Darios has a great brand image in Pune and is known for serving great food. It was my first visit to the Kalyani Nagar outlet. I went there a little early with the hopes of getting a decent place to sit and relax. I was not disappointed. I was amazed to see the number of delivery orders the outlet was receiving.
I chose to depend on the server to suggest food and we went ahead and had soup, bruschetta, ravioli pasta and tiramisu. The complimentary bread and the garlic herbed butter was delicious too. The only downside with the tiramisu. I hadn't expected strawberry jelly underneath the dessert and neither did i except it to be so creamy & dry. All in all the experience was great however couldn't give more than 4 stars.

Fine restaurant with fine food. Pizza, meats, pastas, and desserts are the best. They try really hard to make everything extra nice. Was some of the best food I had in Pune as a foreigner with high expectations of both food and service. If you have any problems with an order talk to management before posting a review, they are very sincere and responsive. I ate here probably 50-100 times over a year with average 700-1500 rupees orders and the food was always good to excellent and was a treat to have - no joke it was the highlight of my day, most days, as a stranger in a strange land with few comforts. My mistake is that it would often be my only meal of the day, and ordered right before closing, and I don’t speak Hindi (they do speak English too, but here Hindi seems better everywhere) and sometimes my SIM card didn’t work so I couldn’t make calls, so when there was a rare mistake I would be “hangry” (hungry-angry) due more to not eating yet and not feeling able to correct it than the small mistake made. It does help to confirm special requests by telephone if you are able. Great food and very nice people. Seasoning is excellent - slow cooked and “real” flavor. One of the best in Pune. Their other location, although veg only, is also excellent, and romantic for dates. Good for business lunches with coworkers too. Thanks for the memories. Despite being disappointed a small handful of times from minor issues with extra special requests, I really truly did appreciate all the fine cooking and work. Great memories to take home. I asked for not-spicy spaghetti. It was way spicer than usual. My stomach hurts from a few bites. I couldn’t eat it and had to throw it away. They don’t read custom requests. My last order was also wrong, I ordered no black pepper on vegetables and it was covered in it. Waste of money twice in a row now. Very disappointed. Will stop giving them my money. Throwing away food is a sin. I just need to eat 😢😭

Everything about this place is lovely.
The ambience is very warm and staff is friendly.
They have aced their Italian cuisine.
We ordered alfredo pasta and veg lasagna. Both the dishes were very well cooked.
The star of my lunch were the desserts:
- one of the best tiramisu I have tasted in the city
- nicely baked brownie with hot chocolate and vanilla

They had the Perfect dessert to end our meal with that was their Tiramisu. I am very confident if you have the actual taste of Italian food you will never go disappointed. Utterly delicious food and the ambiance is a cherry on top.
The vibes at Dario’s takes me back to Goa. Also as said there is nothing more romantic than Italian food and a glass of wine.

It's one of the trattoria famous for authentic italian food. It's a fine dining place with warm aura.
Pomodoro soup is appetizing and so are the complementory breads.
Lasagne Al Forno was not the best lasagne I have ever had. It was a tomato lasagne and too much tomato gravy took over the actual lasagne taste.

The ambience reminds you of Goa and the best thing is - some of the staff is FLUENT in ITALIAN! They assured some Italian guests with the menu really smoothly. We had the Dentice Trapanese, which is a dish with red snapper. It was cooked really well and didn't fall apart when you are it with a fork. The Puparu risotto was probably the highlight of the meal - a perfect balance of flavours. Great experience!

Good place to visit with your loved ones. Good collection of wine and very courteous staff and very surprise to us they serve non veg delicacies as well. This was our first time but in future this will be on top in our list.
I am so so so totally in love with this place. Ordered for a Risotto and indeed the best so far. They give you a free bread plate aswell, isn't that great! And the blueberry cheesecake was just the cherry on cake I would highly recommend you this place.

We enjoy going Darios but dont enjoy all the food we eat. Pizza is really nice but risotto is not my favourite. I try different one each time because i love risotto but coulnt find it yet. Service should be better too.

