Review Noodle Canteen - Pune

LOHIT KUMAR MOHAKUD
Always love the Chinese food here. Hakka noodles with burnt Garlic. Not over neither less burnt Garlic give the noodle a superb flavour. Very fast in service and one should look for their menu to try different noodles with gravy as well. Hygienic Place. Prices are also reasonable. Must try !!!

If you love Asian cuisine and happened to be in kalyani nagar just head towards Noodle Canteen. and treat yourself ( i can join if you inviting.. 😉😅 ) with Yumm & Almost Authentic ( as per owner says...ask him a logic behind this ) Asian Food. review ahead.... Its a Small place, inspired from street side Cafe / Restro from Asian countries, gave you the feel of some cramped roadside stall with some great food. walls are decorated with Some farmer caps & Origami arts which adds that Asian substance to over all ambiance. We started with Spicy Chicken Ramen. Followed by Vegetable Tupka, which was good but if given choice definitely Ramen will be the option ! So after that we had Mapo Baozi ( Chicken & Veg ) and both variant of Baozi was good. After this we have been introduced to Korean BBQ wings which was super delicious, some sweet note ( probably honey .. 🤔) with spiced after note.. really loved it. Then there was Shanghai Crispy Potato, tasted a few pieces and wasn't really that bad. would love more if they were lil more spicy. Phad Thai ( Chicken ) this was something i haven't had before.. made with Tamarind pulp & lots of Peanuts & Flat Noodles..which gives you sweet, Sour lil spicy taste... Sounds yumm na? i know. And then there was Activated Charcoal Noodles & Dimsums ( Chicken / Veg ) as i was having it 1st time was so excited about this by seeing those amazing clicks people have shared so far... and boy... was really something Different !! liked it !! honestly cant say i loved it but definitely liked it !! Noodles served with Tossed veggies & Chicken on side, sure a try worthy ! Dimsum was Made so picture perfect. give it a try once. And the Show Stopper was yummmmm Chocolate Wantons ( Fried)😍😍.. which were served in pool of Salted caramel sauce which was adding amazing Taste and texture to dish. One important thing the quantity they serve i both is Huge.. to finish it either you have to share with some one or you have to be hungry since ages.... 😛😛 They also serve Home made Ice Tea variants like Lime / Classic / Peppermint from which i love the classic one. Also They make there own noodles at outlet only ? even the charcoal one also. All staff is Good with service. Overall its a nice place to have Asian Cuisine ! small place but worth a try for sure !!

Noodle Canteen a small cozy Restaurant in Kalyani Nagar serves one of the best Asian food in Pune. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Loved the way they tried to decorate the place with hats and origami to make you feel you're in a restaurant in Asian country like japan and vietnam. Coming to food we had: * spicy chicken ramen: A bowl with chicken, eggs, veggies and hot piping soup all in one. It's spicy and really delicious. *Vegetable thukpa: It was okay in taste. *Korean bbq chicken wings: The best of all. The sweet and spicy taste of it will make you go crazy for it. * Charcoal Dimsums and noodles: Tried these two dishes for the first time and it didn't disappoint me at all. They not only look different but it's also good for health as it contains activated charcoal. *In Ice Tea they had 3 different types of in-house ice tea i.e, peppermint, lemon and classic. Loved the classic one. The best of all was the chocolate wontons. It was crispy and filled with chocolate and dipped in salted caramel sauce. Not too sweet, taste was on point. The owner and staffs were very friendly and courteous. Overall a great experience will definitely visit again.

Trust me guys this joint offers really really tasty food😋 I travelled this place for my special one's birthday treat roughly about 25km away from my place. I was very excited as well as nervous bcos i had highly recommended this place based on the reviews. On ordering my favorites firstly chicken dimsums they won my heart 💓 It was soo flavourful i absolutely loved it. Then i tried to experiment little and ordered Thali spring rolls. They had a strong flavour of kafir lime leaves and lemongrass and had stuffing of glass noodles. Was something different for my palate but was enjoyable.Loved the sweet chilli sauce which came along with it. Now the star of the entire lunch was the burmese khow suey. I have had khow suey many times in past and i can say this was the best i had till date😍 Nice creamy curry and all the accompaniments were mixed in the curry itself, chicken was soft and flavourful. Bow down to this amazing preparation. Simply amazing. Will travel again 25km for this curry soon. The ambience is nice. This place is really small soo i would suggest to book earlier. The service was ok not soo great for my experience. Staff didn't feel very excited and were just doing their job. For food i will highly highly recommend this place.

Items ordered: Mapo Baoji dimsum Activated charcoal dimsum Khao shuey with sea food Singapore spicy noodles Coconut rice Pranko prawns Korean bbq wings Lemon Ice tea Chocolate wanton Its a small joint with limited seating capacity for now. But, the owner's behavior and the innovative food menu along with the vibrant decor of the whole space is exceptionally good. All the food items were extremely well made with a different taste to them. The service is fast and the staffs are extremely well behaved. The owner is a lady who helped suggesting what to order as per our preference. The quantity and quality of the the food items are brilliant. A must visit joint.

For an "authentic" Asian cusine, this one is a must visit. We ordered Mapo baozi, veg Tukpa, charcoal noodles(must try) and streamed popia as recommended by owner and I must say each one was just awesome. All dishes had just the right flavours and were perfectly cooked!! Friendly owner and great food just made our day!! Looking forward to try new dishes next time!!

