Review Subway - Pondicherry

I have been buying from Subway for a long time, but all the time it has been through Zomato or Swiggy, this time I personally visited the shop. The shop looks vibrant and has a good atmosphere to it. The staff are good and polite. The sub i ordered recently was Veggie Delight and Veggie Shami 6 Inch, they both tasted good, direct buying is very cheap as compared to Zomato and Swiggy. Good Experience

I visited the subway once I bought one wheat veg roll in this place It was good taste Its price 190 rupees Its locate near the railway station

employees use the same glove for all tasks ranging from the kitchen to the reception counter without a glove changer to take the cut vegetables from the containers and put them on the choice of bread. The same employee uses the same glove to use his phone and prepare the sandwich. A well-bearded manager handles his beard and hair then takes the cakes with his hands without gloves. Lack of basic hygiene to explain the common sense of Risks linked to the absence of basic food hygiene. This can lead to food poisoning, food borne illnesses such as Salmonella and E. coli infections, and a range of symptoms from mild stomach upset. Need regular professional immersion of motivation in food hygiene

The food here is alway great and up to standard. Totally love subway in India. They go all out when making the subs, adding sauce generously and not skimping on salads. Love it!

Awesome packages…. Fresh and tasty too.. Eating one sandwich is filling and healthy too… Multigrain bread was very soft and yummy…

We had Panneer and Mexican with Multi grain bread option. Chose our own fillings suiting to our medium spicy flavours. The only drawback was having no washbasin though they're providing lot of tissues.

It’s a great experience. Subway sandiwiches are awesome, tasty and healthy. For those health conscious people try Subway, you will not be disappointed. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and makes great recommendations.

I really love the quality of food here. I had the Tandoori Tofu salad and it was the best salad I've had in a long long time. It was quite refreshing and fulfilling too!❤️ The place also sells AMAZING cookies!!! I never come out of a Subway without getting a cookie - it is THAT good. (ask them to warm it up before eating it😉)

One of the Best subway Branch in India, staffs are friendly services is great. Veges and breads are maintained fresh.

They charged 20 Rs more for the Coke than the MRP..beware of this error 8n the billing system..

As usual, one of the branches of Subway located in White Town. The lady at the vegetarian counter was polite and took our requests with humor.

Wow !!!! Great experience here. That was a rainy day and I entered into this restaurant, they helped me lot to choose my sandwich which I actually imagined. Tasty and spicy one. Chicken & mutton, even fish sandwich available. More space for crowd. Lots of chairs. Restrooms available. Reasonable price. Totally pondicherry got a good subway. 😀

Have visited this outlet on many occassions. The service is good. The taste is ok, considering the limitations. The lettuce needs to be fresh. It tends to be slightly brown sometimes. The staff need to pay attention ti the fact that their T-shirts may come in contact with the sandwich while packing.

I am writing this considering the status of the subway in Mission street .... the thermal scanner done & taking numbers from customers as reference for their visit is very well done but the things which upsets me even thaught all staffs were wearing mask during service ...there are other people in the counter without Subway uniform not. Wearing mask or following any COVID guidelines which is a alluring factor 😡<br/>Regarding order my BMT Italian foot long was good as usual.

Worst restaurant... Has become very expensive and not worth the money... Hope it shuts down soon so that many indians could save up their money and could eat something healthier!

The bread served to us was very stale. The patty was not warm . It was cold and hard.

A very bad experience.. Being a regular customer of subway everywhere I go, deeply dissapointed..<br/><br/>Ordered a salad from swiggy.. The quantity was one-third of what is usually served..

I bought an Mexican patty sub thought it would be crisp but it wasn't crisp it wasn't like on the photo and i opted for extra cheese (rs.25) , premium veggie(rs.60) and plain cheese bread which wasn't there. Had a terrible experience.

The food was okay.this place lacked few veggies when I was there but fine the staff was super kind...<br/>The place was all clean and neat..<br/>The only draw back is.. they were adding cheese to every sub without asking.

