Review Thai N Wok - Panjim

Anosca M
The food is good. Service is great. And the flavor profile is on point. Interesting names to all dishes (description mentioned though) which keeps you wondering. Loved the pork ribs, stir fried beef and green thai Curry the most. Even the dipping sauces to the Dimsums and satay were just so flavorful. The cocktails however could've been a Lil better since the spices/herbs used were too overpowering. Couldn't possibly stuff ourselves with desserts so this gives us a chance to visit again.

This place deserves all the praise in the world 😍 the staff is amazing and helps you decide the best dishes. Food is mind blowing and super flavourful. To top it all off, there’s a great vibe in this restaurant because of the smooth music playing. I loved it and will definitely come again

This was not the first time I was eating at Thai n wok. The freshness of the food scores high for me here. The morning glory greens are a refreshing change and the warmth of the service added to the experience. The welcome dish (pic attached) was nice change as we waited for the food and calls for appreciation. On similar lines a small assortment could be presented with the cheque. The dim sums are nice but could be better is what I feel. when you have experienced amazing food across the country the value expectation goes a notch up isn’t it Since I have been visiting the restaurant for a few years I feel subtle changes in the ambience will enhance the experience and add value. The portion sizes can be improved too. All in all a good experience, the food is good. It would be nice of the staff to suggest combinations as this would make the meal experience perfect.

This was my introduction to Thai food. Prawn salad was amazingly flavourfull. They gave us a leaf appetizers with fried garlic. That was such a blast in mouth. Highlight was Thai green curry with sticky rice 🍚. Staff was very helpful.. explained about all dishes thoroughly. Dimsums were fine too.

thainwok a fine dining restaurant serving scrumptious authentic Thai & oriental cuisine. The most unique and best quality about this restaurant is, all the delicacies in here are made with fresh produce from their own farm. A true Thailand’s Thai food experience in Goa.

Oriental Cuisine on a plate. Located in Miramar, this underrated place is a hidden gem if you are a sucker for oriental foods. Must have are the momos, dim sums and Thai Chicken. For the quality and quantity of food served here, the prices make you feeling good after a meal. The ambience is soothing and perfect for families or romantic dates.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a local Thai restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The menu was extensive, offering a wide variety of traditional Thai dishes. Overall, I would highly recommend this Thai restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic dining experience. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I can't wait to go back and try more of their amazing dishes!

To be honestly I have tried mostly veg food items. Loved them all. Will definitely go back to try the non veg items.

This is as authentic as it gets, Thai N Wok serves food prepared by a Thai chef with ingredients specially imported all the way from Thailand. The management is so committed towards  maintaining quality and authenticity  bringing their diners a healthy meal that they even grow their own vegetables here in Goa itself! We tried the tom yam prawns soup & tom klong, and I must say it’s an explosion of flavours and spices which is every Indian's delight. The terminology can be a bit confusing for those unfamiliar with Thai cuisine but the staff is always ready to help. For appetisers, we tried chicken satay (chicken skewers), por pia tod (Thai fried spring rolls), koi teao lui suan (fresh vegetables wrapped in rice paper aka vegetarians Thai best friend, which even non-vegetarians can’t get enough of). We also tried a wing bean prawns salad which came with this amazing dressing. For mains we had kao phad veg(Thai fried rice), phad Thai noodles, massaman kai chi (massaman curry) and plapad prik Thai dum (stir-fried modso fish with black pepper and bell chillies). The final delight was a dessert called mango sticky rice. We had a really amazing time interacting with the staff and the chef. The restaurant gives a warm, fuzzy feeling and the spices and herbs used here are specifically a delight in the monsoon. If you’re looking to try something new and authentic, we highly recommend to try Thai N Wok soon with your loved ones.

We had ordered beef yum yum chicken satay for our appetizers Our main course included egg fried rice, chicken in mushroom and Oyster sauce, pad thai shrimp For dessert we shared a portion of date pancakes with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce drizzled on top Every dish had such unique flavors. I like to test the quality of the food by the way I feel afterwards in terms of hing etc This didn't happen. The food quality is amazing especially with the fact that they use their own home grown vegetables. Staff are warm and friendly and Warren and his wife are wonderful I'd highly recommend you to go to Thai n work for authentic Thai cuisine ✅❤️

What makes Thai food so special? Among many things, it is known for the balance of sweet, salty, spicy, sharp, and sour. Thai n Wok in Panjim creates harmony on every plate and has the potential to make Thai food your new favourite cuisine. The food is flavour packed, attributed largely to the fact that most of the vegetables are home-grown, spice mixes are prepared by the owners and the recipes are passed down the generations, resulting in impeccable flavours, no matter what you eat.
Sai Anusha chimata
The wholesome Thai meal had robust flavors. Thai green curry, rice, mango sticky rice, and gang jued were all delicious. If you enjoy Thai food, Thai n Wok is the place to go. The atmosphere was just as amazing as the superb meal. Nothing could go wrong with such a wonderful atmosphere and delicious cuisine, right?

I had a fantastic dining experience at Thai n Wok ! The diverse menu offered a delightful range of flavors, and each dish was expertly crafted. The attentive service and inviting ambiance added to the overall enjoyment. I highly recommend it for a memorable culinary journey.

A good place with good food. Very nice ambience and eating environment. Very vibrant decorations. A good variation in menu. It's just little expensive and the place is not very easy to find.

A place to get your hands on some really authentic thai food. They have a farm to table concepts. The organic vegetables are right in their farm and used to prepare the food also you can buy some outside the resto if you wish to.