Fantastic Oriental cuisine, at some very affordable prices. The Bao Mapzi, Wheat Zuchhini noodles, Egg and Chicken Hakka Noodles were right on the money. The portions are huge, so don't forget to inquire while ordering. The ambiance is comfy, though a little bit more space to sit would be appreciated. I took a special liking to the peanut sauce and mildly spiced Schezwan sauce. #EatGood #OrientalIsAmazing 😋😍😘🤩

It's a place to chill, you must say your friends gang can totally have fun here. An establishment which serves you pan Asian food that is exquisite and delicious. Location:- couldn't be more easier to find. On the main streets of Kalyani Nagar. Easily accessible through public transport as well. Ambience:- A cute little outlet where you'll be happy to relax. If you like closed, air conditioned space; they have that or if you love nature; just enjoy their outdoor seating. Ideas derived from Korea and Vietnam, the ambience is all about Asian countries that have a beautiful history. Farmers hat and origami, best to describe Asia culture. Service:- Well it's not a restaurant as per say, but you can expect a good and efficient service here. They staff is very friendly here. They gave me ideas about clicking pictures where I could get the best lighting. Lol, isn't that cute. They described the dish as they are working in a 5*. Well done job by the staff. Food:- I've been meaning to try pan Asian cuisine for a long time and finally noodle canteen gave me that chance. Believe me it's affordable and if you are foodie, you won't care about the cost. Charcoal noodle, charcoal dimsums, Thukpa, pad Thai, spicy ramen and so on. The game changer for me were the Chocolate Wontons with Salted caramel sauce. They were lip smacking I must say. The concept and the dedication of the owner truly deserves a 5* so summing it up, a great experience and sharing it with you is more better. Thank you NoodleCanteen for hosting us.

Ambience: You have to go in the first floor to eat which is quite cozy in size, only 5/6 tables are available. But this won't stop you from acquiring the new taste. And this place is heaven for photographers. Taste: The food taste is really good and there is no deniability that it won't count if you are looking for Chinese/Korean cuisine, especially the dumplings. And you if you are not sure what to choose from the gigantic menu, go with the meal pack; it contains noodles and chicken/fish in a soup with quite deep ingredients. Service: Nothing to mention here, it is as good as the food. And the hygiene maintenance is quite nice here.

noodlecanteenindia 🍜has their Noodle November going on for the entire month of November. And I had to go and try out their noods!! . We started with the Herb Garden Noodle Soup🥗 and the Laksa Soup. The Herb Garden was a slightly spicy broth of veggies , chicken and chillis and noodles with a tang to it. The Laksa🥥 had a coconut based spiced flavour soup with rice noodles in it. . Next we tried the Thai Mince squares which was my personal favorite😋, minced chicken balls wrapped in crispy noodles served with a sweet sauce. We also tried the Som Tom Noodle Spring rolls which had a filling of rice noodles and veggies. In both the cases here, the dip was the star of the show being tangy sweet and really flavourful😍. . . We had a variety of noodles to try with a wide range of flavours🍜🍝🥗. Egg noodles in black bean sauce🥚 ,which had noodles made out of egg in a black bean and shitake mushroom sauce. Roasted tomato and basil noodles🍅, which had an intense tangy and aromatic flavor. The Harissa noodles, rice noodles with a lot of veggies ,chillis and chicken🌶️. The Peking Noodles ,having the Peri Peri taste and also my personal favorite 😋, I feel partly due to the taste being more familiar to my tongue than the others and why I feel you should try out the other noodles out so as to explore a new palette of flavours😋😍.

First visit to noodles canteen Kalyani Nagar. It's very difficult to go there since the entrance of Farzi Cafe is just next to this place ;) After a lot of dedication and self control we decided to not to go to Farzi cafe but here. Small joint, nearly 10-15 people capacity. They welcommed us with greetings. We ordered : Veg dim-sums : momos family members grown up in thai atmosphere. Soft and light dim sums accompanied with peanuts chutney and since my palate won't allow to me eat it with mild taste I had to ask for schezwan chutney Roasted pepper n sweetcorn soup : this was my favourite. Arrived in jail style mugs which was presentation wise unique but it was rusted on the edges Phad thai veg : first time tried this dish. Rice noodles prepared with strong flavour of peanuts and tamarind sauce. Amazing !! As per my misal-rassa-tarri palate just a little bit of spice missed in almost everything #foodgasm #foodielife #foodporn #PuneInnMyPlate Noodle Canteen

If there's anything above 5 stars. It's a small and beautiful place. You feel as if you are at home. Hospitality can be improved. The best time is when u have the passionate owners around. The 'Lemon Chilly Basil' fish is the most amazing dish they have. Actually I have tried everything. Customer since 2017 January. Never been disappointed. One more must try thing is the iced teas. Food cannot be described but you can visit the place. A must try when in Pune. Love you guys. Keep serving.

Small but cozy place. Food is great. Real experience of Asian food fusion. Very reasonable price and a great variety to choose from. Excellent service and staff. A must visit again place. Thank you for the lovely food.

The place may be a bit small, but it has the best Thukpa in Pune and the service is extremely friendly. They even tell recipes and ingredients of their dishes, if you're curious to know about trying something new. They have minion chopsticks (which they sell to an interested customer for 60 apiece if you're inclined to buy). I visit this place quite frequently for their Thukpa and Nasi Goreng. Absolutely adore this place!

