Review Magnolia - Pune

Good place to do business with success ❤️🎉💐🌹👍👍👍
Rhythmic Melancholy
Upcoming business off baner pashan link road. Construction is moving at a fast pace, seems their is some hope of completion of the incomplete baner pashan link road.(Wakeshwar chowk to Rolling hills). This would be a prime location and business hub just incase the road opens up.

I ordered food through uber eats and veg manchow soup, chicken manchow soup, triple shezwan veg and triple shezwan chicken. Firstly the order was delayed front be restaurant end by almost 45 mins, secondly the chicken manchow soup was filled with cubes of paneer yes it had chciken aswell the taste of both soups was awful. Triple shezwan chicken rice had no chicken in the gravy not a single piece only few onion and capsicum again the taste was a completely below average we 6 of ate and none liked the food so taste being subjective argument does not stand here. I called up and have my feedback to the management. They ruined my meal never to order again.

Its our all time favorite for thai food, their thai red curry is probably one of best you could get around. The service sometimes is a bit slow, but I dont mind it that much
Paroma Ghosh Bhattacharya
It would be an understatement to say I love this place. I love this place beyond reason. The sitting is comfortable and the staff is friendly. The food is super good and the portions are huge. We have often went to Magnolia for team dinners as well as for smaller celebrations and the food has never disappointed. Chinese starters are very good while the chicken biryani is to die for. Comfort foods like dal khichdi and alu paratha are also tasty.
Chaitanya Palande
The food quality has gone down considerably. The lamb in hunan sauce tasted like Apple cider vinegar. Service was barely average at best....!
Swapnil
One of those restaurants which will never disappoint you. Been there many times with friends and family and have always come out satisfied with the food quality and taste.
Smriti Sharma
I ordered chinese given the review but it was very bad i mean there is no taste and so costly just not worth it. Wont recommend this place. Chicken not fresh and so hard..really disappointed this place..
Sreejita Das
very bad experience. been there today. ordered a soup and konjee lamb. the soup came on time and was okay okay. the other starter took forever. finally after one hour, had to leave the restaurant.
The place has decent ambience, you can visit with your family and friends.
I ordered Kabab and Chicken Bhuna, both were delicious and has enough quantity for two. Serving time is not more than 10-15 minutes.
Kedar
Great food. Courteous staff. Decent ambience. I have been to this restaurant a couple of times and really enjoyed the overall experience. Good for Thai food lovers.
Rupali Sarkar
Been there last night and order chicken starters which taste wise good and ambience is good and they have screen for world cup specially. It is a family restaurant so good for both friends and family gatherings. Thank you
Sakshi Vishwa
The ambience was okay. I chose to dine in the sports bar. But I smelt some peculiar smell in the Hakka chicken recipe. The chicken burnt garlic rice was good enough.
Rohan Carvalho
The food was good for taste. The service and ambience is also good. But the quality was very bad. We suffered from food poisoning and vomiting the other day.

So this place is located in heart of Baner Road, opposite to Mouli petrol pump and quite satisfactory to meet your casual Chinese cravings. Decent ambience and would say polite service. You can say value for money as it provides 1 plus 1 on zomato gold.
We have ordered chicken Shezwaan and basil fish is starters, both were good with very good portion size. More than enough for three people I would say. Then we ordered triple mixed chicken rice noodles and that was average, that come along a veg Chinese gravy. Again portion size was sufficient for 2-3 people.Overall I would say
Food: 3.5/5
Ambience : 3.5/5
Service: 4/5
Value for money: 4.5/5 (considering Zomato Gold)
Magnolia is located just opposite to the corporation bank.

It's a bar restaurant. Visited here for dinner.

Staff was friendly, service was quick and food was tasty.

