Review Fat Cat's Cafe - Pune

Avijit Das Patnaik
Visited with my daughter for a dad daughter breakfast date. Quaint little place. Good staff. Quick service, taste is good but most importantly portion to cost is better here than mostly places where western foods are kept overpriced! We ordered a pasta and a breakfast meal but couldn’t finish and had to pack some of it home. Bill was 300/- per head without any drinks. Drinks too were reasonably priced. My daughter liked the food which means we will visit again! There are shelves of second hand novels too. I guess one can take any of they want and I can contribute novels there too. Went second time: Loved the pork croissant and daughter loved the pesto pasta

A place to be and have a good time. Oh my God what an experience. Food is good. I was longing to eat a nice juicy burger... finally a place that actually serves juicy burger. And more over its a pet friendly cafe. I mean wow...if i had a option of giving 100 stars i would have coz 5 stars is too less. All in all had a good time. Keep up the good work guys.

Love their Hot Chocolate and Bacon Sun Dried Tomatoes Pasta a lot. Perfect dinner. The vibes are really good. Many boards games and card games to play, many novels to read. It's a very cute café. Loved it. 😌
Ashish Chawda
Good place with outdoor sitting space. Good list of beverages. We ordered Cheese chilli toast thinking what could go wrong... Well what we recieved was a cheese chilli sandwich ( tasty but not what we ordered). Overall a good place to hangout, especially paired with a nice evening climate.

Cute lil cafe with INCREDIBLE chocolate pancakes, delicious sandwich and breakfast options. The coffee is pretty good too!
Sajesh Nair
A good nice cafe serving some nice continental breakfast. Nice pancakes, must try the chocolate pancakes, coffee was really good. It's not a South Indian filter coffee but a good cappuccino. The omlette with pork was good. The best part was the free cookie 🍪. It just melted. Lovely to see a restaurant like this in Pune. Coming from Bangalore this place was a nice surprise. A sure must try when you are in Pune

Feels like mom's hugs this cafe...my fave place to just get mundane work related stuff done with...items on the menu i swear by...baked cheesecake, pumpkin pie, bacon and cheese quiche, crab quiche...the beef burger, chicken hummus wrap, the pulled pork burger as well...
Binu Moothedan
Open early on Sunday mornings. Great choice of eggs. I had the chick n cheese omlette with pork sausages and a cafe latte. All good stuff.
Samantha Fernandes
So I ordered the bacon Alfredo pasta and the Goan sausage toasties... Along with that a nutella milkshake and a hot cappuccino... Very good food and really worth the money...❤

Wonderful.. Nice and cozy place. Fun and interesting things collection including books to read and games to play. Welcoming staff, great food suggestions, and delicious food! The best part is it is pet-friendly, where you can get your pet along!!

Its not the place everyone would like it. It's not those mainstream cafe. It's in niche one. Where in owner is not scared of experimenting with food. Had Red Snapper fish in white sauce that's the as brilliant. Pastry and cake are good and moist. If you have good time and want to have relax evening visit this place. They have outside sitting as well and allows you to have good time

Have added this as favorite dessert place with the ever changing cakes, brownies and cheesecake options, also if you are a pork/meat lover the menu will please you immensely. It is a small place that gives it a very personal touch with interesting games, books and movie options. The staff is very friendly and welcoming making one a regular and happy customer.

Awesome place, awesome ambience. Must try - Japanese Cheesecake, Red velvet cake.
Malvika Nighojkar
Tried the mushroom and cheese sandwich - yum toastie, and generous with oozing cheese. The chips (readymade wafers) served alongside weren't great though :( brown and fatty. Also tried the chocolate shake - thick and delicious! Fair warning - only outside seating during Covid-19. Also be warned that stray dogs are resident staff there. If you are not okay with dogs walking up to you or lying next to you, probably skip this place till inside seating opens up again. Google Pay is accepted.

Fat Cat's Cafe was on my bucket list since long. And finally we visited it. This green well set up cafe is absolutely cute. Why green? Because the sitting chairs and tables are all coloured green, moreover it gives subtle look to the cafe. Also you find cute bookshelf there and above it you will notice adorable kitchen set up. The inner space is bit congested but one can enjoy their food are outside seating area. We ordered- 1. Blueberry Smoothie Bowl- This was too pretty to eat. Comprising of various healthy ingredients it tasted just so delish. 2. Nutella Thick Shake- The taste of Nutella was undermined. It tasted a bit like a chocolate shake. Consistency wasn't thick but it did tasted good. The sweetness was well balanced. It could have been better. Overall my experience in this cafe was really good.

