Something different!! A cactarium or cactuario is a garden dedicated to the planting of cacti. While they generally specialize in collecting cacti, they can also include other desert plants such as sabla, agaves or Crassulaceae, although this would better be termed "xeriscaping"

It was nice experience to look at succulents in the park and have a outing, usually 2-3 hrs is sufficient for this garden.

Entry - Rs. 10 Time - 8 A.M - 6 P.M Parking - Easily Available outside the garden Location - Opp to sec 9 Panchkula market Different varieties of cacti , it's a different type of garden, they could have maintained it a little better but nice place to visit in good weather and to click photos.

This garden brings together a huge variety of cactus which will leave you amazed. Also viewing flowers on cactus plants is something which changed one’s perceptions about the plant variety. The only issue here is that it is very far from other attractions and would recommend to go using a booked cab or auto for the to and fro transportation to avoid spending a lot of time waiting for a bus.

Good place to spend time with family and if you are cactus lover then its a hub.

Very interesting collection of cacti. People and kids of all age group will enjoy if they wish to see variety of cactus and succulents. Some plants were extremely rare. The ticket is only 10 rupees but the park is well maintained. Also, town park is just next door. The glass rooms can be maintained in a better way. This garden has so much potential to become more attractive for the visitors.

Cactus Garden is located in the heart of the city Panchkula. The objective behind developing this garden was the preservation and conservation of endangered species of cacti and succulents as well as to attract tourists. Stretched over an area of seven acres of land, it is considered Asia’s largest outdoor landscaped cacti and Succulents Garden with over 2500 species of Cactus.

A visit to Panchkula is incomplete without making a trip to the Cactus Garden. Officially known as National Cactus and Succulent Botanical Garden and Research Centre, the garden is Asia’s biggest garden devoted to rare and endangered species having more than 3,500 species. Genus Caralluma of Indian origin are seen here with some of the endangered species. Collection of Indian succulents here is considered the largest in the world. Botanists and cactus lovers get attracted to this unique garden, which covers over 2,500 species of cacti and succulents. It is known fact that most of these cacti and succulents have medicinal values. Cactus show also is organised at this garden during the month of March every year. The garden has 272 species of genus Mammillaria and 160 species have been naturalised outdoor. There are other beautiful plants of Aloe Speciosa, Aloe Ferox & other exotic species. In low growing cacti such as Mamillarias, Astrophytum, Notocacti and several other species have been grown here. Bonsai collection of succulent and non-succulent plants has been created and gifted by Shri J.S.Sarkaria. This educative collection displays different styles of bonsai. A collection of all the known genera of cactus can be seen in nine glass houses. Garden also has highly representative collections of Haworthias, Aloes and Gasterias. Plants are also available for sale.

The garden has several cacti of varying forms set against open lawns. There are greenhouses where the mother plants are grown, and a nursery to purchase young cacti and succulents. It is a good place for observation, taking pictures, and short picnics.

One of the best gardens in this area. You will be mesmerised by these giants as well as the tiny one with bright flowers. The arrangement is very nice. All the parks are clean in Chandigarh and this one too is very clean with availability of washroom. There could be few more guards inside to stop the nuisance of hormone packed early age couples.

Its superb! Any plant lover will fall in love with this place.. Very well maintained garden..

Ordered hot gulab jamun and ras malai at 11 am.. Ras malai looked as if it was not fresh.. and hot gulab jamun were not hot. So I believe both items were packed from last night left overs . Would never order from Gopal again..

Amongst the only places i would recommend someone in panchkula. They have the best grilled sandwiches and burgers.

Staff is very very rude. They always have some or the other excuse for the card swipe machine. Food grade has decreased. <br/>

This place is for all those people who love chaats and sweets. They have a plethora of options in sweets and the packaging is also quite awesome. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food and sweets is quite nice.<br/><br/>We ordered the Aloo Tikki Chaat, Padpdi Chaat, Amritasari Kulcha, Chole Bhatura and Kulfi Falooda.<br/><br/>The Papdi Chaat and the Aloo Tikki were delicious, we din't quite like the Chole Bhature.<br/>The Amritsari Kulcha was also quite decent.<br/><br/>One must surely visit this place when in Chandigarh.

This place has a nice ambience. It has good seating arrangement but provides only self service. It serves huge variety of cuisine. You get almost everything here to fill your stomach. From lip smacking north indian food to south Indian dishes, chats, continental everything is available here. We were stopped here for Lunch on our way back from Shimla. We ordered a lot of items and almost everything was very tasty. The items are priced little on the higher side but can be tried once. They also have huge variety of sweets and cakes.

