Review Oasis - Pune

Good taste of starters. The ambiance is very beautiful. The road to the restaurant is steep and bad pavement. Overall very good.

Oasis is the midst of hills and well connected to highway. Place has an amazing view all around. It is a grand place with multiple seating options. We had Paneer Thecha Pakode – well marinated paneer deep fried with coating of besan. This was a nice combination on flavors. Paneer tikka was nice and served with green chutney. Masala papad was nice, crunchy and a must have. Drinks were good and potent. For mains we had dal Bukhara, paneer lababdar and lachcha paratha. Dal Bukhara was well cooked and had balanced flavors. Paneer Lebabdar served in rich red gravy was delicious. Lachcha paratha had layers coming and was oozing with butter paired really well with paneer and dal. Place is super cool with ample parking space and lovely view.

Food is yum and expensive,Calm n mood soothing at night, there is a person standing with telescope outside the resto in parking for U can see crores km away beautiful planets with gases ring outside it, very near to u + Jupiter planet just like moon + the brightest dynastic star Looking all this in books n looking them in real is dam different lifetime experience costing 300 rs per person

The experience here was awesome. Food quality is good. There are both the options veg and non veg though we tried veg only for which taste was really nice. Drinks section is separated from the family section. You can surely visit it with kids. As restaurant has a few attractions which can entertain your kid, and help enjoy.

I visited this banquet for a wedding. I must say the venue is awesome! Nicely decorated. Could gate hot during summer day weddings. But for December weddings, absolutely killer. Food was average, may be dependent on caterer. Ample parking space

Nice place to spend time with your family and friends. Located on top of hill, you can enter from 2 ways. 1st from Warje side and other from NDA road. Ample of car parking is available. This restaurant has a pleasant vibe. Ambience is great, looks great at night time. Seating arrangement is simple but spacious. Staff is attentive and polite. Service is quick. Food quality is great, bit expensive. Definitely recommended...

Access from डुक्कर खिंड is very easy rather going from Chandani Chowk.. Ample parking space Low light entrance feels nostalgic little music would help.. Sitting arrangement is better and have divided in 3 section You may enjoy with friends or family with drinks and special starters Food is delicious and taste is good.. Been here several times Service is quick too.. Birthday party and get together could be arranged here.. Rates are on higher side but ambience is good.. Candle light dinner is best thing to do.. Recommended.

Located on a tiny hill on the Highway, this restaurant has a very pleasant vibe. A very nice place to spend time with your family or peers. I did visit this place with a few friends and enjoyed the food and vibe here. Here’s what I liked : Chicken Makhrana Kebab : Tender chicken leg pieces, literally dipped in butter and extremely juicy and flavourful. Cottage Cheese Thai Basil : Fresh basil flavour on paneer is very refreshing and makes for a great appetizer. Kharda Chicken Lollipop : This is a must try. A very different flavour than the regular chinese style and extremely delectable chicken lollipops. My favourites here. For the main course I had Kalimiri Chicken Masala with garlic naan. Peppery flavour gravy adds a nice tinge of well balanced spicy taste to this dish. Perfect with any kind of roti and rice as well. Service too is quick here and the team is attentive. Check out this place with your family as it is spacious, open air and kids would have a good time too.

The legendary place in Pune and winning Punekars’ hearts for the last 20+ years!! This huge restaurant spread across acres has multiple beautiful seating options like Indoor AC, Outdoor, Poolside and Garden. We visited there to try out Sea Food festival which is happening from 23th Jan to 29th Jan. The seafood festival menu consists of around 60+ food items. A great food experience indeed. The location is really beautiful as well. Perfect place for the family crowd and the youngsters as well. They have Bar section too, serving cocktails and mocktails.

Have been going to this joint since my school days.. A decent place to go.. Usually full of group of stags (single men).. But they have a family area inside..<br/><br/>This time we tried the<br/>*surmai fry - decency spiced and flavored<br/>*masala papad - fresh but lacked flavored... A little more chat masala and a squeeze of lemon would do it. I still woluped it.. 😛<br/>*neer dosa - super yum<br/>*chicken gassi - decent<br/>And a roti /naan to finish the gravy<br/><br/>There a nice senior gentleman who was taking our order.. Very helpful. I forgot to ask him his name though. Suggested we try the malia kulfi which was decent as well..<br/><br/>Totally recommend the place if ur in the mood for some mangaloren food and are in camp.

