Review The Brasserie - Panjim

Nita Shetty
Good place for dinner. The manager Ashish is a young man who is very helpful. The food choices could include more.

It's been more than 6 years I've been visiting this place.. on and off. The best part about this place is you can enjoy the food even if you don't have a membership card. You just have to pay extra Rs 30/pp before you enter the restaurant. The price is very reasonable and drinks/food they serve there is amazing. If you're in and around Miramar, you should definitely try going for dinner here, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Located inside the Gasper Dias club, the restaurant serves great food. We tried all kinds of sea food and weren’t disappointed in any of the dishes. Very calm ambience all around and good service. Rates are very genuine and the staff have some very good decorations.

Service is too slow. Rest is very good. Rate of food, alcohol is affordable. Good thing that they entertain non members too. All in all liked it
Kartik Malik
This place is near the Miramar circle. You will have to park your car outside if you are not a member. Also there is a small entry fee for Non members to enter the restaurant. The place looks great, it has a nice ambience , there's a pool too. About the food, the food is good not that extraordinary. Its very cheap though Service is quick too. Things to try Kebabs, Ghee Roast chicken, Squids Golden fry.

One thing i really need when it comes to getogether is lighting and the ambience ,this place was just perfect Food was great! Understanding and polite staff . Only thing was that they had house flies around probably cause of the garden adjacent . But overall was a great experience !
Ajit Barreto
Very decent ac bar, with Alfresco area as well. Wide variety of snacks, and beverages. Recommended for a nice evening get-together.

Came across The Brasserie while searching for a place for my family to have some great lunch and an amazing time and The Brasserie ticked both these items is a beautiful way!! I loved the fact that this restaurant is accessible even if you aren't a member. Had a lovely time with really good food and appealing ambience.

One of my go-to place for some good Indian Food. Best for a group outings or even for birthday treats etc.. A very friendly environment. Ambience is amazing. It's jam packed during evenings mostly. Most people do not know that even general public is allowed to dine at their restaurant with a small token payment of Rs.30 per person for the entry. Their rates are all inclusive of taxes and extremely reasonable than most other fine dining places in Panjim. Even the alcohol rates are satisfactory. The service may be a bit slow depending on the crowd. That's the only minus among so many good points. Must try stuff at The Brasserie are the Chicken Tandoori , Biryani, Cheese Garlic Naan and Chicken crispy. They are a regulars for me.

It is a restaurant in Club Gasper, Miramar, Panaji. Non-member have to pay Rs 30 to go to the restaurant. The food is good.

This place is totally value for money and boasts of great ambience. Located inside the Clube Tennis De Gaspar just opposite the Miramar Beach, you have to pay 30 bucks each to reserve a seat inside this restaurant. The rest of the places here are only reserved for club members. Brasserie has a pool view along with indoor seating options. I totally loved the Tandoori Chicken and Dal makhani. The menu has enough vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The drinks menu will especially stun you (You will get the idea once you see the menu and will thank me later). Great service and prices are absolutely within the affordable range. You will not get to eat at such a classy place at this price. Definitely visit this!

You have to pay ₹30 as entry fee if you are not a member of this club but that shouldn’t discourage you as the food here is delicious.
Service is very good, seating area is awesome. You can either seat inside or there is an open air seating option. There is one swimming pool just next to the restaurant.
Chef is hardworking as the presentation of the food as well as the taste was outstanding.

The Brasserie is a poolside restaurant at Clube Tennis de Gasper Dias a venture of CATPRO by Girish Desai.
Non members need to pay an entry fee of Rs 30 to get in.
Tried out
•FRIED AMERICAN CORN KERNELS~Cruncy corn that is scrumptious in every bite.
But does get heavy subsequently.
•BONELESS CHICKEN~A thick Indian gravy with eggs and succulent chicken.
•CRUMB FRIED CHICKEN -Crispy chicken coated with crumbs and fried to perfection.
Overall a decent place with moderate prices and friendly staff!

