Located in the area of Kumar Parisar in Kothrud, Metromix serves some of the really lip-smacking and delicious North Indian cuisine. It is basically a small place with seating capacity of 25-30 divided in indoor seating option with a pretty decent and basic ambience with walls which are decorated with Mario Miranda arts. Its run by a person who is very humble and knowledgeable about food being in the industry for almost 30 years. Visited with friends few days back and tried the following from their menu :- 1. Paneer Sofiyan- Soft and fresh cubes of cottage cheese marinated in yogurt, cream, spices and saunf. 2. Paneer Tikka- Soft and fresh cubes of cottage cheese marinated in Indian Spices with capsicum, tomato, onion and yogurt. 3. Murgh Banjara Kebab- Chicken pieces marinated in yogurt, cream, spices, ginger, garlic, green chillies and coriander leaves. 4. Chicken Mughlai Kebab- Mild in taste chicken pieces marinated in cream, cheese, herbs and saffron and cooked in clay oven. MAINS :- 5. Murgh Laziz Handi- Slow cooked succulent chicken pieces in Tomato and Cashewnut Sauce. 6. Rara Chicken- Combo of minced chicken and chicken pieces cooked in a thick rich brown gravy with spices. Both the mains were amazing in taste and went well with the accompanied Rotis / Naans. OVERALL :- 1. Basic And Good ambience within small seating arrangement 2. Friendly and well trained staff 3. Awesome food

This outlet will take you to an exciting journey of Indian food. The menu is exclusively hand picked by @sachinvjoshi Starting right from the delicious starters; Paneer tikka, Chicken tikka, Chicken Mughlai kebab and Chicken Banjara kebab and a long list of many more, everything meets the end of perfection. I would like to make special mention of Murgh Yakhani(soup), it's so enticing. Apart from this I would recommend Murgh Handi Lazziz (sach mei Lazziz💕 I loved it), Murgh kadhai and Palak paneer.

This nice restaurant for Casual dining. They have multiple cuisine to select from. The food quality and quantity is great, the variety available is just awesome. They serve India, few options of continental, few dishes from Italian and few other cuisine as well. The ambiance is good. The cost is slightly higher but it's worth to pay for.

Wonderful restaurant... The menu is well crafted... Food is delicious. The decor is unique and amazing. Great place for Thai food and sizzlers. You feel you are eating some handpicked food. On the occasion of Valentine's day they give us the special loved share pastery and chocolates. Service takes a bit longer but nonetheless worth waiting... It is must visit place for any foodie... Love you Metromix.

One of the few restaurants offering really good dining options in different cuisines... Although not a very upscale setting, its generally peaceful and quite ambience make it an interesting option for dining out with your family and friends! 😃 Also, not too much of a worry when it comes to parking your car here which is the best thing about thr place really!
Vedant Parnerkar
They have changed the cuisine to Indian due to interior problems but the Indian food they serve you is amazing. Specifically, all the chicken starters and main course. Also the soup they prepare has a unique taste. Definitely an underrated restaurant!

The decor is quaint, service slow. Menu selection is eclectic. I tried the Tiramisu which was in no way what it's supposed to be. But overall a good experience. 3.5 stars really.

We tried Lebanese cuisine and it was very tasty. Service is a bit slow. Some food items seems to be overpriced. Overall a nice place to try international cuisine.

Great little place for a quiet dinner. Offers a variety of Continental and Indian dishes. I have been here several times and it has slowly become one of my favorite restaurants in the locality. Highly recommend the Lasagna and Sizzlers. Basically, you cant go wrong with the Italian dishes here.