Last night two friends and I had an amazing dining out experience at the Noodle Canteen in Kalyani Nagar. We had Roaster Pepper and Sweet Corn Soup, a salad called Buddha's Delight, Chinese Roast Rice With Egg and rounded off the meal with Chocolate Wantons. Amazing taste, excellent service and reasonable price all added up to a delightful experience and we have decided to visit this little canteen again soon.
Sukanya Samanta
Visited Noodle Canteen last month with friends. It's a small joint but serves great food with reasonable price. Loved it. Will visit again soon.

Noodle Canteen Last evening before school starts .. Had promised the kids a treat at a place of their choice. They simply asked for my phone and logged on to PEO.. after about 5 mins they zeroed down to Chinese Thai cusuine. So we planned Noodle Canteen. We requested our neighbors to join us too as they are also Big time Foodie's. After a long drive full of traffic we somehow reached our destination. Nice place .. small yet well lit. We met Ganesh who was the person who's suggestions were simply amazing. He was really attentive. We ordered 1) Manchow in Light Soy. (soup) 2) Hakka Noodle's Veg n Non Veg 3) Pad Thai Veg 4) Hot Garlic Veg 5) Korean Chicken Wings ( The Killer Item) 6) Chicken 65 7) Chilly Basil Prawns 8) Peri Peri Chicken 9) Chicken Fried Rice 10) Black Bean Pot Veg Best was the bill .. ONLY ₹2500 In all a very tasty dinner .. Service was what made us order more n more .. Too good.

I would see it all the time on my way. Started ordering when uber eats would give insane deals on this place. My mother in-law who lives in Andaman loves these noodles.

I have to take it every year religiously. I love their starters and khuasuey.

What I really love are the noodles. Nice thin noodles and full of flavours.

Vinayak
The restaurant accepted an order and the valet was assigned. It longer than the time displayed and I spoke to the valet - the restaurant was not handing over the food to him. I called the restaurant, they did not accept the call and then switched off the phone. Not very professional behavior. A simple call with an explanation would have sufficed. I'll not order from here in the future.
Sumukh Kane
The food quality is great but its highly overpriced.I paid 550 rs for a plate of dim-sums, a gravy and a small coke.Ridiculous
Paddy Amark
Ordered burnt garlic chicken noodles taste was good super impress with packing so nicely stuffed....

If you're looking for a nice affordable pan Asian restaurant then @noodlecanteenindia should be your choice. I have recently visited them and
The food you get here is tweaked a little bit to match the Indian palate. The recipes are quite good and trust me you won't be disappointed.

So in frame
Presenting : MAKING OF PEKING CHICKEN NOODLES
Rating. : 5.0/5.0

Will Recommend : DEFINITELY YES

I visited place with friends. Food was good and tasty.Spicy ramen soup is great, they serve it in big bowl like kadhai it is equal to full meal. I would suggest to order soup 1/2.
Its tiny place but value for money.
The Crazy Indian Chef
We find this place in Kalyani nagar. Restaurant is nit so big but staff is very friendly. We ordered khau suey and Fried Chicken momos. Khau suey was very good in taste. Momos we find little oily compare to others. Overall good experience here.
Sonal
Thanks for taking my feedback n arranging for a re order. Customer focused.

Great food my daughter loves the noodles here. I think what I appreciate most is that they use No MSG in their food.
Whatanidli
Miso ramen,Thukpa and Activated charcoal momos @noodlecanteenindia.The miso ramen was very sour, thukpa was absolutely fantastic. The momos are worth a try.I also tried their wings which were fantastic.Overall the food was good,I was expecting a lot from the miso ramen but that is what disappointed me the most, everything else on the menu is really good.
Alok Patro
It was a great experience at noodle canteen on a Thursday evening. I can say one of the best chinese joint all over pune.. liked the druken chicken and the tom kha noodles a lot. Would definitely recommend everyone to give this place a try and you would not regret. Good value for money for the portion and taste of food
Sakhen Oinam
This place is great to eat at but every time I order online it's not the same. We ordered seafood chilli noodles and charcoal infused chicken momos. There was no flavour in the noodles and it was just extremely oily. The momos were decent. The sauces however were not up to the mark. So if you want to eat from here, don't order, just go there. That is a better experience!

This place in kalyani nagar have mastered the art of making thai food.

Its a small place with nice Thai food. Service was also very good.

food - 5/5
ambience - 3.5/5
Service - 5/5

If you are a thai food lover then, this place is for you.

We decided to go here in lunch break as it was close to our office and we loved it.
A place near office, which is not harsh on the pocket and has very good taste, quality and quantity.

The original Noodle Canteen. Its a joy to see good food brands growing in Pune. I've been a regular here for years now and their food is always great. Must try their Khao Suey, Spicy Sesame Noodles, Peking Noodles. They make their noodles with fresh dough daily and you can tell with every bite. Tried their Veg fried rice this time and it was great as well.

Man chow soup cannot be sweet and runny. You cannot serve a fridge cold condiment with steaming hot dim sums. It’s criminal. Whilst delivering food, the food needs to look appetizing at the least. The noodles in the soup cannot be overcooked and slimy. The packaging cannot be leaking.

