Review Trikaya - Pune

Its great place for a quite evening with friends and family. We had a wonderful candle light dinner. Ambience is very good. Food quality is average. We ordered Mei Goreng noodles. Service is good but we can say it was a little bit slow. All in all it's a good place. I will recommend it.

Great quality and variety of food tastes great whatever you order. South East Asian or Indian, they have all what you need to make your experience better. Serves alcohol. They also have party space. Indoor and outdoor seating. One of the best restaurants in Bavdhan. A bit pricey but worth it to go along with your family. Courteous staff and fast service.

If you wanna enjoy Authentic Thai cuisine with ambiance this is the place. Really nice food and very courteous staff. You would definitely love the ambiance of the place. North inda food is good too. Try their Burmses Khow Suey. Entire bar menu is also available. Its a dine in kinda place with open air seating and indoor bar and restaurant too. Enjoy your visit.

Nice place I liked it very much. It's very good choice for family dinner and office parties. Very nice restaurant and bar in bavdhan than other places. Ambience is also very comfortable. Only the chairs outside in the roof top not comfortable. Monday is dry day you won't get drinks on that day. You can get veg , non-veg, sea food and Chinese. In drinks you get cocktails and mocktails. Cost is bit on higher side as compared to food quality and quantity.

Very good place for short party and get together for office dinners. I like the place and outside setting with lovely view. Good for couple for romantic dinner. Indian food was average. I suggest go for continental. Service and attention was really good and you will definite appreciate. I will upload few pic for whom wants romantic dinner place.

Good Asian food. The ambience and rooftop service is exceptional. Bit of a low lighting system. Could hardly see your food or for that matter, the person infront of you at night. Couldn't even take snaps of the food they served. If they could increase the visibility it would be great. Other than that you will enjoy the food , very delicious and unique in its taste.

This place has a very good ambience. Located at a prime location on main road in bavdhan, attracts many whi love calm and non cluterred atmosphere. The food is ok, not great but few chinese items are good taste wise. It was previously on Zomato but now its not. All in all a decent place

Very good ambience, especially the outside terrace seating. Close to authentic Oriental cuisine. Their Seafood Laksa is mouth watering. The veg starters were also great. They say there is a valet but I was unable to see anyone so had parked by the roadside. Service was about right, not too quick not too slow. The only con is that it's slightly overpriced comparatively but not too exorbitant. Overall a 4/5 for Trikaya.

It's a nicely designed roof top hotel, with good ambience. I found it, a bit mild for Indian taste, but if someone is looking for such taste it's good. Sometimes the service is prompt and good, sometimes they just ignore you. They have valley parking. As it is a roof top restaurant, they just can't control the ambience of the rest of the building. So be prepared for it.

The service was not quick enough & the food taste was not upto the prices listed we wer offered a very low dim lighted area which excluded the entire ambience for which they charge customers plus the mosquitos were in such huge numbers they made the place more disasterous i recommend wood fire grill to this certainly more beauty more quick services more refreshment certainly…

The place is exotic and the food is just fabulous. Ambience of the restaurant and the service is wonderful. The staff is very courtieous and attentive. I have never tasted such wonderful south Asian food anywhere. Must visit.

Visited Trikaya a week back with 2 of my girl friends. <br/>Currently the outer seating is under renovation but the indoor seating is available. It was a nice, quite dinner nite as the restaurant was not much crowded. <br/>No complain about service and ambience.<br/><br/>We had the following things : <br/>1) Lemon and Peach Ice Tea, Virgin Pinacolada- All the drinks were good in taste and big in size. Enjoyed them throughout the meal.<br/><br/>2) Thai Spring Rolls with Glass Noodles - Loved the spring rolls and the honey chilli sauce that came with it. There were 10 pieces but they were disappeared pretty quickly😜<br/><br/>3) Crunchy Veggies Pan Grilled with Teriyaki Sauce - As the name suggests, It was assorted grilled vegetables tossed in Teriyaki Sauce. It was decent, maybe teriyaki sauce doesn’t suit my palate.<br/><br/>4) Paneer Tawa Masala - It was our normal paneer cubes in red gravy with onion and capsicum. The taste was nice and the paneer cubes were extremely soft. <br/><br/>5) Butter Roti, Jeera Rice - Both well prepared and nice in taste. <br/><br/>The choice of desserts was very limited and very common like gulab jamun, jalebi, kulfi. <br/>We decided to skip desserts.

