Review Crepe In Touch - Pondicherry

Swapnil Bunde
We had our breakfast on a lazy day where it was all cloudy and drizzling. The food served here was amazing especially the Veg. Quiche. The ambience here gives you good vibes and makes you nostalgic to take you back to your childhood village home. Service is also good, though not quick. Maybe because they do not have a fast moving kitchen setup as such. Overall, a great experience. Cheers to the team.

Absolutely loved the food here! The buckwheat crepes were light and filling so flavourful! It has a homely ambience but the major problem here is the waiting time to get the food - we were so hungry but had to wait to get our food!

This place is defination of simple yet aesthetic café. This place feels homely, the food is good, might not be everyone's favourite especially if you're a tourist visiting pondicherry as the menu was Crepe Dominant. The place is quite artsy, it also have clothes, handmade jam, canvases, postcards for sale and on display. If you're here don't forget to try Savory Crepe.

I visited this cafe on a Saturday morning for breakfast, and it was one of the best food decisions of the trip!😍 First of all, the ambience of the place is really neat and simple. They have tried to be creative, while getting the basics right at the same time! Coming to the food, we ordered a Groix, Shantanec, Cols Coffee and Virgin Mojito. The Groix was delicious and the taste of caramelised onions was spot on! The stand out dish was definitely Shantanec. The way they have played around with mushroom, cheese along with pork, it hits all the right notes of taste buds! The cold coffee was average, but Virgin Mojito was extremely refreshing! I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Pondicherry, even if it is for two days!♥️

1. Good dishes to experiment. Try pondy breast crepe and ganache 2. The ambience is very cheerful and calm. Though it may feel hot despite the fan but very quaint nice warm house cafe with their french dishes. Do try their orange jam !!

Got to eat a very unique food i.e. Crepe in this charming cafe. Food was really awesome though the ambience could have been better. Also there is a very charming craft store inside. Drinks was very good.

One of the best spots to have breakfast in Pondicherry. Outlet opens at 9AM. Reach early to grab seat especially on weekend or holidays. Crepes are delicious. Ambience is good laid back. Lots of seating options. For detailed reviews and videos - we are also on YouTube.

This place is a traditional home which is converted into a restaurant so don't expect standard restaurant feelings here. But if u are looking for a classic place and wanna try french foods for a late breakfast then this is the place for you...

crepe in touch proved that Pondicherry is not only about the cafes but the corners, warmth and so much local. That's why this dump had to be of us food, us, and the place. When in pondi, you MUST have one breakfast here. I've always been a sweet crepe person but this place changed my mind!! Their Savory crépes is what they're popular for! One in frame is what they suggested with Caramalised onions, mushroom & cheese. 🥰 Captured so much in the vibe here and also the cute little shops inside where you can grab some really cute printed stuff for gifting.

Loved the food. We went for breakfast to have a good crepe’s. Just wow!!!

As per ambience it brings you to new world, French cuisine is absolutely marvelous but hatts off to staff so hospitable and generous, specially Suriya and Hubert Raj. I lost my one of belongings there not only they kept it properly but made sure I was been informed. Thanks guys

Feels like eating at a friend's home. This place has a complete homely feeling to it. The place used to be someone's house and is now renovated to a cafe. Books are available to be taken off the shelf for reading. Lots of pretty corners around the cafeteria to sit and relax. The owner is nice and friendly. The menu has lot of variety for crepes and other beverages etc. Tried two different variety of crepes and beverages. Food is good, place is cosy. Lot of young people frequent this place. Definitely worth a visit when in pondicherry.

I tried Crêpe for the first time here and loved it . It was delicious. Far Breton is a must try with salted caramel .

It's a perfect example of how the best things can be found in simple places. Away from the hustle bustle of the city, situated in a small lane of Pondicherry. This place is not fancy on outside or inside. It's a house which they have tastefully decorated to make a cosy place to eat. The food served is hot. They have couple of new dishes for each day . They make their crepes with buckwheat flour. The coffee is tasty too. Two crepes to definitely try: 1. banana with hazelnut spread sweet crepe. The ladies who work their are very polite. 2.hummus and pesto savoury crepe. They have a small children's play area where there are books and certain toys. Each room has a different style of sitting .one room can accommodate large parties of 6 to 10 whereas one of the rooms has smaller table to cater to couples and smaller groups.

Located inside a beautiful Franco-Tamilian heritage building, this place has the most amazing crepes.

Delicious food served by a really friendly staff in a beautiful building, perfect for a break or beat the heat. The galettes are all super yummy and lovingly made by Fanny. Try it once and you are sure to come back for more!
Shwetha Murthy
Awesome food ! Definitely an edgy menu ! You get to taste a lot of grains which is not grown in India ( basically from Africa , France ) . Lot of stuff is homemade which is the best part . Yummy !!

