Review Sigree - Pune

Kunal Lokare
Good place to be with friends and family. Restaurant that's been in Aundh since many years but still not many people know about it. Ambience is good you can come here to celebrate any occasion. Service was good, waiters and captain were prompt and kind. Most importantly the food here is amazing we had the non vegetarian buffet lunch. Starters like Fish Koliwada and Prawns were very tasty. Main course and deserts had a lot of variety. They serve alcohol for those who want to drink. I would surely want to visit the place again. Recommend everyone to try it.

One of the best places for non-veg lovers. The prices are high but totally worth it. Good service, good ambience. The desserts are too good. One should have an empty stomach to taste everything offered as the buffet has many items.
Sanket Firke

Good ambience... Awesome food... Have to say the fish fingers here are lip smacking and you cannot stop eating them... Same goes for the chicken starter, yummy sticky sauce... Good variety of dishes, so good overall... the mocktail we ordered was guava flavored which again was amazing as it was spicy n sweet at the same time... The desserts were also good... The only letdown was the service. Not all tables were full as we were a lil early, however, the service was a bit slow... We had to wait a lil a few times and call the staff over to request for more starters... I had to always call them and ask for what i required... Maybe not the case with everyone else, but a letdown for me... All said the food is tasty, and it is a must visit for the taste...

Perhaps i chose the wrong day, but yes wasn't really that good experience. I had bookmarked this place since a really long time. The time when I stayed in heart of the city and Aundh way far. Around November I shifted to Aundh and 31st December was I supposed to visit this place. And we did it. I went there with my gang and it was good experience. I expected this place to be top-notch but dismay! not really.

Sigree is a sister brand of Mainland china and Gong and specializes in a unique cuisine that only will be available at Sigree.

It's a buffet place like barbeque nation but the varieties are limited with more concentration of quality rather than quantity.

I visited this place rather on a lazy Monday afternoon which I think was the wrong choice. Everyone was really feeling lazy including myself but had to go with that.

I think they need to work on the management as I said I've felt so lazy when I entered in the premises. The buffet was empty and even live station was not ready. This thing made a bad impression at start.

Let's get into the food section -

Starter -

Palak patta chaat - chatpata chaat placed on a crispy thin palak which is deep-fried till perfection. The chaat was really good and adding it on a palak patta enhanced the flavors.

Paneer Rawalpindi - I felt the marination was not consistent. Paneer could've been left in the marination more to reach the flavors throughout the paneer. The marination was perfect just it didn't reach everywhere.

Bhoot jolakia tandoori chicken - Tandoori chicken stuffed with nicely minced chicken kheema and marinated with spicy bhoot jolakia marination. The marination wasn't that spicy for me as I have a habit of eating more spicy food but the preparation was really good. I loved it.

Ajwaini dum paneer - North Indian spicy gravy with dum paneer. Nothing can go wrong in this one. The gravy was medium thick and goes perfect with tandoori roti

Murgh kali mirch - On the other hand we had a different gravy which was on the thinner side but the flavors we're mind-blowing. All the ground spices which enhance the taste of meat and goes hand in hand with rice or tandoori roti

Overall verdict - The starters were good but the mains really surprised me. My experience was really good and will definitely comeback.

Finally checked out this place. The word sigree means stove or shegdi in Marathi. At sigree they are basically trying to bring the good old times ka stove wala khane ka taste back. It's a must visit if you like traditional North Indian cuisine
The ambience is - posh meets traditional. This is a friends and family and as in whole joint family dinner types place.
Let's talk about the food!!!

Pyaas bujhayein inse-
1.Tender Touch(coconut based drink)
2. Jal Jeera Mojito (jaljeera and Mojito fusion)

Medium pet bharega inse:-
⭐Veg mein-
1. Palak Patta Chaat
Simple chat but on crispy Palak.
2. Paneer Rawalpindi
Soft medium spicy paneer perfectly marinated.

Non- Veg mein:-
1.Bhoot Jhalokia Chicken-
Piche aag laga Dene wala chicken 😜but tell em to make it medium spicy
2. Warqi Kakori
This melts in your mouth kinda like galouti kebabs.
3. Neembu Dhania Ki Machali
Tangy yummy fish😜

Vegetarian logo ke liye :-
Main course -

Ajwaini Dum Paneer
Medium spicy gravy wala yummy paneer
Uske saath lelo mast
Amritsari Kulcha!

Non- Vegetarian
Murgh Kalimirch
This has really different uniquetaste. Ekdum Masta juicy boneless withchicken medium spicy gravy.

Uske sath khayein-
Garlic Naan/make di roti

Ab kuch sweet ho Haye???
(Desserts)
Shakurewali Malai Phirni
Must share item.

Jalebi With Rabri
(Akele Khao) 😜

Matke Wali Kulfi
Comes with different flavor ke condiments!!!!

My rating
Ambience 4/5
Service 5/5
Food 5/5
Vfm 4/5
Overall 5/5.

We keep visiting this place, not very regularly, but do like to come back. Booking in advance on weekends will be a good idea. This time around, they seemed to have removed the shades on the far edge making the entire place brighter, which I liked.

They don't have soup, which is a damper, but they more than make up for it with with their wide variety of starters (almost 6-7 each for veg and non-veg) and that with a great variety. It is very easily possible to get your fill with starters only. If you manage to reach out to the main course, the choices again were very nice (on the day we visited) and each item had its own taste, which made it all the more great. Salad choices are limited, but the food options are plenty
the dessert counter also offers lots of choices and if you have a sweet tooth, it would be difficult to resist the choices here.

overall, great place to be and the rates are still very reasonable, given that some other places have crossed the ₹1000 mark. I do look forward to my next visit here.

It was my second ever visit to Sigree..the first one being the DP Road, this time we visited Aundh as the only one sigree left in Pune.

We reached for Lunch buffet (today is Wednesday) and only two more tables were occupied apart from us..so no crowd at all.

Food Review:
1) Starters were served cold and after served first round had to request them to bring hot starters.I tried all veg and non-veg starters and most of them were NOT FRESH and were tasting as if prepared days ago.Only crispy babycorn and Mutton tikki taste was fresh and I was finding it hard to swallow the chicken and fish items due to some wierdness in the taste apart from tasting cold and not fresh. We came prepared for good meal on starters but had to leave the idea after second round served.
2) Main course had Mutton with Gravy,Chicken Kosha,Fish Do pyaaza and chicken biryani..out of which Fish and Chicken kosha was fine while Mutton and chicken briyani was the same story as the starters.
3) My family had veg main course and they were not looking satisfied either with the taste and freshness.
4) Extra items had okay Pani Poori,Freshly prepared pasta and Jalebi, some pastry based sweets, small gulab jamuns, few salids,
2 variety of ice-creams while missing cut fruits, and soups.

The reason I visited this restaurent even after reading all reviews was that I was having 4 vouchers of it.
That's all.

Captains were helpful and accepted the request for bringing second round of starters hot to the table.

