Review Cafe Xtasi - Pondicherry

The pizzas are great. They have a wide range of pizzas starting from classic to home curated recipes. We ordered chicken wings in barbecue sauce and Samurai Pizza, both tasted really good. The ambience is also good, with lot of place to seat. The staff is quite courteous and helps in ordering. Cheers to the team....

We wanted to try pizza, unfortunate that we went for lunch. So we settled for butter naan and butter chicken masala curry along with chicken 65. Ambiance is really good, service they can really improve. One of the best butter naan we have tasted. Only Undesirable is the flies, Certainly, the tables could have been maintained clean.

Cafe Xtasi is one of the best cafes in Pondy! One must plan one of the meals of a day at this place while visiting Pondy. The staff members are very polite. Honey chilli potato and garlic bread were lip-smacking. Vegetariana pizza was topped graciously and was juicy at each bite . Their pesto pasta is the best I have had so far; the fragrance of basil at each bite and the fresh olives makes the pasta delicious. Veg and paneer burgers were loaded with a good amount of vegetables and the patty didn't taste just potatoes unlike in most cafes. They make perfect Masala lime soda and one glass of it won't seem enough. It's very quenching and pairs well with the food!

Good place to have Pizzas and pastas. They have multiple options in veg and non-veg. I tried their mushy pasta, pizza vegetariana, mint mojito and lime soda. Everything was good in taste. Service was also fine.

Cute tiny cafe giving college vibes with affordable delicious food. The pizza and pastas here are amazing. Burger was regular. Drinks need little improvement. Overall great place!

Let's talk about the food - had their Chicken 65 Pizza and plain ginger ale. Both the dishes were bloody brilliant. The crust of the pizza was not to my liking - cardboard thin, but it wasn't a major complaint. I genuinely felt it was a tasty pizza and the cheese was great. I've tried a few wood fried pizzas around pondi, but this is right on top. Would recommend for the food. The plain ginger ale is fermented right at Auroville and I frankly loved the drink. Goes by the name Kajimba and would definitely recommend it. I only visited the ground floor, but the dim lighting and the oldish feeling walls didn't really feel very appealing. Service was a bit of a mess - could notice that the orders were being confused and the waiters were debating who this pizza belonged to. Not a very reassuring sign. Most of the beverages were unavailable - and the weekend was just getting started. Lot of scope to improve.

It is one of the budget friendly place in pondicherry for having good pizza. We order two pizza spicy Thai pizza and spicy barbeque pizza. Both were tasty. And need to wait for 15 minutes to get a pizza. It is a good place if you are looking budget friendly authentic pizza

If you want to try out a good pizza in pondi , cafe xtasi is the place to visit. It's a small Cafe and mostly it'll be crowded in the peak hours. But it's worth it for their pizzas

We had ordered a chicken pizza & a paneer pizza. The food was quite good. But then, when we were about to order grilled chicken, they said it will take half an hour, so we changed it to chicken salad & paneer salad so that it won't take that long. And yet it took them more than half an hour to serve the salads. The response from the staff, whenever we enquired while waiting for it, was not appealing at all. This might have been a one time fault, but the way they responded to it was not acceptable.

Loved the wood fired pizza and pasta. Made right in front of you. Best in town. If you are visiting Pondicherry and you are a pizza lover, then you must try pizza here. Price was the same compared to other cafés in pondi. Consistently great pizza with great variety of toppings and styles. Service is fast too. Can’t go wrong with this place.

It was a lovely experience. We ordered a bunch of stuff like caeser salad, peri peri chicken salad and different types of burgers. All the dishes were very flavorful with good presentation. I loved the place especially the upstairs section as it is very breezy which helps on humid Puducherry days. I recommend trying from their wide variety of burgers!

Has very good dining experience on my vacation in Puducherry. I loved the ambience and the Wood fired pizza is just awesome, out of the world.