Recommended to try: Murg kalanari kabab.
Rohan Sindgikar
Magnolia has always been the go to place for some decent food. You realise that the kitchen is hygienic and the chef is well paid when you try some well cooked dishes. Just experiment and enjoy their cuisine and courteous staff.
Soumik Talukdar
Had been to this place a lot many times.
A very good place to satiate your appetite for something Asian. I would recommend that one definitely give their garlic butter prawns as I always have this dish mandate in my every visit. Their chilly garlic prawns are also a good preparation. We had the drums of heaven. They were a tad bit sweet than I had expected.
They also have a bar.
With regards to the ambiance it gives you the feeling of the old school restaurant that are present at Park Street, Kolkata.
All in all a good experience.
Shubham Wange
Staff not so attentive. AC not working well. No promotion about Zomato Gold. I told everything twice and then it was acted upon. Air conditioning is too poor. A place like this should also promote Zomato but nothing was told.
Manali Patil
The worst place. Very late service. I had to ask as times to place my order. The Air conditioning was not working properly. They didn't tell us about using zomato gold either.
The Chow Squad
good and quite place with soft classic instrumental music in the back ground to relax with glass of lager.
you get a old school feeling with it's early '80's styled interiors.
I had been here on a Wednesday night soo it wasn't the most busiest of places which is what I exactly needed.
The food was top notch. I ordered chicken crispy onion & Capsicum, and the chicken actually had a real good crisp to it. which is rare these days. for the main course we had chicken triple rice which was very good at taste but didn't have a egg topped on the rice or chicken chunks in the gravy.

bottom line: good quite place for a chat with colleagues, friends, loved ones with good friends food over a few drinks.
Romit Pradhan
If you are just crazy about the ambiance and not much bothered about the taste then this place isn't for you. There is something about the Chicken Laziz biryani here which makes you forget about all the worries. The masala preparation is next level.
Bikas Ray
I have been going there for 5 years now. There are very few restaurant in Baner area where you feel to go repeatedly. The food us very good.. particularly thai dishes. Ambience ia good too.
We went there for the first time. The ambience of the restaurant is good; nothing too fancy and nothing too bad. It is a decent place for family dinners.
The staff is courteous and professional.

We ordered steam vegetable dumplings, Thai yellow curry veg and noodle soup and chicken triple schezwan fried rice.

They served with the soup first. It had a coconut base. It was thick and creamy and delicious. It tasted kinda like Burmese khao suey. The soup was hot and really good. They had some cabbage and noodles in the soup. It’s a must try if you are a fan of coconut flavour.
The dumpling were fully stuffed. The taste was bland like it should be. The crunchiness in the vegetables inside was perfect. I just wish the sauce they served it with was a little spicy. I didn’t like the sauce much. It was a disappointment for me.

The triple schezwan rice was served with some fried noodles on top, mix of rice and noodles, loads of small pieces of chicken and other spices and a thick curry like soup. It was served with a soup which was really good. The taste was not too spicy but accurate enough. The quantity was also good. Chicken was soft and tender. Overall a good dish, neither mind blowing nor too bad.

Overall a decent place to have a family dinner.

With Kavita Tickoo

Ambience is quite peaceful, food is also very tasty. Sabj dum biryani was really great. Service is also good. Worth try restaurant in baner.
Anuj Manerikar
A hotel that has been in the Baner scene for more than ten years. They have a separate dining section for the family and a section for drinks and also for smoking on the second floor. The ambience is nice. Coming to the food, they serve amazing north Indian food. We loved the food. The chicken and the paneer dishes were really good. The tandoors were cooked nice, soft and juicy. The chicken biryani was right with all the flavours and lots of chicken. Chinese starters were great as well. One minus point here is that the service is really slow. This needs to be improved on. The only reason we ate less was because of the slow service. This hotel is a Zomato gold partner so that's a win if you are a gold partner. The pricing is moderate just like all the other family restaurants.
Bidhanbhj
Food is awesome here. Lots of variety available at reasonable prices. Waiters are courtious. Nice restaurent to visit with family. I will recommend this place.