Went to Trikaya on pre-diwali nite. Ordered a mix of asian and Indian food - and liked the taste alongwith it has ample quantity for 2.<br/><br/>Resto has parking space in the building it is situated, on that day it was half full so didn't took time for getting a seat, nice ambience and fast service with courteous waiters.<br/><br/>We ordered cottage cheese chilli pepper in starter and it was wonderful, soft paneer with different taste, and ample pieces for 2. Ordered Manchow soup it was good too alongwith it. In mains we ordered mili juli tawa sabzi which is basically mix veg and dal makhni with 4 butter rotis. Both the items were good and rotis were soft too. Liked the food.<br/>Above order comes around Rs.1500. Will definitely try it again. Recommended.<br/><br/>Ruchir.

There was a time when one couldn't get a table here. Now the taste has gone south while prices have climbed. The quantity and taste do not justify the prices. We went on a Diwali night, which was a slow night in terms of patrons and also service. Understandable, because obviously, it's Diwali. Not understandable or acceptable is the attitude of the servers, who seemed disinterested

Only thing remained good about trikaya is good ambience. The quality of food is not as great as once it was. They need improve the food quality. Not recommended for food.

Most of the items ordered were not available. The pad Thai noodles were not up to the mark. This used to be my regular favourite and it has disappointed me sorely in this visit. Got my friends for a treat after praising this place, much to my embarrassment. Please get back what you lost.

This is one of the shity resturant I have ever been to and I have been to almost all the resturant in pune. Chicken sesame was normal crispy chicken with very little chicken in it mostly covered with basin, chicken chilly was crispy, I mean it has to be soft coz it chinese chilly chicken it can't be crispy in any way. Some dishes were not available so we left within 30 mins. Avoid avoid. This is rated in top 10 resturant in pune, ad place in bavdhan is 500% better than this resturant

The best thing here is Ambience. Quantity of food is quite less with respect to the price but the quality of food makes it worth! Service is also good.

First time I was visited this restaurant with my family in last week we ordered some mocktails soup main course it was fantastic experience all the dishes are suggested by the captain hemant he was very polite and prompt definitely will visit again with the group of friends some random click of photos must visit this place.

I visited the place last night with few friends. The vegetarian food was not good at all. Ambience was okay-ish. Staff was okay too. Would no go there again.

Had gone with extended family. Had Thai green curry and burnt garlic rice, both were just awesome. Though a little on the expensive side, one of the best in Bavdhan.

Resturant is located in a very poorly maintained building, the ambience was as dark that I barely recognised my food by looking at it, food quality for Non-Veg dishes was fairly good but veg is not so happening, overall food was decent may be over prised but if you visit them dine indoor not in open and may not go with guest given building situation.

I have been here for office team lunch once. The dishes we ordered were mostly non veg. The dishes I liked were prawns koliwada, butter garlic prawns, chicken kebabs, and also honey chilli fries. Honey noodles with vanilla ice cream was my favourite among the desserts.<br/>The ambience is perfect for candle light dinners. The roof top sitting gives a very good view.<br/>

Very worst place and worst service. If you are zomato Gold member be careful. 2times ask them about it. In my case it happened. I told them m having zomato gold before order but when I paid a bill they refused and told me you didn't say it before so couldn't give u gold advantage. Even manager also was very rude and denied his mistake... So don't visit such a place.

Trikaya <br/>This place is located in bavdhan. Went there with my family for birthday celebration. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Interior was very good. Food was also very tasty but only the cocktail was not up to the mark. Staff was polite. Parking was available there.

Trikaya used to be a great experience around a couple of years back. Had been here for my parent's anniversary celebration recently. Food was decent. But the overall experience was unpleasant to say the least. Although it was an odd day and no rush, the table choice, the treatment, and the time taken to bring the order was pathetic. Please teach your captains/senior staff to smile at the very least. The junior waiters are comparatively more courteous and friendly.

