Review Garden Vada Pav Centre - Pune

Indraneel Bapat
Garden Vadapav Center is mid sized vadapav and snack joint in camp area. The price of vadapav is bit unusual, but fair considering the quantity. It is one of the few popular food joints where you dont need to wait long just to get your order placed. The only off thing is ambience as there is no seating place and table stands are very limited.

Garden Vadapav is one of the best Vadapav eateries of the town. There's always a rush in the eatery to have a bite of the lip smacking Vadapav. It's a simple Vadapav with thick potato Vada and with onions and green coriander chutney spread inside the Pav. The green chutney is the USP of Garden Vadapav as it's different from the other Chutneys as it's a bit on the sweeter side. We also get the besan chooras and chillies as a side kick of the Vadapav. All in all the taste of the Vadapav is excellent, it's just that there's a lot of Rush in the eatery and people have to wait in queue in order to buy the Vadapav. Taste - Excellent Atmosphere - There's a crowd all the time Vadapav cost - Rs. 20

Garden Vadapav Center is the most famous place to have vada pav in Pune. The vada pav tasted good.
nitin bende
This is the most famous wada pav center in Pune having multiple different options as well. The taste of wada pav was awesome. They also provide small chunks of wada remainings which enhance your experience. You can also try masala taak and kharvas here. You can find lot of crowd as it is in market place. Limited road side parking is available. Suggestions not to go by four wheeler.

Pune's famous Vada pav is a must-try for food enthusiasts visiting the city. It's the tastiest Vada pav I've ever had. Don't forget to try their flavorful masala taak too. The prices are incredibly reasonable, considering the excellent quality and taste. Keep in mind that this place is always bustling, and finding parking for a car can be quite challenging due to the narrow road
Always a way
Legendary Vada pav in pune in budget, it's already an iconic place worth all the hype and wait. Remember parking cars is tricky so going in rush hour.
Arjun Rajendran
Vada pav was superb👌👌 Vada is so big as compared to regular. The road is crowded and it's a small road. Avoid bringing four-wheelers to that place or park other side and come and enjoy hot superb vadapav😋

There were a couple of other garden vadapav centers with the same red colour board on the way, not sure if they were branches or imitation. However, this one is slightly more big. Service is super quick. Pricing is very fair. It is a roadside eatery with a few high tables on the opposite side of the road- still not very clean to stand around. There’s drinking water available. The food is very hot, fresh and tasty. The we tried the vadapav and a custard made from fresh milk. On the whole, definitely a must-visit place while in Pune to get one’s dose of vadapav :)

⭐⭐⭐⭐ - 4 Stars I recently visited Garden Vadapav Centre and had a great experience! They offer one of the best Vadapav's in Pune. The Vadapav comes with delicious onion, chura, and flavorful green chutney. Highly recommended for Vadapav lovers!

The size of Vada was big and too hot to eat. But one should try atleast once.

The Garden Vadapav Center is a delightful eatery that excels in serving mouthwatering vadapavs. The taste is impeccable, with the perfect balance of spices and flavors. The pav is soft and freshly baked, while the vada is crispy and flavorful. The service is prompt and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. The prices are reasonable, making it a great value for money. A must-visit place for vadapav lovers seeking a scrumptious treat.

Pune's Iconic Vadapav Stall! If you're a true foodie in Pune, you simply can't miss out on the legendary Vadapav stall situated in Camp. Known for serving mouthwatering vadapavs, this street-side gem has earned its reputation as one of the city's must-visit eateries. The vadapavs here are nothing short of spectacular – perfectly spiced potato patties encased in soft, buttery pav buns. The aroma of freshly fried vadas wafts through the air, enticing you from afar. Each bite is an explosion of flavors, and the accompanying chutneys add that extra zing to the experience. What sets this place apart is its signature offering – those delicious pickled chilies. These fiery little companions are the ideal complement to the vadapav, providing a tantalizing kick that leaves your taste buds begging for more. They strike the perfect balance between spicy and tangy, elevating the entire eating experience. One downside to this popular vadapav stall is its perpetually crowded atmosphere. But that's a testament to its popularity and the fantastic food they serve. Be prepared to join the queue and savor your vadapav while standing or sitting in your vehicle, as there are no tables available. Despite this minor inconvenience, the taste of their vadapav is well worth it. The stall's location in Camp makes it accessible to locals and tourists alike, making it a true Pune culinary landmark. So, whether you're a Punekar looking for a quick, delicious bite or a visitor eager to taste the city's culinary delights, make sure you stop by this vadapav stall. It's an experience you won't soon forget, and it's proof that sometimes the best food is found in the most unexpected places.

