Review L'apicio Global Kitchen & Bar - Pune

Sharan Thiruvalluvan
A good space for dining, the ambiance was pretty good and well maintained tables chairs etc. Food was excellent is what I could say. A perfect date spot with your favourites. Service was on point and no second opinions on it. Cost of food was yes on the higher side, locality, ingredients etc adds to yet I understand. Not a VFM place, we can dine in here occasionally considering the cost factor alone.

Food is delicious. Menu is international. Staff was polite and professional. Prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend this place for the food and ambience. Good place for catching up with buddies after work.

It really is a pleasure to sit and eat in this place. L' Apicio has a beautiful atmosphere and its own bar where you can watch the bartender be creative. The food just looks so amazing already, the way it is presented makes you feel like you are in a 5 star restaurant. And the taste of course is also exquisite. We tried many different types of starters, main courses and desserts and enjoyed every single one. The waiters were also very attentive and friendly. I really hope to come soon again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at L’Apicio, and I must say it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance that set the tone for a memorable evening. The highlights of my visit to L’Apicio was undoubtedly the food. Each dish that graced our table was work of art, beautiful presented and bursting with flavour that delighted my taste buds. It was evident that the chef at L’Apicio are not only skilled ,but also passionate about their craft. Every bite was culinary masterpiece, showcasing the perfect blend of ingredients and expert technique. Overall, my experience at L’Apicio was nothing short Amazing. The combination of delectable cuisine, talented chefs, and impeccable service menu for an unforgettable evening.

The food and the presentation was great...loves their pizza though a little over priced but was loaded. The pan seared chicken with mash potato was also amazing. The portion was sumptuous and good for the price. Only if they can reduce the pizza price.

Loved the food! We asked for some customisation and they did it as well! Very tasty and photogenic food.. loved the flavours.. best are the desserts, limited options but tried 2 and loved both. The owners were there too to talk and chat.

Multi-Cuisine restaurant with a good variety of dishes across the world. Decent amount of options for Vegetarian food as well. Service is nice and the staff are very helpful if you are not sure what to order or you don't have much knowledge about the food. The place is also really neat and hygienic. The food is generally tasty. A bit on the pricier side for regular family outings. It cost 2700/- for 2 people (no alcohol, vegetarian). But overall a good option if you want to have a fine dining Multi-Cuisine experience once in a while.

Great restaurant, great food. The staff is friendly and quick service. Got nothing bad to say, would definitely recommend it if you are in Baner. The chicken was tender and well made the dessert was the best of all.
Ritika Ranjan
Had ravioli, the sauce was soooo good though the ravioli itself did not feel that fresh, 4 stars for it. The superstar of our meal was the dessert, sooo good! We ordered not so French toast. It was dessert heaven. 5 stars! :)

Tasty Continental food and drinks. Nice ambiance. Clean. Enough parking space for two and for wheeler on balewadi high street. Clean washroom. Polite staff. Bit costly.

The infrastructure of the cafe was superb and the quality of the macaroons was amazing and hazelnut chocolate shake was one the best I had ever drank. Do visit the cafe guysss.

I’ve always enjoyed the food here primarily visiting the restaurant however in the lock down period I’ve had food delivered. What I’ve always liked is the consistency and the portions. Makes for a wholesome meal! Keep it going!

This place has a visually appealing menu hence was excited to try this place. And I must say the place did not disappoint me at any levels. They have a mixed cuisine menu and and each dish gives justice to its origin.

FOOD- 4.5/5
I loved the dishes I tried but I hope there is another dish on their menu that has the 0.5 factor.

DISHES TRIED-
Spicy kimchi ramen- 4.5/5
A bowl filled with well cooked egg, chicken, mushroom, scallions corn in a broth loaded with different spices and seasonings. One of the best ramens I ever tasted.

Peruvian salchipapas- 5/5
Crispy fries loaded with sausages and dressed in spicy hot sauce and thick mayo is the best comforting dish for all moods.

Watermelon jalapeno lemonade- 4/5
Refreshing lemonade with sweetness of watermelon and spicy tinge of jalapenos.

AMBIENCE- 4/5
It's a small, cozy yet well spaced spot and gives a warm feeling while you enjoy your food. They have both indoor and outdoor areas.

