Restaurant offered a delightful dining experience. The ambience was calming, with a touch of rustic charm. Dahi vada was a burst of flavors – soft lentil dumplings in yogurt with zesty chutneys it was my favourite must try. Darshan snack dish combines with vegetable club sandwich which was a medley of fresh veggies, crisp and satisfying also comes with a cutlet, a patty and French fries. Chole bhature showcased authentic spices, a hearty delight. The sizzler was a sizzling sensation – a symphony of grilled veggies and savory sauces. The dessert we tried was Good Night is a total knockout and it’s loaded with richness of flavours of badam, anjeer and comes with kesar pista ice cream. Overall, the restaurant excelled in taste, presentation, and ambiance, making it a haven for vegetarians enthusiasts.

Darshan is a great place for a quick catch up with your friends! Although it usually has waiting ques due to its popularity , you will manage to get a place for dining in 10-15 mins. I personally loved their sizzler and the service was so so quick! They served the food within 20 minutes. Staff is very polite.

Excellent place, fresh food. Tomato soup was good. Baked mushrooms were delicious. Hummus with pita was nice too. Cheese parsley pasta was nice.

Excellent place to dine. It’s crowded so you make get the place to dine in after little waiting but once the order is place within no time the order is brought to your table. We tried a few dishes and they were excellent. Will definitely recommend Darshan Restaurant 👍

Visited Darshan after my dad went there with his friends and said a lot of positive things. It's a very good restaurant that serves tasty food at affordable prices. Hygiene is top notch and even the people who serve the food are very prompt. Overall a very positive experience, will be visiting Darshan often now.

The food is delicious. Chole bhature is great but a bit expensive Spring roll was also good,so was the sizzler (but it doesn't have gravy at all so it's very dry)

Darshan Restaurant on Prabhat Road is an iconic eating place that actually has made vegetarian food cool and popular. It's stood the test of time and serves quality veg food at reasonable rates. We ordered the Darshan Snack Dish, a veritable mix of tasty sandwiches, cutlets etc. Next on the list, the Classic Sizzler was very wholesome, a complete treat to the taste buds. Baked Beans on Toast was sure a surprise in the unique way it was served. Chole Bhature were delicious and filling, full value for money. Rounded off the meal with Good Night Dessert, a very tasty ice cream and milk combination that was a worthwhile end to the session. A place to visit for good food, neat ambience, expansive seating area downstairs and up and timely service too.

A good place to hangout for snacks with friends and family. Food was decent. Sizzlers and Nachos were good. Cheesy pasta not so much. It just tasted like cheese, no flavour. I would have given 5 stars for service but waiters ask you/force you to write a Zomato review in front of them which is annoying.

Darshan is fun! Iv been the older gen who used to come here years back. But its really elevated well now. They compliment kids with balloon or small activity books so we can eat at peace 😁 The kitchen looks clean and sorted The food… well not much insights here, chhole bature, cutlets are a legacy here. But the latest mango with cream is a welcome touch. Love this place!

After a lot more of thoughts coming in our mind we finally decided to go to Darshan for having Pure Vegetarian Options as it's Navratri.. They have limited options but still are in no of varieties.. We firstly started with Cheese Nachos and Cheese balls which as usual were just amazing in taste.. Then we decided to move to eat Pasta which wasn't white or red but mixed sauce flavour and wasn't that great. But was okay! Then we went to Darshan snack platter which included club sandwich french fries and veg cutlets and was yummazing! Later we also order classic sizzler which was just very amazing in taste and could have that smell alluring around of having sizzlers 🤤 We also tried Cheese chill toast which will never fail in any means anywhere and then it came to our very own Indian flavour Chole Bhature ( Were oily but that is how it is ) 😅 The service is very fast very good and polite staff. Good amount of space and hygienic in all manners Should try when on Garware schoool street! ✔️✔️

The restaurant offers a good ambience where you will feel enlightened after entering the premises. The fragrance of the place , the lights especially at night is the cherry over the cake. Talking about the service , the staff are very cooperative and serves their customers . The quality of food is something which will always pull me towards the place as compared to other restaurants in the area. You will have a good time eating and relaxing simultaneously. The price is a little high but that easily encompasses over the quality which is offered here. Must visit.

