Review New Muthupillai Canteen - Pudukkottai

It's an old style shop. We can expect the food in taste. But the environment is like Street food shop. Gluten foods. Three type of chalna's they are giving for parotta. But the taste is in blend manner. Not spicy gravies are there. Other non veg side dishes are good. Even dosas and kal dosas are available. Different types of parottas are there.

A good place to get food served fast at an okayish price...not so low priced as the shop seems to be. Chicken chukka was really nice for 90Rs. Overall good place for a quick dinner.

It's mandatory to try out Mutta mass from here,we get tasty mutta mass from here also.They are serving with good quality and taste of the gravy was so good, Especially for parotta we get three different gravies. one of the must visit shop in pudukkottai

The food here is so tasty I can't say no to those foods... But at night it was crowded so we have to wait a little bit

Food is okay, but i crave to eat muthupillai's parotta atleast once in a month because of their gravies... But sometimes it makes my stomach upset.. so i don't prefer to eat often ... But i would say taste wise very very good, the muttai mass adichikkavey mudiyathu... Semma semma.... Muthupullai one of the famous canteen since 50 years... Very authentic in flavours.. It is always open during the evening and always busy , must stand in queue to get ur orders... But worth it... enjoy eating food..don't waste food..

Try egg mass, Kadai chukka, veechu parotta... All are extraordinary and their gravy is good and won't spoil much if you eat once/twice in a week

A good place to try the local food. Especially Parotta with three different gravies and muttai mass (egg gravy). Ambience is not suitable for dining with family. The food is highly flavoured and might sometimes upset your stomach. Be a little cautious when you try out for the first time. 😉
