The best continental food in Pune is served right here at Polka Dots. That is what I believe after coming here for past 2 years now. Keep it up guys.
The place was a saviour for the hungry birds like us at 11pm in the night. The breeze with their open seating and good staff was just the perfect thing for a Sunday dinner.
We ordered cold coffee, Primavera (pink sauce spaghetti pasta) and Filipinos barbeque chicken.
The food was tasty, good quantity and well presented. The staff was courteous and had a quick service. Would definitely recommend this place for a quick bite on your next visit to kalyani nagar.
This place has survived never ending road construction for years! Open setup, unfortunately curtained to protect from dust and other things. Great food, friendly staff. I must have tried my first pomfret here ages ago :). In one of my recent visits we tried hummus naan and tortillas among other things. Kids and adults enjoyed meals. They have some nice desert also. Worth a visit.
I have been to this place good food and service ,tried some of the dishes which were fabulous ,staff are well mannered and friendly ,keep up the good work ,will visit again for sure cheers
LOVE the food- always consistent. Super friendly and well-mannered staff. Hasn't disappointed a single time since I first visited four years ago. Added bonus- they're hygiene conscious. YAY!
An open air restaurant with no frills. Reasonably clean though they could do something about flies. Visited here for Sunday lunch during monsoon. So it is lovely weather.
Apart from me, everyone was a vegetarian so had to be a limited fare. So ordered Phad Thai, Thai Green curry and sole fish. Excellent quality, subtle tastes in the preparations. I wish they hadn't batter fried the fish. A simple grill would have been better. We ended the meal with the traditional Brownie. Delicious is the word.
Would recommend everyone to visit.
I had a dinner date here. The ambiance is nice and airy. I don't know why people need AC 24x7 unless it's mad hot. Service is all right. No complaints.
We ordered for Vietnamese chicken, garlic fish, swiss rosti decker chicken.
Swiss rosti was the best dish because it was sans chilly and we could feel the flavours.
Rest were mildly spicy but drove me mad. Thankfully on request the server gave me a bowl of curd good fellow !! I just earnestly wished people wouldn't kill the flavours with chillies. Never made any sense.
Overall It was all right. Slow but service was cool.
I actually don't see why this joint should feature in meat cravings. Portions are closely okay for two people.
~
We always have that one food joint that never fails you. The food is orgasmic, the service is awesome and it is usually tops the list of your favourites!
Polka Dots - Kalyani Nagar is my poison!
As my bio suggests I can absolutely kill for cheese and anything made up of that stuff; Polka Dots for that spoils me silly 🤤
Been there 4-5 times, devoured Pastas, salads, pizzas and boy! Did it ever disappoint me? NOPE. Not a single time.
Portions have been generous, service is quick (especially when you mention that you are here during office hours), ambience is just about ok (wooden benches are not exactly comfy for my ample derrière 😬) But hey, the food more than makes up for it!
Unfortunately, the place is not exactly easy on pocket! A meal for two (a starter, 2 mains, ice tea and single dessert) can cost you around 1500-2500 bucks 😰.
So, big groups parties and regular eating-out is out (hello peasants!) Also, last time i visited i think they have reduced their portions a bit (just guessing, not sure!)
Still, when it comes to good soul food, Polka Dots will be my go-to place!
Lots of choice! I tried the Malaysian laksa which was quite delicious. Would definitely want to try out a few more things on the menu. Nice ambience, too.
Great place to hangout. The food especially the non veg items don't seem to working out for that place . The vegetarians have an amazing time both quality and quantity wise. The lasagne is one thing you don't want to miss overall it was satisfactory worth a one time try.
The food has been consistently good all the years I have been coming here. Quick service. Good place for a family lunch, if you have children.
The chef recommends are really good in continental and try the Vietnamese chicken soup.
Had lovely chicken noodle soup which was a meal in itself. Bland but filling. This was followed with some lip smacking mutton curry and plain naans.
The only drawback was the open air seating with no ac.
Decent food. Must try the Vietnamese noodle soup and fish and chips. Not a great dessert menu and the Ambience could be better, but worth a visit.
Amazing place and consistent through the years this place seldom fails ! The butter chicken and thai curry are the only 2 things we order here and are seriously drool worthy ! must try if not already
Firstly about the ambience..the ambience its like a nice comfy restaurant..the only down side being that there is no AC (but it was pretty cool during the heat of the afternoon)
The food is very tasty..The menu offers more variety to non vegetarians but vegetarians to have sufficient choices.
Contrary to normal belief, the menu has Indian cuisines as well.
