Review Baan Tao - Pune

The place is very beautiful. I went there for a wedding so I didn't order any food as it was a buffet system. Food was good but needed a little more spices.

Beautiful ambience with an actual waterfall inside the restaurant. Had lunch here which had a real authentic Thai taste reminding me of my visit to Thailand. Went there for a Thai tourism cooking event and will definitely be visiting this place again with family. Recommended for sure.

We had an amazing experience at Bantao last night. The ambience was mesmerizing. The delicacies served were authentic delicious and very presentable. The staff was prompt and courteous. The Chef was very approachable and open for feedback and suggestions. We would certainly be going back.

Very good quality food offered and excellent ambience which surely gives a vibe of oriental cuisine. The place is not crowded and you can surely enjoy a very good evening with your friends or family. It is situated inside Hyatt Pune and offers very good South Asian cuisine

I have visited this hotel for the first time with my colleagues. The ambience is excellent. Once you visit this place, you will find many spots to click photos and selfies. 😊📸 Next , regarding the food, it was very tasty. I didn't indulge much into the menu as the place was already booked by my organisation and food was served buffet style. Must visit to this hotel. 😊✌️

One of the finest Asian restaurant in pune. Amazing service, delicious food and great staff. I went there for dinner with my wife on her birthday. And they made it memorable with their gesture and service. The coordinator Ms Ananya helped us a lot and made our day memorable. We had so many Asian dishes and out of all, Sushi was the best. Dumplings and Khao Suey was delicious too. Overall it was our best experience and we would visit soon. 2nd visit : Went for the Brunch buffet. And again not disappointed. They have so many options in main course and desserts. It was a worth going. Prawn Sushi was delicious and chicken Sushi was ok. Service was good . Not to mention Sangaria tasted awesome however not too alcoholic.

My husband and I simply loved it. My favourite item of food out of all that we are that night is fried ice cream... Simply delish!!! The atmosphere is to die for especially the indoor waterfall

Of the few cuisines that have been able to make their mark across the world, Japan strongly holds a fort of its own. From Sushi to Ramen and Udon to many Tempuras, it has won many hearts across cultures. Holding the spirit and densiity of the rich Japanese cuisine in the city of Pune is the infamous Baan Tao. With a lip smacking Japanese A-la-Carte and buffet, it would suffice your curiosity and hunger for authentic Japanese food. The ambiance is calming and gives out a rich feel. Service is absolutely top notch. A few must try on their menu is their Edamame dumplings, their countless sushi varieties and of course Ramen with a combination of your choice. What more, if you want to taste a little bit of most of their spread, I suggest the buffet (call for timings) and if you know your dish, always go for the A la carte menu. Yes, Baan Tao is not your average eatery and is very upscale, hence expensive. I owever, assure you you would get what you pay for specially if you are looking for traditional authentic Japanese food. So, what are you waiting for? Visit today! P.S. You have to try their 7 star desserts ! It is extraordinary !

Great ambience with delicious Asian food served. Visited Baan Tao on a Sunday brunch all the live counters had great variety of foods right from grills to dimsums and prawn bao . Loved everything

A very nice place for a Sunday brunch if you like Asian cuisine! The live grill and wok was really good! We also enjoyed khausuey , dimsums ,sushi and fresh salads - the papaya salad and the mango beans salad were absolutely flavourful.. The ambiance of the place is also very beautiful and would surely recommend outdoor seating!The staff is very courteous

Wonderful place to have genuine Thai food. The best part was that the chef customised the dishes as per our choice. Finally we were very very satisfied. We had a memorable evening on 30 Oct 2021. Thank you Ban Tao team.

Confused service, cold food and not a great selection of alcohol. Poor experience at a "so called 5 star" restaurant. Saving grace is the great ambeince and the soothing sound of the waterfall inside the restaurant. P.S. The management was prompt to call my host and apologized for the inconvenience and to top it all offered a free brunch for 6 on Sunday and this time they exceeded all expectations. Amazing pan asian spread...sushi, tempura, thai and chinese and the desserts were to die for...Changing my rating to 5 stars!!

Ready for the DIMSUM LUNCH !!! Here it is 😍 The best dimsum found in all varieties! Freshly steamed and cooked The Texture and softness defined it very well ❤️ So here there the lunch was just amazing The menu is set here and it costed 1500/- per with a pretty good variety of dishes Started with the Refreshing Mocktail - Kiwi Mint Too Refreshing and a perfect richness of mint and kiwi. Salads : Raw Mango Som Tam - It was the noodles with mixture of shredded raw mango which gave the perfect flavour. Crunchy Lettuce with Tempura & Pomela - This was very well present and was amazing Soup : Khao-Suey / Tom Yum Both the soups we're delicious the flavour Soo tempting Dim Sums : Chicken Pot Stickers - Perfect smoothness and the stuffing was done well Barbeque Pork Jiaozi - Pork was fresh and was flavoured very well Classic Scampi Hargao - This had the prawns stuffing,dam yummy Kai Bao - This was something new to me but it's was delicious.The bao was so soft and well steamed Lamb MoMo's - These are always the best , perfectly steams and the stuffing was really having the good base because of the soft coating Sooo this was all served with various DIPS -: Lemon Chilly Dip -: Roasted Tomato and Sesame Dip -: Ginger Soy -: Spring Onion Dip So the desert time is come ❤️ Khao Niew Mamuang : Sticky Rice mixed well with the coconut milk and presented with a fresh mango pieces Lemon Grass Pannacotta, Citrus Jelly ,Warm Pound Cake : The pannacotta was too good and amazing The pound was literally very nice but it had spiceness more. So guys dont wait more just head for the DIMSUM lunch This one must be the mandate try for all ✌️

Best pan asian restaurant. We went for Sunday brunch. The Sunday brunch can be perceived as light fare when you look at the buffet spread but its not. Buffet spread will include soup, salad , sushi, grill, dim sum, bruschetta bar and few main course dishes with vegetarian and seafood variety. All dishes are too good and tasty. They also offer unlimited non alcoholic beverages and mocktails The service is good and the staff is very friendly. Needless to say the ambience is good. You can request outside seating as you will be facing the waterfall Well, after such a wonderful food, you can go for dessert. At least Sunday brunch desserts do not match up with the high standards set by the meal. Happy eating
