Review The French Window Patisserie - Pune

Kriti Jain
I visited this place long ago, a very cute place couldn’t be located easily. The owners have dogs with whom you can play. A bakery with good non-alcoholic drinks option and some yummy desserts. I had order elderflower drink since I like to always experiment with my food and it turned out to be pretty great. Def a place to visit, budget friendly and has really cool vibe. Didn’t try much of their food options but heard pretty good with flavours.

Recently, I had the pleasure of experiencing brunch at "The French Window" in Koregaon Park. The initial challenge of finding the restaurant hidden within an alley beside a well-known establishment was soon overshadowed by the enchanting ambiance that awaited. Once inside, the authenticity of a French setting unfolded, capturing the essence of French charm effortlessly. The outdoor seating, basked in the warm glow of sunlight, transported me to a quaint French cafe. The diverse menu catered superbly to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. From scrumptious stuffed omelettes to impeccably prepared egg Benedicts, the culinary delights surpassed expectations. The croissants were delightfully flaky, and the array of pastries offered a symphony of flavors. The attentive staff and prompt service enhanced the overall dining experience. They were well-versed with the menu, providing recommendations that perfectly complemented individual preferences. "The French Window" unquestionably stands as an exceptional choice for a delightful brunch, promising an authentic French experience and an unforgettable gastronomic journey.

This is a great place to get English breakfast and desserts. We tried their Blueberry Cheesecake and Coconut Mango Panna cotta. Both were good. The ambiance is totally European. You feel like you are in some European country. Prices are reasonable to moderate. Overall a great place to visit.

Lovely place with some great breakfast items and cakes. Went there for multiple occasions to have breakfast ,Tried their egg Benedict and it was up to the mark as per the price. Crossaint is so good here compared to other surroundings nearby places. Their cheesecake is also good ,I tried the rum cheese cake and it had a mouth melting taste. The only disappointment is the coffee part as i didn't feel the smoothness and taste in their beans for cold americano.
Mimi & Boo-Boo
A quiet café adorned in the lush green canopies of Koregaon Park. French Window is a perfect fit for your leisure. Its Parisian decor with antique white garden chairs and delicate pastries will transcend you to the beautiful French Cafés.Their range of Coffee, Cupcakes, Tiramisu and different pastries is a must try when you are at French Window. It's not easily visible because, its located slightly inside from the road. However, you'll love the ambience when you visit.

This is one of the best places in Pune when it comes to Brunches and breakfast. I love coming here whenever I get a chance. - veg and non veg options - parking available - great ambience - delicious food - good crowd - to give you an idea of menu egg items, croissants, sausage, sandwiches, coffee, iced tea etc. items are available.
rohit prabhune
Cosy and comfortable place for a brunch with loved ones or friends. A limited but delicious menu especially for egg lovers, dishes are well prepared. Service is quite slow and servers seem constantly confused as to which table has ordered what items. Expect that they are better trained in the future. But the quality of food and preparations is more than worth a visit The Eggs Benedict with Bacon, stuffed chicken croissant, chicken tartine was quite well prepared, coffee not as great as other cafés but fresh and good enough to go with a brunch

I had heard a lot about this café which is situated in Koregaon Park lane no 5. It is not easily visible because the board is mostly covered by plants and the restaurant is located about 30 metres from the road and not visible from the main road. Thus, I would advise to use a GPS to track it. Importantly, you drive inside the pathway and park your vehicle or leave the car on the road. It is open air restaurant, though the top is covered to stop leaves falling on the floor of the restaurant. However its one of the best feeling of sitting and eating under nature. The food was really good, but the service super fast. The owner is very humble.I also spoke to a few youngsters who are regular and they told me that they come here to work. Surely we had a nice experience and I will surely recommend everybody to visit here if possible

I’ve visited this place multiple times and have experienced good food and ambience throughout. The staff is attentive and friendly and has quite a spread out seating area. There is only outdoor seating available. Parking is available outside the cafe, which is convenient The croissant is amazing and a must try. All the bakery products are fresh. I’d also recommend the hazelnut latte. Although the patisserie products did not stand out to me. I tried the almond rocher pastry but it was not as good as i expected. Seating can be tough to find at peak hours and weekends so reservation may be required.

