Review Arkie's Born Bakers - Pune

I recently dined at this restaurant, and it was an absolute delight. The food was not only fresh but incredibly tasty, and what's more, it comes at an affordable price. The restaurant's ambiance is beautiful, making it a perfect place to hang out with friends or loved ones. I highly recommend it for a wonderful dining experience that won't break the bank.

A nice cute place. Good food . I have not tried all foods just the blueberry cheesecake but that is too yummy. Their cakes are also good. Breads are also very tasty. They have a parking space for both car and bikes which is great. It is an AC place. It is self service there but the staff are also very sweet. Overall a good place to hangout and have some snacks.

The quality and taste of their cake is really good, a bit on the pricey side but they really do deliver in the taste department. I would recommend trying the 'Honey-rose petal' cake, the Dutch truffle cake and the chocolate filled donuts.

Just amazing, go try the cheese garlic toast, the chicken tandoori bread and focaccia. Friendly staff, amazing food and good place to vibe.

Delicious cake and other savory items. We ordered birthday cakes from this outlet and they never disappoint us. Their speciality is honey rose petal cake. Their puff and cold coffee is mind blowing.

The place is good for quick snacks. I tried chicken tikka Panini, veg puff and pizza. I liked the chicken Panini though the quantity of chicken was less for Rs. 190/-. Bread was fresh. Pizza was ok, I wish it was baked more. They do have fruit buns and different type of breads which are must buy. Also there honey flakes pastry was top notch, must try. The place has good ambience and parking space available just in front of the shop. Cost per person can be around Rs. 300/- per head approx for a medium order.

I just love the open kitchen idea they have in their bakery. They serve fresh baked oven bread and cakes. This place is a must visit for all sweet tooths. They serve delicious cake. I have ordered birthday cakes from them for the last 2 years with some cartoons on it. Sharing pics with you all. Hope you like it.

One of the best Bakers around, The have the most exquisite menu, every other thing is freshly made, They make the most unique and tasty cakes! The Garlic Cheese Toast and pasta is a must try for everyone! Good Ambience- Good variety of Food- Excellent Quality & Taste. Average-> Above average Expensive You'll need 300-400 bucks for 2, for quick snack bite.

Nice Cake. (Caramel Crunch) Best everything. Their are both veg and non-veg. So you can enjoy. And they make customize cake also. Enjoy with your family and friends . I have just taken caramel cake. It cost me around Rs:430. It was so tasty 😋. I will cake photo. Thanks.

A great place to visit and hangout. Once by mistake I spilled my coffee, they gave me another one for free. I mean you can guess how the staff is from this incident. Leaving this thing, I love to the CHEESE GARLIC BREAD here, the taste is just amazing must try dish, and for coffee i will recommend THICK COLD COFFEE must have😋😋😋😋

It's a cosy cafe tucked away from the hustle bustle of the city. Love their thick cold coffee. We always order it when we visit. Black forest pastry was fluffy n yummy. The Dutch truffle has a rich chocolatey bitter taste. Pastries were very fresh. I also buy the multigrain bread loaf from them. It's a good accompaniment to my chicken gravies at home.

One of the best cafes in the area. Loved the atmosphere in and out. Great stuff available. Veg Puff are really a good one to eat with a twist of flavour. Thick cold coffee is just awesome. One of its kind. And the pastries are marvelous.

I ordered Chocolate cream cake for my husband's birthday and it did not disappoint. I am more of a fruit cake person and not a chocolate fan, but this cake was exceptionally delicious and so creamy. I couldn't describe how much I loved it. <br/>Also, all of my family members found it delicious.<br/>The delivery was via swiggy and was done in time.

Tried this thick cold coffee with crunchy cookies and mocha and it was amazing. Its a good place to hangout. They also have cakes for celebrating birthday's.<br/>

I've been a regular visitor to this place since a couple of years now. Need to admit that it keeps me want to come back. There are a list that I like from this outlet, from cakes to the breads. Chicken panini sandwich is a must try. These Barker's continue to maintain the quality even in such situation. Highly recommended bakery.

Have visited this place twice . Service is quick. They have very limited options. Tried their sandwich which was yummy wasn't disappointed with the taste. Very clean. Good place if you just want to grab a takeaway.

The staff are not equipped to handle large crowds at all. Have experienced this twice already, at one instance they mixed up the order and the last time they forgot our order and had to be reminded twice before we finally got our food.

Went here for the Zomato rating. The food quality was terrible. Had ordered both chicken pastas, muffin and Irish coffee. All of them were equally terrible.

Quite decent when you eat there but if you're taking away, it's a mix of a few fresh pieces and few stale ones. Very strategically done.. but does it work? #shame!!