MY FAVORITE PLACE EVER. Super sweet staff and great great ambience. They have a mini library and lots of board games. Food is so so so so tasty 🤤 They have the most tasty pastries and even though I dont have a sweet tooth, i always want to try them out. If you're someone whos on a diet, they've got that covered too! Try their alfredo keto chicken, its super tasty. I would recommend this to everyone and anyone.❤️

Lovvvveeeddd the tiny lil cafe. Very limited menu but quality over quantity is how it can be described. A cute place to chill out.

All time favourite :) can't get enough of this place!
Protima Tiwary
Hahaha...I'm sure I've spammed you enough on Zomato :D Amazing stuff, I can't really pick a favorite. People who haven't been here have definitely missed out on something. Hey, it's never too late guys :) <Pssst- here's a tip: If you are torn between 2 choices, order both. Trust me on that>

Cute Little Cafe with a winsome appeal. Delectable cakes and savories. Enjoyed doing our Breakfast at Tiffany's Shoot here.

Just can't get enough of the red velvet, the cheese cake and not forget the overload brownies!
Gurpreet Luthra
I love this place. The omelette and the desserts are mind blowing. And the ambience is out of this world. So glad it's right next to my home.
Vishal Dharamdas
Amazing pastries!! Red velvet cake & ultimate chocolate are a few of them!
Dinu Nair
Best cheesecakes in pune. Period.

The best Red Velvet cake ever!!!!

We ordered lunch from Fat Cat's yesterday and as per the usual, the food did not disappoint! Melt in the mouth pulled pork in the Asian Pork noodles, cheesy pasta with generously large pieces of bacon, tasty quiche, and delicious baked cheesecake to wash it down... Everything hit the spot! And the portions were generous enough that we had some leftovers for dinner to keep us happy for a bit longer.
Akshaj Dave
The pork burger was outstanding, as usual! With the burger, I had ordered 3 chicken toasties, all the 4 to be delivered home, yesterday.

The chicken was under cooked in all of the toasties. Now, if I am going to pay 220 bucks for a sandwich, that's what I would least expect. Two of these sandwiches are just lying there, no one ate it after trying the first.
Anne Thomas
I would this restaurant a 5 hundred times over. Because oh! The perfection this place is. The food and the decor both deserve a separate 5star rating.
Neha Thangjam
Yum burgers, good cheesecake, happy surroundings. Love reading here. Cute pets always spotted now and then. Helpful staff, knows the menu well.

Recommended : Brownie with ice cream , Cheese cake , Oat meal cookies , Red Velvet pastries , Quiche , coffee

One of the best brownies that i have binged . Place is small and cosy. There is some outside seating available too. Board games available to play. Food is delicious especially their brownie and oat meal cookies. It’s quite expensive compared to upscales like Theobroma.

Fat Cat's is an excellent way to start your morning with a deliciously healthy breakfast.

Their omelets are worth trying in addition to their homemade pastas.
Anish Manohar
This place is great! I've been there several times. Ordered online a couple of times too. Great food and really friendly folk.

I tried the special Asian pork noodles today, and my oh my, it doesn't get any better folks! This was the best noodles I've had in my life! It was a tad oily but the taste was awesome! The pork was really well cooked too.

The loaded pork burger, the chocolate cake, the red velvet cake and the pancakes here are great too.

I'm a fan of Fat Cat's cafe :D

Hungry_rovingpanda
This place located near salunke vihar is famous of the red velvet cake. This Cafe has books to read and its very famous. Do try it out when in this part of the city.

Everything from Fat Cats is always supreme! The pork burgers, the butter beer cupcakes, the lamingtons are by far the best I've eaten .

They also serve quiches that are wonderful.

I only take a point away because I feel they are a little expensive. Would love to see a rework on their pricing. But otherwise food is top notch.
Varun Mohite
Usually all my orders are for delivery and 90% is repeated. The bacon and cheese toastie is just simply brilliant. It warm cheesey and with bacon, the perfect comfort food, breakfast food, or a hungover food. Tried the loaded burger once it was good but nothing beats the toastie

It's always a delight to visit this place. You can really see the effort the owners and the team put in to make you feel well fed and loved!

