Review Black Market - Panjim

Aishwarya Krishnan
Extensive range of offerings, right from home decor and organic food stuff to sustainable fabrics. Very courteous staff. I felt that the women's accessories section was way more expensive than what it's supposed to be. Clothing is priced well and even decor items are priced on par with Westside and likes. But accessories, oh hell no! They are not worth all those thousands on the price tag.

Lovely boutique, loved all the clothes and accessories, pure Indian styles and designs. I loved the clothes I purchased here. They are really comfortable, though price is a little too high but clothes are long lasting. Will visit again soon for more purchases.

I really enjoy going to this clothing store! They have some of the best selections of Indian clothing, made from natural fibres. Along with clothes they've also got bags shoes and furniture. I've heard all their materials are sourced from rural parts of India. They've also got a few cosmetic and food items too. It's definitely worth giving this place a try. Though their prices a on the expensive side they're garments will last you a long time! The quality is up to the mark.

Good place to buy ethnic Indian clothes. They also sell wooden furniture furniture, lampshades and other artefacts. Many items are reasonably priced for the kind of value they offer.
Rosemary Bell
Wonderful ethnic furniture and furnishings shop. I have been there quite a few times and always fall in love with loads of items. Trouble is it is located near the capital city of Goa so a bit difficult to get bigger items home!!

Very good selection of quality articles; not that helpful staff. I came there very early in the morning in search of kurta. I had to ask the lady many times about where to find my size and my preferred style. Also I explained what kind of trousers I wanted, but she couldn't understand and kept suggesting the wrong style. She didn't listen to what I was telling her, otherwise she'd know what I was looking for. So the staff is not attentive, yet the products are many and of great quality. I ended up not buying anything because there were lots of stuff, but no proper guidance or advice.

Black market is one of the few restaurants in Goa I love to go to with my family. This place is truly wow and never fails to amaze me. I had gone here to dine in with my mom and we loved the food here! We so fell in love with the cocktails. Basque cheesecake is a heart stealer! It was so creamy!! We ordered it twice. That good it is. The smoked and spiced chicken baos were delish! Black market no doubt is a winner in panjim.

<br/>A new venture from Prahlad Sukhtankar after BSB, Blackmarket is refreshing and captivating. <br/>They bring to you locally sourced, fresh ingredients with a modern touch, inspired by world cuisine. <br/>The black, grey and light green hues in addition to the warm and laid back atmosphere sets a whole different vibe! <br/><br/>The Smoked and spiced Chicken Bao are to die for! The Baos are soft and pillowy, stuffed with a flavourful minced chicken. <br/>Peanut crusted fish with Orange beurre blanc was great too. Fish was perfect and the sauces complimented it well! The chef knows what he’s doing. <br/>Seared Cheat chicken, which came with some<br/>Rice, a creamy sauce and sautéed greens was perfect! Juicy chicken with lightly crisp skin. <br/>Naga prawns were good too. Prawns very tender and just cooked, however all in all the dish wasn’t as extraordinary as the rest of the course. <br/>Though limited, the menu is well thought out and all dishes come out intricately and tastefully crafted. <br/>Sadly, since I visited during near - lockdown, the menu was very limited. <br/>For dessert, the Basque Burnt Cheesecake is absolute stellar!<br/><br/>For cocktails, we went with our servers recommendation. Basil bang, Pomegranate Gin and Smoked whiskey sour were all bang on! <br/>They boast of a fine collection of wine, whiskey, tequila, coffee you can choose from.<br/><br/>Compliant with covid measures of sanitising and temperature check at entrance. Also there wasn’t a menu card, but an online selection of dishes. <br/>Excellent customer service! <br/><br/>I had a pleasant and memorable experience! <br/>Will be back to try their desserts and the Burgers!

Black Market is one of the few places that consistently maintains its quality in terms of both food and service offered. I visited Black Market when it initially opened and was blown away with the food then and I'm pleased to say that they haven't disappointed till date. The smoked and spiced chicken baos were the perfect version of dainty and delicious. The pulled pork burger and the black pepper prawns were really good. The prawns were fresh and that was evident in how flavoursome the dish turned out.The Mexican fried rice with chicken was another stand out dish. The chicken was grilled just the right amount of perfect. The only other dish vying for attention was the ghee roast pork ribs. Any restaurant which makes pork ribs wherein the meat falls off the bone is an absolute winner and Black Market has aced this category. We ended with the basque cheesecake with its silky smooth and creamy texture.<br/>All in all Black Market always matches it's top notch presentation with delicious food.