I had gone during lunch hours with my wife. We tried the vegetable Lasagne and the Italian veg Cacciatore.
The lasagne was simply delicious, its the reason i have come back again to this place
The saffron cheddar rice served in the Cacciatore lacked a bit of the flavour, but the overall dish was pretty good.
A bit overpriced for the quantity served, as it one dish is usually catered to one person's needs.. But overall the experience is pretty good and must visit for good lovers..
Amazing place for continental food.
Tried many items, all of them tasted amazing. Rates are ok as well.
Best is the sole fish. Must try for all conti lovers.
I have been to Polka dots before but this time I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the food they served. The penne alfredo pasta was no where close to what it is supposed to be. The sauce was yellow not white and smelled too buttery. The grilled sole was nice with a mild sauce. The mashed greens with potato was a disaster. The walnut brownie was too dense. If I am spending over Rs 1000 for a meal for two, I would prefer other restaurants for European or Italian fare.
Visited this place on a Friday evening with office buddies. It's located just beside Trump Towers in Kalyani Nagar. We ordered Potato wedges,Buffalo Chicken wings,Traditional Roast Chicken,Veg Lasagne and Chicken Lasagne.
I must say the Potato wedges are by far the best you can get around. Buffalo Chicken wings is kinda their signature dish and rightfully so as it was quite flavorsome and tender.Traditional Roast Chicken was average but the accompaniments (sausages and potato wedges) were awesome. Lasagne was delightful as well.I would highly recommend Veg Lasagne over chicken though.
The service is top notch but the ambiance doesn't match the right side of the menu, but the food definitely does :-)
Simple yet decent ambience. Unlike, many other eating joints in the town they dont have never ending menu. Their menu is quite simple and ample.
Prices and quantities goes hand in hand and the staff is very courteous and prompt in acting to your requests.
Overall a good place to visit and enjoy limited yet fantastic cuisines/dishes at a competitive rate.
Keep up the good work team.

After a long visit to pune I finally got to visit this place. I heard about the wings from a lot of people so thought of giving it a try. The Ice tea served here is "The Best" I have ever had till date. The flavour is just outstanding. When the Wings arrived they were served with in house mayo but did not seem special but to my surprise they are Outstanding. The flavour of the Barbeque Sauce which is made in-house is something to live for. The plating needs to improve, although will go again and again only for the wings.
Finally got a chance to visit this place after months of waiting and it was all worth it. Tried their filipinos barbeque chicken, traditional roast chicken and schnitzel chicken. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. The barbeque chicken was tender and juicy and was served with some peanut sauce which tasted really good. Coming to the main course, chicken schnitzel came with fries and salad leaves. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The layer of sauce it was served with went perfectly with it. The roasted chicken came with chicken sausage, wedges, bread, boiled vegetables and two hot sauces. The chicken on the plate was skinned and didn't have any taste. Even the sauces provided couldn't be of any help but the sausage and wedges were really good.
This place is not new for puneri ppl.Never disappoints with its taste and presentation. A very small joint but value for money to enjoy the meal.
Very nice place. Value for money... Good food.. Perfect for family dinners.. Just that the place is less for seating... Ambience can be better..
Sit outside, enjoy the view with cool breeze flowing and have a good white sauce pasta !!! A very good restaurant with limited seats, so do turn up early if you want to enjoy a good dinner.
This establishment never fails to amuse you with its delicious food and selection of pop tracks. Amazing paatas prepared with delightful herbs and ingredients. The baked lasagne is thick, heavy and delicious. The intercontinental menu is filled with true european culinary dishes like Austrian Chicken Schnitzel, Hungarian Goulash, German, English and Polish delights. Do try Fish and Chips prepared and served in true english pub style. Chicken Schnitzel was also very well cooked. The Greek Salad ia the healthy options for ppl on diets. Then there is ample choice of mocktails. Do try their ice tea, it's very refreshing and goes well with the food than any other mocktails. Only sad part is I failed to try the deserts which includes the likes of Italian Tiramisu and several European desserts. Polka Dots never disappoints, be it the food or the cordial staff happily obliging with end number of photos.
Good food but very limited menu.i have been to many continental restaurants menu was bit better. indian food in the menu was not that good. mocktails menu is limited and not that good also. Can be better and little overpriced for the taste.
Polka Dots is a friendly multi cuisine cafe which serves a variety of cuisines ranging from Continental, Italian, Mexican, Oriental, Thai and Indian cuisine. The Thai dishes and Pasta are most popular. Polka Dots has some excellent desserts on their menu - their Tiramisu is superb.
