Review Greasy Tin - Pondicherry

The cafe has amazing art and ambience. The photo frames of the rock bands and rock icons are worth watching for hours. They've got some beautiful collages. I got so happy seeing Pink floyd frames. The bikes make up the cafes visual scene pretty well. The food was amazing, try the steaks for sure. Only downside I would say is that it is quiet hard to locate this cafe.

Loved this place!! A retro cafe with a retro music playlist is my kinda place!! A hardcore biker place, also appealing to the rock music lovers. The owners are very friendly and make sure to keep the customers happy. The Live music is the highlight of the place, trust me it's awesome. A great place to hangout with your buddies and have a good time with a drink in your hand.

We didn't know that it's a RE bullet 🏍️- heaven when we walked in. 🤩 Taste fully done up place with and collection of beautifully restored STD cast iron bullets from the 70's, great music (blues, country n rock), and mind-blowing food to go with. We loved the crab-claw lollipops with seafood sauce. Take a moment to look around the collection of bullet-spares used in the decor. All in all an amazingly experience.

Hidden Gem of Pondicherry... Amazing food , Get the sausages, the Lamb Burger... Get ANYTHING ! It's all GOOD 😊 When in doubt ask the wonderful owners of the establishment. Every single element of the place has been curated beautifully.. Industrial and Chic ... Did I mention they have live bands too.... Go enjoy an Authentic Experience

Greasy Tin, early April 2022. A great bar with really good food and a welcoming atmosphere. Don't let its reputation as a 'biker bar' scare you off... almost everyone in Puducherry is a biker! I went all out and had the Buffalo steak and it was a nice cut of meat expertly prepared. The beer was fresh and the staff was friendly and attentive. I wish it was bigger inside, so show up early for a good spot. I'm going back for the music on Saturday nights to see how that is. Good luck!

A unique motorbike themed resto pub tucked away in the heritage town of Pondichery. Driven by a family of bike lovers the space is rustic in nature yet it's ambience is warm and welcoming. It has both outdoor (courtyard) and indoor (air-conditioned) seating and there is always great rock or jazz or blues playing on a professional sound system - be it jam sessions, live performances or a playlist. Here you can find some of the best burgers and steaks in town. Though entry can be restricted and prices are rather steep, this resto pub therefore attracts a good & decent crowd. Definately recommended !

Greasy Tin is arguably the best chill-out resto bar in Puducherry. It's got a wonderful ambience and serves delicious food and, of course, drinks. There's a live music band as well. The place is really clean and the staff are very friendly. There's a nice and cozy a/c and a separate smoking lounge. I strongly recommend this place to everyone visiting Pondicherry and want to hang out with friends over a drink with great food - 5 ⭐ Oh and I strongly recommend the cheese shots 😉

Ultra Chill Place to Kick Back and Relax with Good food. It's a Paradise for Bike Lovers and Music Enthusiasts who love the 1970s and 80s Music Scene. The Cafe Serves Breakfast all around the day, alcohol and great rock gigs on the Weekend. Besides which they are open in the evenings for a hot cup of Espresso. They have a stage for their gigs, out door seating for smokers. Inside A/C bar and an assortment of Biker Merch. The Next Must Visit Place in Pondicherry.

Best pub in India for bike lovers. The owner is a real royal enfi3ld freak and has a lot of great bikes in the pub. Beer was great and the music perfect. Every biker has to go there. wonderful.

Loved this place in pondicherry. Very unique interiors , a must visit place for bike lovers , completely decorated with bike accessories , books on bikes , gears to wear for biking and the BIKES itself and every single bike inside is in working condition. The staff is nice and friendly , the place has live music playing by local bands lastly the food is good and so are the drinks.

Had a throughly enjoyable experience dining there! The dishes we ordered were perfectly seasoned & accompanied by colorful sides! I simply fell in love with the ambience. The attention to detail was very evident at every inch of the space!

Very quaint bar with some cool retro decors and an interesting owner. Lots of books to read too. Overall a nice place to hangout and have some drinks. Food menu could be better with some salads and more vegetarian options. We tried the crab lollipop and cheese croquets which were rather good.

By far my favourite pub in Pondy. Great burgers, friendly service and the interior is a blast: decorated with Enfields and guitars. The music is good ol rock. Often, weekends they have live bands. Parking is a little bit of a challenge if you go by car.

Such a quaint place to feel happy after a hard day's work and chill with good food, a cold drink and honest music. Amazing ambience. 10/10 recommend.

They have delicious steaks and pastas. Omg! It was heavenly. Its expensive but worth the price.

You ought to be here on a weekend if rock music, live band, rugged ambience and bikes fascinate you. I loved the ambience, has a rusty feel to it, sexy interiors and the bikes 😍😍, the staff is quite cordial. I was in Pondy only during the weekdays, will probably go back sometime later just to enjoy the music on a Saturday and of course to get a good grub 😉😁

Rarely I give 5 star rating to places but this places deserves it all.<br/>Though a little tough to find (Dont follow google map; call and ask); the entrance of this place is very small. Managed by 2 great music enthusiasts (whom I assume they are father and son) they have done amazing interiors to this place using Bike parts, spares, and related stuff.<br/>There is a indoor as well as an outdoor seating area; outdoor seating area is where every weekend some local or famous band plays.<br/>Coming to food ; they have to compromised on taste as well and not gone into concept selling. We had an amazing time clocked lot of pictures (of the place though) and fun chat with the owners. Would definitely visit again.

Such a fun and happening place to be.. The owner has put in a lot of efforts in the decor. Many bullet bike and other modified bikes are a part of the decor. I think they have also started selling bike accessories and t-shirts within the cafe. Live music happens every Saturday night. Must visit for its rustic charm. The food is also quite nice, try lasagna.

Well, my best friend and me decided to visit Pondicherry and booked a place in Heritage town... Least did we know we would come across such a beautiful place right next door!<br/>Live music on Saturdays!<br/>The place and music made me feel so at home that I made it a point to visit everyday until I stayed!!!<br/>Ishaan and his father, the biker boys, are amazing hosts!<br/>I can't wait to go back here!!!

I must say this is the only cafe dat I have waited for so long......and finally I visited today......I ordered<br/>Chicken corn dogs...... wowww! This was amazing...... owner is the coolest person...... Recommended to try their pork corn dogs and steaks.....must try......

Extremely innovative and well set ambience. Too great 👍🏻 the collection of bikes and cars with its history and all time favourite books etc and what not all at one place. Great going guys. However you guys need to improve on the list of menus. It’s too little for such and excellent place. The staffs were very kind and polite.

The place is done tastefully! And reminds one of a Bangalore like pub, in Pondy. Was there during the football season, so it was sans the music but with the cheer of the crowd!! The finger foods are delicious... Grab the crab!! It's amazing. So was main course, the menu is just right! A few were off the menu... Hope to try them around the next time!! There wasn't much of a wait.. and the service is good. Oh the bikes!! They are everywhere and are comforting! The counter has an assortment of spices and locally produced preserves as well. Of course a bike curio rack and a bookshelf!!