Ordered Paneer Tikka... Quantity was way too less.. even the packing was bad and in plastic.. got literally 5 pieces of it.. no onion.. no capsicum.. very bad experience

I visited this place today with family and must say that.food quality was good and food was delicious. We ordered 3 cornettos on their ground floor store which were available in various flavours Vanilla, Butterscotch, Unicorn, Chocolate,Chocochip etc.<br/>Overall it was a good experience, but store must do something about the beggars just outside the outlet,they follow you until you sit in your car and also make you feel uncomfortable.

Very unprofessional behavior by restaurant, they denied order deliver after accepting the order and wasted too much of my time.Also, it seems that their food is also not good. I ordered hot gulab jamun, they state 2 piece in 1 plate but i received only 1. See picture i attached.

We ordered to pack bhalla papdi chat and one more item. Which was mentioned on the bill as well but they by mistake served it, when we told them that it was for take away, instead of packing it properly like it should have been done, each item separately, rather they just packaged the whole thing in one box. We opened it after coming back home and it was all so soggy and messy because the curd leaked in the pack. Horrible behaviour it was.

Must must try TANDOORI INDIAN PLATTER. It contains snacks ans main course items. Serves two and is very economical. I'm also in love with their paneer naan with gravy. I always have an amazing experience here. The food is fresh and delicious.

Gopal's is one of the best family restaurants in Panchkula. Their food quality is the best. They serve only fresh stuff.

Cheap quality and misbehavior

Masal dosa was the best item we had my mom really loved it. The coconut chutney was impeccably yummy. This Gopal's outlet had outdoor seating as well. Bought some rasgullas as well which wer great.<br/>But didn't like the mutter Kachoris 1 star less is due to them.

Quantity of moong dal halwa was very less and taste was also not that good.,"GREAT CRY LITTLE WO0L"..... Will never ever order from Gopal's again.

This outlet has Decent food, but sadly marred by uncourteous and rude staff. A total opposite of Chandigarh Gopal's. Also do check the plates and cutlery before eating, its dirty and when i complained, staff took no action at all.<br/>Not going back there again.

It's a big chain of restaurants in tricity and Patiala. When I asked for normal water because I don't want to drink cold water but they don't have provision for normal water. They told me to buy mineral water bottle. At food counter service was not all the person who were serving are confused.

Gopal's food can never be beaten.They offer same delicious taste consistently. Ordered Pav-bhaji and chole bhature and the taste was fantastic. I have deducted one star because I asked for chutney while ordering which wasnt sent and Pav needed a bit more cooking.

Everything feels like homemade.once you eat from Gopal's you can't eat from any other place.Best quality ,best taste and they always follow the instructions.

Masala Dosa is very tasty. Packaging is awesome. Properly sealed and reached in time.<br/>Sambhar is good and tamato chutney is really good. Coconut chutney is average. Overall good experience with Gopal's.<br/><br/>

This was the second time that I’m facing so many issues with my order. The worst experience with Gopal sweets sector 8 Panchkula. These issues were totally unexpected for me but it’s totally fine I understand and I won’t ever place an order with Gopal’s.

I visited with my sister yesterday. We ordered special thali and paper dosa with two drinks. Special thali was amazing as they give you so much naan or roti that for 2 people they are enough. Paper dosa size was too big to have.. Must try these two.

Worst experience in Gopal’s. <br/><br/>First, there service style is very bad. It’s not even coherent to self-sevice. For some orders people are taking themselves, some waiters are serving. If you order mutiple things, at your token they’ll ring bell you go to counter and they’ll serve you just one thing and say rest are coming. You take one dish and wait for another dish, in the mean time the first dish will not be hot by now. If you are in group, then it’s worst. <br/><br/>Second, today we ordered choley bhature and amritsari kulche. Choley were very bad, there was lot of oil and some clay particles (Kirk in punjabi). I reported this to manager as well. Overall very bad expierence.

Below ecpectation. I expected more much then this this is neither tasy nor presented well. If i order next time by chance i hope it will be presented good and tasty

Gopal’s is one of tge most renowned restaraunts but I personally didn’t like it much. The ambience is fine, not great and the food is also average. I tried masala dosa which was good. I also tried Sambar vada but it was a diaappointment. Same goes with choley bhature. It was a little too spicy. The service is very slow and hospitality is also not good. I also had faluda kulfi and it was fine, nothing great.