Thanks

Veg buffet was average. Not much variety. Taste was ok-ok and not upto mark as per the prices. Desserts were not so good. Starters were the only saving grace.

First thing you will notice is the Ambience. Huge dining hall and it's menu caters to every food age. Loved the starters the most. Will recommend to friends and others to visit.

Not always have I found a nice place here for north Indian food. And after staying in Delhi for so many years the barometer of expectation really goes high. But I must mention here that Sigree is one of those places which is my choice to savour some of the most authentic north Indian taste.

Warm hospitality, great food and overall a great place to be. You will be taken care of well.

Here are my favs –

Tender Touch, Basil & Pineapple Swirls –

Mocktails that are delicious and refreshing. The tinge of basil made the juice taste different with strong flavour. A must try.

Palak Patta Chat was a crispy chaat on fried palak leaves, a great snack to go along with some drinks.

Amongst others in veg starters - Paneer Rawalpindi, Malai Pudina, Tandoori Aaloo. Tadoori aloo was yum. Spicy with a tangy achaari like taste with tandoori spices, a complete combination and very well cooked

Nonveg starters - Nimbu Dhaniya ki Machli, Bhoot Jhalokia Chicken Tangadi, Warki Kakori.

The chicken tangri was spicy and was served in a burning sigree. Hot in temperature and taste with amazing flavors, well cooked. Nimbu Dhaniya Machli was a light taste dish with tangy flavours. Extremely soft. It melts with each bite

Maincourse - Ajwaini Dum Paneer, Pind da Chana/Amritsari Kulcha, Sarson da Sag & Makke di roti.

Now trust me when I say that the saag was yummy! Real taste from the north.

Now I am also choosy when its about desserts…especially when someone is serving phirni…the rice has to be well cooked, not so sweet, perfect flavour of cardamom and spices and you know what, sigree nailed it.

Indeed a wonderful place to visit and enjoy north Indian flavors..

Sigree has become a popular restaurant over the years in Aundh. It's quite famous for their chaat and desserts. I managed to visit it during lunchtime on a weekday and found it filled up. The amount of crowd speaks volume about this place.
Sigree has a buffet menu as well as a la carte menu. The quintessential chaat, Panipuri had to be the first dish on the chaat menu. Served with a sweet, tangy and spicy mixture, it was quite delicious. Palak patta chaat is mainly a North-indian street dish and found in very few places in Pune. I was glad to find this here and gobbled it up heartily. Among the appetisers, the Kastoori shabnam caught my eye. It's a creamy dish of mushrooms stuffed with herbed cheese and tastes amazing! The Bhoot Jolokia chicken tangdi was something I was hesitant to try because of my low tolerance for spice but it turned out quite tasty and not as spicy as I thought. A dish from the streets of Lucknow, the Warqi kakori is also served here. Kakori kebabs served on a base of warqi paratha. However, the highlight of Sigree is their Sarson da saag which is accompanied by ghee, gud and makke di roti, making it as authentic as possible. The desserts here are quite popular and delectable. I loved the phirni, kulfi and jalebi with rabri here. The ambience and seating is quite good. Parking is available.

Recently visited sigree with family and had a good experience and the food served was really delicious!
The ambience is good and decent and it's really a great place to get your family or colleagues over for lunch/dinner! The staff was prominent and attentive on our table! Mistakenly, i dropped a glass of water and the waiter quickly came and cleaned it up! That is what i call a quick service! 🤟

We ordered 2 drinks for the refreshment and it was really pleasant to have it! The names were:

Drinks - Tender Touch & Jal Jeera Mojito
(Definitely Recommended)

In appetizers:
We took,

Bhooth Jhalokia Chicken Tangdi
Neembu Dhania Ki Machli
Konkani Tandoori Jhinga

(THESE ARE DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED FOR NON-VEG STARTERS)

In veg, we ordered:
Paneer Rawalpindi
Kastoori Shabnam

Main course:

I'd recommend these to definitely order:
Veg:
1) Sarson da saang
2) Ajwani Dum Paneer
3) Kulcha - "Amritsari kulcha" were just too good

Non-veg
1) Gosht Rogan Josh
2) Murgh Kalimirch

In biryani,
Subz dum biryani & Chicken biryani 🤤

Desserts were all together excellent 😍
We had,
Phirni, Jalebi with Rabri & Matke wali Kulfi

My overall experience dining with family over here is really good and satisfying! 👍

Definitely, recommend this place and their buffet rates are also reasonable compared to other restaurants!

I have always heard about this place's merits for offering delicious North Indian food & now after visiting it (in Aundh) recently I can definitely vouch for it. I visited this place for a lunch & it was a full house.

This place has significantly a long menu, which determines the plethora of options to have. We (my friends & I) started off with the drinks. We went with the Tender Touch, Basil & Pineapple Swirls. To my amazement the later was the standout. Rich in Pineapple flavour was so good, that I ended up reordering it, across my meal.

Post that, we had some starters like Palak Patta Chat, Paneer Rawalpindi, Malai Pudina Tandoori Aaloo, which were really delicious. I must recommend Paneer Rawalpindi. It was really goodin taste. In non-veg starters we had Nimbu Dhaniya ki Machli, Bhoot Jhalokia Chicken Tangadi, Warki Kakori. They were good too.

In the mains, there were several options again, & we tried Ajwaini Dum Paneer & it was good. Pind da Chana/Amritsari Kulcha was next up & it was really good. The authenticity of the dish was the real. catch here. It's Winter & Sigree made sure we had Sarson da Sag & Makke di roti. And this place made justice to this amazing combination.

Jumping to the desserts, Sigree, again serves you a variety of desserts. We had Shakurewali Malai Phirni, Jalebi Rabri, Mataka Kulfi & ice cream. Each of them was incredible in the taste & concluded our meal on a sweeter note.

Overall Sigree India was a wonderful experience, in regards to taste & service. The staff was quick to respond everytime we needed something. I would definitely recommend this place.

Score ( out of 5):

Food - 5
Ambience - 4
Service - 5

Heard a lot about it and went for team outing.

Decor is not so good and so is the food out there. My friend was served with hairs twice during the dinner.

We took the option of buffet which was not tasty at all. Only dal makhni was good.

Quality of food was very worst..Very spicy food and service was also very slow. I would rather suggest to go to absolute barbeque which is much better in same price

This casual dining place which has a capacity of almost 100+ diners is in Aundh and serves North Indian cuisines. The ambience is great and the staff are very courteous as well. I was here for lunch a few days back.

So firstly I kicked off my lunch with their two thirst quenchers;

Tender Touch: It was a tender coconut drink and really effective in quenching the thirst in hot afternoons.

Jal Jeera Mojito: This drink was the best and I would surely recommend it.

For starters I tried:

Palak Patta Chaat: This chaat was beautifully plated in fried spinach leaves and also tasted amazing.

Paneer Rawalpindi: You must really try this dish if you are here.... It was really very yummy.

Malai Pudina Tandoori Aaloo: This was another tasty item in their menu and one can surely go for it.