A nice old school restaurant with good pub like food. Had visited after many years and it has remained just the same. Great to be there and will be back again.

The biryani over here is just awesome. I have never got such a tasty dum biryani like this before. I frequently visit this place. It's always with people around.

Fish was Cooked Well ! I told them to make it Spicy but they did not Do that so a bit disappointed... Bathroom Service is Really Horrible .. Its a type of Bar .. So people who are not comfortable with Drinks n smoke stay out ! Harabhara Kebab was also ok not upto that level... over all 3 out of 5 is the rating .. can improve if they read this ...

I had chicken Tandoori and Veg biryani with my office friends. Both dishes were really awesome. Service is very fast and ambiance is also good. You can also come with family.

Restaurant is good. Service pathetic. Whenever I go there there's one old man who takes the order. Every now & than he gives some excuse or the other to make sure I don't get a seat to sit outside. Once he didn't allowed me to sit giving a silly reason that he won't be able to serve the other customer if I sit on table I wanted to be seated. I waited there for 15 mins & the same table he gave to other persons. Recommendation to the Restaurant- Please ask your staff to be decent & show some courtesy.

Again this is one of the oldest first joints in camp area. Remember seeing and noticing this place from the 90's. However never heard the opportunity of walking in till a few days ago. <br/><br/>We just ordered a couple of snacks as we were waiting for a delayed meeting.The prawns buyer garlic was a killer and we ended up ordering more of it. <br/><br/>The next killer was the surmai fry...<br/><br/>Service is really slow and leaves much to desire. <br/><br/>Overall a good place for fish grub...

I did not dine out over here but I had the pleasure of having Butter Chicken couple of times which Oasis served in a parcel to us. It is simply awesome. You will not get the similar taste which you will get here. Please do try...

It’s been 14 years since I last came here….I’m getting old!<br/><br/>My roommate and I used to bus, tumtum and auto rickshaw our way here from Bibwewadi once every few weeks just to enjoy their butter chicken. It was always worth the 1.5hour journey.<br/><br/>So many years later their Butter Chicken is still just as good as it always was. Maybe it’s just nostalgia coz we didn’t really enjoy anything else we ordered.<br/><br/>The drinks we ordered were only so-so. I had the Oasis Special which had a very bitter taste and my wife’s Pinacolada was just average.<br/><br/>For starters we had the Surmai. Three large slices coated in a light masala and rawa fried. We quite enjoyed this.<br/><br/>Sadly, being as advertised Mangalorean restaurant I was quite surprised to hear that they did not have Neer Dosa…on a Sunday evening! Apparently it wasn’t available the previous day either. Bad inventory management guys.<br/><br/>We ordered a plain rice and rotis instead but sorely missed the Neer Dosa when the Prawns Gassi came.<br/><br/>We had a corner seat in the inner room opposite the bar and the ventilation was really bad. By the time the main course was served I had started sweating and the family next to us moved to another table in the outer room. I asked the waiter to check on the A/C settings – he stood in front of it, stretched out his arm to feel the breeze and said “Chal raha hai”. Thankfully our meal ended quickly left the heat of the restaurant in a hurry.<br/><br/>Overall an average meal. If it wasn’t for old memories I don’t think I would have enjoyed it very much.

Oasis!!!!! This place was synonymous with Butter Chicken during my college days. i do not think I have tasted any finer Butter Chicken anywhere else in my life, tho I have spent years in North India as well. Amazingly delicious it used to be!!!!!!! Cannot think of anything better (or butter). But that was then.<br/>After all these years, I had an occasion to go with my family but was quite dismayed to find that it was a 'not so great' substitute that was placed on our table.<br/>Oh! For those years gone by!<br/>But that was several years ago & I do hope Oasis has regained its past glory. Yes, that 'tandoori treatment' of the chicken before it is placed in the gravy, the caramelised golden outer surface, the egg that was added, the finest tomato makhani gravy with that sweetish tinge all added to make it a most delicious dish accompanied with naan.<br/>Oasis! We love you still. Please live on & appease a million more tummies & taste buds with your characteristic signature dish. Certainly, a must try!

I have been going to Oasis since childhood. Best place to go to if you wish to have a quite family dinner. Food is good and very reasonably priced. The staff is very polite.