We had lunch at The Brasserie since it was very close to our resort. It’s inside the Tennis Club, beside the pool. It took us some minutes to find the place.

It’s not quite the regular Goan restaurant, you will see rich people there. More on the posh side, so not too much fun or colour. And they also charge the guests (not the members) a tax of 30 rs entrance at the restaurant.

Service was so and so. We had to wait a bit for the food to come. And when the bill came at the end they overcharged us for an item and they admitted their mistake but still charged the overprice... interesting.

For food we had Goan Chicken Pulao and Jire Mirem. Pulao was decent, rice tasted good and the chicken was tender. Jire Mirem is a prawn curry (for which we paid almost double the price saying that is chargeable As Per Size even though in the menu had a fixed price). The curry was not worth the price we paid but still it was a good dish.
Overall we won’t visit again the place “When in Goa”.
The Tingling Taste Buds
A restaurant at Clube Tennis de Gasper Dias, Miramar, it is managed by Catpro, a catering venture by Chef Girish Desai. The decor isn't fancy, but is elegant and has a soothing ambience. They have an indoor as well as an outdoor seating. The outdoor seating overlooks the pool and is perfect for a dinner with friends and family. Non-members have to pay a token amount of Rs. 30 per person for entry to the restaurant.

We tried the following:
For drinks; Susegado Beer, Cosmopolitan, Minty Melon Cooler
For starters; Crumb Fried Chicken, Prawns Chilli Basil
For mains; Ghee Roast Chicken, Chicken Lahori, Butter Chicken, Butter Garlic Naan

The Susegado Beer is a handcrafted Goan beer and is available on tap in 3 flavours namely Ale, Roasted Caramel Lager and Mango. You may request for a tasting of each of the beers. The mango beer is an acquired taste as it's sweeter and different from a normal beer. Also called Cosmo, the Cosmopolitan is a cocktail made with vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice and lime juice. The cooler is a simple and refreshing mocktail, made using watermelon and mint.
⠀
The Crumb Fried Chicken is served along with tarter sauce. It was absolutely delicious and we definitely recommend it. Medium sized prawns that were cooked perfectly in a deliciously flavoured Thai chilli basil sauce stir fried with an assortment of veges. Again, worth a try!⠀

The Ghee Roast Chicken is by far, one of the most delicious dishes on their menu. The chicken pieces were cooked beautifully and the gravy had a lovely ghee roast flavour.

The Chicken Lahori was tasty, but nothing out of the ordinary. Butter Chicken is every Indian's all time favourite and at Brasserie, they definitely did justice to this delicious dish.

Went there with my family last night,it was real quiet and we were the only one's apart from another table inside. This is basically the poolside restaurant of Club Gasper Dias and if you're not a member it's just a mere 30 bucks per head to enter.
We ordered the Dal Methi, Sabz Hundi Punjabi, Murg Do Pyaza and 6 Butter Rotis. The portion for every dish was absolutely fabulous and of course delicious. I will certainly recommend this place and will be visiting again.

Have visited this place a couple of times.. The food is quite good and pretty reasonable too..

The chicken ghee roast is super delicious and spicy.. The Fried rice is also amazing.. ♥
Tanvi (@therandomfork)
I was here at The Brassiere to try out their special valentines menu. I was extremely impressed with the sumptuous spread. Everything was good. This place is inside a club and hence has a nice garden siting besides the pool. Value for money this place can definitely be given a try. The restaurant is managed by Catpro- and hence the quality of food.

Ridiculously expensive place for the fare offered. A pomfret curry with a tiny pomfret for Rs.600 /-
Unbelievable. Chicken sandwich with just 2 tiny slices of bread @ Rs.150/-

Also the prices on the menu at the restaurant and the menu presented on zomato are totally different.