Pick a dish and this place will tell you, how it can be delicious. Undoubtedly, one of the best in the town, when it comes to Thai food and Thai cuisine.<br/>The ambience, the soothing music played in the background and the organic food. Yes, the vegetables for this restaurant is brought from their own farm.<br/>Trust me, this place is bomb. 🔥

Awesome! This is one of the best Thai food I ever had in one really nice restaurant.<br/><br/>The oriental ambiance is relaxing and the background music was so calming. The space is not that big but it’s cosy and somehow you feel happy to be there.<br/><br/>Service was good as well. Food came quick, hot and the staff took care of us for the whole evening.<br/><br/>Food was the best part! We started with some Mean Khan (thai pan) to awaken the palates and it was so full of flavour. For starters we had Moo Manow which is a dish of pork pieces with salad and some kind of Thai sauce and Yam Yang (grilled meat). Both had a punch but different in flavours, very enjoyable. For main we had Pork Chili Oyster Noodles which came with spinach and other delicious veggies. Every each dish was amazing.<br/><br/>Definitely a place to visit!
Nandini Karmarkar
Great place for good Chinese food. We went for a family dinner with the kids and had some hakka noodles, lamb and pork. We also had a starter called Morning Glory. The food was amazing and the service was great. I found the serving size a tad small. But the taste more than made up for it. Will definitely visit again. We had Chinese this time round. Want to try their Thai menu next time.

Thai cuisine is a combination of five regional cuisines, corresponding to the five main places of Thailand. The spectrum of flavours of this cuisine is so vast that no two dishes are ever the same and to taste this we headed to thai n wok, a beautifully designed restaurant with a wooden Thai architecture serving authentic Thai cuisine. The fresh green ingredients used are produced in their very own farm at Saligao.<br/>.<br/>First, to kick off our hunger we started with some delicious hot tom yum soup populated with prawns, fresh mushrooms and peanut crust. It had a sour-spicy tinge and it was ideally delightful.<br/>.<br/>Continuing our hunger quest with prawns gyoza, moist dumplings stuffed with prawns and veggies steamed and pan-fried to perfection.<br/>.<br/>The next highlight dish was the yam pak being, morning glory leaves dressed with tempura batter and fried, and dipping these crispy leaves with the spicy chicken sauce made them truly delicious.<br/>.<br/>The chicken satay, chicken is skewed to fresh coconut leaf served with peanut sauce and spicy Thai achar which had their own fresh garden spices. Painting both the sauces on the chicken gave it an exquisite taste with a smoky coconut flavour.<br/>.<br/>Beating the summer heat with a fresh mojito. A combination of sweetness, citrus and herbaceous mint. The fresh mint leaves are perfectly bruised to release the essential flavour. The taste was natural and refreshing.<br/>.<br/>Pla Tod Samun Plai it's a dish with red snappers flashed of and the meat is coated with better and fried with love and served with crispy fried Thai herbs, kapao, caramelised onions, cashew seeds and spiced up with the sauce.<br/>.<br/>Pha Nang (Red Thai Curry) and Gang Khiawwan (Green Thai Curry) served with steamed boiled rice. Chicken is cooked with the spicy red curry sauce with coconut milk and the hot Thai green curry immersed with chicken, gherkins and Thai veggies.<br/>.<br/>Phad Ka Pao, its a dish with Stir-fried meat in a spicy sauce with basil leaves served with jasmine rice and topped with an egg.<br/>.<br/>Pad pak being fal dang, it has sauteed morning glory veggies with Spicy sauce with a slight Manchurian taste and was really delicious.<br/>.

Why go to Thailand to taste their cuisine when we have a thai restaurant based out in Goa itself. For some one who has been to Thailand, getting invited to thai n Wok took me back to Thailand again. The owners(Warren and Dew Vaz) have a huge farm in saligao where they grow all the required thai ingredients. Not only that but they also sell it in their restaurant. If you happen to meet Dew Vaz here, she will smartly brag about the farm while she explains the dish to you. She is very sweet.🤭<br/><br/>Must try:<br/>🍵 Prawn Tom yum soup<br/>Price : ₹480 for hot pot and ₹170 for a bowl<br/>Rating : 4.5/5<br/>🍽️ Chicken Satay<br/>Price : ₹320<br/>Rating : 4/5<br/>🍽️Yam Pak bueng (batter fried morning glory leaves)<br/>Price :<br/>Ratings : 4.5/5<br/>🍽️Gang khiawwan (green Thai curry)<br/>Price : ₹350<br/>Ratings : 3.8/5<br/>🍨Ice cream sing cleung<br/>Price : ₹240<br/>Ratings : 4/5<br/>(Contains coconut ice cream with sticky rice, kidney beans, sweet potato and some more surprising elements)<br/>🍨Khao Neaw Mamuang😍😍<br/>(Fresh Mango served with sticky rice,<br/>dressed with coconut milk. Thai n wonk serves you authentic thai food and also japanese food. The speciality of this place is that all vegetables(thai) that are used in their cuisine are grown in their own farm. They are all fresh. You can also buy these vegetables right at the entrance of the restaurant . Ambience is good overall. So coming towards the dishes..<br/><br/>Prawn Tom Yum Soup :Tom Yum is both hot and sour, and it's one of the main signature dishes that defines Thai flavor. I assure you it tastes great. I would definitely recommend this to try it out.<br/><br/>Chicken Satay-These are basically grilled and coconut sticks are used as skewers which adds a unique flavor while grilling.<br/>Here they served it with peanut sauce which is also called as Satay sauce .<br/><br/>Prawns Gyoza- The bite sized, half moon dumplings are steamed and pan fried which goes perfect for a starter. Again a recommended item here.<br/><br/>Yam Morning Glory -Morning Glory leaves are deep fried with tempura and served with spicy chicken sauce. Trust me..this dish is really worth trying out.<br/><br/>Pad Pak Beung Fai Dang are stir-fried morning glory, is one of the tastiest dishes. The ingredients are cooked over extremely high heat to give the greens a nice, crisp texture and bring out their full flavor.<br/><br/>Pha Nang (Red Thai Curry)-<br/>is another dish I swoon over. It’s rich and spicy with a distinctly unique flavor and is served with a bowl of rice.<br/><br/>Pla Tod Samun Plai - served with deep-fried fish (red snapper), herbs ,kapao and lots of cashew nuts. A chilli-lime dip is served on the side.<br/><br/>Phad Ka Pao (Stir- fried meat in spicy sauce with basil leaves serves with jasmine rice and topped with egg)<br/>Thai holy basil makes stir-fry dishes more exciting. The slight tinge of peppery taste and fragrance makes this dish flavourful and appetizing.<br/><br/>Gang Khiawwan (Green Thai Curry) is also served with a bowl of rice.<br/><br/>Desserts:-<br/>Kao Neaw Nanyang<br/>Fresh mango served with sticky rice and coconut milk. This one is really satisfying.<br/><br/>Taptim Krop<br/>Water chestnuts with coconut cream. It is also served with a bowl of ice which will be extremely refreshing and cool. I ate it without ice and it tasted really good.<br/><br/>Ice cream Song Cleung- it looked like thai version of gadbad consisting of scoops of vanilla icecream and as go on digging inside you will also see sticky rice which goes really well with the icecream.<br/>Really enjoyed Thai food. A must visit place👍<br/><br/>