Having read good reviews about this place, my wife and I, both Sr. Citizens went there for lunch on 29 February 2016.<br/>In one word - totally disappointed.<br/>We were there from 1.00pm till about 2.00pm. The place was almost empty. No music/TV.<br/>Food was overpriced, quantity very poor; taste OK of the Mangalore dish, Prawns Gassi with Neer Dosa(very tiny/thin dosas plain).<br/>Then we ordered Chicken Tikka Biryani. It was served WITHOUT koshambir dahi, which is an add-on. We were told that Raita needs to be ordered and paid for separately.<br/>I have eaten at many restaurants not only across Pune but other parts of India too. Raita has always, so far, been a part of the Biryani dish.<br/>The Biryani was very spicy. In spite of having informed the waiter that we are not able to eat spicy food.<br/>Were compelled to order something sweet as our mouths were burning. So ordered Casata ice cream. Just a thin slice of vanilla 3 colours is what they serve as Casata. It did not have sponge cake slice, butterscotch, chocolate that normally is necessary to be called Casata Ice-cream.Very pricey too. I would not be wrong in calling them cheats.<br/>Whilst making payment with my credit card, the waiter kept on trying to peep over my shoulder when I was punching in my PIN. This is so bad.<br/>All in all we will NEVER go there again. I would like to rate this ZERO, but minimum is 1.<br/>I feel all good reviews given so far may be paid ones.<br/>

Visited a number of times ... The virgin pina colada and neer dosa along with fish curry is a must try . Chinese is not much to the mark . However sea food lovers must try!

What should I say about this place.... I've been visiting this place since the past 20+ years and the only thing in which they have changed, is the look of the restaurant. That's It...!! Rest everything is the same. <br/>One of the best places for a nice and good family dinner... ( that's, if you don't like spending too much and like a less crowded place & of course, Yummy Food ) <br/>Now the menu, guys, try anything from the menu... It's All Good :) but my favourite is the Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Spring Roll & Chicken Fried Rice. <br/>It's been ages now, but the taste of the Butter Chicken they serve, hasn't changed. It's a bit on the sweeter side, but I love the way their Chef makes it. He doesn't add the chicken directly or boiled chicken to the gravy. He adds Tandoori Chicken !! <br/>So I just love the perfect crisp tandoori chicken with a nice butter gravy along with crispy butter Nan :) ( too much of butter I know ) <br/>Don't worry about their service. It's just as good as their food tastes. You will see all the waiters smiling and serving you. <br/>A definite try if you in camp area and want some good & tasty food.

Amazing food. Must try their Chicken Patiala and for starters Chicken Bandana Tikka. They were finger licking delicious. We were a party of twelve people with 10 hardcore non vegetarians who were stuffed by Oasis heavenly food. Service was good too. Thank you Oasis staff. Keep up the good work. I would recommend this place to all non veg lovers.

Seafood here is good. Very calm place. I felt that the service is a bit slow. Drinks are also served. Ambience is good and the seating arrangement is spacious.

I don't know about other people, but I enjoy it here. We've been customers of this place for 5 to 6 years. No change in taste or hospitality. The lights are perfectly set for dining and so is the music. <br/>Highly recommended.

Have heard so much of the butter chicken and was most disappointed with the hotel. First of all the waiting was so long and it took so much time and at the end of i5, it turned out a ok experience for me but I wouldn't visit it again and I haven't since a couple of months since its next to my house and in walking distance. But others feel free to try it and give it a shot

It was a lazy Sunday, and I really wanted to have Butter Chicken, having heard some pretty cool things about the same here, I decided to visit this place. It is located off MG road in a locality I would say is not so civil. The ambience was sub par at best. The service was fast and our server was friendly and hospitable. Arriving on the food, the butter chicken was actually good, with the gravy being sweet (I really like sweet gravy) but the chicken didn't seem fresh as it was too chewy like rubber at the end. The quantity though was impressive. The half plate had enough to feed four. Having not tried everything here and only butter chicken, I can recommend this hotel, I really hope everything else is also good, but the ambience being not so inviting, Ill hardly go again here, though home delivery is something I can get behind. This Restraunt gets the iFoodie stamp of approval. Visit this place or rather not and home deliver. Bon Appetite!

The oasis is nice place. It is calm place with good Ambiance. You can go with family, friends. Non veg food quality is excellant. Drinks are also available with Cocktail in option. Rates are also not too much. so if you want to njoy your dinner in calm quit place in good ambiance with peg of cocktail, then its really a good place.

Nice place. Crowd can be wierd at times. Very good food. Awesome butter chicken. A must have. Good fish and fishy stuff (the food kinds :))
