Review The Barkhana - Pune

It was a wonderful family time spent. we went on a Friday night, the place is fantastic service is prompt and the DJ was brilliant. The inside hall where the DJ played was kind of family area and outside was open and smoking was allowed.So it's a win-win even if you go with a kid, my daughter particularly enjoyed a lot since she is not allowed in most bars and pubs.

The overall vibe is really good. The drinks are made to the point. Food is good and goes really well with the drinks. They serve some amazing cocktails. It's worth the visit. Note : They do include the service charges in the bill. But it's not over the top. Definitely a must visit if you want to chill and some weekend fun.

Amazing Place with really good interiors and sound/music set up. I visited on a weekday afternoon to try their Set Lunch Menu and to my surprise I was completely blown away by their delicious preparations. All the preparation were just mouth watering and special mention to Kadhai Chicken which was one of the best Kadhai Chickens that I have had so far. The set menu (Non-Veg) includes: ✓ Chicken Manchow Soup - 5/5 ✓ Potato Cheese Croquettes (3Pcs) - 5/5 ✓ Peshawari Chicken Tikka (3Pcs) - 5/5 ✓ Kadhai Chicken - 5/5 ✓ Laccha Parantha (2Pcs) - 4/5 ✓ Gulab Jamun (2Pcs) - 4/5 It's priced at Rs. 560/- including GST and Service Charge. The music was a bit loud for lunch setup and the management can consider playing soft music in the noon to uplift the vibe of this place for lunch seekers. I would highly recommend this place and this food option to anyone who is looking out for a decent place in Wakad to have lunch.

Recent Vista to The Barkhana was one of Finest and Delightful Experience till now.... In Mocktails....🍹 I had the pleasure of sipping on a Pina Colada, and it was truly a tropical delight. The cocktail started with a burst of beautiful pineapple flavor that instantly transported me to a sunny beach. What followed was the milky and creamy taste of coconut, which added a smooth and refreshing dimension to the drink. It was a perfect balance of fruity and creamy, making it a must-try for anyone looking for a taste of paradise in a glass. For the Starters....🍢 We had Potato Jalapeno Croquettes with Tandoori Mayo & Mushroom Schezwan Naanzaa... Potato Jalapeno Croquettes....🥔🌶️🧀 .....it was a flavor-packed experience. The croquettes had a satisfying crunch on the outside and a creamy, well-seasoned potato and jalapeno filling inside. What set this dish apart was the tandoori mayo – its smoky, spicy kick perfectly complemented the mild heat of the jalapenos. What a banger this place is. Absolutely loved it. Went here for bday celebrations the staff is very polite and courteous. The food is finger Lickingly delicious. The dance floor is great with some of the great music playlist. A must visit if you're arounr Baner or Hinjewadi phase 1.

Initially didn’t like the ambience but the food and service totally compensated for it. Absolutely recommend this place for a weekend get out. The ambience has typically bar vibes so naturally don’t expect for a restaurant vibe. Food and service 5/5.

Good place for refreshing. Music, food, seating arrangement and service, all on top level. Post many weeks of busy schedule, we finally thought of refreshing ourselves, we had cocktails, seafood, pizza, chicken...... Tasty food.... Our weekend started quite good!

I went there to celebrate my birthday, place was cozy, they have beautifully used the junk items. Their prawns was extremely tasty. Chicken was good too. They had offers only on alcoholic drink. Overall good experience but not amazing.

The live gigs are great. The DJ/ playlister Pratik is super cool too ( His Rock-Metal Playlist ❤️). The food portions are good and inexpensive. The service is awesome. All in all a wonderful experience.

Visited this place on Saturday evening. The crowd is cool and the service is very good. <br/>Ordered Crispy Corn, Mexican cheesy fries, Corn cheese seekh, Chatpata Soya Chap in the starters which was delicious. In main course tried Butter chicken , Punjabi paneer masala , tandoori roti , Laccha paratha and jeera rice. All the dish tasted yummy. <br/><br/>The ambience is quite good with one place separate for bar and other for family. Overall it was a good experience.

