Review Zen Cafe - Pune

Ishwari Pawar
The place has excellent collection of coffee and baked goods. The vibe of the place is nice. The staff is helpful and coordinates well with the customer, also offers suggestions according to your liking. Would recommend trying Cinnabon here and different types of coffee(all are great).

In the evening, I visited Zen cafe for coffee and a croissant. Their outdoor seating is stunning, and the serve wares' aesthetics are on point. It's a perfect spot for catching up with friends or going on coffee dates. So we ordered 1. Latte mocha - best part the small cookie with it 2. Cafe mocha - delicious 3. Almond croissant - super perfect, buttery and creamy, must try i would say. 4. Onion rings - ok ok, onions crunch & taste was suppressed by the batter covering 5. Fuchsia (parcel) - so fresh and tasty. Based on my experience, I must say their bakery items are incredible. I'm eager to explore other offerings from their menu.

I am at the heart of nature. Zen. Exactly the way this cafe has been named. I am Zen. I feel Zen. The trees, the plants, the lights, the wooden architecture, the matte black contrast. Wow. Work cafe | Dates | Me-time Cafe | Art

Food is amazing, staff is very well behaved, and food is not that costly especially considering KP. Great art books too, if you are eating alone. But the place is very tiny and the tables very small and close by. It's so loud that you cannot hear your lunch mate speaking šŸ˜…

The ambiance and food are amazing. Had a great time here with coffee and some appetizers along with my laptop.. there are plug points where you can sit and enjoy work with good and healthy food. I would recommend this place for those who like healthy eating and want to enjoy work simultaneously.
Viraj Shinde
Good place to visit if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place. Mostly hot and cold drinks are good. They also have a parking space for two wheelers. Coffee and sandwiches are a little bit pricier but have good quality and portions are worth the money. Must visit.
Shambhavi Joshi
Accidentally discovered this place, but the best decision to visit here and sit for some quick work. Loved the ambience, 10/10 will recommend the hot chocolate here! Will visit again for food soon!

The place has very calming vibe and very peaceful to have a good chat with friends or to work. They have good spread of coffee and coolers. The food is also very scrumptious. We ordered Avocado toast and Zen platter. It was very filling for 2 people. In dessert we ordered banana cake which was quite sweet for taste. Overall experience was great and enjoyed the service. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
Pallab Pain
Loved their medium roast pour over and the desserts. The pizza wasnā€™t anything great. Very calming and comfortable atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting again for their coffee.

This place has a very good ambience, outdoor as well as indoor. Many food options. Food portion is decent and delicious. This place can be considered as co working place if you are bored from work from home. As many people come here, sit and work here for long hours. About food, I have visited this place many time so tried many dishes. My favourite Zen platter, it has many dishes included in small portions. Also, burrito with spinach, and sushi with avocado. One must try this all. Those are testy. Coffee here is obviously good with small cookie they offer.

Absolutely Wonderful... Everything about this place is just wow.... The Staff The Coffee The Ambience
SUPRIYA PALANDE
Visited it especially for croissant and the taste was really good. Peanut shake was good too, although wish it was more thick
KANAKA SHIRALI
It's a quiet cafe with not much seating available but the ambience is very blissful. Menu variety is vast and must try vegan chocolate mousse cake, croissant and coffee. You can work there in silence and enjoy the good food. The staff is very quick, efficient and helpful. The cost can be pricy but one time worth it. Located at the end of the lane. Parking maybe available locally.

A very cozy and comfy cafe for a date night , family gathering or else to hangout with friends! The coffee & Ginger honey Lemon tea was amazing and strong - I've heard the food is amazing as well but probably I'll try it the next time I visit. I was in for coffee this time !

As expected! From all the reviews which i had gone before coming here & I'll try to make in short and to the point. See the place is calm and has amazing crowd ! Not a chapri sort uk what i mean ! Like haven't seen any girl before wala ! The outdoor place is good quite pleasing breez u can get and the overall place is not so big but good . I personally recommend u all to have the almond croissant or the chocolate croissant the best u can get in KP ... Tbh i went for that only to actually see and taste it and it was awesome! 10/10 , some pics I'll be sharing so please have a look ! Ull get to know what i mean ! Iam not so good when it comes to 100% expressing things People say i always overthink ! So better ull see the photo's. Total bill went up to ā‚¹700 oh and hey they charge service tax in the bill and as uk it's optional to pay ! If u want then only u have to pay ! Or else u wil pay normal' amount! It's not up to the cafe to purposefully ask u to pay make sure u don't pay that ! It's 50ā‚¹ man ! Better u help someone who is hungry with that 50ā‚¹ . Give them 5 vada pao . Ok i went off topic but yeah that's it. Go for this cafe it's great.

Coffee Date with hubby. Selected Zen Cafe as it has been on my list for a long time .The first impression when you enter is Oh No as all tables are occupied with laptops. Were left with the bar seat next to the window. The place is peaceful on a Monday afternoon and perfect for coffee and cake. Order a cappuccino, banana bundt cake and their bestseller hummus and tomato and kalamata olives panini. It was delicious, the cake was perfect with coffee very soothing. The service and food was top notch that makes you forget the laptop screen flashing all around you. Shall visit again for sure. Valet parking is available. Located in the same lane as Starbucks and Savya rassa.

Best place to work peacefully and very nice coffee and food... Try their non caffein infusion drinks.

