Good place for quick bite and cakes. All were looking good but I m black forest fan so I tried that . Cost wise at little higher side compare to Mumbai Pune. But taste same. Nice little shop and well maintained.

The first ever branch of pastry cottege. Pastry Cottage is a well-lit cafe and bistro located in Caranzalem, Panaji and Campal. They serve a wide range of cakes, pastries, and snacks. There is a seating capacity for only 4 people(check the image). This outlet is know for it's Chocolate tart, quick bites, their standard cakes and Christmas goodies. Parking for two wheelers available opposite to the branch and four wheeler parking depends entirely on your luck.

Different n quality cake , pastries and bakery products available. This is mostly a take away counter because only 2 tables are there to have it there . So if u r planning to sit there n have coffee u need to be lucky enough.

Rs 450 for half kg, this a almond cake but actually it's a black forest with almonds in garnish, I will try thier chocolate Truffle next time, cake is fresh and tastes good. Staff is friendly at store and good hygiene was maintained during my visit.

Staff was alos more for a place like this, guess they have the workshop also there. Breads, puff, biscuits and like , coffee too. We packed our stuff. Value for money. Parking available.

Pastry Cottage is well, pleasant cafeteria; located in Panjim. It’s been established since 1994 and has come a very long way. ✨<br/>I took their classic chicken club sandwich; which comes along with French fries; which I must say was a 4.5/5. The cheesy fries were also pretty good. <br/>The molten chocolate brownie w icecream wasn’t up to the mark. Could’ve been so much better; but nevertheless; was pretty okay. Lastly, was their steamed chicken momo’s which also wasn’t the best to be very honest. 🥴<br/>Also, this is my personal view on the place; many people might have had various experiences at this cafe. <br/>But overall, it’s a very cute cafe to chill and hangout w the homies. 🙂

Every time I come here this place brings back a glimpse of nostalgia, we often came here bunking our classes and to feast on the variety of bites they have here, my all time favourite was the different types of Chicken rolls they have on offer, the Chicken Cafreal roll was a personal favourite, the patties are also great here, then the Chocolate Swiss roll they have on offer is just delicious, that's definitely a must have, it has the perfect proportion of chocolate and soft sponge cake, they cream is smooth with the perfect amount of sweetness, making it the perfect gift to take to along when visiting someone,

This first outlet of Pastry Cottage and from here came so many other similar named look alike brands. Started off as a favourite for birthday cakes and also to all students studying in institutes around the outlet. The chicken mexican, plum cake and chicken patty are my top items. Now the cake shop serves good coffee as well and has recently had an upgrade. The only drawback is parking. Overall its a quick stop to pick up your daily snacks.

I FELL IN LOVE WITH WITH THE BEAUTIFUL DECOR AND CUTE SITTING ARRANGEMENT.<br/>THEY HAVE WIDE RANGE OF CAKES, PASTRIES, SNACKS AND RECENTLY INTRODUCED DRINKS MENU.<br/>THIS PLACE IS MODERATELY CROWDED THROUGHOUT THE DAY.<br/>MUST TRY: GADBAD ICECREAM, CHOCHLATE BROWNIE, GINGER ORANGE COOLER, STEAMED CHICKEN MOMOS.

Pastry Cottage is one of the oldest pastry shops in Panjim. They have 3 outlets. I have been to each outlet a few times and their products are fresh and delicious. Definitely recommended for quick bites. And the Caranzalem outlet has amazing burgers, sandwiches as well.

I visit pastry cottage everday, whenever I’m in goa. This place has cool&warm vibes. They’ve the freshest and the tastiest products available in panaji. Specifically cappuccino and eggless chocolate fudge pastry for vegans and walnut pie for egg-eaters is must try.

My go to place for savouries. Love the Mexican roll, cafreal roll, chicken pan roll. They even do takeaway fried rice and biryani bowl which are quite convenient to have on the go. Not a big fan of their pastries and cakes as they haven't gone past the old buttercream frosting, however on my recent visit I spotted them having baked cheesecakes in 3 flavours so I ordered the bluebberry one! The compote on top was barely there as they had just smeared a thin layer. The Chicken momos were horrible, not fresh at all and the filling inside was really bad, such a disappointment!

Amazing cakes, pastry's & savouries. Visiting this place since my childhood. Excellent customer service. Truly a cottage for yummy cakes. Must try

The snacks are tasty at times..but overpriced for the quality and quantity on offer. Have even recieved stale goods at times. Though some of their offerings are really tasty, have stopped going there cos of the frequent price hikes.

I would give this place an additional rating point only because of the interiors. The interiors of this place are amazing. They give you those Bangalore/Mumbai vibes. Really loved the way this place is done. It’s more of a bakery selling over the counter stuff like cakes, cookies etc. however you also get the regular cafe products like burgers, Coffee etc. A person who is a sucker for good ambience should definitely visit this place.

This place a s very positive vibe to it. I cant even start describing the kind of decor this place has. i adored every single piece of cutlery here. More than the desserts and the baked items,  my mind was occupied with the kind of beautiful decor that exists. I fell in love with this place. Right from the door mat to the funny quotes hanging on the wall to the beautiful shelf and the cute seating arrangement, I fell in love with everything here. The food here was so scrumptious.  I fell in love with the swiss rolls and the puffs they serve here. I couldn't believe my eyes when I heard the final bill. All of the goodness for such low cost? In love with this place. You should visit here when in Goa. Its the cutest place you will even see.<br/>*<br/>Happy eating :)

love the place , been going there for years, their rolls are amazing, be it vveg or chicken tikka. love the biryani and cakes.<br/>Only complaint is they run out of food very quickly, by 4 there is hardly anything left.  they need to stock more.