Unfortunately this review is to say that the service has gone from tolerable to bad to worse in the last couple of weeks.<br/>First I ordered through swiggy a sub with cheese and toasted. There was no cheese and it wasn't toasted. When I informed the same to swiggy they washed they're hands off the matter saying the restaurant is responsible. They did say they would inform the restaurant, but I never heard back after that. Ok let's say it was a one of case and could let slide.<br/>Next I went with a friend, while taking my order the girl didn't ask me if I wanted it with cheese or toasted. I had to draw her attention to it at least 3 times and insist on the fact that I wanted a toasted sub! Even after that she asked me again if I wanted it toasted, as if she couldn't believe what I was requesting, or she'd never heard of it before! Hello where did the good service go?<br/>Yesterday a friend visited and was served a sub club instead of a chicken tikka!!!!!<br/>Of all these times I've had issues, I've never heard a sorry or seen any effort from subway to improve they're ways or their service.<br/>It seems like places only make an effort until they feel they've gained a certain popularity, and then all of a sudden standards fall almost overnight!

The best subway I've been to in Tamilnadu. The staff knows how to roll the subs nicely and that made me very happy. For me, Tuna sub is always my favourite with bbq,mint mayonnaise,mayonnaise,Garissa,southwest and redchilli sauces.

I had the sudden urge for a fresh and filling sandwich so the first option that popped in my head was a sub from subway. I ordered for 6’sub - Hara Bhara Kebab with my choice of veggies, sauces, cheese and multigrain bread via swiggy. The order cost me Rs.70 INR after the discounts. After almost 30 minutes, I got a call saying the particular sub isn’t available at the outlet from the swiggy delivery person; I still don’t understand the reason why the outlet accepted the order if don’t have the product that I ordered for. And after series of calls, the outlet had somehow managed to get the same order delivered to me. Not sure which superhero delivered the product to them!<br/><br/>After more than an hours wait, I got the sub. And with the first bite, I decided to vow that I would never ever dine or consume sub at subway. The sub was cold, the bread and the ingredients in the sub didn’t seem fresh or tasty. The food was a huge letdown and total waste of my money and time.

💥 just amazing. Ambiance is pretty decent. Tuna has always been my favorite all veggies except tomatoes and capsicum. Chipotle with harisa and light dab of plain mayo. Just give it a try you'll luv it.

They make their own bread is the reason their sandwiches are good its something different which can be feel and located near the zuka the chocolate shop ☺☺☺foods are good but hyper rated there and ice cream are not value for money over rated

Yummy yummy sandwiches (subs) with different types of verity breads and sausages. Awesome rolls also. We can also go for deserts here. The best sandwich I have ever ate.

The sub was real yum! <br/>We took sub of the day which was chicken tandoori. <br/>Great ambience and environment and generous staff. <br/>But being almost 10pm when we went the whole place was empty.

Not bad. Definitely not to the standard of the subways in France. Can get expensive very fast. There are better places to eat but probably a decent choice as far as fast food is concerned.

Subway is my go to place. The place is huge and spacious. The staff are okay. The subs are decent, the wraps are okay but the cookies are great. Overall good. The ambience could be a bit better.

I went for a take away. Regular subway nothing great, staff was very relaxed, when I walked in there was no one restaurant was empty, all the staff was sitting and chatting, when I reached the counter they had a disagreement who is going to assist me, finally somehow one of em decided to assist Me, others were continued their chatting. so it's a regular subway nothing to mention great.

A best place for quick bites in py though it is bit cosy but the subs makes money asside !!!! My fvrt italian bmt with mustard and sweet onion 😍😍😍😍😍😍

For me sandwich is synonymous to subway. The quality and taste has no equal, the salads are also mind blowing. Definitely check this place out if you are a fan of awesome subs

Standard subway restaurant ... <br/><br/>Ambience is good and ample space inside. Parking may be difficult for 4 wheelers but two wheelers can manage in the front.<br/><br/>Also have ice cream desserts if you are sweet toothed :)

Subway is my go-to place when there's no food at home. The Staff are always warm and friendly and this outlet has sufficient seating place. It is one of the best branches I've visited and they are always updated on their offers too.

As usual nice, clean & awesome. Liked the place. Food is good. It may look costly as after GST.. so you may love it with discount coupons. It’s a good, hygienic place to have tasty food. Had a good time. No music to irritate you there.

