Review Raj Rasoi - Patna

Kirtee Shekhar
This place is quite amazing. With a great ambiance it serves super delicious food. We had our team lunch ( official ) here. Few people were from out of Patna and others were out of Bihar. Each and everyone liked the food and quantity as well. We were served with Handi Chicken and One mutton dish with bread ( Tawa Roti ) , boondi ka raita and lastly gulab jamun. Overall all must visit and do try food here. You can come with family, friends and loved ones as well. Cheers to great service and hospitality. Keep shining 🌟
Himanshu Ranjan
The food was wonderful we really enjoyed our evening here. The service team took great care and provide their best service.
Kunal Gaurav
Paneer butter masala is worth trying with garlic naan. Paneer pieces are quite huge, but taste good. Fish masala wasn't as per expectations. Even kashmiri pulav is sumptuous with dal fry. The ambience is quiet and the service is good.
Anam Anu
Beautiful and warm ambience. 👏 I ordered vegitarian fried rice and chilli paneer which was actually very good 😋
Anamika

Really one of the best restaurants to go with the family. Ambience, service , food evening is too good. Highly recommended. Prop: 1. Taste is suber. 2. Serves both veg and non veg. 3. You can order a special dishes like MURG MUSSALAM ( but you have to order it at three hours before). 4. Must try chicken dishes. Con: 1. Too must costly. 2. For a nuclear family the min budget must be greater that 1500/- Note- I ordered Murg Mussalam and I shared the pic along with this post.

7/10 times I have ended up enjoying the food here, especially the non-vegetarian items. But there have been days when the restaurant has disappointed me big time. So overall it’s a good place.

My fav restaurant 😊 and are services too good 👍🏻

Its one of the best restaurant in patna...The gardlic noodles with veg manchurian is my favorite Chinese dish over there.. And of course the kaali mirch kabab..pleasse visit..its the best.

It's a fine day located in Prime location of Patna. The food is very good and tasty. Even service was good. I went along with my friends and was happy to see the server following the basic service rules like serving the lady first. Serving platter to plate from left side. And many things. Having said that, I really don't understand why is the hostess standing right infront of main door to receive guests. This looks a little weird the moment you enter there is a lady standing in your way. She could have been given a hostess desk where she stands and receive people when they come in. Also I think the menu is a little overpriced as the other hotels and restaurants have a comparatively lesser prices, and the management may consider this.

Earlier it was nice but this time the taste of chiken & masrum was not up to the mark.visits it regularly

Food was ok..service was good..but very costly...

It ok. Earlier it was better. The taste of food was also good but now its not. Atmosphere is ok like we can go with family etc but the staffs are not so good in communicating. They are lackadascical. The area where I seated this was not clean and when I asked a staff to do so he didn't clean it properly. Unhygenic
Krish Aryan
I like the Food Its tasty Nd service of that hotel is really nice Good job

Raj Rasoi served excellent meals especially the North Indian cuisine. They also have Chinese and Rajasthani food on their menu. We loved the mocktail as well. Taste, quality, quantity and presentation were all very good. Service was prompt and warm. Had come here a few years back and had a good experience. Even after all these years things are the same and had a good meal !!!

Really bad food guys...

Raj rasoi was one of the bst restro ..
Ambiance 10/10
Food taste 10/10
Rate price 8/10
It was osm place but price tag was quit high you go with your family or friends
Well roaming around in patna is a tough job for dilliwalas but yes we always look for good food and great company.

Came here at Raj Rasoi an authentic fine dining restaurant serving authentic indian food more of royal food cause the presentation was up to that royal look on the food.

We ordered
Paneer tikka butter masala
Wohi apni Dal makhni
Chili garlic noodles
And prantha and roti

*The paneer was very different as it had a sweet yet a spicy touch in it. Garnished with pickled onions and cashew nut and cream cream cream 😀 !

