I tried their Chicken tandoori and it was absolutely delicious.The portion size was generous and I couldn't help but lick my fingers clean. One of the best biryani restaurant in patna... Kolkata mutton dum biryani is awesome. Non veg platter is also good and enough for two person. But they just have a seating arrangement of only 4 person at one time. All food items are good and tasty. Specially mutton fry with butter naan. I giving 5 star rating for food and their staff behaviour and management... All services were top notch But Only problem is the place is very crowded. Must visit.. ❤️

The rice was not at all giving the feel of biriyani and also it was very dry and they don’t even provide raita or salad in delivery but still it can be ignored keeping the price point in mind. The main reason behind giving 4 star is that the mutton pieces were really good and a lot big in size so it actually compensated every complain. Overall, it’s a good deal! Just don’t expect too much of flavours and you’ll be happy 😃

Buy any dish, all are same, just the chicken pieces and prices differ and gravy and the taste remains same. Biryani is OK for the price range. They charge you above MRP for cold drinks, by that I mean, it's not served in a glass, they just give you the bottle and charge above MRP. The worst part is, the staff!! Rude and arrogant. Even the senior staffs. No one cares for you and your time. I ordered on call for a take away order but for my surprise, they pretended that I've not ordered and told me to order now..! Pathetic service.

It was raining all day and we exactly knew what we wanted. You'll get the juiciest chicken here for sure. We always like to have old time savory dishes when it rains, so biryani it is. adding tandoori chicken with coke makes it a good level combination. The oldest joint of biriyani mahal, as I heard but to be honest the service and behaviour didn't gave that much happiness. We ordered chicken tikka kabab which was soft , coated well with butter , it was the best item we ordered. Though we were not served with a plate to have it. We started having it in the main platter dish. When it comes to biriyani , quantity will make you more than full, but its dry , you need a separate gravy dish to have it and the pieces of mutton biriyani was hell , a small bony piece in two plates out of 4. We ordered chicken bharta which was not shredded, it was in small dice boneless form , the taste was average. It was also a disapointment . The rating goes only for the starter.

I have tasted biriyani from the authentic Biriyani zones of India i.e lucknow biriyani, hyderabad biriyani, chettinad biriyani and kolkata biriyani. This biriyani served in patna, has its own mark. My collegue said yesterday that there is this place called Biryani Mahal where we can get bengali style good biryani..so we visited this place for lunch..we ordered one chicken biryani, one chicken leg biryani(where you get one extra leg piece along with the chicken piece you get in normal chicken biryani that too only for 10 rs. Which is good)... and one veg biryani..the rates of the dishes are nominal..120, 130 and 100 respectively...however..here is the catch..you need to order salads and curd which does not come with the biryani!!!???? I mean seriously??? Also you don't get salan with biryani!! Man...dude thats hard...this thing put me down..along with the fact that the quantity of the biryani was also not vey good..although I need to mention that the taste of the biryani was really good..i liked the chicken biryani alot..and will definitely visit again..

Biryani Mahal is undoubtedly one of the must visit places in Patna. I have been to this place twice. This place is situated just at the corner near the Golambar. It is spacious and there is a sitting space for a lot of people. Still this place remains crowded and you may have to wait for your chance. The chicken biryani was delicious , they have a variety of biryanis in the menu but the difference is just of the different pieces of chicken. I have ordered the chicken leg biryani and the egg chicken biryani. Do order a raita and it will enhance the taste of the biryani. The chicken Stew is good too. The Chicken tandoori served with green mint chutney is also heavenly. The service is very fast. The staff is friendly and the place is also not over priced. If you are a chicken lover this is the place for you.

My review may not reflect the correct picture because I have tasted the veg items only and they are not more than three or four including salad and raita. The Veg biryani and Paneer Butter Masala of Biryani Mahal are a perfect (and only) combination for a person who prefers veg items.