So it was an early Sunday for us. After a game of intense badminton, we were casually roaming the streets of Salunkhe Vihar with hungry stomachs, when we came across this quaint little cozy cafe tucked along side the road bang opposite Salunkhe Vihar society. And boy, were we lucky!
To start with, it was the handwritten black board that had our attention at the entrance which had us. And the second thing that caught our eyes was the green theme. Initially, we were clueless and a bit apprehensive as we entered the cafe, only to be greeted by a sweet lady. (I'm sorry aunty, don't know your name!🙈) She was kind enough to read up our clueless minds and suggest some filling food. And because I'm allergic to cheese, she assured me that whatever I order shall be made sans cheese ( And aunty I can't thank you enough for this gesture❤)
So yes! Ordered Greek omelette for myself and a chicken omlettle for the friend. Got it with toasted brown bread (Health fanatics, do you smell healthy food already?) with a side of hash browns along with some heart warming hot chocolate..
PS - One of THE best hot chocolates I've had in Pune. People PLEASE do not leave the cafe without trying it.
Also ordered iced tea, which did cool down the soul.
The omelettes were fluffy, with the right amount of salt and spice, and yes - filling. The hunger was satisfied.
The hot chocolate was served with a side of oats cookies, which added the yum crunch to the breakfast!
And guess what, all of this was not even heavy on the wallet!
Overall experience in 2 words: Sunday made!
Guess who's coming back the next Sunday?!!😉

I placed a home delivery order from Doha for my mom in Pune for her birthday, I spoke to Melanie to check with her if she had the items I was about to order, and had a special request to add a happy bday note on the cake! She was so accommodating n polite. My mom was so happy to receive the food delivery - Ye old faithful, bacon and cheese quiche, chicken Alfredo toastie- these were heavenly!
And 2 red velvet pastries - very tasty but a bit dry, but I have tasted these before and they were delicious!
Thank you Fat Cats Cafe & Zomato for helping me make my moms bday special! I will definitely order from here again :)

Best restaurant in wanowrie, period. Also one of pune’s finest patisseries. Everything that has chocolate in it here is to die for as well as the cheesecakes.
Chirag Shah
Cute little place in wanoari, with a very friendly staff. Amazing food (sandwiches, breakfast, desserts) Nothing fancy but that's what makes it good! Lots of board games and cards to play. Worth a visit.
Mahek Ochani
I was expecting a lot better based on the reviews....tried today....pasta had no cheese just dry n very basic no taste....pastry has a dry sponge n isnt gooey or has a good chocolate taste....it just gives a dry egg based spongy taste ....not worth at all!!

The fudge is so dry tat it has cracks ....waste of money!!!!

Prajkta Nawalkar Deshmukh
A quaint little place but gives you a fresh feeling as soon as you enter, the decor and ambience is very soothing. We had omelets and berry smoothie. Omlets very cooked to perfection and were tasty enough.the berry smoothie was made with yogurt and coconut milk. The best thing on the table was the salted caramel chocolate cake. It’s a must go if u want to have a hearty breakfast

This is a great place to hangout and the food served is really good. I have tried the latte's and the sandwiches here.
My personal favorites are cheese and chicken sandwiches.
The place has good and relaxing ambiance.

Fat cat’s has always been a delight. Be it years ago when we went to grab a piece of some special coffee pastry like dessert or just a few months back when we loaded ourselves with coffee and more desserts. The food here is delicious. Although I’ve not tried the main course items but the desserts just never disappoint. In fact they have keto and other friendly options in deserts which is rare to find, specially in bakeries. Despite being a small place it’s cozy and always tidy. The ambience is marvellous and the staff ever so welcoming.

Can't put into words how amazing the cakes (especially red velvet and chocolate) are 😍😍😍😍😍 Best I've Ever Had In Pune. I love the ambiance of the shop love to have a cup of green tea + chocolate cake and read my favorite book 😍😍😍✨ Total Bliss

Amazing place! My hunt for a perfect place for pancakes ends here! Ordered hot chocolate pancakes and Nutella thick shake and it was really good. I was full but still wanted to hang around a little bit. So read a book from their nice little library while I tried their peach iced tea. Very Friendly staff and Great place!

Visited The Fat Cat's Cafe with a friend to grab a coffee with cake. The place is tiny and we xhose to sit outside which on hindsight was a wrong decision. With a pet store next door the outdoor seating is swarmed with flies which the restaurant cant do much a about. Wr ordered Black Coffee with Dense Chocolate Cake and Japanese Cheese Cake. While there were no complaints for the coffee, the Chocolate cake was really sinful and delicious. Japanese Cheese Cake is supposed to be light, fluffy and spongy but this one wasn't.
All in all we did have a nice time barring the flies!

Fat Cat's Café, located next to Salunkhe vihar society is one of those pretty and petite cafés you definitely want to visit for a laid back dessert experience. The decor is super pretty, with muted tones and shades of mint everywhere.

We had their red velvet cake here. Loved how dense and yet how light and airy the pastry was. The cream cheese frosting was just as great, adding the perfect amount of richness to the already fulfilling experience
Mukul Gupta
Very nice cinnamon pancake and cheesecake. Coffee was not great but still a good brew. I would suggest blue tokai brews if you can provide. 1 less star because owner was happy go lucky, dont bother too much with customers. Decors is pretty good. Would definitely visit next time .

