Review Pamplona Bistro-cafe & Boutique - Pondicherry

I went to this cute little cafe upon recommendation and boy! It was worth it. The place is filled with all kinds of cute decor and the most welcoming people run this cafe, the food is delicious and the desserts are yummy. It's worth to spend some nice time here. Not for large crowd. and It has a scuba diving school adjacent to it, check it out if you are in Pondicherry for a while.

This is one of the best place I visited in Pondi..the lady was very generous and sweet, told us all different options she could prepare for us..food is awesome there..tried Cheese Omelette, grilled cheese burger, baked beans. Each item was just delicious as hell. The ambience there is something that forces you to revisit the place. Drinks were fine as well. There were some games as well, to chill out while your order prepares. Will definitely visit this place again on my next trip!

This cafe is just off the main tourist passages, but a must visit! The owner is a wonderful host and has tastefully decorated the cafe. We asked for a couple of omelettes, coffee and other titbits for breakfast. The music, ambience and lighting complements the vibe of the cafe. The food is delicious and comparatively well priced as well. Would definitely rate this as one of the better food experiences in Pondy, and a special mention to their fab cookies, pesto and coffee! Oh and they have board games too :D

Chanced upon this cute little cafe on a recent visit to Pondi. The place is like someone's gorgeous little scrapbook, with trinkets, postcards and other knick knacks from all over. Since it was close to our B&B, we went here for snacks and coffee everyday. The owners of the cafe are so full of information on what to do around, and are extremely charming. Really enjoyed the endless cups of coffee along with the desserts that are made here.

I had recently stumbled upon Pamplona on a trip to Pondicherry. I was blown away. This cafe is like something I had only seen in pictures or movies. It is beautifully decorated with a huge number of items, big and small, all of which somehow form an amazingly cozy and calm vibe. There are old movie posters and pin-ups, trinkets, wind chimes, magnets, books, and a whole host of other things, tastefully arranged to create a vibe that I have honestly never seen in any other cafe I have visited. There's also music always playing, but not loud enough to be a distraction. Coming to the food, it is a bit pricey, but that whole area of Pondicherry is pricey. I had Cafe Latte, Veg Sandwiches and a Lemon Soda and I loved all three. The sandwich was filling and makes a healthy snack. There are also other kinds of food and drinks available, like cakes, fruit juice, custards and so on. There's free wi-fi, but I didn't use it. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. It's a perfect place for a date, hangout, or even some quiet time alone. I will be going back the next time I am in Pondy.

One of the underrated places in pondicherry. It is cute little place in the white town area having a great impact on the taste buds. I would suggest to try the pasta and the chicken sandwich awesome fresh. Give it a try. Desserts could be better.

Gorgeous little place tucked away in Romain Rolland street. Loved how it's done up, and especially the Christmas decor that we were lucky to see.<br/>There are wholesome desserts and delicious coffee. We spent hours just lounging here and chatting with the owners who are such nice and fun people! <br/>We went here every single day through our stay in Pondi. Definitely would go back for the goodness that is Cafe Pamplona :)

We had smoothies, a bunch of sandwiches and pastas. We’re in love with the ambience and the cozy atmosphere. Staff are great, food is brilliant.

A quaint place tucked in the roadside. But do look for it. Went for a late breakfast and loved it. Had ordered spaghetti and a Moroccan platter. Loved both. The special surprise was the homemade orange-Mango Marmalede. Absolutely loved it. Wish I could order a ton of it from here!! If you r interested in scuba, do talk here. We are heading back soon!! Beautiful cafe, simply amazing. I ordered some freshly baked almond cookies and they actually melted in the mouth. The main attractiveness of the cafe is that everything is freshly prepared. The dishes are quiet good and you can actually taste the freshness. The coffee and shakes were also very good. The ambience sets the mood right and the place is very near to the beach. The menu is a little heavier on the pocket but it's totally worth it. The Mango-Orange jam is a must try and you would definitely like to buy more of it. I had an amazing lunch with my parents here. We ordered peri peri fries, grilled cheese sandwich and Caesar Salad. Everything was really delicious. Masala chai is a must try! The bakery too is really amazing. We had a walnut brownie. The cafe is a must try for all who visited Puducherry.

I tried their home made organic mango jam as recommended by the chef.. All i can say is itz amazing..fresh.. And flavor is bang on..thank you chef.... Will visit again for more and i recommended it to my friends

Tasty and healthy food at reasonable rates. The café has a nice ambience. I highly recommend the outdoor seating for when the days are cool. The café is quite close to the beach and adjacent to a dive shop so you can hop there to plan a dive.

Pamplona !! Has a good ambience and yummy food. I noticed a lot of interesting old sign boards. My order was chicken sandwich and a burger! They were colourful and good tasted. Cookies are also available there.Please do a quick serving coz we are getting hungry 😋 seeing the menu and cookies

It's different from traditional cafe . Better arranged. Good colours and anybody will feel like grabbing a coffee and pastry. A good coffee destination with an art gallery. I personally have fallen in love with espresso here