One of the better and cleaner places if you would like to have sweets and snacks. Their Chinese and vegetarian options are also decent and you do not get surprised when it comes to quality.

Good food always whenever visited. Almost everything is tasty and delicious. It is having self service but no issues if food is such a darling it hardly matters. Must visit with family and friends.

Gopals has always been my favourite for a quick bite. We had chole bhature which was decent in taste and quite nice. I would definitely visit it next time to try all the other dishes and would recommend it further too

A sudden hankering for choley bhature bought me to this outlet. And choley bhature ought to be complimented with a sweet lassi..<br/>A good place, decent for family dine-ins.. was kinda crowded so I am guessing that the other entries on the menu are also worth trying.<br/><br/>Long story short-- bhature were good.. though the choley were way too oily and not up to the mark..<br/>Lassi was really good. Gopals is my second home, i could just end up writing whole of the menu if i have to mention what food i love about gopals<br/>The only thing i dont like is quantity of idli is less in idli sambhar and rajma is less in rajma rice with raita... you can improve on that<br/>And you can also provide an option of half plate pasta as there are loads of people who cant or dont want to eat a full plate pasta

A budget friendly place to dine out with family. The staff maybe unresponsive sometimes. The food quality could be a lot better. The ambiance is quite noisy.<br/>The food delivery is very poor. There is always some items missed in the delivery. The food is also not nicely packed.

Typical modernized dhaba. Food is not at all good here when compared to other outlets of Gopal's, specially one in Sec 8 Chandigarh.<br/>Staff as always is hit or miss, with mostly a miss only.<br/>Mostly its like a 'get your food and get lost' kinda attitude.<br/>Though, not complaining since the place has always been kept dhaba style. Atmosphere here is always noisy.<br/>Only good bit is, pricing is still kept value for money.

I had picked up 2 plates of Pav Bhaaji and Papdi Chaat. Gopals have never let my family, relatives and friends down in their services. Few of my friends recommended me to try out this joint. But, this is the first time when I got myself food packed as I was in a hurry or else I usually dine in.<br/>As soon as I reached home,I was tempted to eat the Papdi Chaat. The Papdi Chaat was still so crispy and moreover it was decorated so well that I couldn't stop myself to eat it all. It was perfectly loaded with meethi chutney, Dahi and green chutney. What surprised and excited me was the Pomegranate.<br/>Coming to the Pav Bhaaji, it is not amongst my favorite, but after eating from here, it has become my favorite! The masala of the Bhaaji was really yummilicious and the Pav was buttery.<br/>In all, I was totally satisfied even after I got it home and ate!<br/><br/>Thank you so much for your service GOPALS 🥰

The food preparation was very bad. The food items were not properly cooked (kacchi roti and kacchi dal) and there was no salad with the food which is necessary.

Last night I visited Gopal's for dinner with my brother or my sister in law we ordered 2 special thali it contains Dal Makhni, Shahi panner, spicy Alloo Gobhi,jeera Rice ,Raita ,Pickle,Dry Papad,Salad,special sweet Dish Rasgulla And in Breads 2 Roti ,1 Prantha ,1 Naan<br/>Their food is very tasty and spicy and their service and sitting area is also satisfactory.You should visit this Restaurant and enjoy their food and service<br/>Overall I'm full satisfy of their services but Bread were a little dry but overall food is yummyyyy.<br/>

The taste and quality of food was good but the staff isn't professionally trained. While in queue for getting food, a shop employee tried cutting the queue for getting the food for the shop owner. However when the waiting customers protested that employee backed off!

The food was over spicy. My daughters couldn't eat it. They should add spices in proportions and shouldn't make it extremely spicy.

A place where you would get everything under one roof. Wanting some chaat it is there , south indian , chinese , italian . They have an indian twist to each of it . This place gives you wide variety of indian sweets too! I love their kulcha with gravy , rajma rice combo and rava masala dosa ! If you like the indianiZed chinese you can have it here. Try honey chilly potato and chilly paneer

Poor service even a coffee frappe took 40 minutes to deliver and it was just like water, order handling is bad. Paneer tikka over salted and not marinated well.

I ordered for matar kulcha and pav bhaji but was very unhappy with the material delivered. In matar kulcha instead of matar I received oily choley. This is not acceptable. The amount for the same should be refunded.