Small cafe in koregaon park Lane that serves variety of desserts , sandwiches and coffee. Their red velvet pastry is really good with a thick layer of cream cheese over it.Must try!

This is such a cute cafe with such a friendly staff !
Their red velvet and ultimate chocolate cake is to die for !
In savoury my favourite are barbecue chicken cheese toasties and cheese jalapeno toasties !
Their coffee and other drinks are also very good
Everything is freshly made !
It's a must visit in salunke vihar!
We were at the vet's clinic last week, and the Cafe is right next door. We had an hour to kill, and food sounded like the best option.
The Cafe is semi-outdoorsy with a no fuss decor. Every table has the essential sauces and sprinkles, with paper napkins. You order at the indoors counter, pay, and the delicious food finds its way to you via a courteous server.

We went with a bacon & cheese quiche, and a mushroom & cheese sandwich.
The baking was impeccable. Quiche had a solid consistency with a decent amount of stringy cheese. Bacon was fried perfectly, and the curling of those strips was uniform. The mushrooms were well grilled. I would've preferred more cheese in the sandwich.

The owner was OK with us siting there with a puppy, as long as he wouldn't make it uncomfortable for the others. We were grateful for that.

It was my hubbys bday and one of our cousin bought the red velvet cheese cake and I would say that it ws yummm..I am waiting to taste al the other cakes out there...And would also recommend others ...One must try the red velvet cheese cake....😍
Anelia Din Jolly
If you’d ever wanna try out an actual Creme Brûlée, then this is the right place! Had tried out their quiche and the red velvet cake. They were equally good. The place has got a cute ambience to it. A good place to hang out with your MacBook and a cup of coffee during the weekend!
Rajive Gupta
It is really an ideal place for the morning breakfast and midday meals - great food, quiet place and good service. Must visit for all English breakfast lovers
Anushka Venkatraman
I personally love this place N I happen to visit the place almost every time i feel on binging on something .I had to try their Portuguese treats. They re-opened today and yes we miss you guys alot. This chocolate salami made my mouth water. And made me crave for more and more of it. It's succulent, rich, and has its own nutty and very texture. It is worth buying and worth trying. When they mean they would deliver you Portuguese desserts they really mean it. You guys are just way too awesome ❤
Sailee
Cute place I had always meant to go to. I loved the interior, it was gorgeous; especially the bookcase. I only ordered the Lemon Iced Tea and Cheesecake (which was delicious).

Fat Cat's Cafe is well known for its desserts. The small cafe at Salunke vihar road has been on my wish list for a long time.

I tried bacon and cheese quiche, and red velvet cake. The quiche was full of delicious and comforting flavours of bacon and cheese. This one is ideal for breakfast or snack because bacon AND cheeeeese!! SO good!!
The Red Velvet Cake too was lovely.

Next I'll be trying their Pork Burger and Baked Cheesecake.

Nishant Johri
Went there to have a good breakfast , and they forgot to even write my order . Kept waiting for the order to come for an hour just to get to know that it was never placed even when an employee was noting down whatever we were ordering.
Joby Chacko
A small cafe called by the name Fat Cafe was a delightful surprise. Out of hunger we just bumped into a roadside cafe but to our surprise the burger and sandwiches ordered were outstanding. The chicken sandwich was perfectly made cheesy where it would string a bridge out of your mouth. Hope I would locate this piece of place and jump in for a sandwich again or try something new out there.
Himani
No doubt their cakes and pastries are delicious but their pricing is kinda high! You must try their snickers cake, it’s bomb and their brownies are just perfection
Harshit J
Cozy little cafe with nice food and amazing atmosphere barring the mosquitoes. Really good sandwiches and pasta and amazing hot chocolate and mojito. Still have to try the desserts but they sure did look amazing. Would recommend this place for anyone wanting to have a quick bite between meals.
Deeps
We went to this place yesterday as we have heard a lot about this joint. It was non-crowded, nice & cozy little joint with seating capacity of 6 inside & 4/5 outside. We ordered cold coffees, veg red pasta and I was not particularly impressed by either of two.

Pros:
1. Nice & Cozy ambiance- those who like reading will definitely like this place as it has a good book collection.
2. Service was nice- prompt & friendly.
3. It was decent on pocket- all this costed us around 500.
4. Quantity of food was good.
5. Not much crowd on a weekend night so one can simply seat here for long time.

Cons:
1. There is not much variety in the menu. Savory items are not much in menu
2. Coffee was very low on sweetness and corn in pasta were having some funny taste.

