Must try cold badam milk. Price of available in items are above the market price but worth quality. Consist of ground and first floor, while u get sweets, karam items for take away. Chat items and dine in stuffs at first floor. Parking is very difficult even for two wheelers since this place is situated in very important road.

The taste and quality are always same… they maintain their standard all the time… Need a snack? Don’t hesitate, just walk in ….

The best and authentic chat and north indian sweets & saviours in Pondicherry. Must try place those who craves for sweets. Little work up needed for ambience. Other than tat everything is perfect. The staffs work there are so friendly, they will serve without any frowning.

Mitai Mandir is traditional in pondicherry with unique flavor and in taste also. Must tray snacks items and biscuits, especially ghee jilebbi has seprate fan base. Mint tea with unique taste.

This is one of my fav place from childhood. The sweet varieties and the chat varieties they offer here tastes outstanding and is with excellent quality.

Good selection of variety of sweets. They also have a tea and chat corner upstairs. The thing that I loved most was that the dishes are moderately sweet and that brings out the inherent flavour of the ingredients rather than drowning everything in a sea of sweetness.

If you are a North Indian visiting Pondicherry, must visit this place for samosa, kachori and jalebi.

One place I go to when I have the craving for Chaat. I have tried most of their chaat dishes on the menu and they are good in terms of taste and are value for money. The flavor of the vada pav, balance of taste of the Dahi Papdi Chaat and the creamy Badam Milk are my favorite in terms of taste.

The Dabeli and the Dhokla as well taste good but I am never a fan of the sweet sauce. The portion is good for a person. Also, the price is pocket-friendly. The vada pav, dabeli and dhokla cost around Rs.25-28 INR. The dahi papdi chaat costed Rs.52 and badam milk cost Rs.74 INR. It’s self-service and the quality of the food is good. The cost for two is Rs200-250 INR.

There are two must have items here. Try their Jellebi and Badam Milk. Even their North Indian sweets are good. One of the oldest places in Pondicherry which is frequented by locals specifically North Indians.

Want to taste authentic North Indian snacks esp Gujarati? Your chioice should be Mithai Mandir. Its a very small sweet stall with chaat options on upstairs. Every single thing is quality assured. Food may look pricey, but it is worthy. Ambience may not be alluring, but the food can make you fly. Just Try...

The Ras malai is my favourite pick from here ... often can’t stop with just one. The badam milk and rose milk are good too.

North Indian style savouries are available here. And sweets and savouries are of good quality and taste. There is also an attached eatery to have chaats. Bombay chats are the trademark items here. Timings are a little flexible with early closure except during specific festival season like Diwali or December end.
Dhanaraj Kirubakaran
This is one of the best restaurant which serves North Indian dishes like Dokla, Samosa, kachouri, vada pav etc. More than 20 years they are running the restaurant successfully. Besides snacks and sweets Muthai Mandir serves mint tea for a long time, which is delicious.

A really good place for chaats in Pondicherry with authentic taste. The dhokla, kachori, samosa all good. The chutneys are awesome! You should not miss the Special Mint Chai! Just fell in love with it! A go to place for chats. Must visit.
Ridhim Singhal
One of the few places that serve good North Indian style chaats in Pondy! We loved the Kachori . Panipuri and Dabeli are decent , though being from Gujarat I might be a lil biased. I'd suggest avoiding the Dhokla but it is a definite winner as compared to A2B and other outlets in Pondicherry!