Iced Nutella latte & Espresso smartini........šŸ˜• no blend of flavours latte being super sweet with no taste of coffee and smartini being super watery and no taste of the hazelnut syrup (as per their ingredients) .Zen Cafe I oblige you to please look into this .

Love. Love. Love. One of my most favorite quaint places in Pune. The food is fresh and of really amazing quality. I go here time and again and have tried almost everything on the menu. Roasted pumpkin ravioli always take the cake for me. I fancy the power juices as well. The service is very attentive. Kudos!
Sunil Jeet
Amazing evening at Zen Cafe. I came with my friends, I love your caramel latte it's really awsome. Ambrance is very attractive and enjoyable. I like to say thanks to Jui. She is good assets for the cafe.

One of the best vegetarian places in KP, Zen Cafe has a great range of Coffees. I absolutely loved their Ginger, Turmeric Espresso Tonic, Zen Cappuccino, and Salted Caramel Latte.Ā <br/><br/>The cheese croissant here has a crunchy crust with yummy, gooey cheese. Worth a try!<br/><br/>The quesadillas and sandwiches are great and the bread and tortillas are extremely fresh.Ā <br/><br/>Not a fan of vegetarian sushi, but this place does a decent job at it.Ā <br/><br/>I love the cozy ambience and wooden seating. The service is great too!
Deepali Parida
Zen stands true to it's name - quite, peaceful and Serene. This is just the place I would love to be to have meaningful conversation's or to introspect with myself. Everything about this place is minimalistic and clean. I tried guacamole with nachos n pita bread with hummus. The guacamole was fresh, light with the finely chopped onions adding a nice crunch to it in every bite. The bite size freshly baked pita breads were just perfect. I packed a slice of carrot cake to relish it later. Next time will try the coffee for the hazelnut cookies served alongwith it.
Vishaka Ayalur
The pictures make you want to eat the cake. The food *looks* delicious but it wasn't! The mocha cake tasted like a pre-mix cake and the chocolate cake was just bad. Having said that, the Coffee and Hot Chocolate here were great and I would surely recommend trying their hazelnut cookies. I'd surely go back here for its vibe.
Siddhee Saraf
The cafe really resonates with the name. It was such a fresh breath. The interior was so minimal and calming. Anyone with an eye for zen will never want to leave this place. Itā€™s a little hidden but was worth looking for. They keep a variety of books that you can sit and read. I had such a great time here. The falafel salad was a treat!! Unwinding has got a new location. Must try for everyone.
Anand Shekhar
Great ambience. Quite peaceful place. Maybe i ordered the wrong coffee which was ginger and turmeric, which was not good. Will definitely be back here to try other variants
Vedang Sonawane
The ambiance is very good and you feel relaxed sitting in this cafe. However, besides their coffee and croissants, food needs a serious improvement. I have been to this place thrice in over a month and tried their menu.<br/>Panini sandwich and zen platter. The sandwich was average and platter was bland. The only thing I liked in the platter was crispy chips with hummus dip. Otherwise, food needs makeover.<br/><br/>Though the staff is very good and I happen to find myself in this cafe again and again. Hope the food would be good too.

I guess I never felt more healthy and guilt-free while having my meal at Zen Cafe. This vegetarian restaurant is centered around purity and serenity both in its food and in its ambience and by doing that lives upto its name. You might not like all their serving but you sure can bet they are absolutely organic.

Really beautiful setting. Possibly some of the best banana cake Iā€™ve ever had. The rooibos tea was nice too.
Shabana Ghaznavi Sulemani
Loved the serenity of the place. Plus the cappucino & hot chocolate were just perfect. Just a request cos I love plants. Please try and maintain them. Dont let the leaves turn yellow. Your plants give you that lovely outdoor ambience..do take care. Thanks
Bhanu Nangru
Love the ambience of this place! Their outdoor seating is great; it's green and quiet.<br/><br/>I love the low volume of the music there, so it's there but not in your face. Let's you enjoy the music while you also enjoy conversations with your friends.<br/><br/>Tried the following:<br/>- Basil tomato soup<br/>- Sauteed vegetables<br/>- Mexican bowl<br/><br/>The portion sizes are good. The taste is good too. The soup was so close to homemade soup, the veggies were well sauteed, and the rice bowl was full of veggies and flavors.<br/><br/>Give this place a visit. I'm definitely going again!

This place was recommended by a colleague! A really lovely place if youā€™re looking at spending some quality time ! Itā€™s quiet, calm & serves really good food ! The menu is really elaborate... you ought to visit again to try out the alluring dishes!

+Ambience<br/>+Great service<br/>+Excellent quality of food<br/><br/>Zen Cafe stands out because of its calm atmosphere and good food. Really like the outdoor seating arrangement. The Belgian and Madagascar hot chocolate are absolutely amazing. One of my favourite places in Pune.
Surashree Bhattacharjee
Love the smartinis here !!! Will definitely visit again when I visit Pune again.
Nikita Arora
The ambience and fresh coffee had me hooked at my very first visit, but a few visits in, their banana bread, hot chocolate and juice left me impressed as well. However, the underrated hero beverage of their cafe is ,without a doubt, their Apple Rosemary Tea. Pretty sure that their food will also hold it's own.