Beautiful place to spend quality time with loved ones.Ideally located in the heart of Panaji above Fab India. Great ambiance. Prompt service with a smile. Currently limited well designed menu. Every dish special. Loved the time here. Must visit place if you are in Panaji, Goa.

It was an amazing experience at Black Market Goa. Starting with the place being so cozy and the Ambience was Amazing . The wines bottles happened to remind of black sheep Bistro ,which happens to be the sister Restaurant. The Service was very impressive right from the beginning till the end of the lunch session . The Menu was quite simple and yet the food looked too good to eat . For Starters I would highly recommend the Pepper Prawns , which was a standout amongst the starters , It would've been Nice if there was Beef was in the Menu , gives a wider options. For the Main The Fish Mandovi was Good , all they didn't have was option for type of fish . For dessert the Passion and coconut was amazing 👌 , highly recommend this amongst the other dessert.

Where do I begin?? This place was an amazing discovery! Such a delicious spread of recipes and so artistically curated dishes! Edible flowers, intrinsic plating, small creative elements make the dining experience memorable and fun! With all the beauty that pleases the eyes, there's no compromise on the flavours and quality of the food! I had the spiced Watermelon cocktail recommended by the staff, and it was just a scintillating beginning to the dining extravaganza! The other dishes I tried out are all in the pictures here! The star dish for me was certainly the duck hash! Was one of the best duck meat dishes I've ever had! Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant for a unforgettable dining experience!

The Hungry Wolf
Fabulous experience. Loved the whole set up, from<br/>the pictures on the wall to the bar to everything. Super spaced out and an airy, chilled out ambience. I initially dropped by to try their burgers which were pretty good! A pulled pork burger and a fried chicken burger, they also have another chicken option and a veg one (no beef) but I also ended up trying the market fish main with roasted bell paper sauce and coriander relish which was cooked to perfection. I had some space for dessert and tried their highly recommended coconut and passion fruit dessert and it’s definitely one of the best desserts I’ve had in Goa. So well balanced with different flavours coming together to create a masterpiece. Their cocktails were also top notch! <br/><br/>All in all a wonderful experience, one of those rare places where everything from starters to mains to dessert to cocktails are all carefully thought of and prepared and executed really well. Friendly and quick service too!

Had an incredible dining experience at BlackMarketGoa. Tried duck & chicken appetisers & was blown away with the presentation. One of the newest additions in my personal list of Best Restaurants in Goa! <br/><br/>We tried the passion fruit & honeycomb cake Dessert. Delicious. Would love to be back soon, specially to try their Sunday burgers!

A must visit place when visiting Goa. Lovely ambience and service. Known for their cocktails, I ordered their spiced watermelon - a mildly spiced white rum based drink, this was out of the world. For starters, I tried black pepper prawns and pork. These too were amazing.

Very nice ambiance! Must visit this place and try the spiced chicken bao, calamari. Friendly staff. Will definitely visit again

Great ambience...amazing cocktails...and great food. Highly recommended

Visited the place with a lot of mixed feedback, regarding the portion size and type of dishes. So was a little apprehensive of trying out the food. But I must say, I wasnt disappointed. The menu is curated very beautifully and aptly for the Goan crowds as well as tourists. As someone who prefers food close to home, I was in for a surprise. So many local ingredients have been used with a fusion twist, it was a delightful experience dining at Black Market. The second time around impressed us even more. Thanks for having us over! 🙂
Holiday Foodie
I believe it's an offshoot of Black sheep bistro and we headed there when they had just opened up a few weeks before.. love the ambience and the modern interiors. The colour grey is definitely a great addition for a place which plays with fusion food.again, just like the experience at Black sheep I tried the churros and found the same problem.. we ordered 6 more dishes and they were all fantastic.. an advice to the kitchen team, please try looking at the churros dish when it is sitting in the table for more than 60seconds.<br/><br/>Drinks are wonderful and definitely a great place to hang out with friends over a drink or few..<br/><br/>Will definitely come back for the ambience and drinks!