Overall this looked & tasted to me like any other cafe.
Smita Sharma Tiwari
We heard about this place from a colleague that they are hosting goan feast.. we were instantly up for it for the love we have for Goa.. we reached here after looking for it for quiet a long.. it's a small outlet amongst many and can be easily missed out if you are new in the area.. we came all the way from Wakad!
We ordered for different menus from the set goan menu.. omelette..chicken curry accompanied by 2 pavs, paysam, green prawn thai curry, suji cake, etc..
It was all the worth travelling for..
The staff is sweet and fills u up with details of the food and the cafe.. it's a quaint and a small place and also has a small library for times when u wanna just hangout for a coffee all by yourself..
Sameer Joshi
Simple yet super effective.... A small cafe, nothing fancy, but very neatly done interiors and nice comfy choice of chairs and tables makes you notice this roadside Cafe... I ordered Choc chip cake and cappachino and they could not have been any better... Definitely worth a visit for locals...!!! Keep up the good work
Aditi.chitnis
We tend to frequent Fat Cats Cafe for its amazing food and great ambience.
They had the Goan Food Fest menu out today. Just looking at the choices made it tough to decide what to order.
The pork and prawn starters and main course was authentic and tasty.
Can safely say its one of the best places.
Akanksha Limaye
Great place to chill out. Delicious Pastries and coffee. Red velvet is the most ordered from the menu. Very tasty and perfect cheese cream. Love to spend the evening here. Good vibe
Karishma Poonekar
I have been to both their outlets and I noticed something; i.e there are only dogs around which are adorable... and I suggest y'all should rename their cafe to "Fat dog's Cafe"!! 🤣🙈 Jokes apart!!
This is cozy, clean, and tidy place that is adjacent to coffee jar at salunkhe vihar... The moment I entered this place it was total bliss and pretty!!
There a lot of books that help you while your time... ☕️ and 📚 what a perfect duo!!! 😍
Our order:
Green tea 🍵- nothing much can go wrong; however the thread came off once I lifted the tea bag!!
Black coffee - it was from the machine!!
lime mojito - was a perfect balance of flavours!!
Cappuccino - was frothy, creamy, and coffeey!!
Overall a nice experience and I shall surely revisit!!🍻🍻

Fat Cat Cafe, Salunkhe Vihar remains my go-to place for comfort food. While their quiche and sandwiches are exceptional, it's the desserts that keep me going back for more. Today we ordered that salted caramel slice and apple crumble which did not disappoint.
Sudhakar Hannda
Apart room the cozy ambiance ( great for couples and small friend groups) the ambiance is very Indo-Goan-European. A small exchange library keeps it interesting if you're alone with lots of time to kill. The library allows exchange - carry a book and exchange for one of theirs.
The food : superb presentation, though a small range - But its real home like flavors and taste. The cakes and the take-away mini meals are a very cool deal.
Its all worth the price and gives a great feel after a "good meal".
Priyanka Chib
Ambience (4/5) : A very cute little cafe. Almost a hit and miss if not for the amazing setting.
Food :
Gooey chocolate brownie (4/5) : amazing texture and very good quality. The chocolate tastes delish.

Baked blueberry cheesecake (2/5) : it was okayish. The crumble was a little dry and the blueberry was not that sweet.

Service (4.5/5) : very quick and nice.
Rithvik Balaji
Amazing place with good service! Try out the red velvet cake and all the other pastries. Quiches are amazing too! Should definitely try this out
NIKI C
The best chocolate brownies....gooyeeee (Not for people without a prominent sweet tooth) The red velvet was fluffy...perfect! The bacon is served simple yet very interestingly! Treat for tastebuds!
6/3/2019.. Tried the black magic cake and Boston cream cake...loved both.
15/10/2019..I tried the apple almond cake today and it's absolutely heavenly goodness...sugar free...filled with long fresh apple slices...nuts...almond flour...this is a cake with angelic intervention for people on a diet with an irresistible sweeth tooth and love for cakes.

I am sure you must have seen a fat cat, a fat cat looks cute but it doesn't really move a lot. Fat Cat's Cafe has a peaceful vibe and a soothing decor going for it.Alas those are the only things that got us hooked on a hot Saturday, the food was really not on to it.

The Mojito was very sweet and the only thing that I got to taste in the Sandwich was the cheese (that too Mozzarella -an absolute no go for sandwiches).

