Best service but I didn't liked the taste of fish as it was not fresh. I liked chicken dishes specially chicken bhatkal.

It is absolutely superb. I have never tasted few dishes we have tried this good anywhere. Totally authentic and apparently uses their own spice blends. The owners take pride in their work and keeping high standards.Very nice place. Good food. It is in the heart of the city. When we visit Panjim we always go to this restaurant to enjoy GHEE CRAB ROAST. This is not a dish from menu but they give it. It is the best.

We were here for a weekend lunch. The ambience was great and the staff were nice enough. We had only seafood here and we enjoyed it!!! We started off with a king fish fry which was excellent. The star of the show was definitely the fish thali, quantities were generous and tastes were great. The real shocker was when we saw the bill. This place is incredibly good value.

The food is delicious. They have each and every kind of non- vegetarian food. The ambiance and services are pretty good. They have very smoothing beverages one must try. The mocktail is refreshing. Overall the environment is good.

I recently visited this place with my family.Loved the food out here. This place serves authentic manglorean food which is indeed finger licking good. Cheers to Mr.Chetan and his better half for keeping the standards upto the mark.

Parking is an issue in this area.<br/><br/>Food: This restaurant is well known for their Bhatkal Biryanis. The taste of the food is good here. We had virgin mojito which however wasn't upto the mark, since it had more sugar dissolved in it. Chonak rawa fry was very thin and crisp and delicious. The fish was fried very nicely. We slso had french fries, which were perfect. Chicken ghee roast was an amazing dish( as per my colleagues). Prawn biryani was also good. I had ordered bhatkal biryani once on a food delivery app and it is also good.<br/><br/>Service: The staff is very friendly. I have tried their prawns bhatkal biryani. Its different as compared to other authentic biryanis. I really loved the flavors. It was rich and sufficient.

I visited Casa Moderna because I was craving good Mangalorean Food, while in Goa. I must say, everything that I tried here was delicious. It's great to have an authentic Mangalore cuisine restaurant in the middle of Panjim.<br/><br/>The Chicken Ghee Roast was my favorite! The masala was spot on and it was cooked perfectly.

Crab ghee roast is my THE FAVOURITE dish at casa moderna. It is deliciously finger licking. Try it out. I had gone here with my friends and the ambience is soothing.

All those who love seafood try out pomfret tandoori fry , it's so spicy. People who love spicy dishes try out this dish. There are variety of other seafood dishes which are different.

The ambience is very nice. It is very good place to try out seafood and they have variety of seafood. Try out their crab ghee roast, it's very nice.

Went there after checking reviews from Zomato. The place is very calm and staff is nice. We tried chicken xacuti, chicken ghee roast and butter naan. Food was value for money and the portions were sufficient. A great choice if you want good Goan food in budget. Another plus point is that it stays open till 11 pm. Only regret is that we could not have their fish thali which they only serve in lunch.

Casa Moderns has never disappointed me with its Chicken Cafreal. Although the thali here is quite average, one should try the king fish rava fry. It's one of the best in the capital city besides some other places.

This is a lovely place in Panjim. Good Location and ample parking around. Had visited this restaurant recently with my family. They have a very good and clean seating area and the staff are extremely competent. <br/>The food was just superb. We tried the Shell fish pulao King fish rawa fry, Kori rotti, prawn masala, pomphret fry, Garlic Wings and the kebabs. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. <br/>The owners of the restaurant are extremely down to earth and their passion and hard work is evident. They have won the Goan Chef awards in 2016 and this reflects in the quality and taste of the food they serve. <br/>All in all a very good experience and would definitely visit again!

Very good fish and veg thalis. Staff was very attentive. Got fantastic lunch even around closing time. The drunks were made 1 by 2 gladly and such generous portions too.

I was there in Panaji during my Goa trip. I was feeling hunger while shopping at the Panaji market. Found the restaurant while passing by, I didn't know what their speciality was. I ordered chicken schezwan noodles and strawberry fantasy mocktail. A friend of mine who was with me ordered paneer tikka. Whatever we ordered was very tasty. I loved the strawberry fantasy mocktail a lot. That one is a must try.

Another award winning Chef we met at the recent Goan Chef awards in Goa was this home Chef Sunitha Shetty whose passion for cooking took her to next level and with no formal training of any HM Institute she has been running her no fancy restaurant in Panjim for last two years and focus is on food and delicious to the core. And that has got her five awards in various categories, which prompted us to try her culinary skills.<br/><br/>And the food was mind blowing, Chicken Urval in South Indian style was cooked in tandoor and the spices which she has used are all prepared by her which gave the awesome flavor and colour to the Dish. Prawn ghee roast was another devilishly awesome one with a crunch and spicy for our palate and loved it. Paneer Tikka Masala with veges done in tandoor has right mix of masala.<br/><br/>Kori Gassi Mangalorean Chicken curry was something we had for the first time and will go there again for it whenever I am in Goa. This was really really tasty and not to be missed. Kori Gassi is made by rice is a very thin like papad and you have to crush it and mix it with gravy to get the perfect taste.<br/><br/>Chicken curry with steam Rice again was delicious, and her spices are making it so different and flavorful.<br/><br/>If you want to really eat good food then don’t miss this place.<br/><br/>Food….. 4.5/5<br/><br/>Service…. 4/5<br/><br/>Ambiance…3/5

Wow. Sunita shetty, the owner and the most amazing cook gave us a mangalorean meal of a lifetime. Chicken ghee roast..... Oh man!!! Followed by the most amazing kori roti ever. We were lucky to have had her cook for us!!! Simply fab!!

Good food little late in service. AC SECTION is good for families. Service has to improve a lot. Quality of food is good and tasty. Satisfied.

Very reasonable pricing and value for money. The taste of food is really good and chicken chilly & Manchurian is a must try. Bhatkal Biryani is a must !!. The fish thali is not so good, so basically not the place for Sea food. <br/><br/>This place is for reasonably priced Chicken (north Indian & Chinese) Dishes.

We had a very good time here recently. The Bhatkali biryani leaped out from on their menu, because it is simply not be found in most restaurants anywhere. We ordered that, rotis and aloo gobhi. Everything was super tasty. The Bhatkali vbiryani was true to its traiditional recipe, while the aloo gobhi was made in the best gravy I have had in a long time. And the prices are very reasonable, given the portions and the taste.  <br/><br/>Service is good, ambience is ok. We ate on the second floor, which is the AC section. The first floor is a little odd because it has a low ceiling height, but the ground floor and second floor are fine. <br/><br/>This place serves beer and other booze too. <br/><br/>The menu is long and has local Goan dishes. Quite a few other people were relishing the fish thali when we were there. <br/><br/>A good option in Panjim, overall.

Amazing place for fish thali and Mangalorean food in Goa. The sea food dishes are quite exquisite and a must try place if you head on over to Panjim. The AC section on the top floor is quite well equipped, where you can relax and have a good meal.

A must visit :) if you'd like to try authentic goan food. Very reasonable price for tasty food, don't forget to eat on the first floor which is clean & they have A/C. PS : they do serve alcohol.

Looking for a reasonably priced fish thali, then this is the place. A little dingy but it's worth the price for the food and the quality. Fresh food and authentic fish/ prawn curry. Quick service. This restaurant is more of an "eat-and-leave" restaurant and not the type you would want to hang around in. They have a family section and an AC section. Based in the heart of Panjim, just off 18th June road.
