It was first time we ordered to Sonia Cakes and all... We were new to the city and we're not knowing much about good cake artists. Asked one of my friends and got her reference. Fabulously delicious cakes! Highly recommendable when it comes to pleasing the guests. Sonia ji is giving much more then the expectations whether talking of presentation or the taste. 👏👏<br/>Not to mention the quality is brilliant.<br/>The best part is their peaceful lawn to spend winter afternoon or summer evenings with a cup of masala tea and refreshing lemongrass drink.<br/>Waiting for their new cafe to open. Stumbled upon them when meeting a friend, it's little hard to locate but since it's the only place to eat there you cannot miss it. I hope they get some non veg items in the menue, I loved the lemon grass drink, very refreshing and strong. The chocolate items are good too, I had a bread toast with cheese which was yummy but the bread was cracking up. They have a sitting garden also which is a relaxing place on a cool summer evening .

I had ordered two gluten free cakes for my son’s birthday and having them made by Sonia was an incredible decision on my end. The cakes were fresh and purely delectable with the cream layering so light and delicious.. Besides the cake I had also placed An order for some dietary starters and main course food which were prepared and catered to my need, even exceeding my expectations to no beyond. I forgot to take pictures of them because we were too excited to start eating them and they surely didn’t disappoint at all! <br/><br/>I will definitely be back and will do my best to steer business this place’s way, Sonia deserves this and way more!

This is a hidden gem of a place in sector 5 Panchkula.<br/>The things that I found best were:<br/>- Everything was delicious and fresh, in tried aalu puff, paneer puff ,pav bhaji ,white sauce pasta etc. and other healthy multi grain prepared assortments, not once I found something dry or tasteless. Everything was quite delicious.<br/><br/>- I didn't try the sweets and cake but love to try them next<br/><br/>-They will pack it quite nicely if you want to take the food with you<br/><br/>- Decor is quite niche and feels like a French or European design, you will be greeted by a warm hearted polite owner with a smile<br/><br/>- The best part is a small garden picture attached, in the front where you can go with your loved one and sit there and enjoy quality time.<br/><br/>Do visit place when I will come to Panchkula again..

We had ordered a custom cake for brother’s birthday. We had randomly explained the design and flavours required to sonia mam and the final cake that was delivered, was amazing in taste, presentation and design. I got a cake customised and it was delivered within 1 hr of ordering it. It tasted amazing. Since then Have got soo many cakes done. They are always good.

I am happy the way they assist customers; polite and kind enough.. They never missed to do a followup call a day before the occasion; I was happy to see that dedication. The cake was finished with the perfect look; however, the internal part/taste could be improved a little. Overall, it was a great experience. Best and freshest cakes in town. Small and neat place with a serene outdoor seating.<br/>Shakes are really good too. Pita bread with hummus and puffs were really fresh and crisp. Haven't had better grilled sandwiches than here.<br/>

Set in the backdrop of an erstwhile bustling arcade centre is Sonia's, which has taken a bit of the old school charm of the place and has spun a bit if it's own in its food and its ambience with a soothing green patio where one can relinquish the average day's plight and muster one's sanity back. Although, Sonia's has been the go to name for the city to learn how to cook for a while, its has now unveiled its bakery to all and has done so with a sense of honesty and respect to the craft and their customers. Everything at Sonia's is made with love and utmost detail to the quality of the ingredients to only be complimented with the most honest and reasonable prices. Their pita cottage cheese wrap (in photo) bears testament to that. The bakery items are rich and fresh and almost 1/4 the extortionate prices of the ersatz big wigs of bakery across the tricity. Closing tip: Enjoy their french press hot coffee for just 40 bucks with a nice read in their green patio in the evenings!! 👍🏼<br/>

The owner and the expert herself, Miss Sonia is very polite and explained me the different varieties of cakes very patiently. Finally I placed the order of my choice, i.e. Devil's crust truffle cake which was delivered fresh by her brother itself, who was also very polite. The presentation and packing of the cake was awesome. Coming to the taste, it was lip smacking, full of chocolate. It made our day. And the main thing is that, I ordered around 7.30 PM when no one was ready to deliver a cake. I would definitely recommend this place to the people looking for yummy cakes and that too for home delivery. The only thing which I can figure out going against this outlet is the unjustifiably higher prices, which are a bit too high for the brand. But I guess on occasions like birthdays, these things can be ignored ☺️

Highly recommend. They delivered a deliciously fresh coffee-flavoured birthday cake right at my home, in-person,  within two-three hours of ordering (when most bakeries sold stale or were closed).  Saved my day.

