The ambiance is really nice. They have an outdoor seating arrangement as well as indoor with AC. ● the buffalo wings were really tasty and made freshly. ● the strawberry mocktail was okayish loaded with whipped cream, so I won't recommend it. ● the chicken lasagna was good according to the price but definitely had tasted better before ● the thai curry rice was the best among all the items ordered. I wish they provided more rice for the price they charged. Coming to deserts, the variety is huge and really tasty. You can definitely try the deserts.

Place has good vibes. Food was served fresh and hot. The pizzas are just amazing. The restaurant has an inside and outside area. Staff was polite and quick service was ensured. Good food.

A different menu, and great service define German Bakery. This branch is located smack in the center of Pune. Usually the place is great to hang out with your significant other, and depends on timing. Nowadays though it’s a fad to get your new borns and small kids also to a bar! That’s what parenting is apparently nowadays. The space inside is well laid out but might get cramped & loud as people converse, (especially children). We didn’t expect this at all and we’re bugged by a particularly loud table with the adults on their phones and children screaming and creating a ruckus. No fault of the restaurant here but they could have asked them to keep it down! Recommend the Oodles of Noodles and tiramisu! The staff is super helpful and attentive.

Best place to hangout with friends and meeting new people. The place serves really good and tasty food and the cost is decent too. The best thing is they have ample seating indoors as well as outdoors. Great place for drinks too, quite happening as it located at very famous area. The staff is really helpful and nice to talk. We had non veg dishes and the food was fresh and served quick. They have quite a lot of variety of small eats and main courses. All the dishes are unique in itself. The best thing is even after your food is finished you can sit and relax for while. The ambience of place is quite good and cozy. Overall had a great experience visiting this place. I was quite lucky to have met Mr Vikram Karve sir for a tasty and sumptous lunch at this place. The staff is well aware about Mr Karve and it was fun time

This is a small place located in the corner of the middle road, the outside seating is quite noisy due to the traffic but inside it's very calm and peaceful. Overall the ambience is good, the food is good, the price is slightly on the higher side.

Having some great old memories of the original and legendary German Bakery of Koregaon Park you tend do a comparison with the new one immidiately but that era was different and with different set of patrons. Being there for quite a long time the German Bakery Wunderbar has a whole new set up and a modern outlook keeping mind the young crowd it attracts. I had been here for breakfast early morning and i guess thats a good time if you want to have a peaceful meal. German bakery wunderbar has a long list of delicacies on their menu. The Keema Pav (shouldnt be missed) i had was just amazing and did not expect them to serve it early morning. Their variety of confectioneries are just lovely, must try. This place is spacious, well designed and maintained which added up to the vibes. Has a seperate bar area for the evenings. Over all a lovely place to visit.

German Bakery Wunderbar is a wonderful place to enjoy food and drink in relaxed ambience. The menu features a variety of drinks and delicious dishes - breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. I wish they had WiFi for customers - as this would enhance the eating experience - especially with friends - as Social Media is a must in today's world.

The place is good BT the sitting needs to be improved.its not comfortable.the food is good but service Is bad.they take orders and forget to come and ask to the customer if they want anything else.u keep calling waiters nd they pass message to other saying that guy will come,he will come etc. Need to improve over all.

First of all the attendant did not tell us the correct waiting time. Each time when we asked the guy he had same answer "10 minutes only". Finally after waiting for 50 minutes we got the entry. The drinks options were quite good but the service was horrible. Waiters over there could not understand in first go. We had to repeat what we wanted to convey. Food quality was really average compared to its cost. We ordered a pizza which was half burnt. Now about the worst part about this place. These guys charge you with VAT+service tax+ service charge as well. As per recent rules, you can refuse to pay the service charge if you don't like the service. We asked the attendant to cancel the service charge but he argued with us giving the reason that they did not receive any documentation from president of India yet. I mean come on give me a break. What kind of useless reasons is this. We asked him to give the reasons in writing but he refused and kept on repeating that we have to give this charge no matter what. Overall I would say this place is not for honest people. I won't go here again.