One of my favourite joints for a lazy breakfast in an outdoor setting. The place opens at 9am and serves fresh breakfast that is yummy. The menu spread is good. Do check out their specials called out on the black board. The service is quick and friendly.

Well if you want to get vibes like you are visiting a cafe in goa right in the heart of KP this is the place for you. Very beautiful ambience especially at night time. Good food, great deserts makes for a perfect combo. Since this is a little bit away from the main road it feels quite and just the music that is playing at the place is your source of sound. They also have adopted a few stray dogs which stay in the cafe only which is a very nice gesture. All in all a good place to enjoy some quite time and tasty cheesecakes.

Absolutely LOVE this place! Their tiramisu cake and pastry are to die for (and I do not say that lightly!) The gentleman at the billing counter has such a warm and welcoming aura! Such a delightful set of staff members as well! The Vietnamese coffee is a MUST TRY! This place is certainly a hidden gem😍 PS their coffee almond cake is INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS!!

Chef's Feast was good. Eggs prepared to perfection. Salami and Sausages, tomotoes and Mushrooms were Delicious Croissant with Chicken and Cheese was also good and flavour full. English Tea and Cappuccino just the way we like it. Will I be back? - yes. Most certainly. To try the omelettes and other preparations which look good too.

Omg what a place I accidentally entered . Last time after being to a friend’s place i wanted quick coffee and we entered this place …But after a year I came back again just to have prefect breakfast. Cheese Croissant is melting ,their eggs , sandwiches and berry banam smoothie is just to perfect . Must try their pancakes.Must try hot chocolate If your diet freak or diabetic or prefers no sugar in any of your food ..then must go here.( Smoothie and Pancakes were absolutely sugar free). Crowd is simple and elegant Staff is absolutely humble and knows what their clients need . We really wanted to tip them but we didn’t have cash but server said very humblest thing ….” Come back and that will be my tip “ Thank you team for amazing breakfast

Delicious place with a Instagramable atmosphere. We had the Eggs Benedict with Bacon, and Spinach, Mushroom, and Garlic Sandwich. All great and their breads are fresh and authentic. The flavours are not exactly French as it’s all spiced up. Overall a fantastic place to eat!

Perfect Sunday brunch place! Usually visit TFW for breakfasts in open air and have never been disappointed with the food/vibe! Would love it if they could do something about the mosquitoes though :')

French window has been my favourite place for desserts and light continental and bakery items. I simply love their tiramisu and irish bailey cheesecake. We also had their chicken fingers as starters.

These eggless oatmeal cookies are the best cookies I've tasted in my life! My dog chutkan and I finished two whole packets in one ten minute sitting! Can you arrange for us both to fall into the batter so that we can die happily? Yum yum yum! <3 <3 <3

I have been meaning to put this review up for a while and kept getting distracted. I loved loved TFWP. It’s such a quaint place. Tastefully done and above all the food is really delicious. We had a few meals here and lovely pastries. Being a fellow pattisiere I was keen on tasting all that was on offer so one day I raided the place and bought a bit of everything. And I must say I was not disappointed. The taste, the flavours and attention to details is amazing. We loved everything we got. It’s amazing to have proper French and fusion patisserie at our door step. With Indian weather it’s not easy to maintain the temperatures that these lovely pastries need, but Babita has very cleverly figured out a way to work with the seasons than fight against it. All her food and desserts have seasonal fruit and veg. The desserts are adapted to the climate, but you still won’t miss a treat if you just crave for some luscious chocolaty delight. I wish Babita all the best and I hope I get to taste a few more new things on my next trip. If you haven’t been to TFWP, you are really missing out on a treat. And oh also the bakery don’t forget to pick up. A nice loaf or some cookies while you are there