Went to this for a dinner thought i would be rush place as it was sat evening but at 9 on sat it was not even half filled even the rooftop was vacant we got a seat which can accommodate two the infra looked old and need renovation the loop top ligths are very dim and when i asked the waiter the to lit some candles so that i can see what food i am eating he answered “ baki log b to aise hi baithe hai” pathetic customer exp no manner do not know how to deal with customer he was the only taking the order for entire roof top when i asked him to repeat what he said he tried to manipulate will never recommend this to any one as they do not have basic training as to how to deal with a customer pathetic experience

Had lunch and it was an average experience for me.<br/>Ambience is pretty good but the food was not at all finger licking. Ordered Methi mattar and Panner mushroom, both were not tasty at all.<br/>Service provided was good though.

My all time favorite restaurant in Bavdhan area. The food taste is great and the same since a long time. The service is good. The ambiance is awesome, specially if you take the outdoor seating. They have kept the smoking area separate which i liked due to family crowd.<br/>Overall everything about this place is too good and i love to keep going to this place.

If you are able to secure open space then you can enjoy trikaya aura the interior makes you calm and relax. The Food prices and quality is worth appreciation however some starters need to improve like tandoor mushroom etc. It's not deep inside bavdhan like other restaurants just situated on bavdhan highway.<br/>However I can just conclude by telling you that its a calm and romantic place party animals have nothing to do here.

The service was good but the main course was not perfectly cooked. Starters were amazing. Ambiance could be made more happening if some sort of music is added also the main course part require improvement as the chicken served was half cooked n gravy was also not very tasty rest the dish was tried to be supplemented nicely by the chef when asked for replacement but when u vist a dinner expectations shall not be declined by merely dissatisfaction with the main course at the first go

Visited this old facourite of ours for a lazy wednesday lunch. We were greeted very well and felt good to visit them as usual. Ordered food with suggestions and all was cheerful. Then the food nightmare started! The first dish was a roasted veg plate, very salty and heavily loaded with soy. We thought we ordered something we did not like and proceded. The real problem started with nasi goreng (veg) where the food became unbearably salty dry and did not taste anything like it usually does. As usual we were slapped with a chocclate and icecream which we had to gulp to fill up and leave. <br/>I would request someone who knows the chef there to really talk to him and tell him that people aint gna come back by that free icecream, but with quality food dishes. <br/>Never going back ever

Place is more for North Indian cuisine rather than pan-asian. Decor is very different comparatively. This is a fun place for kids and families.

The ambience of the indoor seating area is superb but we chose a table in the open rooftop seating area and thus did not have a very good experience. I understand that the lights must have been kept low deliberately but there wasn’t enough light to even read the menu properly!<br/>The service was fine and the food was okay!

Chanced upon Trikaya thanks to the Gold offer and must say it more than lived up to the expectation! I love the fact that they’ve tried to mix it up with the Indian menu and the tomato soup (saar) with a hit of garam masala was a stroke of genius. Quite a variety of starters. Butter chicken was on the sweet side but thankfully not so much to confuse it with dessert 😉. Lacchha parathas were just perfect! Good food = good times!

The roof-top ambience is really cool. We were a group of ~10 visiting on a weekday evening. Still, the service was somewhat slow and felt rather impersonal. May be due to the larger group. The food was good, but nothing in particular to write home about. Considering the hefty price-tag, I felt it was not worth it.

Was visiting Pune and googled to find a place with ambience. Google threw up this place. While we loved the ambience, the food was quite ok. Ordered a lamb dish where lamb was quite raw and chewy. Mee Goreng was nice. We had ordered dessert and they completely forgot about it.

