Budhani has always been one of our favourite snacks centre!!
This lockdown they were delivering all these essentials society to society and this was a really good and helpful move by them.
We ordered for these snacks and except the 'wheels' snack we loved each and ever snack!!
You get all the snacks you can carry to school /college or picnics or just to munch one while watching movies. Love the cheese wafers here. They are my favorite
Budhani wafers have come a long way since 1995. Today they are the largest manufacturers of potato wafers in India. They started with wafers and now they have an eclectic range of products. Different types of wafers, chiwdas, namkeen, laddoos, candies, jellies, etc. They also keep samosa n khandvi. Shopping is so difficult here as one is spoilt for choice here. They have also started keeping healthy stuff like soya and nachni chips. Whenever i am in mg road i make sure to come here. Though there are a lot of branches in mg road itself, the original one is the last shop in the galli just touching the temple. This time i picked up cheese wafers, dink laddoo, roasted chana, peanut chikki and soya chips. The quality is unquestionable here. Next time you are in mg road, do visit this place. Budhani has been a legendary name in Potato wafers and Potato Chiwada industry in Pune. I have tried all sorts of potato wafers (Branded, Non-Branded both), but this place wins hands-down with the super-crispy potato chips. With decent rates (wayyy less than other chips), the taste has been consistent throughout the last 30+ years (since I remember eating Budhani wafers for the first time), and it still lures me even today. Very rarely has it happened that I haven't purchased a pack of chips after passing by the shop. They also serve very tasty Chiwda, dry-fruits, Samosas, and other types of chips.

Me and a friend were passing by and we saw budhani waferwala outlet. They serve many types of namkeen and snacks. Price is not too expensive so you can buy different snacks of your choice.
A must visit when in Camp area. Just love their dry fruit chiwda.
The wafers are not oily, and also salt is moderate. That is what differentiates them from their competitors. The masala wafers are to die for!!
I was recently told about this outlet which has been around for decades, hence decided to check it out. They have several outlets in the same area where wafers quality and taste remains the same. Shops are on the main road so easy to spot.
We purchased their traditional potato chips along with some other sabudana and aloo papdi. Taste and pricing was amazing. Worth a try if you are in the area.
Best part is the variety of snacks that they stock. You get confused about what to buy and what to leave. ππ»
This place is historic, the wafers and the chiwda you get here are essential and something you always keep in your house. Have been going and buying stuff from here since I was small and absolutely love the chiwda here. Used to have these mini Mirchi pieces , but they're gone now and some people still miss them

Salli chivda(Potato dry fruits chivda) and pani puri packs are worth trying.
Rest nothing so extravagant out here .but as you say Old is gold. You wouldn't step out disappointed from this place for sure.

I had recently been to Pune and it was my maiden trip here. My friend who knows how big a foodie I am, made sure she took me to all the legendary places in Pune. When you mention legendary places you can not miss Budhani waferwala. They have been here since years serving Pune the best wafers, chivda and other farsan. They have a wide variety of wafers.
They have a variety of potato chips to choose from. I got home the cheese version of potato wafers and I loved it. Perfectly crisp a d crunchy wafers with a good dose of cheese powder. Perfect for a cheese and potato lover.

My friend researched about all legendary places in Pune, and this is how I came to know about this place.
Wafer lovers should not miss this place out. I took the masala one and trust me I have never tried something so delicious and crunchy. It's a must must visit place. I think it's going to be my go-to place whenever I go to Pune.

Anyone who has stayed in camp will know budhani waferwala.its a landmark here in camp. I have been having their wafer as long as i can remember. I remember when I was in Indonesia as a kid I used to carry their wafer with me there and people have loved the tatest of wafers there also.

An institution in Pune which has held it's mettle for more than 7 decades now. My personal favourites are the cheese and the banana ones. I also like how they have scaled up to more products in their very own "supermarket". Please visit at least once.
You could can smell the wafers from distance away and that just makes you hungry everytime. Its a brilliant place for Fingerfoods.

I really liked the legendary Potato Wafers(must buy), Masala Peanuts and their Dhoklas.
The place is a supermarket with lots and lots of chips and other fried wafers. Loved this place. Potato chips of different flavours and different sizes. The chips taste very fresh. The masala chips taste even better.
A takeaway shop on main street for wafers, data and and a variety of sweets. The chips are plain salted and crisp as ever. Get your favourite dry fruits with a dash of herbed spices. The ready made pani puri mix is a must buy if you wanna make pani puris at home.