The airy seating gives the place a friendly ambience and makes Polka Dots ideal for meals with friends and family
(They don't serve alcohol but yeah they do have iced tea pitcher *Cheers*)
Polka Dots is restaurant which offers you a variety of cuisines from Middle eastern to oriental to Indian etc. They have a lot of options to satisfy your palate. Been here quite a few times and have always liked the food. Their Death by chocolate is amongst my favourite desserts.
Your friendly neighbourhood restaurant with some GREAT tasting lip smacking dishes. The portions are really nice and the staff is super friendly. Their Ice tea is one of the best in Pune. Along with their crème brulee. I've been here countless times and it continues to be the place we opt for whenever we're out and want to stay in our safety net of restaurants that guarantee a good meal.
One of my mains in kalyani nagar. Its a great dine out with zero risk. My personal recommendation is their mexican and also the desserts are yumm. The staff is welcoming.... The service is quick..... The ambiance is cool enough..... Just what you need to head out.
The experience is always pleasant at either of the outlets. I have been visiting the one at Kalyani Nagar recently.
The food is awesome. I am always stuck at continental or chef specials.
The treat never ends without death by chocolate.
Ice tea is something which I am not fond of, but my friends settle for a pitcher.
Have been to this place for multiple lunches with colleagues. They serve some decent food. However they are supper expensive. You would expect to spend atleast 600 per person for a meal at this place.
Have tried most of the menu and never had issues with the food or service.
Overall a decent place to eat in case you and your friends would like to try variety of cuisines under one roof.
Had a great experience at this place. Had ordered for chicken lasagna, caribbean bbq chicken and a pitcher of lemon ice tea. i had no complaints with the food or service. The food was delicious and the service was good enough. My thanks to the chef at Polka Dots (Kalyani Nagar) for giving me a great experience.
Loved the food of Polka Dots. The service was pretty impressive, even though we exceeded more then the closing time, the waiters made us feel pretty comfortable.
The sit out faces a dusty road but with a green space between the sit out and the road making you feel pretty relaxed in the restaurant.
I would recommend people living in Pune to give it a try. 👍🏻
Food is pretty darn good, just like the Aundh branch, which remains the benchmark! :) Most or all the dishes on the menu are really good which is a tribute to the chef(s) behind Polka Dots. The only thing I worry about when going to the Kalyani Nagar branch is that the tables are just too close to the road/mud outside. Maybe it's just me (or not)!
They have a good selection of food in their menu. The starters are good. Their presentation of food is also pretty unique. Would suggest if you want to have finger food.
The food was best amongst the class nice service .the embience was very neat and clean .the only thing was disappointing were the flies such a good place to hang out.it would be great if you all have that soughted out .
Polka Dots has a great ambience since it is slightly open, and has nice plants and a good breeze coming through.
A vast menu, but lesser options for vegetarians. The ice tea there is one of the best I've had in Pune!
We ordered Pasta in Pink Sauce and Ravioli, both of which was really yummy. The garlic bread accompanied it really well.
The quantities can be improved a bit. But all in all, friendly staff and good food, do visit.
The best part is the service and the open seating. They have a range of cuisine, but it was too late before I realized that I too should have opted for Indian.
I tried a range of cuisines, and the Kulcha was the best of all. The tomato basil soup was also good. The freshly baked warm bread served with the soup was an added delight.
Chinese potato chilli beans was not as good coz of the very poor tasting potatoes. Otherwise the chef had tried to manage it well.
The Italian Veg Cacciatore also didn't impress much. The quantity was also a let down. The Fruit Fantasy Mojo was made of artificial flavors. Don't try.
The only cuisine worth trying is Indian coz that's what I saw served on most tables.
A nice place for a relaxed evening in open air.
Had a really great experience...reached late around 10.30pm,close to their closing time...but still very welcoming..their service was very good..Nd ravioli is must try! 👌

Is an all time favourite purely for the variety they offer in their menu. They have something for every palette. Amazing value for money , with each dish plated up so beautifully , to set your mouth watering just looking at it. I personally love their onion rings, chicken stroganoff, Australian fried chicken, The Spanish fish steak with mashed potatoes , Thai curries , chicken terriyaki and the regular North Indian food as well. I've been guilty of never making it to the dessert menu, after being stuffed with the mains ! But I'm sure they have some great desserts for a sweet tooth too. One visit here will leave you longing for more each next visit for sure. Great place for a family meal or with a group of your friends. Inspite of no AC they have a cooling system with water sprinklers which makes it a perfect outdoor experience. Akanksha Kanojia Pranita Nagdive Dheeraj Chowdhary
The restaurant deserved a 4 rating! But minus 0.5 for delay in delivering food exceptionally late to the table.