This little fancy corner was introduced to me by my friend on New Years Day 2017.I am not a fan of pastries, definitely not(Oops!sorry). But I love green tea and black coffee. So once we step in I was just about to order the black coffee. But when I saw their Tea specials menu written "spiced apple green tea."I changed my mind. Instead of black coffee I ordered for spiced apple green tea.Ever since I am in love with this tea. I can't get enough of it.Anyone who visits this place, please try for this special tea.Specially green tea lovers. And you can thank me latter :)))

Had opportunity to visit this place today for quick salad and soup. Must say this is one of the best places in pune, we visited in recent times. People were warm and food was great. Parking is a challenge .. but that was small thing considering the place, food and the overall ambience. Keep it up folks.

The most yummiest food and dessert in Pune. We love it. Staff are so caring. Dont miss the pork dishes and the spiced apple tea.

My first experience with The French Window Patisserie was when I landed late at night, around closing hours, but they were welcoming and gave me lovely coffee at midnight. They were on my mind since then. I finally went back to the expanded place with lovely outdoor seating. We ordered Roasted Bell Pepper Penne and (pulled pork) Poutine. The flavors were fresh (of the pasta sauce), pork laden on french fries topped with cheese a delight. Guava Chili is an original (am well travelled). Of course, their pastries are the best in the city. Their is much I want to try on their appetizing menu. Robin and the young kid are there to guide you through as well. See you soon.

I ordered cheese croissants, Danish pastries, Mille-feuille and 2 other pastries for my mom's birthday. The food was out of the world and totally exceeded all my (and my mom's) expectations (especially the croissants and millefeuille). 5 stars does not do this place justice, in my view it should be awarded 10 stars. Would love to visit this place again and try out the rest of the menu.

Ordered Fruit cake for my parents anniversary from French Window melt in the mouth cake. My parents who are not very fond of cake asked for second helping. Always loved the place. Thankyou Babita for making our celebrations special.

Everyone I've spoken to about this place has had nothing but excellent things to say. I've heard the food cakes and desserts are just awesome. Personally I haven't visited it myself but I definitely plan to. I'm surprised being a regular customer of malaika spice I've never noticed this place koregaon park

2 visits and both the times I didn't realise when I kept my fork down..for the simple reason that the food doesn't allow you to do anything else other than eat...it's perfect! Be it croissants or omelettes or scrambled eggs or coffee!

As delicate as its name,The cheese cake flan was an exceptionally presented dessert.Taking the regular baked cheesecake to another level. One of the reviews on the flan said that it was nothing extravagant.I feel like I've actually tasted extravagance today.

Ordered twice during the lockdown and both time it was a gateau that we ordered. Chocolate one was excellent and so was the opera gateau. Perfect blend of ingredients and absolutely fresh! Definite visit once the restaurant dining is open.

The Raspberry Vanilla Cheesecake from The French Window Patisserie is delicious. The base is blended with mint leaves that works perfectly with the decadent cheese and the sweet raspberry topping. It's light yet wholesome and is best combined with an Iced latte or an Americano. Its unique blend of flavours and amazing texture make it a must try! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best Blueberry Cheesecake I have ever had.
The Opera Gateau is delicious. If the restaurant could put up pics of the gateau and pastries that would be super helpful.

When the whole world is down due to a pandemic. Sitting at home, thinking it's been 3 months since our little one was born and we never got to celebrate our little bundle of joy. That's when we ordered the Coffee Chocolate Almond Gateau, and boy was that the best celebration in a lockdown. One of the best cakes I have had by far. Totally worth the price and I highly recommend...

Just mind blowing! If you are a dessert lover like me! Never ever make a mistake to give this place a miss! Marvelous is the word to describe their bakery! So pretty place. Wonderful ambience and words simply fail to describe the quality of their bakery products! The Irish cheesecake, the jamaican pastry, the tiramisu, hot chocolate... The list is endless! This place is sheer love! Must go!