Good place. Located at easily accessible place in mission street Pondicherry. Has ample seating capacity and the menu and taste is as standardized (obviously) as it can get. Service could be a little quicker.

Extremely horrible service.<br/>Im a localite out here and ive been to this place quite a few times. <br/>First time for chicken ham egg and cheese, they say they wont provide more than 3 sauces. Second time for the same sub they say they will give every sauce as much as we like but no extra meat. Third time i go at 6 or 7 in the evening and the same sub is available. Next day i ask for the same and they say its only for breakfast it is not available. <br/>Extremely uncooperative staff who dont know how to deal with customers. Too bad

Worst subway ever. <br/>I've been to subways in many countries. This one is by far the worst. <br/><br/>Staff over charged for drinks and DID NOT give a receipt, I had to ask repeatedly for receipt. Please do not go there if you do, ask for receipt and make sure items in receipt is what you ordered. Bunch of cheaters ! <br/><br/>when asked for wifi, they said only manager knows password and manager wasn't in the shop. <br/>😂<br/>Worst subway, saw some house flies lingering around.

Same as every subway.. it looks lil big and see to that you are served with the fresh bread.. I recommend you the tuna sub.. tuna lovers you should try this once ! :D

The rating of 4 is only because of the being the only subway operational in Pondicherry. Nothing exceptional as a subway outlet. The location is a bit awkward, away from the heart of the city hence difficult to locate for the first timers.

It's just like any other subway. But the thing is it's the only subway in Pondicherry. The place is confortably big and can be easily spotted. They do deliver or can be ordered tru foodbeast.

Subway is my regular choice over other food chains when in a need for a quick, filling and pocket friendly meal. As usual, this branch dint disappoint. They had some combo offers and Sub of the Day is always a saviour. <br/><br/>Pondi is rich with french cuisine but everything comes at extreme cost. If you don't mind regular food, subway is way better than the junk offered by other chains. Do visit in the hour of need.

The same food you get in every subway. Nothing new. But decent enough to fill you tummy. With much better restaurants all around it, don't visit it unless it's late in the night when the other restaurants are closed

Typical subway outlet! The same usual stuff. Nothing different.. Instead you can go try other places like cafe xtasy and zuka cafe. A little bit overpriced for extra meat!

If you have been there once then you know what to expect everytime you visit this place. They let's us choose all the ingredients right from type of bread to sauces and fillings. The service is quick. I feel the subs are a bit overpriced. I have tasted 3 to 4 varieties. I like their tuna sub and hummus filling.

A really spacious outlet of Subway. Service is prompt and they get a decent amount of footfall. When I visited the place, they didn't have most of the options of the sauces which was a let down for me. Otherwise, a decent place to have a quick lunch or evening snack.

Wanted to have a nice dinner in a fancy restaurant on our last night in Pondicherry but we started off a little late and found everything closed down. After half an hour of mad searching, we decided to just settle for Subway, reaching just before 11, but the meal turned out really good actually. The staff was very accommodating, and prepared the subs with precision. We sat and had a comfortable meal, and returned satisfied. Subway was the savior :D

As a hardcore subway lover I found this subway below average. Their breads are old and they certainly don't bake their breads everyday ..untrained staff.didn't even have egg as an add on.

Its a small subway outlet conveniently located at MG road. Like any other outlet it is povket friendly. Tried the western egg and ham with cheese which was okish.<br/>The hara bara kabab veg sub was of very bad quality. It wasnt cooked at all and gave us an uneasy feeling once we finished. Disappointed.

The only subway in Pondicherry. The regular set of subs, they've brought in a new coupon system. Goes a little easier on your pocket. Very good service and crunchy veggies.

Another chainstore in another town. Quality never wavers, except for the freshness of the ingredients or thw presentation of the subs. The chiken tikka sub-of-the-day was what kept me alive through the dready afternoons of Puducherry. Adding a coke and a cookie/ pack of crisps you have a decent meal for 180rs including taxes. If you are soloing through Pondi , on a tight pocket, a perfect place for brunch, this one.

Located right next to cafe ole and cafe zuka. This does not offer anything great or different from its other outlets across the country except it has a small ice cream section inside it. The staff is friendly and ambience is just about ok.