What a fantastic little place. Lovely collection of books and a great little space to take your little one. Our 2.5 year old didn't want to leave!

Best crepes in town. Relaxing ambience. And there is a kid's area, where your toddler can have fun while you enjoy your ginger honey mint cooler.

A beautiful cosy place in the heart of the MG Road where everything is so comfortable and soothing. It has the seating setup done on the upper floor with nice comfortable furniture.Talking about the food, we ordered savoury crepes which were amazing. Nicely stuffed and spreaded, they were great in taste. We also ordered the masala chai which was amazing again.Talking about the service, the staff is really friendly and they listen to any and every problem found in food or service. The only issue I found is in their service which was quite slow and took time to serve food. But all in all, this place is a must must visit.Recommendations: Egg Tomato Cheese Crepe, Quessant Crepe, Masala chai
Ankita
Very nice breakfast options they have with them. Actually best for the eggeterians n bacon lovers I must say. Sweet and savoury options both r filled here. Good to get served here's crepes.

Crepe in touch is THE place if you're looking for some real authentic crepes in town. The cafe is super cute with various comfy seatings arrangements and the decor is vibrant and colorful. The staff too is very polite and helpful<br/><br/>Here's what I had-<br/>The Saint Malo- a crepe with cheese, tomatoes,a sunny side up, pepperoni, bacon and butter. It was like a symphony of flavours in my mouth, best served hot. Definitely give this one a try when in Pondi

The place is super cute. Nice cafe to sit and relax. There are some nice stores within the cafe that sell organic food. Service is great too. Must visit!!

Cherish the love of crepes and coffee at this cozy & comfy cafe while creating best of your memories in Pondicherry <br/><br/>Just loved the warmth, vintage retro yet simple place of the town to spend your evenings or mornings 💕<br/><br/>We tried almost all types of crepes here, my fav was Nutella crepe, Cinnamon crepe with cashew and nuts along with Latte!<br/>We almost spend 6-7 hours here chitchatting while enjoying best crepes in town 💕<br/><br/>PS: This place is closed on Sunday so make sure you visit the place on Saturday if on Weekend trip 🥂

Great ambience, Awesome crêpes, super crozon, delicious drinks and cheap prices.. what else can you ask.. #mustvisit

A must go place when in pondicherry❤️<br/><br/>The place is in a small house turned into a cafe cum shopping centres. The small rooms in the house host various shopping areas which sell handloom articles, organic vegetables and fruits, etc. So while you are waiting for your food you can spend your time shopping. Good food plus shopping =win win.<br/>The verandas between the rooms have quirky tables where you can sit and have your food.<br/><br/>They have various savoury as well as sweet crepes both in vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. We had a vegetarian and a non vegetarian crepe which was beyond tasty.<br/>The muskmelon juice was just perfect. It was like eating muskmelon. I was glad it had no added sugar or colors. The lemon and mint juice was perfectly refreshing.<br/>The food takes a lot of time to be served which I feel is a good sign because it means it is made fresh after you order. And sitting here spending time waiting for food is enjoyable.<br/><br/>The Server here, which I am guessing is also the owner is super polite and very friendly.<br/><br/>So like I began the review with, a must go restaurant in pondicherry.
Vinay Jathen
The place has an overall chill vibe with some great tasting crêpes. A must-visit for some authentic buckwheat savoury and sweet crêpes. You could spend hours lounging in this place over a crêpe and cold coffee! The service too is prompt and efficient! Be warned they don't accept credit/debit cards...so make sure you carry enough cash here.<br/>Do visit the next time you're in Pondy - you definitely won't regret it...!

I wish the staff had not pissed us off as soon as we entered the place. This place really deserves a sit in, a long chilled out evening at the place would be amazing, given the incredible ambience of this place! The one crepe that they agreed to serve us (because we were 30 second late for their last order, no kidding), was actually really tasty!! So yeah, go there and have a great time but don’t expect the staff to treat you as if you are paying.
Devpriya Chakravarty
If anyone in Pondy got their crêpes and galettes right it is these guys! Amazing food, great ambience and gosh even their beverages are bloody brilliant! #todiefor

Crepe in a touch is a small restaurant in a house that has a nice heritage setting. Loved the hospitality of the French host and all the servers. They had amazing crepe options and I loved the home-made Nutella with added Banana, a classic. Great pricing as well.
Anjali Gambhir
Totally loved the whole vibe of this place with some of the best crepe in the town.. a must visit while in Puducherry!! A comfortable seating area with quick service makes you feel completely at home... ordered a tomato basil cheese crepe which was perfectly made to taste... would love visiting again😊😊
Milind Jha
It takes a lot of culinary expertise to make something as simple as a crepe memorable ... these words should suffice I believe .. other than that, the service, ambience and behaviour of the staff was top notch .. and you don’t judge the location when you are in Pondy!!
Jay Wani
Not recommended, quality of bread, butter, and coffee is worst. The breads were very hard and all the drinks were diluted.<br/>Ambience was good though.