The food was okay but the menu rates and the rates in the bill were drastically different. This could be troublesome for people on a budget.<br/>

Best authentic thai food i have here only.must go and try.very nice ambiance .They grow their own veggies organically!that is the best part .Just smell before to taste them ,that aroma will take you into another place.there is the proper balance of ingredients they put into dishes.<br/>Staff is very helpful.<br/>Presentation- Very nice like thai food<br/>Taste- awesome<br/>Ambiance- too good.

Visited this place for lunch and would recommend this place if in Panjim and would like Thai food. However don't set your expectations too high as the taste of food is average.<br/><br/>Ambience 4/5<br/>service 3/5<br/>taste of food 3/5<br/>value for money 3/5

I had been there for dinner .<br/>The ambience is good with a mellow music playing in background. They also have some organic veggies for sale.<br/>I had ordered a pad Thai rice which was like fired rice only 😣 and the quantity was also too less.<br/>But the sweet dish was awesome,it was a moong dal sweet dish ,with the just right amount of sweetness it was a different and tasty preparation.<br/>

One of the best Asian cuisine restaurants near Marriott, Panjim.<br/>Well mannered and knowledgeable staff. Great food ofcourse. Overall a fine place to have some good food and service provided you have the taste buds for the same. Great work guys!!!

Had been having amazing experience at this place. This was our constant go to place for Oriental cuisine, special mention to the Chicken dumplings (they're probably the best I've ever had) and Thai green curry. But one bad experience kinda ruined everything. It was a special occasion and we wanted to try Sushi. Having enquired about a partical sushi dish I had cleary mentioned to the waiter that we needed more time to decide and we would order later. And we did end up ordering a different dish. But the waiter gets the dish I had enquired about earlier and on explaining that we never ordered the dish and to please take it back, he claimed that the dish is now made and we will have to accept it. Wasnt even apologetic. Since my family urged me not to make a scene we quitely accepted and proceeded with our dinner. I understand it was a misunderstanding on the waiters part inspite of telling clearly, but he could have confirmed later if not take the dish back. Sucks to be let down by a place close to our hearts. Rude service. They'll definitely be losing a regular customer.

Our search for a great Chinese food joint in Goa has come to an end, place serves delicious Chinese and Thai food, good spread, peaceful location, courteous staff and lovely owner, she ensured we were comfortable. We ordered dimsusms, spring roll, exotic veggies in a sesame gravy and burnt garlic rice and couple of soupsz everything was flavourful and delicious. definitely coming back. Thank you :)

Nice place but small portion, had chicken red curry taste was very good but there was very little vegetables and hardly no chicken . First time I left a Thai restaurant hungry.

Amazing food. Authentic Thai cuisine with a lot of variety. Feels like you are in Thailand ordering food in a local restaurant.<br/>Dew is a wonderful host.<br/>

One of the best places for thai cuisine in panjim. Every item we tasted was too good and to perfection. Quantity is rather small for the price but very authentic. Definitely recommend to all thai food lovers. Must try their desserts too.

Nestled in a lane perpendicular to the Goa Marriott resort and spa is Thai restaurant taking you on a culinary trip to parts of Thailand besides having an extensive Thai menu they also have a separate menu for Chinese food.<br/><br/>For starters we had the fish cakes, chicken satay and dragon chicken which were decent enough to accompany our beers. Their Tom-yum soup is one of its best of its kind and can be a healer in times of cold and flu. For main course course we had prawn Thai green curry and the chicken krapow with jasmine rice. Besides giving full marks to the Tom yum soup overall a decent dining experience fairly ok food. One thing worth a mention is that every ingredient that goes in the food is freshly sourced.
Rishiraj Mallick
Good Food. Had ordered Tom yum soup, a crispy fried duck dish and another dish with grilled beef strips.. (Sorry, the names were not easy to be remembered) The Tom Yum soup was mediocre. Favourite dish was the duck meat one. Very fresh flavours and well cooked meat. The beef on grill was decent as well but the meat didn't have flavours in it as such. It was just served with a soy sauce concoction. Overall good taste but pricey for the portion size.

