Delicious desserts for all chocoholics. They provide international quality which is a treat for our palate. They also have a cafe for yummy treats. Their classic hot chocolate is a must try. They also have wide range of chocolates, brownies and melting cakes. Do not miss it when visiting Pondicherry. The place is always crowded. So you might need to wait. But it is definitely worth the wait. They provide prompt service irrespective of the crowd.

It's a small yet lovely dessert place which chocolate lovers will definitely appreciate. They don't have any seating, so one has to stand and eat. I tried heaven on earth and nutella crunch cheese cake and found them to be yum. My vanilla lover friend loved snow white. They have a huge variety of other desserts and brownies which I'll definitely try out next time!

Amazing dessert shop with a variety of items to choose from. I took hot chocolate (highly recommended though overpriced) and chocolate heaven cake. Both were irresistible but the cake was a meal in itself. The taste is nice but 1 big downside is that there is no seating area.

This place is good for chocolate buffs, they have variety of chocolate cakes, i have ordered seven wonders cake which has different layers of colors, the best part is the colors didn't stick to tongues which is usual when it comes with colored cakes taste wise it was good. They have decorated ceiling with chocolate butterflies. Many cini celebrities have visited this place, you can find their signs to their Cafe Olé shop.

Brilliant dessert place. They have some amazing stuff that will tempt you to no end. Chocolate croissant was yummy, heaven on earth was literally melt in mouth and their truffles were excellent too. But what made my day was their hot chocolate. Thick and chocolatey, with the added chocolate cubes and the unique chocolate spoon! Now that i have drank this hit chocolate, i don't know what i will feel when I drink a 'regular' hot chocolate elsewhere. Mind blown, folks! Thank you team Zuka for making my family 's evening.

One of the finest cafe for chocolate! They have wide variety of pastries and muffins. One of the best pastrie they have there is Heaven on earth. That's definitely "heaven on earth!" . It's a must try. And these people also have their signature product Hot chocolate! They give hot chocolate with chocolate spoon and chocolate cubes which melts when you add them to the chocolate. Such a wonderful innovation. The hot chocolate has such a good texture that you can feel the chocolate!

The best dessert shop in Pondicherry! Their brownies and hot chocolate are a must try. Love the truffle and moksha cake. A small shop for seating but definitely worth a visit!!

Had a rainbow cake and a lime cheesecake. The rainbow cake was bad but the cheesecake was really tasty.

I visited pondicherry 3 times and this place is a must in my list during every visit. This is the best place for varieties of yummy chocolates, muffins, cakes. My all-time favourite is their chocolate pakoras a must try item when you visit this place. They have different varieties of chocolate pakoras like dark chocolate, milk and white chocolate. I got home a box with all the three varieties. When you enter this place you can see lots of butterflies sticked on the roof later got to know by the staff that it all made up of chocolates and every year during Christmas they prepare chocolate statutes( like Gandhiji, cycle...) and these butterflies for decor. Don't miss their special drooling drink - hot chocolate which comes with chocolate spoon, 2 chocolate blocks and a cup of hot chocolate. Mixing choco blocks with choco spoon in hot choco drink and seeing melted spoon is such a fun. You get chocolate mix sachets to buy to enjoy at your home. Just mix it with hot water.Their Brownies are delectable. So when you go to this place make sure to keep your tummy empty 😉 to hog their wide varieties of yummilicious chocolates, brownies and cakes and don't forget to pack some for your loved ones too.

The finest place for any chocolate lover. This small chocolate heaven is located in a walkable distance(around 1km) from the Rock beach, Pondicherry. Currently they are open for take away and online orders only. 52 degree hot chocolate is their signature dish do not miss it. They have a line of pastries including cake slices, muffins, truffles, chocolate coated nuts, chocolate pakodas, chocolate bars and much more.