I craved for some french food during my stay in pondicherry and found this restaurant on Zomato. This restaurant looks amazing. The ambience is wonderful. The interior is no less than an art gallery. Furniture is beautifully set with so many colours. Coming to the food the menu is limited. They have so many different varieties of crepes available in both sweet and savoury options. So I decided to try both. I ordered the salted caramel crepe in sweet and saint malo which is moslty a breakfast option along with a hot cup of hot chocolate. The crepes are light and the portion is good enough. Loved the flavour and texture of Saint malo. It was a crepe filled with bacon and egg. In all my tastebuds were totally satisfied here!

It is a much hyped place to have a morning breakfast. We trusted the 4.6 rating of this cafe on Zomato. It has cool sitting arrangements where you can choose on being sitted on Chair or on the ground. They revive the old times of movie and food generation.<br/><br/>However they have pathetic food quality and service. There was a big insect floating on the top of Cold Coffee I had ordered. On complaining, the owner was very Casual as if nothing wrong has happened. The one which was provided afterwards was also pathetic in quality. The service is very poor and you have to request multiple times even if you want plate, cutlery or sauce or ketchup. We were 4 people and they only gave 1 plate and 2 cutlery sets.<br/><br/>They also do not provide any authentic bill and you are given the amount details on a rough estimate paper. They do not accept any Card and the only mode of payments are either Cash, Google Pay or Paytm. This is really surprising that they are able to run Business in such a pathetic way which I also understand is the illegal way of doing business in India.<br/><br/>I have also uploaded the bill that I received at the end of dining at this place.

Service - poor<br/>Got a fly in the cold coffee, poor response by waiters. Very stoic and don't give a damn.<br/><br/>On of the Worst waiters so far.<br/><br/>Rest is good or average. Ambience is great.

Amazing ambience.... Salad and sauteed mushrooms are a must try... Hibiscus soda and masala chai is good.... Best thing about this place is eco-friendly, steel straw's!

Amazing restaurant. Build in a house and one cannot make out that the way it has been structured is so fab. Awesome food. Loved the pork pepperoni crepe. The salads were delicious. In all just yum!!!

Keep in mind that most eateries in Pondicherry are poorly equipped to handle the weekend rush. Also, remember you aren't alone in looking up Zomato. So reach early & order. We reached even before this place opened in the morning. You have to walk through a curio shop/art gallery to reach this restaurant. We ordered the Egg, Bacon, Cheese & Egg, Ham, Cheese crepes. Both arrived quickly. They are served with a green salad with a dash of mustard. The crepes are amazing. I dislike cheese but the crisp crepe, egg & molten cheese are a potent combination. The crepes are filling but not heavy. We ordered the Hibiscus soda, something I had for the first time. It was a bit too sweet, but that's a personal thing. To round off our breakfast we had the Breton cake. The cake was good but the killer is the Caramel dip. Maybe they should make it a separate dessert.
Gabrielle
I had the pondy Brest. Really didn't like the food! The juices were ok. I expected a lot as their ratings are good and I wanted a break from Indian food... The lady at the counter didn't seem naturally happy to serve a bit cold and strange infact. The seating was uncomfortable and cramped up with nails coming out of the wooden chairs. Nothing special about this place. Sorry guys I won't be returning.
Laura
All I can say is WOW! The galettes here were absolutely incredible, packed with flavour and authentically French. Looking forward to going back and tasting the sweet crepes!<br/>

You have to walk through an art shop to reach the restaurant. If you don't care about Ambiance but only food and service, a definite must try.<br/>They suggested a pork Crêpe and I wanted it with egg sunny Side up. It was delicious. There was nothing that I would have changed in it.<br/>The hibiscus soda was one of the best that I had tried in pondy.<br/>We had also ordered caramelised apple with cinnamon Crêpe which was tasty as expected.<br/>Service is quick and efficient.<br/>If you are in pondy and wish you try savoury crepes, a definite visit.<br/>

Perfect little French place in a no longer perfect French colony..

