Review Tataki - Immersive Asian Dining - Panjim

Absolutely loved the food! I personally loved the pink salmon sushi and the pepper chicken skewers. We were served by Ravi; service was great and comforting.

Good place for aisan food. Service could be improved. The day we visited they were playing so loud music that we could not talk properly. Someone birthday was there. I think they should have informed us before when we were booking the table.

This was the best meal we had on our trip to Goa this time. Clean clear flavours and super fresh produce with an excellent chef. Totally give it five stars!! Our waiter Ashish was absolutely brilliant and took such good care of us!

We had Sunday lunch on 27 August 2023. The following dishes were ordered Calamari Lamb mussman curry Thai green curry Rice Panacotta for dessert All the dishes were outstanding in flavor and taste. Service was a bit slow but a great overall experience. Highly recommended.

I realised recently that if you want to save on the timeand expense of international travel, and yet explore the cuisine of Southeast Asia all you have to do is visit Tataki. Overall it was a wonderful experience, I’ve never had anything quite like the Jaggery cheesecake is quite delicious and unimaginably creamy,This cake had a smooth texture and slight smoky hint of jaggery in every bite. Its not too dense but is creamy and rich.

Tataki truly exceeded my expectations. The menu offered a wide array of Asian cuisines, each dish prepared with precision and bursting with authentic flavors. The ambience was stunning, with tasteful decor and a soothing atmosphere. The soft background music played a pivotal role in creating a relaxed atmosphere, adding to the overall charm of the place. The service was impeccable, with well-trained staff who provided attentive and friendly service. A must-visit for anyone craving a memorable Asian dining experience.

Really delicious food- we had the sashimi lobster chilli garlic there and it was especially to die for! The rest of the food was amazing as well. The service provided was impressive as well- in particular, Pritam was incredibly helpful and very kind throughout our stay there. Cannot recommend a better place to dine in if you love seafood!!

This is a great Asian food place that serves veg food also! Food is priced on higher side (and for drinks too) but overall it was amazing experience thanks to our server - Mr. Pritam - who understood our taste buds and practically suggested all dishes. We didn't even have to look at the menu and trusted him ever since his first recommendation - eggplant tartare (a must try!!). Definitely will come back again when we are back in Goa!

It is a pleasure to get really excellent food v well presented and delivery on time . Have ordered many times , generally it is the spare ribs , lamb, burnt garlic rice and it is always fabulous . Mind you you have to like spicy . The assorted dumplings are also delicious . As is the crunchy rolls . What is a real pleasure is that john , the person who takes your order is so helpful and gives great advice on what to chose .

We went here on a lazy Sunday afternoon after strolling fontainhas. We were in awe with the decor! The place is grand and welcoming.Lot if picture perfect places to click selfies of course.Got our place very easily.Coming to the food part .We ordered Torched tuna teriyaki and spicy salmon sushi roll.<br/>Both looked eye catching with perfect presentation.Portion size was also quiet good.seafood was fresh and melt in mouth specially the salmon.Service was on point with warm and welcoming host. The place is also big group friendly.Menu was elaborate with lots of options to choose from.<br/>I always judge a restaurant by how clean their washrooms are and oh man! These guys have exceeded all the expectations.<br/>Overall it’s been a perfect venue for all your cozy dates or even casual lunch or dinner meets. I would definitely want to visit another time.

Located in panaji city, Tataki is a fine dining place serving a variety of Asian and Japanese food. The food and ambience is so well which has kept people happy. Located on 1st floor with beautiful lighting, having an indoor and outdoor sitting, this place is amazing for a date night as well with nice candles on table and the furniture and etc making the place, a perfect one. A perfect place to spend a good evening. The food here is very good but coming to the staff, they can be more active and should be better trained so that they can have more knowledge about the food they serve. <br/><br/>The food ordered:-<br/><br/>Sushi:- California roll, crab stick, avocado<br/>Baked carb and truffle custard srilankan crab meat<br/>Udon chicken noodles<br/>Jaggery cheese cake with elder flower scented pineapple carpaccio<br/><br/>And the last which makes your mood even more is <br/><br/>Zinfandel rose wine. <br/><br/>All the images are not there but definitely putting the ones I clicked<br/><br/>Overall the place is superb and definitely, it is a must must go. <br/><br/>Ambience:- 5/5<br/>Food:- 4/5<br/>Staff:- 3.5/5 <br/>Service:- 3.5/5<br/>Mood set:- 5/5

Had a wonderful meal , delivered in superb and carefully designed packaging and great attention to every detail. A rare case where take away was as great an experience as in restaurant dining.<br/>This is service you have to try.