This is a must try place in Pondicherry for some Hot Chocolate and drool worthy desserts. They don't have their own seating but they have a tie-up with adjacent Cafe Ole where you can have Zuka Desserts and Hot Chocolate. I went for 54 degree hot chocolate and a chocolate sensation cake. Both tasted pretty awesome. I wish there could be more variety in eggless desserts.

Pastries and chocolates tastes amazing.... The taste of choclate and ice creams are quiet different from normal chocolates They have wife varieties of chocolates ...like emergency choclate which is 85% dark chocolate and Cashew nuts choclate, roasted almond,fruit and nut with combination of white chocolate and dark chocolate. Seems to be little pricy compared to other places..but the quality and texture is great and for every cake they deliver they are adding their brand ZUKA as badge which is another attraction Must try if you are in pondicherry

A very small place in mission street, which can be easily spotted from the road is a must visit for some great coffee, chocolates and pastries. I had heard a lot about this place from various must visit places in pondicherry. A very congested place having only 3 tables with less than 12 chairs for people to sit. This is the only problem I have with this place, else this place is wonderful. I got myself few cocoa chocolate bars and they taste really good and delicious. It costed around Rs. 150 for a 60g bar. The pastries were luscious and satisfying. It's fairly over priced. I just wish it was a little more budget friendly and easy on the pocket. But nevertheless, do give this place a visit. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

If you are a chocolate lover, then you must visit this place. Great varieties of cakes, pastries, tarts are available. my all time favorite is devil ‘s own chocolate cake and caramel tart. Kids would love the butterscotch crunchies. You cannot find the best hot chocolate drink from anywhere, except this place. the chocolate pakora is lip smackingly delicious

Hey so this is my puducherry 2nd , 1st day is all about traveling and friend birthday so partying in the villa but coming here we had to try their best which is french cuisine and the best place for that is a bakery . Oui . So me and my friends we came here and got super excited about everything , starting from their lovely hot chocolate with chocolate spoon and chocolate melting cup , their cheesecake, chocolate croissant, brownie, and my personal favourite chocolate pakora( ps not for nut allergy guy and for vegan and for lactose intolerance guys) but seriously it was yummy my favourite was dark chocolate but I am more of a milk chocolate guy dont like bitter things in life. When life hits hard , then after we tried everything, we were happy and everyone went home . Just kidding it's the start of the day maybe you be interested where we had dinner . So bye Just kidding after eating so delicious food how can we just leave it so we went again their before leaving so we went to their and bought some for the family , so in total we spend around Rs 20,000 for gifts and all (ps they have a cute chocolate gift concept like sorry, thank you and happy birthday) you would love it. Then as we were planning to leave they thought that we are very good customer and hell why not we spend 20k. So they give chocolate pakora as a gift free of cost around 10-12 pieces for my friends and me so it was nice but we fight like crazy cause it's free añd we liked it And last line it is true the butterfly is chocolate on the ceiling

Thier chocolate is so well made. You can definitely pick up anything which has chocolate in it and it will taste good. I didn't like their rainbow cake. Anybody who has had theobroma's rainbow cake will be definitely disappointed. But anything with chocolate ij it be it mousse,cake, pastry, chocolate bars❤️❤️ <br/>And well how can i forget LIQUOR infused chocolate and cake.🔥 Rookie tip - the chocolate and coffee mousse cake can get a litte overpowering if you try to finish it off alone. I think Zuka is one of the to-go places in Pondicherry. <br/>I went here on a recommendation of a friend. <br/>She asked us to go here and try the blueberry cheesecake. On the first day when we went, it wasn't available. But still we had some items there. Next day when we went, we got the opportunity to try the blueberry cheesecake. Well it wasn't as good as she described, but was pretty well. However, we had hot chocolate too. And without doubt i can say that it was the best hot chocolate i ever had.<br/>The ambience is okayish really. It's well designed, but hardly 3-4 tables fit in the cafe. There's one big chocolate statue too which really impressed me a lot! <br/>The reason why i rated this place so low is because of their exorbitantly high prices! I mean seriously!? The amount they are charging doesn't do justice to the quantity at all! The hot chocolate alone which was just of 4-5 sips costed whooping Rs.150! It was literally just close to 4-5 sips. The pastries and other items were priced similarly and i don't think its worth it!<br/>Zuka really needs to work on it's pricing if it wants to be in the competition. Or else it will be thrown out if not did justice to either price or quatity!<br/>Needs improvement! Works on that Zuka. Good luck!

