I had a delightful dining experience at Flaming Dragons on a scorching afternoon. The restaurant's unique 'French-inspired' architecture and decor added a charming touch to the ambiance. The food was a highlight, with a diverse selection of delectable Chinese cuisine options that tantalized my taste buds. The flavors were authentic, and the quality of the dishes was impressive. The service was attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was enjoyable. Though a bit costly, Flaming Dragons is worth a visit for anyone seeking a fusion of Asian flavors in a cozy and aesthetically pleasing setting.

Exploring late-night options led us to this place, one of the few places still buzzing with activity. Now, there's a cover charge of Rs 1500 per person, but rumor has it that couples and ladies might catch a break on that. While it might lean towards the pricier side, let me tell you, it's worth every penny. The food? Spectacular! We dove into a plethora of dishes, embracing both familiar and new flavors. The drink selection is equally impressive, and for the cherry on top, they offer hookah. Trust me, trying it was an unforgettable experience. The grand total for our trio adventure? Rs 6287 – an evening well spent. Tho dance floor was small.

Me and my friends went there , just four of us ! Around 12 am and they served us well! Nothing to complain about! The place was cozy ! The food was amazing and the service was amazing!

I went to flaming dragons with my family for lunch, the ambience and vibe of the place is a 10/10. On the pricing part, it's a little on the pricy side but the quality of the food is SUPREME. We ordered pad thai, red chicken w rice, noodles and alot more( do get the combo which has red chicken curry with rice. It's value for money and tastes SO GOOD!), the dishes did take sometime to come but the taste was FIRE! piping hot, flavourful dishes. And as it was mother's Day, MR. Naveen, got us their signature mud pie ice cream and it's HEAVEN. Never had a better mud pie before. Thank you and kuddos to Naveen and his whole staff for giving us such a great experience.

Good ambience, good food. I tried the chicken Dim sums, exceeded my expectations - definitely worth a try. And I couldn't try the fried ice cream, but I've heard that's one of their amazing desserts. Did have their Mud pie - absolutely mouth watering. Also had two kinds of fried rice - they were also amazing. Must try their fried rice dishes too!

Nice service from the staff...they really take care of customers...nice gesture from them....food is actually good with hookah available...nice to spend time here with friends for a DJ party etc..

Celebrated wife's birthday, Customer experience was Very Good, Pradeep was very supportive and helpful while selecting food item. Food is taste & fresh. At the end cake cut was best part.Im so happy with the service😊. My suggestion if you add local beer or draught beer will be Good.

This is a very neat and clean place. Their quantity is huge. One order can serve two. So, Please take care while ordering. They have a wide range of Mocktails. We ordered a panner sizzler and the quantity was a lot. Their Veg Bao Bao was a hit!

The ambience and food are good. We have ordered sweet lemonade, crispy sweet corn, burned garlic rice and Hakka noodles these 3 food items are on point. But we also have ordered pan-fried dim sum and it tastes worst. And service is so slow. After receiving lemonade and crispy sweet corn it will take 45 minutes to get the next order After asking them they have served the main course and after the main course they have served dim sums after more than 10-15 minutes, and that was the worst. Overall some food dishes are great but service is not so great.

Nice place for a night out. Was the second place we stopped at and we stayed because of the food. Chilly beef and seafood fried rice were excellent

Had a really pleasant lunch here. The food was cooked fresh to order and tasted absolutely amazing. Naveen was a really good host and gave good recommendations. Had the Chicken Fried Rice and the Kung Pao chicken which was really delicious.

It's been a long long time we haven't tasted some good chinese food. In the midst of continental cousines this chinese joint turns out to be exceptional. Highly recommended

I liked the ambience and the location. Went there by say 8 ish. I did not like the time it took to serve nasi groeng and mangolian fried rice. We waited for 25 mins, the tap beer hoegarden is good. Had a good time.

Everything was perfect. Head over to this place on a Saturday. The DJ (DJ Loki), bartender (Rahul) and server (Nawin) we're beyond excellent. We had personal attention and our visit was taken care of so well. Absolutely nothing to complain, head over for some kickass Chinese food and drinks.