Suffice to say it is a foodie's delight now! Dario's Kalyani nagar has turned the corner, finally! While it always had courteous staff, the food was not exactly delicious. The new manager Manoj has brought about a remarkable difference. The food is now truly Italian and very delicate in taste. The cheese used in preparations is very very good and makes food taste particularly good!
The environment is as usual very clean, spartan and elegant including the washrooms. The paintings on the walls give a very different feel from that of other ambiences. That dinner left my guests very satisfied:)
The service needs improvement still, particularly the staff seem to forget the table and guests once the food has been served.

Ambience was nice and cozy. They have ample amount of parking space and various sitting options.
Staff was friendly. And crowd varied from age to age. We ordered cheese balls( not Italian name) which was not tasty, maybe because of the oil it was dipped in. While the pasta sauce was nice however the pasta content was thick.

This beautiful cafe is located in the calm streets of Kalyani Nagar. The ambience here is similar to those traditional Italian cafes we see and it's gorgeous. Finding a parking for the place also won't be much of a problem as they have their own parking space.
The management and service here is prompt and the staff is polite and always there to help the customers out.
Coming to the food : 1) Vola Vola : I had the chicken vola vola which was creamy herbed chicken in the perfectly cooked pastry which was so fresh and perfect delight. They also serve a mushroom one for vegetarians.
2) Gamberi Incazzati : This was a Prawns dish where the prawns were pan seared in white wine, cherry tomatoes, parsley, chilli flakes and garlic. The prawns were perfectly cooked and had a really good zesty flavors from the tomatoes and a perfect hint of spices. Perfect dish as a bar bites.
3) Dario's Pizza : This was thin crust 4 cheese pizza with fresh tomatoes , bell peppers , broccoli , onions , sundried tomatoes , black olives and red chillies. Pizzas are often labeled as a junk food but this pizza felt more like a really healthy snack rather than junk food. I just personally think that it could have been more well seasoned.
4) Penne Amatriciana : This was a Penne in red tomato sauce and a little bit cream with cherry tomatoes , chilli and Parma ham. The penne was perfectly cooked but I felt that the tomato sauce was bit too tangy in flavor and lacked a bit a seasoning. The ham was delicious but I just wish there was more quantity of ham in it.
5) Pollo Raspaglia : This was a grilled chicken breast with fresh lemon jus and buttered vegetables. The chicken was a little overcooked but the flavor on the chicken was really good. The jus and vegetables added a balance to the herby flavors of the chicken.
6) Gattò Di Ricotta : This was a Sicilian ricotta and Barley pie with orange zest and cinnamon. It's a very unusual combination of ingredients for a dessert but yet works so beautifully. This pie had flavors similar to a classic Apple pie and it was served warm. Loved the flavors.
7) Assorted Tarts : The tarts here were Tangy lemon tart , Baked Yogurt tart & Salted Caramel and Chocolate Tart. I did not personally taste the Baked Yoghurt tart but the other two tarts were beautiful. The flavors were very simple yet so yummy!! Tangy lemon tart was refreshing and the salted caramel and chocolate combination never goes wrong. The tart crust was also baked perfectly.
The drinks here are really good! My favorites were Berritalia , Electric Iced Tea , Bloody Peru.
Overall this place is really good one to go for a nice date or with your friends, family or colleagues. This place is perfect example of "Slice of Sicily in Kalyani Nagar"

When it comes to authentic Italian food, Darios is the best !!!
I am frequent visitor of Darios, Koreagaon Park. And recently visited their another outlet from Kalyaninagr. Its 3 story building, on ground floor they have both indoor and outdoor seating, first floor beautifully decorated with the paintings which are made by Dario’s himself.
On 2nd floor they have projector, books, sofa; where you can spend some quality “Me Time”. They also play French movies on Wednesdays. And on top floor its open roof where you can plan private parties, get together.

This was from mocktails section , it was totally a blast of Orange , Pineapple, Ginger, Grape juice and cinnamon flavours, Just perfect for summers.

➡️Bruschetta Classica – It was home-made bread topped with tomatoes, onion , celery , garlic and basil.Perfect appetiser to get started with. Very light, crispy and tasty.

It was beetroot based salad , it was pretty basic yet tasty.It had slices of beetroot with feta cheese and balsamic dressing .Healthy food makes me happy 😊

This was thin crust pizza, four cheese and lots of vegetables . Again this was amazing in taste.
➡️Involtini Di Zucchine.
Grilled Zucchine stuffed with roasted Mediterranean vegetables , mozzarella Parmesan cheese and tomato sauce.