The first full fledged Budhani Wafers outlet was opened in 1972. Initially it was all manual process of peeling potatoes,slicing,frying & packaging. But now they have developed their own machinery to do all these tasks. Excellent quality & service & competitive pricing has brought them to No.1 position today. They not only sell the products at their store but also at many other sweet outlets.
My personal favorite wafers are salted wafers,cheese wafers and tomato wafers. And i also love cheese balls.

I was new in pune and when planned to visit my family in vacations they asked me to bring something special pune made which we don't get generally everywhere so asked friends and then someone told me about this place, I went their and get packed 2-3 kg dry fruit mixture !now comes the real joy when i reached home all members of my family(family means extended family or you can say joint family ) liked it very much and said something like this THODA AUR HAI YA KHATAM HO GYA(Can I get some more or it is finished?)!This was my first time i was getting something for my family and Bhudhani brothers made is remarkable experience for me !All credit goes to them for making such a unic mixture!

Budhani's for the Puneites is a land mark in it self for this city. I have been eating their wafers since i can remember. Though they have started many flavors my favorite remains the salted potato. It is definitely better then the MNC based companies manufacturing chips. I also like their cashews.

Whenever I go to MG Road, a trip to one of their three locations is a must. The potato wafers come in different flavours but the plain ones are perfect for me. I always buy more than one packet because it finishes so fast. They taste greeseless and are far superior than any of the brand name potato chips in the market. Now where are my wafers? The Potato Wafers and Batata Chivda needs no recommendations, they are outstanding.
The Pedha and Pista Burfi is also very good considering that good Pedha and Burfi is hard to come by these days.

Lovely wafers I have been eating this since a long time. Never have I seen their quality go down a bit. Kudos to you guys keep it up. Also the shop decor has been maintained same since so many years :)
Birthdays parties were incomplete without budhani wafers ! But now the quality has gone down a lot ! There are more burnt chips than the normal ones in the packet and half of the packet needs to be thrown then. Otherwise, the taste is really good and very affordable. This place is always crowded. So if you have patience to stand there, go ahead. Otherwise you will get those chips in any supermarket stores near you.
The potato wafers are really the best. The favourite chewada is iconic. The old goodness is not as good as it was. I think they need to do a little more than merely surviving on their good reputation.

This is the iconic place for the famed Budhani Wafers. Reaching here is easy. It is on the main MG Road and there are two shops in the same lane. Parking could be an issue depending on the time of the day you decide to visit.
This place is a big one on the MG Road (a couple of shops past its older smaller shop) where it serves more like a retail outlet than an eatery. It has scores of eatables in a supermarket fashion and sells stuff from other vendors too like Mapro. There is a huge assortment of chips and other baked stuff. We got a pack of classic Budhani Wafers which finished that day itself.
Billing is easy and convenient and the entire experience seamless. Not exactly an eatery so wouldn't rate it on a similar scale.

This place has a legacy of serving delicious varieties of wafers for decades now. There were quite a few varieties like tomato, cheese, onion & cream, etc. Since it was the first time we visited this place we wanted to try the standard wafers first. They were really good - not oily and just the right amount of salt. Loved it. Will visit again to try other varieties.
I had visited the place as its in the centre of the market and one can easily locate this place. I took from here samosa which was v crispy indeed. Then chips, besan ke ladoo and son papdi . The besan ke ladoo was v tempting indeed . The price of this place is v reasonable indeed.

Whenever I used to pass this place in morning towards office the fragrance of waffers is just so unbeatable. Although having Budhani waffers since childhood, nothing has really changed, the taste is the same. Once the package is opened, gets over in no time. Now they have expanded to more shops and offer many more types of Namkeen, Farsan, Dry fruits etc.
But the taste and quality is as great as always!!

No change of taste n hygienic. It was as it crunchy potato wafers as i used to ate from last 20 yrs... try wafers from there on packed white polithine bag that was too much crunchy n fresh then other regular bags
Reviewing their Chips all the way in Delhi- Got them at Modern Bazaar in Delhi and was surely in for a surprise. MUCH BETTER THAN LAYS OR PRINGLES. The Chips were so crisp and crunchy with just a little bit of Salt. The less quantity of salt added is much appreciated since other brands add so much of it. As soon as I opened the pack, I realised these chips were surely worth their price. Honestly, would only buy these from now on.
The best potato wafers in town! This is the oldest of all the shops named under the Budhani brand. Apart from the regular salted wafers their Masala and cheese flavours are also delicious! Dry fruit mixture is also worth trying. Closed on Sundays. Highly recommended!