The hosts were really polite and I sincerely hope that they will turn things around.
Nidhi Shah
Unarguably the best red velvet cake/pastry you can find in the city. Its the dense chocolaty and deep maroon in color with a perfect frosting. I am in love with their pastries. Each one of them is a winner in its category and you definitely should not miss out on them.
Ohmyfoodie31
This place is one of the finest cafes in wanowrie.
It has a nice decor , games to play , and books to read.
The things i tasted here were
- blueberry cheese cake
- red velvet pastry
- dark chocolate mousse
- bbq chicken sandwich
- chicken minced burger
Their pastry taste amazing try them out surely
Ambience -3/5
Food- 4/5
Value for money-3/5

The Fat Cat's Cafe has the most delicious and melt in your mouth Red Velvet Cake which will keep you going back for more.
It's the best place to go to if you just want some peaceful time alone. They also have a mini library for those who love reading while having a good cup of Coffee.
Nidhi Bhasin
Pretty cafe and lovely options to choose from..
Loved how it is small yet sophisticated..
Tried the baked cheesecake, cold coffee and the butter beer milkshake...
The decor is really nice and they have some books and boardgames as well!!
Would love to come back often!!
Rafiya Shaikh
Very few options for vegeterians and non-pork eaters apart from dessert. I ate the Red velvet cake and it was amazing. It was the first time I had red velvet, and they didn't let me down. I bet other desserts are amazing too in the chocolate and rainbow categories. But the seating and location are dingy.
Ashish Sasi
Easily one of the best asian pork noodles and cheesecakes I've ever had in my life.
Viera
Famous for the red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting , this place sure knows how to get it right.the sponge wasn't too sweet, it was light, moist and fluffy. The cream cheese brownie was amazing. Right amount of gooeyness topped perfectly with cheesecake.
Suchita
A beautiful cafe with amazing food and amazing people. A perfect pretty ambiance that provides a friendly feel to the place. Their baked cheesecake is to die for and the pesto cheese sandwich a decadence. An exceptional red velvet cake to their menu too is highly recommendable. Service is amazing. I make it a point to visit them every week as i cant stay away from the baked cheesecake for long.
Lobster Pasta Lady
A small Cafe turned Landmark in Salunke Vihar area!

Must Have : Dense Chocolate Cake with Salted caramel, Nutella Shake with Peanut Butter, Pesto and Cheese Roll!

Fat Cats is insanely famous for its scrumptious desserts and of course the 'Red Velvet'. The 'Red Velvet' here is a tad too sweet for me, have tasted better to be honest! I personally relish the chocolate pastries that they serve. This is the go-to breakfast option in this area, the sandwiches and rolls are delectable, always have me craving for more. You can blindfoldedly trust me on this one! 😀😀
As a matter of fact, the desserts though priced on a higher end - other items on their menu are fairly priced for the quality and taste that they serve.

Staff is hospitable and Courteous. You should feel free to ask them for any recommendations that may suit your taste. Has always worked for me!❤
Srijit
A little cafe with very less variety of food but the servings are great. From the red velvet cake to the crab tart everything I had was yummy and at point. The name is unique and they entertain pets too :D
Lavina
I think I was one of Melanie's very first customers. This was when cakes meant only Pineapple or Black Forest. Time and again Melanie has been inventing delish cakes and her cafe is one of the cutest!
I have never been rushed and have worked from her cafe for ages.
You'd definitely want to visit if you're looking for authentic cakes and are tired of the run-of-the-mill ones.
P.S. She also serves amazing snacks so definitely a place I'd recommend if you're looking for a light lunch/dinner!
Mustafa Kantawala
This place is not just another Cafe for me. It is a home away from home. Melanie & Sunil are one of the most humble people I have ever met. The entire staff is extremely polite & supportive. There have been times wherein a Cup of Coffee have last for 2-3 hours amidst conversation amongst my friends, yet, they never objected the same, which is truly admirable. My Fav is the Chicken BBQ Toastie & Red Velvet Cake. Wishing them the best & to many many many more branches across the town & country.
Feeling really sad to see the attitude of people opening up cafes or managing them these days. We did have a whole long list of things to eat that we had to order. But ma'am, ur attitude totally put us off... Sorry to say, but I see this place shutting down very soon. All the best...ps. the cake was home made and let us know if u wud like to sample it. Sorry we did nt offer u yesterday.
This sounds ridiculous but your attitude in the reviews below reflects like Zod /Loki asking people to kneel !!! Great way to go ...when you do not want customers to use the chairs kept in your upclass cafe ...so should we assume that the chairs were fancy display for sale on OLX / QUICKR, or are you in process of opening an IKEA store. Anyways expecting you to be humble and polite in the service industry seems to have triggered you ...its like asking Picasso to play pictrionary....wished you were as good as the Cheshire cat...but you proved yourself to be ....well as the name suggests. Want doesn't get....understand it the right way people

In India where there is a culture of ATITHI DEVO BHAVA...simply refusing a chair to your present customer(we did order a couple of capucchinos and iced teas..full payment made) saying they may need it for other customer is just so unhospitable. You are indirectly saying YOU people are not welcome here.If the owner had a problem with our(homemade but wrapped professionally because my friend is an awesome baker and believes in perfection!)) cake she would have come over to us and requested politely. But her unfriendly demeanour left a very BAD taste in our mouth and especially watching our reactions from a corner when you are busy scrolling social media definitely puts your customers off! We were a group of 7 to 8 friends and it was my bad that I recommended them Fat Cat 's cafe. A Big Thumbs down👎👎👎