➡️Tiramisu and lemon tart
We had Tiramisu and Lemon tart in desserts , both were super fresh and yummy.
After having all this we had the Coffee Shots, I must say it was Cherry on the top 😊😊😊

If you are craving for an authentic Italian meal – head to Darios. Italian food for most of us is Pizza and Pasta but there is more to this cuisine and you should try other specialities too at this place which is the flagbearer of Italian food in Pune.
I recently visited Darios Trattoria – Kalyani Nagar which is a 3 storied building offering multiple seating options. Purple entrance is so inviting!
Ground floor offers inside as well as outside seating with a bar view. First floor has walls covered by colorful paintings made by the man - Dario himself. He is the mastermind of food curated at Darios, a super chef, an artist and a writer too.
2nd floor has a library and also has a big projector. Books are perfectly sorted and sofas are placed all over so that you can enjoy reading a book with a cuppa coffee or watch movies or your favorite series on screen while eating your food and relaxing on sofa. They play French movies with English subtitles every Wednesday here.
Roof top is a nice place to host private parties.
While talking to Rebecca – Mrs. Darios – I got to know so much about Italian cuisine. They know their food really well (of course they do ;) ).
We started with mocktails – no fancy presentation but great taste. Sunburst and Bloody Peru are my personal favorites – Bloody peru has a taste of peru and pepper, sunburst is combination of 4 fruits – best to beat the summer heat.
Bruschetta Classica – true to it's name, a very classy starter. Home-made bread, crunchy on outer sides and soft inside with classy toppings of cherry tomato, celery, basils and onions.
'Tanu Sorriso' is what I loved – flaky pastry stuffed with mediterreanean veggies and parmesan, absolutely delicious! Sorriso means smile and this anti-pasti will definetly get a smile on your face.
'Bietola' had thiny sliced beetroot with feta cheese and balsamic dressing – if you want to eat something extremely healthy – this if for you.
Then we had Dario’s special pizza – healthy yet tasty. There were 4 types of cheese but not over loaded and lot of veggies which gave it a super taste without making it heavy on stomach.
Then came the main course – Spacchiusa and Involtini Di Zucchine. I loved Involtini Di Zucchine – It was grilled zucchini stuffed with parmesan, mozzarella and veggies.
Tiramisu and lemon tart were super to end the lunch.
And after so much to eat we could not do without coffee. Coffee shots were essential to digest so much 😉 and to get up from that cosy seating.

Visited Dario's, Kalyani Nagar for a lunch. As we enter the restaurant, we are amazed with the ambiance. There are lot of paintings on the wall by Dario's. Lot of open space is there. Seating is comfortable.
We tried few of the dishes here. So, here's review of them.
- Sunburst: FIrst mocktail I tried. This contains. orange, pineapple, ginger, grape juice and cinnamon. Taste was perfect, enjoyed every sip of it.
- Bloody Peru: This is another mocktail we tried. Taste was good, a hint of guava was there.
- Bruschetta Classica: Crunchy bread with chopped tomatoes, onion, celery, garlic and basil. It was crispy and tasty.
- Vola Vola: Creamy chicken, thyme and mushroom filled pastry cases. It was good. Stuffing was perfectly made.
- Gamberi Incazatti: Pan seared prawns with white wine, garlic, cheery tomatoes, chili flakes and parsley. This dish I liked the most. Prawns were fresh. Masala was crafted to perfection in entire dish.
- Dario's Pizza: This consists of fresh tomatoes, 4 cheeses, bell peppers, onions, broccoli, sun dried tomatoes, black olives and red chili. Taste was perfect. It was healthy pizza indeed.
- Funghi Porcini: Creamy rice with porcini mushrooms and Parmesan cheese. Another healthy dish. Rice was well cooked.
- Penne Amatriciana: This is chicken pasta containing perma ham cherry tomato, basil, tomato sauce, red chili with touch of cream. Taste was very good. Chicken was in good quantity.
- Pollo Raspaglia: This was grilled chicken breast. I loved it. Very nice healthy option, rich in protein. Along with chicken it contains mixed herbs.
- Tiramisu: Perfect dessert to end the meal. It was delicious.
- Assorted tart: Lemon tart was best, tasted very nice.
As I said earlier, the ambiance is perfect. They also have library on second floor and open terrace seating as well. Staff is courteous and prompt. Service is quick. We met owner Dario's wife. She was humble, had a knowledge of each and every dish along with all ingredients. It was nice meeting with her.