*Dal makhni does not need an introduction but the dal was no where on the redish color it taste cream and richness of its own starch which comes out of cooking the dal no by adding cream or makhan in it . Yes its a gooood dal. Ps. Makhan bhar bhar ke tha 😁

*Chilli Garlic noodles were soo good did not expected this good noodles as there was that good flavour of burnt garlic and chilli, seemed like a dry red chilli but who cares it was good 😲 *Highly Recommend*

*Roti and laccha parantha were well done good thing they didnt cut the roti into half and served a full roti good job on that

Overall a very nice experience here at Raj Rasoi , its a family place and a large dining area one thing i did not like that some part of the menu was not available like rajasthani cuisine. Still i recommend you to go out with families to enjoy great indian food at Raj Rasoi

Cheers 🍻

Ome of the oldest places in patna for the Indian cuisine and a decent fine dine scene. Habe been to this place many a times and the food never disappoints. Though, service can be improved. Been one the favourites and wl always be.
Rohit Sinha
I came to this place and I have to wait for like 40 mins to get a table.Thats fine as I know the place was quite crowded.Even after getting table the service was slow.I am very patient guy I don't bother much but my family was uncomfortable after some time. The waiters were taking order at tortoise speed.I think I will refrain myself from coming again to this so so awesome place.
Swastika Das
This place is one amongst the favorite places of my parents. Ambiance is all that suits with fine dining. Variety of food options available. Taste and quality of food is so good. Staff members are also nice and polite. Great place for parties also.
Amit
Price is too costly.. as serving amount is very low..not enough of single person.
Althoug quality of food was good.service is prompt and warm
Antash Agrawal
Over priced ,They serve veg pulao instead of veg Hydrabad biryani. The recipes are not up to the mark , what they severe is different from original recipe.
Rahul
Good and serene place, atmosphere is quite good, food is also nice, serving time is also satisfactory, but take away service is much early. Plz take some conscience that take away food should be warm enough for use.
Shreyansh Jain
Best and a classic place to have your food with good staff , perfect ambiance and the best lighting condition that I need❤️
The quality of food is also good and the place is amazing ❤️
Sunny Sharma
We ordered their Thali for lunch. It costs close to 400 and not enough for a single person. They serve single roti or paratha along with it.

I did not understand why would they serve butter milk when they are serving kheer (preparation of milk and rice).

Although, the quality of food was good. I did not like gulab jamun as it was cold and too sweet. It was cold too. Kheer was still better.

Also, the curd raita was sweet again.
Divya Chaitanya
Tasty food along with justified quantity .taste is good.delivery time is also good .overall good experience with joyful food . Will love to order again
Mohit
Ordered chicken dum biryani, raita, chicken rara, chicken ladai, drums of heaven..except drums of heaven everything is just awesome...I like their ambience it's Raja Maharaja typ..since I m a regular customer because of cinepolis soooo I luved it n must try their biryani nd raita