Had a wonderful home delivery experience with Tataki during this depressing lockdown. Great service and quality of food as usual! We Loved every bit of it! Right from the punctual delivery to the exceptional packaging. Superb! Keep it up you guys! Great job! <br/>The food was simply amazing🤩

Lunch this afternoon was at Tataki. Started with Salmon nigri and Crunchy Prawn ebi roll. Both were decent. Next to follow was Malaysian Prawn in butter pepper which was excellent. Main course was Lamb Massamam curry. Cooked well and tasted really nice. The prawn and curry were the best dishes. Decent ambience and service. The meal for 2 was 2550 all inclusive

I think the best Sushi I have tried so far . Even tasted the dumpling which were freaking amazing along with some pork belly and jasmine rice . And to end it up with the hazelnut brownie and chocolate sorbet which took me<br/>On cloud nine . And finally we were served a complimentary burnt charcoal coconut ice cream which was mouth watering .<br/>These are some of the must haves here<br/>Apart from the tasty food , very chique ambience and friendly staff.<br/>Would highly recommend this place to all my friends.

I would mostly go there again for sushi, I think it was fresh n tasty , other food is okay.

Not as expected ! <br/><br/>I’m was drawn to this place purely due to the fancy images and hype the place has . To be clear I have to say the menu is quite extravagant but what you get is quite deceiving! <br/>I was quite disappointed with the overpowering sweet flavour on all the food items we tried and the fried rice contains sweet corn and peas which didn’t suit my taste. <br/><br/>The sushi was good but I have tried better, the noodles were good again but not something to be wowed by! The chicken bao option suggested was nothing but Panko fried chicken and sauce and what we got were 2 baos in a plate, dint expect such small portions ... <br/><br/>As a one time experience it was quite ok but not something I’d look forward to visit again...

Simply out of the world Sushis. Tataki is the answer to authentic Japanese and Asian food in Goa. The place is packed on weekends so a reservation always helps.

Awesome place for Asian cuisine!<br/>Elaborate menu, service was excellent and prompt! Overall great experience
The Bearded Gastronome
Tataki has been on my go to places since it was launched. But according to me it hasn't lived up to the hype. The ambience is too dark making it feel more like a nightclub than a fine dine restaurant. It was very difficult to get the attention of a server every time we wanted to order for something. The drinks were pretty average while the food too wasn't as impressive as we thought it would be. There were a lot of complex flavors in the sushi making it one of my favorite in Goa. The one dish I didn't quite like was the crab custard which was too rich for my liking. Being a fine dine the price is understandably high.

Tataki is located in Fontainhas and serves a variety of amazing Asian food.<br/>Dish: Chicken Phad Thai<br/>Rating: 9.5/10<br/>Stir-fried rice noodles from the streets of Bangkok<br/><br/>Dish: Goan peri peri chicken dumpling<br/>Rating: 9.3/10<br/><br/>Dish: Charcoal black and white dumplings cream cheese and truffle<br/>Rating : 8.3/10<br/><br/>Dish: katsu chicken, cucumber and teriyaki chicken bao<br/>Rating: 9.5/10<br/><br/>Dish: Sushi rolls (Non Vegetarian)<br/>Rating: 9.6/10

Great place with finesse. Enjoyed the food.

One of the best Asian themed restaurant in town. Was on the wishlist for a very long time. Beautiful ambience with touch of cherry blossoms tree hanging on top of the bar and on the side wall. Huge cane lamp shades hanging over the ceiling. Everything we tried was just like the name suggests....you feel like immersing yourself in beautiful soul satisfying burst of flavours. My favourite most was the cured tuna truffle pizzettes, just one bite and an unforgettable taste lingers on..... Non-veg sushi platter is another hit. Service staff is quite polite and prompt. Overall we enjoyed the place, people, cuisine and music. I would like to add the amazing DJ they have who actually added percussion to every song he played on CD and this just made the music much more happening. Highly recommend this place to every Asian cuisine lovers.
Ved Sardessai
The ambience is one of the best you will get in Panjim. The charcoal dim sums ,mushroom cigar, udon noddles are a must try,the sushi is excellent and the mocktails are a must try!!!!