For main course I tried the following items:

Ajwaini Dum Paneer: The taste of this dish was very good and it can be had with any Indian Bread or even with rice.

Season ka Saag/Makkai ki roti: This combination is no doubt and amazing one... And this place didn't disappoint me either.

Tawa Sabz Nizami: This was another yummy dish.

Pind da Chana/Amrisari Kucha: This is another amazing combination and this place serves it right... One must surely try this.

Dal Sigree: This black lentil Dal is another
must have it in their menu.

Subz Dum Biryani: Okay, non vegetarians might say that veg biryani is not biryani but this dish over here surely can change their mind.

Now as we all know, no good meal ends without dessert. So for dessert I tried:

Shakurewali Malai Phirni: This was so creamy and perfectly sweetened that the taste just keeps on lingering for long.

Jalebi with Rabdi: This is an evergreen combination again. The Jalebis were crunchy and tasted heavenly with the Rabdi.

Matke wali Kulfi: Matka Kulfi always has a different charm from the regular kulfis. This Kulfi here had that earthy taste too which literally took be aback for sometime with its taste.

Overall it's an amazing place.... If you want to try some amazing North Indian food, you must surely visit it once.

After hearing a lot good about this place. Me and my friend decided to visit this place. The ambiance as well as the food was really good.
We decided to have pineapple mojito which was absolutely great at taste. For the starters we ordered Palak Patta chaat which was crispy and full of flavours, Kasturi Shabnam which was basically stuff Mushroom, to me it was very well prepared.
For the mains we decided to have Dal Sigree with Amritsari Kucha which was the best decision in terms of mains. As the dal was perfectly infused with flavours and tadka.
Lastly, we had crispy Jalebi with Rabri. We really liked the jalebi as it was crispy and yummy, a must try.

This place is located near to ITI Road, Aundh and is easily accessible by road. This place has capacity for 100+ people and provides a great hospitality. I went there on Friday lunch and was welcomed by their manager. It was a hot day so we started with Thirsty Quenchers, We had Jal Jeera Mojito & Tender Touch. Both of them were amazing, Jal Jeera Mojito was really very good and a must have drink. Then we jumped to appetizers and In veg we had Palak Patta Chaat, Paneer Rawalpindi (Must have), Kasturi Shabnam which was a Mushroom dish (Must have) and Malai Pudina Tandoori aloo. I am vegetarian so I didn’t try Non-veg but that looks interesting. In mains, we had Pind da chana with Amritsari Kulcha which is a pure ghee preparation along with Sigree Dal (Must have) which is Black Lentil. The combination was very tasty and can Dal can literally blow your mind.

Now my favourites: Dessert:
Shakurewali Malai Phirni - It was good,
Matke wali Kulfi - Give it a try, you will get amazed
and Jalebi with Rabri - Not up to the mark but nicely tried with presentation. (Hot and Crispy Jalebi with Cold Rabri would be best.)

Overall it was a great experience and nicely managed outlet with great hospitality.

Recommended for Corporate people / Small Team Parties, People can go with friends / families and with your better half.
The Comida House
This is your one and only stop for delicious indian food with so many different flavours. 😋

Appetizers

Palak Patta Chaat :
This was very tasty and had a authentic taste. 💯

Paneer Rawalpindi :
The perfect dish for people who love paneer. This had a very moreish taste.🧀

Kastoori Shabnam :
Mushrooms in malai which was so meltful. 🍄

Malai Pudina Tandoori Aloo : Cheesy malai in well cooked tandoori aloo where I could taste the mint as well. 🥔

Bhoot Jolakia Chicken Wings : Juicy chicken wings with their own tasty marination with bhoot jolakia. 🍗

Warqi Kakori :
This was the star of all the starters. So soft and meltful mutton kebabs with baby naans. Their in house green chutney goes well with this. 🤤

Neembu Dhania Ka Machli :
The taste of kaafir lime and cilantro made the well cooked soft fish even more delightful. 😋

Konkani Tandoori Jhinga : Served in an innovative way this was loaded with spices. 🍤

Mains

Neembu Dhaniya Jhinga Curry : Fresh prawns in kaafir lime curry with dhaniya. This was so flavoursome. It had a thai yet indian flavour. 😍

Dal Sigree : A very homely taste due to the ghee added in it. This was black dal in their own yummy way! 🥰

Mutton Dum Biryani :
I usually don't like biryani but this was very tasty. The aroma was so pungent and moreish. The taste was also so spiceful and delicious. 💯
Desserts

Shakurewali Malai Phirni :
Malai phirni but even better. 🍚

Matkewali Kulfi :
This was given in a different way! The kulfi was served with shots of rabri, red syrup and poppy seeds. 🥰

Overall I loved the food. This place has become my place for indian food. You just cannot get enough. 🤤❤️

If you are missing the authentic North Indian food then Sigree in Aundh is all set to serve you! They have very great and elegant interiors with comfortable seating arrangements.Had been on a weekday for lunch and was pleased to see that the service was quick even though the place was buzzing with people. All of their dishes carried an aromatic flavour and served in a way which was visually appealing!

This place has got a plethora of options for you to choose from. Honestly, each dish prepared by the Chef basically aimed to provide a wholesome 'culinary experience'.So moving over to the food here is a glimpse of the dishes that impressed me.

Let's start with some amazing thirst quenchers which were Tender Touch and Jal Jeera Mojito. Well there is nothing more refreshing than a Jal Jeera Mojito which i liked the most .So refreshing, chilled and of course with a bit of spices in it.

The actual food journey started with some delicious appetizers such as Palak Patta Chaat, Paneer Rawalpindi, Kastoori Shabnam and Malai Pudina Tandoori Aloo which was from the vegetarian section.Everything was fresh and savoury.Palak patta chaat is one recipe that is enjoyed by all and quite known in Delhi. It is a crispy fried spinach leaf with loads of flavors to it of other ingredients added. Paneer Rawalpindi was something I liked the most and it consisted of oven cooked cottage cheese filled with spices. From the Non Veg appetizers the breakout dish was Neembu Dhania Ki Machli and Konkani Tandoori Jhinga. Being fond of fish these two dishes were the best ones I had.The prawns were made with a melange of Indian spices and presented so well! The Warqi Kakori and Bhoot Jhalokia Chicken Tangdi was very unique and exotic. The names of the dishes itself sounds so tempting! The Warqi Kakori is like minced lamb served with paratha. One should try this over here!

And so finally it was our time to dig onto the mains with a relish. All the dishes brings back all the memories of my North India travel and food exploring days. So Let me give you a short glimpse of it:

▶Pind Da Chana/Amritsari Kulcha-Who can say to no street style Punjabi Pindi Chole with Amritsari Kulcha. Authentic taste and would definitely recommend! This was a thick stew and tasted quite well with Kulcha.

▶Neembu Jheenga Curry-This was a creamy prawns curry which had lemon and a bit of coconut flavor.Loved the taste.

