Most reliable bakery in town. Famous for its cake, muffins, pastries and all other delicious bakery items. My experience with bakery is always stands good as it always satisfies your craving with giving you the exact flavour.

We as a family love and have always loved monicas. The only thing I do not appreciate is that when you enter the store there are no prices mentioned on the pastries etc. Other than that they have some of the best breads and treats. Highly recommended since the quality is almost always awesome šŸ‘šŸ»

The ambience is good and they have variety of cakes and confectionery items. A Variety of Designer fondent cakes with customisable Flavours. It's little over priced. It's visible from the main road of money mazra.

I and Bae went to this place on a pleasant evening after our dinner to enjoy a quick dessert. We had a warm 'Red Velvet Roulade' and were pleasantly surprised by its extremely rich and fresh taste. The sweetness was bang on as it wasn't overdone. We relished every bite of it and would definitely go back again soon.

This is the best bakery I have ever experienced. Atleast for their breads and pies. I've had better cakes elsewhere but who cares for yearly engagements. Their wheat bran bread is my staple bread, their walnut pie is my extravaganza. Walnut bread, chocolate gateu and mud cakes make my special days more special. And if I have to gift a birthday cake in Chandigarh, it has to be the double chocolate by Monica. I've eaten better cakes( from six ninety six bakers in Jalandhar and Kwality bakery in Patiala) still they deserve all the applause.

Chandigarh premium pastry shop, visiting the Panchkula outlet for the first time, there quality of product is quite good, price is reasonable if you compare with nik bakers, taste is almost the same. They have a small sitting arrangement also

Love the cakes specially Chocolate Truffle (the best) and their Red velvet cake. I donā€™t understand why they donā€™t do home delivery:(

Had beg triangle and my daughter had cheese bbq sandwich and apple pie. Felt uneasy and threw up. Both of us. Something wrong
Aisha Upmanyu
The chocolate vanilla cheesecake had real potencial but the ratio of the layers was not right, the cake at the bottom needed to be a lot less and the vanilla layer should've been much thicker, because of too much cake , it tasted less like a cheesecake and well more like a cake.

They list it as a delivery place and on phone refuse delivery, flat out! What a nice birthday I am having. Great! I will transfer money to a friend and ask him to deliver cake to my niece. Zomato and this Monica SUCK! Big time!

Hi,
I ordered a pineapple cake from Monicaā€™s and got this blue decorated cake which looked pathetic. And was not required. A basic cake would have been appreciated rather than this pathetic cake.
Do look out before ordering.
Thanks

The bakery has wonderful and yummy delicacies but there is no option for vegetarian people, just one or two, all products contain eggs hence many dont prefer... would like to advice to add up pure vegetarian items in menu šŸ‘

Used to love their cupcakes but their quality have degraded quite a lot recently. The cake part of the cupcake feels very dry and stale. Needs a considerable amount of development to live upto their name.

My favourite. Tempting pastries and everything plus amazing coffee. And a cute place to sit and enjoy your coffee.ā™„ļø I love it totally...
šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

Just love their cakes and biscuits. I have tried their chocolate cake, oreo cake and mocha cake and they just tasted amazing. The cakes are moist and not sickly sweet. Just didnot like their cheesecakes as I find them to have a very milky taste.
Swati Sachdeva
Ordered this amazing mango cake and just loved it. The cake was well baked and layered with cubes of mangoes and it was probably the best cake I have ever had.

Monicaā€™s cakes are extra ordinarily delicious. It is little expensive but worth the price. Cakes are fresh and yummmyyyyy. Highly recommended.

I was at Monicaā€™s to grab a quick bite. From that lavish display I chose to have nutella brownie. I loved the texture of the brownie. And who doesnā€™t like Nutella?
There was another delicious Red Velvet Roulade that we ordered. Mouth melting. The texture was just inexplicable.
The service was quick, but one could make out of the expressions of the staff that they we were not welcome. There was a flower as a garnish on the red velvet roulade, which fell off in the very beginning, nobody bothered to put it back, rather replace it. Hospitality lacks here.

No doubt Monicaā€™s cake taste the best...but you guys need to work on your service...First of all you guys donā€™t provide knife with the cake ,on asking you guys give a lame excuse PLASTIC IS BANNED
If I ask you the packing in which the cakes , breads n all are packed isnā€™t that plastic...
I bought a cake from Monicaā€™s , before buying I asked for the flavour they told me its rose n pista
On cutting it was chocolate from inside
Rose n pista was just sprinkled over the cake ..
EXPECTED A LIL MORE FROM YOU GUYS !!
Work hard

We had a craving for patties and our search took us to much sort after Monica's.