6/6/18<br/>after site seeing thought of going on evening stroll and wandering few streets got across this place loved da ambience from outside so here's the review after having dinner.!<br/><br/>food :<br/>Jasmine thai rice in squid . I was just here. They place is good, the staff are helpful even if you're clueless about which Thai dish you would like to have.<br/><br/>I'd like to say this is one of the tastiest Thai food I've come across, they have chinese food as well, if you prefer something spicier.<br/><br/>All over, it's a great place to go with friends and family.

Staying at the Marriott and arriving late at night, this was our closest option.<br/><br/>We ordered 2 beers, 2 Thai dishes and 2 Chinese dishes. The food tasted authentic, however the portions were minuscule. The spices, herbs, and vegetables used are grown in their own farm in Goa, not imported from Thailand - so the prices seem even more extortionate. The bill for 3 people for the above 6 items was around 2400, that's an average of 400 per item.<br/><br/>The waiters were far too busy and getting their attention took quite some time. It seems as if more tables have been crammed than required, and this takes out the fine dine feel. Also it gets noisy, being Goa, drinks are definitely on the menu. Although the food was good, the vibe was lukewarm - the waiters felt rushed, and it was an impersonal experience.<br/><br/>All in all, a one time visit worth experience. And probably the best and only option for people staying at the Marriott who want to dine out at a walking distance.
Indulala Indu
Wide variety of Thai and Chinese dishes. Got to learn some new tongue twisting names of dishes. Really glad the menu comes with pictures. Overall good ambience and food was ok too!
The Crazy Foodie
We ordered the Tom Yum Soup Bowl (chicken), there are other options too. The soup was nice and light, just the way a soup is meant to be. Very light and flavorful. The flavours of the fresh herbs would leave a beautiful sensation on your taste buds. The price of the Tom Yum was 120/- per bowl. For the entree we ordered the 'Gang Khiawwan' that's the Thai Hot Green Curry. This too has the option of veg and non veg. And sticky rice to accompany the curry. So we ordered the chicken curry, the curry and sticky rice go well together. It's a perfect match. The subtle heat of the chillies just add to the flavor of the curry. And unlike some food, this was very flavorful and light. The price of the curry was 300/- and it served two people. The overall bill came to around rupees 800/- for two. The ambience of the place is very Thai. The music the lighting creates a very soothing mood and allows you to enjoy the food and your partners company. The staff is very kind and courteous. They always have a smile on and help you with any kind of difficulty. The only drawback of this place though is the network. It has a poor network which may or may not be a hindrance for your time there. Over all it's a good place to visit, it is affordable and the food is very good too.
TheSavoringChef
A good place to eat but please don't expect authentic Thai or Chinese food. the ambience could be much better but the place overall is nice.

I judge a Thai place by the most loved thai preparation of Pad Thai noodles..I had heard about this place serving authentic Thai food with organic vegetables etc. it did not live up to the expectations. I've had much better pad thai noodles even in Goa. this was lacked the balance of flavours and also didn't have the saucy feel of the authentic preparation. they might have other better items on the menu but I will think before giving it another shot<br/>
Diary Of Green Spoons
This place offers authentic thai and chinese food. Being a vegetarian I usually don't like to eat at these places as I smell something very peculiar in the gravies mainly because they serve large varities of non veg dishes. But to my surprise, the thai curry and veg noodles were extrmely delicious and the veggies in it were very fresh and tasty. I finished all of it in one go.

This place in Panaji offers you an authentic Thai menu with both non vegetarian as well as vegetarian options. It is a pretty decent and small restaurant with interiors done keeping the Thai and Chinese theme in mind. The food tastes amazing and light too. A must visit place if you are in Panaji and want to try some different food.

Awesome location, very near to the beach and a must visit place to try some good Thai cuisines. Pork starters were very tasty. The hospitality shown by the service staff is worth remembering. Cheers.

Hands down some of the best Thai you get out of Thailand, the 5 spice chicken, shrimp green curry and the morning glory which the owner grows herself are amazing and make me go back again and again, the pad Thai unfortunately is below average and the tom yum rice lacked punch. The only downside honestly is the service and time taken for the food to get to the table. So -5 for that.

Thai food in Goa then it has to be Thai N Wok. <br/><br/>The place is designed with a lot of thought and serves authentic Thai cuisine. The owners have a farm where they grow all the required ingredients for Thai food. <br/><br/>The menu comes with an image of each dish, simplifying the process of selected this dishes. The staff is extremely courteous and service quick.<br/><br/>The place is usually less crowded. <br/><br/>Try their momos, chicken noodles, green thai curry. A great find and foodie's delight!!