I am confident that as a food lover you must have come across the mention of 'Dario's' often if you dwell in Pune. The chain of restaurants is named after the owner Dario Dezio himself. Dario, who hails from Sicily (a large island of Italy), brings a confluence of both northern and southern flavours of Italy to India. Dario and his wife to be met in India and have been here since over 30 years. That's nearly the same amount of time I have been alive.
What excites me most about Darios is that there is a lot of care and love taken in everything including the ingredients, the menu, the decor, the service, etc. There is clearly an underlying passion in what they do.
The branch in Kalyaninagar, Darios Trattoria, translates to Darios Italian Kitchen, is a four tier huge restaurant. The groundfloor has a bar and both indoor and outdoor seating. The second floor, has the main dining area which is comfortable and with a lot of personal touches with paintings including the ones made by Dario. The third floor resembles a living room with a library where anyone can just hang, read, spent peaceful time with or without anyone. The fourth floor is the rooftop, which is exclusive for parties and other larger events.
The food is as authentic as it gets. For most Indians, Italian food is Pasta and Pizza. Dario's breaks the convention and brings to the table italian dishes which are famous all over the world, including tortellini,risotto, classic bruschetta, Sorriso, etc. My favourite was the pollo raspaglia, grilled chicken breast with a buttery garlicky jus and assorted veggies.
Yes, the cost of food is on the higher side but in return you not only get excellent food, with imported and authentic organic ingredients, you also get a very high level of service and an unforgettable experiance.
I recommend Darios Tratorria to anyone who loves Italian food. It is Italian in its true sense. Buon appetito.
While i really liked the food here, but the menu seems a tad bit limited compared to Dario’s Koregaon park, especially the pasta and ravioli section. However the food still tastes equally good, the staff is really courteous, and the place is perfect to take along your furry friends

Yesterday I have visited to Dario's kalyani Nagar new branch of KP Darois. We had asparagus soup, pedalino salad, Pollo raspaglia and dentice trapanese... which was very delicious...the server ( Bheem) gave the good suggestion on food..

Went here unplanned for a dinner with a friend. I have been a huge fan of Dario's in koregaon park so thought of trying the new outlet in Kalyani nagar too. The ambience is amazing perfect for a date night the music is good too goes well with the ambience.
Since we were only 2 people we ordered only 2 dishes ravioli and margherita pizza. To be honest when the ravioli it didn't looked that appetising but it changed my view totally once I tasted it. Bang on tasty and delicious. Also, one can never go wrong with margherita pizza which was amazing as well. They also serve you initially assorted breads with Olive oil and dips. Loved the food and ambience. But, they can work on some personal skills as the staff was not that friendly.

Nice place for a candle light dinner with your love one, but the place is not crowded. Service was good. Overall a good experience.

The food is fabulous. The ham and sausage pizza was too good. Forgot the name of the chicken cooked in aribiatta and white sauce but that too was amazing. The mojito was icing on the cake.
Must visit for the great tasting legendary pizzas that they serve.
This restaurant has easily become the best Italian restaurant in town for me.. i recommended it to my colleagues for lunch one afternoon n we all were pleasantly surprised by the ambience, the artwork , the Italian vibes and most importantly the mouth watering Italian food 😋! They even have an Italian thali! We loved their Nachos, white sauce pasta, risotto, pizza, red sauce pasta, cheesecake, brownie and mock tails.. im definitely visiting again!
A great italian eatery. Lovely ambience. For starters had the fried mushrooms and the kingfish fish cakes which were just superb. For the main course had the fusili pesto , stuffed tortellini and a pizza which was just awesome. All in all a great dining experience and would definitely recommend to others and would go there again
Dario's serves among the best Italian and Mexican cuisine in Pune. I love the starters such as the Nachos with some delectable red wine. This fine dining space has some very tasty Italian dishes as well as pizzas for veg as well as non-vegitarians. I would be ever ready for a dining experience at Dario's.