It's a perfect place for lunch if you want to go on a short road trip to Lonavla from Pune or mumbai. The staff was quite confused when we walked in on a Sunday afternoon but as we started our meal they were quite warm and efficient. The food is nice if you order right. The sangria and fish & chips were perfect in their flavourings. The chicken lasagna however, wasn't one bit appetising. My feast ended on a good note after I ordered the cheesecake and a slice of multi layered chocolate cake.

The best kheema pav and chicken Lasagna .....n yes peach flavoured ice tea ....n that rainbow cake layered with several flavours !!!Great Ambience and quick service ... Love this place ....

This place is literally amazing😍😍 They provide one of the best cheesecakes in the town. I have tried their baked blueberry cheesecake and baked double chocolate cheesecake and I will rate both 5/5. Their pasta is tasty too but they put peas in the pasta which is a no no for me but otherwise it tasted good. This place is a little expensive though🤭

Been here for having a weekend brunch. Ordered Spanish omlette, German sausage omlette, Barbecue chicken burger , Bacon n cheese burger and Caramel frappe. It's a very good experience. It's an awesome place to chill out with friends or family while enjoying some good food. Surely will go for it again.

It’s always crowded due to the great location but you find a place to sit in a few minutes almost always. They have outdoor and indoor seating options available. The food is great and it’s always happening. Live screening is available every-time there is an important match so a good time is guaranteed always!

The german bakery hasn't lost its charm over the years.....I have been to this place a lot before but took a long break as I moved away.....now that I am back I tried the usual white sause pasta, the barbecue chicken pizza , and my favourite blueberry cheesecake....and in the end it just left me asking for more....cheers to the staff for being extremely polite and cheerful towards the guests...

Went here with my office group. <br/>We reached at 8:20, gave the order but got our drinks after almost 25 minutes. Thats really slow considering the fact that the place was almost empty. We didn't complain of the slow service cause we anticipated really good cocktails.<br/><br/>But to our disappointment they absolutely below par. All of us at the table were good connoisseurs of alcohol and cocktails. The drinks didn't taste good neither did they have a standard amount of alcohol.<br/><br/>At 8:50, we started trying to get the waiters attention to complain about the drinks being too sweet and not potent enough to be called cocktails.<br/>It took him 15 minutes to acknowledge to the fact.<br/><br/>A cocktail worth almost 400 ruppees is expected to have atleast 45ml of said combination of alcohol. But being connoisseurs we could all acertain that it somehow wasn't even close to half with lesser than 20ml alcohol per drink. The cocktails only tasted sweet as nector.<br/><br/>We had gin and orange juice based cocktail, it was not upto the mark, the taste felt unnatural for the orange juice, pretty sure it was bad quality canned juice.<br/><br/>The other was whiskey and Jagermeister based cocktail, we could hardly taste the whiskey or the Jagermeister, Both these ingredients are supposed to be strong on the palette. But we could literally feel and taste just sweet nector. <br/><br/><br/>We normally get a buzz after a couple of cocktails, but we got none, even after finishing 2 pitchers of beer.<br/><br/>The restaurant management wasnt in agreement to the complaint of cocktails.. they said and confirmed that they consisted of 45ml each... so be it, I wouldnt waste my evening quarrelling over alcohol at a day of celebration. Sad to say, but this place was once one of our fav hangouts and now the service and quality of drinks has degraded so much over the last 3 years..<br/><br/>Needless to say, they have lost a loyal gang of customers.<br/><br/>The food is good though.. but the restaurant really needs to work on service and quality of drinks.

We tried the<br/>Hummus and Jalapeño Sandwich: 3.5/5 (substantial filling, but dry bread)<br/>Elderberry and Vodka cocktail: 4/5 (quite fruity and fresh)<br/>Coffee and Vodka cocktail: 5/5 (great coffee flavour, perfect taste, not boozy)<br/>We also got the cocktails for Rs. 99 each through the DineOut app.