Magnolia has been my go to restaurant since the time I have arrived in Pune! I am a bong and a non vegetarian foodie, I say that because when I eat out I hardly eat order anything but non veg. I visit this place every fortnight. Introduced to me by my Kashmiri Pandit friend this place has never let me down. Interestingly, they serve amazing Chinese, mughlai - esp the kebabs and also bong food. Not many talk about this but some of the waiters are Bengali and they actually had a Special Durga Pujo menu! So a must try if you want to try some finger licking good food. For all the bongs out there do not miss their mutton kasha and bhaat (rice)!
Maneesh Dudpuri
Tried Thai food but was not up to the mark. The lamb appeared to be a bit smelly. The Thai curry was though average. The service was average.
Amey Chavan
Best dinning outlet. The food is awsome and the service is good. I liked the ambiance and the owners take great interest in their customer and customer service. I like the way they take care of their customers.
Ameya Divekar
The subz handi was really well prepared and the veg fried rice was delicious. Had a fantastic dinner with family. They have a cute fish tank to entertain kids. The staff was courteous and gave us a high chair for our toddler
Tushar Jadhav
I am visiting this place for the second time. I love eating prawns here. Food is very authentically cooked and literally my soul gets satisfied. I recommend this place for the food lovers.
Chandrashekhar Bhosle
Gem of a place
extremely courteous service and amazing food .. compliments to the chef. The place has a nice warm vibe, most importantly no loud music. Perfect place for quality time with family or friends
Tried the Matka chicken kabab, Bhuna chicken masala and Paneer Banjara masala - all were perfectly done
Prajyot Sathe
Normal place, nothing special. The service is a bit slow (may be because we were sitting in a bar located on the first floor) and food taste was also not great. Chicken was good but dal khichdi was not tasty at all. On letting the management know about it, they had nothing to say and just kept staring. Improvement required !
Sandeepan Nath
Thai curry dishes here are great. Try chicken Thai pot rice if you are solo and don't want to order rice and curry separately. There was a limited edition of a rice dish cooked in lotus leaf, which was great. Please bring it back!
Ria Bhadani
This place is simple with amazing food and reasonable prices. I have been here several times and love their butter chicken. The food is good and so is the service. The ground floor is like any family restaurant and the lounge area is a little dark and cozy. They have time to time offers on beer.I would recommend this place if you are looking for good food at reasonable prices or want to have a few drinks while watching your favourite sport.

Highly recommended for Thai Food. Good place for family and friends. Ambiance is nice, staff is prompt and polite, so service is fast. Will definitely visit again and again.

This is my first review for the hotel after visiting several times...
Ambiance - soft but not that great...
Food - Good... We had Tangdi Kabab in starter three pieces of leg cooked very nicely and was very tasty.. After that we had chicken dum biryani and Mutton dum biryani which were also nicely cooked.. Chicken biryani was more tastier than Mutton..
Quantity - important part... Was so so.. We were three people.. Both individual biryani are sufficient for 2 people only..
Staff - all young people in the staff... Should try to be more professional and friendly and more cooperative..
Mohan Mahajan
I was disappointed on my 3rd visit to this place. Ordered 1)Thai veg pot rice, 2) Dragon chopsuey, 3) Subji dum biryani, 4) veg phad thai. Did not like the taste at all and was highly disappointed.
Giving one star for good ambience.
Pranav Pavithran
Weren't left with much options so ordered from here. Turned out to be one of the best chicken main course I have ever had. The chicken lahori over here is to die for. The butter chicken was good too. The rotis were perfectly made too. Will definitely go to the restaurant just for the Chicken Lahori.
Mangesh Randive
This place can be suggested if you want to have South East Asian food. You can find good quality of these cusines. Specialties are Thai and Chinese and should try that. Rest can be termed as average. Ambience is average.
Service here is good and they have enough parking space.
Sachin
A good place to have dinner with your family..Staff is very courteous..ambience is good..and the last thing food taste meet the expectations..
Ruchika Mohite
The best place on baner road for Punjabi cuisine! Vegetarian or non-vegetarian you name it. We visit this place for our corporate lunches and the service is impeccable. At times they are slow but the food quality is amazing. And they have zomato gold too!!
ROHIT SAWANT
The best Thai food in Pune. Green thai curry is really a must. Service is fast and ambience is also good. The management must open outlets in other parts of Pune too.
Bhavika Shreyas Shetty
Its a super place for really really delicious food. Don’t expect a fancy setup, just jump to the menu and order anything that grabs your attention first! Almost everything on the menu is good. We were a big group when we went, we bought almost every dish and trust me not a single one disappointed us!
Vegetarian, Chicken or Sea food its safe to eat there without thinking twice about the taste or even the quantity! Everything is up!

When we want something good to eat without much of brainstorming, we come here. Although bit far from my place but it's worth the travel. You wont be disappointed.