Only place in Pondicherry to have a hookah lounge. And it was a delight that they were serving alcohol and proper Asian meal. Would visit this place whenever I come down to Pondicherry.

Only premium property to offer good meals till 1AM. Best Asian cusine in town. You must try their Tiramisu. Surprised to see an Asian restaurant serving authentic Tiramisu. That's a must try. The rest must try dishes are beer and honey chicken, Zhao Pandan chicken and shredded beef in hot chili oil with rice.

Best place to visit in Pondicherry. This is the only place where they have wide range of premium liquors. And various flavors in hookah. Coming to their food it was top knotch. All their staffs were neatly dressed and took care of us very well.

We went there based on Zomato review. The place is very dingy and low lit. Although we had a walk around the entire restaurant including the indoor and the open terrace seating, we ignore our screaming concience. To brief it up, there were just 2 guest( us only) and atleast 15 staff. The DJ looked dead and least interested. The entire loneliness made things seem worse. We had 2 cocktails and a starter, paid 1.2k for 20 mins of sitting there and rather moved to the much lower rated but busy, happening and closely located Chitra Cuisine. Beleive me it was worth there. <br/>Zomato betrayed us and should be liable along with Flaming Dragons to compensate for the crap place and depressing ambience.

Visited Flaming Dragons based on their review on zomato and Google. Had their Long island iced tea tower which was the best in my life. Then they gave me chef special starters and main course followed by the best Tiramisu i had ever. Their staffs were well professional and their service was excellent. Would visit this place again.

Been to this place on my trip to Pondicherry. Looked up on Zomato and Google and got here. <br/>Spent here lot of time. Not because we were enjoying, but because the service was very very very slow!<br/>The food was okayish. Not great i would say. We tried a couple of starters along with our drinks. The drinks are expensive compared to the prices of Pondicherry. The best bar to have drinks is Chitra's cuisine. One must really visit that place if you don't want to burn a hole in your pocket. In the main course we had fried noodles, which were even worse than the starters we ordered.<br/>The service as i mentioned above is very bad. The staff is not very courteous and professional. The food takes a lot of time to arrive.<br/>The ambience is the only aspect which i liked in Flaming Dragons. It's not the best in Pondicherry, but fairy better than many places. So keep it for that.<br/>Coming to the pricing, as already mentioned, it's very expensive. Especially the liquor here is very expensive which should not be the case for a bar which is situated in a state where the taxes on liquor is so less!<br/>Will i visit this restobar again? Probably not!

Dropped in for a late lunch during our trip to Pondicherry. We ordered chicken dimsum,chilly prawn and mixed chowmein.The food were fresh and well prepared. The place has a downstair seating arrangement cum bar and also a rooftop lounge. They even serve hookah at rooftop. If you are craving for asian flavours in Pondicherry, this place is a must visit.

Perfect place to chill with Awesome drinks and even better Food. The service and music blends in perfectly fine. We visited this place twice during our stay in the White Town. Pathetic experience. They didn't had half of the food menu available n no cocktails, just bottled beer. Why would someone pay twice price of bottle when u can get it outside. They didn't allow some people to go upstairs and allowed some not stating the clear reason. The waiter was so proud to say we don't have the dishes. We just ate starters and came back disappointed so much! Cannot understand why 4.5 stars. Imagine leaving the place ASAP coz of ambience, availability and what not it spoilt our evening, should have just shut down the place instead of this kind of service

Flaming Dragons is one place where you can get the best Chinese Cuisine in town. Their service is very slow but they bring the best out in their food since its prepared from scratch. They have got DJ all round the week. Hookah is their add-on and first time to see in a restaurant where they offer very big hookah pots. Must try Zhao cola chicken, Zhao beer honey chicken, Zhao szcehwan chicken and zhao prawns.

Best place in Pondicherry for hookah and Chinese food. Try their beer honey chicken and Zhao Szechuan chicken which is with Szechuan corn peppers. It's so authentic Chinese dish.

Visited pondicherry and using zomato, came to this restaurant. They were packed full house, and they took care of us by serving us the drinks and that was an epic which is known as skull cocktail. Food was fabulous. Special mention to Shredded Lamb in hot chili oil. Came here the subsequent day too.