Life is too short to say no to Chocolate Pastries.❤️🙈
.
Recently I had this super delicious "Chocolate Decadence Pastry " in Pune at @thefrenchwindowpatisserie I loved every bite of it. It was worth trying😋. Even I tried their Cold coffee that was also pretty good 🌟
I am in love with this cute little place. This bakery serves pastries, cakes, brownies, and every other dessert, baked goodness and confectionery items that one can think of. It is located in Koregaon Park. I love to visit here again ❤️

Food - 5/5
Staff - 4/5
Ambience - 4.5 /5
I would recommend u all to visit this place once.😃

Hidden in a lane which u can barely see... Cant drive there since it is extremely narrow.. and tried to walk there... Never encountered such a bad road EVEN in Pune.. Approach was a total put off...
The Lamb Chops my friend liked but the the meat of the Pork Chops seemed rather questionable... so when i asked them what they liked.. they both said.. the sauce was good... Luckly both the dishes had the same sauce. I was not so lucky... I ordered the Chicken Roulade... it had no potatoes... no sauted veggies... no accompaniments.. i was hoping it would be on a bed of mash potato but realized it was a plain tasteless omlette on which the roulade lay... A tasteless sauce topped it ... so to add a zing i asked for Tobassco.
The only plus were their Chocolate pastries and the efficient service os Rajiv..

Food: 2.5/5
Ambience: 2.5/5
Service: 4/5

Well the place is located next to Malakha Spice and its wrongly tagged on Google maps. The Vietnamese coffee is excellent along with the baked pesto penne and lime cheese cake. Please take chocolate cookies as a takeaway(the are button shaped).

I have been to the place many times, and a fan of Babita's bakes. I have noticed a considerable degradation of staff attitude and behaviour over the course of the past 3-4 months.

Last I visited on this 2nd Feb Sunday afternoon for a coffee and snack around 4 PM with my wife. The place wasn't busy, and as I paced towards my fav table to sit, the staff blocked me and tried to place me to a table by the stairs which I was not comfortable with. I calmly told him that I don't like that seat and since the place is not very busy I should be entitled to my choice of seats. Instead of offering any explanation, he moved us out and offered the same table to some other guests who walked in behind me. Obviously we walked out right away with such an insulting behaviour of the staff, letting him know this is not the way to treat guests. Don't think we will be returning to FWP anytime sooner, there are lots of good/better options in that area e.g. 1 O Eight Cafe, next door, where we had our coffee and snack instead.

The best place for your breakfast and lunch amidst peace and solitude. The sandwiches both veg and non veg , the drinking hot chocolate and the dark chocolate with marshmallow s are not to be missed. I just love this place and it's ambience.

An amazing place which is extremely delightful to the mood! ❤️ Blueberry and Bailey's Irish Cheesecake are a must try!

This is a beautiful, quiet n Serene place in one of the bylanes of Koregaon Park. The downside being the inner road is bad. Rest believe me this is one place where you won't mind spending your entire day. They have books n dogs to give you company. We had the flavoured Irish coffee and the Vietnamese iced latte. Both were gud. But what really was outstanding was The Jamaican pastry. Each bite was heavenly. Hints of rum, coffee n chocolate makes this a must try.

Cheescake flan was average, tiramisu was really tasty and worth the price and macroons too
Ritu.sablok.21
I ordered my anniversary cake in the morning which had to be delivered/picked up in the evening & they help me narrow down the flavour which was awesome
Now comes the twist: with lot of alteration in the plan i asked them to deliver the cake to my residence which is ard 5-6 kms. The Dunzo guy spoiled the icing of the cake which i informed the owner but i was ready to accommodate but the owner insisted on replacing the cake as it was my special day & she personally came to deliver it.
No doubt the cake met my expectation but what went beyond my Expectation was their Customer Service!! Great & Thanks once again

The Ferrero cake was yumm and appealing., worth the money.