Ambiance - Very calm and soothing place. Light music keeps playing in the background. Good place for couples. Can come here and talk politely without yelling at each other😀

🍲Food - We have luxury of Chinese, Indian and Thai cuisines here, very delicious. I personally enjoyed all the types. They also had hosted Bengali cuisines during Durga Puja, but I'm not sure if they are continuing that now. But everytime I come here and order something, it tastes good. Not for once did I feel disappointed.

👳Service - The best I have seen so far. They are very polite and they always have a smile on their face, which makes you also feel good. Also they are very professional in their jobs. You will always leave with a sense of joy in yourself.

Visited here atleast 10 times, and would highly recommend this place for couples, family get togethers and friends.

Happy Dining😊 Cheers 🍻

I have been to this place a couple of times now, It is a fairly decent place with good food, good ambiance and just the overall feel of the place is nice, relaxed and perfect for a casual Sunday outing. It is reasonably priced and the buffet is quite satisfactory. Going into specifics, I found the Chinese food to be way better than the Indian curries. Chicken lollipop, and Roast Chicken in BBQ sauce really stood out for me. So go check it out !! :)
Pranav Desai
Food quality was not that great. We had ordered peppery chicken, Schezwan rice and fried rice, all the items were too oily. Soup was average. The service was also slow.
Ninad Gogate

Ambience (2.5/5)
Little dark place closed and no air ventilation across the place. We chose to sit ground level. Simple lights with a big television. Found it veey ordinary.

Food (3/5)
We heard about it chinese food and ordered Crispy babycorn in garlic sauce and pan fried noodles

Crispy corn______ 3/5____
It was nicely coated with cornflour shapes of babycorn were perfect size and texture to enjoy. Sauce was a bit less and it felt dry in mouth. I literally had to take a sip of water after almost every 3 bites.

Pan fried noodles with veggies on top___2.5/5___
Noodles were crisp at bottom as expected but were more oily. Gravy topped had good amount of vegetables like zucchini, capsicum, carrots it was mentioned to us it will be spicy but it wamoresof tangy in flavour.

Located near the iconic effingut, this food joint is also quite famous in the locality. We had visited here for our lunch. The ambience was nice and clean, and the staffs were kind enough to give you a warm welcome.
We had tried mustard prawn, an interesting starter where the prawns were marinated in a tangy mustard sauce. This dish tasted quite well. We had ordered crispy chilli lamb as well. The preparation was good, but the lamb was a bit stiff.
In the main course, we had tried mutton chop masala, which is kind of Bengali mutton kasha and jeera rice. The combination went well together.
Overall, a pretty descent place, maybe they need to come up with some more innovative dishes to stand high among the competitors.
Praval Santar
Great Ambience. Food is excellent. Lazeez Chicken Biryani is excellent. Murg Peshawari Masala is very good. Service is excellent. A great place to try out.

Pad Thai veg noodles was yummy as usual

Chicken tangdi kabab was yumm.. it was juicy, soft and very delicious. We ordered tawa chicken which was normal. Would cost 1200 for two that includes starters, beverages and main course. Overall experience was very good.

Saturday lunch was on mind and Magnolia was our destination.
Starting with the ambiance, simple decor with comfortable seating arrangement. The staffs were very effective and the service was quite good.
Now coming to the main point, which is food. If you are a fond of Chinese and Thai food, well Mangolia is surely a good option for you. They have a nice option of Chinese and Thai food on their menu card. We started with Chrispy potato chilli honey, Chicken lollypop, and Roast Chicken in BBQ sauce. Each dishes was delicious and we totally loved it.
In main course, we opted for Indian and ordered Paneer Lachhedar, Bengali mutton curry. For the second dish, we were pretty much disappointed. The mutton lacks taste in every sense. The other one was much better.
Nice, budget friendly restro for try.
Shreeya Sagavekar
This is our one of the favorite restaurants in baner. Fond of the “thai cuisine” that is served here and one should definitely try pad thai with nuts and the yellow curry or the panano curry. It tastes delicious. Our choice of mocktail which had strawberry crushed with mint and crushed ice and cherry was on point. Good ambience & also the service.
Simran Anand
Shitty f- all service, took 1 f+×king hour to bring my takeaway which I had ordered for a good amount of time. Kept giving weird reasons and the staff was quite rude about the whole affair.
Narendra Deore
Food is very sad.. So much Black paper in manchw soup... No salt in hakka noddles,
Thai curry not that much red not fresh....
Dhawal Patil
This is one of the oldest restaurant in Baner and is quite nicely maintained. Although I have stayed in Aundh for more than 15 years now, I had never been to this place. But recently I tried it and have been to this place thrice in one month! The place is nice and very decent. They serve next to authentic oriental dishes. The taste is wonderful even it Indian or Asian cuisine. A good place if you want to dine out with your family. Will definitely recommend to come here once!
Komal Parikh
the fried noodles with the soup was stale.. it was stinking of oil
Puneet Dhir
Value for money and zomato gold is acceptable without any wrinkle on the face of waiter. Good food and now c for family gathering. Location is perfect and you can expect 2 time price for the same location restaurants. Good for Sunday diner outs
Radhika Dambe
Amazing dishes. The mocktails were really worth buying. Will surely recommend it to friends and family. The one which I had was 2 in 6 which had delicious flavour of pineapple syrup at the bottom and craneberry juice with fresh cream on top.