The worst ever experience in Goa at a Thai restaurant , we visited this restaurant the second time to our travel to Goa and are disgusted with our experience , I was with my wife Sarah , we ordered some prawn dish which firstly was served cold hence we sent it back and the Thai lady got it back saying she heated it , when I served my second helping there was a cockroach which came in the serving in my plate , at the beginning I thought I was imagining it , but then it was a reality ,so we called the Thai lady who called the owner , and to top it all the Owner who I think is the most arrogant and unapologetic restauranteur ( doesn't deserve to be in this kind of business ) implied that we planted the cockroach in our food , this was just too ridiculous , will recommend never to visit such unhygienic and appalling restaurant run by unprofessional owner .👎 <br/>They did not acknowledge nor accept that there was a cockroach in the food they served , i have attached the pic and the bill for the dishes we ordered. <br/>
Sarah
This was our second visit here and we quickly noticed that they could not handle busy periods. Our food came with a cockroach in it! When we asked to speak to the owner he was rude and implied that we planted a fried cockroach in the dish. He also said he would verify it on his camera. We are shocked by the arrogance of this owner who refused to apologise or compensate for anything. We paid the bill in full and walked out worried for our health. A word of advice - please stay away from this filthy restaurant especially as the owner thinks his customers bring cockroaches to his restaurant and plant it into the food and are still happy to pay 2000 ruppees for a dish. The restaurant doesn't take any responsibility for whatsoever. Really sad that a place like Goa has such people running restaurants.

Best Thai food in Goa. The tom yum soup is to die for, the green curry and garlic prawns are just also. Also another dish which I could recommend is the papaya salad. Most of the vegetables are grown locally and are very fresh.

I did not try Thai at this place, only Chinese food and it was to my surprise very tasty just like a typical Indian Chinese food like the one you get at @Stomach2 in Mumbai. If you’re stuck locally then you can definitely give this place a try. It’s not at all bad.

Poor service... Waiters did not acknowledge one's presence.. Waited for 15 min n walked out as no one came in to take our order.. Bad experience

The food was really tasty.. Ambiance was nice.. Service was also superfast... And the best part was abt their menu card in which they had provided the photos of the dishes wch helped a lot... 😄

Great place to be at. The food is on point and so is the service <br/>Got a cool ambience too<br/>Tried the momos and the noodles( stil can't get the name of those😂) but overall it was really great

Fast Service , Friendly staff , Great ambiance. Only grievance would be the items which come on a grill tend to become dry as time goes by. Apart from this hiccup , the foods just fantastic. Their Tom Yum Soup is worth dying for. <br/>

Food is very average. Not worth a try. Please skip. The staff run around like headless chickens. I had to get up and pick up napkins and cutlery from a table at the side.

Awesome food and great variety of cocktails. Must try drunken monk. Rolls and momos are very tasty. It will not disappoint you. Staff is very nice

The Thai food here was good. The staff was quite knowledgeable on taste of dishes which helped. May give it a try since not many Thai options are present.

The food authentic Thai food was extremely well made. Otherwise there were some issues with the sauces and other things. The quantities were quite good.
Leroy Veloso
Great place, the starters were satay, dimsum both pork and prawn. Main course were a combination of beef, chicken and pork dishes. Child friendly place. Portions a bit too small, but wholesome food. Closed on thursdays and they now accept card. Will definitely go there again especially with  their reasonable rates and friendly staff,
Tina Yuvanshi
Prawns cake (their version of a prawn cutlet) quite tasty<br/>Soup was good <br/>Honey chicken ( from their chinese menu )<br/>And chicken fried rice were a good combo.<br/>The presentation of the menu gives the feel of a thai street food joint

The food was tasty and healthy . It was a total value of money .It was a wonderful experience and it had a great ambience to just missed the fact that they had no cappuccino post the amazing meal

A small little restaurant tucked away in a cozy Miramar alleyway that serves food that will make you think and devour at the same time<br/><br/>The food was stunning. The staff was amazing! They were kind, courteous and knew the menu inside out to make relevant suggestions. The drinks menu was overpriced. (But you go here for the food, not for the drinks anyway so it doesn't matter) . <br/><br/>Food - <br/><br/>Thai prawn spring rolls - The best spring rolls I've had anywhere in India. And trust me I've had a lot in many cities. The sweet chilli sauce it was served with was another revelation. It made my taste buds dance.<br/><br/>A noodle dish with prawns and veggies whose name I've sadly forgotten - The highlight of my meal. <br/><br/>Chicken Krapow - Rice with minced chicken. Another stunner, my meal companion's fav dish of the night. I'm not sure which kind of rice is traditionally served with it but I would have preferred sticky rice.<br/><br/>I'll definitely return again. Sakana for Japanese and Thai and Wok for Thai (although they have a separate Chinese menu also) are my Asian food favs in India. <br/>
Manvendra Siwach
Treasure of a restaurant, tucked away in one of the serene corners of Panjim. Highly recommended for lovers of pan asian cuisine. Try anyrhing you won't be disappointed. The menu features photos of all dishes on fare, but the pics really don't do justice. The dishes are much better looking in reality.

What I love about Thai and Wok is how authentically Thai they are with the delicious food as well as the way the restaurant is done up. Thai and Wok grow their own vegetables special to the Thai cuisine which makes the flavor of their food extra devouring.  The raw Papaya salad is utterly refreshing and the rice paper rolls too is something you would not want to miss. The Thai curries and the sticky rice is so light and wonderful.  I do wish the portions were a little bigger though. Last but not the least is their dessert which is all spot on from the Honey noodles with ice cream, the date pancake and sizzling fried ice cream with chocolate sauce.
Hari Pudipeddi
Fantastic Thai place. Wonderful food and service. It's a very cute little place and you will certain enjoy their Spring Rolls. We are vegetarians and they had quite a few options and they have been very good.