If one of the first bakery in Chandigarh (famous one's)

We tried there veg and chicken puff. Honestly it's was not great. It's wasn't crunchy and the filling was just ok.

It was full of oil and couldn't finish two of these between three of us.

Had taken there pineapple cake ( take away ) and it was very good.

Staff was ok, they didn't bother to offer anything extra nor suggested anything.

Ambience is nice.
Monika
I ordered a red velvet cake and no doubt its white cream on the top of it was very delicious but the inner sponge of the cake was so dry which was spoiling the taste of the cake I am rating it at an average level because some part of the cake i liked and some part of it was not vey tasty

when it comes it cakes, Monica's is one of the oldest and the most reliable outlet. It's never been even an incidentĀ that there was any problem with there delivery, staff or the quality of cakes. That is why when you don't want to experiment, you go can buy cakes from them.Ā
It was my birthday a few days ago when one of the friends got me a 'Red VelvetĀ Cake" from Monica's. It was the best red velvet cake I have had in a very long time. At room temperature,Ā it was soft, creamy and just melted perfectly in my mouth.Ā
Ā If you haven't tried Monica's yet then you definitelyĀ should.
Red Velvet Cake and Dark Forest are definitely MUST TRY.

Tried there cheese cake and i didnā€™t liked it. Also thereā€™s chocolate cake quality was not good. Overall not impressed by the quality and taste.

I visited this cute and little outlet for the first time. Quite a good place. It feels as if you are somewhere at hilly area. I ordered a chocolate truffle and a cafe mocha. Quantity and quality both are on point. Just a bit lack in terms of service and staff. Otherwise a good presentation.
Neha Sabharwal
From Monicas panchkula, i had d same imagination as had at chd sec 8 outlet. But dont noe its by chance or wat, at tymes i found it nt gud. For example we ordered a slice of blueberry cheese cake and mud cake. Mud cake ws good but cheesecake ws ok too, v creamy but not upto my pallet.
Divya Bhatia
I have tasted the cakes of this place beforebut got to taste the savoury for the first time. I ordered tandoori chicken sandwich. The sandwich had big pieces of chicken but sadly equally big pieces of onions. Also the flavours of "tandoori" were completely absent. But it was good if considered just a chicken sandwich. The really need to cut down onions as they were over powering the taste of chicken. Also its bit high on price looking at the size of thesandwuch.

I have always loved Monica's cakes, but I was very disappointed when I got a cake yesterday for a celebration only to find a small piece of brown ribbon in the cake's chocolate layer. It is huge concern as a child can choke on it. Please, be very careful with such things. I am not sure if I will be able to trust your safety standards again.

not worth the price. and not very tasty also

Missisippi mud pie. A must try dessert. Perfect balance of caramel and chocolate, the best way to satisfy your hunger pangs.
The staff is really helpful too.
Keep up the good work.!

Very disheartening to know that the cafe ifĀ unprepared to deliver cake on Valentine's day and rejected the order. Expected the cafe to be more planned.

I have tried a lot of stuff from Monicaā€™s, I really like their kulchas and pizza bases and breads. But the cakes are too costly and definitely not worth it. I have tried the salted caramel muffin, choco muffin etc. and did not find them great. They were just okay. But the ambience of the place is really nice if you are meeting someone for a quick snack, then you can try this place.

Monica's in Panchkula is hit or miss! Of the times we have gone, the coffee is great half of the times. The guy at the till has good and bad days too...

Monica's is an old popular bakery in the tricity..
Their Gateu cake is a signature dessert.. The cake melts down in the mouth with a moist rich flavour of chocolate .. And not to forget is their Red Velvet cake..
SHASHANK ATRAY
well to start the pudding was off putting.... some how it was not something i expected and i really had some high expectation...
we actually went there for cake.... Red velvet cake to be exact and to be Frank they did not dissappoint on that regard.... the Cake had perfect texture and the white chocolate cream was exquisite.... the velvet part was not too sweet or shabby either.... though standing at some 700 buks for .5 kg....

While I love the Monica's in sector 8, Chandigarh, the one in Panchkula really needs to work on the finer details. The treats are still the same, but sometimes not as fresh. I love their Nutella brownie and the gateau and still often go in for them. But my problem is with their packaging. The boxes smell of glue or paint or some such industrial component and it permeates into the food real quick. I have made numerous complaints and suggestions to the staff and so on but to no effect. Wish they would work on the packaging!

Tried the opera cake after the sales person suggested it and it was the worst cake I have tried till date.. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Monica's, pkl is a cute lil cafe which does attract attention due to itz brand name earned through chd outlet... the ambience, decor and the variety is really nice. When it comes to staff, they are a bit rude and not so interested type. I ordered a red velvet cupcake which looked pretty but was too dry, a pink lemonade which was refreshing and loved that.