It is one of my go to place for having a coffee and a croissant on a weekend. Pricing is expensive overall.
What really turns me off is that they have no valet for parking. As it is located inside, and road is really bad, getting a car inside and outside is a gruesome task. Please do something about it
Shivam Tiwari
Amazing place. It's give a feel of a French house. The music is soft the ambience is calming and the coffee is soothing. Do try their macron, they have many varieties.

must try:
- Cheesecakes
- Belgian hot chocolate

Great service . Best recommendation. Amazing food . Cozy place .

Went for a brunch on Saturday. Nice quiet place - seems pet friendly given the owner has their own sweet canines. Tried the Eggs Benedict, blueberry pancakes, tuna sandwich etc. All were really great in taste. The portion size of eggs Benedict was kinda small for my liking. Maybe they should serve it with a portion of mashed potatoes or fries.

One of my most favorite places in Pune. Oh boy what a place! If you are in Pune and you want to start your day in a cozy, calm place surrounded by greenery with good food then this is the place. Yeah I can travel miles to have my pancakes, waffles, eggs, coffee at this place.

Situated in Lane 5, this place is 5 on 5, by all means. And this is no flattery straight from the gut (quite literally).

We had a reunion of 3 friends and somehow saw the rating of this place somewhere above 4.5. We initially thought it is overrated but it's not.
We decided to visit. The experience, by all means, was the pinnacle, food & service just lured my heart.

Food 5/5 - We ordered Lentil Soup, Hachis Parmentier, Grilled Chicken Hummus and ended up with Mint Ginger Lemon Cooler. It's hard to suggest one dish, in particular, all were amazing, the blend, the composition. the preparation and the serving, everything just perfect, still I'd suggest Grilled Chicken Hummus as a must-have as you start from the outside and move to the centre, the taste builds up. If you slowly enjoy and savour the dishes you like then this is the place for you, that's truly an experience.

Service 5/5 - I did not have any great service in Pune until now, but hey completely changed my perception. They are quite responsive, and very courteously attend and walk you through the plethora of mouthwatering dishes, with their suggestions as they chat with you.
In our case they replaced a mistakenly ordered hot beverage free of cost without any haggle, you don't expect this treatment everywhere

Ambience 5/5 - The music did put us in the groove of our old days, such a fine blend of 80s pop and 90s BSB hits and then occasional Coldplay hits. The subtle volume levels were subtle enough for us to talk.
They have a great seating arrangement with some unique decals. When we visited, an artist was sitting in his mini-gallery set up just next to the entrance.

I wouldn't suggest if your idea of dining/eating out is just to eat it all in a jiffy, you can enjoy only if you relish the taste and feel the blend of the dishes.
We shall visit this place again, for sure.

One of my favorite place to ease off my hunger for Tiramisu at Pune.. although the tiramisu at Alto Vino at JW Mariott is better for the punekars. But French Window was my first found love.. Cant miss going again n again.. they have some amazing cheese cakes too.. and friendly service

The French Window Patisserie , Lane number 5, Koregaon Park
Looking for some Goa or Pondicherry vibes in Pune? Look no further but in KP, lane number five. Honestly, this place is slightly hard to find.
#Location: It is literally tucked away in a small private lane just next to the famous Malaka Spice in lane number 5. Creepy approach at night but when you are at the gates, you are sure of entering a paradise of sorts, with warm, friendly staff and a few rescued and adopted beautiful furry friends roaming around, serving some extra love at the tables.
Once seated, we were handed the menus promptly. The menu is primarily continental with a lot of salads, sandiwiches, coffees and a lot of delectable French food. And after settling down in the atmosphere and browsing through the menu, our order was:
1. #HotChocolate – This has to be one of the best hot chocolates I have ever had!! This is an #AbsoluteMustOrder
2. #BakedMeatBallsWithPotatoMashAndCheese – There are moments where you just read the name of the dish on the menu and your instinct tells you to order it and that’s exactly what I did. One bite into this and as they say in Puneri Marathi lingo, I proclaimed ‘Vishay End, Bhau’!!! this is a #MustOrder
3. #LambChops with Dill Sour cream and Cauliflower mash – What a abundance of lamb meat on the chops smothered with some beautiful brown sauce!! Awesome stuff
#MyVerdict – This was an apt and short dinner but a fabulous one!! They have some excellent breakfast options too starting from 9am. I think TFWP is truly a tiny food paradise with much needed vacay vibes from the daily routine. Go in for just a coffee or hot chocolate or a proper meal anytime between 9am and 11pm and I am sure you will thank me for this place!! What a find!! and completely worth your money!!
p.s. #Parking in that small alley might be issue. I recommend you park your vehicle on the main road of Lane 5 near Malaka Spice.