Trying to be friendly and polite as possible. Located within a famous club in miramar, Goa. This place is average. Food is not that great. To make things worse found Cockroach in mutton biryani we ordered. Personally will not recommend this place to anyone. Got charged for that unhygenic biryani and waiter was unapologetic. Others may had a good time but our experience here was very bad.

The only reason we went all the way to this place was to try the chicken ghee roast. First the waiter informed us that only the with bone version of the dish was available and we said that's fine. In a few minutes we were told that it's not available and we should try another chicken gravy item, we said fine. I ln a few seconds we were told to order chicken lahori..! At that moment we were like, get something whatever you like. The dish sadly wasn't all that good. The chicken pieces were clearly from last night's leftovers, probably from tandoori. It had that weird taste and texture that you get once you reheat chicken that's stored in fridge. The fruit juice was hugely expensive and wasn't worth the taste one bit. Cheese garlic naan was completely cold and was rubber like. A small bowl of plain rice costs 120 bucks! Prawns golden fry and kingfish rawa fry costed a lot more than it does in some better places. Our total bill was 1.8k without any alcohol! So one star for the food and one for the staff which was quite polite

"Ghee roast a favorite" NO MORE!
Didn't quite like the ghee roast this time, looked a bit like a North Indian preparation, however the naan and jeera rice was 👌

Just in love with this place.best place to hang out with ur friends as well as ur family.food is reasonably priced and is totally worth it.
Tandoori and chicken chilli is a must try at this place

So this is a perfect place if you wish to have amazing food with a fantastic feel. The restaurant is part of the club which has other facilities like a tennis court, gym, pool and many more and all of these could be availed by paying a nominal entry fee.
Now comes the food,so the menu has a lot of options and at very reasonable prices. The must try out thing is the Dal Makhani (the best in Goa for sure) ,the butter chicken, the Butter Garlic Prawn and the spring rolls.

This restaurant is the best √√√√ ...Its an ideal example of how a restaurant should cater to its customers...excellent food , great value for money , friendly and courteous staff ...wonderful ambience.....Keep it up...

Just better than normal food. Decent Chinese food. One can try Stroganoff or their Chicken Biryani

Must Try: chicken Ghee roast. It will leave you asking for more.

Please dont try: Sizzlers, cocktails (LIIT)
The Goan Foodie
It was one of the best Restaurants in Goa in November 2018, but it has ridiculously changed, menu has changed, prices have doubled, quality & quantity has been impacted, no more visiting My Fav The Brasserie😞

Finally visited this place! Simple and cozy ambiance, good and quick service, reasonable price and amazing food. We tried out their speciality items which were surprisingly not listed on their menu. Chicken ghee roast is a must try here(it's the best one I ever had). Other things that we ordered were chicken mastana kebab, garlic naan and chicken Maratha(gravy). All these were delicious and quantity was very generous. Also we tried out their special mocktails for the day and loved it. For dessert we ordered serradura and it was just wow!! We noticed that these items which were not mentioned on menu were bit expensive as compared to ones which were mentioned; but it was worth the price. Also non members have to pay entry fee of 30rs per head.
Would definitely recommend this place :)

Visited the Brasserie on a lazy Sunday night for dinner. This place is located in Gaspar Dias in Miramar. The place was full to capacity with some decent crowd. We somehow managed to get a table at the corner. As I opened the menu I was surprised to see that the rates were so reasonable. I don’t remember when was the last time I paid so little for a meal for two. Food taste was also good. Chef recommendation is the chicken ghee roast. The main reason I visited this place was to eat their Serradura but sadly I forgot to order dessert! Sad trip there
Sparkles
We hired Kundan who manages 'The Brasserie" for a lunch party held at Gaspar Dias. The food was excellent and well appreciated by all guests. Coriander chicken, achari tikka, prawn in filo cups are some dishes I would surely recommend.
Post the party, we visited this restaurant for a quick lunch and has kingfish recheido fry and prawn curry rice. Both were cooked to perfection.
Interiors are clean and classy, however would not qualify as fine dining. However, you can be assured of quality seafood at a reasonable price.