Sonia's Cakes and all is a small bakery I had heard of, and seen labels on the festive gift boxes but never been to. What particularly caught my attention was the "Choco-Black Forest-rocks" (sry I don't know the real name even yet) someone gave along with an anniversary invitation and these rocks were great. Now getting here is like treasure hunt. Its in sector 5 behind the market where buffet hut is located. The bakery is actually a very small shop with a refrigerator (inside and outside) where all the goodies are kept. Rest its more like a invitation gift shop for weddings and occasions. It was 5 of us & we tried the Paneer Puff, Paneer Swiss roll, baked samosa and a Chinese chilly roll. I tried to enquire about the "choco-black forest-rock" thing, but the guy could really understand what I meant and all effort went in vain. How ever the chocolate covered Oreos caught my eye and they were delicious. In my personal opinion the bakery was good (except the paneer Swiss roll, would recommend to avoid), but the main USP of this place is with the home made chocolates. Also worth a mention here is that they provide with the ingredients, syrups and essence which is a very unique preposition, More like a Do-it-Yourself style. But as an eatery I would rate it just average and give it 3/5.

You have to wait 30mins after placing order. <br/><br/>In conclusion, go only if you want a customised cake and be ready to pay a hefty amount for it. <br/><br/>I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.

Overrated is the word for this one!<br/><br/>The location is amiss and serves a great disadvantage to the place. The owner of staff is proud of her work and is very soft spoken. She is courteous enough to give you a tour of her lovely sweet shop and her smile is very much @pushing you to buy d stuff. <br/><br/>We took away Vegetable patty, Manchurian Kulcha and truffle. She clained vegetable patty to be fresh but alas.. It was stale. Manchurian Kulcha was good but again I was not sure what bearing it will have on my health. Truffle was good. Overall it was not so good experience.<br/><br/>My other experience was great enough to keep me away from this joint. I went on a call for designing a box of 6 customised cupcakes for which she almost priced me 1500. Literally the prices are tad high. <br/><br/>For me this bakery is a hoax with no room of going back again!! 😣

Sonia's Cakes N All was on my wishlist since a long time, but given to the distance between Mohali and Panchkula, the plan kept on delaying. So after a prolonged procrastination, when I finally paid a visit to Sonia's Cakes around Diwali, I was dismayed by the closed sign outside the bakery door! But just when we were about to leave, we were greeted by a sprightly lady, the owner of the shop, who told us that she was guiding the staff to prepare bulk orders and so they close the outlet during heavy season. Now this was the time when we realized that we have either planned our visit at the wrong time or we should have given the order in advance, since they make everything fresh, right on order!<br/><br/>Despite the fact that they were caught up with a lot of bulk Diwali orders, Sonia ma'am was generous enough to take the order for our cakes and told us that the cakes would be ready in an hour or two. But it was quite a turn-off that when we reached the place after two hours, we were told that our order is not yet ready and the preference was been given to the bulk Diwali gift packs. Okay! We can relent this part for wrong timing, but still it was a bit unpleasant. <br/><br/>Now coming to the cakes - we ordered mawa cake and chocolate mini cake which were baked fresh, and along with it we took Pineapple Cashew muffin and Orange Choco chip muffin off the shelf. <br/><br/>The mawa cake is a wholesome preparation of bits of cashewnut sprinkled over a cake of pure mawa, which is popularly known as khoya. The mawa cake serves as a good snack with tea, particularly served in Irani tea shops. Although the cake fills the room with cardamom aroma and its soft texture would entice you to have more of it, but the pure mawa content can be quite heavy for those who have cholestrol issues.<br/><br/>The mini cake is a unique concept for those who can't consume the half kg cakes in a single go, and yet they want something bigger and better than a muffin or a cupcake. The one we ordered was the chocolate mini cake, glazed with ganache. The ganache kept the cake moist and warm till two days, which was remarkable.<br/><br/>The packed muffins were dry and brittle, which explained why Sonia ma'am prefers to serve cakes fresh and not the ones prepared beforehand. They tasted a lot like the britannia tea cakes and I am not really a fan of those commercial cakes. This was the only part which was a disappointment to the core.<br/><br/>Now whether I will visit this bakery again will totally depend upon the conduct of owner as to how well they handle our order next time, since it is hard to rely on this place because of the partiality during our previous visit. Also, with Mawa cake so heavy on health and fruit based cakes not up to the mark, it leaves us with very limited options to choose from. Nevertheless, I will still give this place another try, since I was quite impressed by the energy of the owner and I am sure she is keen about perfecting the shortcomings.

It was in 2013 that we ordered a retirement party cake for mommy at Sonia's. it was vanilla flavored with perfect decent decoration. And this year 2015 we ordered another retirement party cake for daddy. It was pineapple flavored with improved as desired decoration. Though the cake was so spongy and fresh but the pineapple pieces were too less. <br/>As of date we have arranged two family functions at large scale and for both the functions our preference was Sonia's. hope next time we have more pineapple in the cake.