I had heard of this cafe from a long time from many people.<br/>Finally had a chance to order from this cafe on my trip to Pondicherry. After tasting the pizza, I'd definitely say that this cafe is a must visit for anyone who visits Pondicherry. Even pizza haters will fall in love with pizza after having the delicious pizza from here.<br/>This place offers a wide variety of pizzas, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian and in different sizes. The jumbo pizzas are an eye-catcher.<br/>I had ordered a regular meat lover's pizza. It had pork peporoni, sausages, ham and bacon along with a heavy dose of stringy mouthwatering cheese. The crust was thin and light. The regular size was satisfactory for two, although we yearned for more because of the lip-smacking taste.<br/>I personally love this cafe and I know everyone will as well.

The paneer n cheese served were of a very bad quality..the pasta was not completely boiled. We still spoke verypolitely untill the member of ur staff got impolite ..<br/>Food can sometimes taste good or bad it happens...but the way the staff treated us was highly not appreciated very rude behaviourn senseless talks

If you are in Pondicherry and pizza lover you should definitely try this place. The best part about Xtasi is they make such thin pizza base. The toppings are delicious. Pastas is the second best item on the menu which should not be missed. The gravy is delicious. All the food served is freash and 100% hygienic. Waiting time is too much but worth waiting. this place has its own unique vibe. Cool painting, wall art, catchy quotes.

I was in puducherry with my family so my cousin said to me lets try pizza of this cafe .And really guyz it was so delicious and ambiance is also perfect .and pizza is so large .its a very yummy pizza . Plz try this pizza once .

My 3 rd time experience here very very Rude staffs treating their guest as like they are sponsoring for us we asked them if the place is available for 3 person they said to go 1 at floor or rooftop we went directly rooftop as he guided when we enter the guy in rooftop just said us " NO PLACE GO" 😡 that made my friend to levae the restaurant and somehow we said him the guys in counter said us to go rooftop please inform him that there is no space he never replied just ignored us SERVICE-0<br/>We went 1 at floor and the guy over there somehow managed and gave us the seat and we started to order a girl was well behaved she took order we said pizza ,lollipo,french fries,iced tea and chicken my friend noticed she did not ask me which size pizza we also don't say it after a while one guy came to us and said no iced tea available and we tried to say the size he vanished my lollipop came and was tasty 😁 and waited 40 min for regular pizza as we approach Ed them and said the size and never get my fries till we finished ur food our drinks everything and asked for the fries they were very busy at quarilling the girl looks clueless but she did her job good.those guys need to pay attention to guest we asked them to cancel the fries and give us the bill<br/>Hospitality-2/5<br/>Servive1/5<br/>Food 5/5<br/>Price -3/5<br/>Finally we end up with the bill of 1000 bucks and we left the restaurant and never gonna visit again here

This is one of the happening place on pod u cherry, with a mix of restaurant and club format, which suits everyood of the occasion, perfectly situated, with a mind blowing ambience and courteous staff, a whole new look .....which refresh you and zoom to enjoy every second over here, prices are pretty good too.....loved their pizzas, and their Mediterranean cuisine have a lot to choose from, nice mixed of beverages.....fully worth of spending.....will recommend to visit ......good ouch guys

Hearing of all the hype we went to this place xtasi which ended up being a horrible experience and making me think why people think it’s. a must visit forget about must visit I would say stick to places which far better service and attitude towards customers <br/>Ambience: nice painting and cute ambience but nothing much to drool over <br/>Food: this is the only saving grace the food the pizzas we ordered were really awesome each one of the variety we had chicken and corn paneer bacon and ham all of them was very tasty but it took growths. 1 hour and at least 10 follow up before it was served no one seemed to have any clue what’s going on with the order the supervisor was another joke and the attitude and arrogance that he was showing was too much we wasted more than one hour of our trip to be their and all our questions were falling to deaf years after all this one dish never made to the table when asked it is coming we finished our food stil there is no clue of the dish that was to be served chicken morsel one of our group had to come back without food when asked multiple times they had absolutely no answers so we asked to cancel the order which was done and hear the best part the bill took 20 mins to get to the table which never came to the table we got up to leave an I had to go to the person and pay the bill as if it was my necessity <br/>Team xtasi you have good food but u need pull up your socks in terms of service worse no one is going to come back and the bad mouth will bring u down the same way it took u to height of success Disappointed <br/>I prefer writing about food than experience