It was a planned visit to this place, and the overall experience was very much close to what we had expected. Perfect ambience with amazing decor. You get to see this place crowded during weekends, but still the staff and management handle the load very elegantly. Kudos to the whole team!<br/><br/>Food on the other hand was good (not the best I would say). Soya Chap and Paneer Masala had no salt at all, which we notified them about. Finally, we had to sprinkle some salt over them to make it taste better.<br/><br/>Other starters like Mustard Chicken, Crispy Corn, Cheese Fingers, Chicken Wings were too good. Chicken Chilly could have been better. Chicken wasn't that soft and didn't seem to be much fresh/juicy. Same was with the paneer chunks in Paneer Masala, which we felt a bit hard. Fish Fingers and Butter Chicken on the other hand, both were amazing.<br/><br/>In the breads segment, Lachha Paratha was perfect and no complains.<br/><br/>Parking too was very much hassle-free even on a weekend. Good service, even though I would suggest the staff to be cheerful a bit more. Bar counter at the centre to help yourself with drinks of your choice.<br/><br/>Beverages<br/>Sweet heart berry- a strawberry based mocktail, moreover like a milkshake. Good taste<br/>Cucumber cooler - Cucumber based refreshing drink garnished with slices of green apple.<br/>Barkhana punch - A great mixed fruit type drink to relax the mood. Topped with mint leaves. Tangy taste.<br/><br/>Food<br/>Aflatoon papdi paneer - spice marinated paneer kebabs arranged with small papads in between while serving. tasted good, but not a big fan of this dish.<br/>Paneer chilli - the classic paneer chilli as everyone loves it. went with friends last Friday for weekend get-together and i must say it's One of the Over rated Place in Wakad area, not that great food neither drinks... ambiance is also okay okay...

First of all they will ask you if you have reservations if not then they will ask you to wait which is fine but after waiting they will allot you a place which is totally not worth. They have live music section we well but if you don't have prior reservations you can't enjoy it and also they Will turn off music for outside dining. I mean if you are charging equally then you should have place to accommodate people and equal service. One more thing if you are a couple then don't visit this place at all because they will give you a table near entrance where you have all the disturbance and can not enjoy your food or drink. Hotel management should note this if you are charging everyone equally then you should provide equal service to all. Worse experience ever in pune.

One of the best place to visit in wakad for booze and catchup. This place gets a bit tight at night owning that they move the tables to create a temporary dance floor. Also you should have a first hand reservation there or you gonna have to wait for an hour as the queue is always long.The service time is a negative in food as it can take 30 minutes to have a thing delivered from order, other wise every other thing is good .

Barkhana could definitely be one of those places, one can go and chill on weekdays as well. We went on a Tuesday and it was nearly full. One can chill over few beers any day. Liked the ambience and the service was good.<br/><br/>We ordered pizza, nachos and tawa surmai(chicken). Honestly the chicken tasted pretty good compared to nachos and pizza. The nachos were okay and I personally did not like the pizza due to all the toppings.<br/><br/>My suggestion to them would be, if this could be opened up till a few hours late, it would be even more fun.

We were very much pleased by her hospitality..<br/><br/>Food we ordered were<br/>1) Chicken Nachos, it was well prepared<br/>2) Chicken schezwan kebab - It was good...<br/>3) At last we tried Chicken fingers, it spoiled everthing. It was too salty, they exchanged it for us but it was salty again, later they did not charged us as we had not eaten it. The gesture was lovely and we loved it.<br/>Drinks are at a mid range whereas food a bit at a high side.

I was here for a overdue dinner date with my husband, and wouldn't regret that we chose The Barkhana! The music was excellent. We were attended by Sonu, who was very polite, solicitous and attentive to our needs, given that I have a few food allergies. We had ordered something which had an ingredient that I was allergic to, but they replaced it without any qualms. Excellent menu, beautiful cocktails. A must go!

Went for a casual dine but the place impressed me as soon as i walked in. Well lit with a highway view we tucked ourself at the side table. The menu had quite to offer, we ordered Fish fingers and schezwan style chicken tikka. Chicken was fiery complimented well with the pint of budwiser. Fish finger was lip smacking. I want to try other starters but will save for the next review. For main course we ordered prawn masala with steamed rice. Quantity is just perfect for 2 when you had starters to fill in.<br/>Dj was playing bollywood hits without remixes that smoothen the dine even more. We ordered papdi paneer which you can see they have given Papad in sides. Pizza looks good but taste was poor it was basically sweet,couldn’t finish it though. They should improve the quality of food. Overhyped place