A trip to Pune isn't complete without a visit to German bakery, for old time's sake, if nothing else. Our schedule allowed for a quick breakfast, so that is what it had to be. Eggs all around, we had the spinach and mushroom folded omelet, eggs Benedict and German sausage omelet. Really generous with the bacon and sausage, we absolutely loved all 3 dishes. The Mava cake was dry and left a lot to be desired. We wanted to take a few back, thankfully we decided to taste one. We couldn't resist packing a few cookies for the way back.

First time visited Law College road German Bakery and it was best experience. Order Chicken Ceaser Salad and it was awesome. Staff is also courteous and ambiance is also good. <br/><br/>Just one suggestion - Keep Smoking area away from Non smoker area.

This is undeniably the most popular eatery amongst the youngsters, it is noticebale as soon as you step in. Me saying anything will not make a difference to their Goodwill.<br/>I ordered a pastry and a pizza. Pastry was outstanding, Pizza was good, thin crust & cheesy.<br/>Would go here again for sure, next time, for the drinks.

German Bakery usually does not disappoint, however, this Sunday was particularly unpleasant. We were seated in an area right next to the music speakers in spite of specifically asking for a place away from the speakers. After we ordered, we requested along with many others sitting in the same area as us for the volume to be lowered just a bit. However, the staff told us off rudely, saying it's a Sunday (which I'm not sure is an excuse). Even after repeated requests for a table away from the speakers, we were not paid any attention to. We left our food half way and left because of the headache the music gave us. A note to the wise: skip German Bakery if rude staff and loud music is not your cup of tea. Order home delivery instead so that you'll be able to enjoy your meal and not go deaf.

the staff is failing to be attentive to the customers needs inspite of repaeted attempts being made. Very little to no efforts being put in by the staff here. Highly dissapointing to see this happen in a well reputed and a highly frequented place by me. Sadly wont be recommending the place to anyone hereafter due to the falling CR standards here.

This place used to be my failsafe for good food. The quality of food has declined. The portion size is smaller than before. The hummus pepper jalapeno sandwich was okay at best. The cheese potato burger was quite bad. The patty was not well done. The portion of veg lasagna is almost half what was served before. Didn't try any desserts. Overall a pretty bad experience of a place which has served great food before.

Tiramisu was served in a small cup with distinct layer of cream cheese with a strong coffee infusion. Coffee powder was sprinkled on the top. It was not very sweet and was creamy and airy. Service- Quick and prompt. Rating- 4 as the quantity for the price is less.

Dining experience wasn't what I expected. Was here during lunchtime still went through such a trashy experience. Went on to order grilled veggies and roasted chicken. But I was rather served with stir fried tossed veggies. Second, the waiter didn't even bother to serve and got all the items separate. I mean who serves grilled veggies and roasted chicken separate!!!!!<br/>Third, the menu looks quite limited and out of that limited menu the salad was not even available.<br/><br/>All in all, complete waste of money when whatever written in the menu isn't served right. Worst staff behaviour... very rude... shame on this place

Was here for a Sunday lunch. Cocktail options are mind boggling, and seem to be quite good overall. Got excited by the mead section only to be told it isn't available. Salad was well dressed, but the feta in the salad was provided in cube form. Sausage was messy but delicious, and the dessert was great. Staff seemed disinterested and unfamiliar with most of the items on the menu.

I realised that this diner now has 5 outlets in Pune and chose this one for no particular reason. Did a table reservation as I knew this gets crowded.<br/><br/>This place has outdoor as well as indoor seating. Once indoor and seated realised that it has the usual pasta , burger, pizza with drinks options. Not many variants that caught my eye. <br/><br/>Ordered a beer and some finger food to go with it. Then for the main course went for pasta and a chicken dish. All in all the food was average in taste and texture. I did not like the chicken as it was soggy , and chewy definitely not fresh to my T Buds.<br/><br/>The finger food and caramel  cheese cake was the best of the lot and this made me believe that this place at its heart is a beer + cafe which has graduated into serving full scale meals. I believe they are good at the beer , finger food and deserts side but got to get their food act together. <br/><br/>Service too was average to say the least.