I had previously taken down my rating and review of Noodle Canteen in assurance of flawless experience in future. I have also well shared my poor experiences in detail with the management before putting this up again now.
When you run a business it’s a privilege. You cannot take a customer’s feedback and instructions lightly. Also, the experiences should not be defended with excuses. Rather they need to be worked on until improved.

I have always paid in full for my orders. Never demanded for a refund or discount. That wasn’t my agenda ever. But I’m extremely sad to find out that my request or instruction wasn’t considered important enough to be taken seriously.

However, if you’re dining in do try their Thai

Visited this cozy little outlet recently. Been hearing about it for quite sometime. We tried a starter which tasted Sweet and Chilli Chicken Strips and I ccx annot stress enough about how amazing it was! You gotta try it to know about it.
And then we tried a Thai Pot probably which had chicken cooked with coconut milk and rice served with it. This was quite okay tbh. Overall, good food and service. But unluckily both my foods were slightly on the saltier side but they also did offer me to switch the dishes if we wanted. So, cheers!
Nitin
Superb food amazing service at very affordable prices..everyone should atleast try ones and you will always keep on coming.the manager is very supportive and always greets you with a smile..don't miss. cheers

The Thupka had Maggie masala added to it. Almost no other taste. The pot roast mushroom soup was as sweet as a sweet dish.
The staff keeps shouting and abusing and it's an unpleasant experience when you are with your family.
Not a place you should visit.
Mittali
Visited them for dinner and extremely loved their Chinese food especially the stomach filling soup
Detailed review coming soon

I had ordered tomato basil noodles
The taste was good.
However, the price was kind of more than average.
The noodles were fresh and tasted well
Vishwani06
I ordered my all time favorite hakka noodles and they tasted good. I ordered at my place because, there not a lot of place to sit at the facility.
I also ordered lemon ice tea which was far best ice tea i have ever had. 5/5 for ice tea.
Sasneha
I've been here a few times and the dishes I've tried have never disappointed me. This time we had spicy ramen and miso ramen. Both of them had a really good flavour and were not salty even when it was soy based.
The Hanoi rolls are my favourite and I have them each time I'm here. It helps clear the pallete and has a really refreshing taste.
Akshay Walkhade
It was very bad experience. Firstly it took lot of time to serve the food. Starters ordered took more than half an hour to serve. We had to wait another half an hour(more I guess) for main course after that. We ordered veg Singapore noodles which he made too salty that we had no option than ask him to take back. We ordered 3-4 types of noodle in veg and Non-Veg. All were so oily like we get on roadside Chinese stalls. Also food was very spicy unnecessary. In short you will get same experience as you get at roadside Chinese food stalls. Few things I liked are in starter, drunken red(chicken), in desert, chocolate wonton.

This place was in my wishlist for a while so I finally visited them yesterday with my friends...
It's a small cute cafe with amazing food!!
Everything I tried was delicious, except momos (I didn't like it much)
If you are Thupka fan like me, then you must visit them🤩
Kushagra Saxena
The place is very authentic and the food served tastes brilliant, the staff was rather supportive. They definitely could have a better ambience but for chinese lovers it is a good place.
Mudasser Aly
Great place to serve your taste buds some continental cuisine. Great variety of tastes available all over from South Asia. Bao is a must try.
Sneha Shinde
I ordered two dishes and they were both sweet... Yes sweet! Absolutely not what their description said. I wish I could turn back time.

When in Pune, you definitely need to add this outlet in your itinerary. A small outlet which you can miss out but once you have had their Khao Suey nothing could stop you from revisiting it. A must try dish and a must visit place in Pune.

Dish : Khao Suey (Rs. 375/-)
Tender juicy chicken in relishing coconut milk based curry and some burnt garlic noodles on the side. Hands down the best Khao Suey I have ever had.

Noodle Canteen is no new for a person who loves Oriental Cuisine. This joint offers one the best Asian Cuisines in the city. Located on a busy street in Kalyani Nagar, this is a cute little joint with minimal interiors with an outdoor seating. Gives a feeling of any street food joint in Asian countries.

So a day before "Shravan", we planned a dinner at Noodle Canteen along with fellow foodies, and none of us were disappointed with the dishes they served.

We started our dining experience with a variety of starters followed by some Noodle preparations. It would have been unfair skipping Noodles at "Noodle Canteen", right? And we concluded our dinner with their famous Wantons.

The portions, The Quality, The Taste, & The Service. Everything was top notch. Here is a list of dishes we satisfied our hunger pangs with:

Chicken Salt & Pepper
Chicken Activated Charcoal Dimsums
Chicken Mapo Baozi
Drunken Red Prawns
Prawns in Lemon Chilli Basil
Charcoal Roast Chicken
Hot Schezwan Wings
Chicken Pot Roast Mushrooms
Chicken Manchow Soup in Light Soy Sauce
Soupy Chicken Dimsums
Stir Fry Vegetables
Korean Barbecue Wings
Bao
California Veg Roll
Chicken 65
Chicken Spicy Sesame Noodles
Chocolate Wantons
In House Iced Tea

Mr. Mrunal, a young chap full of enthusiasm receives his patrons with a smile and is always ready to give a patient listening to the suggestions made. Will visit your table after every dish is served to make sure things are in place. Kudos to him and his team.