Perfect place for breakfast and to relax.<br/>It has 2 floors and a roof top. The rooftop is really nice with space to sit on the floor.<br/>On the food we tried:<br/>Cold coffee and cappuccino.<br/>Lorient crepes - hummus, feta, grilled zucchinis, sauteed mushrooms, tomatoes and olive oil.<br/>Le Guilvinec - smoked fish, tomatoes, caramelised onions and basil cheese.<br/>Nutella crepes with almonds and ice cream.
Dipankar Jena
The interiors are nice, cozy & the place is great. We reached restaurant around its closing time, yet the staff were very nice to us and served us some good dishes. The nutella crepes with banana and almonds was delicious.<br/>The cinnamon flavoured apple crepes was great. Would surely love to visit this place again for the savoury crepes.

Cute ambience, friendly service and a beautiful space with curios to look at and a store within the same building having all kinds of clothes, accessories and so on..<br/>Coming to food, had a wonderful ouissant crepe served with a side of salad and some refreshing hibiscus and watermelon drinks!<br/>Appreciate their using metal straws..<br/>And their dessert the "Far Breton" was yummy!! With the gooey caramel served along the warm cake!<br/>Overall, a very cute, value for money place serving yummy food!

📍: Needarajapayer Street, MG Road, Pondicherry<br/>.<br/>.<br/>Table for ✌️ @ 500 💸 (VFM!)<br/>.<br/>.<br/>✓ Delectable Food<br/>✓Beautiful Ambience<br/>✓Sweetest Service<br/>.<br/>.<br/>Nestled in the quaint neighborhood of Needarajapayer Street, MG Road, Hiding within Ma Pondy Cherie - You can find this quirky little cafe, aptly named 'Crepe in Touch'<br/><br/>As you make your way through the little door and into an antique filled corridor lined with knickknacks and handcarfted mirrors - opens out into a picturesque garden with pastel coloured furniture. Amongst the choices of seating is a terrace view of the city which is perfect for enjoying the cool afternoon breeze.<br/><br/>Their menu offers a variety of sweet and savoury crepes, salads (for the healthier souls out there) and desserts (for the those with the sweet tooth).<br/><br/>Pictured above is the salted butter caramel crepe with banana.<br/>The crepe is soft in the middle with crispy edges, lathered in liquid gold caramel sauce gently coating slices of banana which oozes out with every bite. Your mouth explodes with a medley of flavours as the softness of the banana and the sweetness of the caramel sing to your taste buds.<br/><br/>The savoury crepe is the 'Saint-Malo' which consists of pork pepperoni, egg, tomato and a special mâitre d'hôtel butter. The saltiness of the pepperoni is balanced out well by the richness of the cheese and the fluffiness of the egg, the tomatoes add to the confluence an element of freshness to it. All in all it's a carnival in the mouth.<br/><br/>Friendly staff, homely atmosphere and a reasonably priced menu, would definitely recommend this place to 'Get in Touch' with your senses.

This place is a hidden gem. If you’re looking for crepes this is the place to go. It’s set inside s house. Fresh ingredients and great flavors.

Great ambience, truly French..food was good not great...savoury grilled chicken crepe was ok; great hibiscus soda though. Chocolate ganache crepe was excellent..worth a try... this cafe is a must visit.

The food at Crepe in Touch is simply amazing! We had a savory (Ouessant) and a sweet (Salted Butter Caramel) crepe, both of which were really good. But the surprising highlight was the Carantec salad. This was probably the freshest and one of the best salads we’ve ever had. It looks like any run of the mill salad dish but tastes awesome. The ambiance is lovely and laid back. The host and staff are friendly as well. This was without doubt the best café that we visited during our short trip. A must visit for any food lover!

Amazing food and lovely place. . Me and my friend ordered a pesto pasta salad, bacon crêpe,nutella crêpe,hibiscus juice for lunch.<br/>I must say we enjoyed every bite..The salad was delicious with its special butter dressing..Bacon crêpe had a combination of potatoes ,mushrooms, caramelized onions, cheese which together blended so well. Then comes the homemade nutella crêpe...We added some bananas and vanilla ice cream to it👌 This place is also very peaceful and colorful...must visit

Crêpe Crêpe it is... Lovely place with great propy serving amazing french authentic Crêpe. The ambiance is super to look at however i dont find it to be comfortable. But the salads drinks and Crêpe takes away all that you won't like in Crêpe in touch. Tell what tickelse your taste buds and you will be suggested a Crêpe of your type. Go by the suggestion and you will not regrt. I rarely give 5 on 5.... But this place takes it all away from me. Great to enjoy french food in India. Feels like the French Indian restaurant.<br/>