A typical family restaurant serving Good North Indian Food is what Raj Rasoi is!
They do stellar starters, fish tikkas, prawns, chicken, mutton, et al.
Their Chicken clear soup happens to be a family favourite.
I absolutely love their Murgh Tikka Makkhanwala with Garlic Naan, and that has been what I finally end up ordering almost every single time.
On a recent visit, we relished their Chef's Special Leg Kebab Butter Masala which turned to be delicious.
Mom, who's a vegetarian, swears by their Paneer Begum Bahar! Though she had had a very disappointing experience with their mix beg jhal frazie recently.
They have a very limited desserts menu, but their double ka meetha and Jalebi are quite good.
Overall, the food is good. Their pricing, competitive. The service is moderately satisfactory. Their furniture/furnishings however could do with some refurbishing/upgradation.
The Curvy Curry Lover
Was craving for some typical North Indian food so ordered veg thali which consisted of pulao, laccha paratha, mix veg, kadhai paneer, chana dal , sweet, papad and pickle. Portion wise it was very good for the price we paid(180rs) infact taste was also good but I dint understand the idea of adding tinda tori to pulao and also something like gourd to mix veg also too much of essence was added to food which is not my taste Except this everything was ok
Amrita Niki
I used to go there a long back ago and the food taste was absolutely ravishing but now after visiting I feel like the standards have gone down and they could not actually maintainin the favourite dishes and so have been told by my friend
Rajat Kumar
Superb restaurant. Despite being big, the services were super fast. Food served is also good in quantity as well as quality.
A must visit recommended to any foodie looking for good food in the heart of city.
Harshit Raj
I simply love this place...it has never disappointed me...happy with everything here...the food the ambience the service...just too good... especially the food...it is one of the few places where I even loved the vegetarian section....
Praveen Anand
well! Raj rasoi is a decent restaurant where you can enjoy with ur family or with your close ones.. you may find prices a bit high as no North indian curry is below Rs350.. but they serve you plenty of dishes to try for.. so overall its a Fine restaurant to be in..
Gautam Mishra
What an awesome place to eat Dosa. I love this place to go with my friends whenever we would like to eat tasty Dosa in town. Nice and clam place to spend time with your loved ones along with enjoying quality foods.
Kriti Dey
The food quality I would say is just average but is way too costly. The staffs are too slow. Ambience is very decorative and attractive. Beautiful place but is quite expensive.
Niladri Banerjee
Bihari cuisine is predominantly vegetarian. Its Bhojpuri and mithila cuisines shares some of the best mutton dishes in the country.Bhunal gosht is a delicious and flavoured example of Bhojpuri cuisine. This is little spicier than its North Indian counterparts with mustard oil being a staple ingredient .The spices including cinamon are grinded in to dusts . Fried onion shape up the taste . Only resentment was usages of cream for garnishing.
#rajrasoui#
#ExhibitionRoad#
#Patna#
The feedback on the cooking style was collected from the gentleman who was taking the order and he suggested the dish .
Rohit Kumar
Best place to eat with family.
Cozy ambience with well cultured waiters and staff.
Food quality and quantity is more than expected.
Dry manchurian with fried rice is a must try..
Anumeha Singh
This place is ordinary with average food and below average ambiance. Their service is ok. The most disappointing thing is their highly priced menu as this place is not worth the amount.
TheVEGGIE
# thealltimejoint
Every time I crave for good food (kuch achha Khate he)....then this is the place to be...
Ambience.....ok
Staff.......courteous
Food.......always a delight
((((Do try mushroom/babycorn chilli, pineapple raita, malaikofta, paneer Kadhai))))

Raj Rasoi is undoubtedly one of the best places to dine in in Patna. I have had both Chinese and north indian at this place and both cuisines are superb in taste. My personal favourite is the shredded chicken in starters. Otherwise the main course , naan , chicken items are very well prepared. You wouldn't regret going there. One of the specialities Raj Rasoi has and one of my biggest favourites is the double ka meetha. It is actually what we call Shahi tukda. It is the best in Patna , no doubt. Service is prompt. The ambience is also good , but I guess a little bit of change will surely hike their customer rate.
Overall this place deserves a 4/5
Gyanendra Jha
The place is good and the food served is fine as well. Service can also be considered upto the mark. But I feel the dishes are thoroughly overpriced. You can visit this place once a while just to enjoy the food and the ambience, but it's got very low or absolutely no value for money.
Richa Anshul Thakur
नाम बड़े और दर्शन छोटे...U ve crowd or u don't but staff must b super active.. n here it's a super lazy stuff ,expensiVe as per many.. or I would say expensive as compared to quality and quantity.. would not recommend!

Ordered food after hearing a lot about it... But the quality of food was way below acceptable.
Burnt Kulcha
Very cheaply prepared Methi matar masala

And so expensive... ideally this food food have costed 100 RS. Instead of 850 rs.