SERVICE- 4/5
The staff is friendly and helpful when you are confused about the menu.

COST- 4/5
It might seem little costly than other regular cafes but the food quality is also not like any regular cafes and justify the rates for the dishes.

This Place provides perfect Italian food. It has more options in Non-veg though but overall liked the food.

Exceptional presentation and balance in flavours. Their pasta is out of the world. Truly enjoyed the food. ( ◜‿◝ )♡

Okiesh taste for both red past and white sauce pasta. People were considerate enough to change the order wrongly served.

The best dessert I’ve ever had!

This is unarguably one of the best cafes in west Pune for casual dining. A small cozy place but great food!
Had - Pan seared Chicken breast in mains, which was delicious.
Cheese garlic toaster was great.
Belgium hot chocolate was a delight at every sip.
To finish with, blueberry cheese cake was wonderful again, though just like most other cheese cakes you would have had in other outlets.
Sure a little heavy on pocket. Its a 1k for 2 place.

We were the first customer as soon as they opened at noon. So we did not have to wait for a table. The ambiance is cozy and it is at its best in the evening.

We were super hungry and the menu looked appetising.

We decided on having Hazelnut Mocha and Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Hazelnut mocha was good. Well balanced flavors and the nuttiness in the end of every sip. It's a warm beverage which would go in the winters anytime. My personal favorite was Vietnamese Iced Coffee which was really amazing. Freshly brewed Vietnamese coffee and milk with iced cubes was a great combination and a perfect beverage in the summers.

We also ordered Cheese Garlic Toaster which was so good, I can eat that anytime, Probably I am coming to this place again just to eat this dish. IT IS A MUST TRY.

I ordered the day's special Brazilian Moqueca Prawns which was good too. Prawns were cooked deliciously, the sauce was awesome made up of coconut, pepper and tomatoes. The fried garlic sauteed with the prawns giving it the classic garlicky flavor was satisfying.

We also ordered Middle Eastern inspired chicken which was okay. Chicken was cooked to perfection, the sauce was good, however, all of those things didn't go that well for us.

Service was quick and the staff was helpful and amazing. Ask the staff for suggestions because all the dishes they suggested were awesome. Would love to go back again to try different options on the menu.

RECOMMENDED. :)

Though I haven't eaten here, they delivered with a handwritten note on my behalf. Thank you!

You have my attention when it’s mushrooms and cheddar! Could I ever miss visiting a place that has one of the best open mushroom sandwich in Pune?
I jumped up when we decided to visit L’Apicio with my friends in Pune, as I had heard rave reviews. Small and quaint; and that’s my thing. It is a small, and a very sophisticated place. You don’t need an extravagant ambience to be sophisticated; it’s how the menu is presented and how the staff is able to deliver it, in food and service. I was impressed as we entered the place, as the outdoor open seating was very unassuming. That itself talks about the owner’s guts to open a gourmet café in a small and simple setting. The food must speak for itself and yes it does.
We were so excited that we ordered a lot of dishes on the menu; as you can see from the pictures.
Coffee, Miso flavored Mushroom and Cheddar sandwich, Broccoli and Sausage stir-fry, Seafood Chowder soup, Roast Chicken with Parsnip and Potato mash served with a brown sauce, Matcha sponge cake and Chocolate Torte (I don’t exactly remember if it was called a torte or a cake, but anyway). And all this for 3 folks. Brilliant! 😊The first thing to arrive was the coffee and the mushroom sandwich. I dug into the huge sandwich and blimey! It was heavenly. Intense earthy mushroom flavored with miso, mix of cheddar and French mustard. I can eat this every day; I swear by it. The flavor was so intense that I can’t forget it and hope to figure it out one day, so that I can make it at home. Coffee was beautiful and complemented it.
Seafood chowder soup was yummy, but I guess it is just not my go-to flavor. The next big thing to arrive was the Roast Chicken with parsnip and potato puree and a brown sauce. This was so well executed that it talks highly of the chef’s skills. Soft juicy chicken, silky smooth puree and a rich, delicious brown sauce is all you need for a cold winter night’s dinner. Comforting to the stomach and the soul.
I can safely say “Roast chicken for the Soul” from now on. Cooking is art for my soul!
The chocolate torte was not one of my favorites there. It did not seem very fresh and the flavor was quite dull. It lacked the fresh tartness of raspberry that I was hoping for.
The Matcha sponge cake was a good dessert and well executed, I feel it was an overly complicated dish. There were too many elements on the plate, that left the palate and the brain confused. The crumble and the Wasabi jelly were unnecessary and did not add any value to the entire dish. If only the cake was served with a homemade whipped cream and topped with a tuile, it would make a more satisfying dish. As of now, I would like to skip it.
The wonderful thing about this place is that if you sit inside, you can see the open kitchen right next to you and the chef cooking. It makes it more exciting.
Lot of conversations on food and running. There were two runners and two foodies in the group. We came back very satisfied and happy. Do visit and try the mushroom sandwich. Its worth a mention and a visit.
I am waiting for my next trip to Pune!