I have been a loyal patron of Arkies since 2013. Their taste has been at a constant best as always since 2013. Every celebration cake coming to my house has been from Akries and in all these years I have not gone to anyone else.<br/><br/>However, things have changed. Yesterday, on my Birthday, I ordered a well decorated black forest cake. The cake was very beautifully decorated and was very exciting to look at; BUT sadly it didn't have the taste of what Arkie's meant to me for so many years. The cake was tough and dry and the baker had raised the height of the cake my using excessive buttercream icing in its layers. In an old previous review of mine about Arkie's, I remember praising them for being one of those baker who always had a good cake-to-cream ratio in their cake. Not to sound too harsh, but their cake was much like black forest cakes sold in those small bakery stores where the cakes are mostly hard and tough,<br/><br/>I seriously have to start looking elsewhere for my celebration cakes from here on. <br/><br/>But, will always miss the Arkie's taste.

I used to go to this place every alternate day mornings for breakfast at around 8 AM. I go here specially for banana bread, Crrosiant, donut and cappucino. I like the food too much as per their quality but morning time there are two people on the counter one boy and one girl.<br/>Whenever i see that boy he is happy, smiling and give the order fast also.<br/>But that girl i have not seen smiling, she is very lazy, take too much time to make coffee also. <br/>One day one customer ask her that washroom is locked is somebody inside or its locked. Instead of checking that she said i dont know anything as housekeeping know this. I think when u are working on the counter u should know everything about your shop.<br/>Its not I am complaining about replacing the staff but as per the type of good business u have u should train your staff that how to deal with customers and always smile when u talk to customers. <br/>It was annoying me for so many days thats y i shared this with u otherwise there is no complaint about your food its Awesome.<br/>Thanks.

The cakes have been really awful lately. We got the caramel cake few weeks back and it was mostly cream. Whatever little is cake was there was dry and tasted stake. Chocolate fantasy (or something similar) was just a bit more edible. But again the actual cake was dry and tasted stale. Real disappointment because we used to really like their cakes earlier

A cute little place located on the main road with a good variety of dishes for being a cafe, its got lots of Italian cuisine, desserts, shakes, north Indian, etc. Liked the cosy seating space here.<br/><br/>I tried the white sauce pasta here which was really tasty and cheesy. I just wished they added more veggies but had a decent quantity for a 2 person snack.

2 stars for only food. The experience I had with service was terrible. Their was no card payment available for some reason and in this digital age, there was no UPI or Google Pay or PayTM options either. The donuts and chocolate rum balls I ordered were not heated enough they were as cold as they were kept in the cool storage. When asked for reheating, I got completely melted donut which I cannot heat. I mean why couldn't they perfectly heat? Considering they're so popular and well-known bakers, atleast this thing should be known by the people on counter. The photo I added is before heating!

Not reccomending this place. They serve expired cake and they don't even agree that their cake is spoiled if they couldn't return the amount atleast they should agree that they haven't use good products. And the staff is not appreciable.<br/>

Nice cakes... Personal favourites honey rose cake and the chocolate dryfruit cake. Their combinations are never heard of before. Only taste good when made fresh after a day they trend to get a bit dry

Very sad with the service and quality. We had ordered for paneer pizza but were given chicken pizza. After providing feedback got this pizza in return. Look at the amount of color used on the paneer. We could not have this pizza and called to give feedback as this was dinner for one of us. Feedback was taken very casually and at the end I had to skip my dinner. Absolutely unprofessional.

This is my favourite shop when it comes to buy cakes for special occasion. This birthday we bought fresh strawberry cake which looks beautiful and taste yum. Also we usually buy Dutch truffle cake and it’s also best. All items are good here.👍

This place is best for cakes and fast food.. I’ve tried a lot of things here.. I recently tried thick cold coffee and ice tea with extra ice.. you will love it once you try.. the place is not costly and you can enjoy with friends and family as well.. do visit❤️

As mentioned in other reviews, the speciality here is honey Rose petal cake and pastry. I didn't find it anything extraordinary in that. We ordered pastry and it was quite hard and smelled a bit different. Next day I got a sore throat. Seemed not a fresh one like 2-3 days old.

Went to Arkie's for a quick bite post dinner. The blueberry cheese cake was so baked with love. Dutch truffle pastry was also sumptuous and tasty. Mushroom vol-au-vent was amazing. 5 stars to the products, ambience and staff.

Awesome place for hangout or birthday celebration.. I really fall in love this plce. Peaceful and spacious. We ordered macroons and icetea.. ice tea is ok ok but macroons are fabulous. Must try..

