Review The Smoothie Bar - Pondicherry

One of the best cafes in Pondichery. It's a bit far from the tourist-crowded White Town and hence you can chill here with no worries about the crowd. The food served is also very tasty and comparatively cheaper.

Very good place to try new shakes,juices and snacks,they have so much varieties with good tastes too!!

I got to know about this place from Google so i thought I’ll visit as it has so many good reviews. I want disappointment. To locate its kinda inbtw the houses and no much light so. But it’s quite a big place. Coming to the food . Smoothies were great and they make it out fresh so healthy. We had ordered burgers which tasted just okay, English breakfast tasted good but the quantity was less. And a fruit medley which had all sorts of fruits and was good. I would recommend the place for their healthy smoothies.

Loved the food here. The smoothies are really great. The reason for 4/5 stars is slow service. If the service would have been faster, would definitely rate this place 5 stars. It's a great place to eat at, when visiting Pondicherry.

Good The taste was nice and I really liked the bottles they give out. The ambience is nice. I really liked it. I went there twice and would go there again. But I think it's a bit costly. But other than that, fantastic. The presentation of the food is also good I got to say!

One of the best shop in Pondy and even they have branches in Chennai.. Their all day continental breakfast is too good.. Which I personally loved it so much and suggest everyone to try it as well.. Worth each and every penny.. We had sandwich as well that too tasted very good.. Must visit if you are in Pondy.. Should try their cold pressed juice as well.. Ambiance and Staff was also so friendly..

This is a place hidden inside a small lane but it's not hard to find if your Google maps is handy. It is a very beautiful place with a variety of options to eat and sip. The recommendation I give is to try the coconut jelly, it is very tasty and worth the money. We ate their open sandwich, lasagne and also the pasta. We were the only ones as it was but hot weekday afternoon and the host told us that we must visit them in the evenings as it gets into the vibe. Enjoy!

The smoothies here are very good. But, the sorbets are amazing! I rated one star less for the prices. They are a bit more if you think. Taste is so good. Recommend.

Top recommendation here would be the Coconut Jelly. Very different and awesome taste.The smoothies are nice as well.Especially liked Very Berry smoothie here. Overall a nice experience

When in Pondy a must visit for a sumptuous breakfast. A neat clean outlet, polite staff & quick service. A pure bliss breakfast in the morning & cannot be smoothier than this. No questions asked. Just head straight for this outlet & your tummies will definitely give a smoothie pat on my back 👍👍👌👌Lip smackingly delicious & easy on the bill.😋😛🍽️💯

We went to this place in the evening and when it wasn't very crowded. It had a serene ambience with soft songs on the background. We ordered Lean machine smoothie which contained pomegranate, guava, and watermelon and choconut which was made of dark chocolate and no added sugar. Despite the mention of dark chocolate, it was decent sweet. Vegetable sandwich and veg stuffed croissant was quite filling. The staff was very courteous.

The English breakfast portion was less for the price. Also the place was empty and it still took almost 1.5 hours to serve breakfast for 5 people. Food was ok. Smoothies were good.

The smoothie bar is located at aurobindo street, Heritage town. I saw some good reviews about this place and also they have wide range of smoothies. So I visited this place with my friend The Hungry Nomad . We ordered ebony and miracle brew. Ebony is a mix of grape and watermelon while miracle brew is a combination of choco, coffee and dates. I just loved the miracle brew but disappointed with the ebony which was more like grape juice and definitely not worth the money. Ambience was good , interior was catchy. I felt this place is little bit costly for the quality of smoothies they're providing.

So this place is one such place were really cute and sweet interior stays. Flashy colours make sit more attractive. This dragged our attention and late night walks stepped in. We tried some sort of shorbet and it was good. Photos and detailed review coming soon.

When you name yourself smoothie bar then make atleast average smoothies. One of the worst place is in pondicherry neither the food nor the smoothies were good. Plz avoid visiting this place

This is the worst place I visited in my trip to pondicherry. Most of the items from the menu were unavailable and the service was extremely slow. The ambience wasn't good it was all empty and the prices were unreasonably high. English breakfast had no taste all only croissant sandwich was good enough to eat. pomegranate juice was okayish.

We were informed after 10 mins that food items were not available. Only smoothies and shakes were available. There was only one guy present who was making the shakes one by one. So we had to wait for quite some time to be served.