Tataki certainly does justice to its title - Immersive Asian Dining. We ordered a veg sushi platter and Phad Thai. None was short of being perfect. Can't fret about the slow service as the place was packed. Overall had a great time here and will surely come back to try the other sushis.
Manuj Chauhan

Dining to a whole new level.🥂 Tataki is an Asian food spot serving authentic cuisine with an amazing ambience. 🦐This place has beautiful interiors. Their presentation is really creative especially for drinks.Their staff too is very welcoming. There is nothing to worry about parking as they have valet service.

Nice cocktails, decent portion size and very quirky decor. Taste-wise it is good but not out of this world. A little heavy on the pocket too.
Tarun Mehrotra
Amazing place for good pan asian cuisine.<br/>Try the sushi and some nice thai curries<br/>Our waiter Sandeep took phenomenal care<br/>Very courteous indeed.<br/>Overall a nice experience

Just had a really nice lunch !! Service & ambience was amazing. The 🍣 was really nice and had the right amout of zing and crunch to cut through the protein. The salmon variant needs a little bit of zing to cut through the fat.<br/>The pad thai tasted amazing !!! But could have been presented in it's traditional self (a rustic bowl maybe ?) To make the colors pop !! But all in all a good dish.<br/>For dessert i ordered the Panna cotta the mango reduction was amazing and the Panna cotta it's was firm and relatively jiggly ( no complaints at all ) the in mouth texture was smooth and the dish balanced itself out perfectly<br/><br/>Had a great experience ! A must visit if you are in Panjim

Tataki Immersive dining, the new kid on the block is an enduring love affair with Asian cuisine. And when you pair it with a fine dining experience, you know you're in for something truly delicious!<br/><br/>Ambience is quite enchanting, vintage yet chic.<br/>Located at the the upscale Fontainhas, Tataki also boasts of the view of the Atal Sethu. Ofcourse, better appreciated at night.<br/><br/>I opted for 'Berry good', a strawberry and watermelon infused vodka. Mild, though refreshing it well complemented the starters.<br/>My boyfriend ordered 'Blush of Rose' a rum and merlot wine concoction, a tad bit strong, but highly recommended if you're into rum based cocktails.<br/><br/>'Roll & Roll, tuna, salmon and ebi tempura sushi was beautifully presented, colourful and vibrant.<br/>The cream cheese topping really tied the dish well together. Has to be the best sushi I've had in Goa.<br/>Fresh tiger prawn and truffle har gow dimsums were delightful! Prawns were fresh and tender.<br/><br/>Kung Pao chicken is good, however peanuts were scarce. It's great with Fried rice or Chahan.<br/><br/>As for desserts, they have a set menu of few delectable desserts.<br/>It was nice of the Head chef to come over to our table, interact with us and on his recommendation we ordered the chocolate pave, honeycomb and tender coconut/activated charcoal ice cream, a dark chocolate based dessert, each element executed to perfection.<br/>It's better to call and secure a table as it can get busy, especially over the weekend.<br/>Will visit again for sure. Kudos to the team!<br/>

The food was amazing! The service given by SANDEEP was noteworthy. Thanks to him, my family had an amazing time!<br/>

Hyped. Food is not great. Average taste. So found it expensive when compared to the taste. Inside ambience is good. <br/><br/>Good whiskey selection though. Waiters are kind. Chef was nice enough to come out and say hello. Sorry man. Just my honest opinion about the food. Others may not feel the same. <br/><br/>I would not go again.

Excellent service , the best in Goa , very good food with amazing ambience, a truly enjoyable dinner at very reasonable prices

Beautiful inside and out. Tataki stands out at the prime location in panjim (walking distance from the bustand, opposite DTR) in a beautiful Urban Portuguese style building.<br/>It's service deserves a gold star and it's lovely to see the owner taking such good care of his guests.<br/>The array of cocktails is unique and we did try quite a few, the feni cocktail and black color gin based cocktail stood out graciously.<br/>The ambience is good, kuddos to achieving great lighting.<br/>The food is very tasty, portions are small as one would expect in a place like this. The prawn sushi, chicken dumpling, Kung Pao chicken were very good. My company loved the prawn pudding and recommend it greatly.<br/>It is heavy on the pocket & one should be ready to Shell out at least 1k for the wine & dine.<br/>Also it's bathroom has a great view of atal sethu, sounds wierd when you read it, but the view is awesome.