I was here with a friend who is a passionate follower of zen cafe and having heard that I haven't yet witnessed te tranquility within it we had to visit this place.. you can park your vehicles outside, there is a bumpy road ..and I guess it's pay and park cause the guy there was quite upfront about the chargesšŸ˜‚.. This cafe is situated or should I say hidden behind some huge walls, and once you enter this haven you are truly mesmerized. Picture perfect setting, with few tables outside, a warm yellow light inside.. we chose to sit inside..<br/><br/>šŸ’„What did I order?<br/>ā˜„Classic cold brew<br/>ā˜„Iced mocha<br/><br/>The cold brew came with his huge ice ball within just like a snow globe, with the coffee making it's way around. It also came with a cookie which is this dainty little thing with chocolate to sandwich the 2 halves . The cookie was buttery and delicious, yes something which you just imagined it absolutely is all that and more.<br/><br/>The iced mocha was a thick chocolatey, frothy shake which I slurped within no time.. It was good ,quite awakening ..<br/><br/>So if you love those adorable cafes, are searching for doing your work and more..this is the place..

This is a slightly old review. I didnā€™t get time to write it before. But I had to write a review about this place as it was amazing! <br/>The food here is appetizing as well as aesthetically pleasing. <br/>I am always on a look out for good sushi places, and this happens to be one of them. <br/>It was slightly difficult to find this place as it is located bit off the road. However that makes it a quiet place and good for catching up with friends! <br/>I would recommend this place if you are also on a lookout for a good sushi place.

#ZenCafe<br/>#GuacNChips<br/><br/>I have always had a penchant for Mexican food because of the similarities it possesses with Indian cuisine.<br/><br/>In 2013, during my first solo trip to Chicago, I stumbled upon Chipotle, an TexMex food chain and a friend made me try guacamole. šŸ„‘<br/>I got introduced to a new love. ā¤ļø<br/>I ate buckets of guac everyday and visited every damn Chipotle in every city that I have travelled to, post this.<br/><br/>Nurturing the love for guac back in India, I stumbled upon extremely poor alternatives to guac. A popular Mexican outlet in 2014, served frozen guac out of a bottle and hell broke loose for me. I found a simpler solution - sourcing organically produced (yes, because, why not organic) avocados and making Guacamole at home. For 5 years, I am making guac at home, simply because no other place serves it well in the city.<br/><br/>Zencafe Pune in Koregaon Park has satiated my slobbers for guacamole. By far, the best place in Pune who know their avocados.<br/><br/>A carnivore that I am, will drop an offer of any non vegetarian food to head to this cafe. It is a pure vegetarian bliss, serving organic, fresh food, and has an artisanal coffee bar. Their live brew counter is a watering hole for the coffee fanatics in the city. The fresh, serene, airy interiors puts you to ease instantly.<br/><br/>I've tried their pastas, salad, et al; but nothing, absolutely nothing, beats the Guacamole with Chips served here.<br/><br/>Zen Cafe is a food place I am married to in my head.<br/>Zen Cafe is my benchmark for clean, neat, healthy food and excellent coffee.<br/><br/>This is a place worthy of trying in every sense.<br/><br/>In photos, a plate of Guacamole and Chips, an extra bowl of guac (hell, yeah) and the slightly saltish Caramel Latte Macchiato.<br/><br/>Billed at Rs 420 for the deal.

#cafereview<br/><br/>I visited Zen cafe in koregaon park. It's a small quaint cafe away from the hustle bustle of the city. The food was fantastic. The croissant was well done and had the perfect amount of chocolate inside. The cold coffee was really good too! It was strong coffee, the way I like it. The best part is that you're away from the traffic sounds completely. It takes you back to the 90's where you can enjoy a conversation with a friend!

Me and my friends dropped in this cafe just by looking the number of reviews, actually a good reviews received by it.<br/>Here sharing mine -<br/>Ambiance is simple, sober and not so flashy.<br/><br/>Service is good (got surprised by seeing service charge on receipt though we did not pay it).<br/><br/>Costs seems little bit more comparing with food quantity they are serving.<br/><br/>Brownie chocolate shake was just awesome.<br/>Zen platter was not that satisfying dish as it was recommended by many reviewers.<br/><br/>Yeah, but it is definitely one time visit place.

If you wanna have some evening munches with your gang ,you can hangout over here over coffee. We. Had ordered a cappuccino, Zen platter and a chocolate brownie shake. As m not a Mexican or Italian lover , Zen platter was kind of ok for me..the Brownie shake was good and cappuccino too was good<br/>

Tried zen cafe for the first time some time in the last week decided to visit because wanna try sushi as I am a great fan of Japanese cuisine and there are very few places in Pune where you get sushi and I think zen cafe is the only vegetarian cafe serving sushi but surprisingly didnā€™t try when landed in the cafe. First though of trying the zen platter and thought would get some variety of all to taste of the cafe so coming to the food i would not discuss what all items are there you can see it my only disappointment is most of the ingredients were repeatedly used and I felt it like it is repeatedly used without much variation in it. The most unliked part of this platter was the Mexican part and veggies of pitta burger where bad on taste <br/>Lastly would definitely visit one more time to try sushi but overall I can rate it to 3 of 5

Amazing place to be in case you want a soothing ambience with good food. Was here for lunch on a weekday the tables may be inadequate in case of weekends. We ordered mushroom soup, tacos, banana Avacardo smoothie. All of them perfect and tasty. However the staff was a little confused as to who does what and took them longer to serve.<br/>Food - 5/5<br/>Ambivence- 5/5<br/>Service - 2/5

This is a very cozy, cute and soothing cafe in KP. Impressed by the ambiance. Coming to food tried mexican bowl which was quite average and chocolate brownie shake which was good..The ambiance wins all the points.