Very interesting experience at this cafe this evening. 6 of us friends gathered to have coffee, ice tea and chat. Note: one of us had bought a home made cake for us sample. There was a table with four chairs outside. When we went to get couple of chairs from inside, the person managing the cafe said " these are reserved for customers that MAY come"- so please don't take it. This is when we had ordered 3 cappuccinos, one black and 2 ice teas and we were waiting for it. And had paid for it in advance. So the managers statement was sort of confusing. I clarified if some one reserved a table, that was not the case. I did ask the manager, why she wouldn't let us use empty chairs but no convincing reason was given. She finally relented saying " please return the chair if any other customers come in " . Weird Cat Cafe. Wonder if the home made cake pissed of the manager, if that was communicated, we had three cars with nice hoods that would served as a table. Or coffee jar next door would have been ideal. Nothing hospitable about this cafe...sorry.

My group and I had this place on our list of try-outs for a long time! We had the famous Red Velvet cake, Victoria's sponge cake, baked Cheesecake with Cherry topping and Butter-beer shake. All of those were simply amazing! Still can't get them out of my head!!

This place was on my wishlist since a very long time. I really dont understand why people have rated it 4.5 and 5.

I did not find anything special about this place. We reached this place at 1.45pm. The person at the counter was in a hurry as they were closing in 15minutes.

We ordered our stuff and asked him to serve us. He insisted on taking a parcel but as we wanted to have their cold coffee too we requested him and then got it for dine in.

We ordered Nutella (A slice with a crispy upper portion with little nutella ) Clearly it did not do justice to its name. When the key ingredient itself was very little.

It tasted like a plain cake from Kayani Bakery. If uve had their plain cake u'll definitely get what i am saying. Just a plain slice with little nutella.

I'd rather prefer Kayani bakery and have a whole cake in just 100 bucks. Their slice was 150 bucks. I found this place little overpriced too.

Next was cold coffee. It was okayish. It did not please me.

Also wanted to try their much talked about red velvet cake but having had two items with sheer disappointment we did not opt for it and had everything really fast as they had to close down and they were taking their chairs inside the store.

PS-Plz respect ur customers. Atleast when they are in time. Nobody will like such a behavior. I am sure nothing's gonna happen if u extend 10 to 15mins,if u have customers at ur cafe.

Don't think will visit again

We came for a quick brunch here... Loved d little cafe and all the dishes we tried. We tried chicken lasagne, steak chill fry, becon cheese pesto toasty and Goan sausage roll. We really liked it all.
Would like to come here often.. I like the look of the cafe... It's perfect for lazy afternoon book read with a hot cup of coffee😊

Went to this cute bakery on a rainy day. The interiors are damn cute and they have a shelf of board games and books for the ones who would enjoy reading with a cuppa coffee.

We ordered for the drink of the day which was butter beer shake and red velvet. The butter beer shake grows on you after a few sips. But I really wasn't a fan of the red velvet. It wasn't as soft as I would have wanted it to be. Definitely not the red velvet that melts in your mouth. I've tasted better! ( Le 15, Mumbai)

Was excited for the red velvet ice cream after reading so many reviews here but was disappointed as they said they aren't making it anymore. Sigh!!

I should say that they are serving the bestest , most delicious , tastiest , melt in mouth... ...red velvet cheese cakes in the world..!!!
I generally don't review food joints/restaurants/bakery. But their bacon and cheese toasties overwhelmed me so much so that i had to write. The cappuccino was a dissapointment though.
The setting of the cafe is perfectly snug and cozy.
Overall it was a very gratifying experience.

Well, I have a thing for cute cafes..! Fat cat's is a cute little cafe bang opposite Salunke vihar, owned by a lovely couple.
They bake amazing stuff. They have few tables and cafe is small and cozy.
I've had their famous red velvet cake which was awwwwesome , nigella's rum chocolate cake and baked cheese cake..oh boy! They were extremely good!
They try new things and come up with new item every now and then.
Must visit cafe for all cake lovers 🍰😍

A small cafe with a cozy feel. On recommendation I tried the red velvet pastry and cold coffee. The pastry was good.. soft cake and cream cheese topping. Not one of the best I've had though. The cold coffee was also okayish.

A small and cute little shop in clover heights, Wanowrie
A very good collection of books .
I tried their chocolate pastry and didn't really enjoy it that much. It was not soft and moist.
The taste was not that good.
The ambience though is nice and quiet.

Nice taste of red velvet. Small but nice cafe. Cost is high compare to other home bakers. Overall i can say must try this place. They hv less stock and variety so i think freshness is there.