Came in here with my boyfriend for a dinner date, The staff on your team is really polite and pleasant to talk to. Ambience was great. Food was delicious. <br/>This place wasn’t dead for a Thursday evening. We ordered the chef’s special which was guided by our server Sandip, it was the Vietnamese beef starters and that was our favourite! Sandip is an excellent and amazing staff to have for.<br/>Kudos to your team!
Sohan Sirvoicar
Tataki takes dining experience to a whole new level. With its exotic ambience, delicious food, courteous staff and quick service tataki has hit the spot, kudos for that.<br/><br/>Dishes to try:<br/>1 rock and roll tuna, salmon and ebi (shrimp) tempura- 8 tasty pieces of sushi lined up to resemble a shrimp. The best sushi I have had till date. Would highly recommend this dish<br/><br/>2 Chahan- sticky rice tossed in a delectable gravy . Unlike fried rice it not too dry and does not require a gravy item.<br/><br/>3 Kung pao chicken- paired up really well with udon noodles.<br/><br/>4 Black bean chicken<br/><br/>5 buttermilk pannacotta - really loved the pannacotta but not a big fan of the water chestnut🤷‍♂️.<br/><br/>Place is usually crowded and prior booking may be required. Parking is not much of an issue because of valet parking. Only the portion sizes need a little improvement.
Rashmi Viegas
The food is really good, but a I feel it is overpriced. however, if you want good sushi, you've got to come here. The desserts also are amazing! The ambiance is also lovely!

great setup..fab food..quick service..loved it..went on a friday date night while on vacay on suggestion of some local friends and i must say did not regret it at all..sat in their al fresco area had starters and it rained so had main course inside with a view of the colorful atal setu flyover..will go again while visiting goa

Good food and nice ambience!<br/>Would suggest it for asian food lover...<br/>The food was really tasty.<br/>The overall experience was good♥️<br/>And there is no tension of parking coz they have valet service💁

Beautiful place tucked away in Fontainhas, with lipsmacking asian food and warm interiors. Sushi was brilliant. Sandip was very helpful to help us decide and recommended the best gin house concoction. Must try!

Great food , bit on the pricier side ,but it feels worth it .<br/>Chef Padam was very courteus , Overall it was a good dining experience . Would love to come back for more sushi .<br/>

Would ideally give a 3.5 🌟 but zomato doesn't believe in decimals,so I'm gonna be nice and give a 4.<br/>Been waiting for a while to visit but was a bit of a let down. The ambience is fantastic, loved the coasters especially.<br/>The drinks were fantastic especially the Black Rock with activated charcoal infused gin, fantastic!<br/>The sushi good but not great, we had the rock and roll sushi and the crispy tuna roll, wasn't a big fan of the amount of the cream cheese in them though, spoiled the texture for me<br/>The Vietnamese beef also was good not great, especially the overdose of the sauce in there<br/>The butter garlic prawn dumplings leave a lot to be desired, disappointing at best especially due to some funky aftertaste.<br/>The highlight was the crab and truffle bake, fantastically done, although the quantity was disappointing, especially since it was so good<br/>The desserts fantastically presented, especially the honeycomb with the chocolate pave, however the chocolate pave was way too sense and is quite a struggle to get through for one person, the honeycomb makes up for it though<br/>The brownie with the chocolate sorbet was good not great though again..<br/>All in all, a must visit, unfortunately tataki leaves me feeling good about my meal, not great..!!!

Tataki is a newly opened place in Panjim, serving Asian cuisine. I would suggest you to reserve a spot or you will have to wait for the tables to clear up! I was lucky enough to get a table without reservation as is was lunch time on a Sunday! This place has beautiful interiors .. love the vibe of this place.. Some great live music and delicious food. I'd recommend you to try their sushi and phad thai chicken. The dumplings were pretty decent too! Their staff is very welcoming and friendly ..