Great place for brownies. All varietals are good including walnut brownie. Cashew brownie. Swiss brownies. We got many packed for trip back home.

zuka is located at the mission street which is super close to MG road. Though this place has got limited seating space this place is definitely worth coming if you are craving chocolates and other confectioneries. I tried the caramel fudge cake along with the chocolate orange truffle. This place isn't too harsh on your pockets.

Pastry I tried was Rainbow Pastry. I wouldn't recommend the same as It has grains of sugar. No flavours apart from the sugary dust. I am not sure how it has 4.5+ ratings here. I certainly am sure that this is overrated and maybe manipulated reviews being tagged to this bakery.

It’s a chocolate paradise! We were visiting Pondy and chanced at this place. It’s a quaint little place where you will love everything on the menu... We tried their Chocolate Milk, Master Chef Pastry and the Choc Truffle. The Choc Milk is to die for! A definite place to visit if you are in Pondy and are a Chocolate lover! You will not be disappointed!

Amazing place to feast on deserts

Previously I have Ordered an black forest cake for my brother's birthday it was awesome but today the red velvet pastry from Zuka, which costs RS.120 was not up to the mark , the quantity is very less when compared to what they show , the pastry was not moist and the taste too unsatisfactory . I can't even claim refund since zomato provides refund only for a misplaced item.

Like all we have late night craving, was searching the best one at pondi and was lucky to found this cafe. This was a excellent choice and experience to taste the world of desserts. Choice of cakes and tastes are just fabulous. 100% recommended

On my visit to 4day Pondicherry, I've had the hot chocolate at Zuka, everyday!! It's one of the best hot chocolate I've had. The chocolate is perfectly warm and is so so yummy!! The walnut cake was perfectly made as well.. Can't wait to be back for more.

Veered into Zuka our of curiosity during my walk in Pondicherry.. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of chocolate, the craftsmanship in the cake and the perfect blend of the flavours mentioned ... totally worth it !! Must try !!

Famous for its chocolates and creativity, this is a to go place for every special occasion.<br/><br/>We tried their Hot chocolate drink and we slurrped it all up in no time. Their chocolate cakes are amazing and my favorite is the hazelnut chocolate cake.<br/><br/>We had Red velvet cake here the last time we went but we felt it could do better. The cheese texture had something missing.<br/><br/>But, We will definitely come back to get more chocolates and hot cocoa drinks!

It is completely DRY AND ROUGH with layers of colourful cake, and Very Basic cream at each layer. Chocolates are very very Over Priced and Not that pleasing in taste, 100 Grams at ₹170. DO NOT buy Chocolates from this place. THEIR CHOCOLATES ARE BASIC IN TASTE. Dairy Milk Chocolate Tastes better than Zuka Chocolates, and Are Less Cheaper compared to Chocolate Prices in Zuka. They don't even offer free chocolate tasting, they tell you to buy and eat it for minimum ₹50.<br/>Completely Over Hyped

Small pastry shop with good interiors done. Lighting's are good. Wonder why I am not talking about food, because there is nothing special about it. Most of their products are mousse based including their cheese cakes which is actually another type of mousse cake. Chocolates sold are very expensive for what you get to taste. Have lot of money and not worries about the taste this place is good to spend. If you are a mousse liker then enjoy all the pastries.