Both perfectly cooked and served. We also tried their amazing cheese and jalapeno nuggets which were extremely delicious and exactly what my palette desired.<br/>The garlic bread was perfectly crisp on the outside and deliciously moist inside with the yummy butter and spices.<br/><br/>Also loved the beautiful plating done for all dishes including Hummus and pita bread<br/>Both Farmhouse special pizza & Jerk chicken pizza had their own quirky tastes that i loved.<br/>While my friends ordered Pasta arrabiata for themselves I relished my all time favourite Macaroni and cheese along with the Irish Coffee<br/>We did complete our meal with a beautiful rainbow cake.

Finally got to try the outlet of pune german bakery after having a wonderful experience in mumbai. This outlet is located on the main road and has a small entrance with a long corridor to the inside sittings. The ambiance is lowkey with songs in the background to give it a lively feel. I tried had cocktails which were one of the best i had <br/><br/>Drinks:<br/>Whisker cooler 5/5 <br/>Rosemary elder martini 5/5<br/>Karapple cocktail 4/5<br/>Frrrrrozen hot chocolate 5/5 best drink/shake i felt i had there.<br/>Creamy hazel 5/5 This one was suggested by the staff and was living up to the expectations as the names gives. Must try.<br/><br/>Then we started with <br/>Hummus & pita 5/5 was great at presenting and delicious hummas with soft pita breads.<br/>Lahsa chicken momos 4/5 steamed momos w/ great chutney by side. Worth a try.<br/>Cheese & jalapeño nuggets 5/5 stuffing was drool worthy.<br/>Szechuan chilli pepper prawns 4/5 heads up they are a way spicy dish so only the spice lovers indulge in that.<br/>Spicy mustard cottage cheese pizza 5/5 tried very few veg pizzas but this one tops the lit. Must try.<br/>Gafield’s cheesy chicken lasagna 3/5 it was a bit disappointing for me I didn’t like its flavour.<br/>Bacon & cheese burger 4/5 was a bit dry and could have been more saucy but was great at flavour and taste.<br/><br/>Desserts were the best part and it had to be coz we were expecting the same from bakery!<br/>Raspberry red velvet cheesecake 5/5<br/>Blueberry cheesecake 5/5<br/>Chocolate lamingtons 4/5 was covered with coconut sprinkles.<br/> <br/>A best evening spent at this great place and would surely be visiting again. Visited this lovely place after a very long time. Truly this isn't just a bar it's wunderbar. The ambience and the feel of this place is so good.... and positive too.<br/>You can have a good time at this place.<br/>Was very confused what to order, that was the time when the service person helped me. He asked me my preferences and suggested me a few dishes. I was totally happy ordering whatever he suggested.<br/>I had fish and chips and popcorn chicken dynamite. Both of the starters were yummy and finger licking good.<br/>To accompany them I ordered rough sex on beach and my favorite wunder liit, they were nice blend of flavours and spirits. They were smooth and nice.<br/>Then was still hungry so thought of ordering a jerk chicken pizza and garfields cheesy chicken which were simple yet awesome.<br/>Then comes the favorite part of my meal...<br/>Desserts.<br/>I had Frozen Cold Chocolate and a Rainbow cake.<br/>I don't think I need to say anything about it. You must try this to know more about it.

