Review Royal China Delivery - Pune

Royal China has awesome options when it comes to authentic Asian food. I had some home delivered goodness from them last week. Food was delivered on time and was warm when it reached. Packaging was spill proof and easy to re-heat too. We had cottage cheese dumplings. It had nice thin cover and filled with cottage cheese and flavors. Silken Tofu as name suggests it was super soft and had nice burnt garlic aroma. Exotic vegetables curry was loaded with gourmet veggies. Crispy pan fried noodles were well tossed and accompanied with mix veg gravy. Chocolate mud cake was well layered chocolate cake. Overall a nice experience.

Royal China has been one of the undisputed winners for Chinese food. I tried the Siu Mai Dumplings, crispy butterfly prawns, stir fried chicken in oyster sauce and vegetables and chicken hakka noodles. The food was delicious and the portions were also good. Though it is a delivery kitchen now, the food reminded me of the good old days when Royal China use to be my Go-TO place in Kalyani Nagar.

Royal China, which was popularly known for their Chinese and Cantonese food has come up with a cloud kitchen. So, all those Asian delicacies you can have it delivered at home. I’ve been always fond of their food and when I got to know that now they are delivering at home, I couldn’t resist myself to order. Starting with dumplings I had their ‘Black Mushroom Dumplings’ which were delicious. They were orange in color and filled with mushroom. The taste was just amazing. ‘Roast Pork Cheung Fun’ has been my favourite since starting and that’s why had to order again to relish that taste. It’s basically rice noodle roll which is very thin and filled with pork. It had bit of a sweet taste and that’s what it made so good. Then there was ‘Sautéed Prawns with Chinese Chive and XO sauce’. Chive basically is a Chinese herb and XO sauce is a spicy seafood sauce (originated from hongkong) and the prawns were sautéed in both of these things. It had a savoury taste. ‘Crispy Pan fried Noodles in Black bean sauce’ were turned out to be good for main course. Their black bean sauce was perfect and noodles were crispy fried. For desserts I’ve decided to go for ‘Chocolate Mud Cake’ and it was heavenly. I had such soft and gooey cake after ages. It was delish. Overall, this place is perfect to satisfy all your Chinese food cravings. And it’s one of the best Asian food place in town. A must try.

If you are looking authentic Chinese food with no indian touch in it then this place should be your next destination! This place is located inside the Westin Hotel in Koregaon Park. Service is par excellence with one of the best Chinese foods in town. We tried their: Dumplings: Tried their Prawn crabmeat and black pepper, seaweed with crabmeat sauce, minced tenderloin Dumplings. I must say I haven't tried such an amazing Dumplings in decades. I love Prawns and they served it amazingly. Though I'm not a big fan of noodles but it was worth a try. Egg fried rice was tasted differently unlike Indian style. Till the dessert came we were out of space and our tummy was full. It was soft and more of a spongy one. Overall we had an amazing dinner at Royal China. Great staff with quick service.

The Royal China @ Westin Pune is a treat for Chinese cuisine lovers. A subtle ambience, typical Chinese motifs in the furniture and a courteous staff make up this restaurant. The soup portions are hearty with a comforting taste. The dimsums are delicately made and tantalise the palate for 'just one more...' The Seafood Dumpling with Ginger and Chili Oil is #stronglyrecommended as are the Pork Barbecue noodles.

I ordered from this place called Royal china their food is delicious i loved kung pao potato , silken tofu tossed in burnt garlic was the best also hakkah noodle mix vegetable choclate mud cake Was also yummy if you want to taste royal taste of china this is perfect place for you

Wonderful buffet items to choose from along with finely spiced delicacies nothing over flavored and well balanced taste. The deserts were very yummy as well ! Very pleasing place visually as well. Perfect for a lovely afternoon lunch.

Ambiance: I have always wanted to visit a restaurant where I can feel royal and as well as good food. My search stopped when I came across this place. The best ambiance so far. Food: We ordered crab meat dumplings and har gow dumplings, the filling in these were well cooked and the taste of these dumplings along with Schezwan dips were mouthwatering. Crispy duck spring roll was something I was hesitant when I read the name but I was completely surprised by its taste. This was the first time I was eating duck meat and this dish did not disappoint me. Prawns tossed in salt and pepper were nice and crispy. Mongolian fried chicken was extremely tasty and the marination was perfect for the chicken. The mock tails we ordered were Virgin Mary and Pinacolada, they were satisfyingly good in taste. Chocolate mud cake had this amazing spongy cake that I could not resist finishing it. Staff: Well the staff is punctual and hygienic. They serve you with the best dishes available.

Located within the compound of the famous Westin Hotel on Koregaon Park Extension Royal China is highly recommended for one and all. We had ten or more dishes in succession during our family lunch today, of which the three types of prawns need special mention. These are the prawn dumplings, golden fried prawns and butter and crumb fried crispy prawn cutlets. The chilli chicken, five types of dumplings, asparagus, water chestnut items, sweat and sour pork, rice noodles, egg and vegetable fried rice dishes were all outstanding. There is a special lunch package which includes all of the above items for a very reasonable price. Last but not least, the waiters are willing to click your photos anytime you ask them. Once again, highly recommended. Budget for about 2500 /-or thereabouts per couple.

We ordered wild mushroom crystal dumpling , streamed veg wonton soya chilli and crispy salt and pepper lobster. Everything was prepared nicely.