The place packs in a decent punch when it comes to the ambience for a decent dine in.
Have to compliment them for the quality and taste of food prepared by the chef's.
I ordered a barbeque buffalo chicken wings for the starter and it was a heavenly preparation to be honest. Everything was just so right about it and was a perfect starter dish.
It was served with an amazing white cream mayo which tasted and complimented the starter really well.
I felt the quantity was bit less for the price charged but then certainly considerable considering the taste of it.
Secondly the chicken tikka masala was good in quantity and served with many boneless pieces of chicken. It tasted well and had the perfect flavours as required.
The price of indian breads are sky high! And don't know what for but still, its one place the restaurant must be earning a lot from :)
All in all it was a great eating experience here and surely would want to visit again.
Italian for Indian tongue. The flavours are really nice and fresh and tasty. Service is fine. Recommended for weekend morning brunch in non summer seasons. Desserts are also good.
Recently visited this place for the second time. Ordered for a Thai chicken salad, Spanish grilled sole steak and Jamaican black pomfret. All the dishes were great with decent portions. And the accompaniments with each of them were good too. I wish they would improve on the seating and do away with the curtain they have at the entrance. That's a big put off.
I m speechless, completely baffled the food here is just amazing. U just cannot afford to miss d food here.Be it the service or the taste, dey do not give u a chance to complain. The devilled mushrooms, bruscheta, rissoto, pasta, lasagne are just toothsome. I just ate double my capacity so I guess u can imagine d taste. I kno ur mouth might be watering so just go there n grab a meal.
After a fun evening of shopping we headed to my favourite place in the city Polka Dots. A colleague of mine introduced me to this lovely place around 6 years back. And since then I have fallen in love with it. We have had everything from birthdays, anniversaries, farewells to gossip sessions here. This is my go to place and I literally crave for their food.
It has lovely wooden furniture and the palm trees right outside make it beautiful. We always love their iced teas. It's perfect. They also have seasonal mocktails which are good.
My all time recommendations for this place would be- Mexican Quesadillas, Deviled Mushrooms, Chicken Teriyaki, Mushroom soup, Ravioli, Lasagne, Pastas and Roast Chicken. If you love Indian food (just like my husband) then definitely try their chicken kolhapuri and Hyderabadi Achari Murg with jeera rice. Also the chicken biryani is mildly flavored and nice.
Definitely one cannot miss out their fabulous desserts. I can vouch for death by chocolate, Belgian chocolate mousse and Creme Bru Lee. For everything that comes on the table is beautifully presented.
This is a must go place for good food with reasonable prices. Can't wait to go again and again.

Polka Dots has been on my list for a while, after hearing lots of praises about their famous 'Death by Chocolate' !!
The ambience is very normal cafe- like, with wooden seats (Mind you! No cushions on the chairs which made it difficult for me to sit longer ;) ) Coming to food now- Personally, I feel there could have been more options which suit Indian taste buds. I did try their starters and Biryaani which were good. Death by Chocolate' was mesmerizing! It's completely covered in chocolate so much that you can't even see the plate surface !!! If you are a chocolate lover and have sweet tooth, then this dessert will make your day !!
Staff is okay, nothing exceptional. This place is highly priced, as compared to their food quality and ambience.
Well i am all praises for this place.. it was nice and spacious, please keep it the same way.
Since the time my classteacher had told me about this place, it was definitely on my to go list..
We ordered kakori kabab, chicken wings and indonesian in our maincourse.. all dishes were up to the mark.
I would like to mention that there are many restauranters who serve up to the mark dishes. But this place stood out for me, the reason- presentation..
The deserts (banana pie and icecream with brownie) were simple yet delicious..
Overall a good experience
I still remember that day we were staying in Hyatt and were dining outside every night. Well, we ended up in Polka Dots, ordered some Paneer sabji, dal and butter naans.
I have no idea whether we were too hungry or it was literally their cooking style.. that I felt every flavor of butter and wheat and paneer and almost everything.
It wasn't just me.. and 2 of my friends who got flattered with food. I just said, i could happily die now. You must be thinking I'm joking. Maybe, but No.
But I haven't noticed that taste after that. It must have been some diff day.
A perfect lunch is what this place offered.
A semi open setting which was covered by large drapes of cloth a comfy sitting area.