We absolutely loved our experience at Black Market. Right from the door man, who was so courteous, to the food, which was amazing, there was nothing that we could fault. The theek mirsang cocktail was seriously yum and the pulled pork ribs were lovely. The passionfruit dessert knocked our socks off! We loved it!

For mains the Prawn Adodo, Chicken Barbarossa and Tribal Chicken and the Passion Fruit Tart and the best Cheesecake I've ever had ! Akash was a brilliant server. Well done Chef Aditya and thanks Prahlad for another amazing restaurant.

A newly opened Black Market at Campal’s Braganza Bungalow, the gorgeous Art Deco building have gain lots of visitors in a very short span of time. This is the another gem by the famous The Black Sheep Bistro. This place have my heart even though I have visited only once during my Goa trip. I had my Christmas family dinner here. The decor here have caught my attention. Perfect cozy ambient lightning with such a precise details. Charcoal on canvas artworks by Harshada Kerkar will steal your heart. There are vintage photographs of the city which kinda nostalgic the time old people of Goans visits :) <br/><br/>They have small plates and big plates and enough for one person, so you get a chance to stuff your face with more varieties. The plating is absolutely gorgeous! Much like The Black Sheep Bistro, Black Market is also promoting sustainable farming and hence the only use local produce products only. Even the liquor is locally sourced too! <br/><br/>We had our warm Christmas meal - green peas + asparagus soup, market fish (pan seared fish, roasted bell pepper sauce, coriander relish, shrimp crackers and tossed leafy vegetables) from big plates and sautéed vegetables in side dish. The meal was enough two of us, my mother and I are always have less appetite. <br/><br/>Highly recommended if you are looking for a little extra cozy dining with delicious local sourced food with your friends / family or planning a dinner date with the special one. The staff here will make sure you have a memorable dining every single time you visit Black Market.

I visited Black Market about a month ago and somehow missed out on posting my review. This is an amazing place with awesome staff. They are always ready to attend to you. The food was delicious. With regards to the presentation, it was more like just out of MasterChef kitchen. Would recommend to visit the place if in panjim<br/><br/>I have posted some pictures
Priya
Exquisite food varieties served in a gracious ambience by warm people makes the experience elite & unique.<br/><br/>Navelon - our waiter - ensured that we enjoyed our dishes and the experience.<br/><br/>I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to have a distinguished dining experience.

Wanted to write this review from a long time but couldn't do it coz I never got to take the pics of the food I ordered. Why? The food was too tasty to wait and click a pic. So this time I made sure I do it somehow. And here I am writing about this awesome place. The other venture of this group ie BSB has always been my favorite hang out place and when I got to know about black market I was very excited to visit this one. The food is yummy as expected, with small twist in all their dishes, beautiful presentation and most importantly, healthy. Cocktails and mocktails too are quite innovative. The staff very courteous, ambience is wonderful, overall a very lively and lovely place. Trust me I am a regular here. A must visit place when in panaji.

Very innovative bar and food menu. Delicious food, super friendly staff and impeccable and efficient service, superlative cocktails. Lovely ambiance.
The Tingling Taste Buds
"The preparation of good food is merely another expression of art" - Dione Lucas. The Black Market is not just a regular restaurant, but is indeed an experience. They have an array of beautiful artworks displayed all over the restaurant, but it doesn't stop there. Each plate of the delicious food served here is an artwork in itself bearing an immense amount of finesse and clarity of thought. The prices may be a little on the higher side, but it is surely worth every penny. That being said, there are a few small aspects that could be touched upon.<br/><br/>We tried the following:<br/>1) Drinks- Rum Kadipatta, Watermelon Rum, Chamomile Rum, Feni Jalapeno<br/>2) Starters- Black Pepper Prawns, Pork Belly, Peas & Cottage Cheese Taco<br/>3) Mains- Blackmarket Chicken, Market Fish, Dakshin Duck, Goat Royale<br/>4) Desserts- Lemon + Coconut, Mango Dolly<br/><br/>Among the drinks our favourite was the Rum Kadipatta, the fresh warmth and mellow sweetness of ginger, together with the wine and the bite of the kadipatta leaves was a delicious concoction.<br/><br/>As simple as it may sound, don't underestimate the flavour profile exhibited by the black pepper prawns. The pork belly isn't available on the menu as a starter but was recommended to us by our brilliant server and it was an absolute hit. More so, the dish is served with a sweet, spicy and tangy coriander based salsa on top of the pork that complimented it well.Although being more oriented towards non veg cuisine, we couldn't resist trying the peas taco. The tacos were tasty but unfortunately was a little underwhelming in comparison to the other dishes.<br/><br/>A perfectly cooked fillet of kingfish served with an earthy roasted bell pepper sauce, a zesty coriander relish and some prawn crackers, the Market Fish is enjoyable as a whole.<br/><br/>The flavour combination of the duck is well thought of. However, it lacked a bit of flavour as compared to the other dishes available. "Some things are worth waiting for.." Slow cooked and deliciously flavoured goat shoulder that just pulls apart at the slightest touch, served with a spiced onion sauce imparting some southern flavours and a brown butter foam that gives it an enticing look. This dish was delicious and super yum.<br/><br/>Black Market is all about finesse, and the desserts spoke no less of it. The Lemon + Coconut had lots of flavours on one plate but they all worked so well with each other. The Mango Dolly however is ingenious! Flavours that you wouldn't even think of putting together, all on one plate, and they work so well. Definitely one of our all time favourites.<br/><br/>Check out the detailed review on our Instagram page<br/>Part 1: instagram.com/p/B3CTAe2jLZu<br/>Part 2: instagram.com/p/B3Gc6oLjgxz<br/>Part 3: instagram.com/p/B3JvUf7jiih<br/>Part 4: instagram.com/p/B3M3GXtjUT4