Although i have been in Pune for almost 7 years now and lived in Aundh-Baner for 3 years, i only got to visiting Magnolia yesterday.
The place is on the main road and parking will not be an issue thanks to the long sidewalk just outside. As you walk in to the place, you are greeted by a waiting area and an aquarium to keep you occupied in case you need to wait for a table.
The restaurant is painted red with glasses on the windows that have white bamboo stickers on them: kind of reminded me of the credit scenes from Kung fu panda. There is seating on an upper floor as well where live matches are being screened and the lower level had a LED screen as well. From what i browsed around in the menu, i could see that they serve Thai, Continental, Chinese and Indian food. We had the Chinese food with below items:
- Chicken Hot & Sour soup: Cooked nicely and had a hint of garlic in it.
- Chicken with fried vegetables: Pretty crispy on the out yet tender on the inside.
- Burnt Garlic fried rice: Served with a generous helping of chopped green garlic to make it better
- Veg Manchurian gravy: Pretty standard stuff, nothing was out of the ordinary.

There was an offer on the beverages as well.

I feel this is an underrated place and needs to be visited often to try out the other cuisines i mentioned early on. The service is very efficient and attentive.

Will visit soon for more.
Jaywant Nimbalkar
There was an issue with biryani but the restaurant was professional to rectify it and send us a complimentary dish. Which was a good dish. Also veg triple schezwan was good. Over all a very good old restaurant

In nature, Magnolias represent beauty, gentleness, dignity and even divinity. Qualities that we have come to not only cherish and admire but also aspire for. So when I was invited by Magnolia Restaurant & Bar to taste the new menu as part of their Chinese and Thai Festival, I was to put it faintly, rather optimistic.
Simar Bhatt
Softest paneer I ever had in Pune. Peaceful ambience, service was pretty fast and helpful. Zomato gold offer made the deal even sweeter
So overall 5 stars are worth it.

Good food..

Never visited the place but ordered food many times. I mostly ordered veg Thai curry and Thai rice and noodles. Food test is good and quantity is also satisfactory. Zomato delivery was also on time and as expected.

It was a pleasant discovery of an amazing restaurant in Aundh. I happened to stop by here for lunch while looking for a restaurant on Zomato Gold in Aundh. Magnolia, though operational from past 10 years is definitely an underestimated restaurant. I was first amazed by the vast variety of dishes offered in the food menu apart from the food festival menu. It offers Oriental and Mughlai.
I ordered Chicken chilli basil which was mildly juicy and rich in flavors. 2nd thing I ordered for Roast chili chicken. Which although tasted fine but could not keep up to the bench mark that Chili chicken basil has set.
In main course I ordered Pad Thai noodles. It was a subtle party of flavours in my mouth. Juicy, rich which nuts and exotic flavors. I absolutely loved the noodles. Next I decided to try a Bengali dish - Koshi Murgi. The staff member serving us was a Bengali himself. So when I asked what to expect out of this dish - there was a shine in his eyes and his excitement said a lot about the dish.
No doubt it turned out to be amazing .
I also tried Ice Beck Beer which is a strong bear and has a fruit taste. Absolutely loved it.
Can't wait to visit this place again.
Light on pocket, vast menu, rich in flavors!!

Magnolia in Baner is a very old bar and restaurant serving the best Chinese and Thai cuisine that will satisfy your taste buds and want for lip smacking food.