A hot pot of cultures, Pondicherry is one place where a quick weekend will never seem enough, especially when it comes to food. From local to European, and even Asian flavors, this little town has quite a bit to offer.<br/><br/>Crepe in Touch is one such place. A winsome café for sure; go here to try their Buckwheat Crepes. They come in a wide range of sweet and savory options. So you could either pick one with ham, cheese and tomato, bacon, tomato and onion, or one of my favorites, Lorient (Hummus, Feta, Grilled Zucchinis, Sautéed Mushrooms, Tomatoes, & Olive Oil), or even one with Apple Compote (seasonal) or Chocolate Ganache.
Chanchal Rathi
Must visit place when you in this French town!!! Started by a French lady, the place stands amidst a lovely store. Have a buckwheat crepe when here. The flavour will have you tongue tied! Ordered the chocolate ganache crepe to savour the sweet tooth!! 🙌🏼

Crêpes are delicious and fresh and so good! Even the juices are fresh ! The place has exhibition of stuffs like home decor, games, furniture, boutique, and this cafe !

While roaming around in Pondicherry, we came across this quiet little place near MG road. We entered, and weren't disappointed.<br/><br/>A cozy little spot on the ground floor awaited us, a respite from the extreme heat outside.<br/><br/>We had the bacon, eggs and ham crepe, the ratatouille crepe and the grilled chicken and caramelized onions crepe. All three were delicious, and we were left wanting for more. The Far Breton cake was tasty as well!<br/><br/>A must visit in Pondicherry! 😄

A fancy joint for all age groups. From backpackers to families with kids, do try this place. Inexpensive and affordable. fancy decor and furnitures. The staff too are very polite and helpful

Found this while looking for a place in Puducherry for Breakfast at 9 AM with 90%of the restaurant closed on 31st morning.<br/><br/>The best thing about this place was its Ambiance and feel. It is more than a house and less than a restaurant.Gives you a essence of French culture mixed with Indian vibes.<br/><br/>They have many sitting arrangements. You can sit on the ground floor on the 1st floor. There as well you can either sit on the ground or on the chairs.<br/><br/>In food,we tried Molene and Nutella Banana crepe.Molene is towards the salty side with pesto, tomatoes and mozzarella cheese in it.<br/>I loved Nutella Banana Crepe,it was very good and had all the ingredients in perfect amount.<br/><br/>A nice place to have some French Breakfast in Puducherry!!!

This is a beautiful small cafe located on MG road. The ambience of this place is amazing. They have a good variety in crepes and also the taste was pretty decent. Also, they have some good bf combos.

This place is the first one I went to after reaching this wonderful town and it gave me the warmest possible welcome I could dream of. The vibe of this place gives you the essence of the french culture you are here to witness and you would love every second in here. The crêpes ( ouessant and monts d'arree) were delicious - would definitely recommend monts d'arree - it has bacon and mashed potato with cheese as filling. It's a must visit overall.

Looking for some light, tasty breakfast in a serene environment.... This is the place to go to. Crepes are made of buckwheat (kuttu / singhada atta).... Super healthy, light and yummy.<br/><br/>Quiche was great too.<br/>

Easily one of the best Cafe's in puduchery, I liked it so much that I visited the place 3 days in a row. The Nutella banana crepe is simply the best thing you will ever have!! Also try their Far Breton cake with caramel and life will be successful!! It is a beautiful cafe located inside a handicraft boutique, a must visit if you are looking for any good places to eat in puduchery!!
Dheer Patel
Beautiful little french home cafe! Several varieties of sweet and savoury crepes! We tried the vegetarian ones and all of them were amazing! Personally I'd recommend Ouessant and Belle Ile, delicious and perfectly made! We also ordered Molene, Lorient and Classic Tomato and Cheese which were also good.<br/><br/>We ordered two salads which were a bit disappointing (hence the 4 stars). Morlaix and a hummus salad. Morlaix was a quinoa salad however it lacked proper dressing and the pomegranate were the only savior. With Hummus they had served multigrain bread slices which did not go well with the spread.<br/><br/>For drinks we ordered Watermelon Juice, Muskmelon Juice, Hibiscus Soda and Ginger-Lemon-Honey-Mint Cold Juice!! All were on point but I would recommend Muskmelon and GLHM cold juice!!<br/><br/>For desserts we had Far Breton cake, Apple Crumble with ice cream and Salted Butter Caramel crepe. Far Breton was amazing! Apple crumble could be more crispy on the outside. Also add bananas or nuts to the salted caramel crepe!!<br/><br/>Overall amazing experience. Ambience was quiet and peaceful and perfect for some relaxing lunch!

Best place for Crepe and Dessert. Homely Ambience. Great Food & Good Service. Best place for a great breakfast. Must Visit place in Pondicherry.