The Mutton Dum Biriyani tasted decent enough. In case you're looking to end your meal on a sweet, sweet note, don't think twice; go ahead and order Shakurewali Malai Phirni, Jalebi with Rabri and Matke Malai Kulfi. The Malai Phirni seemed more like a royal dessert to me!Jalebi with Rabri, could anything be better than this. One of the mouth watering sweet dishes I had!

Needless to say, with an extremely hospitable and caring staff, great decor this place justifies your experience and is a great junction to come along with you friends and family to gorge onto some delicious North Indian delicacies.

Happy Eating!Follow @yummydelightsdiary on Instagram

Place was descent but it was quite better 2 years ago i guess. No variety in menu and damn silent.
If you are looking for happening place then definately its not the correct choice.

Great place, and tasty food. You can expect it to be crowded on weekend so reservation is recommended unless you want to wait. The best part is valet parking is available and its a big plus.

The buffet option seems good and it has 4-5 veg and similar number of non veg starters, The starters vary daily but at least on weekend it includes Fish, Chicken and Mutton for non veg and equally tasty veg starters including pineapple, mushroom shammi kebab, tandoori aloo etc and live counter of chaat is available and
the main course is sufficient with combinations of salads, raita, veg and non veg and at lest 5-6 different indian and western deserts, roti is served on table which is very nice service.

The highlight is the starters and deserts and the main course pales slightly in comparison.

The ambience is good and the staff is courteous and humble, thumbs up for this.

Overall would recommend to all thats its well worth a visit.

Have given 4*, 1* reduced due to small quirks like not providing bowls in the buffet also no soup is available in the buffet,

Please take this as constructive feedback...

Nice place... Awesome food

Had a buffet there. Really nice starters and desserts and unending beverages. The ambience is really adjustable to either corporate environment or family and friends type and even for dates. The one and only problem was the very less options for main course which was mediocre in taste and lacked flavour. Rest, very impressed:)

It was my birthday and after long discussion we decided to go for Sigree. As i stay in wakad, aundh outlet was nearest to me. It turned to be an awesome experience. We opted for buffet. Starters, maincourse, salad, desserts, live pasta counter and not to forget the pani puri counter. Everything was awesome. Everthing tasted upto the mark. At the end I was surprised with a birthday cake with loud birthday music and all their staff gathering together and claping for me.. it was a memorable experience. I will visit again soon. Had heard lot about it so went there, found out that they were more eager to serve the guests who are going to have Buffet rather than A La Carte, so when we ordered A La Carte, we felt like we created a big hurdle for them from the lack of hospitality received, they were not even bothered to lift the napkins from the plates and keep the plates in front of us (we ourselves did it!) As expected, the Discount Coupon Code that I had did not work in their system! Overall felt like highly overrated restaurant, wanted to give 1 star only but gave another one as the limited food that we ordered & consumed was good in taste! Would definitely not like to visit here again due to the experience had today

This has been one of the best restaurant in Pune. When it comes to price they serve you at the lowest price for veg and non buffet. The service is very fast even it's very crowded place. It has huge huge sitting capacity and they do maintain cleanliness. I always prefer to be my first choice for Sigree Restaurant. Recommended .

We visited Sigree for a lunch buffet and like most buffets, they had a stellar appetizer course with a disappointing main course. Both their veg and non-veg starters were really good and had almost all of us asking for seconds. Pani Puri was the cherry on top. Main course is standard affair with a paneer dish, two non-veg options, one veg curry and daal. It is recommended to eat up on the starters and head straight for the desserts which were fairly okay if not extremely tasty. Overall a good option for team lunch meals at a reasonable price.

Staff need to look after main course as fried corn was not crunchy and moist too

The manager, Vishal, is extremely cooperative and supportive. We organised two birthdays here and they also provided a complimentary cake for both which was very sweet. The waiters are helpful and prompt. The food is great, and the ambience and music add to it. Lovely experience.

Very nice ambience, mainly buffet system of average fees Rs. 600-700.. Prefer a la carte if u r not visiting in group.. Non veg menu is rwally good including selective chicken dishes.. One time must visit!

The restaurant staff is very courteous to have serve the dish again without cost after my bad 1st experience of home delivery from sigree. The mutton roganjosh was pretty good.

I went to Sigree for their street food festival where they served some really amazing and mouthwatering street fusion dishes from different streets of India.

They have both delicacies i.e. in veg and non-veg.

Waiters will serve delicious starters along with some live counter delicacies at your table unless you are full.

To name few items: Tandoori fried chicken, Chicken dhuadhaar Tikka, gobhi 65, chutney vala paneer Tikka, Babri aloo, palak patta chaat, pyaaz kachori, pani puri, etc.

They had Main course buffet which was equally good. I did not try much of them as I had too many starters and I was too full to try all of them.

Shahi Tukda, Maalpua with Rabdi, Gulab jamun, Ice-creams, etc. were some of desserts to end your day on a sweet note.

Overall it was a wonderful experience with their helpful staff’s around to make sure you go out with fully overloaded tummy..

Sigree- One of the Worthy Buffet Places in Pune.
Visited this place a week ago for their Street Food Festival. Street food from the hustling streets of Delhi to the by-lanes of Amritsar to the Khau Gali of Mumbai was served here.

The buffet had ' Live Counter ' including Pani Puri , Dahi Bhalla , Moong Dal Chilla , Pyaaz ka Kachori and Bajiya Pakora .Loved Dahi bhalla the most. Then moving on to their Veg/ Non Veg Starters , they served Tandoori Fried Chicken , Chicken Dhuandar Tikka , Patra ni Machhi , Mutton Seekh Kebab and Kheema Sambosa , and no doubt all of them were super delicious my favorite was Tandoori fried chicken and Mutton seekh Kebab. And i was totally full by now but their Main Course attracted me to over eat, so I had Murg Andda Biryani and Meen Malabari curry.. found it very okyish compared to the food they served in starters didn't like the main course much . And then finally had two plates full of Desserts. The dessert spread was really tasty , would rate it 4/5.
Overall enjoyed the food at Sigree. The lunch buffet was priced at 524/ all inclusive which is totally worth it.

Good going guys.
Cheers.

I was recently here for our team lunch. We were a team of 26 who opted for Buffet menu. The ambience could really use more lighting. It was quite dark even in the afternoon. There were variety of starters however they were very ok. Nothing really stood out. Main course was limited but the dishes tasted good. Desserts were good however the dessert spoons were not available. Service was rather slow and not very courteous. Overall it was a neutral experience.