Tataki is the latest asian food spot serving authentic cuisine, with amazing ambience.<br/>Reservation is must, especially on Saturday/sunday.<br/>The place is totally packed. Luckily we got outside seating in the balcony which was very congested.<br/>Forget about the mosquitoes, but the heavy rains spoiled our dinner.<br/><br/>From the starters,<br/>Dumplings were delicious and mushroom cigars were too cold and not upto the mark.<br/><br/>Main course was not that great in taste.<br/><br/>Desserts were yummy.<br/>Hazelnut brownie was very tasty.<br/><br/>service was too slow .<br/>We had to wait for an hour or more to get main course.<br/>And 20-25mins to get the desserts.<br/><br/>The Portions are too less for the price.<br/><br/>I hope the service and food taste improves when we visit it next time to give it a second try.<br/><br/>

Amazing pan Asian food. We are from Mumbai and had come to goa for a small holiday with some friends. Just happened to notice this place and were immediately attracted to the decor and vibe of this place. The food was equally impressive. There wasn't even one dish that was sub par. My compliments to the chef. Hope you open an outlet in Mumbai as well

This Asian upscale restaurant serves One of the best sushi’s in town. and the cocktails are simply excellent.<br/><br/>The ambience , the food, the drinks and the entire presentation of the place on the whole is a wonderful experience.

comfortable and cozy place to relax and enjoy Asian cuisine<br/><br/>We enjoyed the soup and starters.. Tempuras and mushroom dumplings were too 👍 good.<br/><br/>Burnt garlic fried rice was okay average.. The dips especially the red chilly oil was nice.<br/><br/>As everyone said reservation is must.. We were lucky as it was Sunday early dinner.<br/><br/>Must place to visit.<br/><br/>Word of appreciation for server Ganesh, he was very polit, pleasant and quick at service. Others seemed lost for time.

I kept hearing good things about Tataki, but the actual experience way surpassed my expectations. From the moment you enter the lovely building, where Tataki is housed , your sensory stimulation takes over.<br/>As you board the elevator to the restaurant, you're sure that this is going to be very special. At the entrance, the well trained staff , warmly, usher you in and thus begins the gastronomic journey!<br/>Akshay Quenim and team have put together a fine dining experience, like none other, in Panjim.<br/><br/>The cream cheese cigars just melted in the mouth, as did the chicken liver pate ones.<br/>Malay style butter Garlic lobster was just too yummylicious. Being a huge crab lover i just devoured the Singaporean Crab custard tarts.<br/>I was already beginning to feel pretty full, when i made my way to the Sushi Bar. The Crunchy Asparagus, Spicy Salmon Roll with the wasabe and soya was heavenly.<br/>I was ready to ditch the main course, already being in Food Coma but decided to overeat that evening. And believe me, it was well worth it!<br/>The dessert tasting plate, with Jaggery Cheesecake and Mocha ice cream were great finishers to a perfectly delectable meal.<br/>I think Team Tataki has put in a lot of thought into the menu and dining experience.<br/>Take a bow, Akshay Quenim!<br/>This immersive dining experience is something to look forward to.

We had an amazing experience at Tataki few days back when we went there for lunch ..The food was amazing and we kept ordering for more..The staff and service was superb...would definitely like to visit again and recommend too ..<br/>