Well this was for the general surrounding and now coming to the food this time I ordered for Original Jalapeño and Cheese dynabites and 2 portions
of Lamb keftadas.
The food was absolutely yummy and decorated well too.
The lamb keftadas were juicy and succulent and the portions was good. Also a naan like thing was given with it which was filling and tasty.
The jalapeño cheese dynabites were exceptional too.Sooo cheesy with a perfect salsa on the side and I HAVE to recommend this.Complete 10/10.
At the end me and my friend were literally holding our stomach and couldn't move.
Not to forget their staff was very polite and courteous and made our visit a happy one.
Food - 9.5/10
Ambience - 8/10
Price - 8/10
Please note I've also tried their Ice Tea on a previous occasion and it's a must try if your looking for a nice cool drink.
We ordered for chicken lasagne which was simply amazing😍, spaghetti in white sauce, penne in red sauce ( this is the first time I liked any pasta in red sauce) and phad Thai (I liked it though not a fan of Thai food) and 2 desserts.. The food was delicious and even though it was a parcel it tasted very good!
My first experience was really bad here when I tried the Dahi Kebabs but the second was okish. Tried the Carribean Bbq Chicken starter and Ice Tea pitcher. The one thing I like about this place is the outside sitting arrangement and how you can enjoy Pune weather here. The staff is friendly and microwaved the starter thrice on my request.
Food : 3.5/5
Ambience : 4/5
Service : 4:5
Polka Dots is a "Must" place whenever I'm in Pune. Just love the food and the fresh breeze. The food is insanely good. However, never liked the Deserts that was a "poor choice" on my part but overall I love everything.
Who would think that this small place could serve up such a sumptuous meal. Thisbplace gets full quickly on a weekend. People just kept pouring in. All we could notice is well presented food being served up at all the tables.
Well, I tried the the frutty mocktail. Was good. Nice n chilled. Tangy and sweet.
Had the traditional chicken roast . The portion is really good. Serverd with salad leaves, potatoe wedges and seasoned veggies. The dish was good as all ingredients were fresh. Chicken was not over cooked or rubbery. The wedges were so crispy n hot! The seasoned veggies werent great. Overall good enough but not out of the world. Perhaps a little flavourful gravy would do the trick.
Service was prompt.
Would like to give it a try again.
We wanted a variety on menu so planned our Sunday dinner at Polka Dots, Kalyaninagar. Not a very impressive ambiance, as it offers a small sit-out that is open to the air, summers could be a challenge with the hot wave and dusty winds. We started with a bowl of Vietnamese Chicken Noodle Soup which was a great start that had chicken broth with noodles, mushrooms and a ting of hot chilly. We decided o enjoy our dinner with ice tea so ordered that along with Fish & Chips. I must say this combo is one of the best in town. This kick started our taste buds so decided to try the Fresh Water Sole Valentine which was perfectly grilled fillets of sole fish which went very well with the green peas mash and tomato olive sauce. Also tried their Swiss Rosti deckers grilled chicken which did not really sync with the menu so far as the chicken was half cooked and the dish dressed with unnecessary salad leaves. Not worth the buck! Finished our dinner with their specialty dessert, Tiramisu a cheese mousse that's topped with some coffee. A tad expensive dessert for the feeble quantity they offer. Takeaways, well, Fish & Chips, Ice Tea and the lovely presentation.
so when you're out with this group of friends deciding which place to go and what to order is something that always puts you in a fix.
well, i'd definitely recommend places like polka dots for situations like these.
Its menu has a variety ranging from the normal indian food to mediterranean and european food. so there are dishes to suit everyone's type.
Fish N chips, jamaican citrus black pomfret for all you sea food lovers.
chicken schnitzel for all those who love a little crunch
also, tried their biryani.. Delicious !
A nice breezy ambience in the evenings really goes along well with your food.
You may also ask their waiters to recommend you some good dishes depending upon what you're in mood for !
When I went to this place for the first time I was totally surprised after looking at the menu. I usually avoid looking at the right side of the menu ( I order cheaper dishes 😋) but this time I was happy, everything was well under my budget... ambience is simple yet pleasant. Staff is very polite and helpful.
My favourite standard menu is Mojito and Fish and chips. I have tried fish and chips at different restaurants but this place is at the top amongst all of them. Great presentation, juicy fish, crunchy chips and perfect dip! You can not expect anything better than this. Other dishes are also unique, I also like Roastl chicken dishes..Hummus and naan is also fun. overall really good, value for money restaurant serving tasty European food.