We were 5 friends and were very hungry. Reached and ordered for pizza, pasta, and burger. They came back 10mins after placing order and told us they cannot serve anything apart from pizza. So we asked them to get pizza. We waited for 50 mins just for the pizza. They were serving customers who came even after us. What was worse is that they were serving pasta and burgers too. Pathetic service. They had no answers everytime we asked for our order. We walked out after an hour without receiving one pizza

Turned up at 11:10 am and was told they can't open till 12. Why can't they correct their opening times online and save us the trouble. Unprofessional

This place is situated in main road of the town and it is usually crowded. They have good variety of pizza, burger and cold drinks. They have very poor service. Need to call them for each and everything, starting from menu, order etc.

We had gone on a Saturday. 45 min waiting to get in and around 45 min to get our order of 4 cheese, beacon, margherita, cheesy garlic bread.i have had woodfire thin crust pizzas in bangalore, mumbai, delhi.none of them were this bad in terms of crust and cheese quality, dont understand the hype. Wouldnt have minded waiting an hour if pizzas were good.cheesy garlic bread was the only saving dish. Try out this place if u have too much time to waste for a below average food.

Fantastic pizzas in Pondicherry.

We travelled from Hyderabad to Auroville and found this amazing place on the way. The service was great and the staff was friendly. You will find amazing wall arts here that will bring the vibe in you. When it comes to foods, we had chicken 65 pizza, chicken and cheesy fries, french fries and xtasi pizza. The food was extremely delicious. It was beyond our expectations. Glad we found this cafe!!

I had requested not to add onion & capsicum to my Mr Veg pizza but it was added. I had requested for extra oregano which I did not get

Everyone suggested me Cafe Xtasy and it lived up to the expectations. We had a meatadness and vegetarian large pizza and it was really really good. Recommend everyone to try it at least once if you're coming to pondicherry

Poor quality pizzas .

We went here based on zomato rating and were not disappointed .. The pepper chicken starters and blueberry mojito were amazing .. The pizzalicious pizza was a less flavourful so a little disappointed there.

The pizzas were decent. The shakes came an hour later . The Agli o olio tastes like fried rice

The place was very overpriced, and the quantity of pizza was way too little. While the toppings seemed interesting, it still did not justify the price. Give it a miss, it is just hyped a lot.

Ordered veg pizza without mushroom but it was not followed and was all over the pizza. Taste was good of pizza. Cheese fries was a disaster maybe it’s not a dish for delivery as cheese got too saugy to be able to consume it.

I found this place to be a bit over rated. It could be because I went there at a busy time, but a place known for its pizzas shouldn’t serve you cold ones. The ambience was very cozy but somehow it seemed slightly dirty that day.

I visited this cafe on many of my friends recommendation, but didn't like it at all. The pizza was okayish. We ordered Mr. veg and margarita both were served very late and wasn't very good. The price was also high and absolutely not worth it. Even the service is very very slow. We also tried cheesy fries, cheese was so stiff and tasteless it overbaked and wasn't edible at all. For dessert we had choco lava cake, the cake was very small even smaller than an ice cream scoop.

Worst service ever. Service staff as no etiquettes. Waitress served water as she was doing a favor. Order status is unknown. We went to this place based in recommendation from a friend and the rating was good. Do not expect a great ambience as such but the pizza was good.<br/>Dishes:<br/>French fries: a little hard<br/>Pizza Vegeta: light and good. Though not all veggies in the description were added the lightness of the pizza compensated for it.

Mango ice tea and mast guava were amazing in drinks... The pizza we ordered was Tom got herbs.. it was not spicy but we knew it before hand. Being vegetarians the options reduces but it was good and nicely baked. The fried were however a little oily. The staff was ok. Had to wait for 15 mints before the staff brought us our bill. We had ordered Mast Guava and Xtasy lemonade. Both were refreshing. Later, we ordered potato wedges. It was crispy and tasty. Would recommend this place for an evening hangout.