They have introduced a menu with some really amazing dishes.

The Chinese and Thai food festival started on 21st June.

This place has sort off family restaurant seating but the upstairs seating is pretty good where you can enjoy live football matches screening with some amazing offers on alcohol.

So it's an all in one deal. Grab some drinks, special cuisines and desserts here.

A special menu by @avisa_keskar will make you fall in love with chinese and Thai cuisines.

My choice from the menu was some vegetarian pick. I totally loved the food and its serving.

>Jade corn soup
>Burmese soup *recommended*

>Spinach & mushroom dim sum
>Cheese broccoli paneer dim sum *recommended*

>Crispy corn curd
>Coriander pot noodle *recommended*

Desserts ?

>Coconut roll with ice cream *recommended*
>House lemon cheese cake

Not only veg but you've got good options for non veg too.

Don't miss This festival if you're a true Chinese and Thai cuisine lover.

Wine and dine with your friends and family.

Only the North Indian food is good here. We tried THAI green Curry and one THAI starter, Both of them tasted bad. However, you may try the NORTH INDIAN here. It is very good. My friends who ordered North Indian non-veg loved it. Staff is friendly here, overall a good place to visit if you want to eat North Indian only.

To all the people expecting typical blant n subtle flavours from the dishes here, let me just clear your misconception ! The dishes that I tried here were so unique & full of flavours that I just can't get over the food here ! 😍

Peach Ice Tea :
The Ice Tea was too sweet for me. The peach flavour was very prominent but the excess sweetness made this drink an absolute no-no.

Soups :
Jade Corn Soup :
This had the comforting combination of spinach & corn which was so we'll balanced ! The hint of sweetness from the corn & the peculiar taste of spinach really made this soup a star !

Chicken Burmese Soup :
I generally do not prefer creamy soups but the amount of flavours this soup had was just amazing ! Strong ginger taste with creamy texture of the soup made the chicken chunks in the soup just delicious ! Really good 💖
#HighlyRecommended

Dimsums :
Veg Dimsums :
These were filled with finely chopped minced vegetables and had an overall subtle taste. Basic in taste & presentation

Chicken Money Bag Dimsums :
I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing this was ! These were dimsums tried by spring onions made into a money bag & had minced chicken mixture ,such that I haven't had in my entire life ! The minced chicken had a prominent ginger flavour & I really loved depth of the flavours 😋

Cheese & Broccoli Dimsums :
This was very different combination in dimsums for me. The cheese & broccoli tasted amazing together but it was relatively on the subtle side than others.

Crispy Corn Curd :
Very UNIQUE ! It had a crispy outer layer with 'curd-like' texture of the filling inside. The dish was fantastic ! An overall medium spicy taste with really toned down taste inside which was just too good to explain ! 😋
#HighlyRecommended

Drums Of Heaven :
These were gravy based chicken lollipops which had amazing taste to the entire dish ! 😍 Loved every bit of it 😋

Corriander Pot Noodles :
These green noodles had the peculiar taste of corriander which blended well with the noodles & vegetables. Having tried this for the first time I really loved it & the overall flavours were comfort food goals !

Coconut with ice cream :
Three crisp coconut filled rolls topped with vanilla ice cream tasted damn amazing ! The crisp rolls with ice cream were truly a delight ! 😍
"Never underestimate the power of a Woman and Chinese food" 😁😁 - rightly said by me ..
.
.
So head over to @magnoliaindia for the Chinese and Thai food festival starting today and try these amazing money bag dimsums cause they are worth every penny you spend (pun intended).

Listing down a few favorites from the magnolia Thai and Chinese food festival.

Burmese soup - A nice creamy thick Thai soup with some glass noodles for a beautiful and tasty texture..

Chicken money bag dim sum - A dimsum with chicken stuffing that is so flavourful that you cannot have just one and that is a vicious cycle you don't want to get out of

Crispy corn curd - This one took me by surprise .. I dint know corn curd could be turned into such a great dish it was soft and gooye on the inside but crispy and very tasty on the out . A very Thai dish, spice and sweetness just right.

Drums of heaven (Hong Kong) style - expected the cliched chicken lollipops but these were so different .. nicely cooked and drechend with a spicy sweet sauce typical of the Thai flavour

Thai Chicken pot rice - Pot rice is always a full meal ... I love Thai flavours put them with rice and meat and u are ready for an amazing meal.