It was perplexed in the beginning as to which cocktail should I placed the order for? Because they allll seemed so good. If I remember his name correctly, Akshay came to the rescue for the night. Giggle water after a lot of questions and answers was my poison for the night. The starters which were out servers favourite were a delight to me and friend's palate. The lotus stem although sealed the deal for us. We were left asking for me even the next morning while we looked up if Black Market does home delivery or not? Well, this wasn't it. We were super enthusiastic about seeing the kitchen of this wonderful outlet and on asking, were welcomed with a warm smile to the space where all the magic happens. It was our pleasure to meet Aditya (the chef). He spoke with us about his kitchen with utmost passion and it super inspiring to see such a tidy kitchen. Cheers to Black Market Team! We will surely visit again for the lotus stem just to giggle over some water!
Old Fashioned
Wow Black Market Nothing to compare with this restaurant, they are the creator of the best food in Town. I was there at their old restaurant "BSB" with my wife and was suggested to me by a young manager over there who got great knowledge about their product to visit Black Market as their other restaurant and here I felt that both the places are equally awesome. 🍻🍻 👏

Loved this place. It was a good find right in the heart of Panjim. The restaurant is located in a quiet bylane right next to Fabindia. Interiors are rustic, quirky and quite tastefully done with an old world charm. Their cocktail menu is very completely different from what you’ll find at your usual bars. I would recommend the La Vie En Rose and Basil Bang - very nicely done! Now coming to their tap beer - after a long time I found freshly brewed beer in Goa which is actually tasty too. Food was delicious but the best part was their interesting presentation. Felt like I was in a Michelin star restaurant. We tried the spiced chicken bao, tribal chicken, blackmarket chicken and buttermilk fried chicken bytes. Thoroughly enjoying my evening here with friends and have bookmarked this place amongst my Goa frequenters!!
Tanz !!
Black Market Review<br/><br/>Some place leave those ever lasting impressions..about food, service, ambience etc etc...and here is the one...the biggest take away ..."Try anything without a doubt". Whatever we ordered was outstanding!!<br/><br/>From my simple freshly brewed black coffee to some amazing desserts!<br/><br/>So, chicken broth soup was unique with a pinch of Asia flavours so tricky if u don't like fish sauce. Another starter, chicken toastada had a drama to it, a crisp nacos base with some soft chicken mince, topped with mint mayo and garnished green. Yum yum!<br/><br/>My die for dish here was "fish Mandovi" which was just divine with some mustard and lentils based thick sauce as a base which I actually ordered by sides and had it in extras. Interesting cheat chicken was best for moms like me who are trying their best to make kiddies take some greens intake.<br/><br/>A separate para dedications is needed for desserts here !! Possibly the best looking as well as tasting lemon tart I have had in my life. Citrus really elevates overall taste of it. There was another desert, caramelised cheese cake which evident WOW factor to it.<br/>It was a magical time we had here, all thanks to our fren Pawan for strongly recommending this place. We will be back soon!