Been on an Oriental spree lately and so Thai And Wok was definitely on the list !<br/><br/>Nice , quaint Thai restaurant situated in a little bylane of Miramar. Typical oriental ambience inside complete with the instrumental music from the far east (which can get repetitive), but does not intrude. I particularly love the fresh veggie display that is grown in the owner's backyard for use in the restaurant. Neat!<br/><br/>Starters:<br/>Pandan leaf wrapped chicken wings :<br/>Thai spiced deep fried chicken wings, nothing special.. Expected it to be fragrant with the pandan but both seemed fried to a crisp.<br/><br/>Prawn Seafood Dimsum : minced seafood flavoured with spring onions and coriander , which ends up masking the actual taste of fresh seafood. The covering was also a pale yellow but nicely shaped. Maida also seems to be used in the outer wrap.<br/><br/>Mains:<br/><br/>Ka Prao chicken: Thai chilly spiced chicken mince topped with crisp basil , Thai chilli and beans. Served with "jasmine sticky rice. "<br/><br/>A delicious choice with lovely Thai flavours , not overly spiced.<br/><br/>Meat stuffed omelette: chicken mince in a sweet and sour gravy neatly enclosed in a fried omelette. Very beautiful to look at and quite nice in flavour. I love the way the meat and gravy was successfully contained within the omelette. Served with " sticky jasmine rice."<br/><br/>Dessert :<br/><br/>Bananas in a sweet coconut sauce.<br/>The highlight of the meal. Semi soft banana chunks in a rich, warm. , sweet coconut sauce. Spot on!<br/><br/>The biggest spot on this experience would be basmati rice served instead of sticky jasmine rice with the wait staff insisting the long, fine grains basmati was a type of Thai jasmine rice. Rather, a simple admission of error/non availability would be appreciated.<br/><br/>There exist better Thai options in the neighbourhood.<br/><br/>Overall, a good value meal, friendly staff and nice Thai ambience.<br/><br/>

The food is fabulous and so is the service. It's the little inconsistencies that are disappointing. Since the owners grow their vegetables, we were treated to a beautiful, fresh salad the first time we went. The next time, it wasn't the right season, so no salad on the table. The dishes are single serves, so don't plan on sharing. We did eat out of each other's plates, though, and loved it!

This restaurant had Great food, kind service and was value for money<br/>The flavours were on pointe. The phad was good and the drinks were fair enough.

Nice little place for dining. Good decour along with good service. Visited this place for lunch. Food was good. Visit this place for good Chinese food.<br/>Had the <br/>dragon phoenix soup -> v good, <br/>wontons -> good, <br/>burned garlic rice with a gravy suggested by staff -> good.<br/><br/>Msg for management : Would be nice to have some soft music playing.

Cute little place with very nice food. The service is great and the staff is friendly. If not anything else, I would definitely recommend to go here just to have the tom yum soup. It bursts with flavour. The prices are good too. <br/>Good food at a good price.
Nihar Madkaiker
Amazing place. Must try for Thai and chinese food if you are in goa. The ambience is pretty good. The rates are reasonable. And the food is really good. We asked the waiter himself to suggest us the dishes and they were really amazing. Must try the Thai ice cream for dessert.
Arun Britto
When we got there, the place was full and we had to wait for a bit, but the food was definitely worth the wait. <br/>Ambience of the place is very soothing and calm. The staff are polite and very helpful. <br/>We started with Tom klong soup bowls which is absolutely bursting with flavour. I did not expect the unique depth of flavour that it had. The bits of chicken were juicy and veggies still had a nice crunch. It was incredibly refreshing and had me wanting for a bigger bowl of the same. <br/>Next we had the steamed chicken tung tong, which are basically wontons thai style. They were good and light. <br/>Appetizers continued with Dragon chicken. This dish was delicious and flavorful. The crunchy cashew bits added a good addition to the texture of the dish. <br/>We finished it off with pork spare ribs which were really juicy and literally falling off the bone. The meat was cooked very well and was delicious to say the least. <br/>All in all this place is an excellent bang for your buck in flavour, quality and quantity. <br/>

If you want to try Thai food, this is the best place. We love visiting this restaurant for their authentic fresh flavours. Thr best thing I like about Thai food is that unlike Indo-Chinese food, it is not too heavy on your tummy. This is because their gravies are not thick and the cuisine offers various types of stir fries which are so flavoursome.<br/>Here are our personal favorites when we dine here:<br/>Soups:<br/>Tom yum soup- It's a very tasty coconut based soup with lemon grass. Thai n wok offers a soup bowl as well as a hot pot option when you order soups. So if yours is a group of 4, then ordering a hot pot makes more sense.<br/>Starters:<br/>Chicken satay- I love the dip they serve with this starter. The presentation is also unique and the chicken is always cooked to perfection. A must try when you are here.<br/>Salads:<br/>Yam Ta Kaai- Hot Thai salad with lemon grass & cashew nuts<br/>Yam Woon Sen- Thai Hot & sour glass noodle salad<br/>Pha Gung- Shrimp Hot & Sour Thai salad with herbs<br/>Main Course:<br/>Stir fried chicken with cashew nuts & dried chilly<br/>Thai Hot green curry & rice<br/>Phad Thai<br/>As you can see above, whenever we visit this place we try to stick to a Thai menu as Indo-Chinese is available at a lot of places and I feel Thai cuisine is the forte of this place.<br/>Overall, this place offers good ambience and the staff is also knowledgeable. Must visit for Thai cuisine!<br/><br/>

Mon frère (my brother) wanted to try a different cuisine so as I glanced through Zomato, I came across Thai and wok. The name sounded interesting so we decided to try some Thai food coz why not.. Goa is filled with places to try different cuisine that might suit your palate. Anyway, took us a while to find this place. Street parking. This place had a very interesting ambience. Mild fragrance lingering in the air. Thai food is known for its lemongrass and coconut milk soups, curry etc. So the brother ordered Tom yum soup. The menu was interesting which made no sense to us which made it difficult for us to decide our food. After analysing it, we ordered tempura fried prawns, chicken satay (with an unusual presentation) and fried wonton. Food was delicious. Peanut butter dip was tasty. The chilly drink was good too <br/>Lastly dessert.. I don't remember the name but it was some banana with coconut milk. I swear I wish I could take back those 120 Rs back. It wasn't good at all. Even a child would prepare better dessert. <br/>Anyway.. Would surely recommend this restaurant for the food only. (not dessert)

Delicious food and welcoming staff! The service was prompt and the food served was lip smacking. Portions could be bigger though! The general ambience at the restaurant is easy going and comfortable. All in all an enjoyable dinner experience.