Must visit place when u are in Pondicherry 🤗

Was here on a hot sunny day and this place did give the refreshing impetus that we were looking for. The ambience is great and walkable distance from the Rock beach. Parking is definitely a concern (4-wheelers) , but that is a common issue around the promenade/white town area.<br/>Food - We had a Veg burger and a plate of corn cheese fries ; which was pretty good. I would like to note that the food tastes fresh and I believe they do not use frozen patties/nuggets for cooking and instead make them on their own. Probably could have been a bit more spicy though.<br/>Drinks - Thoroughly refreshing. They DO NOT add sugar to the drinks , which is great imo.<br/>Would love to visit the place again.

I ordered dark desire thick shake here. It is too delicious filled with dark chocolate chips and white sauce pasta is a must try. It will definitely make your day.

Amazing range of healthy shakes available served in to-go glass jars which are really eco-friendly. Titan, Cookie monster, and Green gold were really worthy. The delicious food complements the smoothies.

Such a young and hip place in the heart of Puducherry, they make such amazing smoothies with fresh fruits, no added sugars, in Medium-300ml and large-500ml servings. The service and the staff was good. We bought 3 flavors - Very Berry, Immortal and Choconut smoothies as you can see in the pics, good music plays at the background. The ambiance of the place is super with indoor plants and good interiors. We came in late night to close our day here.

This was our first cafe at Pondicherry and the experience was mesmerizing. It was all the variety of smoothly one can name.... Amazing ambience and yummmmmm smoothy...... Its a nice place to visit after a beach walk. Very close to the beach it is. Just one suggestion that they could provide straws with smoothies and shakes.

Been to this place for breakfast with friends. The place is simple nothing fancy.<br/>The food is tempting. All freshly made and it's delicious. We had shakes and juice. All prepared in front of us. No add cream and extra sugar.<br/>The burger we had, the patty was really soft and crunchy. I finished it in no time.<br/>Highly recommend it if anybody is these for vacation. We were looking for a place to have a good breakfast that’s not too heavy on the pocket as as well. I instantly got hooked to this place reading the word ‘smoothie’. Predictable enough, they had a wide range of Smoothies which excited me, beyond the fact that their food menu was limited.<br/><br/>We walked in by 11 am and the place was quite deserted with less of staff as well. My first impression of the place was quite good because it was spacious, well-lit and casually decorated. The music was peppy and the bright lights made the ambience more energetic.<br/><br/>Coming to the menu, they have intelligently segregated the smoothies and included a variety of veggies/fruits that’ll leave you totally confused. I was looking for something to soothe my stomach so I went for Green Gold smoothie (Spinach + Lettuce + Green Grapes + Green Apples + Ginger + Basil + Lemon). <br/><br/>In food, even with the limited options, Smoothie Bar offers dishes that are filling and can complement your smoothie. I went for Veg Stuffed Croissant as I love Croissants already. It didn’t look very heavy.<br/>We ordered at the counter and settled in. It took quite a while for the first smoothie to come. Even post that, the food and the second smoothie arrived slowly. They seemed adequately staffed, so couldn’t figure why there was a delay.<br/><br/>But both, the smoothie and croissant, were good. The croissant actually was better than the picture in the menu. The pesto sauce was a yummy addition and the cheese made it even more delicious. We had also ordered a Chicken Burger which took long to come and felt more like a veg burger upon eating.<br/><br/>We took it up with the staff and they said they would replace it. It looked like it was just assembled and not freshly made from scratch. Still they took too long so we decided to leave. With that, they gave us the replacement burger as take away. And we left the place still a little hungry. <br/><br/>The service was a little slow the entire time (just a heads-up for anyone who visits). But, food was decent and the Smoothies are to go for, definitely.

It's a quite place in the busy market of Pudicherry, perfect for a family outing. The smoothies are first class, we also tried their tender coconut jelly which tasted great. Sandwiches are filling, will surely come again 😁

I would give 4* for the smoothies. They have a wide selection of smoothies, cold pressed juices and health drinks. They also serve vegan food and smoothies. But the real disappointment was the food. We ordered a Spanish omelette which nothing like Spanish Omelette with hardly any stuffing(the pictures will confirm). Next we ordered Chicken burger and in came a medium sized burger with just five small pieces of potatoes (look at the pictures). For the price they charge the food is not worth. The quantity is puny and the quality is average.<br/><br/>Will I visit the place again? Yes definitely for the smoothies and juices and certainly not for the food.