I ordered it for my family and left red faced.
Sad Affairs

A much hyped place in Patna. Was ranked 2nd in 2011 by radio mirchi. Ambience is nice. Food is way too costly as compared to quality. We had one prawn item and it was very bad, other chicken item were decent but not upto mark. Service is decent. Not a satisfactory visit.
Animesh Banerjee
Ambience ok. Hospitality Good. Starters are good specially the prawns. Tandoori roti was burnt and when I asked to change they did change it but it was same story. Overall it was ok experience as it was my Mom's Birthday and they could not even provide a cake.
VISHWMOHAN BHARTI
We had had lunch over here when I was studying in PATNA. The place is a good fine dining experience. A bit expensive for a student, but perfect for a family lunch/dinner, this place is a relaxing experience if one is planning an outdoor lunch. Servers are good and the food is good as well. RAJASTHANI THALI by them is a must try.
Biswajit Tripathy
When I came to Patna in 2007, this was infact the only good restaurant during then. It was more convenient for me since I was staying in my guest house in Twin towers below which the restaurant houses. During that time, they were making Chicken Dosa which they have discontinued now. That was my favorite those days. I have always loved the ambience, the quality of foods, the price and above all the quality of staffs. They have maintained the same since then. I would love to go back to this place anytime,
Nirmal Kumar Tiwary
Really bad veg food paneer chilly was awesome bad and paneer kofta was also bad too high pricing for such a bad food though service and presentation was good .......
Ankit
I belong to Delhi.
I am still at this place while writing this review.
Tasteless food.
They serve you "Chinese" cuisine that is not Chinese. Some desi version maybe.
Ordered Crispy Chilli Potato which was thin fried sticks of potato sprinkled with Red chilli powder.
Dal Makhani was sweeter than the dessert.

Please avoid visiting this place.
SUDHIR KUMAR
Went there few months ago with my family. My initial impression was, "Damn their staff personnel are so polite and courteous" I will grant full marks on professional courtesy . Now coming to food. I ordered some Paneer item, Biryani, Dosa and Naan. Taste was okayish. But, the Dosa was the best I have ever eaten. I will definitely give it an another try.

naam bade aur darshan chote will be my tagline
average food with simple ambiance. work was going on in restaurant at same time when i was a guest
Jaya Sinha
The place is a bit old fashioned. The interior is nice. Veg items are not up to the mark. Go for non veg items. Food was not worth price. I would say.. it is one time visit restaurant.
Satarupa Dutta
Absolutely polite waiters.Good interiors and very quiet and warm environment.Very nice to have a dinner time with family. The food served was also good.Highly recommended.

the food, the ambience, the staff and the Darban....all of you are awesome.
The food is moderately priced but worth. The staffs are responsive and prompt.
It also has a decent parking facility.
5 on 5.

Ambiance-- Very good
Food- Very good (My mom is a Dosa lover and she mentioned that she has never tasted a Dosa so good.)
Price- Good
Service- Awesome

Conclusion: Definitely going to visit again. If ever I land in Gandhi Maidan.
Ipsa Kaushiki Rai
We had a mix of Chinese and Indian cuisine and it all tasted splendid but the time you spend in waiting for your order to arrive was not worth it!

Perhaps they were short of staff due to holi but it caused a lot of inconvenience to people since it was lunch time.

My word-
Food- Good so 4/5
Ambience- 3/5, it seems that the interiors are not cleaned very often. The taste in decor is good though!
Value for money- 2/5, we ordered around 6 dishes and 5 naan (butter and garlic included) and it costed around 3k.

