Review Veryy Pondy - Pondicherry

We both ordered chicken dishes whilst here and both were excellent. It was quiet the night we were there due to the rain. We also enjoyed beer and wine. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is on the 3rd level with access by the lift from the street.

Veryy Pondy is a place that we found randomly and thought to check them out. They had a 3 floor set up and had a good ambience with a decent seating capacity. Since we went on an afternoon the place was a little hotter. The service staff was polite and had us look through the menu and provided suggestions to try out. The food tasted good, maybe 1 or 2 was not up to our expectations but overall a good experience. What we had? 1. BBQ chicken wings 2. Schezwan chicken wings 3. Peri peri fries 4. Crispy fish lemon chilli 5. Chicken pepper fry 6. Tandoori pomfret 7. Lamb sheekh kebab Had a good time over here and do check them out.

A little pricey when compared to other cafés but the food was good and so was the ambience. We went at around 3pm after being very tired from all the walking. This place was not full and so we didn't have to wait for seating and had a quiet lunch which was the need of the hour for me at the time. Service was good overall. I don't know if it was because of the time of the day we went in, but there was ample car parking spots available in that street.

The food and the service takes you by surprise. The server was very kind and hospitable. He gave great food recommendations and things to do around Pondicherry. We had the tandoori prawns and roasted chicken. The prawns were fresh and had lots of flavour. The chicken melted off the bone and was covered in flavorful gravy. Definitely worth a visit.

Discovered this beautiful restaurant today. Service is awesome. They will regularly check if you are having good time or not. Mr John helped a lot in choosing our menu also. Always smiling and welcoming person. We ordered Chicken quesadilla, Pasta Chicken Salad and Herb Roasted Chicken. All items tasted awesome. Just one suggestion- Give a Lil important in plating. There is a thin line between a good dish and an epic dish. That line needs to be crossed. I will definitely come again to tryout other dishes. Thank You.

The entrance is an elevator which will take you to the 1st floor of the building where this is located. The place has a soothing and pleasant ambience and look about it which you will like instantly. The food tastes very good here and their service is top notch as well. They do charge you 5% service charge but honestly you won't mind it for their superb service. We ordered Boneless Chicken Wings which were served with french fries and a unique sauce made with curd. We also had Veg Dumplings. Both were very good. The host and the servers - all are very courteous and prompt. A definite recommendation

Amazing 🙌🏻 Great Taste … We went here twice in four days trip. That good 👌… They put their heart ♥️ into the food. Be it the rose petals on the Gulab Jamun or the grilled spiced prawns with lemon butter sauce. Just yummm 😋. Their steamed Momos is so well done we gobbled 5 plates as team of 4 other than the dishes mentioned on top. Must Visit.. place in Pondicherry White Town area! Premium taste with a very well mannered team. 🙏 Thank you for making our trip so special… Will visit them soon.

Beautiful place to sit and enjoyed a delicious meal let it be lunch or dinner. The place is elegant, very clean; the staff are sweet and fast. The music is calm. It has a/c. Bathroom is very clean. Food was amazing. I definitely recommend this place specially for a romantic evening with your other half.

Had tried this restaurant last year when we had visited pondicherry and tried it this year. Guess the menu has changed now, but the food quality is the same. We tried the pasta which was amazing. The quantity and taste is really worth the price. Even the price is really reasonable compared to other places around. Spring rolls and fries were really good too. The ambiance is very good too,

If you are looking for live musical evening with good food and cosy atmosphere, this is the place. Well decorated soothing place to spend your time with musical vibe

Prithvi is a people's person. One thing that stood out to me was that we called before going asking about live music. He said it is there, however, there was some issue due to which it wasn't available that day, he called and dropped a message about it even before we reached there. The food is average but the we had an amazing Karaoke night hosted by Damian which made our night. They host a number of events which sounded intriguing to me. If fun nights are what you looking for, I would recommend this place.

The Roast Chicken and Tandoori Prawns were OUTSTANDING. Damien, our host, was very informative and helpful in guiding us about things to do in Pondicherry. The wait staff was also prompt and all the recommendations were superb. Do check it out.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Veryy Pondy for the first time. The hospitality was outstanding! Our server, Ganesh was truly amazing! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure our experience was first rate. The food was excellent, extremely fresh and cooked to perfection. We had the day’s special which was harabhara kabab and paneer. We also had the LIIT varieties there and they were delicious. Everything from the décor to the service to the food was exceptional. Highly recommended! 5 stars all the way!

Elaborate seafood platter with lobster, prawn and barracuda (we opted out from having squid, and got extra prawn) which tastes awesome. The accompanying items like the rice, fry and salsa deserves a mention on its own. Tried the herb roasted chicken and prawn sizzler for dinner and was equally satisfied. Note: If you cannot take too much heat, ask to tone down the spice level in the prawn sizzler

This is a lovely place to enjoy a nice dinner. They have live music shows sometimes that just set the mood apart from any of the rest of the cafes and restaurants. We tried the seafood starter (prawn specifically) there and it is a MUST TRY. The pasta could use a little more flavour but I trust the rest of the menu is fairly great based on my experience. The waiters are willing and well mannered. Overall a perfect dinner destination.

Very nice place with tasty food. We loved the steamed momos and the golden fried nethili. Will go there again.