Been here for Sunday brunch with friends and it didn’t disappoint at all. The ambience was soothing, staff were polite and the food was exceptional. Ordered three types of chicken dishes and few drinks by it. The hot Belgium dark chocolate was Lit. A must try.

People talk about The French Window for their desserts, but I personally like their food better than the desserts. Strong recommendations:

- Croissants (tried Cheese, Ham & Cheese, and Creamy Mushrooms- loved all three of them)
- Ratatouille (I've am not a spaghetti person, but this one can't be missed)
- Nutella Pancakes
- Hot Chocolate

A few other worthy mentions are:
- Jamaican Coffee Cake
- Mango Cheese Cake

+ Love their ambience. Their outdoor seating on a pleasant day will make you fall in love with this place.

++ Very friendly and helpful staff. Accommodating to all your needs.
I have become a regular at the cafe without even realising it. Everything is super about the place. It feels like someone really worked hard to create a space for people who love going out but want to feel at home. And this is manifested in their delicious but conscious food preparations which make you feel glad after the meal and not just when it arrives. The desserts are so delightful yet light, you end up having an extra spoonful of them. I love their lavender macaroons, baked cheesecake which is oh-so light and their red velvet cupcake which has the best cream cheese icing ever. I mean, basically all their food from sandwiches to tartines to ratatouille to soups and coffee is just fabulous. It’s a respite from all the places I’m jaded of lately. Their music curation is just top-notch and I say this because you can sit there and work while enjoying a non-intrusive, non-instrumental (basically non-boring) playlist which also guides your mood as the day progresses. The owners are super warm and give you such a homely feeling that you won’t be surprised to see a repeat crowd here who are just looking for a great sundowner time. It’s one of the few places in Pune which is working hard to create a culture instead of just taking food orders. Which is why they host a lot of exhibitions and promote events which you’d like to be a part of. Also, the entire staff is what makes the place it is; cosy, chilled out and friendly.

First time eating here delivered - got pork ribs one night and lamb another night - they were AMAZING!!! This is not just good food - this is “artful food.” The people making this food care. The quality is VERY HIGH and the taste is out of this world. Simple dish, so satisfying. One of my favorite restaurants in Pune! So good! And bread was outstanding. Thank you French Window for feeding me tonight. SIX star! I will be back!

French window is one of my favourite places for a good sunday breakfast/brunch in Pune. The ambience is lovely and I love the outdoor seating. This is a roasted bell pepper, caramelized onion and hummus sandwich. The sandwich leans towards a sweet and savoury one where the sweetness of the roasted peppers and caramelized onion is balanced out by the salty bread and the hummus really brings it all together for me. This place is famous for their desserts too. They make some really good cheesecakes but my favourite dessert here is the Mille-feuille(swipe to see the pic) which is a classic French pastry and its made by sandwiching crispy layers of puff pastry with a smooth silky delicious pastry cream. Its one of the few places in Pune that make it perfectly. Also love their crossaints!
The Hungry Chashmish
We recently had the chance to visit this quaint and beautiful eatery in the streets of Koregaon Park (KP).