It was after work when few friends decided to meet over some good food and good drinks. We decided to visit German Bakery Bakery Wunderbar at Law College Road.<br/><br/>ABOUT THE VENUE - <br/><br/>They have a beautiful sit out outside with counters for on spot orders. Some of the corners along the beautiful painted walls are very cozy and beautiful. The bar and dine in is inside with old style lights that gives it a vintage look yet classy ambiance. There is another sitting space on top which has some classic painting on walls. The painting on the ceiling stole my heart--- owls all over and I love owls. Amazing.<br/><br/>LETS TALK FOOD<br/><br/>I am not sure if I would be able to choose which one was my favorite because all I remember my taste buds saying yummmmm yummmm yummmmmmy!! But yeah no doubt the hummus was just right in taste, the Garfield’s Cheesy Chicken was too good with perfect taste of burnt cheese. The Jalepeno Nuggets were well cooked and crunchy.<br/><br/>In beverages everything was great but yes Pineapple Upside Down stole my heart. Rum, caramel and pineapple juice = HEAVEN.<br/><br/>The rainbow cake with all the colors and a perfect bite made it a perfect ending to a delicious dinner that evening. They both are my all time favorites. Pizza is thin crust and full of toppings. Thick shakes were grate. Must have them.<br/>4)Pasta was nice. Tasted desi.<br/>5)Pizza was average.<br/>6)Cheese cutlet were average.<br/>7)nonveg dishesh were great. Prawns and fish were cooked nicely. Must try.

One of the best cafe in city to hang out with friends. Every time I visit this place the taste has been fulfilled. The staff is also friendly. The place is good even the ambiance is also great. The best are there pastry (cheese cake). You can have breakfast, brunch. Recommend for teenagers.

Freak Shakes at German Bakery is the best way to order everything you love in just one drink. I mean I love Coffee, I love Chocolates, I love Cakes, I love Ice-Creams, and I loooooooooved this Freak Shake. If you haven't tried it yet you're missing on something you don't want to.<br/><br/>SNACKEROONIES:-<br/><br/>Fish N Chips (335 INR):- As I always say, My love for fish has always been limited to Prawns but that doesn't meant I don't eat or like fish. And with some recipes like these, It always makes me have a second thought about the same. The crunchy bites into a well cooked fish goes perfect with a side of masala fries and salad.<br/><br/>A LIL' BIT MORE:-<br/><br/>Spaghetti Aglio Olio Peperoncino (280 INR):- This dish, is a Roman staple, and is known for many Italians as a late night necessity. You know, the type of meal you make when you get home at 3am, drunk, after a night out in the city! Spaghetti Aglio Olio Peperoncino is a quick, go- to first course or side made with olive oil, chili peppers and garlic. You can also add Chicken (150 INR) and Prawns (250 INR) to your meal.<br/><br/>PIZZAS ON FIRE:-<br/><br/>Spicy Cottage Cheese (360 INR):- Given the fact that I prefer burgers over pizzas and if I had to go for a pizza I'd prefer Non-Veg ones Veg ones anyday, This one did quite an impressive job of making me like it. Topped with a unique duo of Cottage Cheese and Spinach, This Pizza is nothing but lip-smacking.<br/><br/>Spiced Garlic Bacon Cheese (240 INR):- This is the best from the lot we are talking about. As the name suggests, the presence of Spices, Garlic, Bacon and Cheese as the main ingredients compliments every bit of the name. Bacon & Cheese is everything about making your taste-buds dance.<br/><br/>SWEET ENDINGS:-<br/><br/>Baked Double Chocolate Cheesecake(230 INR):- I have fallen for Baked Cheesecakes time and time again ever since I had the Baked Cheesecake at Millers and every time I have it, my love for cheesecake only grows. And If that wasn't enough, @when_in_pune had built a whole lot of suspense well before they brought this cheesecake that only got real when I took the first bite of it. This Baked Double Chocolate Cheesecake is an utterly delicious proof that you can never wrong with chocolate.<br/><br/>Raspberry Red Velvet Cheesecake (220 INR):- I don't know why but I have never loved Red Velvet Pastry or Red Velvet Cheesecake, and I guess that is maybe because of my lack of sweet-tooth. I mean I crave sweet but not as much as savory or spicy food. But before this whole write-up becomes totally irrelevant, what I'm trying to say is - This Raspberry Red Velvet Cheesecake has totally changed my perception about the Red Velvet Cheesecake and in every good ways possible. The tartness of the raspberries create the perfect balance to the sweet biscuit base and the condensed milk in the cheesecake.<br/><br/>Along with It's comfy ambiance, courteous staffs and mouth-watering recipes, different people will always have their own stories and reasons on why you should go to this place.But I must say that nothing can be experience only in words, you have to visit this place. And let me say that in all caps again - "YOU HAVE TO VISIT THIS PLACE", lol.