Ever since I came to Pune , the name of Darshan had been reverberating in my ears as it has been touted as one of the legendary places to dine by the people of this city.<br/>But, unfortunately, I had a rather disappointing experience in terms of the taste of the food being served there.<br/><br/>#Ambience<br/><br/>The ambience is quite basic and decent. As we enter, we get to see the counter on the left. Then there are good amount of tables around to be seated. The section on the right has better look and feel to it. There is a section upstairs as well. The furniture is regular, nothing fancy about it. One thing which I didn't like is that the washroom is just next to the kitchen.<br/><br/>#Service<br/><br/>The place attracts huge crowds on all days. My visit was not different at all. There was a queue and we had to add to it by getting our name written down by the uncle who was taking care of the seating of the customers. Our name was called in about 45 mins. Once seated, the service was quick and the staff was well groomed, well informed and all our requests were taken care of.<br/><br/>#Food<br/><br/>Tomato Soup- The quintessential tomato based soup, flavoured with celery and topped with cream. It had bread crumbs in it as well.<br/>But, it was rather thin for my liking. Also, the tanginess was off balance as the soup was quite sweet than it should have been.<br/><br/>Manchow Soup- Hot and sour vegetable soup, topped with crispy noodles. It was decent in taste, but again could be thicker and more flavourful.<br/><br/>Paneer Chilly-Combination of cottage cheese, bell peppers and spring onion tossed in a spicy szechuan sauce and served on a hot plate. The presentation was similar to that of a sizzler.It was nice, but could have been more spicy and savoury.<br/><br/>Sizzler Exotica- A sizzling platter of exotic vegetables (including broccoli,zucchini etc), cottage cheese in a mildly spiced sauce, served with spaghetti. It also had fries and cheese balls. The cheese balls were insanely delicious. But that was the only thing to cheer about the sizzler as remaining stuff was pretty ordinary.<br/>The spaghetti was way too oily as it was difficult to hold on. It was reminding me of the sloppy noodles we get at Indian Weddings. The fries were dismal and the paneer was just okay.<br/><br/>Vegetable Au Gratin- Diced vegetables baked in a bechamel sauce with cheese.<br/>Hands down the worst Veg Au Gratin I must have ever had in my life. The vegetables were not done properly at all. The bechamel sauce went horribly wrong as it had become a sticky paste due to over use of flour. The dish had an unusual unpleasant taste and a heavy feel to it. The cheese even could not do any damage control. The garlic bread was ordinary.<br/><br/>Chana Bhatura - Chickpeas cooked in a brown gravy, garnished with coconut and coriander served along with a golden fried bhatura.<br/>The bhatura was done well, but the chana gravy could have been much better to justify the hype it has garnered over the years. Honestly speaking, I have had much better stuff at humble places nearby my house and at a much cheaper price. The gravy what I had here lacked flavour and punch to go along with the Bhatura.<br/><br/>Vegetable Szechuan Noodles- Vegetables and Noodles tossed in a piquant sauce.It was a good preparation. The noodles were less oily and had ample amount of vegetables to keep us interested.<br/><br/>Mango and Strawberry Ice Cream- I think, we had unknowingly saved the best for the last. Given the experience we had so far, I wan not expecting too much. But to our good fortunes, the ice creams turned out to be delectable and praiseworthy. The sweetness was balanced and the quality was top notch.<br/><br/>Overall, I felt that as per the portion size, all the dishes were on the expensive side.

We ordered dahiwada(for a change it had whipped curd :) ), mexican burger(with tangy green chutney, i hope they add jalapeños as well in the recipe), masala baked beans on toast(tangy and cheesy) and Traffic jam(you need to visit Darshan to experience it, not giving any spoilers). Everything was too yumm. First floor seating is a little crampy, but the good food and fast service compensates for it. Our server Shiv Bachan made the experience even better.

Darshan is a legendary hotel and very well known in deccan area.went to darshan yesterday after hearing about it from my friend.ordered traffic jam it is a combination of 3 icecreams with loads of fruit salad.it is only thing that punekar love to have it daily but also ordered Channa bhatura it was okay but didn't taste like chola that we had in north India.but overall the food is good. service is good and staffs are friendly
