They claim to have the best Biriyani in the world. Reality is pretty far away from that. Having said that, it might be the only better place to have Hyderabadi Biriyani in Pondicherry. Ambience is good, service is too fast in dine-in. Don't know about take-out. Equally good for family dinner or couples.

Two outlets in pondy but I like the one in bussy street for its ambience.
They have a variety of tandoor and grill items after 7pm. Tried their mutton biryani and chicken lollipops.
Biryani is tasty and spicy. It also has flavours quite similar to paradise biryani Hyderabad (both are from Hyderabad so can't deny their similarities :P ) but it's really nice.
Their tandoor items are also delicious and should be tried.
A good place for family outings considering their spacious seating arrangements.

Firstly monday evening,8 30 pm there qas no chicken or mutton biryani available.<br/>Below average food, ordered for prawn biryani got exactly 5 pieces of prawns in it with multicoloured super spicy rice.<br/>Next up was naan which came burnt but was replaced on request so one star for that.<br/>Ordered chicken 65 as starters which only had coating fried and given.<br/>Utterly disappointing and even worse was shabbily dressed staff.

It was my best friends birthday treat.....we went for dinner.....the place was good....we ordered...<br/>1.chicken mughalai Biryani......it was absolutely good.....we loved it..<br/>2.crab lollipop......we felt it little oily.....but tasted good...<br/>3.pepper chicken.....it was ok.....not as expected.....with lots of masala....not so dry<br/>4.mutton chukka.....they literally forgot to add the salt in it....we complained it to our waiter....he took that to kitchen....and brought again....but it was not good....

i ordered combo5 mutton biriyani total value 299. but they delivered the product worth for Rs 50. as per combo menu they have not given anything mutton biriyani has been given in small silver pack like 20 Rs lemon rice. 100 gms of rice 50 gms mutton and three piece chicken 65 seperately. lemon juice 150 ml in a plastic cover like onion cover wrapper. i dont know how they gave this for 299 . they mentioned egg in combo but not placed because the biriyani quantity box is very small. i contacted the restaurant about this they told we will inform this to manager and the combo menu was withdrawn . but i was got cheated because of zomato they are creating new combination and collecting the money . kindly zomato should solve this issue.

We are a big fan of dum biryani so in first place we're afraid to try it in but I must say they are serving an amazing dum biryani in south. We tried their special aasife chicken also which again turned out to be lipsmacking. We so much liked the food that we dined their 2 days in a row.

Its egg podimass briyani . With some mutton fry . It also only bones . In zomato its mutton mughalai briyani. You have to specify egg podimas with briyani ok. You simply display as mughalai briyani. This world worst briyani in my life .<br/>

Saw this place listed on Zomato and decided to check it out. Staff were very nice, cool A/C and comfortable seats made for a pleasant start. We order chicken biryani, daal fry and garlic nan. Portions were good and all of the food was tasty. Would definitely go back.

Aasife biryani is quite a popular name in Tamil Nadu, and they extended the same to Pondicherry<br/>They have recently started a fine dining restaurant in MG ROAD. The restaurant design is fantastic and so is the food. This one is till date the best aasife restaurant which I have dined. The service is quick, the staff is very courteous.

The spl bbq has nothing special . Chicken marination was less. It was tasteless inside. The chicken lollipop was full of color only. Finger fish was cooked in old oil and it had that old oil smell. Will not visit again

Bcse seriously I doubt that it's best in even pondichery sorry.<br/>Please work on your tandoori items specially roties.. if you wanna charge that much for a single bread, better deliver the quality as well because my jaw still hurt chewing on to the rubber it becomes so quickly!<br/>A little more proficiency in the staff will also help the customers a lot! I don't know why people leave bad reviews for this place. This is one of the most well designed Aasife Biriyanis in the whole of South India maybe. Their biryani is good too unlike in places like Chennai. This place deserves a better rating.

checked out this place as it had good ratings on zomato plus it was walkable distance from our hotel.<br/>the ambience is decent, live kitchen facade surrounded by tables. The service was quick and the staff was very friendly. Now coming to the food, we had chicken biryani,prawn masala and chicken chettinad and rotis.<br/>the biryani was good, have had better in Goa and elsewhere but the flavor was good and I would definitely order it again. Visited this branch on 2nd April 2018 with colleagues. The interiors look like a pirate ship with ropes and bulbs. It was not crowded. We ordered Mughal mutton biriyani, prawn varuval etc., No doubt biriyani was awesome, but still the "Seeraga Samba Rice" biriyani of dindugal thalapakkati still remains my priority. Mughal Mutton biriyani is same as mutton biriyani with egg choped and distributed like it is done in fried rice. Not satisfied with prawn varuval, it doesnt worth the price both in terms of taste as well as quantity. They take around 15 to 20 min approximately to deliver the order to the table, which seems little more compared to their peers in Pondicherry where the deliver the same within 5 minutes even on a crowded day. Just go for the awesome biriyani's.

I was just passing by in the M G. road and I read world best biryani... and I fixed my mind to try this place one day... went with the huge expectation their ambiance was good and I ordered for a mutton biryani....to be honest the restaurant met my expectation their biryani was good and the very next day I took my friend who will really go mad for biryani.... and again we ordered for chicken and mutton biryani....we loved it. I am not sure about their other food I hope it will be good but I have a plan to try them someday but whenever I go to their place I always end up in having biryani.

This place has the best biryani I have ever had. But just the biryani but every dish of theirs is worth it. Lip smacking and worth each penny. We ordered chicken lollipop, aasife roast, chicken biryani. All of these were very tasty. I had chicken kothu parantha for the first time and it was just amazing. Parantha chopped into pieces and chicken pieces added to it. <br/>The ambiance was pretty good. It's a huge place and well maintained. Service was good and quick. The quality of food was not at all up to the mark (don't know about the biryani ) the guy took the order and after half n hr came up to us to tell that biryani was over... They claim to have world's best biryani. Well they don't disappoint you. We ordered 7 starters and 11 biriyanis. They were quick enough to serve the starters. No doubt abt taste. Worst aasife biryani I have been to. The only thing good was the kind staff and the worst thing being the food itself. Ordered 3 chicken shawarmas.It was pathetic everything was there except chicken. Cabbage , carrots , onions , tomato ketchup , might as well put soya sauce and give it to us. It was really nasty , we ended our order right there and left. Eat biryani or eat nothing. Think twice before going to this place, they don't know how to make few dishes or never had there own dishes personally or actual authentic food.

Restaurant is newly opened, ambiance is good, but not welcoming staff. Ordered chicken briyani & fish finger . briyani was not that great less spicy & felt chicken was under cooked. Fish finger was a nightmare it was dry very oily when I complained they didn't bothered of it. Staff was not that friendly they don't even care of their customer's, have to search for them every time. They gave a feedback book when I went through the comments most of them stated the same on fish finger but no action taken. Had really a bad experience

Already visited a couple of times. First time I had mutton biryani. It was awesome. Succulent mutton pieces and flavourful rice. Probably the best Biryani in Pondicherry if not the best in the world as they claim.<br/><br/>The egg gravy that we ordered was brilliant too.<br/><br/>The falooda was not special.<br/><br/>The second time, we went light. Ordered chicken shawarma and veg kothu parotta.<br/><br/>Shawarma was not great. But the kothu parotta was delicious.