#Value for Money :- 4/5 #Taste :- 4/5 #Ambience :- 5/5

It's a nice place to try some international cuisine, but it's definitely not for the faint hearted. Their in-house breads are great and they have a good menu too. But if you are visiting this place for the first time then you better go prepared to experiment and leave your Indian palette back home.
I especially love their desserts

The food is just amazing. The place is just wow man

So I wanted to visit this place since long time finally had a chance to go there last week.

This is nice, small and cozy place in Aundh.

I had ordered

1) french Onion & cheese sandwich
2) Peach Passion Ice tea
3) Dark Chocolate Terrine

Food quantity and presentation was great. It was delicious.

I just loved Dark chocolate terrine.

Service is good but bit delayed, staff is friendly though and will recommend you dishes if you cannot figure out what to eat.

Overall it was a great experience. Would love to visit again.

There is ample of parking space available outside this bistro.
My Rating is 4.5 Stars..
Mukul Lamba
A nice cozy place to have decent food and a good time. Would love to visit again :)

Delicious food. Most of the dishes were really different from what I have had. They have a very different flavor signature with exquisite layering of taste. I loved their Cream of wild mushroom soup, Pulled Pork sandwich and Poisson A la Nicoise.
Anupam Gupta
Not sure about rave reviews. The sandwich ordered here was pathetic. It was colder than an icecream .. prices are exorbitant. Not worth the price charged. Not at all value for money
Benji Johnson
I would recommend the pulled lamb sandwich and the green apple cinnamon iced tea any day.. The place is small and cozy and the staff is friendly too.

My rating is 4.5

I tried to visit this place couple of times before I finally could get a table without any waiting time.
Its was our girls nigh out.
The ambiance is really nice. I do not have any images but its really cozy and sweet. Nice to hangout with friends. Tables are really close so will not recommend for a date, but if both of you are foodie you must visit this place.

Service provided from this restaurant is really nice. It is quick and everyone is so polite.
One think I really loved about this place is you can see how your food is being prepared (If you sit inside the restaurant)

Food
We were like 3 hungry girls so we ordered plenty of food :D.

Beverages :-
Lemon
Peach pasion
Green apple cinnamon
So beverages are fine, not so much of ice like other restaurant served with ice tea.

Side dishes :-
Potato wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli - I loved the potato wedges, they were crisp and perfectly sliced.
Cheese garlic bread - Perfectly cheesy and seasoning was too the point guys. I could eat those cheesy garlic bread forever.

Main course:-
Pulled pork sandwich - We shared this. Bread was nice and firm but pork was quite dry.

Pan seared chicken breast - Potato mash less seasoned maybe but chicken was nice. Mushroom sauce was really nice. Overall the dish was nice.

Mushroom, Leek & Cheese Zapiekanka - I loved this sandwich. It does not look like sandwich but it was nice.

Brown butter sage & three cheese pasta - We choose Spaghetti pasta for this dish. Pasta was nice but I feel portion was less.

There was no space for sweets in our tummy, but I will try next time for sure.

Overall this Italian experience was nice. If you love Italian food, you must visit this place.

Loved , loved loved everything that I ate here.
We ordered the mushroom , leek cheese sandwich and hot chocolate it was just perfect. One of the we’re rare moments when I’ve enjoyed food so much in a cafe 🧡 Definitely would come back again.

