Food quality was great. And the quantity was also good. Their mocktails were also refreshing. Service was up to mark. The waiters are friendly and ready to serve you. Ambiance is good. Not great but simply good. Food is priced reasonable. Overall it was a very good experience.

Loved the food, specially chicken kebabs. Located in the heart of the city but still away from traffic, good ambience, interior, polite staff. Have large varieties of drinks to offer and snacks to much on. Peaceful place to spend time with family and friends. They also offer free home delivery.

Have tried the buffet (all you can eat @ Rs295+) at this place and it was good enough. There were variety of dishes including veg and non veg. In non veg they had Murg tikka, Crab sukha, Prawns curry and Prawns fry taste of all dishes was good bt Prawns fry were the highlight . They keep changing their dishes evryday, so worth trying multiple times.

Not a very fancy place but great in taste and quantity. Earlier thru used to offer a buffet system but now we have to order. What I like most about Dawaat is that even in the midst of a big crowded day, the waiters and stewards pay close attention to all the customers and serve them on time. They are also very patient and kind. Do visit this amazing place. The food and service won't make you regret having a meal there.

Good ambience, good food, not bad service. The buffet is very cheap, tasty and its all you can eat. Gets a lil crowded during lunch(obvious reasons), very unfortunate that buffet is served for lunch and only on weekdays. Overall i liked it.

Have been visiting this place for years now... and it has always been a pleasure... new dishes, off the menu, is always a pleasant surprise. Decently priced, excellent and hygienic place coupled with super courteous staff will keep ypu coming back for more... The seafood is smacking and so are the rest on the menu... Very good restaurant with clean and active environment. I have ordered vegetarian food and my friends had ordered non vegetarian food which was awesome. I have ordered stuffed cheese mushroom which was very delicious. My friends had ordered chicken dragon and they said that it is the best you can get here. Than we ordered naan and paneer tikka masala which was also very tasty. Finally we ordered Schezwan Fried Rice which was very good.

The food is usually very good and tasty. The soups are amazing. Highly suggested the pepper chicken soup. But service can be slow especially when it is during the lunch buffet time. Consider reserving a table in advance especially for lunch.

This place was pretty deserted when we entered on a Saturday evening around 7pm, the way I like it but became very lively by the time we finished. Staff were extremely friendly and always there to serve us but the food preparation took a awful lot of time ~45 mins. But then we had ordered their special sea food platter along with some Roti, Steamed Rice and Gravy. Most of the food items severed were tasty and the portions were fine but I still feel that the restaurant is over priced for what they offer. A satisfying meal for two can easily cost over 2k here, in our case a tad bit higher along with desserts

We had a family lunch outing today at Daawat. Total Value for money. A wide spread that is unmatched for its quality anywhere else I've been so far. Convenient in Panaji city and good parking available. The best was the visvon perfect fried to a Goenkars taste. Good Luck Daawat.

Such a nice place for lunch at Panaji , not sure how I missed it in my last trip to Goa. It’s a nice place with tasty food ..Location is calm and cool..Food is good and the staff are well behaved. More than anything I liked the locale. I thank folks at Daawat for such a nice experience.

The restaurant is a part of Hotel Campal, in the heart of city. They're known for the extremely filling authentic fish thali. Personally verified. It is extremely delicious and massive. Even chicken thali served here is generous and tasty.<br/>A la carte dishes too are top notch. Every dish is remarkable. I've tried almost half their menu in my umpteen visists and there is no single dish that has left me complaining. Personal attention to every dish by the manager goes a long way in ensuring it's quality.<br/>Service is friendly and very efficient. Well groomed hospitality.<br/>And of course goes without saying, as the word of mouth is Biryani is excellent.

Good food, but i dont know why you guys stopped thali and buffet... I use to love it when i visited. Bring it back... Rest some more variety is needed...

He was sweet and professional.<br/>As regards food: there is lot of scope of improvement. We had soup which were good (veg clear, manchow and sweet corn). The starters mushroom baby corn chilly was high on spice and stole the taste of the main ingredients . The paneer 65 had a strong flavour of spice. The main course of paneer makhanvala was okay.

A great day with excellent food makes it indeed memorable..after a long tiring day we ended up landing at DAAWAT. Frankly speaking had not expected much from this place, but to r surprise the food was excellent. Squid butter garlic, cheese garlic naan , chicken manchaow soup were unexpectedly awesome . Still remember the taste. Lastly we had the fish platter which is truly worth the price for such fresh and tasty variety of seafood.<br/>Would surely visit again in our next trip to Goa.