And as I always say "Satisfaction Guaranteed"

I used to like the food from this place but my last experience with them was nothing short of horrendous. Ordered for a prawn tom kha soup and when it got to me the prawns were visibly old and stale. Really sad. The Soup was okay otherwise, but rotten prawns really killed it for me

I’ve been a fan of this place ever since it’s opened and you can check my ZoMATO order history to see the sheer number of times I’ve ordered from this place. They serve the yummiest oriental cuisine you can find in Kalyani Nagar or the whole of Pune. Had another relaxed lunch today with my buddies and couldn’t fault even one dish.

Head to @noodlecanteenindia for some satiating Asian staples which are light on the pocket !
Here's what we tried -
-Mapo Baozi (chicken)
Originally from China, these are steamed buns with a minced chicken stuffing in chilly sauce.
- Spicy Chicken Ramen
This was by far the best dish we came across. A perfect blend of spices and flavour, cosy up to this on a rainy day !
- Peaking Noodles (chicken)
This is great for a quick bite but needs major improvements as a dish.
- Lemon chilly basil Lotus stem
With a handful of restaurants offering lotus , we're glad that this dish was delicious and super crunchy. A must try !
- Chicken black bean pot
This dish checks off authenticity on the list, a rich and delicious gravy which goes perfectly with steamed rice.
- chicken satay
- Chocolate Wontons
These were yum, crispy and chocolatey, perfect end to our meal.
#jfa#foodie#puneblogger#punerestaurants#punefoodie#foodblogfeed#asianfood#pocketfriendly#goodfood#foodstagram#foodblogger#food#foodphotography#foodporn#potd#instafood

We went to Noodle canteen Kalyani Nagar for the second time. We ordered Momo's and spring roll for the starters.

The Momo's had a charcoal flavour and a black skin which tasted amazing. The spring roll had a filling of glass noodles within them, that was something different and nice.

The we ordered a khao Suey and a garlic noodles with a hot garlic vegetables. The taste was superb, but the only problem that we faced was of the mosquitoes. They were making the who experience bad. One or two mosquitos even fell in the dish I was eating. So great food but a very average experience. Hope the team makes some to effort to correct this to improve the customer experience.

Great food and variety. Soups and Curries are specialties. I've tried almost every dish from here and Thai Pot remains my favourite. Appetizers are great as well.

This place is a must try for all the Asian food lovers. I literally had the best Asian food so far. The seating is enough and the indoor seating is much more cozier.
The staff and the owner, really very kind and courteous. Explained us everything in detail.
What all we were served:
1. This place is located in Kalyani Nagar. We ordered online through Zomato:

Delivery was on time.

The packaging was good.

Veg Massaman Curry- Accompanied by well cooked fragrant rice.: The texture of the curry was good, the fresh exotic vegetables were perfectly cooked. However, the taste was a little too sweet.

Vegetable Activated Charcoal Dimsum - These were great, awesome stuffing.

Will be trying more dishes from this place. A good option for Asian food lovers and not very heavy on pocket.

Hi. Ordered from this outlet. Food reached me at 8.40 pm. One large size miso ramen soup, shrimp... One large thapko Tibetan soup(hope spelling is right😬) of chicken.. and one plate chicken dimsums.

Miso ramen soup... A big no but these are only my personal opinions as my palate isn't an experimental type. The Tibetan soup is OK.. And so are the dimsums. This place is different from the Indo chinese joints dotted every corner of India.
I might try something else tomorrow if I need to experiment 😬
Last but not least... At 21.50 IST tonightI rang up the no. Given in their zomato profile. The call was recorded. I asked why there were no sauces accompanying the soups. The guy said they don't provide sauces cwith soups but if I requested they would. That's OK.

But I felt the customer service operator was struggling for words. He had a hard time responding... His English needs improvement, and he just didn't seem to show any interest. I request the management to put someone more 'alive '. Thank you. I liked the packaging.

Serving hearty Pan Asian delicacies from Korea, China, Vietnam, Thailand (oh, you name it and it’s there). This restaurant gives roof to some of the most authentic Asian Dishes bursting with flavors. You are guaranteed to relish your soul-satisfying food at a very affordable rate.

The ambience of this place is same as that if the local eateries you’ll find in the Asian countries. Located in the busy streets of Kalyani Nagar, this cute little café has outdoor seating as well.

It’s been long since I have been craving for pan Asian food, hence I was really looking forward to this place and yes, it did stand up to my expectation. We kick started our dining experience with Shanghai potatoes which is now going to be my go-to snack, also not to forget about the addition of the sweet chili sauce which really helped in enhancing its flavor.

Then we went on to have Chicken Satay with peanut sauce, this dish comes from the streets of Thailand and I bet once you try this Thai grilled chicken on skewers, you would never get enough of it. The peanut sauce they serve with it is made in-house and it definitely enhances the flavours.

Next on the list was their bowl loaded with flavors – miso ramen noodle soup. This miso soup is actually a soup originated in Japan with a hint of ginger-spiced miso and I am not a fan of Japenese soup but this one tastes yum and is definitely making it to my list.

Next, we tried soupy dim sums, the soup-filling inside made every bite really juicy. These small bites of joy will definitely make you hungry for more.

Lastly, we tried their very famous Khao Suey which I am literally going gaga about as these Burmese curry called Khao suey with burnt garlic noodles is sure to steal your heart away. Noodles cooked in spiced coconut milk takes this dish to the next level.