This restaurant is located on your way to the Goa Marriott Hotel and serves some delicious Thai food. My first visit to this place wasn't that good but my recent visit, made me not want to stop eating the food at the restaurant. At the beginning of our meal we had the Tom Kha, Tom Klong and Tom Yum (which was delicious as the preparation of all the soups has coconut base and Coz of that they were rich in taste). We followed that with the Plapad Prik Thai Dum (this is the stir fry prawn or chicken in black pepper & bell chilli, we had this dish in both the prawn and chicken. This dish was well prepared but I felt that there were too many veggies in the dish as against the hero of the dish i.e. Chicken or prawn), Chicken Satay (the presentation was a bit different but the dish was really good), chicken dim sum and Papaya Salad (the dim sum and salad was good) for Starters. We followed the starters with the Phad Thai and Phad Ka Pao for the Main Course (which tasted like authentic Thai Food). For desert we had the honey tossed noodles with ice cream. My overall experience at this place was very satisfactory. The ambience of the place is quintessentially Thai and the service is very cordial and courteous. The pricing of the dishes also was reasonable. We would surely visit this place again for the above stated dishes.

This place is ideal for people who love Thai food. Thai and Wok serves food that's very close to authentic Thai cuisine. One of the few places in Goa that serves authentic Thai food. Lovely soups. Loved the Tom Yum, Tom Kha and Tom Klong. The chicken satay was good. The stir fried prawns and chicken were both good. Pad Thai was good but a little too lemony. Liked the Phad Ka Pao too. They make good crabs too. In dessert I loved the honey tossed noodles with ice cream. The ambience here is great and staff is friendly. Service is prompt and the food is reasonably priced.

The restuarant is decently placed a little away from the busy Panjim city, at miramar just next to Goa Marriott's. So parking isn't a issue of sorts. I had been there in the afternoons and I can assure, you can walk in without a reservation and get a seat without any hassles. The ambience is wonderful and rich with display of vegetables just at the entrance. The staff is well trained and courteous. The food too is awesome and there is a Chinese and Thai option. We had a sizzling lamb and Chicken dumplings for starters, and for main course rice and red Thai curry. Everything was amazing, even the sauces. The pricing is the only thing that can deter me from going there more frequently.

This place came as a surprise. Entered with no expectations and enjoyed and scenery delicious meal. Very reasonable rates for the variety offered. Great service.

The ambience is very good. They have a display of some authentic Thai ingredients. The staff is well trained n well behaved. The cocktail was very bad the pink lady Proportion was wrong I guess to strong and I can only taste gin. The food is very good. The lemon coriander soup was excellent. The honey Hunan chicken was too sweet equal to sweet dish so not happy with that particular dish. Rest was all good .

This is small little restaurant set on the ground floor of an old building. Few tables, less guests and the best of food is how I would explain this place. <br/><br/>For the Asian cuisine lovers, they actually import Morning Glory from Thailand and serve made to perfection. <br/><br/>The best that I really loved here were the dim sums and pad-Thai noodles.. Delicious is the word.
Xreya Arur
My top favourite place for authentic Thai food in Panjim! Even their menus are exactly like the ones you would find in Thailand. They have 2 separate menus for their Thai and Chinese dishes.<br/><br/>One my most recent visit, we had their Dragon Phoenix and Manchow soups, deep fried prawns, fried chicken wontons and chicken satay.<br/><br/>Apart from those, my favourites include Prawn Tom Yum soup, Mussels in Thai herbs and sauces, garlic pepper prawns, thai curries, morning glory veggies and the spicy seafood salad. A special mention to all the side sauces.<br/>I suggest you stick to the Thai menu because every thing on it is absolutely delicious, freshly made and very authentic. Be careful when you order for spicy/ extra spicy- those little chillies can make you breathe fire! I've heard their desserts are great too, haven't tried yet- if you do, let me know how they are

Been to this place a year back, the food is authentic and simple. Quantity is very small just enuf for 2 if youre a poor eater. I give it 3 stars only as the food was good nothing extraordinary. Also I found it overpriced.

One of the best restraunts serving Thai and Chinese cuisine under one roof. The food is simple yet delicious. The Banana desert in warm coconut milk was totaly yummy...

I love this place; The food is delicious and flavourful, the 'sweet and sour pork' leaves your mouth tingling for more, while the cooked beef just melts in your mouth... Yummy! The ambiance is pleasant and the staff, amicable. I am definitely eating here again! :)
Samira Sukhatme
This place was not up to my expectation. The Thai red curry was too sweet than normal. The steamed rice served was basmati rice. The steamed dumplings weren't ever impressive either. Won't be visiting here again for sure.