We had a good dinner at Trikaya. We went for mushroom- spinach Dimsum and Spicy Thai Chicken for starters. Both were good, especially the chicken; Thai flavors were great in chicken.<br/> For main course we had Phad Thai; it was a bit disappointing. Phad Thai was had flat ribbon noodles which is authentic otherwise the flavor was not good and authentic. <br/> Overall I would say a good place for dinner ; a bit overpriced and I did not understand why?<br/>

Expensive but worth it for special ocassions. Especially their terrace offers a great view and with piping hot food, there cannot be a more romantic place to hangout with that special someone of even friends.

Trikayaa rooftop seating is quite chill in the evenings. The outdoor seating with orange lights candles makes it look beautiful. The food qality and taste are quite up to the mark. The veg cheese kebabs and the tandoori chicken kebabs are mouth melting. The veg biryani is also a good option on the menu. The service is great. A perfect place to go for dinners

Horrible experience. Cutlery was either broken or chipped. We were given bad recommendations of food which turned out to be extremely bland and tasteless. There was an eggy taste in almost all of the food. Mushrooms in the food had gone bad.

It's a fine dine place except the word fine here means penalty. There is nothing to suggest when you get 5 cold servings. This place lacks motivation. I politely told the person in-charge of terrace section "boss add some passion". He gave a feedback form. I wrote I am not coming back again. Kitchen sent vanilla scoop and terrace incharge said "sir it's complimentary". Then manager came and said I am the manager I saw your review. I said it was cold food. All dishes are 500 and above and you can't even give a hot dish? Then he said sir I checked with kitchen they said it was fine (is this how you take feedback??)...but he didn't check why on earth they sent me ice cream. I jokingly said even the complimentary dish was cold...he missed the pun but it's ok. I replied I can't give you feedback you don't even know how to take feedback. Have some passion and serve your food with love. Yes the food was fine as in penalty. Will never go to this place again<br/><br/>This place seriously lacks motivation and good food. Don't go there thinking it's pricey means it's good. Avoid this place .

This place never fails to mesmerize me. I visit this place only once every year but has not changed even a bit in past 5 years.<br/>They've a gigantic space and have made the best of it. ambience is calm and lovely. Comfy seating arrangements and Candle light make it more romantic. They serve Chinese as well as north indian food. But I would recommend to taste their authentic Chinese.<br/>Wonton soup, Korean chicken starter're too delicious.<br/>Staff is very polite.<br/>It might be heavier on pockets but a must visit place in pune.

WHAT A FIND! Thanks to my colleague who took me here on the Friday. Excellent atmosphere, lovely ambiance .Outdoor grill provided an excellent set of snacks and dishes. The meat platter (minus seafood) was to die for.... grilled racks of lamb, chicken kebabs and skewered tandoori chicken were amazing. Sampled the chicken nachos purely for research and they were pretty good too. Gone are the glory days. <br/><br/>Once upon a time Trikaya was one of our favourite restaurants in Pune<br/><br/>But our yesterday’s visit was disappointing to say the least. <br/><br/>The service was good, very polite calm and relaxed. The ambiance as always was wonderful we sat on the outside deck. <br/><br/>But surprisingly the food taste and quality both were very disappointing. <br/><br/>We had ordered veg manchow and Tom kha soup, masala papad, fried mushrooms, veg chilli garlic, veg muzzafari, roti, veg biryani. <br/><br/>The monchow soup was very sour, Tom kha was good but had too many chillies. <br/><br/>The sauce of veg chilli garlic was way off balance and again a bit sour for our liking, fried mushrooms were good but the smelled of oil, they had a very pungent smell, hence the quality of it came into question. <br/><br/>Veg muzzafari was good, I can recommend this dish. Rotis were served very cold and were a bit spongy instead of a being a bit crispy on the edges. <br/><br/>Veg Biriyani was also good, flavour some and not spicy. If it would have been only for the veg muzzafari and veg biryani I would have rated it 4. <br/><br/>Masala papad were very spicy and had no other flavour in them. <br/><br/>The service was warm and good. But the cutlery seemed to be very old with the dishes beginning to blacken near the edges, etc. <br/><br/>Overall for the price range and the great ambiance that it offers the food left a lot to be desired. Chance of going back are quiet slim. <br/><br/>And they have discounted their legendary “Aloo ke Gutke” wow that was a blow, there were times when we went to Trikaya just to eat that and a soup!!! Also, the methi mutter dish was not there on the menu :(

Finest ambiance in Bavdhan area specially for Buddha theme. Slightly on the expensive side but worth it. Cocktails are crafted with care for taste. Recommended.