Luckily we chose to begin our day with a meal from this place and weren’t disappointed at all. It’s so French and beautiful, it’ll steal your heart right away.

We tried the Avocado on Toast which was fresh, refreshing and absolutely crunchy and delicious. It’s a good choice if you’re an Avo fan. We also tried the Cheese Omlette w Chicken here considering no morning is complete without eggs in some form or the other. It was so fluffy, yummy and at the same time comforting. We also drooled over the Hot Chocolate w Marshamallows which is a must have. It was rich, decadent and so sinful, you will just not be able to stop yourself from ordering another one.

All in all, you’ve gotta visit this lovely eatery the next time you’re in and around KP.

Recommend : Jamaican coffee layered cake, Cuppacino , Dryfruit banana crumble , Lamingtons

Very cosy and romantic cafe for long conversations over coffee in the evenings. The place is rightly situated away from the hustle and bustle of main streets providing soothing environment and good vibes. coffees are great along with assorted bakery delicacies.

This is my all time fav place in the city. And its all because of the ambience. ❤️
Cafe-holic!
The cold coffee as well as the capuccinno was watery! I could only taste skimmed milk in cold coffee and the capuccinno was burnt!

Very peaceful environment and a cozy place to hangout even alone..you can take ur fav book with you and enjoy your food with it.....The costs are slightly on the higher side, but the taste and experience justifies it. They often change their decor as per the festivals and seasons...One important thing is that this is a pet friendly restaurant so we can take our pets for a ride as well.

Quaint little place, hidden from sight. Excellent eggs on toast were had, with great coffee. And the pain au chocolat were so great that I had to grab more in a to-go bag.

Such a cozy and peaceful place! If you are looking to have breakfast at a decent place then this is the one. The solely have this factor of ‘taste’ in the food. Totally loved this place. This place has now become my new favourite. We ordered marcarons too of flavours, chocolate and coffee (there were so many flavours to choose from). The coffee served here is also hot and good. The lady at the counter is very polite and the best part is they are working on taking care of atreet dogs with all the donatiok you give. Kidos to them for working so hard and doing everything that they can.
I would love to visit this place again. Best place for breakfast with a cozy ambience :)

Perfect place to go to spend noon or evening. Great choices in menu with great range of desserts. Didn't tried desserts because we were full with the mains but, I am looking forward to visit again to have desserts here. Service is quick and staff are welcoming thought .

The place did not have a separate No Smoking Area. Secondly parking was a major issue with no valet and no one to man the space. The manager extra ordinarily rude when feedback was given. Too many mosquitoes and the tables were stinking with a fowl smell.

The serene charm of this place makes the dining experience a delight. Good Food with reasonable pricing, makes one wanna come here again & again.
I like their pancakes, specially the apple topping one (I prefer the toppings on the side)
They make a mean cup of cappuccino.
Masala tea was also nice.
Ambience is an outside seating of a bungalow, surrounded by plants, books and soft tunes in the background.
Service is good and quick. But if they don't come to take your order soon, then step into their main restaurant area and tell them what you want.

This outlet is a pride of the city... Consistent in their food and making sure customers are happy.

Heard so much about the place before visiting and it lived up to it's reputation. The food is so refined and delicious, especially the mushroom tartare. The staff was so great and offered to whip up something from the breakfast menu at lunch time. the cafe has a great vibe and will definitely be visiting again ! Good stuff guys :)

I absolutely love this place. Located in a quiet little lane of Koregaon Park, it is the perfect place for a first date. It's quiet, quaint and has this warm vibe. The hot chocolate is to die for. One of the best I have had in the city. And their cheesecake, oh my god.

Looking for a place to chill?
Alone? Got work to finish? Wanna smoke and have a delicious coffee?
Crazy for pastries? Have a thing for coffee?

Hot Chocolate and Frappe is a must try ❤️

Evening the snacks are yummy and they are very light and fresh.
The Red-Velvet Pastry and the chocolate decadence, both are amazingly yummy and delicious.