So this place.. v tried ChocoAlmonds, Pizza veggie delight, Mushroom Au-blahhhh blahhh - blahhh! Also, v ate things tht I'll caption along with photos. And everything was good. So was d ambience. This place is my go to place whenever I crave for something sweet! I looooove their cinnamon donuts. Their red velvet cupcakes are to die for!! Whenever my birthday comes up I ordered these cupcakes in bulk and distribute it to my coworkers so that they too would share my joy with these cupcakes! Anytime a colleagues birthday or anniversary comes up, you can find me here ordering up a honey rose petal cake! Ordered a basic pineapple cake for my Dad’s birthday. It was fresh and tasted just right. Was delivered in good condition by Zomato in spite of rains.

The paneer burger was awesome really awesome I loved it. Worth the money it was for Rs 75. The ambience is quite friendly and the service is good.❤️

Chicken panini sandwich is my all time favourite. Arkie’s is extremely value for money and the food is worth every penny. Great quality and service.

Honey rose petal cake from arkie's is one of my most favourite cake in Pune. They have huge variety of baked food and snacks. The ambiance is nice. Staff is friendly. I love the veg burger.

It’s been 4 years I have been trying Arkies but I must say there is no change in its flavor and it’s taste truly loving it ! To add I have ordered chicken arabiata and chicken alfredo pasta and red velvet muffin which was very yummy!

A decent and cosy cafe although the blowers on the ceiling throwing air conditioned air can be toned down. I thought my coffee cup would fly off, despite the coffee in it!!<br/><br/>Plenty of parking for 2 wheelers and 3 for cars.<br/><br/>The interiors are quite cosy and comfy. The ambience is ok.<br/><br/>The staff needs to be a little customer sensitive.<br/><br/>I was in meeting with my VISA consultant over a coffee and a couple of staff members sat at the table behind creating quite a ruckus.<br/><br/>At 10 in the morning.<br/><br/>I wished the lady behind the counter a good morning before proceeding to order 2 coffees.<br/><br/>All I got back was the bill, a,"... your PIN sir...!" and a cold look!!<br/><br/>The coffee may be good here but did not quite suit my taste. It had a mild overpowering flavour of milk. And I HATE milk; being a South Indian accustomed to strong filter coffee.<br/><br/>But I am sure Pune's little love birds would love to walk in for a few, otherwise uninterrupted moments.<br/><br/>Cheers!

Visited this place once. This is a fancy looking bakery with good ambiance.<br/>Had couple of pastries, puff and chicken fingers. Taste was ok. Had ordered a cake for a kid's birthday. Cake looked nice but taste was disappointing.

Arkie's is a go to place not only for sweet tooth-s but also for savoury lovers. Cheese garlic bread served here is one of the tastiest and pocket friendly one can find in the city. Macaroons and pastries served here are amazing too. Other items that you can try are fries and mousse. Almond Chocolate Rock is my favourite chocolate of all time. The one thing that can never fail you here is the hygiene, an extra point for that indeed!

Nice Place to have pastries, The pineapple one is one of my fav...The Pasta and Garlic bread are ok. The Garlic bread is very flat with not much garlic flavor into it. The pasta was nice with red sauce, well prepared. It is marginal expensive what it looks like for pastas and Garlic bread, else all the pastries and cakes are real treat. :)

A not so big, bakery cafe, which offers a wide variety of foods at moderate prices (ie. Just a little bit more than pocket friendly prices). Ample parking space for two wheelers and attractive pastries and delicacies are its positives, whereas a bit crowded seating and unaesthetic presentation are its negatives.<br/>What I had:<br/>1) Paneer Vol O Vent: A basket-like preparation (of texture almost similar to khari biscuits) filled with thick paneer gravy, giving it a tempting aura. I was more attracted by the name.<br/>2) Chocolate tart : Regular chocolate tart, but the bitter sweet taste and the freshness made it a bit special.<br/>3) Cold Mocha: Thick consistency, almost perfect combination of chocolate syrup and coffee, making it very pleasant to drink. Would be even more refreshing during summers.<br/>4) Cappuccino: Good attempt. But could be better. <br/>Good place to hangout and have coffee and desserts. Breads of different types available. <br/>

Ordered from here in Dec 2017.<br/><br/>Yay:<br/>1. Since it was Christmas-time, we bought the plum cake. I thought INR 250 for 250 gms was steep. But after eating it, I've decided it was totally worth it! Wonderfully moist and spongy ( even one week after purchase), slight hint of liquor infused, lots of raisins, dry fruits and other goodies. Scrumptious!<br/>2. Veg cheese grilled sandwich : you get 4 large triangles, so it's more than enough to fill you up.<br/>3. Chicken tikka panini : delicious! Very filling! I literally forced myself to finish the last few bites because I was stuffed to the brim but it was too yummy for me to leave a single morsel on the plate. Rather spicy, though.<br/>4. Minor point, but excellent coffee! <br/>5. Ferrero rocher pastry : heaven on a plate. Just like the ferrero chocolates have crushed almonds/hazelnuts/whatever-nuts in the sphere around the central nut, the layers of the pastry have crushed nuts too. It really feels like a pastry version of the ferrero Chocolate. <br/><br/>Meh:<br/>1. Chicken tikka panini is way too spicy. Between the (spicy) hot panini and the (temperature) hot coffee, I practically had steam coming out of my ears!