The place is really pretty, just like a cafe you would find abroad it has a very chill vibe. The food is costly but it is good and delicious. <br/>

This is a perfect place for a date or for meeting a small group of friends! Although there are limited seats here, I loved the ambience, food and everything about Zen Cafe. We ordered Roasted Herbed Potato, Tomato Basil and Mozzarella Panini, Zen Platter (My favourite) and coffee. Quality and taste of food is excellent, making you come back for more.

Visited 14th Sept 2019:So was suppose to catch a cab from this area and ended up visiting Zen Cafe with my friend till I wait.Let me start with "How cool and cozy their ambiance is".Ā  Liked their whole decor. They have Outdoor sitting arrangements as well.Ā And guess what, Books are available on racks for readers - So if you are into reading - do come with your own book or read which are available here (some of them are all about Coffee - don't be surprised). We ordered Zen tea - which was good - Refreshing. Did some typical stuff for Instagram before having it.Ā Its a very nice and cozy place to chill with your friend (not saying "Friends" because indoor sitting arrangement can be an issue as tables are very limited).Overall Ratings 3

I was here today with a friend in evening. We couldn't get a table for about an hour and were sitting at the side table with chairs. They have very limited room so this issue may arise often. Ambience is lovely and cozy. Really impressed with it. Great vibe. Staff could be more friendly. We ordered green tea which was good. Overall a nice place to sit and relax and chat with friends. Do visit!
A Nomad Foodie
Calm and serene with limited seating.<br/>If you are going for a romantic date, you can definitely choose this. Limited menu but food is great !<br/>Loved their pastel interiors and crockery used.<br/>Staff is courteous but service could be little quicker. Overall we had a quiet (šŸ˜‰) good time

The search for a great cup of hot chocolate has finally ended. Starbucks was pretty good but these guys are killing it. 2 varieties, Belgian one I like Madagascar is just too much chocolate. My wife liked their coffee as well. We are yet to try the food but drinks are amazing!

Ambience: 5/5<br/>Food: 4.5/5<br/>Service: 4.5/5<br/><br/>Zen Cafe!<br/><br/>So here is a thing, when I shifted to Pune from Ahmedabad I kept wondering to get a good cafe. No doubt Pune got lot of good options but I wanted the best one. And yes I got one. I keep visiting it over the weekends but recently when I visited I tried lot of new dishes there. Zen Platter (much recommended), Cappuccino (my love), Pita and Hummus (a perfect taste to your tongue), Humus, Tomato and Kalamata Olives Panini (much love) and Pizza Del Giardino.<br/><br/>A must try place and perfect place for weekend/evening vibes.<br/><br/>Thanks!<br/><br/>Now you can purchase Zomato Gold Membership using my referral code: KHUS91709 and get yourself 20% Off.

This is a small and cozy place beside Starbucks in KP which is good for a casual hangout with your friends. They have an inside and outdoor seating arrangement available. We dropped in there on friday evening for a random get-together and ordered Guacamole with chips, soba noodle salad with micro greens and tofu, pizza margarita, alfredo pasta, chocolate brownie shake, banoffee shake and apple-carrot juice. I was disappointed with the food taste as I had heard a lot about this place. The only things I liked were guacamole with chips and the brownie topped on the shake. Bit of modifications and add-ons to the recipes would probably earn another star.

This is a cute cafe in Kp area in Pune. Awesome ambiance, minimalistic furniture, amidst loads of greenery.<br/>Was here for lunch with friends,<br/>had a gr8 time....<br/>Our order:<br/>Coffee Smartini- Bittersweet in taste but nevertheless enjoyed the drink.<br/>Avocado Toast- Quite Good<br/>California Sushi- Superb<br/>Mexican Bowl- Very filling and good<br/>Chocolate Hazelnut Ganache- Fab<br/>The service was good. Now what's so great about this cafe is that this cafe is situated at the starting point of Koregoan park.<br/>So if someone wants to enjoy me time or that fresh morning alone time one can definitely spend his time having great hot coffee with a book or some project work or office work.<br/>Again situated near Starbucks now Starbucks is Starbucks but if its crowded this place is for you guys.<br/>Their pastas are amazing and nachos are fabulous.<br/>One must definitely try this place for amazing cuisines
Dr. Deepika Kadam
Very cute little place, just in near by lane of Starbucks.<br/>We just had coffee there. But it didn't impress us. Have had better coffee for sure.<br/>But an amazing place to sit and work and talk.<br/>Would visit them again for food and desserts.<br/>

Valet āœ…<br/>Good seating, calm interiors, huge windows with the view of the tall green trees outside, feels like Zen indeed. The staff is prompt. The food and presentation is appreciable. Great many food and drink options to chose from. Iā€™ve also ordered multiple times from this place via zomato and the food is always healthy, fresh and yummy. <br/>However, I think I expected a more tangy taste from their soba noodles salad, but maybe that is how it is done from their end. Everything else Iā€™ve ever ordered from this place has never disappointed. Great job guys!