Polka dots was a place suggested by multiple people.
We were two of us and wanted to eat light and the best thing that was told to me was Chicken Tikka masala and some breads to accompany that.
The Ambience:
The restaurant over looks a main road, they have a open kitchen. Smiling faces welcoming us, I felt good about this place-mainly because of my company :)
Weather played a major role they had efficient coolers in place and there was also fresh breeze with it.
The service:
The restaurant wasn't too crowded when we entered. The service was prompt I would say.
The Food:
As told to me, the food was very tasty, I enjoyed every bite of it. With the quick service it added bonus points to it.
Thanks!
Good authentic food , Italian Veg. Cacciatore is just amazing, served with paneer & mushrooms.Order extra rice with it & don't forget to order Ice tea ,it's the best in Pune.
Also try the ice cream with diced mango for deserts.
This place has a variety of cuisines but I like it for it's north Indian dishes. Personally I'm in love with their murg tikka masala and dal makhani. I've heard that they serve lovely European dishes too which I shall try soon.
Service is really nice.
It's a little expensive considering I go by a student's budget but then once a while I say this place is good for.
Very good food. Favorites are the mustard and teriyaki chicken, and the Vietnamese chicken noodle soup. Good deserts too. The food has never disappointed.
Been a regular at Pokla dots since the past few years. Don't know any place in pune which serves better Chicken lasagna than this place. I also like the fish and chips they serve.
They introduced something called nanchos last year which I really liked.
The staff is courteous and the waiters always recommend something good to eat.
People talk a lot about the Nasi Goreng served here, but I've eaten better at other places.
The place is breezy and the wooden chairs add a fine touch to the decor. The ambience is perfect for a casual dining restaurant.
Come down here with friends, order some lasagna, fish n chips and an ice tea tower and enjoy your evening :)
Good place. Decent price.Average ambience.
This place is located near Bishops School and could easily be missed. It's a small place with decent setup. My very first visit here & I'm really impressed! The menu is attractive and had all my favorites 😀
Ordered the Rogan Paneer gravy with butter naan. Well cooked and tasty.
For desert i ordered the Blueberry cheesecake. Was a disappointment as the base wasn't crip and had turned soggy almost like a soggy spong cake. The blueberry cheese filling was ok and lacked the smoothness & texture.
In all a nice experience and would definitely visit again.
It's one of the best joint for satisfying Italian,Oriental, Mexican cuisine cravings in the silent corner of kalyani nagar. The menu is not vast but every know dish from the above mentioned cuisines are served here.
The place has a very welcoming ambience and have wooden benches n tables which are quite comfortable. The kitchen is open and you can get a glimpse of what goes into your dish from your seat. The staff is quite courteous and helpful.
We ordered: Ice Tea, Tom Kha soup,Grilled King Prawns salsa Verde and paprika Chicken.
Ice tea: just one sentence "it's the best in town!". You should not miss to oder it.
Tom Kha: it's a thai preparation the based on ginger n coconut broth, the coconut gives it's a great creamy texture and the basil on the top goes well with the mild gingery flavour. The soup is bit sweeter.
Grilled King Prawns salsa Verde: The prawns were properly marinated in grilled to perfection. The grilled Prawns tasted great with salsa Verde with generous splash of olive oil. The gratin potatoes were properly baked and went great as a side dish with the grilled Prawns.
Paprika Chicken: It's a Hungarian delicacy and a spicy one which can be taken from the name. The chicken was sauteed properly with tomatoes n peppers and were served with sauted veggies. The dish is also served with a bread loaf,do not hesitate to try the bread with the paprika sauce or you would really miss the best part of the dish. The sauce is great and quite hot good for spicy food lovers.
Overall the place is great and if you have cravings for multi cuisine food then this place should be on your food radar.
If you wish to have Baked/Grilled Fish in Mediterranean/European Style, no place can satisfy your taste-buds like this one.
'Spanish Grilled Rive Sole Steak' and 'Fresh Water River Sole Valentine' are my all-time-favourite.
Good food along courteous staff, makes a visit to this place a memorable one.
Yummy food, great range of dishes from Indian to continental. Continental serving is a little scarce. Indian breads are the way to go. Great ambience. Prices range from fair to a bit high. Must go with family or colleagues.
Good food. Priced decently. The seating may be a little bit cramped and we were seated right next to the kitchen.
I had the Pink Sauce Pasta and my friend had Fish and Chips. Most appetising plate of Fish n'Chips ever!
They have pitchers of iced tea which you can pair with some really yummy starters.