Overall, I truly enjoyed my Pan Asian dining experience and if you are looking for a place which can calm your Asian- food craving down, then this is the place to be!
Vegetable salt and pepper should not be red in colour. Also, quantity quite low for both Hakka noodles and vegetable salt and pepper. Please increase quantity and improve salt and pepper vegetables. It tastes like crispy vegetables.

Noodle canteen is by far one of my most preferred places to gorge pan Asian food at. The prices are super affordable and portions are hearty. The staff is helpful and they undoubtedly have a superb chef. The seating is cozy.
Here's what we had-

Chicken dimsums- loved the comfort of these little bundles of deliciousness. The filling was super tasty and the dimsum parcels were of the perfect thickness.

Thai Pot- classic Thai Red curry with a very generous serving of steamed rice. Loved how simple and yet spot on the flavour profiles were.

Absolutely loved coming here. I'm definitely dropping in again to treat my taste buds!
Got hosted by the owner and the experience was amazing! The activated charcoal dimsums and KHAOSUEY is highly recommended. The Burmese curry was so damn delicious. The staff was friendly and the ambience was good. The dining area is quite small but what matters is that the food is great!

This is a great little shop situated in Kalyani Nagar, here you can find the most authentic cuisine from most of the Asian counties such as Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, China etc. The owner of this place is absolutely amazing, he is quite interactive and very enthusiastic about his passion for making people aware of the most authentic Asian cuisine. The food and hygiene were applaudable.
I'm gonna rate this place on different parameters for all of you:-

Ambience:- Decor was on point, the place gave an amazing feel of this authentic Vietnamese shop.

Food:- We ordered lots of things, all the things were quite unique in there own way and the presentation part was my favourite as it was very Asian and authentic.

Quality:- The items served to us were absolutely superb qualitywise. It's quite difficult to maintain the quality when you are experimenting and trying to introduce new dishes to the Indian palate but they have done quite a commendable job.

Service:- The service was pretty amazing, everything was delivered on time and the staff was considerate and sharp to make sure that they don't bring another dish before one gets finished. The owner was quite friendly and had great knowledge of whatever he was serving.

Hygiene:- Fell in love with the cleanliness of this place, super hygienic I must say.

I would highly recommend this place to the people who always wanted to travel to Asian countries, their food is just like a tour of your favourite Asian places.

I ordered nonveg spicy seasame noodles and Korean BBQ wings. Noodles was good but korean bbq wings were the worst wings I've ever had It was stale, Bad smell was coming from all chicken pieces. disgusting....not expected from such high rated restaurant...

Ambience : The place is cozy and can accommodate 5 groups at max. There is AC in the top seating area and has beautiful handcrafted decor. Hardcopies of Instagram pics shared with #noodleCanteen gives it a very personal touch.

Service : The staff was extremely sweet and accommodating and the service was one of the quickest I have ever experienced.

Food: We tried manchurian soup, chilly paneer and Burmese pot. Manchurian soup was my personal favorite, it had mushrooms in it which made it even more delicious. Chilly paneer was good too however it was dripping in oil. Burmese (burnt garlic noodles ) pot came with yellow curry which was made using coconut. The noodles were really good and the yellow curry was a different experience that might take some getting used to.

They messed up my order but they were quick to deliver a replacement. The staff was friendly and cooperative and the food as usual is great!

Food Is Life
We ordered chilli potato, burnt garlic noodles, basil chilli paneer and ice tea.
Everything was ok in terms of taste. Chilli potato was quite salty however rest all the items were good. What i didnt like was place was too much noisy as they played music in loud volume. Also there were some one who was keeping calling NEPALI / kancha something like that (may be to chef)... Overall good experience.

Sounds yumm na? i know.

And then there was Activated Charcoal Noodles & Dimsums ( Chicken / Veg )
as i was having it 1st time was so excited about this by seeing those amazing clicks people have shared so far... and boy... was really something Different !! liked it !! honestly cant say i loved it but definitely liked it !!

Coming to food we had:
*Spicy chicken Ramen : A bowl with chicken, egg, veggies and hot piping soup all in one. It's spicy and really delicious.
*Vegetable thukpa: It was okay in taste.
*Korean bbq chicken wings: The best of all. The sweet and spicy taste of it will make you go crazy for it.
*Phad thai: Its stir fried noodles served with omlette in ii and topped with peanut powder. Only the people who love peanut will love it.
*Shanghai potatoes: A perfect fusion chinese dish for all Chinese lovers out there.
*Charcoal noodles and charcoal Dimsums: Tried these two dishes for the first time and it didn't disappoint me at all. They not only look different but it's also good for health as it contains activated charcoal which detoxify the body.
*In Ice tea they had 3 different types of in-house ice tea i.e, peppermint, lemon and classic. Loved the classic one.
*Mapo baozi: In india also known as Momos. It was perfectly steamed, the filling of chicken and veggies were perfectly cooked. They serve mapo baozi with schewan chutney which they prepare themselves using schewan powder all the way from it's origin.

The best of all was the chocolate wontons. It was crispy and filled with chocolate and dipped in salted caramel sauce. Not too sweet, taste was on point.

The owner and staffs were very friendly and courteous. Overall a great experience will definitely visit again.

It's a place to chill, you must say your friends gang can totally have fun here. An establishment which serves you pan Asian food that is exquisite and delicious.