Pls avoid using your credit card here. The lady at the counter this evening wasn't trained properly and punched Rs 66,000 instead of Rs. 660. Luckily I noticed in the nick of time and pointed out the error. No one apologised - not she, not her manager. No one even looked apologetic. In fact they informed me, in case of a wrong transaction the money can be reversed (as if I didn't already know that!). Very disappointing attitude.

Had been to this place today at the new cafe in caranzalem. We ordered for two chicken club sandwiches. It wasn’t fresh at all. The chicken was stinking, we told the manager. He opened the sandwich and then tasted the chicken he just took it very lightly and said it’s the smell of boiled chicken. Since we are chicken eaters we do know if it’s fresh boiled chicken or stale boiled chicken. He then took the plates and said he would make fresh one and give. No sign of him coming out from the kitchen. In the end we settled in to take two parties and go. The quality of food isn’t up to the mark like before. The place is beautifully done and really good vibes there. The cappuccino and latte were really good. We were really disappointed with the chicken club sandwich.

This place has been here forever so either one would expect it so serve the same foods and keep a very consistent quality or keep inventing and serving new stuff. Unfortunately it's none of the above. This place does draw in a lot of crowd and has a fan base. I too use to be a pastry cottage loyalist for their cakes and puffs but it all sort of fizzled out. I hope they do bring in something new and surprise us all.

The low ratings just because the quality is become worse from the best. Once upon a time even the basic Black Forest pastry was a hit. Their rolls were the ones to die for. Their croissant was just amazing. Now they have either lost interest in the management or neglect the products. The almond cake, vanilla bar cake are the only ones I love.
Foodoholic Addict
If you're going here just collect your food and get out. Don't expect any kind of courtesy from this place.<br/>Staff is totally arrogant. <br/>Only plus point is their food. It's quite tasty. Their patties and prawns resois are good. Also cakes are tasty. Make sure you have a hell lot of a change as they are quite famous for giving excuses for not returning change.<br/>

I love chocolate, I tried a lot of cakes at pastry cottage and they taste quite good.. they also have a lot of other variety is cakes and snacks like patties, sandwiches and cookies !

A lone young guy was at the counter..courteous and quick with service... And to talk about their food...makes me hungry again...I had a chicken tikka roll...which was yummy..and took away 4 pastries..the name of which I can't quiet recollect...it was chocolate though.. And one had a layer of white chocolate...again one of the best foodstuffs I have ever eaten...

It feels so disgusted to haven eaten at this place, Stale food was served to us, <br/>Mushroom puff was only filled with maida and got  a apple pie in the name walnut pie.<br/>When we called back to complain, the store people misbehaved and abused us and said "Its our mistake"<br/>NO hospitality, NO humanity and NO taste.
Aishwarya Kudchadker
I like the food here, sadly. So i keep going back, but this place has the rudest staff I have ever come across in Panjim and they never ever have change. I had an incident where they had already heated and packed my order but when they realised I did not have change they literally just pulled up chairs behind the counter and sat down while I just stood there! Not to mention their quantity has gone down like crazy. If you're having a pleasant day, do not go here because they will ruin your mood completely.
Kamakshi Shenoy
Love this place only for the cakes and pastries. You can skip the savory items. The veg rolls are very oily and once it is microwaved it gets worse. The cakes are excellent! Try the mix fruit cake for special occasions. soft, creamy, moist.

We sometimes find a nice place to grab a quick bite but then we dread going there. This is one of those places which is accessible & has some good stuff but I dread only because of the arrogant staff, no courtesy whatsoever. Never even expect them to return change or talk to u properly. The savouries and pastries arent great but ok for random munching. I like their prawns risois though.

Sweet little place just next to crossword store with such beautiful pink exterior fasade does catches ur eyes especially in the afternoon. I was coming back after lunch from moms kitchen which is on the same road so when i saw the board i cudnt ressit my self to stop over at this place. It was easter day so they had lots of easter egg variations, all colorful so much that i was tempted to buy them. Their pasteries and tart are delicious. Cudnt try much so cant comment on food but bakery was too good.

Pastry Cottage is a relatively small pastry and savories shop in Panjim. The reason it deserves a special review is because it pioneered a wave of delicious savory snacks in Panjim over a decade ago, shattering the conventional chicken roll and puff that originally dominated the scene. They offer a range of fresh rolls and snacks, which I have been a fan of for the last 14 years. I'd say the pastries are decent, but not extraordinary. Go for the prawn rissois and the chicken cafreal roll.
Bakasuri
Have tried their choco chip muffins , garlic flavored breadsticks and the pastrys good stuff here. This place is in much demand during christmas for the traditional stuff that they specialise at. Missed trying out their bebincas. Next time will head for that.

I used to visit this place after school and with my sister mostly while my parents were shopping at panjim market. Their food and snacks are absolutely timeless and delicious. My favourite were the potato prawn cutlets and the chicken frankie. They have been so consistent over the years! Their pastries and swiss rolls are great too! :)