Garden Vadapav
Great place to pick up piping hot vadas wrapped in soft pav and spicy and sweet chutney. Cant have just one. Super delish. Infact we had gone to the Decathaln just a few 100 meters away and had worked up a nice appetite to eat here. Must have had 3 – 4 per person. When on holiday, hog. Nice lively place. Sometimes people don’t even get off their bikes, order carry and push. Worth a visit. Great taste, fresh and the owner takes extra care to keep the place clean, keeps wiping down every 5 minutes.
There are few places which have potential to become legendary, this is one of it. If u love vada pav, u don't have to look anywhere else for it. Pav are fresh and soft, coated from inside with tangy and spicy green chatni. Vada is of good size with crispy coating, with awesome filling. Best part I love about it, is the mirchi (chilli) it is served with, tangy and not very spicy.
Radhika Gupta
This place is thronged with people no matter the time. One of the most recommended places in Pune for vada pav. The pav is quite big and the vada is super hot.
Sheba Kurian
This place is crowd-puller due to the quality Vada pavs they serve.
The vadas are big and crispy , the sweet and spicy chutney enhances the flavour and it is served with chura and chillies which makes it a totally delicious street food.

This place needs no introduction. Have been eating their famous Wada pav from years and till date it’s one of the best thing I’ve ever had. Infact whenever I go outside Pune may be for a trip and eat wadapav anywhere I miss the taste that we have here. The chutney is the star ingredient out here. Going there and eating hot wadapav with some cold drink is the best combination one could ever have.
Sherin
It's been the best place to eat vada pav and masala taak
Kaustubh Choudhari
One of the best vadapav I ever had. This is the best place to get yummiest vadapav in Pune. Specially vada is so crispy n yeah it's crowded all the time. Masala tak is simply amazing. Must try place. Food - 5/5 Service - 4/5

The vada pav here is just awesome! They serve it with sweet+spicy green chutney which further enhances the taste !

Garden vada pav is always over crowded with peole waiting in a long line and surrounding the packing guys for their turn. Everything about this place is the best.
Hitesh Gadge
This place was crazy crowded. I ordered vadapav and it was worth to price as they have little higher price. Vadapav was big than any other vada i had last so many years. Vada was served with pav, splashed with sweet and spicy chutney to it & accompanied with some chura and chillies which was pickled in vinegar. Quick service.
Vikram Mehra
Heard a lot about this place we finally tasted there vada pav , and masala chak. Vadabpav was very good and so was chak. I think this place is always crowded , worth of visit when around.
Nida Pathan
This is tastiest vada pav i had in Pune...i loved the aloo ka stuffing it is very tasty and unlike other fat vada pav you'll get this thin and crispy outside.
Deepali Parida
Freshly fried, piping hot aloo vadas nestled inside soft pav with crispies, fried chillies, slice of lemon on the side( sorry no onions as shown in the picture though) along with chilled tak sprinkled with loads of crunchy boondi. The best way to start the day. Two vada pavs with glass of chilled tak and your tummy is full. This is a must visit iconic place of Pune serving the best vada pav since 1972. The quality hasn't changed a bit. Anytime of the day you come here there will always be a crowd. Be prepared to stand in a queue to relish this pocket-friendly delight.

Best Vada pav one can in Pune. Located in the easily accessible area. 5 mins walking distance from Dorabjees and 7 mins From. Sgs mall. Parking a four wheeler could be problem here but no need to worry much as the service is really fast it and also they serve you inside your car as well !