The mat was changed after each meal. The toilets were also really clean.<br/><br/>Service : The servers were well dressed and they could converse also really well.<br/><br/>Food : For soup the Chicken manchow soup was well cooked, no too much use of garlic(which is good), few chicken pieces, used the healthy noodles.<br/><br/>For starters : Chicken Punjabi kebab was well cooked, was tender and moist and the spices were amazing. the food is good but the service is poor. they don't pay attention to their customer orders. I order a veg fried rice and they gave a non veg one. I had a vegan friend with me and she lost her appetite over it. later on when the bill was brought they had added an extra item in the bill. even to refill our water we had to call them like a hundred times. I understand when their is rush problems tend to happen but they should be adequately staffed and not make the customers time an unpleasant one

Daawat is Like a temple we as a family religiously go to when in Panjim. Next to Wendell Rodrigues boutique , this hotel has plenty of parking space which is next to finding a needle in a hack stack in Panjim .Great staff , Great food and a Great well lit neat hotel( I've never used the word Great so many times in one sentence 😅) .To top it is their steal deal lunch buffet for just less than 300 bucks but the unlimited fried kingfish and the fruit salad / kheer is a let down, that is frequently repeated in the buffer menu ..My recommendations are their dry chicken starters .. u can't go wrong with anything but my 👍picks are chicken manchurian dry,chicken lollipop tossed,lovely potato,chicken biryani and schezwan fried rice.. 👎picks are their fish fry dishes,chicken punjabi kebab and their chicken Hyderabadi .Overall a definite go!

We opted for the unlimited buffet. You get a fresh/sweet lime soda when you sit down. The buffet has quite a few dishes, all of them average! Fish curry was a bit watered down. You get one piece of kingfish (limited) custard/fruit salad was a complete let down. Street parking is available.

Great ambience. They have the buffet system along with normal restaurant menu. We tried the buffet and it was pretty good. There are a variety of veg and non veg starters along with soup. The main course consisted of Rice, Jeera Rice, Curry and Gravy-Nan and they also serve one large fish piece. The service is very quick and the prices are decent as well. Overall, a good visit.

Had been here with my friends for lunch. We tried their buffet and it was really great with lot of variety and taste. The tangdi kababs are delicious. Since its a buffet system there is no need to worry of the quantity. Staff is welcoming and ambience is good. One of my favourite places to dine.

the food at daawat is good. i dropped in with my colleagues in the afternoon for the buffet and was surprised to see that they had a buffet. without thinking about anything further we decided to try out their buffet and were immediately surprised to see the number of dishes put up.. My rating is based solely on their daily buffet. I've never tried their a-la-carte menu<br/>Having visited a month ago, this review was long due. But I'm glad I waited. After dining out at various other restaurants ( and getting used to non-Eurasia prices) I've realised that you can't get those many dishes along with rava fry fish(usually kingfish) for that price at many places. If you do, the ambience definitely won't be of Daawat's level. Due to this I've raised my rating by half a star. Another plus point is the speed. If you're late to reach the city, you just walk in and start eating which is an appealing prospect if you've been starving till 2.30.<br/>Go for the buffet only if you are a foodie or else you might not feel like you're getting much value for your 300rs.

Had heard a lot about their food and lunch buffet. Finally went there on Eid only to experience the worst of a restaurant experience. The waiters are rude and speak in a very insulting tone. The manager is indifferent and all he does is walk around the place pretending to be busy. The restaurant is downright cheating customers by false advertising regarding their buffet offering. Imagine on Eid to have no biryani on the buffet but having a large sign outside which says biryani is part of their buffet. They claim to serve kingfish and prawns rava fry in the buffet just fail to mention that it's limited to one piece per person. Even the waiters don't bother to inform you. The standard of the buffet food has fallen drastically. For veg all they had was cabbage, watery saltless Dal, a floating in oil veg curry and fried vegetables. The veg soup was worst than drinking water, in fact it tasted like water flavoured with rotten vegetables. The non veg was a prawn curry without any prawns and one dry and one curry chicken. Only the dry chicken chili was worth eating. The one piece of rawa fried fish was swimming in old used oil and the prawns tasted stale. Dessert was fruit salad consisting of over riped fruits, just rotting bananas, watermelon with all the seeds intact and pineapple with its skin still on in places. The food salad was representative of the current state of the restaurant, old, rotten, uncleaned and tasteless. If all this was not enough, they overcharged me in the bill and did not even deduct the tax while giving the refund. Don't take my word for it, the pictures tell the whole story. This restaurant is best avoided. There are many cheaper and better options for lunch in Panjim, and the best lunch fish thalis are all under 200 rupees. Save your money by going elsewhere.