A serene and tranquil place located inside Clube tennis de gaspar near Miramar beach. They would charge Rs 30 as entry fee if you are not the member of the club. Positioned adjacent to the swimming pool, the Brasserie is professionally decorated with courteous staff. But I was little disappointed with the taste and quality of the food. I ordered masala papad, cheese balls with beer, and chicken Alfredo pasta as the main course. Cheese balls had NO CHEESE and lots of ONIONS, yes you read it right - onions. I mean who puts kilos of onions in cheese balls. The dish was served with kind of tartare sauce prepared with readymade mayonnaise . Pasta was served in a bowl instead of a pasta plate. There was no garlic bread served and pasta did not have any cheese in its making ( I had orders it in Alfredo / white sauce , which is a cheese sauce ). A very decent place though and friendly on pocket.

With a pool just outside, the feel is pleasing if you are facing the pool else it's ordinary. There's definitely a feeling of calmness though. Not fancy but elegant decor. I loved the look of their bar counter. We order paneer tikka, spicy, soft and juicy. Loved it, even though I'm not a big fan. Stuffed mushrooms were nothing out of the ordinary. The best dish among the ones we ordered was chicken Mastana Kebab. The marinade and masala was unique. It left my taste buds asking for more. Though the ghee roast chicken is quite popular, It didn't appeal to my tongue much. The beer which was supposedly Mango and Caramel flavored were the real disappointment. No hint of mango or caramel, but charged more than other brands. The best drink turned out to be the Virgin Mojito. All in all a nice place place to be. The ambiance is decent and prices aren't too steep.

Absolutely Value for money!! They don't have a fancy menu and it's pocket friendly in a true sense. Based on the recommendations, tried their butter chicken with Naan. Food was good. Overall, nice place and nice food.

Not a place to host a dinner for a big crowd. Planned a family dinner for a special occasion for 18 guests. Pre-booked the menu and service requirements with the manager the day before. However it was very sad to see that not even the table was arranged for this special evening. The servers seemed unaware of this dinner plan. They took forever to attend to us. We were told that starters would be followed by mains in 15 mins and but had to wait for 50 mins. That too after constantly nagging the waiters and the manager Kundan we got some food on the table. There was only 1 waiter serving 18 people. The fried fish had very little salt. When feedback was given, the staff refused to acknowledge. Post the meal, my guests waited for 10 minutes for the plates to be cleared and another 15 mins for finger bowls, which didn't come so they had to find themselves a washbasin. Either the message was not given to the staff about this dinner, or they are highly incompetent to handle these kind of events. Won't comment on the food but the service was disappointing and ended up as a huge embarrassment for us.

Not mentioned that this is for Club members only. Have to pay entry fees to get into the restaurant. 30 bucks per head for entry. Zomato should clearly specify this. However, food is great and very reasonably priced.

If u want to relax with some good food then this is the go to place. Food here is very tasty and cheap.
Staff was very friendly.

Recommended dish : butter chicken.

The food here is very cheap and amazing.
Stylish decor. You definitely get the "Someplace Nice" feel here.
Amazing Ghee Roast available here.
Only downside is service which is extremely slow and bad. It takes ages to get your food.
Apoorv Koomar
Food was decent, service was really slow. The only problem was at the time of payment first they won't accept the normal rupay card, then won't allow us to pay half by cash and half by debit card. I mean that's just immature. You can tell they are new in the business the way they handled it. Sorry but it spoiled the mood.

A great place to visit. Good food at a very good price.
Do try BAKED COTTAGE CHESS WITH MUSHROOM N TOMATOS and CHICKEN ACHARI these are best at this place.