Being in pune and not having jj garden wada pav is not possible. When ever I m in camp I don't forget to have there wada pav with butter milk. Love the way the serve with the pickle... Highly recommend . Price has increased over the time but worth the money.
Hrishikesh Hirve
One of the very old Vada Pav center in Pune. I have been eating vada pav here since 1995 (as long ago as I can remember). They have special pav size baked for them. Huge sized vada with the oversize pav along with the sweet spicy mint chutney. They also provide the chura (additional fried besan) that adds value to your experience.
Must try.
Pragati Bhat
Well the must talked about Vada pav in Pune I had to visit this one..
Well taste is good..
Very authentic way of serving
Value for money...
They charge only 15 rs for this
Which very good for a snack when ur in Pune.
They also serve butter milk.
5/5 for taste
5/5 for value for money
Sohel Shaikh
This is most crowded joint in camp. Mirchi with lemon is better than vada pav. Nowdays taste is not up to the mark centre must improve taste as per quantity of sale increased.
Anand Aphale
As I come from Mumbai, I did not find the vadapav living up to the hype..Vadapav taste better when served Basic..The taste was almost similar to the SK Vadapav..Vadapav can't taste best without the traditional dry red chatni. Still I'll give 3/5.
Could be Better
Yuvraj
Garden Vada Pav, what can i say, On my solo visit to pune, the only thing i wanted to try was a traditional Vada Paav. Anywhere i asked, the only suggestion was, yes you guessed it right, the JJ GARDENS VADA PAV CENTRE. The Vada Pav was beautiful and obviously tasty. It is hard to imagine a shop maintaining such exquisite quality for so so many years, I had 3 Vada Paavs there and god knows i wanted more but had to stop to try other things. The taste to cost ratio there was infinite.
And i almost forgot, the Chillies-muaahh.

Again, as part of a food trail, for outstation friends, this place can't be missed...

The vada Pao is a simple dish, sold in every nook and cranny of the city, and yet one person has carved a niche for himself, and how! The secret lies not just in the taste, which of course is better than anybody else, but the ability to hold prices at RS. 15/- which makes it a bestseller in its own right

Gaurav
Probably the only wada pav shop in Pune who can give famous Mumbai wada pav walas a run for their money.. !

Recently had the wada pav and the masala Tak here. For only rs 15 the quality and the taste was amazing. Though I found oil to be on the higher side. The taste was spot on. The green chutney that they serve adds extra taste to the vada pav. Masala Tak was normal and pretty much available else where also. Nothing extra ordinary about it but had a decent taste.

This restaurant has been in Pune since 1972 and is a icon in itself. This is a vada pav you just can't afford to miss !

Being a mumbaikar and a die hard vada paav fan, I must say that this is the first best vada paav outside my usual spots in Mumbai.. Simply amazing, though now it has started to get a bit low on quality, but still it is one of the best you can get in Pune..
Kshitija Mungekar
One of the historic Vada pavs in Pune, the small crisps they provide with it add crunch to the sweet spicy chutney, The chass with the same helps you digest they yummy hot crispy Vadapav.Very pocket friendly must haves in Pune. The unclean & unhygienic view of the stall location was the only concern a person with notice before having one.
Devanshu Bhargava
This place closes at 9.30 pm and not at 10 pm as mentioned. Such a wastage of time coming from Baner till camp, reaching at 9.45 pm
And being told that hum toh 9.30 tak
Open rehte hai. Who is responsible for giving timings
Isha Varma (Girl With A Big Nose)
This place offers one of the best vada pavs you're going to find in the city! It's a cart located next to the park in camp. No matter what time of the day you visit, this place is always jam-packed! The staff is continuously keeps making and packing vada pavs.
It's a true hidden gem as far as Pune's food wxploration's concerned and an absolute can't-miss visit if you're into Vada pavs.
Thefatfoodieee_
Vada Pav with chura the best best best snack . I love this place and have a vada 3-4 times a week. Masala chas is also good to drink during summer while having a vada pav I love this place from bottom of heart . It costs 15 bugs and you get a vada and pav with lots of chura and an optional drink of masala chas for summer .
Umesh B.
The King of Vada Pava in Pune. I have been eating here since 7 years now and not even once have I gotten bored of their taste which has remained consistent. Crispy Fried hot vadas with soft pavs and pickled chillies along with loose crispies. Makes your mouth water. You can grab a quick bite here or get yourself a takeaway and eat it while watching Hentai; your choice!
Neha Deepak Shah
Total worth of hype because of their taste. Now wonder why people go crazy of their vada pavs since so many years. A must visit outlet if you are in Camp for shopping.

Garden Vada Pav Centre, located in the camp area is famous for its VadaPav. It is a hugely crowded place, thanks to the awesome taste of its vadapav. The taste of Vadapav is worth the hype. If you are crazy for vadapavs then it should be on top of your list.