The place is a little difficult to find as you have to find it within a larger building. But once you are inside the ambience is very lovely. The dining place is upstairs and the theme is very homely.<br/><br/>The food is also delicious. We only tried the crepes but both of our choices did not disappoint. The service was also great and the staff members were polite and friendly. We also had a masala chai on the side and it was probably amongst the best we had in Pondi. Really loved everything overall !

This place is heaven. If you wanna try some great food then pls do visit this place. Service is good and quality of food is excellent. Thank you

One of the best places I visited in Pondy.<br/>This place has a really cozy and welcoming ambience.<br/>Friendly staff, quick service and deliciousss food! 😍😋<br/>Will definitely love to visit this place again! ❤️

We tried Ouessant and Classic Crepes with Jaggery. Ouessant was pretty good. The latter was just ordinary. This place definitely needs to be tried once if you like crepes.

One of the best things about my trip to Pondicherry was this place. The ambiance is cozy and feels very organic. Does a lot without trying too hard. It's set in an old house on MG Road. Service is great. Food is amazing. The crepes were crispy and remained so even after 10-15 minutes. I ordered a ratatouille quiche and a monte-darree galette. Both were served with a side of salad with mustard on top. For dessert I ordered a chocolate ganache crepe which, genuinely, blew my mind. I love this place. I didn't know that they're closed on Sundays so I went there again on my last day in Pondicherry (which was a Sunday) just to experience this place again. But maybe next time!<br/><br/>P.S. There's a very pretty gift shop above this restaurant, definitely check it out if you go there.

This is a house in the interiors of MG Road, where the ground floor has been turned into a cafe, specialising in Crepes. This cafe actually gives u an ideal ambience for a mandatory Breakfast or Brunch in Pondicherry. We ordered almost all preparation of Crepes and each one had an unique taste and left us with wanting for more. We ordered: Glenan (Tuna), Saint Mall (Pork), Graix (grilled chicken) and Monts D'arree (bacon, cream, cheese).<br/>The staffs were very courteous and homely and the leisurely ambience here, along with cute furniture and decorations fits aptly to the vacation mood.<br/>Whenver I am in the city, I will make sure that I drop in here for a Breakfast at least. Highly recommended!!
Akshath K
Ordered the "Lorient". By far the best food I've had in Pondy. Very well cooked and dressed. The place also has a good ambience and rooftop seating is also available. Overall, I would suggest this place for your daily brunch!
Indori_bhukkad
Crêpes are basically thin pancakes with the same batter being used.<br/>Crêpe In Touch is one of the few places in Pondy where you get that good Crêpes.<br/>First of all locating place wasn't so easy for us(unless you checkout zomato pics) as the board was hidden behind a tree.<br/>When you enter this place, there is a boutique where you get stuff as memories if you are a tourist. After crossing boutique you get into the verandah where sunlight is directly coming on the tables, so not a good option when you are visiting this place at 10 A.M. The other option was going upstairs which had a decent straw roof being open from all 4 sides.<br/>There we can sit either on the ground or the tables. The colors used were giving aura a French touch. There is a Tamil poster (I don't know why it has been kept there), but didn't dare to ask about it.<br/>Coming to the Food, we ordered Ouessant Crêpe, which was a purely veg option (as it was Janmashtami) and Apple Crumble with ice-cream and caramel.<br/>Ouessant was pretty good and recommended for creamy cheese lovers. The only thing which can be corrected is not overloading with onions.<br/>Apple crumble tasted good with ice-cream but with caramel it didn't tasted well. Apple crumble is same as apple pie.<br/>Staff was very polite. Full points to them.<br/><br/>Ambience : 4/5<br/>Staff :5/5<br/>Ouessant Crêpe : 4.5/5<br/>Apple crumble : 3.5/5<br/><br/>Overall a good experience. Recommended.<br/><br/>

So many miles away from France, in a totally different continent... if you want to taste the delicious and authentic crêpes, this is the place that you SHOULD NOT miss!<br/><br/>Location: Located on MG road, one of the prime locations in Pondicherry, is this cozy crêperie. One of the easiest ways to spot this café is to look out for boutique “Ma Pondi Chérie” which is located at the same place. <br/><br/>Food: The place serves the BEST crêpes in town. This was my second visit and I have tried atleast 3 crêpes until now, all of them are completely inexplicable and exotic, as if exported right from Bretagne in France! They are well cooked with a complete blend of taste and completely authentic! I have tried Saint-Malo, Pondi Brest and Groix and they were absolutely mouthwatering and flavourful. No wonder the chef of this crêperie is French herself and cooks the dishes with great pleasure! Apart from their crêpes, their fruit salad is good too. The juices are made up of fresh fruits and the desserts are heavenly. <br/>We had a chance to chat with the owners of the café and the chef and it was a complete warm welcome, I must say.<br/><br/>Service: Service is quick, excellent and everyone who visits the café is well-attended. <br/><br/>J’avais un grand plaisir d’y aller et de savourer les crêpes les plus délicieux de l’Inde. Merci Crêpe In Touch, et à bientôt, je retournerai pendant mon séjour prochain à Pondicherry!