Nice and peaceful ambience. Green atmosphere, service was a bit slow but that can be covered by great food and amazing coffee. Must visit place if you are looking for some peace.

A very cozy and a quiet place! The staff is amazingly friendly and courteous. We had a cappuccino and chocolate ice shake. There are various types of seatings. And it is specifically great during late evenings. Worth going again!<br/><br/>Cappuccino - 4.5/5.<br/>Chocolate ice shake - 4.5/5 Ambience and staff - 5/5

Love the vibe of this place. The food is excellent! I love the idea of the two platters they serve, theyā€™re well thought of and are delicious

I had heard about this quaint little cafe near Starbucks and decided to check it out with a friend. Although Iā€™m not a fan of vegetarian food, I was particularly surprised. The pita bread and hummus was smooth and fresh. The California sushi roll however, didnā€™t have the appropriate wasabi. It didnā€™t blend with the soya as itā€™s supposed to. Other than that, the pizzas on the pizza platter werenā€™t all that different as to what a platter should constitute. The tiramisu was really bomb. It was light and fluffy and tastefully dusted with cocoa. Thereā€™s definite room for improvement and I hope to see it if I visit again.
Shreya Choudhury
It's the perfect place for you if you enjoy small, quiet and peaceful cafe vibe. Lovely ambience, delicious food. Perfect for brunch/evening snacks.

Just as the name suggest, Zen Cafe provides instant calm as you enter the cafe. The menu is adequate with so many healthy options.<br/><br/>A must have is the Roasted Pumpkin Ravioli in Thyme butter sauce. It is one of the best I've had in the city!<br/><br/>ABC Sushi (Asparagus, Bell Pepper, Cream Cheese) was decent. Mushroom Sushi was tasty.<br/>We also tried the Mediterranean platter. It's delicious and enough for 3 people!<br/><br/>As for drinks, Watermelon Basil is so fresh and tasty! Espresso Smartini is something unique and must-have for coffee lovers.
Natasha K Bhadha
A nice quiet place to unwind for a cup of coffee or croissant . <br/>The chocolate croissant was fresh and good . <br/>Ordered the hummus with pita which was quite average and the Mexican bowl .<br/>The food was not fresh especially the Mexican bowl . On telling the staff so , they did not understand what it meant and couldn't help out much . No choice but to pay the bill and leave .
Animish Sachdev
Ordered for a Mexican bowl - neither did it feel fresh nor did it taste good. <br/>Hummus and Pita was ordinary like any other restaurant. <br/>However the chocolate croissant was very good <br/>
Mridul Deepanshu
Just visited this place to casually for a cup of coffee, and guess what?, It's my favourite place for coffee now! The coffee is way better than many of the brands out there! The price is also soo good, its worth every penny! The service and ambience is also good and adds up to the experience!

What a beautiful cafe this is. Well made, calm, minimal.. stays true to its name.<br/>Visited twice.<br/>everyone reading this post must have the carrot cake at Zen! It's the bomb.<br/>

Such a beauty this place. You can feel the 'zen' here. So simple and so beautiful. It just draws you to be present. I love the outdoor seating here even on a hot day because it's so green and you can hear the birds and insects.<br/>This place is gold ! <br/>I had a beetroot and orange juice. Here you don't even need to tell them to not add sugar. It's the default way.<br/>Also the ABC Sushi is a must!ā˜ŗļø

True to its name the ambience is indeed soothing and leaves you mesmerized with its serene ambience and pleasant food.<br/><br/>We tried the zen platter which consisted of tapas sized medley of quesadilla, pita, hummus and dips. This was super delicious and filling. We also tried the apple, carrot and orange juice and ice tea which were both very good.<br/><br/>For dessert we tried the tiramisu which was average.it was slightly dry. We took home the multi grain bread which we enjoyed.<br/><br/>The service was slow.<br/><br/>
Divyesh Tamboli
I like the place prsonally , staff is so well mannered ! The one thing we don't like is they have differently priced menu on zomato and they have different one at the cafe which is little differently priced again! Otherwise everything was perfect!
Madhura
This place is located near Starbucks, KP and has an amazingly soothing ambience.<br/>The staff was pretty sweet too. I just think the quantity of food is not worth the price.<br/>In the picture : Banoffee shake and Jalapeno cheese toast.<br/>Both tasted great.<br/>The place is best for meetings or conferences and is similar to Starbucks.
Shreya Wadhwani
A really great place. Truly a zen experience. The ambience is just perfect. The banoffee milkshake was sooo good. A must try. I wish they opened earlier though and had a nice breakfast menu, since this would be just the perfect place to start your day.
Shreya Talavlikar
Zen Cafe has a very pleasant ambience, is located in a not-so-noisy location and has great service as well as food. It is a little overpriced in my opinion given the quantity, but the other factors compensate for it.
Anupama
The service is prompt and polite. The atmosphere is both work and dine friendly. I ordered two dishes - the soba noodles with vegetables, which was very well done. However, the belgian chocolate milkshake was made extremely sweet. All in all, worth a visit.
Harshit J
Would rather give 4.5. Modern ambience in a quaint corner in KP. The soba noodles and tomato mascarpone risotto were delicious and full of flavour. The tofu in the noodles is the best I've ever had. Avocado and cucumber sushi was also very good. Rooibos tea espresso is a must try. The chocolate hazelnut ganache is also a must try. No wonder this place is amongst the best in Pune. Only 2 drawbacks : slow service and it was almost 1000 bucks per person without taxes.
Aishwarya Ghosare
Awesome place..good location..amazing ambience..good coffee.. The menu is limited but over all a very zen experience..i would love to meditate out here..its a silent place for nature lovers..must visitā¤