A very cute lil cafe with pastries, mocktails and many more! What I ordered -
šŸ”¹Red velvet pastry - Such cuteness! ā¤
The pastry was good enough and worth for a try, it also had a chocolate layer in between which mad eit quite different from normal red velvet pastries and the 2 hearts on the top gave a perfect look!
Although, the pastry was hard but the presentation made me overlook that fact!
šŸ”¹Pink mocktail - Not that good but not that bad also ;)

Good luck ! šŸ˜‡

I always loved the stuff from here until one day they behaved weird and disconnected my calls when I called to order. I called 2-3 times and they disconnected after confirming that the order can be delivered. It was annoying. Kindly improve your response towards customers as in this industry good service should always be your priority.

This place attracts attention bcz its monicas, but nothing here was upto the mark. I tried fruit pudding and shakes. Pudding wasnt good, and the shake had an excess amount of syrup in it. I won't ever visit this place again nor should anyone else

280 for two average sized chocolate puddings which are available in plastic cups, you can guess the prices.
even it was the worst pudding i had, Ā not even heated to right temp. although i got a 90 rs bread complimentary which was to be expired next day as they had scheme of giving the bread on orders above 200.the place has also a nice sitting.

In my experience as a foodie, I feel eateries, that have an established setup, have it easy when they open new outlets. Specially in the case of Monica's , who have been in Chandigarh for over a decade now and had a great outlet in Elante. But somehow they seem to have lost their touch with the Panchkula outlet. Situated in sector 9 market, the location, ambience and setting is good. But sadly, the food seems to have gone downhill here. We tried the Red velvet cup cakes and sandwiches. The cupcakes tasted a bit dull and felt stale. When I tried to tell the guy at the counter, that it felt funny n something is not right, he rather told me that its how an authentic red velvet should taste like (like I've never tried it before at sector 8). Either Monica's is giving Panchkula outlet a Step motherly treatment or they have yet to standardise their products. What ever it is, Its not bringing me back here for sure.

Bought a choco truffle cake for my mum dad's anniversary. It was so gud that we bought another one the next day šŸ˜„. best place for dessert loversā¤

Monica's has been one of the benchmarks for setting bakery culture in Chandigarh, there truffle cake, mud cake have been favourites along with others. There chocolate / blueberry muffins taste the best. But sadly since they have started to expand the quality and consistency and has come down drastically especially in the panchkula store where i have personally faced issues like stale cake slice, sometimes too watery, sometimes too hard. I even wrote a suggestion in the feedback diary mentioning one of my experiences but sadly things have not improved. Being a fan of your cakes since 10 years or so I sincerely hope the management takes corrective measures to improve the quality standards as expected from a professional bakery like Monica's.

Tried dere mud cake slice.... Chocolate truffle shaving and filling between d layers....perfect
Overall sweetness of d pastry is near perfect
However cake itself is little dry but the taste let u forget dat.
One slice is enough n fulfilling for a person.
A very nice place to try desserts. I tried Fruit pudding and it was very fresh which is rare to find. A must try to go for persons with sweet tooth.

Very rude staff. Had ordered a cake for my daughters birthday. Called them a day prior to get the cake a little earlier than I asked. The fellow refused out right. He was very impolite and had the audacity of banging the phone down. Having ordered a cake worth 3000 bucks I think they can be a little accommodating. And least of all a little polite while dealing with their customers.

I had a brownie something pastry today from here... And it was just heaven :) even the staff was so nice and friendly. Definitely deserve 5 stars! šŸŒ šŸŒ šŸŒ šŸŒ šŸŒ šŸ˜Š

The dealing of the staff is poor. Stale food and extremely dry cakes. Definitely not up to the mark. Have reported multiple times but no response.

One of the best bakery in tricity! Cakes and sandwiches are amazing! Good Service! We had fruit cake(eggless) which was simply irresistible! Taste was superb even after I refrigerated for 2-3 days taste was same. Also tried Chocolate mud cake that too eggless; I would say this wasn't very great! I am already not a fan of chocolate cakes but since they had no other good options available in eggless had to buy this. Cake was fine but I think it was stale and old as I was unable to feel the taste of freshness so lil disappointed this time!!!!!
Shirin
I love their red velvet cupcake.....and their pastries....I really miss their restraunt in elante where they served the mud pie with vanilla icecream which was amazingly delicious....all their outlets are beautifully decorated and so is this one....it feels nice to sit there and enjoy the treats :)

I have been to monica's multiple times and i like the calm atmosphere and the delicious cupcakes they prepare.
The red velvet cupcake is my all time favourite sweet. The choco mousse is also amazing. Havent tried their nutella brownie but my friends really enjoyed it.will try it the next time i hop in this place.
Price is a lil high compared to other bakeries but yes it is worth it.
Ambience: calm and a peaceful sitting with sweet yellow lights and flowers.