The best crepes I have had so far!! They had just opened back up on my last day in Puducherry and that's how I lucked out to get a chance to have brunch there. Their sweet crepes are great but it's the savoury ones that took my breath away. I had this pesto-cheese crepe that was just mind blowing! The ambience is warm and beautiful and the hostess was kind enough to explain how she makes her pesto and what cheese they use.  Bruch at Crepe In Touch was the best part of my Puducherry trip!!!

#PondiEpisode<br/>#FrenchTouch #BreakfastStop<br/><br/>Sultry Rides....Scortchy Heat....This saviour stop has nullified the void....Healthy French Breakfast...<br/><br/>The ambience was elegant....Well conditioned...And spot on for pictures<br/><br/>The food was alright I could say...Of course healthy food is never so delicious...<br/><br/>#Belle-Ile<br/>Has a great look...And a wonderful finishing on serving....It could have been more tasty<br/><br/>#EggTomatoCheese<br/>I couldn't find the magic in the blend of all the three....Either tomato was alone dominant or cheese and egg as a combo were prominent....But the overall savoring was commendable<br/><br/>Service could be given more importance and please take care of basic logistics like tissues, water tableware etc are in place and need no special attention triggered by customers

Very rare when i can confidently rate an establishment 5/5.  Having booked marked this place, we headed down for brekkie during our holiday in Pondy.  You can accurately locate it using Google maps. <br/><br/>The proprietors are a french couple, they have a bunch of (very happy) helpers around who basically take the orders and have been trained to whip up the orders as well.  What i loved was everyone was so happy and cheerful, an experience uncommon at most places.  Also, this place is a restaurant and a boutique + souvenir shop , so shop and eat if you please.<br/><br/>We were 5 of us and we ordered the following: (  The menu on Zomato hasn't been updated so i don't accurately remember the names of some of the dishes)<br/><br/>> Salted Butter Caramel Crepes <br/>>  (#14 on the new menu) - Crepes with Bacon, Potatoes , cheese, house butter etc. <br/>>  Crepes with Smoked Fish <br/>> Cappuccinos & Cold Coffee<br/>> Desert of the Day  - Apple Crumble with Ice cream<br/><br/>The savory crepes were made from buckwheat and the filling was absolutely delicious. We demolished 5 of these in under ten minutes.  The smoked fish was also fantastic.  The sweet crepe with Salted butter caramel was amazing too - especially the caramel sauce - so good ! We ordered one desert of the day and after a bite ordered a 2nd one immediately - Great stuff ! <br/><br/>Such fantastic food and service is hard to come by  and i would recommend this joint to anyone visiting Pondy.

Amazing place in Pondy! The crepe’s were cooked to perfection, we ordered different varieties, veg and non veg, sweet and savoury! Loved all of them. And the best part was the food didn’t feel too heavy on the tummy. The ambience is wonderful too, extremely cool place! We had ordered juice and they were refreshing to the core.<br/><br/>One improvement area - the cold coffee wasn’t cold enough! Pls take care of that! Will visit soon!

Quite interesting place with typical french interiors. The cafe was a small one with only two tables. Though the food was lil expensive but not disappointing.

A cosy café that offers delicious food. Cleanliness must be prioritised as we found a strand of hair in the crepe that we had ordered. When we informed about it to the staff, they took note of it and apologised. Careless service in an otherwise decent café. Hence the 2 star rating.

I have had crepes and then I had crepes at this place. Unbelievable taste. Belle-ile a must have. Shotout to Far Breton and the Apple Crumble too.

My new favourite breakfast in town,CIT is located near the busy MG Road. It is an easy to miss place so keep your eye out for Ma Pondy Cherie boutique store. The ambiance is cosy and very colourful. The boutique outside has some very expertly curated objects, just in case your are in a mood for some shopping. <br/>Coming to the food- the crepe’s are absolutely great. We ordered two savoury crepes and a Nutella crepe with vanilla ice cream to top it off. The ham and bacon crepe was really good but the Nutella crepe was 😍😍😍. <br/>I would 100% recommend this place as a must visit place in Pondicherry on your vacay !!