I was looking for a fine dining restaurant with my family and this place warranted a long due visit. It totally lived upto expectations and beyond! <br/><br/>We started off with Smoked Red Chilli Chicken which was very tender and decently spicy. Accompanied with some mushrooms and capsicum, it was a perfect first dish. <br/><br/>Next we had Basa Fish in Five Willow Sauce and it was the softest, well done fish I ever had in my life. It literally melted in my mouth and left a other-worldly after-taste. <br/><br/>For the main course, we had Vegetable Biryani and a Vegetable & Chilli Garlic Noodles. The kesar aroma of the Biryani was heavenly! We expected the noodles to be dry but that was not the case and we enjoyed it as well as the Biryani. <br/><br/>Overall, this place warrants another visit to try their variety of Sea Food and Lamb & Pork. Would definitely recommend this to my friends!

The ambience, the food, the service... Everything was good... I tried only veg items from the menu and all were good... Must habe the veg platter in starter for vegetarians if you are looking for a good quantity priced accurately :)

One of the best places to go for authentic Indian food! I love the flavors at Trikaya  and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Being Indian, I like the fact that the food is absolutely authentic and healthy (not submerged in loads and loads of oil like other places). You won't be disappointed, your stomach will be happy and your wallet won't be completely empty. Now this is my favorite indian restaurant .Trikaya's food is definitely the most enjoyable and flavorable. Try the the Trikaya special Butter Chicken, Cocktails, Mocktails, Vegetable Biryani, Pork Ribs, Drunken Pork, Sweet Corn Soup . You will want to keep coming back for more. It also looks like they did a little remodeling. Looks very nice. We've tried most of the restaurants but eventually come up with this as I found Great service. Wide selection of...You cannot find a better...This place is the best. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone visiting or staying in Pune.

I was there along with my friends for party. Ambiance was good (4/5). But food was average, we ordered Masala Papad , Man. Soup , Spring Roll, cheese cotton chilly, Paneer tikka masala and Diwani Handi for food it was like (3/5) . Service also good. Hotel is too much spacious and place is not that much crowded . If you want to spend some time along with food them it's good place. I suggest you to go with your lady love it family. If you are going only for food them don't visit.

A very impressive view of the surroundings. A nice ambience. And polite staff to serve you and help you. The food served is also good. You get a lot of variety of cuisines served. It is tasty, well presented and also well served. The only con about this place is a bit on the expensive side, otherwise a place must visit in Bavdhan.

This place is literally a blast from the past. The first time I visited this place was back in 2009-ish and with all its grandeur was a very pleasing experience, ambience and food wise which shouted of ethnic pan Asian. <br/><br/>However when i visited it last week the place just feels like a relic. The approach to the restaurant is dull and dead. The restaurant still has an impressive ambience with sufficient lighting and a good balance between wood/greenery and sculptures. <br/><br/>The menu had no excitement. The menu is pretty similar to what it was back in the day, but was still delivered very well. <br/>We tried the <br/>1. Prawn Har Gao Dumpling. <br/>Slightly overcooked chewy prawns minced with traditional pan asian herbs and vegetables. These were okay with the dumpling shell falling apart while they served us. <br/>2. Chicken Sui Mai.<br/>With a very well balanced flavor these subtle dumplings were a delightful. Though most of the wrappings were torn the mince and the filling made it worth while. <br/>However they provided no accompaniments or dips and it is just a suggestion and might have elevated the experience.<br/><br/>3. Char grilled flat noodles.<br/>well cooked, light noodles tossed in vegetables, chicken and egg. Slightly on the sweeter side but overall a very good experience. <br/><br/>All in all a good place stuck in a 2009 limbo. A bit on the pricey side compared to other fine dine restaurants and what they offer.