The vada pav is good but pricing is very bad, garden vada pav costing rs17 per vada pav but Zomato person took 64rs from us... Very unethical pricing... Very bad thought instead placing order through Zomato better visit the place and have it.....

Legit Pune's jaan, where mostly all the working youth and youngsters come to munch on the city's most favourite Garden vada pav.
Cost: 10/- for one
Along with vada pav, you also have an option to have chaas to beat the heat.

They took a while to accept the order, but when they did, the delivery was quick! The vada pav was amazing and all the special instructions were taken care. They send vada pav with chutney, onion, chilli. Tasty and hygienic. Will definitely reorder.

I had read in news that this stall was closed by FDA for not following hygiene norms. Is the stall now reopened and has the quality of food and hygiene improved after the raid?

As a punekar i m very proud of this place! A very famous place for having wada pav. I still remember daddy taking us to this place when we use to visit camp area, i remember it use to cost somewhere around 3.00 Rupees 20 years back. A big wada with an equally big pav with their signature green sweet chutney. Have these two and your belly is full! However things have definitely changed now in terms of the quality and the wada has definitely lost all its flavours, it does not taste at all good the way it was years back. The breading is good but the aloo chutney inside does not taste like before, it is not bad too but its okay to have one. Also if u going to eat then eat hot is preferable, eating after few hours is definitely going to disappoint u as the wada and pav becomes very soggy. Overall its a decent place in case if u have wada pav cravings, one of the best places.
Sanchit Bhatia
One of the best vada pav I have had in Pune since my arrival in the city. The masala taak makes it a perfect combo to have when in or around camp area. This place never upsets me. Such a lovely taste and the quality too is always top notch.
Rohan Dharne
big vada pav served with crispy churas and mirchi. tasty vada pav. one of the best in Pune as they say but as a Mumbaikar... It was a okok vada pav ! They serve buttermilk with vada pav too.
This Plate Is Pretty
This place is really hyped for it's vada paos in Pune however I couldn't understand why. The place is not located at an ideal location, it smells all the time because of the cow shelter beside it and the vada paos were really average!
Kritika
First things first, I don't like the place where this outlet is located. It's located near a cow shelter so the place smells. Their vada paos sure look huge and delicious but they were anything but that.
They were really average and so not worth the hype!
Travelfork
Being from Mumbai it's hard to get Vada pav of that level!
I personally went in search of Vada pav too many places here but this was kinda satisfying to my taste buds.
It's good to give it a try !
Meraj Ahmed
While taking a walk on the streets of Camp area, I saw this place crowded with people of almost all age groups. It was a Weekday Morning, roads were busy, people were going to their offices and their respective works. Many were enjoying Wada Pav at this joint before kick-starting their day. Vada Pavs were being freshly fried served hot n hot with some crispy mixture and salt tossee green chillies . It was really tasty . Like the locals were enjoying, I enjoyed having wada pav too.
Amogh
Well I mean. If you want Pune's best Vada Pav, look no further. This place is a classic. The vada tasts is just different from any other place and its crispier than other vadas. Maybe because it is fried in a batter of besan+rice flour to give it this cripsiness. I've never seen the essential groundnut chutney you get with wada Pav here, and this vada pav doesn't even need it. The green chutney is sweet and pretty thick. Not watery and tasteless like some places. And the chillies are different from the ones you get elsewhere, these are not coated in salt and oil, instead they are sour and lemony in taste. Better then eating those oily salt bombs. And about the pav, nothing special really it's good pav. And the fact that they are so busy guarantees most of the time that they have fresh pavs. All in all, an amazing taste. If you want the best vada Pav you're looking at it here. Also. I would recommend getting it delivered from zomato / swiggy / uber eats as there you can get good discounts on these like 3 for 29/- and 5 for 59/- and more.
Shishir Gupta
This place serves simply awesome Wada pavs, the best in Pune probably.
The ambience is average as it is a road side vendor, who sells on a strolley, but honestly the quality of the food is brilliant.
The service is also average as the turnover is huge and the people serving sometimes are rude.
However nothing of the above mentioned would deter you from going back to this place again and again.
I have been going to this place for more than 10 years now and I can say with surety that the taste has not deteriorated a bit.
Which is why I have given a top rating.
Pratik Bafna

The vada is tasty. Surely it's oily but the place is hygienic. The pav (bread) is served fresh. A go to place for vada pav lovers. Not a huge place to eat there, but I'd recommend this place if you're opting for take-away