It's a small cafe inside a house, a lil hard to locate at first since there is a small sign outside it. <br/>You enter a house to see a small souvenir/clothing shop, you cross that room to reach the counter of the cafe. <br/>Behind the counter is a small verandah where they have kept 3-4 tables with 7-8 chairs in total. The decor is rustic.<br/>Coming over the food and drinks, awesome crepes and fresh juice. Though i found the ones in veg section to be more flavorful.<br/>Visit for sure if you are in pondicherry.

<br/>Cute little place, nice seating areas! The juices are made fresh from the raw ingredients (tried watermelon and musk melon) nice place for a relaxed small meal

Eccentric mix of modern and antique furnitures, bright colours and quaint ambience. Features a variety of crepes and salads (both veg and non veg). I tried the Saint-Malo which was delicious along with Far Breton with caramel as dessert. Do try the drinks esp the ginger lemon honey mint. Recommendations fall shot unless you try them. All are freshly homemade food. Also has a boutique, souvenir shop and a children's playroom. Please go visit them. Your tummy will forever be indebted.

Just have been to this place during my last Puducherry trip.  First of all the ambience was cool , they run a boutique inside the cafe, also there was a kids playstation in the same premises. Though its not a quiet place, you can hear the noises coming from the public school behind this place.<br/>We came here for some vegan options in Crepes as me and one of my friends are vegetarian, unfortunately that day we couldn't get that. My friends tried 'Belle-Ile' and  Classic 'egg+cheese' Crepe those were just ok. But I tried Carantec salad and that was really awesome,  also their Masala Tea was really really good.Service could be little delayed as they make everything fresh and number of staffs is limited. For me : Ambience: 4/5, Food: 4/5, Service: 3.5/5

A pretty new cafe located in d Ma Pondy Cherie contemporary art store. Holi is the house name. <br/>Pretty good. <br/>The best of all was the Carantec salad. No words for that. <br/>Tried the egg and cheese crepe, the belle ile and the Glenan. Enjoyed all the buckwheat crepes. The Glenan was the clear winner. <br/>Tried the hot version of the suggested ginger lemon tea, which I loved. Also had the watermelon juice, pure without added sweetners. <br/>The Breton cake with caramel sauce was just yuuumm.

Looks can be deceptive.. don't judge this place for its low cost furniture and no air condition.. trust the owner he has lot to offer at this place.. the owner has come from France (forgetting the place he mentioned), he along with his wife and two kids find peace in pondi and run this amazing restaurant. <br/><br/>Food is muahhh.. variety of crepes and best I had till date.. may not be able to comment on service as we were alone when we went for breakfast and got the best of service too.. 👍🏻<br/><br/>They also have a small shop on the top floor. Would suggest you to select top floor for sitting so that it is easy for you to access the shop...the shop has books, souvenirs and stuff. Collection of books is very good.. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Definitely worth a trip. And this is in Tamil quarters, not white town for a change. We tried almost all their vegetarian buckwheat savoury crepes. My only complaint is that it was filling and we couldn't get to the dessert crepes! Satisfying breakfast. The honey ginger lemon tea also deserves a shout out.

A large Tamil house converted into a creperie only a few months ago. Their galettes are excellent, as is their ambience. The layout of the place is very unusual: there's a play area for kids, a nice terrace, colourful cushions all over the place. We had the batz and groix galettes, masala chai, and muffins topped with strawberry/chocolate which came to ₹600. Definitely worth it. Incidentally, they accept only cash.

A wonderful house turned into a brilliant cafe that also sells merchandise, furniture and antiques. Run by a small french family  this place is instantly a surprise with the calmness of the place and the homlieness of the place.<br/>Certainly have to have to have to try their crepes that come in varying varities from pork to beef and fillings including pineapple, banana and nutrealla.<br/>The best is the banana Nutrella crepe that is served freshly prepared by the really humble and courteous french lady who is great at music and drawing too.<br/><br/>A homely place for a very homely french breakfast. <br/><br/>Taste - 4/5<br/>Service - 3.5/5<br/>Value for Money - 4/5<br/>Ambiance - 4.5/5<br/><br/>Overall - 4/5

Awesome crepes! We had 3 different chicken crepes and 1 pork crepe. All were very well made and quite tasty. We also had their quiche of the day and that was great too. Would love to come back!

Best crepes ever. I had the vegetarian one. Belle ile is my favorite so far. Good coffee too. Awesome service and ambiance. French crepes made by a French lady. Doesn't get better.

Very beautiful and cosy place to hang around on a sunny afternoon. Very warm and welcoming hosts and also a great t shirt shop and boutiques right above. You wont notice the time passing by.

A super cozy place. Amazing food. Definetly a must visit on your trip to Pondicherry. Amongst the most delicious salads and crepes a must try is the Lorient.
