Love the burgers over here. Cafe basil never disappoints me. Ate chicken burger here after 6 months and the taste and quantity is just the same. Love the chicken patty and fries the most. Also sorry their cold coffee. It’s so thick and tasty. My friend tried the veg burger and it was good too. Their service is nice and the ambience too.
The beef steak served with some boiled veggies, mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes at @cafebasil is super delicious! The tenderness of beef is a treat itself and it’s perfectly cooked. The beauty of the steak was the gravy which bestowed an array of flavours and enhanced the whole dish. It was savoury sweet, creamy & slightly spicy also the mushrooms made it interesting.

Love the Boho ambiance of this place. It reminds me of the contemporary cafe’s in the US. A good place to hangout with friends. The best past is that the place is very casual where there are books to read, colours to paint and board games to play. Not to forget the guitar! Coming to the food, all the dishes that I’ve tasted are simply amazing. The best ones are the BBQ Burger, MCR, Cheesy fries. You can also try the chicken fingers. I love the Mojito out here. Their paneer BBQ burger is to die for! Oozing with BBQ sauce and a nice, thick slab of paneer, it's totally VFM. The sandwiches are good, too. The veg burgers (have only tried those since I'm vegetarian) are so good that I periodically get cravings for them! Very affordable food and drinks. Superb cafe overall!

A place with amazing vibes and feel at home seating. The place is around 750 m from Miramar beach and the entrance tucked under greenery. If that's not welcoming, the food is the icing on the cake. Lots of food some with very creative names. Like the Goa Meat Complex burger simply called GMC and GST which is the Ginger Spice Tea.
The vegetarians will not be disappointed with lot veg fare. My fav the burger with poi (Goan bun made everyday). Shakes and other hot teas and coffees are available too. The vibes from art and music of the ages are well represented in the pictures on the wall.

Yet again we visited Cafe Basil as we were flattered by the place on our previous visit.
So this time we thought of trying out some steaks and burgers. Also, we could not get enough of the chocolate shake so we ordered it again!
The chocolate shake was thick with loads of chocolate, an untimely relish we've never had anywhere else.
The chicken BBQ burger was accompanied with french fries which were crispy. (A thumbs up to them for making least oily fries)
Well, the mayo was perfectly balanced with some acidity and a dash of mint that gave a good flavour.
The burger had chicken breast pieces which were nicely cooked and juicy, the onions were perfectly caramelized and the BBQ sauce was delicious. All in all the burger was delightful. The beef steak was sided with some boiled veggies and mashed potatoes. The steak had just the right texture, neither under or overcooked. The beauty of the steak was the gravy which bestowed an array of flavours and enhanced the whole dish. It was savoury sweet, creamy and slightly spicy also the bits of mushroom made it interesting.

Ordered the bacon and cheesy fries everyone was talking about and got to know why. It was amazing, full of flavors and just perfect. Had ice tea and fresh lime. The ice tea had the right amount of sweetness. Ordered an chicken burger the burger buns was the local Goan bread an idea or risk taken and very well customize to turn into a burger. The pattie was not too dry. The fries complimenting it had the right amount of crispyness to it and served along with their home made mint-mayo to go with it.

And chicken fingers. Perfectly fried chicken fingers come alongside with a dip. And also the cheesy fries are something all cheese lovers should surely try. They taste amazing. They also have some delicious sandwiches, pastas and a fries to choose from. Also their chocolate with ice cream is delicious as the brownie is soft, moist and gooey.

This cafe is a cute little set up, situated in the interior of panjim, perfect for a recreational evening snack. Along with some delicious snacks you get a variety of indoor recreational activities to choose from. We had the BBQ chicken sandwich, cheesy fries, cafreal pao and cold coffee shake. The orders may take a few time to arrive, but are definitely worth the wait. The cold coffee shake is strongly recommended and one of my favorites in Panjim. The BBQ chicken sandwich can be ordered as a burger as well and the filling is absolutely flavorful. As I work in Panjim I visit this place often after work.

First thing which impressed me was the Ambience and set up. A best place to spend quality time alone. It is a guarantee that you will be engaged either with the books or with the guitar.
Secondly, the food and the creative choice of menu displayed on the board. Was really impressed with the way each dish was named. Eg. Holy fuck burger and especially virgin Mojitto. A group of 5 ordered beef steak burger, bbq chicken burger and a chicken steak. Every dish tasted really good and was totally filling.

This place has been my go-to since it opened! Love their vanilla milkshake. Perfectly thick and tasty. Order whatever you want, be assured it will be yummy. The location has changed and the new one doesn't really have the same vibe but the food is still yummy. Vanilla milkshake, chicken fingers, bbq burger and mojito are some of my most favourites. This cafe is a quite popular Cafe among the youngsters. The food here tastes amazing pricing of some items is reasonable though few items are a bit overpriced. Speaking more about their food, so far I have tried their food items mentioned in the pictures. The chicken burger, fries, chicken mayo sandwich is a delightful feast for your taste buds. The mocha though was a little disappointing. Overall it is a must visit Cafe when in Panaji.

This is an all time go to place. End up going here with my friends every time I think of going to a new place due to the amazing food. It's a really comfortable place as well as affordable for a student to be at with the best quantity food for that price range. Must try their Pasta as well their burgers. If you are vegetarian and looking for good continental food, this cafe is a must try one. We had veg burger and veg grilled sandwich and they both were amazing. Run by two brothers, one of them being chef, it’s a peaceful place with two gentlemen’s.

Was pleasantly surprised by the food at this little diner- great burgers with well seasoned, well-cooked meat and such generous portions! The ambience is laid back and chilled out, a local hang-out joint filled with a very young crowd-so everything is great value for money. Fresh, well spiced fries and good lemonade- we only had the huge beef burgers, will definitely go back to try the milkshakes and desserts. (Big thumbs up cos they use paper straws)
Good atmosphere, more known for it's ambience than food, it's the perfect place to hang out. It's menu can be improved yet everything that's currently on it tastes great.
We tried the burgers, Ham and Bacon sandwhich, vanilla shake, mojito, sweet lime soda, cheesy fries, chicken fingers and cheese sandwhich. They all definitely delivered and where great value for money.
My only negative would be that they could refins the menu options a little.

Let me start with the burgers first, yummy meaty goodness! Absolutely love these two burgers at Cafe Basil in Tonca, Panjim. The GMC Burger and the Holy Fuck Burger are the perfect burgers to satisfy your killer cravings within a decent budget. Both priced at 300, the GMC comes with a beef patty, caramelized onions, ham, cheese and a fried egg while the Holy Fuck comes with 2 beef patties, 2 layers of bacon, cheese and caramelized onions. They come served with seasoned fries and mayo dip.
I also love the creamy white sauce pasta with mushrooms and their sandwiches like the grilled cheese, BLT, Mushroom and chicken and more! Their Big S sandwich is my favourite one on the menu and is absolutely killer! I also love their quite potent and steaming hot masala tea. I've heard some mixed reviews from people about Cafe Basil. But I've been here numerous times and in all those times I have nothing but positive reviews and excellent quality food. So massive thumbs up from me ♥️