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. I am totally in love with this place.<br/><br/>Ambience - 5/5<br/>Service - 5/5 (the team is very well informed and help you to pick the right dishes)<br/>Food - 5/5 (i want to give it 10/5...it was that wow)<br/><br/>Our order:<br/>California Sushi: Well made. But it was the freshness and crunchiness of the carrots, cucumbers, avacado, lettuce set this one on Level Wow!! The dash of cream cheese was a good touch. The wasabi was potent.<br/><br/>ABC Sushi: This is a great combination of asparagus, bell pepper and cream cheese. The fresh, fleshy asparagus was good to bite into. The bell pepper was a tad soft but didn't ruin the show.<br/><br/>Grilled Veggies Quesadilla: Though it has chipotle, it isn't spicy. The lightly sauteed veggies, the well made tortillas all come together to make this dish a winner. The sour cream served along was airy, light...have never had sour cream so good. Even the salsa was nice, the freshness of the tomatoes was pleasantly obvious.<br/><br/>Apple and Rosemary Infusion with Honey: Very refreshing<br/><br/>Carrot Cake: Out of this world. Melt-in-the-mouth delicious, fragrant with cinnamon, infused with raisins and walnuts. Must have!!<br/><br/>My sis and I had a lovely evening and we would love to visit again.<br/><br/>

Being a coffee lover I have alot of good reviews about this place and hence on a weekday after work I gave this a place to try . I went for their Cappuccino . Oh boy , it was beyond amazing. I loved the flavor and the way they made it . It also looked extremely appealing . Apart from that I also tried the orange carrot ginger juice . It was good and the best part was it was made in front of us .<br/>Overall this place is an amazing one to go on a date or just go chill over a coffee. You could always go and work there since the ambience is really nice .

We ordered - California sushi, and guacamole and chips.<br/>Although I was initially skeptical about ordering sushi delivery, but the food came packed very neatly and in a short time.<br/>The sushi and guacamole was just amazing, very delicious. I specifically loved the guacamole, yummy!<br/><br/>Having read a lot about the ambiance of the restaurant and the tempting menu, will surely visit soon to experience it in-house.

Love the ambience of this place ! It's so calm and soothing !<br/>Perfect for a date with bae as well or for a lunch date with your girls !<br/><br/>Been there on a sunday evening and the staff was very courteous to suggest us their mexican bowl as per our requirements<br/>I had ordered the Mexican bowl only for the guacamole on it ! However to my sheer disappointment , the staff came back saying that they didn't have gaucamole<br/>Disheartening!<br/>Though the bowl was presented extremely well n the nachos surrounding it were crisp !šŸ‘ŒšŸ»<br/>The taste didn't appeal much to me but the dips i.e salsa dip and cream cheese made the taste better<br/><br/>Loved the ambience , full points for that but found the Mexican bowl to be a bit over pricely for the quantity and taste !<br/>But all in all it was a good experience!:)

Zen Cafe - New Favorite in Town ā£ļøā£ļøā£ļøā£ļø<br/>I have no count how many times I have been to this cafe and not even once they have disappointed me.<br/>The ambience is so good that I have made this place as my second office. Calm and composed with light music in the background, you can go there to peacefully read a book or just talk with your partner for hours over some amazing coffee.<br/><br/>I am a die hard coffee lover and Zen cafe is doing an amazing job at serving world class coffee. Call it any say espresso, cappuccino, machiato . I have tried all of them and they taste amazing.<br/><br/>In food I have tried jalapeno cheese Toast, avocado and chips, falafel salad , hummus and pita. Everything tastes so good and organic. This is my go to place every week.<br/>Love it, do pay a visit .

This pristine and spacious vegan cafe, opened recently, is just the most calming place I've been to.<br/><br/>The overall ambience is very true to the name; serene and calming.<br/><br/>If you go there often enough, sip tea and take the greenery in from it's floor to ceiling windows, you just might achieve Zen. šŸ˜Œ<br/>------<br/>Baked and cheese quesadilla<br/>Cafe froid<br/>

It is such a lovely place. You cant miss going to this one if you are in Koregaon park. Had plans of going to Starbucks but we decided to ditch them for Zen and did not regret anything about our decision. <br/><br/>Full marks for ambience and preparation. Highly recommend this place.

A place that you will fall in love with as soon as you enter. Very beautiful ambience. Love spending time there, specially outdoors in the patio. Love those tall French windows I loved the crockeries so much too.<br/>Fresh mint with ginger lemon and Guacamole with chips are my favorite.

What an amazing cafe this is. Located in Koregaon park, nice outside seating area with good crowd. We ate herbed potatoes, coffee mocha and enchilada which were very tasty. Yes - also the pizza during my 2nd visit.