Ankit Ishan Verma
Very nice ambience
Very nice hospitality
We went here at 9 pm & ordered chicken do pyaza n garlic naan .It was very very tasty. For the 1st time, I have ordered garlic naan on the request of hotel staff to try a new thing n I must say it was very tasty n soft . I liked it a lot.
I will go there in the future surely.
Manik Sharma
Lackadaisical attitude shown by waiting staff. Prime time news, not music, was blaring throughout the meal. Nothing extraordinary with the food served here.
Vikash
Meets the expectations and its serves delicious food under the budget . Service quality up to the mark 8.5/10. Waiters are friendly and very quick. No need to wait long after order placement . Quantity and quality of food is equivalent to price you pay.
BHUWAN BHASKAR
Delicious food, waiters make u feel like u r VVIP.price slightly high bt not too much expensive..non vegeterians will be delighted to knw that they will be greatly satisfied
Deepak Gupta
Food not that good. Balance of flavors was completely missing. Even Chicken Masala was way too sweet. Although ambiance is good. Too expensive for the quality of food they serve. Service was nice.
Nupur Singh (potpourribynupur)
Amazing food, courteous management, quick service, and decent interiors. The restaurant leaves no point for the customers to be unhappy. A perfect place to hang out with family for lunch or dinner.
Kshitij Raj
Good food worth of money.you have have good North Indian food here.double ka meetha is flagship dessert here.chicken was good cooked. The ambience of the restaurant is awesume.
Foodies Of Patna
One of the best restaurants in patna..The ambience is cool and non vegetarian stuff awesome!! But on Sundays you have a hard time finding a vacant table
Munirud Doja
It is one of my most visited restaurants in Patna maybe because of the strategic location it is at or the great food they serve...Raj Rasoi is good in almost every cuisine they serve especially Chinese.. The ambience is also wonderful and the staff is cooperating and the best part, it is light to our wallets.. All in all, a great place to dine out with family.
Vickrant Siingh
So this is my 2nd visit to this restro , nd i liked wat they served me . This time i orderd mutton hayderabadi nd chicken dehati . Mutton hyderabadi was gud with its thick gravy , nd chicken dehati was yummy with its onion gravy . Very normal missi roti nd tandoori roti , they need to improve on their roti section. 1.. ) I visited this restro for lunch . Orderd chicken hyderabadi nd phulka . Hyderabadi was really gudd. Thick gravy with whole garlic nd with kadhi patta . It was different wat u will generally get in patna. Its bit expensive 405 rs. It shudnt be above 300 rs ...but fine . Thanx for ur service monu ji .
Nikhil Prakash
Horrible food, dal makhani has got sweet flavour, mushroom kadhai was not cooked properly its has raw spices flavour and garlic naan served was from fermented dough
Fahad
Good place to dine with your family. Menu has a vast variety to choose from. Dishes are well prepared and served. Ambience is also calm so that one can enjoy the food.
Shreya Singh
Located at twin tower just in front of gandhi maidan so easy to find and park!
Coming to the ambience is fyn not too great! But it is very spacious so u can find the table easily!
Variety definitely exists ! Taste is also average
They take a lot of time to get the food on the table!
Overall just an average place in my opinion!
Rahul Anand
One of the worst restaurants i had ever visited. After you enter ,in 1st looks every things looks perfect but after u sit, disaster starts.Service is very poor.We had ordered 4 items for starter and 4rth starter comes with main menu, And nothing specials everything was just full of spices, not good in taste. During main cources ,service was too slow that we have to wait every time we complete our roti, finally we ordered fried rice and that was better. Even they give such a pathatic service and give crap food, their charges are very high. So friend avoid this place if you dont want to ruin your special evening or any occasions.
Anjali Kumari
oonchi dukan feeka pakwan........a horrible experience .. it took you guys 2 hours to deliver at a place hardly 1 km away. and after the wait of ages the food u bring is even worse than the street food.... i wonder if u guys even know wat paneer chilly is... n FYI its not pieces of paneer in pickles spices....it should be named FAKE RASOI
Prateek Singh
My Manager likes this place... so we..

Starting from the best:

Go up for sweet dishes... double ka meetha... gulab jamun and combo of gulab jamun and vanilla ice cream... its just yummy...

Mutton items not up to the mark... check butter masala is tasty...
Service needs to be spiced up...

They basically give attention to big groups...
Tanya Tanesha
This place is situated in front of Gandhi Maidan at the heart of the Patna.. Been to this place with my school friends.. U get delicious chicken butter Masala and Haryali Chicken gravy.. My favorite is Masala Cold drink.. It’s so yummy
Souvik Saha
In a great location... good ambience with good decor... good mughlai food (one can try the kebabs)and also quite good vegetarian dishes... value for money...

Nice ambiance...service is OK...love the backgrounds music.... a descent and calm place.......BT food here doesn't meet the beauty of other things.....although food is not bad....BT when u enter this place ....u will feel great...BT when food comes...it will not meet ur expectation..... Happy Fooding..

Very slow and poor service!! No proper electricity back up!! Food sucks!! Customer service very cold!! Not recommend at all!! Will never visit again!!
Shashank Sharma
Best food in Patna, you really feel like a king with the delicacies available. The ambience is perfect, you have a live kitchen, soothing music and great location.Chicken dosa, mutton biryani, hakka noodles and jalebis are my favourites.Dinner for two will cost around a 1000 bucks but it's worth it.
Vijay Raju
one of my favourite restaurants in patna and multi cuisine in true sense you will surely like everything from chinese, indian and particularly south indian the place is good comfortable and very spacious and they have the best deserts in town for the sweet toothed
Alvia Ahmed
Raj rasoi is a pretty old restaurant and they serve really good food. From butter chicken to malai kofta, I've tried everything on the menu and they have never disappointed me. Just love the food here. They offer good ambience and the staff is also nice and friendly here. The service is quick so you don't have to wait for a long time to make your tummy happy. Centrally located in the heart of Patnathis place is a must visit place. :)
Richick Sinha
Accessibility:
Raj Rasoi is centrally located with ample parking space. The location sees moderate amount of traffic and is easy to reach.