Absolutely loved this place! The food is heaven!
I am going to recommend this place to anyone who asks me for a good place to eat. They have a good variety of dishes and everything is prepared with perfection. Their three cheese pasta is my new favourite! ♥️
The staff is polite and courteous. They constantly take your feedback.
And I absolutely love their cheesecake. I wanted to try all of it but unfortunately my stomach was full.
Would surely visit again for those tempting sweets!

If there would have been more stars, I would give them all to L'Apicio.
Even with some common modern interior things, it's ambience stands out. Specially the large glass showing you whole kitchen.
I can die for the French fries and souce they give. We had ROTISSERIE CHICKEN sandwich, SPAGHETTI BROWN BUTTER SAGE & THREE CHEESE along with a Hazelnut Mocha and Cinnamon coffee.
Pasta was so cheezy n buttery that we wanted more. Bread is inhouse baked. The sandwich was nice and stood little below all the awesomeness.
Coffees were average.
Review can't be complete without mentioning courteous staff and chefs. Very polite.

We could not try the de deserts but one of the chocolate dessert is must try.

I can die for French fries and the souce given with it.

Had ordered the food online, hence it covers only two items.

Caramel Poached Pear Salad - this was done quite well. Definitely recommended

Smoked Salmon Sandwich - this was a disappointment. The salmon was stale. Spoiled the entire sandwich, and the experience.
Gauri Upganlawar
I was disappointed as the sandwich was too sweet and plus cheddar and Swiss melt cheese was no where added. There was only layer of mozzarella cheese whereas the description said something else.
Even the bread was too hard to bite

L'Apicio is a small, cozy and cute little bistro serving some amazing European and globally inspired food. They serve some really nice sandwiches, salads, pastas, desserts and more. I tried their Mushroom, Leek and Cheese melt Kapiekanka which is a popular street food in Poland. It's basically an open face sandwich which is made on half a baguette. It was topped with sautéed white mushrooms, french mustard, english cheddar, yellow cheddar and mozzarella and it was nicely toasted as you can see with all that melted cheesy goodness. It was delectable. Also tried Peruvian Salchipapas which is a very popular Peruvian street food which is a mix of fries, sausages, onion relish, mayo and chilli sauce and it tasted amazing. So if your looking for some unique and delicious food in Pune do give this place a try!

We have tried their Breakfast & they are to die for. We tried the dinner menu and... it's a bit underwhlemed. Our meat dish came lukewarm and sort of kill our appetite. The choco dessert is good though. I hope they spend time to qc the temperature of the dish.

This place is magic!! The food is legen.... wait for it.... dary!! The desserts are extraordinary!! The ambience is cute.

The Pork Chops were delicious and tender; and with the ham, apple and walnut salad along with cauliflower puree, it was absolutely a medley of flavours!

Pan Seared Chicken Breast was wonderfully cooked; mashed potatoes was great and I absolutely loved the mushroom sauce, the flavours were balanced so well.

Dark Chocolate Terrine was spectacular.. so gorgeous and tasted heavenly. All the components and textures worked well together. Fancy and delectable!! I'll be back soon.

Food: 5/5
Ambience: 4/5
Service: 5/5

I had ordered for the spinach and three herb pesto pasta for lunch today. The taste was brilliant. However my 2 star rating is for the quantity. It barely filled 1/2 of my bowl and it was over in literally 3 bites. I really hope they improve on their quantities considering that their prices are on a little higher side
Indrakshi Banerji
The food. I keep going back here for the food.
Absolutely lip smackingly divine!
The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable.
Another bonus is the super cozy interior.

This place is like the best possible fusion of high end gourmet and comfort food and that's what I love the best about it.

Absolutely delightful food. The menu is refreshingly new as a global cuisine place. The place have 5 tables inside and plenty in its small courtyard. The open kitchen shows off the enthusiastic chefs preparing some delicious dishes. Ordered the mushroom soup which was easily the best cream of mushroom soup one had in a decade. The Kale, cranberries and quinoa salad was crisp with a delightful dressing. My dish of the red snapper on 5 country fries and green beans and garlic jus was amazing. The pesto penne was also up to the mark. The service is smart, quick and informative. The pricing is perfect. A great experience because of the amazing food.
Justin Peter
It really wasn't upto my expectation. I'm a bit disappointed with what I thought I'd be served based on the reviews. I'd ordered two sandwiches, out of which one of them was bearable enough and the other felt like a completely raw salmon added as a patty in there. I wouldn't want to come back here. Wish you a lot of luck though.
Isha
Small but amazing place. Love the salads and desserts. The Caramalised Pear salad is a must have. Great service. Good food with beautiful presentation.