Would give this place a five on five for staff, ambience and food. They hit the bull's eye at each paramter.

One of my favourite hangouts, the food, the pastries and the staff all get a 5 star rating. The staff is very welcoming and also the food is delicious. They also try and accommodate a couple of changes in a dish if possible if there's something that's not appealing to the palate. A must visit if in Koregaon Park.

The Roast Populer La' Orange is exquisite. Please try it. Your life is incomplete without it. The desserts are all great but there's one particular caramel citrus combination which was mind blowing!!

Walk through Lane 5 in Koregaon Park and right next to Malaka Spice you see a board - at the beginning of a not so noticeable alley - that reads ‘The French Window Patisserie’. You start walking in the alley - a muddy pathway resembling one of those in the countryside - and as you take a few steps feeling the fresh breeze caressing your face (thanks to the plants and trees around), you reach the entrance of this cozy place that immediately sends you a welcoming vibe. Whether it’s the patio seating or the snug inside - you just feel pleasant.
Coming to what we ordered, which is why you are reading this after all ;) -
1. Aztec - Hot Chocolate with Chilli and Cinnamon - Sinful Indulgence with the aroma of spices soothing your senses to calmness. You don’t have to worry too much about this sin though, as the person who prepared it told me that they don’t add any additional sugar to the drink and it’s just made out of melted chocolate :)
2. Coffee Frappe - Cold coffee whipped in cream - giving you just about the hint of coffee in cream with a mild sweetness.
3. Lavender Macaroon with Vanilla Cream - I just loved this one - creamy vanilla inside a well done macaroon pleasantly smelling of lavender.
4. Chocolate Eclaire - Soft pastry with chocolate cream inside and on top - It tasted well but I prefer the custard filling instead :P

Following were the prices:
1. Aztec ₹162
2. Coffee Frappe ₹153
3. Macaroon ₹57
4. Chocolate Eclair ₹76

All in all a lovely place to visit, my final comments:
Food - 4/5 ( Although I didn’t try their meals)
Ambience - 4/5
Service- 4.5/5

As someone rightly said, “Love and Macaroons are all you need”.
Bon Appetite ! :)

This place is one of the finest place to have desserts. The chocolate ckae with starwberries are a treat to have. All the desserts are absolutely yummy and the place is cozy and comfy.

I loved the ambience and the vibes of the place. We had baked cheesecake and it was scrumptious. I will definitely go to the place again to have the cheesecake.

“The Koregaon park style cafe” ??? Here we go >>
The French window patisserie!

“Apple Cinnamon Tea”

Who doesn’t like the whiff of freshly baked pastries if you step inside a charming bakery!! This place with white interiors and wooden seating with an array of goodies make for its simple, pretty decor >> THE FRENCH WINDOW PATISSERIE
After spending almost 2 years in Pune, there was no place in #kp or #kalyaninagar I did not cover!!
Just beside our very famous “Malaka Spice”, my Asian favourite, comes this small cafe joint where you can spend nice time with books or pets!
Try their Christadam’ – a gateau composed of the quirky combination of some tangy passion fruit and decadent chocolate with some spicy-sweet notes emanating from the hazelnut and almond sponge. This with the Apple cinnamon tea >> a complete sinful experience.❤️ I’m sure you gonna come back 😎

@thefrenchwindowpatisserie @thepunefoodie@now_thats_a_real_gourmand

#applecinnamon #tea #tealover☕️ #ambiances #cafe #frenchstyle #bakes #thefrenchwindowpatisserie #koregaonpark #koregaonparklane5
#discoverpune #pune #myneighbour #puneblogger #mumbaifoodbloggers #punehereicome
Cozy ambience, lovely people and great food.
I ordered caffe latte and croquette pita pockets (veg), perfect brew and lip smacking pockets. It’s a must place and whenever I will be in Pune, I will definitely come back. Lovely ❤️