Difficult to locate, near to Kala Academy, parking isn't issue there. Food was par excellence. Loved the ambience there. So my colleagues have always been raving about this place, so I eventually tagged along for lunch once. They have this buffet going on, so it's pretty much better than having a fish thali for lunch. And it's really value for money. I ain't kidding! You wouldn't get a rava fried pomfret with an unlimited non-veg (and veg) buffet for that price. Everything is nice and hot. I loved the potato wedges - like, I had a second serving of it! The chicken was stellar too!

We got a complimentary breakfast here...<br/>Ambiance is good, but complimentary breakfast had a very very limited option... Bread's were really hard and one of the slice even had a piece of pebble in it which was reported to the staff, but staff didn't even took the pain to change that piece of bread or apologize for the same. Wouldn't recommend this place for breakfast atleast, there are many other good restaurants around.

The food is expensive and definitely not good for the price it demands. The non veg dishes are ok, but the vegetarian dishes I tried out here were pathetic.

Try out the thali at lunch. Amazing deal and great quantity. Make sure you book table in advance, this place is usually crowded..serves great food

Ordered mutton rogan ghosh...the worst ever,too oily, uncooked mutton and not even close to the authentic rogan ghosh. Manager chaitanya refused to take it back. Never coming back!

good value for money food, they serve you goan fish-curry rice in a buffet format, that means unlimited food at very reasonable price, though u get only one fish fry per plate it is still worth it

Great ambience specially for family occasions. Amazing quantity of food and great taste. Doesn't disappoint at all. Service time can be improved a bit. But otherwise great place to eat.

The place has good interiors and it's one of the better known restaurants in Panaji, but my fooding experience was not good.<br/>I ordered for Batter Fried Shrimps, and they were bad! They were not crunchy and hard as rock. I thought of asking them to change it, but since I was in a hurry I had to eat whatever was served on my plate. Also, it was so bad that I didn't bother taking its picture.<br/><br/>Daawat, you can't serve that to your patrons. Bad experience.

I love the ambience here. The deco, menu, servings everything seems royal. Its Dawat indeed ! Food was good and served well. Worth the price. <br/><br/>P.S this restaurant being in the campal area , you het good parking options and also, is away from the city rush.

Tried only the buffet here. Worth the price. Great taste. Fish is well cooked. Chicken is well cooked. Daily different dishes so you don't get the same things. But food is filling.

A decent place to have food. Despite being in the middle of panjim city , you wont have any parking issues.The food served is tasty and service is quick.

Good Ambience, Good Service, and Good Food. You should definitely try the Watermelon Mojito(Cocktail) and Mint Fizz(Mocktail). Situated just opposite Kala Academy, this place is easy to miss. But if you like a good unlimited meal at a very reasonable price, make sure you find this place.<br/><br/>The staff is friendly. The spread for the unlimited lunch is good and most of it was delish. Everything is unlimited except the fried fish which is acceptable considering the modest price for an unlimited meal.<br/><br/>Good place to go if you want to eat a hearty meal without burning a hole in your pocket.

One of the best restaurants in the capital city of Panjim. Had no difficulty in locating the restaurant as it lies in the heart of the city itself. Have been there thrice already for lunch as well as dinner. The lunch buffet is explicable with a wide variety of options. The service is also upto the mark with very friendly staff. Food is excellent and well priced. Try their SIngapour chicken, its really good. Would definitely recommend this eatout to all those who wanna have a value for money meal!

I can hardly think of any places in goa which offers unlimited food at cheap rates... well for me daawat tops that list. so this place offers u a buffet(only for lunch) and it's unlimited (except for fried fish) and it's totally worth it!!...big thumbs up for this place😍👌👍

Pretty decent restaurant. Good food. The spread was okay. Wish the fish was unlimited as well. But alas. The staff are helpful. Overall a satisfactory dining experience.

Lunch Buffet = Daawat, the sea food is good. Choice of menu is also great. Value for money for sure !!!<br/>There also decent Veg options on the menu, so perfect for Veg & Non veg's group...

A friend strongly recommended this hotel and we went there on a sunny afternoon. We had the buffet. The menu was on the lower side considering the cost.. It's good.! The taste is good too. Well maintained place.

The place serves good Indian food with excellent Service.. The staff too is educated and courteous. Ambience is way too formal, so don't forget to wear your trousers..The food is good on all counts, right from sea food, veg n Indian.. The worst side is the pricing. The base price of the dishes are however not high but the taxes take you 30% deeper in to bankruptcy.