Favourite place to grab a bite. Tried some finger foods. Service was really efficient and baked items were really good. Gotta try rest from the menu.

L’Apacio is one amazing bistro to have continental food! Globally inspired - True to it’s name , This place has a lot to offer on the menu.

Right from gourmet salads to sandwiches , ramen , middle eastern style chicken , soups , desserts , beverages and also classic pasta and risotto dishes.
They also have some really good smoothie bowls.

They have a compact but cute seating inside with a live kitchen.
They also have an outside seating with few tables.
The service is really good and the staff is very friendly and each one knows every dish on the menu and would recommend you the best always!

Must try : Middle eastern inspired chicken - Mocha - Potato wedges - Green goddess sandwich - Dark chocolate terrine

We visited this place reading the reviews. N we were glad we did so. We tried the smoked salmon sandwich and pork ribs. They were just amazing. Also their pastas and salads (in our next visit). The service is good and so is their food. We have recommended couple of our friends and would definitely keep visiting this place

Like the decor of this cafe , subtle yellow doors . Friendly and polite staffs . Plating is a art and they are fab in it .
Swedish Pancakes were too delicious .
The food was really good.. Very few places in and around Baner which serves good continental food... Good work guys... Will be coming back for sure.
Small suggestion, you may want to increase the Menu option..

Today was my third time visiting L’Apicio and I’m sorry to say that each time has been disappointing. The first time my chicken was dry and over cooked, the second time our fries had been cooked in old oil and every time, including today, the staff is eager to ‘educate their clientele’.
Makes for a very unpleasant experience particularly when the place doesn’t even have ventilation in its indoor section and the staff’s manners leave a lot to be desired.
Definitely a place I will not waste my time and money in ever again.
Rajas Joshi
The staff repeatedly lied to me about my order being ready, but they failed to bring it out until 35 minutes later when I went in to cancel. There are also flies everywhere. Will never visit again.

L'Apicio is one of my go to places whenever I cannot think of other options! The staff is friendly and service is great! This time we tried the French onion sandwich which was one of the best sandwiches I have had in a while along with Vietnamese iced coffee and a watermelon lemonade! The ambience is nice and the food really tasty! Must go and try this place 👍

Amazing place for a great continental meal! The staff is very warm and courteous, their recommendations are apt! We tried their chicken sausage spaghetti and middle eastern chicken with pita bread and it was delicious! Will definitely be visiting again very soon!

The place is not entirely bad...for instance the blueberry cheese cake was one of the best that I've ever had
But the mushroom leek and cheese sandwich was literally smelling like puke

Truly a place for continental food.
A cozy little café with a yellow decor. The yellow colour gives good feels. The café has an open kitchen.

We tried the following dishes
1. Potato wedges:
The wedges were cooked to perfection. They were crispy and served with sour cream and amazing sweet chilli sauce

2. French onion and cheese sandwich:
This is one of the best dishes at the café. The mozzarella and cheddhar cheese was oozing out and the flavour of the onion and jalapeños was bang on. I highly recommend this dish.

3. Garlic toaster:
Not very remarkable. Shouldn't really go for it.

4. Spinach and three herb pesto:
A different kind of pesto pasta. The pesto sauce is not made of basil. But it tastes good. Would really recommend you to taste the bloody mary pasta.

5. Vietnamese iced coffee:
The coffee really had good flavour and is a nice try.

6. Blueberry cheesecake:
The cherry on the cake. A very tasty and beautifully presented cheesecake. As expected!!

The food at this café was very artistically plated. Was worth watching. I would really like to give this place a 5/5 rating. However I would go for 4 because of lack of hospitality. One of the staff members in the café was really rude with us...

I was extremely disappointed at the order the restaurant has delivered to me. Have ordered for a Caesar salad and they have send me a bowl of leaves. I would never wanna order from Lapicio again. Disappointing service. It is not value for money! When I tried reaching them over Instagram to put forward my concern, they have blocked me. Zomato as well as the restaurant have not resolved my issue. Never order from this restaurant. They just keep looting you.