Drop by if you're in Kalyani Nagar. Make sure to call in advance though, the place can get packed on the weekends.
Polka dots is an all time favourite. The food here is a mix of varied cuisine and what you get is impeccable dishes. This review is specially for the Laksa which I had this place. It was very good and the aftertaste is still there 😋. Some other dishes which I love in this place is the Chicken Kolhapuri, Butter chicken and the lovely mock tails served. Definitely a place worth a visit...
Very good food and service
Lamb keftadas and kokori kebabs are worth every penny spent
Quantity should be increased as portions served are for 1 person only .....
A good, subtle, simple place for some really good Continental food!
The service was a bit slow, but the food was "yum yum."
The chicken schnitzel has a delicious sauce and is a must try if u visit this place!!
The Chicken Lasagne is also a good try!
Not too bland, definitely not spicy, they know how to make some real good food!!!
Polka Dots is one restaurant that has never disappointed me. Comfortable seating and food that soothes your taste buds as well as the soul. The death by chocolate pastry is to die for.... Totally worth it.
Italian cravings? Nearby Kalyani Nagar? Mediocre budget? Also want relaxing and appreciating service? If you have questioned yourself enough, then its time to visit Polka Dots.
Ambience: Clean. Not high on interior design and an open kitchen. Come rains and Polka Dots should be included in the visit. (4/5)
Service: Main course (2 dishes) took around half hour to arrive. A little disappointment but waiters were prompt. Gentle, smiley and heartily they served.
Food: 2 main dishes and 1 dessert. Fettucine in primavera sauce and Ravioli di Casa. I love fettucine and the dish was spot on. Fresh veggies, the sauce was perfectly balanced. Ravioli was good, if not best. The dish was dry as there were more ravioli pockets then the sauce. Both the dishes were good but could have been better. Creme Brule was the star. Oh so creamy and orangy beneath the cream. Definately worth ordering!
P.S: the review is as 'simple' as the dishes. Thats the word which bests suits Polka Dots. If you pay a visit after reading this, do order the Creme Brule. (Or othet desserts of your choice😉).
I have been to both the outlets of polka dots, visited kalyani nagar outlet for lunch on a weekday. So there was no crowd. The staff is very nice and courteous. We received some special attention too for our specific demands. I tried mozzarella fingers for starter, which was served beautifully and tasted good. We also ordered veg lasagne, which had only mashroom spinach and eggplant. So if you are a mashroom lover this is your dish. Unfortunately, none of us were and we were soo sick of it that we ordered Primavera penne pasta without mashroom. It is a red sauce pasta with a balanced amount of veggies, tangyness and spices. This dish was very good. Italian veg cacciatore was the best dish of all. A spicy red gravy with saffron flavored rice is a unique combination. In all the food was good. A nice place to visit if you love Italian cuisine.
Awesome buffalo wing and ice tea.The staff are were good...........................................................................................
It’s a one of my favorite continental restaurant in Pune. Im going there from many years and whatever food I have tested it was always excellent. Ambiance is descent, with mostly sport channel on (which I love). I am going there from many years and every time I visit I get same taste. They serve one of best chicken wings. Its one of our favorite hangout of my group because they serve best dishes for Indian and continental.
If you do not like continental dish then you can try Kolhapuri Chicken.
My Favrite – Chicken Wings, Paprika Chicken (wth Mashed Potato), Green Salad
Ambiance – 3.0
Taste – 5.0
Service – 4.5
Cost – 3.5
Amazing quaint place for wonderful food!
Had Pizza, Cheese poppers both were do good.
In drinks do do try Punjabi Shikanji
Polkadots (earlier oopsa daisies) is one of the coziest cafes in Kalyani nagar. It’s generally not very crowded so you can visit it any time of the day and enjoy a small bite.
I feel like this place doesn’t get the attention it deserves. It’s a bakery, restaurant, cafe, hangout place all in one.
If you want to have a casual small bite with your coffee or if you are in a mood for Italian food, or if you are craving some North Indian delicacies, Polkadots offers it all.
They have a very nice and spacious outdoor seating area and a few indoor tables as well, if you prefer a bit quieter time.
Their selection of cakes, cookies, pastries and other deserts is very mouthwatering. And because of how tasty they are, very often these deserts go out of stock.
We often visit here past 9pm and it’s very nice and comfortable during that hour of the day.
The staff is nice, polite and friendly and the whole place has very positive and calming vibes.
A must visit place for anyone looking for a good dining experience.