There’s a street food festival going on here. Visited today afternoon for lunch on account of my mum’s birthday. The menu was extensive but we had the following as we were full:
Kheema Samosa
Baida Roti- This had very less filling and the maida was hard.
Chicken Kebab
Mutton Kebab
Prawns
Dahi Vada
Chaat
Chicken Biryani
Butter Chicken
Mutton Stew
Mango Cheesecake
Mousse
Chocolate Swiss Roll
Kala Jamun
Jalebi & Rabdi
Shahi Tukda: The breads were burnt. So there was a strong odour of the same.
Overall rating-
Food: 4/5
Ambience: 5/5
Service: 3/5 (The service was slow due to large crowd)

Really enjoyed the lunch experience. Wide range of veg and non-veg starters. Even on a crowded day service was good. Will surely come again. 👍🏼👌🏼

Worst food and disappointing service. If you want to ruin an occasion head to sigree. The manager Abhishek is the sole sensible man who tried to do the damage control but the rest of the team is of no use. No service men attending when the restaurant is almost empty. I asked for a crispy butter naan and they gave me naan and butter separately saying that a Naan can never be crispy. Also the restaurant does not use milk butter but they use nut butter. Seriously disappointed but would also like to thank Abhishek who tried his level best to help.

Sometimes even when we are having the ultimate meal at the usual barbecue places the coal and the pits make it more time consuming and make you work for it, but at sigree they have omitted the concept of charcoal pits and all the starter items are prepared and served, letting you sit and enjoy the food thoroughly while you indulge into the conversations and having a good time with the people you have come to have the meal.
Sigree has a really elegant ambience which is not sharp to the eyes. And gives in the fine dine ambience compared to other barbecue places, the indoor seating area with comfortable seating.

The starters served in the ongoing street festival had a very homely feeling to it. The food preparation was done according to the north indian region's taste preferences, giving the emphasis to the authenticity and traditionally used seasonings. The surprise factor which we were delighted to see in the preparation of the starters was the use of Ajwain that taste instantly took us on a trip to memory lane, where we were enjoying the same taste at home. The simple yet flavourful babri aloo, beautifully crafted anda chop, miniature of the authentic pyaaz kachori, Mutton seekh kebab and the bhajjiya chaat were the dishes which we really enjoyed and were smitten by the preparation and flavours. But after tasting the multiple starters it made us realise the taste of the batter was very similar for each starter which had the deep fried element. The starters overall were really well thought.

Coming to the mains, Rajma and smoked daal makhni were the only two veg options we really enjoyed and the innovative bundi tart along with payassam, the yummy and delicious mango cheesecake were the most interesting dessert items we loved, from the live counters we had the imarti that actually helped us complete the street food journey on a sweetest note.

I have always been a huge fan of sigree, because of their hospitality, good food and different festivals they launch. The latest one was the street feast covering all the authentic delicacies you get on the street and which quite popular. What I loved the most about feast was they didn't only stick starters which were inspired from streets but also covered the main-course.

We tried paani puri /Gol gappe , pyaz kachori , Gobi 65, Anda chops, palak patta chaat and stuffed chilla in veg and going forward to non-veg starters we tried Fried chicken, mutton samosas and Baida Roti.

For Starters, my favourites were

1. pyaaz kachori because they were mini kachoris topped with chutney and sev.

2. Palak Patta chaat they were crisp spinach leaves topped with aloo, pyaaz, chutney and sev.

3.Fried chicken- They call it sigree's KFC kind chicken but definitely with more flavors and crisp

4. Mutton Samosa - mutton keema stuffed in a very thin sheet. Highly Recommended

5. Baida Roti- Mutton and chicken in a crispy roti is a royal treat. It is famously prepared during the Ramzan days and enjoyed as a popular Mumbai street food.

Moving forward to the main course There was a whole range from Dum handi to kadhai jhinga to dal makhani.

It was a perfect feast to binge on. Don't miss their delicious desserts, my favourite was baked boondi.

I am totally in love with their street food festival.
They are serving street food in their starter menu. And it's delicious. Whenever I crave for food.. it's always street food for me. But when I go out to hop on Street food.. I become choosy.. because I prefer hygienic food and most of the time I see something or the other object which keeps me away from street food.
But at Sigree you can have street food without any hesitation, because it's fresh and hygienically prepared.
Courteous staff and valet parking made my experience really special.
Main course was super tasty.. it consisted of my favorite delicacies like prawn curry, meen (fish) curry, chicken biryani, rajma chaval and Dal makhni too.. many more things actually but as I have only one tummy so couldn't fit all in it😝😆😀

And the mocktail which I ordered was flavourful and refreshing as it was a blend of cucumber and curry leaves. It's a different combination but you must try it when you are there.

Dessert plays a vital role in my life as I love desserts. I always keep some place for desserts so that I don't have to regret later😁

In street food what I loved was-
Panipuri
Dahi bhalla
Kheema samosa
Pakoda
Palak patta Chaat
Patrani machchi
Grilled pineapple
Gobhi 65
Prawns koliwada
Anda chop
Babri aloo... And so on.. list is huge actually 😀

I have often heard a lot about Sigree, so have to pay a visit and they were celebrating street food festival for same

So, what all did they have in buffet!

Starting with the live counter, they have too many varieties there, gol gappe with medium spiced water, dahi Bhalla chaat, pakoda chaat, palak patta chaat, sev poori, Pyaaz ki kachori, pav Bhaji, moong daal chilla just by reading them I felt that my stomach would get full, but I somehow managed to keep some space

The starter section has many options as well
Babri Aloo, Chutney wala paneer tikka, chane ki shammi, grilled pineapple, gobhi 65, Chilli paneer roll, personally loved gobhi 65. No, it's not the Chinese authentic one but they have made their own Desi style gobhi, loved it!

The main course section has Paneer butter masala, dahi methi subzi, aloo kalimirch, rajma masala, beans poriyal, smoke dal makhani, kadhai pulao. Will visit again just for their rajma, way too good that I had to personally ask the chef for recipe

Desserts section too has many many options
Emarti, chitrakut, malpua, Mango cheesecake, assorted mousse, pineapple pastry, Shahi Tukda, Swiss rolls, baked boondi tart and ice cream with condiments
Loved malpua

The staff is very attentive and friendly, the interiors are buffet inviting, a very good option for buffet parties

Instagram : @foodparadise_india
https://www.instagram.com/foodparadise_india/

After a long time I visited Sigree for their street food festival which is on from 29th august to 31st august.
They had a huge variety of appetisers and even a live counter for the chaat items. Pani puri, sev puri, dahi bhalla and all of that good stuff. The Pyaaz ki Kachori and Palak Patta Chaat really stood out for me since they were just so yummy.

In the appetisers we tried a lot of interesting items like tandoori fried chicken and Dhuandaar chicken tikka which were well made. Patra ni macchi and kheema samosas were really tasty as well.

I tasted all of the mains out of which I liked the Chicken Lucknowi Korma the best. Even the fish in malabar curry and mutton vindaloo were good but the Kadhai Jhinga was superb. The chicken anda biryani was so-so for me.

There was a lot of variety in the desserts including mango cheesecake, chitrakut which was a sweet similar to gulab jamun and the Emarti and Malpua with rabri. The rabri could've been thicker and creamier though.

All in all for a price of 799 including taxes, the meal is just fantastic and I would recommend checking out the festival as well as their other buffet offers.

Sigree has come up with a street food festival wherein they're offering street style food from across India, from the mouth watering chats of Delhi to Mumbai's famous pav bhaji, they have it all. I was here to experience the same and my visit was a delightful one.