L'Apicio in Aundh has always been one of my favorites places. Their food is delicious and the plating is art. When I saw the dark chocolate terrain pics on this group I could stop craving to go back here again.

Some of the my favourites are
Carmel poached pear salad
Spicy Kimchi Ramen
Braised lamb shank
Smoked paprika pork chops
Peruvian salchipapas
Darch Chocolate Terrain

Actually everything here is delicious. Go figure :)
Active staff, good ambiance and the best smoked salmon sandwich I ever had. Will definitely return to try other items and highly recommend for all.

Located in Aundh, this place has a very diverse and off beat menu. Quite an interesting bistro and ambience is good enough. Even though it's a small and sweet place with less seating arrangements, but the food taste is simply superb and presentation is really good. The staff is quite friendly and courteous. Loved it for the exotic feel and enthusiasm of owner. Price is equivalent to almost a fine dine restro. Had tried the dark chocolate terrine and honestly this was something quite different and unique, would definitely recommended! Overall a wonderful experience and would surely visit again to try something different!
Service-4. 5/5
Taste-4. 5/5
Ambience-4/5
Price-4/5
Food-4. 5/5
Ambience: The first word that came to my mind as I was this place was CUTE ! It has this yellow decor thing going on with checkered floor . The outdoor area has a shade so it’s very cool and surrounded with green plants !
Food :
Sautéed vegetables: it had yellow , red capsicums , mushrooms , broccoli, carrots and some cherry tomatoes which seemed to be steamed and mixed with amazing spices and oils ! They tasted really amazing, loved it !

Swedish pancakes: It had two thin pancakes topped with some kind of berry whipped cream , very savoury , it was pink in color and 4 types of fruits - Apples , Oranges , Fig and bananas ! This was so scrumptious . Never tasted anything like it .

Blueberry cheesecake : This place is well know for its cheesecake. The base is so crusty layered with enticing cheesy frosting topped with rich blueberry jelly . It was well prepared and tasty .

Hot chocolate with marshmallows:
This was so heavenly. A cup full of satisfactory thick hot chocolate served along with two marshmallows!

Overall has a very good experience here , will definitely visit again and try other things on there menu !

After a long time of waiting (cuz the employees were busy shutting down the place at 10pm instead of preparing our food), the chicken was pink in the Center. The chef/server argued that the chicken was “just done” and he could cook it more for me but then it would get tough (ofcourse it would dry out). The argumentative nature of the chef and incapability to put a tender cooked chicken on the plate was a huge disappointment and I asked him to take back the food. After a few minutes, he served me the same food and the chicken still didn’t feel right. No apologies for serving a customer raw chicken whatsoever.
Pranav Hatiskar
Fried chicken Sandwich was too big and couldn't eat without disassembling it. Pasta was too dry and was without any side bread. Table service wasn't good. No one was paying any attention after serving the food. Had to go down to counter even to pay the bill as no one was around. You expect better service when you pay that much for food.

Nestled in the suburbs of Aundh, L'Apicio is the perfect evening getaway for the hungry Punekar. A quaint and cozy cafe with potential to become one of Pune's best food joints, L'Apicio did not fail to amaze our taste buds.
Service and Ambience: 5/5
The servers were incredibly courteous and willing to help in any way to make our experience at L'Apicio better. The decor is chic and stylish, straight out of a Parisian Bistro. The cafe mainly targets the millennial demographic, based on the decor as well as the menu.
Food: 4.5/5
We started with the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Sandwich. This is perhaps one of the best sandwiches I have tasted in Pune's cafes. The sweet and tangy taste of the pineapple combined with the smokey meat added a whole new dimension to the sandwich.
The B3lt2 , however, disappointed us. The sandwich was overloaded with flavours, dulling the senses and thus not highlighting any particular flavour. Personally, i felt that the fried egg was too runny.
Another plus point about L'Apicio's sandwiches is that they bake their own bread. The bread has the perfect crackle, acidity and airiness. It complements the fillings perfectly.
The Bloody Mary pasta is a little bit on the spicy side, but it satisfies.
The Pastry menu at L'Apicio very good. It is a rotating menu, so the items mentioned in this review may or may not be available when one visits.
At first, I was apprehensive about trying the Chocolate and Apricot Cake because I am generally against fusing fruity flavours with chocolate. However, one bite, and I was in love. The tangy pop of the apricot combined with the rich, deeply textured chocolate delighted my palate. It had the perfect consistency and left me wanting more.
The Blueberry Cheesecake was alright. It was nothing special, as most "hip" cafes and outlets have it, and it was very ordinary.
The macaroons are available in several flavours and have the perfect consistency and sweetness, which is difficult to balance, but L'Apicio seems to have managed it.
Overall, L'Apicio is definitely worth a visit and hopefully it maintains its current standard.
Must Try's:
Caribbean Jerk Chicken Sandwich
Chocolate and Apricot Cake
Rating: 4.75/5