After reading the positive reviews in zomato, I was expecting a pleasant experience, however it was the exactly opposite. The food as such was decent but the service provided by the staff was horrible. They behaved in a very dude way and were not attentive to our orders. On top the cleanliness of the place is extremely poor. The tables were not clean when we arrived so we requested them to clean the tables, they used a tissue to clean the table just for namesake and left the tissue on the table. I also noticed that they were disposing the remains of the hot chocolate on the same hand wash we use and therefore it was clogging the vase. I was shocked that this is one of the highest rated cafe is zomato.

The desserts available are really nice but the attitude of the staff was really bad. They barely responded when we enquired about the desserts. when asked to clean the table as the tables were dirty they ignored to do so. Another thing we noticed os that the waste ( hot chocolate remains) were dumped into the customers wash basin clogging it and making it unusable for us. Really disappointed with place. After reading many positive reviews from zomato we eagerly visited the place just to see the attitude of the staffs. A great place for the desserts spoiled by such attitudenof staffs and the lack of cleanliness.

I had high expectations seeing the reviews and ratings on Zomato but it was an utter disappointment tasting the first order which was red velvet cheesecake. It was too creamy and bland. My second order was brownie with ice cream (it actually had a fancy name which I can't remember now) but it was really yum especially the ice cream . <br/>Next time I visit Zuka I would try more options.

As they claim, Zuka really make the 2nd best coffee in the hometown. <br/>(Best one is homemade coffee) <br/>I tried their rainbow cake, italian chocolate , hazelnut cinnamon coffee. All were amazing. This place really deserve 5 star. I would definitely recommend this place.

This place is heavenly for desert lovers! I've a sweet tooth and I require dessert immediately after my meals. This place is easy to find but parking is a bit on the downside. Coming to the desserts, We had the Willy Wonka Chocolate Cake and Chocolate Pakora. They were the best among our orders. Willy Wonka was most, dense and tasty. Chocolate pakora is a mix of nuts made into pakoda. Do not miss this place If you visit pondicherry. :)

The place is easy to spot, but parking may be an issue (just like all other places in MG road). A small place that has a few tables to sit and eat as well. We parcelled some cupcakes and had an apple pie there, and loved it! And the interiors needs a special mention too. 👍🏼

Heard about this place from travel 🧭 and food show “ highway on my plate”. A small but lovely place. Lot of variety of chocolate 🍫 and 🎂 cakes. Hot chocolate was amazing 😉.

During my stay at puducherry, I visited this bakery shop as i've heard a lot about it. And damn the experience was an eternal bliss! The places is as big as a bakery should be. Seating for max 12 people at the moment! The place was medium lit. Have tried cake and chocolate pakoda.Cake looked good but tasted normal and this 4 rating is only for their chocolate pakoda.White chocolate and milk chocolate is a must try but the cost is on slightly higher side when compared to their shop size.

Zuka, the name in itself is a renowned brand. It was my first time to the café. As you step in, you’d be welcomed by the aroma of chocolates all around.<br/><br/>The first thing which anyone would recommend at this spot is their hot chocolate. It was served with a chocolate spoon and some chocolate flakes in a miniature Choco tub. As you sip in, you’d realize why it is rated so high. HE DESERVES IT.<br/>The wide assortment of chocolates and cakes are their strengths and I went to try their Milk, Dark and White Chocolate Pakoras. Their texture looks like a Pakora and that’s why the name. Apart from that, you could only taste sweet and crisp chocolates all around.<br/>Vodka Truffle is particular deserves a special mention; it had the short kick with the sour truffle all over it.<br/><br/>They’ve got decent seating space with great lighting and ambience. Courteous service was appreciable even though I was all alone at the shop by then.