🔺AMBIENCE (4/5): The place is huge with a fine dining kind of ambience. Soft lighting, comfortable seating and sophisticated decor give the place a very rich feel and lavish charm.

🔺FOOD (5/5): I had been to sigree before and was in awe of the food here, this time around they managed to amaze me one more time.

✔️CHATS & STARTERS: We started with the chaats and pani puri. The sev puri, palak patta chat, bhajiyas were piping hot and we devoured them in no time. The palak patta chat was crispy and perfectly fried with a burst of flavors of the fresh chutneys.
The Banaras ki pyaz kachori totally took my heart away and we couldn't get enough of it, having ordered not one, not two but three servings just to relish the wonderful lightness and flakiness it had along with the delicious masala and tantalizing chutney on top.
Next came the appetizers. The babari aloo, chutney wala paneer tikka, chane ki shammi, grilled pineapple, gobhi 65, chilli paneer roll, moong dal chilla, pav bhaji were the items served to us and I was already drooling looking at them. The paneer tikka was fresh, soft and had a nice taste, along with the fresh chutney, it tasted amazing. I couldn't let go of the pineapple and had it to my heart's content. The chilli paneer roll was a wonderful one, with large chunks of flavorful paneer stuffed inside a fresh roll added with fresh onion and veggies, finished with sauce. It was something I really enjoyed. The pav bhaji totally impressed me, with the finely minced veggies simmered in a flavorful mix of spices served with hot buttered pavs. We finished it in no time. I also enjoyed the other appetizers like chane ki shammi, gobhi 65, moong dal chila and they were quite good too.

✔️MAINS: By now, I was already too full and had little room for the mains. The mains consisted of a scrumptious spread of aloo kali mirch, paneer butter masala, dahi methi subzi, baingan mirch ka salan, rajma masala, beans poriyal, pulav, smoked dal makhni. I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic taste of each of them. The dahi methi subzi and aloo kali mirch need a special mention here. They were cooked to the optimum and had a lovely balance of spices that gave them an excellent taste. The other curries were equally good too. The beans poriyal was wonderful and a healthy one to have. The dal makhni felt tangy which I didn't expect but had a nice smoky taste to it.

✔️DESSERTS: The dessert spread had a variety of options. The imarti with rabdi was a standout, with crisp hot imarti dipped in thick rabdi making it a heavenly affair. There was mango cheesecake, chitrakoot, Swiss rolls, boondi tart, rice payasam etc. and all were fresh, tasty and on point.

🔺SERVICE (5/5): A very warm and friendly staff with top notch hospitality that caters to your needs and serves you promptly. Totally impressed.

🔺VALUE FOR MONEY (5/5): The street food buffet at Sigree is only for a limited time so if you're a street food lover, you better not miss it. At 717 ₹ all inclusive, it's a fair deal considering the variety on offer and the quality of the dishes served.

Sigree has been home to some great hospitality in pune from past 6 years .

They have an ongoing street food festival and they have literally gone through the streets of Bengal , delhi , punjab , indore and almost every foodie state for food and brought the best on the table .

We were served with a lot of starters from
Street style paani puri
pyaz kachori
patrani fish
babri aloo
prawns
palak patta chaat
Anda chops
Mutton seekh
Gobi 65
Fried chicken
Parsi samosa
Chiila
Chutney paneer

Everything was great , especially the patta chaat., It was damn crispy and drooling!
Fried chicken was crispy and juicy ,just how it should be.

Coming to the main course and salads

Salads were pretty basic , like street style and homely

Main course was standard , paneer , chicken , mutton , birynai , dal makhani. Everything good on taste .
Sigree dal is a must try .

Desserts
Malpua were a bit low for me but apart from that , Cheesecake and the emrati were pretty amazing.
Emrati was so crispy which is unorthodox and rabdi served with it just mind blowing!

I would suggest to visit and enjoy this Street food festival which is going to be there till mid September.

Check my blog on Instagram @whatscookinginindia for amazing feed.

Sigree has lived upto its popularity since more than a decade now in many cities in India.

Their buffets stand out thanks to their distinct embrace with Indian cuisine.

Recently they launched their Street food festival ( ongoing at all branches) and we got an opportunity to try the best of their offering .

What he ate?

Street Fest Special ~

The fest brought back all nostalgia-ridden memories of dishes back to my mind- ranging from Dahi bhalla, panipuri, moong ke pakode , palak ke patte ka chat and more.

A free trip to the streets and bylanes of Delhi and Amritsar of sorts!

Out of this, what abosutely stood out what the " Palak ke Patte ke chat". Spinach whole leaves coated in gram flour and fried and then made into a chat.Absolute delight to taste buds.Although the chutneys on it added flavour , still the coating was crisp.

Starters:

Babari Aloo~

Being an ardent non vegeterian , I always take a leap to non veg starters usually, but a trail of this dish was a good decision. The ingredients are as simple as salt and a few general masalas but the after taste of this dish is a wonder!Their is a burst of flavours down your throat once you swallow the baby potatoes!! Magical!

Mutton Seekh ~Absolute melt-in-the-mouth minced meat with a spicy chutney to complement .Game changer.

Patrani Machhi ~Boneless fish mulled with coconut shavings and other spices and steamed in pockets made of banana leaf. Could have been spicier but then that's how I would like it. #classic

Among other starters were prawns, paneer , chicken tandoori and a variety of other dishes.

Maincourse:

From the main course arena, we had chicken chettinad curry , fish in malvani preparations, mutton curry ( I seem to remember only the non veg dishes alright!).

However , the dish that completely blew my mind was the smoked daal makhani. This is easily the best one I have ever had!! I have no idea how every grain of the daal could be impregnated with such burst of flavours! Absolute comfort food! The smoked flavour was intact and gave the dish its added zeal and appeal. The smell itself won me over.#justperfect

Desserts :

After our tryst with the enormous number of dishes, we hardly had any space left , but then .. desserts cannot be denied yeh?

So we finished the meal with some angoori gulab jamun tarts and freshly made imarti and rabdi.

Among other desserts, there was a choice of ice creams, mousse, pastries, cheesecakes, shahi tukda etc.

Another dish that I would specifically like to mention is the papaya chutney that was served along with starters. This is an in house recipe developed by the staff and the management at Sigree! Talk about innovation! This chutney an absolute compliment to most of the starters . Infact, I never realised before I finished an entire jar during our meal!

Overall a very very satiating meal !

Service ~

Sigree has carved a niche for their wonderful service and rightly so. I would like to thank Mr. Abhishek and Mr Sumit who took special care is not only serving the dishes but also introducing us to each dish, its background, the story behind and the way it is prepared.

This definitely helped know each dish better before merely eating it. A delight to speak to , both the gentlemen were very courteous and took care of little factors which would otherwise be overlooked.