Pasta is really bad

Have been here for many times. Have tried it's chicken sandwich, chicken kadhai roll, cheese garlic bread, cold coffee, veg n chicken puff, fererro rocher pastry, chocolate mocha cake. I suggest to try Chicken Kadhai roll n Cheese Garlic bread for sure. Good place to hangout with Friends.

A good place for a brunch! The ambience is quite decent. Garlic bread and pasta's are a good treat. The beverage's are also good but the pastry's and cakes are better(Dutch truffle). The Bakery has a good variety of sweets and fresh breads. Friendly staff.Good place to hang around.

Hello Arkies. Whats up :-) I was there yesterday with my chef for a surprise visit to check out your Apple strudel and some of your drinks. It was good and we enjoyed our self. Only thing you close very early.

Arkie's is a fancy cozy bakery with nice ambience, friendly staff that offers delicious bakery products and other food within pocket friendly budget. They can improve a little more on their service.<br/><br/>I'm a regular here on Sundays. Double Omelettes and Cappuccino is a must thing for me here. I also love their Chicken Panini, Chicken Puff and Veg Red Pasta. Dutch Truffle Pastry and Mocha pastry is good too. Lemon Ice Tea during summers is equally worth trying.<br/><br/>Overall a nice place with really good food to offer.<br/>

Easy to spot on NIBM road and plenty of parking space is available.<br/><br/>Ambiance: Cozy little place with bright lighting and descent sitting arrangement. Sitting arrangement is very comfortable. Place is always crowded, mostly with teenagers and family's with little kids enjoying desserts and snacks. Vibrant and colorful pastries and macaroons grabs the attention once you enter and the typical bakery aroma makes you want to eat everything. Pretty impressed with the ambiance.<br/><br/>Service: Service is not that fast but still pretty descent considering the small kitchen and the crowd. Staff is friendly and always greet you with smile.<br/><br/>Food: Macaroons is always one of the most attractive thing for me and this place serves pretty descent ones. Birthday cakes have multiple flavor choices and also many different varieties you will get here.<br/><br/>Cheese chili toast: Simply amazing. Bread is very soft and fresh, ample amount of mozzarella and topped with oregano and chili flakes. Quantity is very good compared to the price and tastes good too. Its a win-win situation.<br/><br/>Vol-Au-Vent: Very unique and iconic thing, which is very hard to find in Pune. Vol-au-vent is a hollow puff pastry with a small hole at center where stuffing can be filled. It is served with Mushrooms and Paneer toppings. Puff pastry was bit dry but the mushroom filling was really tasty and I would say everyone should try this just for the way they serve it. Very good dish and highly recommended.<br/><br/>Cafe Mocha: Classic mocha with the combination of espresso, milk and chocolate. Tasted pretty descent, I would not say its better than Starbucks but still the quality of coffee is very fine.<br/><br/>Overall, very good place and pocket friendly too. Will be visiting soon for Macaroons and pastries.

Amazing place. They serve really amazing blueberry muffin. Friendly staff. Ample sitting place. Nice place to chill out with good vibes. Just too crowded in the evening

Cinnamon donuts are just too good, came here for macaroons but love everything else except for macaroons, overall its a good place to chat n have a quick bites, prices are ok too

The cheese balls are fantastic. So are the kadhai rolls and the honey- rose petals pastry. The only thing is that the service is rather slow and the cheesecakes aren't that great.

Juz odered pinapple cake from arkies born bakers...n I must say I m very disappointed wid d quality of the cake...i odered for my sisters birthday n it was such a mood off.. d cake didn't seem fresh at all...n it was mostly coverd with thick layer of cream n d cake layers were onli coverd wid pinapple jelly..der were no pcs of pineapple in it...it was really not worth d money...pls guys chck befre odering Arkie's Born Bakers

Ambience (4/5) : A pretty setting to chill out and have a great time.<br/>Food :<br/>Chocolate croissant (5/5) : chocolate infused puff drizzled with more chocolate on top. The best.<br/>Baked cheese cake with blueberry (1/5) : this was eh, not that good. The cake seemed a little soggy and the blueberry topping didn't seem to go well with it.<br/>Service (5/5) : the staff is amazing.

I loved the ambience there... The chocolate brownie with ice cream was amazing!! If I lived a little bit closer, I'd go there every single day!