This place is just surreal!<br/>This is the latest Asian food spot ,serving the perfect authentic cuisine! <br/>This place demands prior reservations and honestly, cannot blame them because given the overall experience, this place is bound to be packed, for sure! <br/>To start off, the ambiance is super serene and it provides with a fine dining experience!<br/>Quite a big place with sufficient seating arrangement and brilliant service! The decor to this place is just exquisite! It has beautiful pieces hanging on top, art on glass, paintings embedded in the upper wall (unfortunately couldn’t get all the pictures) and just the right vibe! <br/>The service here is very prompt and the servers there, are very friendly, warm and also very suggestive!<br/>Speaking about the food, it serves various Asian cuisines starting from sushi to dumplings to savoury to noodles! Their dessert menu is one of a kind.<br/>Me, being a sushi lover, hit it off with the California crab stick with avocado sushi! 8 beautiful sushi pieces along with the usual, soy sauce , wasabi and ginger slices, was just very delicious! <br/>Along with sushi we ordered some chicken dumplings(I do not remember the full name of the dish 😅) which came in the bamboo steamer along with some soup/ sauce kinda thing! Dumplings were, of course, tasty but what stole the show was the soup! It was enriched in Asian flavours and a treat to the pallet! <br/>For the main course, we ordered Chicken Phad Thai noodles and on the servers suggestion, Kung pao chicken! The former was accompanied with a bowl of nuts and chilli flakes. The noodle is worth trying for all noodle lovers (and those not too). Besides being a visual treat, these noodles were just lip-smacking with the nuts adding crunchiness to it! <br/>As for the kung pao chicken ,it was scrumptious! The chicken was perfectly cooked and the sweet-sticky taste it had, was just lovely! <br/>To end off, we ordered the blonde hazelnut brownie and oh-good-heavens! <br/>The dessert was DIVINE! All the components complemented each other perfectly well! <br/>Definitely a must try ! Do visit <br/>
Sonali Lotlikar
Wonderful ambience.. amazing food.<br/>One thing that stood out was the friendly service.. Sandip went out of his way to suggest us food and make us comfortable.<br/>Appreciate such service a 100%<br/>Kudos !<br/>

So we tried this newly opened place and we loved it. Being a vegetarian food options were good. We loved the dumplings and corn charred starter. Veg fried rice was brilliant that stickiness, taste and authentic taste. Pad thai noodles with peanuts and hint of lemon all came along and taste was unbeatable. Veg sushi was alright dint taste that good. <br/>I usually share a desert with whomsoever I go but I ordered my desert and I simply couldn't share it.
Akshay Gujar
New place in town! Much talked about and definitely lived up to the hype and reviews!<br/>Posh ambience apt for a lovely dinner setting! Lovely balcony seating and bar setup. Place is located in heart of panaji city. Ambiance is Good and live music quickly sets u in hungry mood. Staff is humble and good at suggesting you the best from menu.<br/>tried Lotus stem with chilli ginger and it's excellent. Tried hot and sour soup but it's Consistency was thick and appeared as if u are taking a cough syrup .. Food is tasty and does satisfy your mind but doesn't fill ur stomach.. quantity if increased by 15% it would draw me again and again at this place.<br/><br/>

Truly the best Asian cuisine in Goa. Can rate it amongst the best in India. The food, atmosphere and drinks truly immerse you into an impressive fine dine experience.

After much thought over the past few days, i have decided to write my review of Tataki which i visited for lunch on the 17th of June 2019. While the set-up and decor of the place is very impressive, i was let down by the food. For the price points charged, the portions were very small. To make matters worse, i found a piece of plastic in the dessert that i ordered. I was lucky to have not swallowed it. The restaurant manager Miss Bhandari and the chef concerned were gracious enough to apologise for the same and they waived charges for the same. All the same, this was a potential health/hygiene violation. Something like this is simply not acceptable from the family that has given us Pan Asian Bowl and Goa's beloved Goenchin. If not for the dessert fiasco, i probably would have given a 4 or 5 star rating to Tataki.<br/><br/>That being said, my best compliments to Akshay Quenim & his staff at Tataki for bringing this upmarket Asian dining experience to Panjim. I plan to be back for more. Hope your standards improve.<br/><br/>Rahul Matias Lemos<br/><br/>Fort Aguada Goa<br/>+919767240387

Clearly a 5/5 rating for Tataki 🤩 It’s the newest place in the capital city serving delicious Asian cuisine. The vibes are amazing for your Saturday night. The service is quick with the owner himself attending the customers. The ambiance and crowd is decent. They also offer you valet parking which is a must as Tataki is located in the main city area. Only drawback would be the waiting period. We had to wait for about 75 mins to get a table. Hence reservation is a must. However during lunch hours it’s comparative less crowded. We had a variety of starters and mocktails. The presentation is quite creative especially of the drinks. Food quality and quantity is pretty good. A must visit place for a foodie.