A blogger's view;

Food Blogger Rajat Koul

I always order vegetarian khao suey with garlic fried rice and I think it's the best. The quantity is sufficient for two people. It has the perfect amount of veggies. I consider it to be my go-to thing to order.

I've been a patron of NC for quite a bit of time. It is run by a young couple and they work hard and it shows. The place is a hole-in-the-wall resto in Kalyani and the outside seating is pleasant. I wouldn't sit inside as the kitchen is directly beneath and it gets HOT.
The food is decent. I've tried most of their menu so won't write about specifics but they have their own take on oriental food. It is slightly on the spicier side. The oils and spices can be controlled a little bit. But the taste is great. The portions are very decent, generous even. The prices are reasonable.Takeaway quantities are GREAT.
Honourable mentions:Khow SueyKorean BBQ WingsSingapore Chilli NoodlesChocolate Wontons

We were having Thai food craving and decided to try out a new place. So that's how we arrived at this joint. It's a small and comfy place. It's mostly a takeaway or online ordering joint. We ordered Thai Pot with steamed rice and Khao Suey which was served with burnt garlic rice.
Don't get fooled by the size of this place as the food was better than what I expected them to be. They maintained the authenticity of the dish.
The serving size was pretty nice. And the chicken was properly cooked. It came with a reasonable price tag. My favorite was Khao Suey.
The service was also nice.
I would surely visit this place again and would recommend to all the Thai food lovers out there.

Fantastic place to get your chinese food craving fix. Must try the khao suey and Phad thai noodles here. Nice cozy seating area quick service. Highly Recommend it

Tiny place on the main road you may miss it if you aren't looking for it. Always bustling with people. About the food, extraordinary is as simply as I can put it. Must try there variety of noodles all hand made fresh as per the menu.

Had the opportunity to try food which was ordered as a takeaway from here.
We had tried their chicken hakka noodles which was pretty good. It had a generous portion and completely satisfied our hunger. My rating(4.5/5)
We tried their chicken fried rice which also was delicious. My rating (4/5)
We had Chocolate Wanton which is a fried wanton stuffed with chocolates and caramel sauce which was the best way to end the meal. It had a generous portion and was completely yummy. Recommended. My rating (5/5)
Ordered from here last night only to recieve overtly oily and overtly salty food. The paneer was definitely stale and the massaman curry had more salt than curry. WORST Chinese food ever!
Prity Das
I ordered chicken Pad Thai noodles from Noodle canteen.
To start with the quantity, the serving is generous.
Talking about taste, it did not work right.
Chicken was missing from the dish. Seems like they forgot to add, probably a spoon of shredded chicken a present.
Excessive amount of food coloring was used.
Owing to a very bad experience, would not recommend it at all.
Akash Raj
I did see the shop from across the street once. It is modest in size. Just by looking you wouldn't believe the tasty food they produce. The chicken burnt garlic noodles were absolutely delicious and as a person who likes quantity, I wasn't disappointed. A really good mix of quality and quantity!
Ullas
Pathetic. Probably their chef has not seen a Nasi Goreng before, whatsoever the case may be, in the name of Nasi Goreng they gave me a normal fried and burned rice and an omlette on top of it. I dont understand why the restaurant wants to do something they do not know, they can prepare what they are good it and sell to earn respect.
Shweta Dabholkar
WHY DO YOU NOT HAVE THE CHICKEN THUKPA ON THE ONLINE ORDERING MENU! I tried ordering a few times, and called to ask them to add it to the menu and they just stopped answering my calls! How rude!!!
Themoodyfoody
Tried their pot roast mushroom chicken soup, chicken Bao and chocolate wantons.
Great flavors and would have probably tasted better if it was hotter.
But this is great comfort food and the quantities and prices were good too.
Would definitely order again..... WAS MY REVIEW FOR THEM LAST YEAR

Their soup, when ordered again had too much soy sauce.

However, what disappointed me the most was that their quality has totally degraded. I ordered Massaman Curry today and they didn't have it so they asked me if I was okay with the alternate of Thai curry made less spicy and I was willing.
The curry was served with boiled noodles and it tasted good however when I had a chicken piece it was annoyingly uncooked and spoilt the entire curry for me as there were just leaves for taste and chicken which couldn't be enjoyed and absolutely no vegetables.

Hope you guys can get back on track again.

Visited them last month it's mostly a take away joint with few tables on the first floor. Tried multiple items on the menu and the food was fine. Though most of the items in the menu are good not all of them are authentic. The Korean wings are really nice , so was the noodles. They must be good for delivery but for dining out it's a small joint with just 6 odd tables. For the prices charged opportunity area would be having more meat in the dishes. As their prices should also match the quality and quantity of food.

I ordered noodles from this place and what I got was uncooked Wheat strings which looked liked this . Seriously? This is the kind of food you guys are delivering . Just because customer is ordering online and paying you upfront doesn’t gives you the right to give this kind of inedible food . Shame on you guys

Noodle Canteen is a small but comfy place in Kalyani Nagar, where you can get Yummy Noodles along with a variety of Chinese as well as Thai food delicacies.