Our family of three visited Flaming Dragon on the 15th of January and we found the place to be really lively. We ordered a Zhao Prawn Soup, Pandah chicken, chicken dumpling, Mie Goreng noodles and Black Bean chicken semi gravy and fried ice cream. The food was really tasty and we enjoyed it.

If you get tired of eating french food and crave for something that your taste buds already know and savour,this is the place! Very nicely setup bar and restaurant,great menu and super quick service if there are very few people. We ordered pan-fried noodles, wontons and American choupsey. Wontons were 3/5 but the rest was 5/5 on quantity and taste. And this place is actually cheap as compared to alot of other french cafes around.

I’d like to inform you people that there is friendly bar tender here ... called by the name Balaji ... he fixes us the best Long Island ice tea in town ... and most of the days it’s DJ akshay who plays the song we request ... it’s more of a friendly place ... where ppl actually know we have come to chill out ... so u know just ask for Balaji and akshay 😍😍 I know a lot of ppl ... want to know for the names ...

After reading great reviews on google and Zomato, we visited this place on Saturday night. This is one of the most happening places in pondicherry with great music and good food. The place is pretty crowded on weekends and they dont take reservations. Its only on a first come basis. Would suggest you all to go there pretty early. Their cocktail selection is also good. Loved all the Chinese starters that we had, especially the dimsums and zhao pandan chicken. For the main course we had hakka noodles with black bean chicken, the combination was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place for everyone, for their food and music. A special shoutout to DJ Akshai who ensured that all of us were on the dance floor with his great musical.

We are a group of 5 international travellers in Pondicherry. We came across this place by chance. Checked out online reviews and took the decision to try. Our faith was put in right place. The food was great and service was even better. Would definitely come back.

Was here for the new year eve, flaming dragons team did a wonderful job by organizing the event. They were very strict on entry by letting only couples inside. They provided 8 starters and all those had unique taste. First time in my life I had a peaceful New Year eve, they had around 10 bouncers and the crowd was excellent. Ambience was excellent. Would try to visit this place for next new year too..

We had visited this restaurant after reading some very good reviews in Zomato and Google. And guess what, this place didn't let us down. One of the best Chinese Cuisine restaurant in the town, if I may say. Authentic taste. Loved it.<br/><br/>For starters, we had ordered dragon prawns. It was sweet and hot both at the same time. Delicious dish. The for the main course we had ordered Pineapple fried rice mixed(chicken and prawns only) and fish in oyester sauce. And both the dishes were amazing. Worst resto pub in pondicherry. Very congested. No place to sit even after reservation. No proper place for dancing. The DJ good. It's better to go early if u want a seat.

The place is the best in pondicherry for Chinese cuisine. Loved the nasi goreng rice and Singaporean noodles. The staff is friendly and guides you well .

Food is really great with some authentic Chinese influences such as the use of Sichuan red pepper and peppercorns for the Sichuan dishes.<br/><br/>The server Shankar is very helpful and has good suggestions and recommendations for dishes - for example he suggested brocolli when they were out of bok choy. Overall a good experience and I will come back.

Apart from food and ambience, which most of you might be knowing, the cooperative attitude of the restaurant is praise worthy. Today I could host a surprise dinner for my keens from Kolkata which many other restaurants might not have entertained to take the trouble and effort. Waited for the trip with my besties and all of a sudden we planned to visit Pondi. Explored all places and dining options, we found this restaurant which has extremely awesome ambience and seating structure. It has rooftop seating as well but we enjoyed seating on the ground floor. Coming to the food, it has all Chinese options and we were awestruck by the quality and quantity of food served. I forgot the names of the dishes but they had perfect mixture of all spices which soothes your taste buds. Pricing is affordable and its not high priced, the live music and dim lights gives you the perfect place to dine. I recommend people visiting Pondicherry to have a go at this restaurant and you’ll never be disappointed😊

Pondy has a new address to good Chinese, i repeat GOOD CHINESE, and i mean it.I came here for the love of dumplings and i was not disappointed. Schezwan noodles were too spicy but thats what it stands for!!<br/>LIIT was heaven and fried ice cream was nothing but a perfect ending to a blissful evening.Next visit is sometime soon for that am sure!!