Thai and wok is ideally located if you are around Panjim and craving for some delicious Thai food. Ever smiling and helpful staff combined with yummy Thai food and soft music playing in the background is indeed a recipe for success! 👌

Very very authentic Thai food. Reminded me of my time in Thailand! Probably the best Pad Thai I have eaten. The dumpling and the accompanying sauces are heavenly. The vegetarian red Thai curry is a must try. The Tom yum soup and veg dumplings are excellent.

Not a fan of Thai food. But, I loved their Thai ice-cream. And, loved the songs that lady was singing during evening, her voice was great. service is great. overall, awesome experience.

visited this place after reading the rave reviews on Zomato. But we were disappointed by food taste.<br/>We had the chicken satay for starter.. all would say is i have had better Satay then this in a lot of other places in Goa.<br/>For mains we had the Green Thai curry and the server recommended sticky rice. disappointed with the rice and the curry was also very spicy...<br/>Good friendly staff but food can be better...
Jonas Pereira
The food was awesome really loved it best Chinese in Goa by far..would have preferred if serving was done a little bit quicker but hey I got to practice chopsticks so can have no complaints it was a good dinner..

Reason im givin it 4 stars n not 5 is coz they dint have home delivery and home take away is like 45 mins wait..as they dont do that too..But the Food.. Omg .. is yummmmmilicious..i cant explain how yumm it was.So while sittin n waitin for our order we go thru the menu to order and its a lil confusing..but i noticed 1 rather unusual thing is that the menu has pics of the dishes besides it and its a great way fr ppl to know wht they r gona be eatn..Also another great thing is that the vegetables and stuff are all home grown organic so it gives that added yumm flavor..So..we ordered a crab soup while waiting for our take away..and the owner saw we had a kid.. and so she got her a colouring pic and some crayons..twas soo nice.. so our soup came and it was filled with crab meat..it was So yumm.. then agtr we reached home we tried the pork ribs in Barbeque sauce and hunan sauce.. Both were jus out of this world.. Amazingly tasty Food..we also.ordered the thai green curry and a red Coconut based curry..with some crab meat rice and some burt garlic rice.. all the food was jus yum.<br/> Wasnt ur typical thai food.. it was like fresh ..yumm and so tasty..Check it out

My fav thai restaurant in Panjim. Have visited with friends, for a business lunch and also with my family. Open lunch and dinner. A busy place on weekends - thai and wok is a little slow during peak hours with service. Theres one thing here -  thai food is generally non vegetarian / sauces are usually non - veg as well. Tom yum and Tom kha soups are my suggestions. Som tum is a must try - papaya salad. I normally order it every single time i visit. My usual main course is white rice with some piping hot thai curry. Pha Nang.. overall value for money - awesome quality - great taste. Authentic Thai food  - look no place else.

This restaurant is on the way to Goa Marriot hotel, easy to find, right off the main road to Miramar beach. Nice decor and seating indoors and outdoors.<br/><br/>Food has a good authentic taste to it. We went for lunch and had papaya salad, stir fried chicken in oyster sauce and Thai curry with steamed rice.<br/>Service is excellent with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food arrived quickly.<br/>Taste 4.5/5<br/>Value for money 3.5/5<br/>Ambience 4.5/5<br/><br/>I'd recommend this to anyone looking for good non 'Indianised' Thai food.

Authentic Thai Food. The service is fantastic. And the owner goes out of her way to make sure you are having a good meal. Highly recommended.
Esha Nadkarni
The pan fried chilli cottage cheese starter was lip smacking and the chicken satay was a refreshing change. The gong khiowwon Thai curry stole my heart. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was extremely courteous but the quantity of the dishes was a let down. The quantity is less especially with the starters. But if you are in the mood for authentic Thai food, this is the place to go to.
Anuradha Atrawalkar
We were full and wanted to have some light snacks. So we dropped down here for soup and starters. We tried the Chinese menu and the taste was really authentic. Seafood soup and pan fried chilli fish were really tasty. The staff was very friendly and great service.
Ian Robert Herechuk
Very nice flavoursome food, with authenticity. Tom Yum soup in particular had that sweet and spicy flavour you associate with Thai food. Service was however only average at best, with minimal interaction and no suggestions.
Rachna
Great Service.. Pleasant ambience.. However their food ain't worthy of the the price they charge. Could have been a little bit more creative since they grow their own herds as claimed by them. Overall not a bad place for a quite dinner time. Added plus: A smoking zone

Nice staff and well prepared authentic food. The ingredients were fresh and the aroma was fabulous. The staff is courteous and my one year old son was so well looked after. The food had nice balance of Texture, flavour and taste. Would certainly go again.

Situated just off the main road in Miramar, Thai n Wok has parking in streets nearby. There's an indoor and outdoor seating arrangement, the decor is dark and tasteful. The staff is informed and very friendly. We ordered a chicken satay, deep fried prawns, phad ka pao (fried rice with egg), chicken dumplings, beef mini barbecue and honey tossed noodles with ice cream. The food here is distinctive in its authentic Thai taste which is an acquired taste in its sweet and sour, vinegary taste which is evident in the sauces and rice dishes. The meat was decently cooked, but the beef was pretty dry. The rice dishes, I love but a friend did not. The ice cream wasn't very rich and slightly soft and the noodles weren't well made. But the friendly staff makes up for any lacunae.
Charmaine DeSouza
The food! So authentic and bursting with flavour. Everything we ate here has been amazing. Well plated and presented. It's a little on the expensive side but definitely worth a visit every once in a while. Great service and ambiance. Nice music to add to the entire feel of the place. Decor is tasteful. If you feel like you're in need of good food and a relaxing evening, this is definitely a good choice!