Korean BBQ Wings – This was one of the best chicken wings I have had in a long time. They were perfect in taste, and were very tasty. The color was very deceiving, but the taste covered for it 😊 (4/5)

Chicken Chilly – Traditional starters with a perfect blend of spices. (4/5)

Chicken 65 – We ordered this on the recommendation of the Manager, but somehow this didn’t meet our expectations. This was okay, and some of the chicken pieces were a bit chewy. This was very much opposite to the expectations set by chicken chilly and BBQ wings. (2.5/5)

We were pretty full with the starters, so we decided to take a stop for our lunch. Will definitely visit for another round, to taste and review the main course dishes.

Ambience – 3/5

Service – 4/5

Food – 4/5

Overall – 4/5

DISGUSTING , THE FOOD PACKED AND SENT IN FOIL PAPER PLATE WAS VERY POORLY DONE . AS IF IT WAS DROPPED AND BADLY HANDLED. REALLY DISAPPOINTING WITH UN-PROFESSIONALISM.

I happen to order chicken Hakka noodles from here today via order number 1089147293. The taste was not upto the mark and the quantity of chicken was very less. Overall, a bad experience.

A cozy place in kalyani nagar to have yummy noodles and thai curries. The charcoal dimsums were too amazing loved the thupka as well. The hakka noodles with curry went really well and the chicken wings were on point. The potato 65 was tasty also they have authentic schezuan chutney made from sczhuan peppers which is a must try. The burnt garlic rice was tasty as well. The best was the salted caramel and chocolate wontons which were devored by us in no time. The owner is really informative about the dishes he serves and the place is a must try once.

The Chicken Japanese Ramen was excellent and the quantity was spectacular. As it was heavy, I ordered the Chicken Chinese Bao and it turned out to be a masterpiece.

The two dishes made my brother, on a vegetarian diet, try out these dishes as well. Obviously, he loved it as much as I did.

Overall, a must visit place for it's distinct efforts on each dish served.

My binge watching sessions often demand the company of chinese food, so I ordered from this place during one such sessions. I had ordered Paneer Chilli, Veg Burnt Garlic Noodles and Veg Spicy Sesame Noodles. The portions served for both the noodles were humungous and that of paneer chilli was pretty decent. I would rate the dishes as:
Paneer Chilli : 8/10
Veg Burnt Garlic Noodles : 7.5/10
Veg Spicy Sesame Noodles : 5/10 - Wasn't really spicy; infact it was kind of sweet

Love their food. Highly recommend the Pad Thai- is the best in Pune! And of course, their variety of soups is also very good and quite different from any other place I have known!

// noodle canteen //
I know I'm super late. I was here at NC to try their Noodle November menu.
Coming to the place small and comfortable two storey restaurant. Outside seating as well as they have made arrangements at upper deck.
.
.
Coming to food

•Started with their two main soups LAKSA SOUP AND HERB GARDEN NOODLE SOUP.
Laksa soup was something coconut based touch with rice noodles in it. Not too spicy but can fulfill ur tastebuds.
Herb noodle soup was a bit spicy and with cooked veggies not very thick.

•THAI MINCE SQUARES
Was something unique and the taste was out of the box. Minced Chicken wrapped in between on crispy fried noodles with their in house sauce. Which added stars.

•SOM TOM NOODLE SPRING ROLLS
A combination of Crispyness and moist. Outer part is of crunchy rice noodles filled with all the well cooked fresh veggies. Served with sauce.

•BIBIM GUKSU
TYPE OF HEALTHY SALAD NOODLES with some veggies tossed in their in house ingredients.

•EGG NOODLES IN BLACK BEANS.
These dish was the best dish.
Egg noodles so well cooked u cannot even imagine. Noodles mixed and tossed in black beans and mushroom sauce. Noodle texture was blackish.

•PEKKING NOODLES
Simple sober is the definition of this plate. The taste was like , on noodles Peri Peri was sprinkled.

•CHOCOLATE WANTONS
Okay its my first experience of wantons. But yeah it was good. But yeah the chocolate syrup does not spill out.

All over i had here was total surprise cause in every dish, here sauce was also the main ingredient which can be the taste twister for that particular dish.
So far the best south Asian food i had in pune. This place is value for money.
Service was at its best. The owner and the staff was friendly and kind to explain us the exact thing about the dishes served.

There was some offer and I got this noodles for Rs. 80 . I thought I would get good quantity but the dish which may cost around 150 & them giving at 80 they reduced the price and halved the quantity. I thought I'd be getting more.
Anyway the taste of the noodles was amazing. I enjoyed whatever I ate n I wished I had ordered two dishes instead of just one. Unlike other restaurants where they put less vegetables and not properly cooked, this had everything in right proportion. I really loved it. But disappointed with the quantity. Worth going twice in a month.

Amazing food..tried the nasi goreng..sesame chilly noodles chicken..burnt garlic noodles and steamed chicken dimsum..taste quality and quantity superb...highly recommended

noodlecanteenindia 🍜has their Noodle November going on for the entire month of November.

I was very excited to go to this place after having seen it so much on instagram. So I finally went here for lunch one day. I got the pot roasted nushroom soup, which came in a pretty mug and it was loaded with flavour. It was one the best soups that I've ever had. The only issue was that the container was metal so the soup was piping hot and wouldn't cool down at all. So I ended up burning the roof of my mouth 😷
I also got the spicy sesame noodles which were ample in quantity and pretty delicious too. For desert I got the chocolate wontons with caramel sauce. They were tasty but weren't chocolatey enough.
Overall it's a nice place for a quick lunch. I wish they had better seating and ambience. But the tasty food definitely makes up for it.