#StreetFoodFestival #StreetFeast #StreetFoodAt Sigree

I visited Sigree recently for their Street Food Festival. Eating street food in a restaurant seems quite the opposite idea, but it was totally worth it! They've taken simple street food and made some delicious unique dishes. We had to begin the street food festival with Pani Puri (as always delicious). I liked their mini Dahi Bhalle too. They have a variety of starters too. My most favourite in the vegetarian starters was the Palak Patta Chaat. This was individual crispy palak leaves, with a great combination of chutneys, sev, tomatoes and onions. The other vegetarian appetizers I liked were the onion kachori (the onion actually makes it less sweet than other kachoris I have had and I really liked that), onion pakode, grilled pineapple (absolutely perfect) and the green chutney paneer tikka. I thought the Babri Aloo lacked enough salt and flavour. My favourite non vegetarian starters was the chicken dhuandhaar kabab (quite spicy), chicken baida roti, anda chop (great flavours) and the mutton seekh kabab. I felt the tandoori fried chicken was not cooked well, the patra machchi lacked salt and the Kheema samosa though very delicious, could have been presented better (it looked more like a flat samosa). The appetizers were really filling and I ended up just tasting a little bit of the main course. I loved the biryani, the Daal Bukhara, paneer butter masala, meen malabari curry. From the desserts, the baked boondi tart was my favourite. It combined Indian flavours in a tart. The paan flavoured mousse was very refreshing.
If you are a lover of street food and want to see it be elevated in the form of some really delicious food, with influences of street food from different parts of India, this Street Feast at Sigree is a must visit!

Sigree, Aundh - Street Food Festival (Till 31st August/Saturday)

Sigree is a legendary name that needs no introduction! And yet, utterly shameful for a foodie like me, because I've never been there before. They are hosting a street food festival and I finally visited and experienced the amazing food, service and atmosphere there.

The place is really nice, looks old school, but beautifully appointed. The main course and desserts are buffet style, but the starters, drinks and all the Street Food items have live counters, but served on your table.

As part of the Street Food festival you get an amazing array of Chaat, Pakodas, Pav Bhaji, Kheema Pav etc. The menu keeps rotating.

CHAAT - I tried, their Dahi Bhalla Chaat, Chole Galouti, Pyaj ki Kachori and Moong Dal Chilla. But my favourite were the Paani Puri and Palak Chaat! Pani Puri was fresh and crispy with wonderful minty water. Doesn't beat eating at a thela, but not bad at all! The Palak Chaat was uber crispy topped off with onion, tomato, sev and tamarind and green chutneys. It was the star of the day for me.

NON-VEG - Kheema Samosas were crispy, thin and delicious. These are Parsi style and traditionally had with tea. They are really flat and thin, with small amount of Kheema at the centre. I would have loved more filling, but I was told, this is how they traditionally are.

Anda Chop is a very Kolkata style street dish, hard boiled egg, coated in a crispy batter and deep fried. The Chicken Baida roti was nice too. Chicken Kheema and egg stuffed in a buttery paratha. So good!

STARTERS - Their starters are just amazing. In Veg, I had Chili Paneer roll, which was really nice and Babri Aalu. Tandoored marinated small potatoes.

The non veg selection was even better! Chicken Dhuandar Tikka was literally dhuandar! Medium spicy but super flavourful and tandoored to perfection! Jhinga Koliwada were crispy, fresh and super tasty. These 2 were just awesome dishes! I wiped the plates clean, while I was just tasting 1 or 2 prices of the other dishes!

Tandoori Chicken Fry was another amazing dish. Tandoored chicken with bone, then deep fried to crispy and tasty perfection.

MAINS - I was quite full after all the amazing street food and starters, but the mains looked great as well!

Smokey Dal Makhni and Rajma was something I had to try and I was blown away. Super tasty and absolutely soul satisfying! Will melt the most kattar of non vegetarians.

The Jhinga Kadhai, Murgh Lucknowi Korma and especially the Meen Malabar Curry were absolutely incredible! The Mutton Vindaloo wasn't very authentic, but it was very tasty nevertheless! I was bursting but I had a little bit of all curries. The Murgh Anda Biryani was nice too!

After all this food, desserts were push but imarti, sushi tukda etc was nice. Rest of the desserts were typical, mousse, cream based buffet desserts. Nothing exceptional.

MOCKTAILS - I loved the 2 drinks that I tried. Basil & Pineapple Swirls was sweet and tasty. Cucumber and Curry Leaf Tang was super refreshing and so different. Sounds heath food types, and was really hydrating but was really tasty too.

Cost - Weekdays, lunch - Rs. 524, dinner - Rs. 717
Weekends, lunch - 717, dinner - 799

Verdict - I think this festival shouldn't be missed. The dishes served are very different and really interesting. The price too is extremely reasonable for all this amazing food. The best part is there is no compromise on quality is spite if serving so much food.

Last weekend me and my cats went for the Sigree Street Food Festival. The menu was extensive and had so many dishes to eat. Our welcome was warm. Mr. Abhishek took good care of all our food and beverages. He is from Banaras and he explained all about the Banarasi food and culture while engaging in talks. A very interesting person.

We started of with the basic Pani Puri where there were 10 puris stuffed with street side taste stuffing. Served with the sweet and tangy water. The puris were fresh and the stuffing was done just right. Then there were so many dishes which came on the table at the same time like Dahi Vada, Pyaaz Ki Kachori, Anda Chop, Tandoori Jhinga, Chicken Tikka dry, Patra ni Macchi, Moong Daal Chilla, Gobi 65, Tandoori Pineapple, Babar ke Aloo (which was absolutely amazing)

Oh btw the owner of Sigree had this lovely item on the menu which was called Papaya Ka Achaar. Such a beautiful creation. It was an awesomesauce item.

We then took over the main course buffet in which the Mutton Vindaloo was tight in flavour. The Kadhai Jhinga was also nice, The Murgh Anda biryani was good too. Some buffet sides like pasta salad, lettuce, onions and lime were also kept to boost the flavours.

The sweet section had lots of options like Piping hot crispy Imarati, Malpua, Rabdi, Cheese cakes, Chocolate Swiss Rolls, Chitrakoot, Mousse, Vanilla and Strawberry ice cream. Yes we had all of it. The show stopper was the Shahi Tukda. It was epic.

With so much hygiene and care taken, Sigree nailed their street food fest and with a heavy burp we ended the night. We walked back home :)

The staff were well trained and polite. Each time they came in and asked us whether we wanted to repeat any items. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable. Full marks for the food, staff and the chef for curating such an amazing menu.

Food - 5/5

Hygiene - 4/5

Service - 5/5

VFM - 3/5
Sigree is excited to present a new edition of feast on the streets at the STREET FOOD FESTIVAL starting on the 16th of August.

The food on the streets is the tastiest and sigree a popular chain of restaurants brings you more closer to the crunchy, drooling and tasty food from the various streets of India !
From the hustling streets of Old Delhi to the by lanes of Amritsar to the Khau Galli of Mumbai & Pune.