I fell in love with this place as soon as I entered it!<br/>The ambience is lovely and peaceful!<br/><br/>I tried the following dishes -<br/>1. Belgian Chocolate Shake - This was chocolaty and was not too sweet! It was a great start to my meal!<br/>2. Potato Rosti - I loved this dish! Potato Rosti cooked to perfection with a side of sauteed veggies!<br/>3. Ricotta ravioli with sun-dried tomatoes - This was delicious! The ravioli was cooked perfectly and the thyme butter sauce was yum!<br/>4. Chocolate and hazelnut ganache - This was the perfect end to my meal. This dessert just melted in my mouth. It had dark chocolate and a biscuit crust!<br/><br/>If you are looking for a place to relax and have comfort food this is the place to be! They have vegan food on their menu as well!<br/><br/>Follow me on Instagram for regular food updates - @sadhnaadvani1604 ^_^

Each item of the Zen Platter and the Mexican Bowl was delicious, so great cooking. But what should have been hot had also gotten cold and that was disappointing. I think the delivery took too long, didnā€™t time it but it was much more than the time stated.

Ordered in for a mushroom soup from them a while back. Let me just list out the pros and cons-<br/><br/>Pros-<br/><br/>The soup was brilliant<br/>Packaging was awesome neat and eco friendly<br/>Delivery was super quick<br/><br/>Cons-<br/><br/>The quantity of soup was a bit of a joke(too little)<br/>There happened to be a stapler pin in the soup which could have been dangerous <br/>No condiments :(<br/><br/>Overall the soup was brilliant and so was the delivery, I think they shouldā€™ve paid a lil more attention while packaging to avoid the above mentioned issues. Wouldā€™ve rated it a 5 but rating it a 4 due to the above mentioned shortcomings

My favorite cafe. This place is so pretty and cozy. Their Madagascar hot chocolate is undoubtedly the BEST in the city. Iā€™m a big fan of their guacamole and chips as well, the chips are always fresh and crisp. I ordered their burrito bowl @ home and all condiments came in different boxes, and it was SO filling, nutritious and delicious. A perfect date night or solo lounging place with home vibes.

I happened to go for a workshop to a nearby place, just came across the board and decided to try it. The place is just like the name suggests -simple, minimalistic and quiet. Its wooden infrastructure, tables and beautiful long glass windows by the bamboo trees and greens all around truly give you a zen feeling. The staff is very warm and friendly.Ā <br/><br/>The menu is also kept to the minimum and yet enough. I ordered #CarbonatedCoffee and #GreenBurrito to satisfy my hunger after a 4 hour workshop. The food was soulful. Carbonated coffee was a new concept which I enjoyed. The burrito had rice and sauteed salad filling within served with cream and salsa which made it like a wholesome meal! It was delicious and satiating! :)<br/><br/>Food: 3.5/5<br/>Service: 4.5/5<br/>Ambience: 4/5Ā <br/><br/>So if you are tired of the usual Starbucks on the North Main road, just turn to your right and walk to find this quiet, little place which can easily go unnoticed and yet has some loyal set of customers visiting them :)Ā  I will definitely be coming back to this place for more...:)<br/><br/>

Being a sushi lover i wanted to try this place out specially for their sushi but ended up having so many other delicacies.<br/>I had the following:<br/>(1) California Roll Sushi : The ingredients were fresh and the veggies had a perfect crunch to them . Presentation was spot on as you could make out what all ingredients are there on your sushi . However it has a tangy taste which dint please my taste buds but overall the sushi was a good choice.<br/>(2)Iced Nutella Latte : The best combination of espresso and Nutella i ever had ! Nice thick and cold with the perfect taste of espresso shot and nutella . This drink is my favourite in the city ! <br/>(3) Guacamole with chips : The Guacamole was nice n fresh , chips were crunchy. Not too much a seasoning so u can give it a skip . But if u have never tasted an Avacoda u can give this dish a try as the dip is made with freshly whole cut avacados .<br/>(4) Spiced onion rings : One of the best Onion rings ive had ! It comes with. Spicy mayonnaise dip . The rings are super cruncy and tasty . Makes you crave for more ! Together with the dip it tastes heavenly. Must try when you visit.<br/>(5) Garlic bread with cheese : Another spot on dish served at Zen cafe , the garlic bread was toasted perfectly with a generous amouth of cheese ! All cheese lovers , this is you must order dish ! The spicies were just yumm giving it the real garlicky taste .<br/>Suggestion : Kindly use chopsticks with good grip as i have been eating with them since long . The ones served with sushi arent good for a grip šŸ™ƒ<br/>Happy eating šŸ˜Š

Itā€™s an amazing place, with amazing staff. <br/>The coffee is pretty good, and they do have healthy selection as well. <br/>Only an expansion of the menu, a little more variety would be great.! <br/><br/>

If you are looking for a peaceful little hide out to spend some quality time with a friend, partner or with just yourself, this minimalist Cafe is your go to place. A simple cafe with some delicious food and a variety of teas is a fresh breath of air among the many new and upcoming cafes around KP. The smoked tofu and mushroom panini is a must try!

Guacamole I had here was too good. Mixed green salad was one of the worst though. Ambience is good for family and friends. Perfect place to sit and chat as no loud music will interrupt your talks.

There is so much to explore in Pune. Cafe Zen come to me as surprise as I was just not aware of this cool, Quiet nice place to sit back and have all the pending chit chat with a friend with nice munches. All the items on the menu are well thought of today's generation.Ā <br/>Seems a nice place for any time of the day!<br/><br/>You can order from tea/coffee to healthy smoothies.Ā <br/>The ambience is so nice and quiet that we just didnt understand how we spent almost 3 hrs thr!