Ambience :
The ambience is classy and quiet and is a good option for dinner dates and business lunches. The door leads to the main seating area which has another passage to an inside seating area, which is definitely more better in my opinion. Also, they have a few tables on the first floor by the window. Worth checking out.

Service:
The service is good as you'd expect in a restaurant in that price range. :)

Food:
I've been eating for for at least last seven years and I have to say the place never disappoints in taste. Try the Huanan chicken(white gravy, chinese), Murgh Kali Mirch and their Garlic naan.

Pricing:
It's on the expensive side among the restaurants in Patna but nothing that'll burn your pocket. The experience is worth it too.

Bon appetit.

ARUNABH RAY
Raj Rasoi is one of the best family restaurant in Patna. Visited yesterday with friends. Been here earlier also. Ambience and services are always good. Chicken Hyderabadi, Corn Palak, Paneer Kadai are few items you would like to have here.
Priyam
Raj Rasoi is awesome. I was here with family. Good crowd, good food, amazing services.. proper dining experience. Loved it. Definitely Recommended.

One of favorite restaurant in Patna always had great time here food is great(except dosa) and waiter serves them well, environment that makes you calm and cozy .
ANSHUL SRIVASTAVA
Raj Rasoi has been another frequently visited place when we were in Patna. Food has always been good to excellent depending on the choices, non vegetarian a big plus and ya desserts are definitely a must try.. Jalebis have always been favourite that too after you have your dinner ...not many places in Patna would serve you jalebis at 10:30pm !!!!!
Mukesh Tiwary
3rd grade experience AC not working food not too great quantity of food is good ambience average service is not up to the mark.Better options are available in Patna
Pranav Anand
The food was really delicious.. Service was also good..staff was looking well maintain.. But price was little more.. Furniture, specially chair was very odd.. &seating space between chair and table was not gd.. 1 most embarrassing thing dat there was not a feedback book..
Hari Mohan Singh
The food was barely eatable. The price of bottle of mineral water was Rs. 50.00. More than 2.5 times the M.R.P. Very disappointing. Prawns were stinky.
Sumit
I luv there food.. They serve really good food.. Its vry delicious.. I dont knw whts the status ryt now.. Last tym when i visited the food was fantastic..
Saurabh Ankit
Not as good as rated.. It was a complete disappointed dining in there.. Chicken drumsticks tasted like shit never try it and also the service is quite slow
Sayantan Raha
Wrong place we choose to dine. This joint is in a posh location of Patna. But honestly we dint enjoy the food overall. Ordered Chili Chicken with semi gravy but dish arrived with full of gravy, when we spoke to the waiter; he look it back and brought it with the same condition. Lastly the dish itself was too spicy and oily. We dint feel like to eat. Last but not the least price is too high in comparison with the quality they offered. The name of the joint sounds very royal but pointless to spend hefty amount.
Kshitij
Prominent location. Good food. Waiters are aware about the food items and give good suggestions. They have variety in their menu. Will visit again.
Aakanshu Gupta
Well this restaurant have a good menu but not good price value. You can get even better taste at much lesser price. It's better to go raj darbar rather spending extra money for the same taste
Nitish Poddar
I have been there many times and all the time I prefer only chicken & kulche nd yeah they have the best starters as well.. Ambience is above average not that great but yeah food is good !! Just Good :)
Vaibhav Kumar
Amazing food. One should try there chicken 65. Totally worth the money and do have good peaceful ambiance. Quantity and quality both are great. Every Time i have visited this place i have never been unsatisfied.
Asim Prakash
Big waiting queues, specially on weekends. Reach early to get a seat. Thali was nice though Chankya's Thali is far superior. Haven't tried anything else.