We spent a long weekend in Goa and visited twice because we liked Black Market so much. It's the most interesting meal I've eaten in a while and I do wish they would open in Bombay as well. Not only is the food excellent, the space is beautiful and service is just right - friendly, knowledgable, helpful and prompt. While everything was delicious, highlights were the duck hash and basque cheesecake. Can't wait to visit here again!
Kavita Arora
What a fantastic place! Service is too good to be true, staff really take the effort to give you the best possible dining experience you could hope for! My favourites were the Parmesan Churros, and even though it is not on the menu (yet) they have a beautiful Honeycomb Cake for dessert that just knocked my socks off :) Well done Black Market team!

Absolutely loved this place. Amazing food. Actually just ask the waiter for his recommendations. Our waiter helped us with our order and everything was amazing. My favourite was the Lemon stem dish. That was something new and amazing. And ofcourse the bao. The place is beautiful and big enough to accommodate groups. Must try.

Perfect setting with a beautiful ambience. The staff was courteous and the food was also delivered on time. Prices slightly on the higher side but I will visit again

We were looking for a place in Panjim to eat, stumbled upon this place over zomato and gave it a try. Word are less to explain my experience. The place is very beautifully curated and so was the food. <br/><br/>We ordered a wide variety of drinks and starters from duck to mushrooms. Everything tasted absolutely amazing.
Vienna Da Costa
The place is an absolute delight and the ambience of a fine dining restaurant does check all the boxes for a perfect date night. The interiors of this place is modern and chic and mostly leaning towards the colours black, white and green. This newly opened restaurant did create a lot of buzz and hype that I needed to check it out for myself and it didn't disappoint me at all.<br/><br/>For Starters, we ordered the Parmesan Churro's which was a crowd favorite as it was delicious,<br/>Coorg Chicken taco, Spicy Chicken bao, black pepper Prawns which were all decent and packed with alot of flavours but however the quantity of the starters seems less for the amount and everything was priced between rs 350 to rs 450.<br/><br/>For main course, we had gnocchi Portuguesa, pulled pork ribs and cheat chicken which was paired beautifully with our spiced watermelon & Dona Paula cocktails ( you can ask for mocktails version as well )<br/><br/>Last but not the least, my favourite course would be the desserts, we ordered the Chocolate, Mango Dolly and the Lemon and coconut which were excellent except for the fact that the Mango granita from mango dolly was so rock hard frozen that we couldn't scope out anything properly.<br/><br/>Each dish served out from the kitchen was so sophisticated and elegantly platted something you would find in a high end resort. My experience was splendid and hopefully try out the other dishes as well.
Mridula Priya
We arrived at this place late in the afternoon (nearing the kitchen closing time). They accommodated us nevertheless. The service was impeccable. The servers suggested Chicken Bao and Sheet Chicken. The meal was very unlike other Goan restaurants. Overall a great experience.

Great ambiance, excellent cocktails and the food was Exceptional... Added to my list of favorite restaurants in Goa, Staff was extremely professional, polite, warm and welcoming, Credit to Raj who served us, was well informed about the contents of the menu and manages to remember my orders from previous visits... 😄👍🏼

Wonderful experience with family and friends. We came visiting Goa and this place was suggested by one of our close friend living locally in Goa. Service was classic and the servers were very interactive, suggested dishes and pleasant at the same time. They even stayed back for us until we finished dinner- this shows how hospitable they are!! We had couple of starters- mushroom panisse and fried calamari n the wonderful prawn black pepper!! And then we had fish mandovi and chicken cheat for mains which was well presented and tasted even more better. Dessert was the lemon+coconut- a Goan touch international sweet. I would suggest to improve the ambiance a bit more by keeping the walls clean during rains. Rest all gets 5*
Schaefer Fernandes
There is no need to reserve a table as this place can accommodate well, the service is amazing from the person at the door to the service on your table. The food is really good and so are the cocktails. I just love the duck with corriander rice and the Goan sausage on waffle. Will be back soon.