There are so many café’s in Aundh. This one Lapicio is highly rated café in this area. So, I decided to try this out. But unfortunately, it was not my day. The ambience is very lovely and pretty. You really feel very pleasant at this place. The ambience is very colorful and interesting. But food is completely opp.

Food 2.5/5:- we have ordered one potato wedge and Spinach Sandwich. The wedge was good in tasty and decent quantity. But the Spinach sandwich was tasteless and was very oily was not good at all.

Service 4/5:- The staff is very friendly and helping. After we complain about sandwich is not good we didn’t like the taste, they replied our sandwich. Which was really a good and appreciative gesture.

Overall, I’ll say good ambience and service. But not the food.

The extra one star is for service.

What an amazing experience!

We went for a quiet Saturday dinner and we ordered this amazing Grilled Chicken with a rich mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes on the side & Pork ribs.

Both dishes were prepared in twenty five or so minutes and while we got slightly annoyed by the wait time, it would not be an understatement to say it was COMPLETELY worth the wait.
Pork ribs were tender, soft and juicy.

Chicken was soft, very well cooked and the mashed potatoes were also quite well made. I have had many similar dishes before but the reason L'Apicios grilled chicken stood out was because of this Mushroom sauce they served with bits of mushroom in it. It is a touch of genius to include the mushrooms but whatever taste they have managed to achieve is I am sure only magic by the hands of their cook.

It's a tiny joint and you get to watch the cooks prepare your food which is nice. At this rate, I am sure this small place will turn into a larger joint soon much like other hidden gems of restaurants (read Flying Duck)

This is a small place whose menu will make your mouth water and put you in a fix of what all you want to order from it. I had the Blt3 sandwich, which was extraordinary and perfectly cooked, filled with bacon and a sunny side up, and also the bloody mary spaghetti, which was one of the best spaghetti i have ever had. The presentation of the dishes was also very professional and of the level that could have only been expected from a high end restaurant. The price might seem a little steep for a cafe, but be rest assured that it was totally worth it.

Outstanding food. Loved the sandwiches. They bake their own bread and it’s superb. Will surely come back to try more options on the Menu. Highly recommended.

L'Apicio is a small Cafe located in Aundh. They serve quite a few cuisines like European, Italian and Continental.
We tried their potato wedges which were mind-blowing, perfectly crispy served with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce. Their basil lemonade and ice teas are fabulously good. The best part is that when one sits inside you can see the kitchen. Also their pesto sauce pasta is a must try. Absolutely loved it. Their sandwich was the only dish that was average in taste. Their service is super fast and the waiters are extremely generous.
A superb experience.
Definitely worth a visit 😊

Posting this review after my 5th visit to the cafe. Cozy little place in Aundh, with selective menu.
Wonderful take on the classic BLT. Asian inspired fried chicken is worth trying, along with the spicy kimchi ramen. Everyone must try the bombolini and the pink ginger lemonade(for a few the lemonade could be a tad sweet, but one may put up a request). There are a few more things that are worth trying, not to miss out the salads.

Overall, this place is ideal for Sunday eat outs. If you weren’t impressed in the first visit, another could be worth.

PS- management: please address the mosquitoes issue at the outside sitting. Visitors are advised to wear full clothing ✌️

I never thought that one could savour Ramen n Pesto pasta at the same eatery... n that too both the dishes being equally delicious. Lovely place with a unique charm. Good food, polite staff and quick service. Definitely going to visit again to explore the various delicacies. Oh and the dark chocolate macaroons are simply perfect.

I was disappointed with this place. However, i may try yet another time. I had ordered chicken with multigrains which were overburnt and that spoilt taste. Fries and garlic bread was fine.