The buffet is a special one with rotation of menu every ten days.
From Old Delhi’s favourite Sitaram Bazaar Ki Chaat consisting of Paani Puri, Dahi Bhalla & Moong Dal Chilla to favourites like Palak Patta Chaat, the starters will make you crave for more.
The starters were excellent with Pani puri served first ,follower by Dahi bhalla, Palak pata Chaat and pyaz ke pakore. Babri aloo was one Mughal dish which was less salty and very well cooked. The taste was exceptional.

Next up was pyaz ki kachori from the streets of Banaras, soft, crunchy and yummy!
Along with these they also served us a mocktail called curry apple cider.

The mains consist of classics such as Paneer butter masala, Gobi 365, rajma Dal, Baingan Mirch Ka Salan, Dahi Methi ki Sabzi and more. To end the meal on a sweet note, they had some droolworthy desserts comprise Baked Boondi, Imarti with Rabri, Sitafal/Mango Cheesecake and more.

All this at a economical cost! Sounds amazing isn't it ?
Head over and try it out now

Sigree, one of the most famous buffet places in Pune and currently they are hosting "Street Feast" festival. The whole purpose of this festival is to sophisticate the street food from the likes of Delhi, Mumbai, Rajashthan and so on and serve it on our plates.

Ambiance: Very rustic and beautiful, it gives you a nice royal feel when you enter. The classic combination of brown and white with yellowish lights, perfect family place indeed. Sitting is very cozy and comfortable. No music so you can enjoy the meal and chat with your partner\family. Overall good if you are in a mood of chit chat with great food served directly on to your table.

Service: Abhishek is the guy we interacted with. He's managing the place and very friendly, talkative, polite. Gave good suggestions for mocktails. He also gave us brief idea about the Street Feast they are hosting and what type of menu is there. Serving time of on trays is also good, we received nice warm food on the table that too quick. Overall, great experience and keep up the good work.

Food: It was my 4th visit to Sigree and the best one compared to last 3, the choices are more, more variety of food, quality of the food was excellent. Street food is always cool and when you can have a variety of food from different regions of India in a single plate, nothing else will please the palate.

Mocktails:

1. Basil and Pineapple swirls - Pineapple juice, chunks of pineapple, lime and fresh basil. Perfect taste, little bit on a sweeter side. Loved it.

2. Jal jeera Mojito - All time favorite Mojito mixed with desi jal jeera and mint, very refreshing indeed.

Kick off:

1. Pani puri - Suji puri's served with aloo and shev. Perfect combination of sweet tamarind water and minty green water.

2. Palak ki chaat - PERFECT !! Spinach leaf, deep fried, topped with sweet chutney, green chutney. chopped onions and tomatoes with shev. Just melted on the tongue, such a perfect dish this one is.

3. Onion pakoda - Crispy, home made style onion pakoda topped with chaat masala, sweet and spicy chutney and shev.

4. Dahi Bhalle - WOW !! So soft, little wada topped with lot of sweet and salty curd and different chutyney's. This one is to die for along with Palak chaat.

5. Mutton seekh kabab - Very north flavors, meat perfectly cooked, very juicy and soft, melt in a mouth texture. Loved it.

6. Bengali chicken fry - Crispy chicken, deep fried, little salty and topped with masala. Simple yet insanely delicious. Must try !!

7. Grilled pineapple - Simple, grilled pineapple, perfect taste breaker to switch from chaat to hardcore meat.

8. Fried eggs - WOW !! This was a surprise to us, boiled eggs deep fried with the special coating all over it. This one was again delicious and something very different.

9. Kheema samosa - All the way from Delhi, very thin coating, perfectly fried and meat cooked nicely. Very delicious. One of the best dishes of the day.

10. Patrani macchi - DISH OF THE DAY !! Fish perfectly steamed inside banana leaf, marinated only with little salt and coriander and topped with gritted coconut. This one is simply out of this world. I can literally eat it on every single day of my life, it is that good.

11. Prawns koliwada - Fresh prawns, prepared in traditional koliwada style recipe, cumin seeds and garam masala taste was very evident in coating. Another delicious dish.

12. Gobi fry - This one is little different than what you get in the other places. No corn starch is used so the cauliflower is not that crispy, it's bit on a softer side even after the deep fry. Mixed with fresh curry leaves and some onions.

13. Onion Kachori - Another masterpiece, onion kachori, perfectly fried and topped with all the chaat ingredients like masala, sweet and spicy chutney. Lots of onions all over the plate and loved it. This one is definitely for onion lovers.

Main:

After so much heavy dosage of the starters, we opted not to go with main but still tasted spoon full of the curries. Couldn't control the aroma when we visited the mains counter.

1. Mutton Vindaloo - Perfectly prepared mutton in Goan vindaloo style. Soft and melt in a mouth meat chunks in a very aromatic thick curry. Best curry of the day !!

2. Chicken Lucknowi Korma - Rich cashew gravy, nawabi style preparation. Chicken nicely cooked and gravy was really nice.

3. Mean malabar curry - Kerala style preparation of the fish curry, lots of curry leaves, mustard seeds and onions. Very different from all the North Indian flavors.

4. Prawns Kadhai - Kadhai gravy, very thick, lots of coriander seeds and garam masla, delicious along with biryani.

5. Chicken biryani - Very aromatic, chicken cooked perfectly, spiced perfectly. Delicious.

Desserts:

1. Rice Payasam - Rice kheer, prepared in Kerala style. Delicious, perfectly sweet and topped with malai.

2. Jalebi and rabdi - Warm jalebi with cold rabdi is a classic combination which can never go wrong.

3. Assorted creams - Whipped cream with chocolate twill and flavors like mango, strawberry and most delicious and unique betel leaf.

4. Chocolate Swiss roll - Very soft, chocolate flavor in every single bite, melt in a mouth texture.

5. Shahi tukda - Soaked bread, topped with rabdi and dry fruits. This one is also nice.

Overall, we had amazing dining experience. Definitely going to visit next time for sure for their next festival. Kudos to the team for serving delicious food. Keep up the good work.

I have very frequent to place but yesterday's initial serving & food quality experience was pathetic. Serving was very slow & hardly 30% of listed menu served that also not properly cooked.. Raised concerns with on Duty manager Abhishek & a other one(Name forgot). Manager's handled the issues very well and service and quality was improved to the Sigree's benchmark. Guy's please don't make your regular customer angry..

I had a corporate dinner party for 50 something people on 26th July at Sigree Aundh. I am writing this review to specially thank Mr Vishal at Sigree for arranging everything nicely and looking after the guests' needs promptly. The ambience was pleasant and well lit.
Coming to the main part-food. Chaat spread was yummy. Chicken starters were good, chicken was fresh, tender and juicy. I m not a fan of basa fish so won't comment on fish starters, although the fish was fresh too. Prawns were a hit. In main course my personal favorite was butter chicken and steam rice. Desserts were ruled by chocolate peanut roll and dark chocolate & mango mousse.
To conclude sigree gave us really a delicious BBQ experience in a pretty decent price. I will consider doing my cheat meals at sigree in future.
