Your dining experience in Goa has to include a healthy proportion of local favourites and nice places to break away from it every once in a while. Tamari is the perfect Pan Asian outing. Our Tuna Tataki was seared just right sitting nicely on sliced avocado, seaweed and diced cherry tomatoes. My lemon coriander soup was flavourful, even if the chicken pieces were overcooked. The Mapo Tofu Lamb was sharp with the silken tofu just the right foil. And the spicy Hunan Pork was tender, wok tossed. Excellent. With sticky rice.
A few days back, we made an impromptu dinner plan to visit Tamari for some Asian food. And I'm so glad we did. Right from the ambience, the service to the food, everything turned out to be just perfect.
We started with the Konjee crispy mushrooms were nice and crispy, without being chewy and the sauce in which they were sautéed wasn't too spicy either. Golden sweet corn soup was the usual soup with corn and other veggies and thankfully, not too thick in texture.
Okonomiyaki (the Japanese pizza) was a delight dish, not like your regular bread pizza, but a soft pancake instead, loaded with lots of vegetables. We totally loved this one.Of their Signature Rolls, we had the Midori which was beautifully made and tasted great.
We ended our meal with some warm Japanese tea. Pricing of the food is not too bad and the wonderful overall experience quite justifies it. Would highly recommend a visit here.
Is an outlet inside the Taj Vivanta Hotel. Situated in the heart of the Panjim City. Lot of parking area in and around the hotel. The staff from the security at the main Gate to the restaurant were very welcoming and excellent. We were here for the Yumcha menu that usually happens on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They have a set of Veg and Non Veg Menu that you can choose from and can have unlimited from either one along with different flavoured teas. The non vegetarian menu was excellent from starters to Dessert not forgetting the flavoured Tea. The restaurant has a great ambience and very comfortable seating. All in all great place, great food , great ambience, value for money and last but not the list great hospitality. Definitely recommend to try this place and looking forward to visiting again for a repeat of the amazing experience.

The food was excellent! I can't express my love for their Asian food. Mom and I ordered Golden sweet corn chicken soup was simply splendid. And we ordered Prawns tempura sushi. Being an open bar kitchen, we got the pleasure to see the talented chef make the roll. Big prawns freshly fried and rolled into the rice-seaweed combo. The taste was so beautiful!
Honestly, I'm a Asian food enthusiast and Tamari is the BEST food I've ever tasted. Hats off!

We had a wonderful night at Tamari. Sumedh, the restaurant sous chef, took great care of us by guiding us on our choices and even bringing another chef to prepare a special dessert for us. Every dish was memorable, I really enjoyed the Oknomiyaki. Babla was our waiter and recommended me a delicious cocktail and even welcomed us in my language. A unique experience, you must go.
Truly 5 star experience. The sushi, Bao, Hakka noodles, lamb in black pepper sauce were yum! Just take a look at the Bao pig!