Great ambiance, prompt, courteous serving staff, great food at this fine-dine restaurant has earned it my rating. We had Chicken Coriander Soup (5/5), Royal Sweet Corn with Veg Soup (5/5), Veg Spring Rolls (5/5), Kung Pao Chicken (5/5) and Crispy Pan-fried Noodles (5/5). Their presentation, quantity, and flavor were excellent. Serving staff was attentive, without being intrusive. I recommend this restaurant for those who like Chinese food.

Recently I ordered hakka noodles with mix vegetable and sweet corn soup. Everything was excellent. Fresh food delivered.

Sweet corn soup is my favourite from their menu. Awesome taste and perfectly prepared. Packaging was nice.

Royal China Royal China is one of the posh restaurants located in The Westin, Mundhwa and they serve Chinese and Cantonese cuisine. The restaurant has a impressive décor and is well lit. They have recently done a makeover of the decor and it is done beautifully. The restaurant has been operating since 4.5 years and has a seating capacity of around 115 pax. They also have a private dining table with seating capacity of around 20 pax which is not placed in the common seating area and does gives you a feeling of actual private dining experience. I was invited over here for #FoodTasting. The restaurant has a dedicated menu of Dimsums and Dumpling consisting of around 110 types which is one of the most extensive menu I have seen. Although they serve Veg & Non Veg food they do have a separate vegetarain menu where only veg dishes from the menu are mentioned which will help Pure Vegetarian folks choose the dishes more quickly. A very unique thought. The Cutlery used is also impressive. They have a special serving spoon kept on the table which can be used by the guest themselves for serving the food. Starters Chicken - Shrimp Sui Mai Dumplings & Truffle and Edamame Dumpling: Both dumplings had a thin coating and were well steamed. The truffle and Edamame dumpling had a slight crunchy and smooth filling, it was mild on flavors yet it was brilliant in taste whereas the Chicken-Shrimp dumpling and small pieces of chicken and shrimps which were good in taste. Truffle & Edamame was a clear winner for me. #Musthave Crispy Duck Spring Roll: Undoubtedly the best spring roll which I have had till date. The coating sheets were super thin and crispy; it was stuffed with shredded duck meat which was medium spicy and truly flavorful. It was served with Plum sauce which was also superb in taste. #Musthave Crispy Aromatic Duck: This had deep fried duck meat which is supposed to be stuffed in roll made from pancake along with salad and Plum sauce, the pan cake was thin sheet and the salad was crunchy, it was a excellent combination and I really enjoyed it a lot. #highlyrecommended Mains We were almost full after having starters and wanted to try something lite in mains, so we asked Gourang for some suggestions he suggested us Prawns in Chilli and Spring Onion, Flaming Chicken in Superior Sauce and egg fried rice. The prawns in chilli & spring onion had prawns tossed in chilli oil sauce with spring onions and were bit spicy in taste, Flaming chicken in superior sauce had boneless chicken done in a medium spicy sauce which was good in taste. Both went well with Egg Fried Rice. #Recommended Desserts Chinese Mango Pudding: The mango pudding had a pannacotta type texture and was silky, it was served along with plain milk. It was good in taste. #Recommended Lai Wong Bao – Steamed Custard Buns : Bao done with custard filling was excellent in taste. The Bao were super soft and fluffy, it had the perfect texture and had custard filling which was not too sweet. It was well steamed. #Musthave Overall: Service was prompt and restaurant was hygienic. All dishes were superb on presentation level. Pricing might appear to be on higher side, but the food and hospitality is top class. The dishes that were served to us were not too strong on flavors yet they impressed me a lot. I have never been to china nor have any idea about the authentic or traditional Chinese or Cantonese cuisine but the food that was served to us was no where close to the Chinese food that we have in most the multi cuisine restaurants which probably serve the indianized version of the Chinese food and you will definitely notice it immediately. Special mention to the hospitality from Mr Karki and Mr Gourang from service team, they made sure we had a memorable evening. Thanks a lot Shantanu for the invite and team Royal China for hosting us. Royal China is an in-house Chinese restaurant in Westin Hotel, Pune. True to their name. The service is royal. The Chinese cuisine served here is fantastic. One of the best places amongst Pune for Chinese and South East Asian cuisine. The ambiance is classy and comfortable. The cutlery is beautiful. The service is quick. The staff was attentive. I had been here a few days back for dinner. It was an awesome experience. They have good options for vegetarians too. Drinks- They served us some bar man special cocktails. Firstly we Started with Veg clear soup. It was simple but healthy at the sane time. *Starters* Truffle Oil & edamame dumplings- this was mouth melting. sesmi potato toast - smashed potatoes toast covered with sesame seeds. Delicious *Recommended* spinach dumplings- money bag shaped dumplings filled with spinach and cheese. Tasty. crispy corn Szechuan style- One of the best crispy corn I ever had. Must try. Veg chilli garlic noodles- This has lots of veggies. It was good in taste. Try eating with the chopsticks to get that Chinese feel. Veg Lotus leaf rice- the quantity was good. The taste was authentic. They served sauces with every dish which were Tofu & asparagus soya chilli sauce Royal China veg yellow bean sauce Overall the quality and quantity of food were perfect.

Last night I ordered hakka noodles with mixed vegetable. The taste of noodles was excellent and quantity was great as well.

Food is awesome. And the ambience is so beautiful and elegant.