Small cafe with 3 tables, quite a lot many options, it is quite popular and expect a bit of crowd. It is adjacent to cafe ole where you might be asked to sit if they can't accommodate in zuka. Chocolates are delicious and so is red velvet. Staff is good and polite.<br/><br/>Visited second time, the stuffs sell out fast. Tried variety of stuffs like just hatched, chocolate ebony, coffee mist, lava cake. Just hatched was really good. They have cool chocolate bars with catchy liners.<br/>

Zuka is one of the highest rated confectionary outlet is Pondicherry and we decided to give it a go. Upon inspection and based on the previous reviews of the place, we decided to go for a cheesecake. Hazelnut Cheesecake in fact. It was very good.<br/><br/>The cons of this place is the very cramped space and limited seating options for which we were taken to another cafe for seating. Handmade chocolates coffee pastries cake and many more chocolate stuffs... Ambience is good and staff is friendly and they also sell their own brand chocolates those are also good.

After reading many reviews about zuka's hot chocolate, I decided to try one. No doubt the taste was outstanding, however the price (140rs) was non justifiable based on taste alone as the quantity was very small. I tried the wonka cake, but didn't like it very much. It was just OK for the price (100rs)

If you have a sweet tooth and you are in Pondi, it is mandatory for you to try this place. They have the best desserts I have ever tasted in my life. Visited this place after a walk in the old town and was not disappointed. Great products and a nice vibe. I tried the Strawberry Cheesecake and the Red Velvet. Tbh, I've had better Red Velvet cakes but the Strawberry Cheesecake wasn't a let down.

This is small cute chocolate factory. Ambience is cool with little decorative butterflies on the roof. While wandering near missionary Street i found this cafe. I am. not a desert fan, but i have to say there deserts are finger linking. I tried orange walnut bread and caramel fudge pastry.

Café Züka is a tiny dessert bar, famous for its hot chocolate.<br/><br/>We ordered the famed hot chocolate, red velvet cake, dark chocolate truffle, date & walnut cake & another one which I cannot remember.<br/><br/>All of them were amazing, the texture of the cake, the cream, frosting; beyond amazing !<br/><br/>The Hot chocolate is truly to die for ! The amount of sweetness is just perfect and it doesn't overpower. Having seen this place feature on TV, it was instantly added to my Pondicherry bucket list. Zuka the chocolate house is a chocolate lovers' paradise at Pondicherry. Having it branches over Chennai and Pondicherry, Zuca Chocolates and pastries are though pricey but totally worth it. I stopped by it on a breezy evening, tasting their vodka truffles and rum truffles one after another and falling hard for the same. I stuffed my bag with their Biscottis, Cake Chocolates, Roasted Almond and Cashew chocolates and Almond nutties for my friends and family back home. I wanted to try more of their sinful pastries but I was alone and full. This place is love!

This place had been one of the best part of my trips. Simple place with lip- smacking desserts. Must visit place for the chocolate lovers like me. Hot chocolate was really good. All the chocolates are so yummy specially the roasted almond, I almost packed all the roasted almost chocolates there and couldn’t get enough of it. Simple, cute and tasty - These words describe this place perfectly. Its a simple place with cute ambience. The staff recommend 2 pastries - Masterchef and Chocolate Sensation. We were not disappointed. They were light and airy and tasted amazing. We ordered Cappuccino to go with the pastries. The staff informed us that they do not prepare coffee there, but the owner ordered it for us from adjoining cafe. I appreciate that he went an extra mile for his customers. Do not miss this place if you are in Pondy.

I have heard of this place from many people, so while coming from i packed some from the store. As comapred to the name and brand i did not like all the things.Still i like the palce.

Ordered vanilla caramel mousse and lava cake then stopped cause realised that there is really not much balance to either the taste or texture. Maybe am spoilt by the options I have in a big city. The kids loved the chocolate spoon though and we bought a couple of gift boxes. So 3 stars cause haven't tried the assorted chocolates they seem to be famous for.<br/>For Pondy that lacks a similar place, guess it deserves the 4 stars it gets. The place was crowded even 10mins before closing time so Iam sure it's pretty popular. People had actually come with suitcases and bags on their way out from Pondy!