Its a great small cafe 😊, to spend some quality time with friends and family over yummy desserts. They have a good menu with pastas, pizzas, and even Indian main course dishes. A good spread of beverages and coffee. However, I love this place for their innovative desserts. Every time i go there, I see some new desserts to try and I must say all of them come out delicious and one of the best i have had in Pune. Some special mentions- Red velvet pastry and boozy tiramasu cake 😋. A must try out place👍🏻.
Our to go place for a good ,hearty and delicious food followed by some great in house baked cheesecakes and coffee..do try their Japanese Cheese cake and newyork cheesecake
A quaint little deli in one of the historically upmarket locations of Mumbai. We had been with our friends as it was strongly recommended. The place gives u a feeling of relaxation and you can spend the entire afternoon having a slow meal and sipping your coffee. The menu is fairly simple and as close you can get to authentic fare at that price point. The Japanese cotton cheese cake although was not so great but the meerut shikanji , paprika Chicken , fried fish and chips, lasagne were very good and the portion size as well was good. I had a Ceaser Salad and while the portion was decent lettuce fresh the dressing was too runny for a Ceaser. Overall would I visit again Yes I would for the decent food and the non interfering simple and fast service. I loved the place
I visited oopsa daisy a while back and i absolutely loved everything i tried, and the best part is that you get quality food without burning a hole in your pocket. The place is very cute, has both and indoor and outdoor seating area. I highly recommend their milkshakes, pizza, baked vegetable and cheesecake. I can't wait to visit them back and try more items off their menu!
#polkadots Kalyani nagar
Last Saturday me and my son wanted spend some good time and that’s possible only with some good food (both of us are foodies so 🤷♀️😀)
Son was clear he wanted to have some cheesy and chocolaty (basically all junk 🙄) and I wanted something light.
So we decided to visit polka dots Kalyani nagar.
The menu here offers choices from continental, Asian to Indian too.
They also have a good variety of desserts, pastries and ice creams. So whatever we wanted we could get at one place .
The ambiance is refreshing, we could see customers of different age groups, from youngsters to old people.
They have indoors and outdoors sitting arrangements.
Cleanliness is something you will notice prominently.
Staff is very warm and hospitable, I got to know most of them are working there from more than 15 years, which speaks a lot about the place and also makes the environment friendly.
Though the food is the hero .
Everything we tried was good except the Swiss chocolate jar 🫙 as it was exceptionally good and I regret not having order for myself and had ask my son for every spoon 🙈🙄
But we both had good time and I am looking forward to visit again.
Amazing yummmyyyy food.
Great customer service.
They provide indoor & outdoor both seating arrangements.
Outdoor seating had beautiful ambience. It would be perfect if there wasn't traffic noice.
New review for PolkaDots:
They've revamped the whole place and made 2 in 1 shop, where you can buy cakes as well as dine in for breakfast/lunch/dinner.
Ambience is superb. Loved it 💯
Service is also good and polite attendees.
We had Frappe Mocha and Blueberry Cheesecake.
Frappe Mocha was good and Blueberry Cheesecake was not that good I'd say.
Old review for Bakers Basket:
Best shop for cakes. It's been years we are taking cakes from this shop. The taste is best and quality is good too. Cleanliness is on top. Quality years before is still intact 😍.
A short saturday night drive to Oopsa Daisy for a cup of coffee.
Nice place for a a drink and a date too. Red velvet in a jar was tasty.
Coffee had a strong taste, good enough for me.
Since it was almost closing time and dinner was done did not order much but shall visit again. Server was kind.
We went there with family for dinner. Food is average.
We had asked them to parcel whatever was left but when we got back home we found that they did not parcel everything we asked for. We spent around 4500 Rs. for dinner for 3 people.
Nice quite place to hangout with friends and family. I went there with my son. He enjoyed the buffalo chicken wings. Good food, friendly staff.
That's a cute little cafe. Food seems to be cooked with high quality ingredients.
Pretty good ambience and service. Food was also tasty just the options were not that much.
Lips smaking, tongue tantalizing and mouthwatering Food and Drinks with a friendly service is what keeps inviting all friends and pals.
Second trip after a decent trial a month ago. Had a light sandwich and juice in the first visit which was fine. On second trip expanded the range with Mexican, Arabic and Thai cuisine. Went along with friends who weren't so impressed with either quality of food or service. Speed of food delivery was pretty slow with the starters arriving after the main dish. There weren't any other patrons in the cafe so quite mysterious on what the delay was on account of. Good place for snacking on light baked stuff but needs work on the ambitious menu.