Decor makes you feel like you're in a good place. And the prices are great. good ambience, value for money, Tasty food , Polite and prompt service at poolside ,This place is really affordable and with a nice ambience. Worth a visit. Will visit again very soon.
Nikita Menezes
In a gist, good ambience, value for money, decent food. There's a fee to enter of you're not a member of the club. The ambience is pleasing. The menu is nothing special, the things you'll find at any other normal restaurant. The food is the same. But the decor makes you feel like you're in a good place. And the prices are great. So yeah, give it a shot.
Aaron Lemos
In my opinion, this place has some really bad tasting food. We had gone a little bit late, the waiter was very rude to us telling us to order quickly. We ordered chicken kholapuri and dal makhani. The makhani was without flavour and watery. The kholapuri was only infused with flavour. The only thing worth eating was the golden fried chicken. That is the reason there is a plus .5 to this rating. Overall a fancy place, reasonably priced but bad food.
Its been a visit to "The Brasserie" few hours ago...which is to be remembered. Ambience: ten-on-ten
Staff: (helpful n polite) ten-on-ten
N coming to the food.. U can't miss on Butter chicken n naan and also Chicken Biryani.
Amazing!
U cant afford to miss such a beautiful experience at affordable price. A visit to "The Brasserie" is a must.

Don't be confused even if it is in a sports club. All are welcomed. The ambience is really good. When we went, the place wasn't crowded at all. The service is prompt. The servers are polite.
We had ordered veg manchurian. It was crispy yet soft. The taste was good too. The we also had paneer chilly. That wasn't spicy though but it came with a lot of chillies and onions..
The we had Malai kofta. We had a choice of the colour of gravy, so we opted for red. It wasn't as sweet as the dish normally is.
Lastly we had a chocolate milkshake and Malai kulfi. The shake was nicely done. Frothy and bubly.
The Malai kulfi was delicious too.
But the grand finale was when the bill came. All this with a few rotis cost us just 600 rs.
This place is really affordable and with a nice ambience. Worth a visit.

The urge to find the place that serves both good veg and non veg food let us to this place. It is a part of the old Gasper Dias Club and it is right near the Miramar Beach Circle. A nominal fee of Rs 30 is charged for the non club members which is fine. The place is tucked away in greenery and it gives you a good positive vibe. We ordered spring rolls, chicken chilly for starters, chicken tandoori, lasagna and biryani for mains and the famous serradura, for desserts. I loved each of the dishes served and the Serradura deserves a special mention. It is nice and creamy and is not gelatinous as usually served at other places. The place is well maintained and the service is quick. The prices are pretty reasonable and each dish is inclusive of taxes so it doesn't burn a hole in d pocket. Overall a really special evening well spent. Looking forward for many more visits

So far one of the best places I've been to around Panjim. It's at Miramar and the restaurant is part of a tennis club. Guests have to pay a nominal amount (30rs) for entry. But it's totally worth it!
The ambience is classic - dim lighting, spaced out tables, warm decor.. And the food is delish here. The squids and poultry was well cooked and unlike other places, was not rubbery. I suggest trying the biryani and lasagna here. Also, serradura (Goan-Portuguese dessert) features in desserts. It is an absolute value for money - the fares are inclusive of taxes, it's open till late (we were the last customers leaving after 12.30) and the staff is very hospitable.

This place is members only as its part of the club. They have super affordable rates. Great service and really good food. I will keep updating this entry with what to eat and what to avoid in starters mushroom chilli and chicken chilli is must try
Anish Juwarkar
Brasserie is the in house restaurant of Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias the oldest club in Goa. So like in most clubs the prices are a steal. My rating is purely for the value for money. I will recommend the butter chicken and naan. I feel its one of the best in Goa. the chicken ghee roast is also popular and so are all the tandoor preparations(exp achari kebab). ALcohol is also pretty cheap. Good ambiance comfortable seating and quick service. And a sure shot must try is the ceradurra.. Not to be missed in Panjim
