Megavarman Ambigadoss
One of the few good restaurants near cuddalore town. It’s a family dining restaurant and the food tastes were really good here. We often go here to try few new things as we tried American Chopsuey. Lemon chicken, Chicken drumstick and Mutton Chukka was also yummy.

Value for money. Went with family and had a variety of dishes. Mutton rasam for the soup was peppery and rich, the chicken starter was better than the KFC chicken it tries to replicate (with a lip-smacking dip), the idli kothu chicken was unique, the parotta was nicely done, and so was the Dosa and fried rice. The kurma to go along with the parotta was just alright, but every other dish was delicious! Perfect place for people nearby. Service was very patient and hands-on too.

Delicious chinthamani chicken , chicken malai tikka, hariyali chicken tikka soup, biriyani , chettinad chicken masala , pepper mushroom, fish finger, panneer finger were our favorite food here. Kaati roll available in veg and chicken. Juices n deserts available.

It’s just in front of Mahatma Gandhi medical college. Dragon chicken will be too good..juicy and tasty.. fish fingers are always good… crispy prawn is a must try dish…..crumps goby fry is the best among veg food…it’s a decent place to dine in… the place is clean…

Prawn curry and vanjaram fish curry was too goo with rice . Mutton biriyani was average . masala Kalakki was yummy . Attender shivaraj was very friendly and served us very well

After a very long time I had wonderful Paya and super soft Idiyappam in this restaurant. I have been traveling in this road between Puducherry and Cuddalore for several years but I have not tasted the food in this place. It was a total surprise. Taste, Service, Ambiance etc are great. Suitable for family and large gathering.

Order cheese naan and tandoori chicken. Cheese naan and paneer butter masala tasted like class leading.. tandoori chicken didn't matched the level, chicken was very dry. Definitely I would recommend this place for non veg lovers.

We stayed at Club Mahindra and were kind of bored with buffet which is priced exorbitantly ~ So we tried this restaurant just outside of Club Mahindra on the main rd.
Vels restaurant has a variety on their menu. We tried pizzas, sandwiches and burgers for the kids. Soups and North indian dishes for the adults The food is very tasty and clean.
The hospitality at Vels is definitely something you must experience.