I was in Pondicherry for two days with some friends and we had breakfast here twice. It's an escape within an escape. If the beautiful White Town with it's quiet streets, pastel walls and bougainvilleas wasn't enough, this place will offer an absolute sensual delight and rejuvenate your spirits.<br/><br/>The food is to die for. I doubt if I've ever had a juicier beef burger. The protein pots are extraordinary. I had the yellow pot (veg) and even the hardcore carnivores in my group admit that it was delightful. Everything was beautifully presented. Even a portion of pork sausages, the simplest of dishes one can ask for, was served gracefully with fresh lettuce and tomatoes and I couldn't help but wipe everything off the plate. I wish I could describe every item we tried from their menu but I'll leave my friends to share their highlights from our orders as well.<br/><br/>As for the ambience, they had some eclectic wall frames and decor items that gave the place a really lively feel. We played games (they have a nice collection), chatted for hours sitting on the two outside tables just soaking the street atmosphere in and even asked the owner to sell us their ashtray but without any luck. The owner was quite chatty and made us feel extremely comfortable even though we were quite loud and 'Delhi' in there. She had a nice taste in music and that definitely added to the experience.<br/><br/>I'm definitely having all of my breakfasts there, every time I visit Pondy. I wish the owners all the best. The cafe business can be quite unrewarding in India with high real estate rentals and low value per customer, but I hope my review helps, even if a little bit. :)

Loved the breakfast at this place. Had pan cake with maple syrup and coffee. Both were amazing. Plus the ambiance was good as well. If you are in rock beach, this is one of the best places to have breakfast.

This is the cutest little cafe with the most amazing food I have had in Pondicherry.<br/><br/>The decor is very pretty. Pastel colors with some Vintage touch in ambient make it the ideal place to relax and enjoy a good dinner. <br/><br/>And we had an unforgettable  memory as we left our house keys there , the Owner has to chase us down the street to return the Keys that was so sweet about her :) definitely give it a shot when you are around White Town

Loved the Croque Madame and the apple pie. The ambience and the service is what truly stands out in this regard. The adjoining boutique is a nice addition. The platters are very interesting options. I look forward to trying more dishes from them. But over-all decent food and great ambience and amazing service.

Very Filling! Costed ₹450.<br/>One can sit for however long, read a book or do whatever. A pretty café with attention to detail and style. We were received by a warm and welcoming host. When we looked around, we could really see the care in creating every corner of this place.<br/>The menu has good variety of Mediterranean food and sandwiches and pasta. We found the prices a bit high for the rather small portions. Nonetheless the burger was delicious and so was the avocado sandwich.<br/>We would go back for the ambience and the desserts!

It is such a pleasure writing for Pamplona! I am here for a week in Pondy and I bumped onto this hidden cafe by accident...! The setting and the ambience of this place is just so peaceful and pretty that I did made it a point to spend atleast a certain part of my travel time here. If someone is wanting to eat something light and crispy, drink some homemade juices and not the synthetic ones, and most importantly to spend some quiet time by oneself, then this place is the place to be. I think its a family run cafe cz I had some quality conversations with the lady who runs it. I tried the chicken sandwich, some juices and mojitos and I am definitely not disappointed- in fact I loved the sandwiches like crazy, even though I am a bit undecided about their fries with cheese. I loved the overall vibe of this place. Perfect place for a quiet date and for hangout. Carry on and Cheers to you guys! I hope to see you next year.

This is the cutest cafe I have ever visited!! The ambience is so calm nd comfortable! I should really appreciate the decorations of the cafe, I felt like walking into a fairy tale. There is awesome music playing all the time. They have novels, board games available which u can borrow. The staffs greet u with a smile nd very friendly! I went to this place for a joyful evening with my girl bestiee and it was a awesme experience. The lighting gave a calm n peaceful feeling and the place had a gud ambience.Although the food costs too much , the taste is fingerlicking delicious.I highly recommend couples to go and enjoy this place

Small little cafe amongst a quaint neighborhood of White town. Love the way they have decorated the place, lot of them wonderful conversation starters. The owner is a charming lady who has moved away from the hustle bustle of a city. You can easily spend hours there in your own company or others coming through. Needless to say, food is good and made with lot of care.

You will get a warm welcome in a small cozy place with classics on a playlist. A place where you can beat hot sun, relax, pick a book and enjoy a refreshing virgin mojito! Thats just one part of it! Behind the scene there is an empire of lots to offer. You wont be disappointed interacting with the owners!

I had a get-together with my girlie gang recently at cafe Pamplona and we had a blast! The decor is dreamy and quaint with soulful music. And they have the best burgers in town!

Very cute new cafe on Romain Roland street. I had a great chat with the owner Aparna who adds to the ambiance with her vibrant personality. You can take a book there, read and sip on your drink or have a quick bite to eat - breakfast, lunch and dinner options are available. I loved my green mango chiller. I also had the Tapas platter which was good but huge and therefore a bit more pricey. I will definitely be returning to try out other drinks and food and enjoy the great feel.

I visited this place as it was new in town, It has such a beautiful ambience but i had a dreadful experience with taste. I ordered this cheesy fries which was so undercooked and definitely not worth the price. I tried a dessert as well which wasn't great too. I'm so sorry if I look rude here but this is just a honest review. I hope they really improve.

Nice ambience and like really cool and simple way to decorate the place.well behaved staff.and there is a boutique too attached to it.<br/><br/>Coming to the food here it's like good 3/5 marks for it.<br/>Mainly concentrate on Italian cuisine.<br/><br/>5/5 for the ambience and 4/5 for the expense.<br/>We were a gang of 6 and the cost came to 2k.<br/>Worth a try for sure if you are in white town.

Best place - I love the sensation of being out in the open air, far away from all the distractions of modern life.