House lemon cheese cake- must try if u are a fan of the lemony flavour and wish to try something even amazing .. was the bit tangy but the flavors were all there.

.
A specially hand crafted and curated menu by the chef and owner Avisa calls for some undisturbed focus.
This festival cannot be missed if you are a true glutton. Take your family or go with your friends this place has an ambiance for everyone

Ordered a chicken main course - Murg Mussallam for delivery and I had a fleeting thought about not placing this order with a restaurant known for Chinese & Thai cuisine. My hunch was correct , nor the quantity nor the taste was upto the mark.

Magnolia, a multi-cuisine restaurant and bar in Baner is currently running a Chinese and Thai food festival. I was invited for a preview tasting and here is a narrative of my experience. The food festival showcases Chinese and Thai cuisines with dishes like Burmese soup, Drums of Heaven, Fortune Noodles and Pot Rice. The menu spans from hot pot to dim sums to coconut roll with ice cream and everything delicious in between to welcome you for embracing a palatable experience at the festival.

One of the best Thai food I had in pune.
I prefer spicy food so we had Thai vegetable in Red with Steamed Rice as it was written “must try” on menu with two chillies on it.

It wasn’t that spicy but the taste was like the wanna have it more and should be everlasting.

Ambience is quite shady and service is pretty good.
A must try restaurant if you like Thai food. 👍🏼

The Chinese and Thai festival started here on 21st this month, I was invited to taste this menu before it kicked-off. The staff is very vigilant and our host Avisa made us feel at home.

Burmese Chicken Soup: It was cream based soup served with some glass noodles on the top. The perfect blend of coconut and spices is a treat to our taste buds. We loved this soup and as it was the first dish on the table, it set really high standards.

Dimsums
Cheese broccoli paneer
Chicken money bag
Very thin outer casing and lots of filling, so the flavors hit you a lot early. Chicken money bag dimsums was like a flavor bomb which explodes as soon as you put it in your mouth.

Appetizers
Crispy corn curd
Drums of heaven
Flamboyant presentation!!! especially the flower vase which came with drums of heaven. Corn curd appetizer is something totally different but tastes good. They are set cornflour cubes which is deep fried and sauteed with in-house sauce. Drums of heaven are chicken lollipops in sweet and spicy sauce.

Thai Chicken pot rice: Again the staple coconut flavor and lots of spices did the magic. Good presentation, properly cooked and balanced flavors. It a full meal in itself, so for singles it is a perfect choice for home deliveries.

Desserts
House lemon cheese cake
Coconut roll with ice-cream
Loved the smooth texture and strong taste of lemon cheesecake. People who like coconut preparations will surely like it.

So do go and check out the Chinese and Thai Festival. Its a lovely place and serve good food.

We went here for dinner celebration of our friends birthday. We reserved a table in advance and as we were 8 of us they provided us a joined big table on the 2nd floor for privacy. The second floor is has dim lights and also provides a romantic environment .We ordered wine as recommended by the server. The red wine was a perfect start to the birthday celebrations .We ordered some starters called papdi chura , a meat barbeque and a vegetarian barbeque as we had mix of both in our group. The chicken tikka was flavourful so was the paneer tikka. The music played was soft enough that we could talk and enjoy music. The main course was a thai green curry, meth paneer, one mutton dish, butter chicken and butter and garlic nans. All the curries were great taste and nothing to complain about. The waiters were always there if we needed anything. For dessert we decide to eat ice cream at an ice cream parlour. Good food .Good evening.

Had been to this place on 02/06/2018.
A cool place with sports theme. Tried prawns and murg mussalam. Both were up to the mark. Service was also good. Garlic naan was the catch of the dinner.
A nice place for a date if you opt for. :) cheers!

Magnolia is surely one such place which can be praised high for the food. Really yumm and delicious food. Small place with very simple ambiance and light music. Nothing fancy about the place. But quiet genuine and authentic food. I tasted just couple of items and really liked it. Pad thai is very different and delicious. Staff was efficient. Service was very quick and I really liked it. Must recommended for Oriental cuisine.

Taste was very good. Few of the customers even called the chef and praised him personally. Will surely visit the place again. Ambience is also good and the rates are also in budget.