The food is great, the flavors are amazing. However, some of the portions are quite small, especially for the price. Make sure to ask about portion size while ordering.
Marylicious
So went there for a dinner date on a Thursday evening. Ordered a zen tea which was really refreshing, light and was more than enough for one. For dinner we ordered their all famous guacamole and soba noodles with teriyaki tofu. Both the dishes were amazing to taste and presented very well.

Yet another place i find who serves food considering health in mind. On main roads of kp its a really quite place .<br/>Tried<br/>Fresh mint ginger lemon tea : non milk based tea served with mint leaves and honey makes you feel refreshing . The honey really adds taste to it.<br/><br/>Teriyaki tofu with soba noodles : wheat noodles served with veggies smoked with teriyaki sauce and tofu along. The teriyaki smoked effect has realy nice taste. Wheat noodles add to health along with tofu wedges<br/><br/>Chocolate croissant

A great cafe hidden in bylanes of koregaon park. A wide menu set with friendly staff, Zen cafe truly encapsulates a Zen experience. It was well laid out exteriors with tables elegantly lit at night. To give a touch of exclusiveness, all tables outside are graced by candle light. A must place to visit.

A beautiful, green and serene setting, outstandingĀ avocado sushi, and great service... Zen Cafe lives up to its name! Been there several times now and find that the lovely setting and delicious coffee make one want to stay longer than planned.

I am a huge coffeee lover hence i keep digging for new new cafes and I love exploring them and I happened to land up at Zen cafe one afternoon. This place is beautiful and calm. Lovely ambience and calm interiors. It smooths your mind. I was with a couple of friends so we tried their brownie, tiramisu, cold shakes, coffee. All of them were upto the mark. A lovely place to spend quality time with friends or family. Must visit for sure
Varun Moka
Caramel macchiato is my favorite. It's much better than the nearby Starbucks, maybe because it's less pricey than that and less crowded too which makes it even better. Amazing ambience to chill and hangout with friends. Great place for outdoor seating too. And perfect for lone visitors like me.

Zen CafƩ is a secluded treasure in Koregaon Park. Located in Galaxy Garden, this new cafe is hidden away at the end of a rocky path. Spacious with tall French windows, ample seating, a mini library and possibly the finest washroom to be seen in any coffee place in Pune. There is also an open air patio with tables, chairs and foliage.<br/><br/>Once I found it and made my first visit, I was hooked. It's such a lovely place with jazz music and tasty food plated beautifully. I have had sushi here twice, a stack of onion rings that stayed crisp till the last bite and guacamole with chips. Both the iced coffee drinks and hot cappuccino hit the right notes. One hazelnut cookie sandwiched with chocolate accompanies a hot coffee drink. Tiny and addictive, five cost seventy rupees. Expensive? No doubt but worth every paisa.<br/><br/>Breads and croissants are sold here. The croissants are shaped properly but taste more like bread than an authentic French version. A slice of apple cake I recently ate had an odd after taste. Both need fine tuning.<br/><br/>Jazz is played often and the atmosphere is relaxed. No one talks too loudly. The staff are kind and remember regulars. Tables are cleaned properly. In the small library, some books and magazines (Architectural Digest) can be read at the table and other materials are for sale.<br/><br/>As for the washroom (restroom), it is clean, well stocked and has paper towels to wipe one's hands. Underneath the wash basin is a scented diffuser. Now if only other cafes followed suit.<br/><br/>Coming to Zen CafƩ is a distinct pleasure and a place where one can sit for hours. No one is hurried out. Now when I think of where to spend an afternoon, this is the first place that comes to mind.<br/><br/>Highly recommended!<br/>

I love to sit in a cafe, to linger over a coffee. Perhaps to read, perhaps not. I donā€™t want to tune out the noise around me, to focus on the coffee. I want that cup to be entwined in what I see, and hear, and feel. Zen cafe makes you feel something, let you be comfortable and a part of their otherworldliness for a moment. love at first sight.

Great location and ambience. Unfortunately itā€™s all downhill from there. As a cafe, the most basic thing to get right is a coffee. It was sadly not the case here. An iced mocha was an over sweet version of chocolate milk, sent it back for a replacement and asked for a regular strong iced coffee. The replacement iced coffee was not coffee at all, as it had none! Tasted like sweet milk. Didnā€™t dare to order anything after that! <br/>Pros: great location, good ambiance, friendly staff <br/>Cons: Drinks and food! <br/>Feedback: clearly mention what you serve. Iced coffee and a frappe are not the same thing. Not everyone likes a blended frappe in the name of iced coffee.

This cafe has a diff vibe of its own yet being in a little corner in the lanes of KP. They offer some diet food options for the health conscious. The cafe has an open air seating and an inside seating. Been there on a Sunday evening to binge on some coffee and hot chocolate, the outside area catched my eyes to grab a seat. One of the cosiest places to witness amidst the winters of Pune!

Pune and it's petite cafes. One of the many things I love about this city. Their Bombay branch has shut down and so I had decided to drop by for an evening chai. And the Pune winters did full justice to the experience. Pot of Apple and Rosemary tree, the winter chill for company and the pristine calm ambience of the place. Nestled into the bylanes of Koregaon Park, this all vegetarian cafe can be most recommended for a chai/coffee date going to an early dinner. Hope to come visit again soon!! #3CheersOrMore