Absolutely love this place. Their Veg stuffed croissant is as amazing as it looks in the picture! Made fresh, has loads of cheese and the croissant is just utterly butterly delicious. I also tried the Elixir cold pressed juice which was pretty good too. The place itself is really pretty and the music they play just makes the entire experience wonderful. I bobbed away to glory eating my croissant and enjoying the acoustic music. Definitely recommend visiting this place.

Horrible it was. Smoothies not tasty so bitterness. Under cooked nuggets served. When enquired they said that they got a new ingredients so does the tastes differs than usual. They didn’t admit something not right from their end. Over all a bad and disappointing situation.

The smoothie bar has a pretty and fun decor welcoming you with all the wooden desks and fun one liners on the wall! On my way to shop along the famous JN Road, I made a quick halt here and grabbed a Strawberry Smoothie and a Spanish Omlette. While the smoothie was refreshing, doing justice to the name of the place completely, I was a bit disappointed by the Omlette TBH. The people behind the counter were warm and the service was fast.

The place is in the heart of the town. It's pretty, quiet place with amicable staff. I sadly couldn't try their smoothies since I had a cold. But they have some interesting combinations and options like vegan, added sugar free and I can't wait to come back to try them out. We tried the chicken pasta and Spanish omlette. Enjoyed it both. Pondicherry gets it's small gem in the form of 'The Smoothie Bar' located in heritage town.<br/><br/>I visited this place along with my husband purely on Zomato review and perhaps one of the best decisions we could have ever made.<br/><br/>We were quite surprised to find this place completely empty at 6pm on a weekday.<br/><br/>Cozy interiors, courteous staff and lip smacking food and beverages. A special mention about the guy Chandru who willingly takes orders and prepares them with his friendly smile. This place is also very reasonably priced.<br/><br/>We began with some fresh fruit smoothies. We ordered a Pineapple juice and the Lean Machine- a very healthy combination of Guava, Pomegranate and Watermelon. Both were very soothing.<br/><br/>The next up was Cafetella smoothie- a droolworthy combination of coffee, Nutella and ice cream. The Nutella flavour was a bit less but this one overall can never go wrong and fresh fruit chickoo thick shake which was very flavoursome.<br/><br/>The last was Veg Burger. You bite into a wholesome combination of crunchy veg patty, along with cheese and aioli smeared over bed of burger bun. This one was served with sliced herb potatoes and was very heavy and vegan friendly.<br/><br/>This place definitely does give many luxurious outlets a run for their money. I am very soon going to visit their other inviting options from the menu.<br/><br/>

Not worth the money. We ordered choconut, very Berry and Titan. Titan was juice and better compared to milkshakes. Milkshakes were full of ice and watery. Not thick and creamy as required. The rating is high I guess because they giving complimentary dessert for good zomato review

I can say one of the best Cafe in whitetown.I ordered Veg Nachoes and Verry berry(mix of strawberry , almond & banana) are extraordinary in taste.The menu looks great and contains most of the varieties of mocktails, smoothies and fruit shakes.Last but not the least plays very soothing music.

The chicken sandwich was amazing, the chicken was cooked properly. For smoothies, the group had mixed opinion. If you don't like banana shake, then don't go for smoothies. Overall, the experience was good and the staff was courteous.

Good place for health freaks, most of the drinks taste good, most of the ingredients they use are pretty fresh that's appropriated the only draw back is it's quite expensive compared to shops like Drunken Monkey! Ambience is good, don't know why most of the networks will not work inside the shop! We really enjoyed being there. We had delicious smoothies and shared them and they have a legitimate menu of food as well like burgers and sandwiches. Many vegetarian options. Very clean environment and healthy options.

By far one of the best places I have eaten at in pondi with some amazing although expensive smoothies. <br/><br/>Their jumbo croque monsiuer is to die for. <br/><br/>Apart from that I tried miracle brew, euphoria, nuttyaffair , lean machine and watermelon juice

Terrible service. We had to wait more than an hour for our food. We got 1 dish and it became completely cold by the time we got the other.<br/>Improving the service would be better.

The best smoothies in town! We ordered a Oreo frappe, dark magic and dark dreams and enjoyed it. Music also good and service was quick. Will come back again

We went to this place in the evening and when it wasn't very crowded. It had a serene ambience with soft songs on the background. We ordered Lean machine smoothie which contained pomegranate, guava, and watermelon and choconut which was made of dark chocolate and no added sugar. Despite the mention of dark chocolate, it was decent sweet. Vegetable sandwich and veg stuffed croissant was quite filling. The staff was very courteous.