German Bakery which is one of the legendary places in Pune has always met my hang out place with friends! The Hummus & Pita and Chicken has always been my go-to order because they make it just right every time & I love how they maintain their consistency!<br/><br/>The pizzas like Farmhouse & Bacon Cheese are some from the list that I would highly recommend as they has just so different from the regular ones! Heavily loaded & the crisp thin base make it more awesome! 😍<br/><br/>Do try the Frozen Got Chocolate here and the Cheesecake because these are some of the dishes which will make you come back for more !

Pune’s iconic German Bakery now has an all-new menu while retaining its best sellers of the yore!<br/><br/>Walk in early in the evening to grab the best seats in their Al-fresco section.<br/>The entire space is warm, breezy and super-inviting.<br/><br/>Had the grilled Pita with a bowl of Hummus doused in ample extra virgin or olive oil. What a great way to kickoff this meal.<br/><br/>The Chilly cheese toast with bell peppers and chives is a joy of a snacker and perfect with a cup of really good Cappuccino<br/><br/>They’ve launched all new pizzas and I tried the smoked paneer mustard pizza. The Mustard Paneer tastes absolutely unique along with the marinara but I wasn’t a fan of the biscuit-ey base. It isn’t exactly thin-crust. Would like them to go more thin on it for that crunch.<br/><br/>The Spaghetti Aglio Olio with olives , summer squash and fresh pesto would have been excellent but for the slightly over-cooked Spaghetti. Pretty good portion size.<br/><br/>The Raspberry red velvet cheesecake is spot on with the sourness of raspberry cutting through the sweetness in the red velvet cake and cheese. Could have been a bit more moist but I’m nitpicking.<br/><br/>The Baked double chocolate cheesecake is an overload of chocolate and an easy winner for Cocoa fans.<br/><br/>With snugly evening vibes coupled with cheap alcohol, friendly staff and quick service, this Wunderbar has everything going for it.<br/>Only feedback, please watch out for overcooked pasta. Better still, ask your patrons if they want the pasta al-dente or well-cooked. And yes, go thinner on the pizza base.

German Bakery - A crowd puller since it opened up in the student zone here on the Law College Road. The place is always buzzing whether it be with coffee lovers during day time or party crowd after dusk. This Wunderbar carries the legacy of the legendary German Bakery in terms of the food offerings.<br/><br/>The ambience is contemporary and the staff is very courteous.<br/><br/>The menu offers a wide variety of continental cuisine and promise you a whole new level of gastronomic experience.<br/><br/>The breakfast menu looked very impressive but we were here for dinner. We ordered appetizers; chicken popcorn (Popcorn Chicken dynamite), hummus and crispy pita bread (Hommus and Pita), Chilli Cheese toast (amazingly cheesy) the perfect bar bite & Fish'n chips. I highly recommend all these appetizers. Just eat fish and chips while is hot.<br/><br/>For drinks, we had ordered Frozen hot chocolate, chilled coffee & lemon mint iced tea. The chilled coffee was a bit too sweet (suggestion for you is to specify your choice while ordering). The frozen hot chocolate is more of cream and less of frozen chocolate, this could have been richer, but it is worth the prize.<br/>In mains, we went with Italian and ordered a Spaghetti Aglio Olio, Spiced garlic bacon cheese and spicy cottage cheese in mustard sauce pizza. The pasta was slightly overcooked and low on olive oil. The bacon pizza was amazing, with its thin crust, fresh cheese and tons of bacon strips, this pizza was a party in my mouth. The cottage cheese pizza in mustard sauce was also a total delight. The cottage cheese was so soft and had a unique (in pizza) taste of mustard sauce.<br/><br/>The desserts are a speciality here, but I felt that the double baked cheesecake could've been a little more moist. The raspberry red velvet cheesecake was totally on point.<br/><br/>I would definitely recommend this place for pocket friendly beer, some amazing Italian food and some proper coffee (based on recommendations from other friends).