Here's the tip...pick breads after 7 pm to avail 20% discount. As a creature of habit, been visiting the main 8 sector chd outlet ever since it started. The chocolate mud pie isn't a go-to any longer, neither are the walnut or apple pies as fabulous or rare... but the breads still don't have serious competition ( a tear for kokomo apart).
This outlet seems to be doing okay though am yet to getting around to sitting here to eat. But the magic bread is available here even when stocks are out in chandigarh..YaY!
Good to see the xmas spirit coming out in the decor!
SOURAV
This quaint bakery may fool you with its size,,, but it offers some spectacular cakes nd pastries.... It is one of the oldest in Chandigarh......The double chocolate,,, apple walnut,,, dark cherry nd opera cakes are popular,,,, but it is the Mud Cake which youĀ must try.... The dark chocolate cake layered with rich chocolate ganache is hard to resist.... Ask them to warm the slice before serving it to you for a molten decadence........
EpicureanKaur
Had apple n walnut pie...
Cold coffee was gud...
Bakery was fine nothing much enticing about the place...!!
There are much better options available near by...

Nice Excellent Music Brilliant coffee and a very extensive but basic coffee shop menu. This place is a must try it just makes one believe that yes you can have a better experience when you want to enjoy your vofee. Must must try. Highly Recommended. I had the French Opera and a cappuccino.
Puja Seth
IV always been fond of their pastries. Tried chocolate wine cake and butterscotch pastries and they were yum too. Paired with hazelnut caramel shake which was a great delight too, I would give 4.5 for taste but 3/5 for seating arrangement. Could have been more spacious.
Sahil Gupta
One of my favorite bakery outlet in tri city. I got a red velvet cake for my friend's bday and celebrated the bday there. The best thing was the way of service and the politeness in how they serve.
Ankit Mahajan
These many stars are only for interiors and nothing else.
Before Zomato team deletes my review saying I am biased i would love to point out few things about this place.
This is such a cute place ,elegantly done and you relax down once you enter there but the fairy tale ends here only.
The cakes on display were of 9th Feb and we went on 16th , so a full week old.
Cakes looked really shabby.
On phone, the head was already scolding someone for sending the products which were smelly.
Now think of my dilemma when I heard about it.
So , we ordered 2 cold coffees along with a paneer sandwich.
Cold coffee was served in glasses which were half the size served by CCD for Tropical Iceberg . On top of it , the straws given were of jumbo size ; a total mismatch combination.
Sandwich which was given to us, according to the staff was the freshest one they had.
It was a paneer tikka sandwich which was totally bland in taste.
Its a humble request to owners , we have all loved your products for ages. Please don't screw your brand just because you want to expand. We need good food , not more stores.
Thanks a tonne .
Cheers
My craving for red velvet brought me here and disappointment was all i could taste. The "so called Red velvet" was nothing but a piece of cake with double layer of White chocolate. I failed to find the main ingredient- New york cheese which is so soft n supple that it melts in mouth. The prices are tad high! The staff is so over intelligent that they giggle/mimic with each other. Huge disappointment by the unprofessional behaviour n food..!!
Navraj Singh Sahi
Monica's never disappoint. The setting the ambience and the lighting is always awesomely done. The only thing that makes me come here again and again is the chocolate gateau cake. You will not find the same taste and freshness anywhere else. Other things on the menu are also worth a try. It offers a very wide range of items in its menu that include both veg and non-veg items. The cakes are to die for and same is the case with the other dry cajes available. The sandwich available are fresh and quite food. The best thing about monica's is that they are expanding and you nay soon find one of their outlets in your vicinity. The only point that i think goes into the negative is that the sitting place is too cramped at least in this outlet, maybe its because of the type of the market it is located in. But the lack of sitting place should not discourage you at all from visiting this wonderful place. Once again I recommend that the chocolate gateau at Monica's is the thing to to die for. Just hit the place without any second thoughts and satisfy your sweet tooth cravings.
Gaurav Sharma
Monica's surely personifies the best in bakery Chandigarh has to offer, but today was an experience which has left me startled.
Trimasu - a unique eye catching recepie which invites a good taste of coffee and softness all around, was compromised to a point where it felt like eating icing of sweetness with no flavor and certainly evading the coffee aspect. The staff were quick to respond with the centralized preparation and a quick printout of the bill, I only request and urge Monica's to add their special touch and bring it back to life. I am sure you can do wonders with it.
P.S - could only have one bite (no more!!!) so there is quite left over to ponder on