Our last night in Goa turned out to be the best. After having a super dinner the previous day,at Black Sheep Bistro, we had an even more spectacular dinner at Black Market in Panjim. The beauty is that both the restaurants are owned by the same person, Mr Prahlad. We started of with four starters. Mushroom panisse, black pepper prawn, chicken bao and goju chicken. All the above were so delicious, that it is difficult to say which was the best. If I had to stick my neck out it would be 1 chicken bao 2 black pepper prawn followed by the goju chicken. Main course was endless. We ordered the pork roast, Market fish, fish nilgiri, fish mandovi and the goat royale. My mouth is still salivating while writing this review, just thinking of the meal. I would give all item a full 10/10. What are the chances of a restaurant giving you every item superbly cooked with great taste. To go with this you have a restaurant that excels in its service and ambience. The staff is so polite and courteous. The owner himself is very big hearted and served us three complimentary desserts. An absolutely amazing experience and if I had to choose between the two restaurants I would go with Black Market. But the difference between the two is very minimal. Keep it up. Will come back surely.
Stephanie D'Costa
Decided to try this place out for my husband's birthday. Made a reservation and Raj was really polite and hospitable over the phone. As we reached the restaurant even before I could tell him my name for the reservation he knew it was us and instantly he made us feel very welcome to the restaurant. We tried the Chicken Tacos, The Roast Pork and the Duck small spoon, they were all really really tasty. For mains we had the Gnocchi with Chorizo again yum yum yum and the Pork Belly Adobo Which was so good. All in all the food was really really good. Only criticism would be maybe slightly bigger portions can be incorporated. Thanks once again Raj for all the suggestions oh and not to forget the Watermelon and Rum cocktail that was delicious 😊 Cheers!!!<br/>

Recommended place in Panjim Goa. Located on the 1st floor, this is place is big and well spread out. Ample seating capacity with different sections. <br/><br/>A good variety on the menu to choose from and the server will recommend some speciality. <br/><br/>Ambience is good & clean.<br/><br/>Service is prompt & potions are good. <br/><br/>Well priced place. The pics uploaded with this review speak a lot on presentation & quantity. <br/><br/>I’ll put this down as a must visit place.

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Don’t even think of missing this place if you are close to Panjim. Fab ambience, delectable menu, great cocktails, super staff, delicious deserts and to top it all a splendid host and owner. I’d go back any day.

Supposedly with the reviews I got , black market is supposed to be an amazing place , that severs some fab dishes ! <br/>But Probably it was a bad day and I personally did not have the best experience.<br/><br/>The cocktails were simply on point i must say. The mixologist put together a fab drink for us .<br/>But the food was relatively average , not bad at al but not As great as I expected it to be.<br/><br/>Looking forward to trying this place again .

This is where I like to bring anyone who enjoys food. An amazing menu, killer drinks, just the right ambience with well trained staff. Shout out to Aakash for always recommending the best dishes to try. And another mention to the team at Black Market, you've done something amazing here. Keep it up.

I have to stress on how kind the staff is! The food just compliments the atmosphere so well. The best part: most of the ingredients are made in house.<br/>Had a great time!

I’ve longed to visit this place for quite sometime. May be this place had a low-key opening as not many people who I know are aware of it. Also it’s located in the interiors of Miramar so not easily visible to the public. However on my visit to Black market I learnt that it’s a beautiful place and can accommodate quite a lot of people. It has a good ambience with beautiful decor. The staff is super friendly and made sure we were comfortable throughout our dinning experience. What surprised me was their service speed. By the time we placed an order and visited the loo, the food was served. Food quantity is on the lower side but the presentation is beautiful. It’s more of fancy food that you pay for. We were hungry and we were four of us, thus we got to try a lot of items. We paid attention to the waiters recommendations. Prices however are on the higher side but it’s worth the dinning experience. Overall a good place if you want to have a decent date with someone you want to impress.