Ambience - 2/5<br/>Food - 4/5<br/>Service- 2/5<br/><br/>The seating outside in the balcony is congested. It is not at all meant for 4 tables. Couldn't feel my legs when i got up after the meal.<br/><br/>The food quantity is low but quality is very good.<br/><br/>Service was very slow. I had to wait over half an hour between starters and main course and also another 10 min extra for the bill.
Schaefer Fernandes
This is an awesome place with amazing food. I suggest that you should reserve a table or wait, but it's worth the wait too. Awesome staff and service. Ambiance is too good.
Shania Mascarenhas
Right from the ambience to the service to the food, it was excellent! Definitely a must go-to place.<br/><br/>Food suggestions here would include the rock n roll tuna, salmon and ebit tempura sushi, fresh tiger prawn and truffle har gow dumplings and the three pepper lamb, oyster sauce and scallions. They have some great cocktails too!
Fay D'Souza
Firstly if you're visiting Tataki, you need to make a reservation! The place was packed when we visited, luckily we had called before so we got seated outside in the balcony. The first thing I noticed was the decor, beautifully done. The servers were very friendly and although service was a bit slow I can say we they made it up but the delicious food. We tried the California Sushi roll, the duck and cherry vindaloo dumplings for starters, for the mains we tried the Thai chilly and basil duck and the hot chilli and basil fish. I loved their cocktails, very inventive incuding the sake bomb! Although we were pretty much full at this point, dessert was a must, que the Jaggery Cheesecake and Chocolate Pave 😀 A bit expensive but definitely worth it.
Jessica
I had gone there on a Saturday and the place was jam packed, the owner running about telling his staff to do things but nothing actually happening at a fast pace. Once a party left their table, the staff did not bother to set the table with the required cutlery, it was only cleared and the food wasnt brought on time. It was obvious that there was alot of chaos at the restaurant.<br/>The restaurant is packed, then there is music playing around and then a musician playing her saxophone too. There was obviously alot going on hence the customers weren't given the required attention they deserved.<br/>The food wasnt upto the mark as per the price they charged either.<br/>The only thing I really liked were the deserts and the decor of the restaurant.<br/>
Priyanka Sinari
The restaurant totally lives up to its name, giving the diners a completely immersive experience. Excellent interiors with a low ceiling concept, graffiti and a lovely fragrance of food and flowers wafting about. We tried different starters which were all delicious!Mushroom and chicken cigars which are crisp, crunchy rolls stuffed with a mousse like filling. The dumplings were so soft and steamed well. The crispy tuna sushi was a hit even with non-sushi lovers. The assorted platter was good too. Main course was average, nothing that blew our minds. We ordered green thai curry with jasmine rice, thai chilli and basil duck, phad krapao. For dessert, we tried the buttermilk pannacotta, chocolate pave and jalebi cheesecake. The pannacotta was definitely the highlight.Although they have some very different cocktails, they didnt really impress except for the whiskey sour which is actually not on their menu. Definitely visiting again though to try out the other dishes.

Straight to the point...This place is done up really well the ambience is good. The dumplings were good. we had the duck and mushroom Bao which was normal, thai red curry with jasmine rice was good. fried duck chahan was just normal nothing great.<br/>The portions are too less for the price .Also we asked for spoons to have our main course the waiter took 15 minutes to get the same.If we had to adjust and eat with the cutlery that comes to serve the dishes then it doesn't make sense to come to such a place. Also basic thing of a restaurant or a dhaba is to ask for water when customers arrive which was missed here.would recommend to have food at goenchin if you are looking for some authentic thai or orientel cuisine. The flavours at goenchin are anyday better than here.Apart from the cutlery coming in 15 minutes the bill also took about 20 minutes I had enough time to write this review.Absolutely not worth it for the price.

Had dinner here last evening and I must say that the place looks incredible. The deco and artwork certainly make this place easy on the eyes. That being said, the service, food and ambience was a let down. Menus were handed without mentioning that there are separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus. Nothing out of the ordinary. The chicken bun (not sure of the name) was just about alright. The chicken dimsums were also pretty mundane. The only savior was the prawn phad tai with chili oil that was good. The place is noisy and not intimate. Servers do not respond quickly. Inbox me for details, please.

The place was packed and I'm not surprised because the food was really good as were the drinks. Was so immersed in the food that we forgot to click pics of the mains 😂. It was my daughters bday and we were surprised with a complementary dessert platter which was yummy. The saxophone player just added to the Super evening.

What a pleasure to be here at Tataki, the place has been done so tastefully, everything about the place is so oriental....would love to be back again