Fried chicken with fries & flat noodles is a must. My absolute favourite dish from trikaya. Interior can definitely be improved. The outside dinning place is pretty but the indoor area is plain boring.

The first thing which makes this place dull is the entrance.<br/>It's located on the third floor.<br/>Ambience and hospitality is good.<br/>We tried the following<br/>1. Masala papad - First place I visited which serves 4 numbers in 1.<br/>2. Wanton soup - somewhat similar to veg clear soup. Nothing special<br/>3. Baby corn in Mongolian sauce - was very different with tangy sauce.<br/>4. Fried mushroom in oriental herbs - well fried fresh and tangy. Must try<br/>5. Chicken kebab - could have been more marinated and soft. Not the best<br/>6. Went for the dinner,  food was amazing, and we enjoyed perfect wait service from the wait staffs there. Nice ambiance.<br/>Loved their Honey Chilly Lamb and was pleased by the quality of the dish, really well prepared, also liked their Bacon Tomato fried rice. Nice place for fine-dining.

Had a pleasant family dinner couple of years ago. Place is beautiful has a quite and peaceful ambience. Have options of out door as well as indoor sitting.<br/><br/>Food is delicious, a little bit on the experience side.

A fine dine experience in bavdhan, which serves amazing food. They have a super calm ambience with superb food. Tried there pad Thai noodles , which I really enjoyed having, amazing blend of flavours. They also serve alcohol,which makes it convenient for people who prefer to drink. <br/>Friendly and helping staff who will suggest you with the right variety of food. <br/>A must visit place , if you are looking for some amazing food and drinks.

We had been to this place on our Anniversary. We had ordered a non veg platter, paneer chilly in starter and manchow soup. It tasted really good however the platter taste was not that good unlike Paneer chilly and soup and it was quite expensive.<br/>Ambience was good and it is spacious. There is a candle light dinner arrangement and roof top as well.

This is a negative review. We had been for family dinner on Sunday 5th August. The taste was ok but the service was really bad. With the starters they gave the dip/ chutney kept in the cutlery drawer, not from the kitchen. Also the onion rings with the main course served were stinking and we could make it out that they were not freshly cut. Lastly the sweet dish we ordered was ‘jalebi’. The ‘rabdi’ that they served as accompaniment was ‘sour’ instead of ‘sweet ‘. When we called the manager they replaced the ‘rabdi’ which tasted quite better.<br/>This place needs to upgrade it’s service a lot.

Beautiful roof top with lot of character.. Comes in one of the must visit roof tops in Pune.. Very polite staff with quality food.. Tried their Chinese cuisines and was served well with taste.. My friends tried non veg and loved it.. Another good place for all types.. Specially for couples and friends.. Give it a try<br/>

I had heard about this place from long so got chance to visit here with few family friends to celebrate friendship day<br/><br/>Ambience is perfect staff is neat and responsive. Starters came speedy and it's real taste of Thai option.<br/><br/>But ordered mains whic is Indian took longer time and not good compare to Thai delicacy.<br/><br/>Prawn biryani was pathetic so better to avoid that<br/>Anyway overall time spend there is awesome and memorable <br/>

Trikaya Bavdhan is my fav for fine dining!!<br/>This time trikaya didn't disappoint.<br/>Nice ambience, Good service, Quality of food is excellent.<br/>Overall it was Good. One time try!!<br/>Check cocktails.<br/>Mojito, sangaria and Bloody Mary.<br/>These all were amazing!!

Ambience - nice<br/>Food - everything including north indian, east Asian food was good. Little disappointed with pineapple fried rice and cineman kulfi. Starters were very good. Honey noodles with ice cream and spring role was amazing. So is dal tadka and Mili Juli tawa sabji.<br/>Service - quick, smiling friendly staff.

One of the best places for Oriental cuisine......ambience is awesome...food is Fab...the staff is very attentive and friendly..mouth watering starters and exotic flavours...an amazing experience....must visit restaurant

Its a really good thai restraunt....ambience is really awesome.....there is a lot variety in the menu...especially the thai food....the deserts are also really good with a choice of continental and indian deserts....it is a bit expensive but overall a good experience.....💯✌️