I have no idea why they've got such good rating. I went there for the infamous red velvet, where firstly I was served stale cake (despite telling the waiter to get us a fresh slice instead of the last slice lying on display and he saying to do so) and secondly, I honestly believe Betty Crocker Red Velvet mix makes a better cake than Fat Cat's. Definitely not visiting again.

The service is excellent. ! loved the cappuccino and the red velvet cake. Must try at least once. Nice place to sit and chill , read books ...

My favourite has to be the Asian pork spaghetti. In one word... its soul satisfying from the first bite to the last. Available in koregaon park outlet in the sweet charriot lane. The cafe enjoys scenic view both in side and outside. But the warm welcome is the one you will keep coming back for.. wonderful experience..

It's a nice little place to visit and hangout with friends. Sweet little place lovely seating arrangements, just needs to expand the seating area a little bit more other than that everything is fabulous. Coming to the food part the red velvet cake is simply amazing probably the best you can get in Pune. The espresso too was a hit. And there are many more cakes and beverages, the cakes are homemade and simply a piece of art. The staff is quite friendly. So overall a great place to be with a couple of friends and have a great cup of coffee to talk over.

I have visited Fat Cat's quite often now with a friend who introduced me to it. We have never thought of changing the place of our meet. It is perfect for us. Sit out, relax, talk and enjoy their coffee, shakes and velvet cake is on my list now. Will be there again, soon.

It's a small little shop tucked away in wanowrie, a place which is really starting to sprout many great eateries.
Ambience : 4/5 - The cafe has this small seating area outside and a couple of seats within. The seating is nice and cosy, and good place to sit have a pastry.
Food : 4/5 - t
The red velvet cake if you are able to get it fresh is absolutely delicious. One of the best I've had in Pune. I haven't had any of the other savoury items on their menu but I'm sure they would be quite good as well.
Overall 4/5 - As a pastry shop Fat cat's is a great place to get some delicious pieces of cake and pastry.

This place is an absolute must visit, it's cute, small & has mint green interiors with cute little knick knacks around. It has a stand with books , magazines for all the book lovers and they have the perfect coffee :D also had their red velvet cake, Asian pork box which was really good. Reasonably priced. Will be visiting for more, and will recommend

My go to place for coffee! It's Cozy and comfortable and I love the fact that they have a bookshelf of random books you can browse through /buy while you wait for your order.

A small Cafe with idyllic decor and amiable staff. Melony the owner of the cafe will win your hearts by an impeccable charismatic smile and cakes baked by her will satiate your taste buds. " Happiness is in home made food" and the place stand true to these words. A must visit place for people who crave for sweets.

Hands down, the best red velvet pastry and dark chocolate cake in town!
The chicken sandwich and penne pasta are quite yummy, but the highlight of this place are the pastries. Recommend this place to anyone with a sweet tooth!

This place is located at the of the salunke vihar road.
I'll give 5/5 for their red velvet pastry.
It is served with a cheese on top of the pastry. And its really yummy.
They also have a red velvet cake inside the jar. Which looks really cute.
The place isn't big in size but in taste definitely it is.
The only thing I don't like about this place is that they do not accepts card. Only cash!

The good part: place is quite cosy and host is friendly. The red velvet cake is yummy.
Not so good part: Been there twice, the portions they serve are definitely smaller than what you would expect; Especially the set-menu they offered on Goan Food Festival was a shocker! I was not too hungry on that day and yet still I left feeling the stomach half empty.
Verdict: Nice place to eat some quick snack or a yummy cake, but definitely not a recommended place for eating your supper. (I have to be fair here- this is a cafe after all; but zomato recommended this one as a dinner place to me). They should increase their prices if they need to; but should not disappoint customer by the minimalist quantities they serve. Most customers will not say this on face out of modesty; but many will not return either.

Love their desert. Absolutely heavenly. Try red velvet or any Chocolate cakes. I like their savoury dishes too especially crab melts. My only complaint will be the portion of the thali dishes, could be more generous. The owners are very friendly and the place has a charm. Wish they could be just a bit generous.

The Fat Cat experience is one of a kind. The desserts are spectacular, and the ambience, cozy. The owners are friendly and love experimenting with food. There are books and board games available as well. At one point Fat Cat's had become my ' Central Perk' of Pune, and now, well, I can still hear the food calling out to me!

Love everything at this place! Coffee could be a little better, but don't miss out on the red velvet, salted caramel, brownies and everything chocolate there! Yum Yum Yum!

I had heard a lot about the red velvet they served and wanted to try it. We ordered red velvet , ultimate chocolate cake and bbq chicken roll. The red velvet was good but I think it's highly overrated, chocolate cake was ok but rolls were really good.
