Review Tinge - Coastal Cuisines - Panjim

If the taste of curry leaves and the rich aroma of steaming hot biryanis entices you and if that sounds like a perfect treat, you have every reason to visit the Biryani Festival at @tingerestaurant in Hotel Delmon in Panjim. The place is heaven for coastal food lovers. I actually waited for the fishing ban to end to go there. The Fish Koliwada (Chonok) was fresh and just melted in the mouth. The dish originates and is inspired from kitchens of the Kolis or the fishermen of the Maharashtra region. ⁣ What’s coastal food without a bit of Kerala and Mangalore in it? The Chicken Kerala pepper fry was so succulent perfect tinge of Spicy. The Prawns Ghee roast masala was beautifully aromatic but a bit on the sweeter side. Would have preferred it a bit spicy. Went well with Aapams tho. Last but not the least the Biryani’s were much better than my expectations. Each portion serves 2-3 people. The Chicken Goli Biryani is basically Chicken meat balls cooked with the Biryani instead of Chicken pieces. The Salan that came with it was different from anything I’ve ever tried. The Kashmiri Mutton Biryani was loaded and more on the wetter side, just how I like my Biryani - Wet 💦 😂 Every dish is worth its price interms of quality and quantity. So head in to @tingerestaurant and enjoy the delicious Biryanis & coastal cuisine.

This place defines the phrase "Don't judge a book by its cover." perfectly. The food is not only extremely delicious but also quite reasonably priced. Service is great and the pace of arrival of food to your table is quite quick. The staff maintains a clean environment and a good friendly behaviour. Loved it. Would visit again. 10/10

Absolutely Loved their food. Even though I’ve been here before for non-veg, visited specifically this time because family wanted vegetarian food. We tried the Kerala Pepper Fry paneer and Veg Chettinad with Appam and Malabar paratha. This was one of the best vegetarian food I’ve had in panjim. They do really excellent food and the place has a good ambience and service. Highly recommended.

Tinge is opened at Hotel Grande Delmon in Panjim. Tinge Restaurant offers regional food from parts of India like Malwan, Tamil Nadu, Andhra, West Bengal, and Goa. Many starters are available such as Kerala potato fry, prawn soup, Caldo Verde, stuffed squids, chilly fry, salads, crispy schezwan paneer, kebab, and much more. One can also choose what style they would prefer their seafood. Some of the options are seafood with Malabar pepper masala, Kerala coconut curry, Caldeen etc . The menu at Tinge is quite expansive and to make the selection a tad bit easy, has been divided into Coastal, Goan, Oriental / Continental and North Indian. Since Tinge has positioned itself as a coastal cuisine specialty restaurant, we kind of knew what we wanted to try. My decision to skip the Goan offerings was somewhat deliberate. Simply because Tinge happens to be the only restaurant in Panjim that serves coastal cuisine from the southern and eastern part of India. Overall the place is good, must visit if you want to have a taste of coastal cuisine.

I came looking for Bengali food as I saw in their menu in Google search, it was a disappointment to find that they have discarded the same. Otherwise, the food was prepared with care, the taste was good and the service was wonderful. The unique thing was that they have covered almost all coastal cuisines of India(except the coast of Bengal and Odisha).

Tinge ❤️ During my recent Goa trip I got an opportunity to visit this lovely place located in the Panaji market. Tinge ia located in the Hotel Grande Delmon. Tinge is famous for its Coastal Food and we tried some really amazing dishes. Also we wanted to try some nice Mocktails and the Bartender sent is two special ones. We tried Prawns Ghee Roast and Kerela Chicken Fry with hot Appams. They went so good together. We also tried the Malabari Paratha and Prawns Biryani. We loved these Coastal Food Dishes. For Desserts we tried two special Goan Desserts. We had Serra Dura, a combination of condensed milk and whipped cream topped with Marie biscuits. Also we had their Bebinca Cheesecake, cheesecake with a twist. This delicious Cheesecake was made using famous Goan Dessert Bebinca. We had a great overall experience and loved the Food at Tinge. Food: 5/5 Staff: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Value for Money: 5/5

Excellent food. Every dish was really tasty here. My favourite was fish koliwada, chicken pepper fry (so succulent) and from their crab festival menu crab claws. For their main course prawns ghee roast with appam was really good too 🤗