Black Market is a fine dining restaurant located above the Fab India store, with ample parking space and not too far away from, but in the vicinity of the hustle and bustle of Panaji City.<br/><br/>The ambience of the restaurant was dim, dark walls which held beautiful art pieces on it. Black Market offers it's patrons a choice of seating with multiple rooms each offering a different experience as one moves through them. I visited this establishment along with two of my girlfriends who I was meeting after a long time and hence, chose a rather quieter section of the restaurant.<br/><br/>The staff was courteous and helpful in selecting our dishes.<br/><br/>Appetizers<br/><br/>Chicken Bao Bae Rs. 350/-<br/>Spicy chicken, steamed Bao<br/><br/>Look: 4<br/>Taste:3.5<br/>Price: 3<br/><br/>Buttermilk fried chicken Bites Rs. 400/-<br/>Classic fried chicken Bites, pickled cucumbers and Chilli Garlic Sauce<br/><br/>Look:4<br/>Taste:4.5<br/>Price: 3.5<br/><br/>Main Course<br/><br/>Gnocchi Portuguesa Rs. 400/-<br/>Gnocchi, smoked chorizo sauce, fennel, poached eggs, coriander oil<br/><br/>Look:4.5<br/>Taste:4.5<br/>Price:4<br/><br/>Don Ram's Chicken Rs. 400/-<br/>Spiced yogurt Marinated chicken, cool cumber and mint salad, cherry tomatoes, confit baby potatoes and coriander oil<br/><br/>Look: 3.5<br/>Taste: 3<br/>Price: 3.5<br/><br/>Truffle Mac n Cheese Rs. 500/-<br/>Classic Maccaroni and Cheese, Truffle oil and Savory Crumbs<br/><br/>Look: 4<br/>Taste:5<br/>Price: 3.5<br/><br/>The dishes were accompanied by a Red Wine Sangria Pitcher (Rs. 1100/-) which served each of us two glasses of wine and was absolutely delicious!<br/><br/>Finally, Black Market offers a beautiful, delicious experience for any foodie like myself if one has the (occasional) feeling to splurge! Besides, good food is always a good investment!<br/><br/>I hope this was helpful!

They some very interesting combination of food and alcohol as well. Their infused gins are worth a try. Great place for a good dinner. It's fusion food so you won't find much of authentic Goan on the menu

1) The Food tastes both familiar and has a nice twist to it.<br/>I loved every single bite I took.<br/>The Goju Chicken (Korean) might have smelled a bit weird due to the fermented mochi but tasted good enough to make me want to pack my bags and go to Seoul.<br/>The Pumpkin Pie was a heart winner for dessert!<br/><br/>2) The Staff are so polite and warm, they even describe the different elements of the food plated infront of you to make you feel more comfortable with the different elements on your plate.<br/><br/>3) The interiors are well done and give a hip but old school vibe that I personally like<br/><br/>Blackmarket is worth more than just one visit, and I'm definitely going to be eating there again :)<br/><br/>

Amazing experience. That's what I will term the visit. Tried Feni + Jalapeno, Feni + Ginger, Lavender Gin, Gin + Basil, Confit DDF, Chicken Bao Bae, Goat Royale, Blackmarket Chicken, and Pumpkin Pie. Each and every item was so delicately prepared to perfection.<br/><br/>Its a must visit in Panaji, particularly if you love experimental food.<br/><br/>Last, but not the least, it would be a sin to not mention the super friendly staff. The suggestions, the explanations, the special cocktail prepared by Rajesh for us - simply awesome.

Amazing service, very clean and great food.. highly recommend. I especially recommend the prawn starter. It’s slightly hidden away so make sure not to miss it!

Rarely do you come across a restaurant which leaves a beautiful mark. Right from when we arrived till when we left...we had the most attentive staff.<br/>Every dish we ordered was beyond what we expected. Honestly....we were transported to a Masterchef level restaurant. Thank you for the beautiful evening!

Firstly, it just blows my mind that it's called a continental restaurant when it doesn't serve any beef. Visited this place due to the hype surrounding it but to my disappointment, was greatly let down. The staff are probably the only upside to the place at the moment. While I understand that the menu is experimental, some of the flavour profiles just seem to not make any sense. The chicken Bao while tasty is too small in size while the mankyos are average at best. For mains we had ordered the dom ram chicken and pork ribs among other dishes and while the chicken was perfectly cooked, the sauce just doesn't make sense and let's the dish down. While it's probably a culinary first for me to order a portion of pulled pork ribs which felt like it could have been a much better dish had the meat been served on the bone itself. Overall I feel like it's overall a little too pretentious with the head chef probably not having a clear idea on designing a menu.

A really inventive menu + great prep and unusually nice service! <br/>Also a really convenient place to grab a drink on the way to the airport if you're in the North

Courteous staff, minimalistic decor, pleasant ambience and innovative food. Tried the vegetable bao and the fish Nilgiri. Not to forget, the epic chibood feni cocktail 😍