Staff was polite & food was ok- tasty. The fries in my sizzler had too much flour & still half of them were soggy & bitter. Rice & Veggies with Bbq sauce in sizzler were good. Quantity seems ok-good for 2. Soup was served very late, it was tasty though. The service was slow despite the staff was polite & attentive. Paneer tikka was very spicy for our pallets but we enjoyed it.
🌟🌟🌟3.5 for Food
🌟🌟🌟3.5 for service
🌟🌟🌟 3 for price & VFM
Main problem was the ambience as it was constantly smelling like how house smells like after pest control or mosquito coils. There was no natural ventilation nor the A.C. was on so it was suffocating. I had to step out of restaurant by requesting my food to parcel it cz of the discomfort.
🌟🌟 for ambience
Abhijit.rakshe999
Food was awful. Ordered Tom Kha supposed to be Thai soup but tasted like Chinese soup. Asked them to change but another one was also no where close to Tom Kha. Ordered Keema Pav spicy. To my surprised it was sweet with overpowering tomato taste. Asked them to change but still the tomato taste so strong that even after adding spices it still had that tomato tangy taste to it. I was also surprised to small bite size slices of loaf given instead of pav which was not even enough. Ordered garlic naan. It came overloaded and soaked in butter. So much so that i did not even feel like having it. Some how had half a naan left the remaining naan and keema. We just wanted to get out the place. We lost the appetite completely. Ohh I forgot to mention, looking at some food my wife even canceled her phad Thai noodles. Thank god they allowed us to cancel other wise I am sure it would have been another disaster I am sure. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless they change their chefs. Also want to mention that wash room was filthy and my lil daughter (4 years) wanted to use it but looking at a condition even my daughters reaction was yucky n said don’t want to use it. Will never visit again. Only positive thing was our order taker was very polite and helpful. Unfortunately don’t know his name.
Mandar Behere
Utterly disappointed. This had been one of our favorite places and recent experience just ruined it all. the place has turned very shabby. The staff is clueless. It has lost its shine and would avoid this place until it revamps thoroughly!!

Good interior. I ate here 2/3 times and the food was always excellent. My favourite dish- Palak Soup,
Paneer chatpata.
But the very slow service.
It Becomes displeasure if things move slowly.

When we went there continental dishes were unavailable because chef was on leave..
we ordered murgh kalimiri masala. It was literally a white pasta with chicken chunks nothing else.Very Sweet in taste so we told them to again add some spices in it.
ambience was nice.
staff was good.

I visited metromix with my friend. It's a small restaurant in Kothrud. As I have already visited to this place before I came to know that other vendor has took over the business of this place. We ordered masala papad, chicken rora and other stuff. Chicken was delicious and juicy. Ambience is also good, I really like that restaurant is surrounded by green trees. Overall all good experience 😊.
Ajit Kulkarni
Sachin please consider adding to the staff team. 01 person doing all chores is a bit tough and delays things.
The menu is awesome but at times t becomes annoying if things move slowly.
Madhur Zanwar
The ambience is not that good! The staff itself is not aware of the menu card . He must atleast pick and give u some special ones. But dishes we ordered had a good taste!
Sharad Tembhurne
I a bit small place, but there isn't much of a crowd here. It's like a hidden gem many people don't know about. The food is very delicious and staff is very friendly.
The service is a bit slow, but the ambience is good. There are small Street like lights which light up the place. The posters on the walls are funny and keeps one occupied till the food arrives.
Recommendations: Chicken Rara

Located on DP road in kothrud this restaurant offers Continental as well as Indian cuisines. We had ordered veg and sea food spring rolls, tandoori mushrooms and chicken moghulai kababs for starters and red, yellow as well as green Thai curry rice for the main course. Chicken moghulai kababs were very succulent and tasty. Tandoori mushrooms were also superb. However spring rolls were oily and not very crisp. Thai curry preparation was good. Portions are small.
Very friendly and Courteous owner / chef. It's advised that one should book a table in advance.

Loved them thoroughly. I had done reservation through eatigo got 50% off. Trust me it's best for it's value . Quantity is ample. Must try

Located at kothrud, this place serves indian food which is owned by Sachin Joshi Sir who was an executive chef at Taj group of hotel.

STARTERS :

Banjara kebab : Juicy, succulent pieces of chicken marinated perfectly in yogurt, cream, ginger, garlic and special spices which was later charred in tandoor. The mint chutney and lemon squeezed to it made it more yum.

Chicken malai kebab : These were melt in mouth as it was marinated with hung curd, pepper and other spices later charred in tandoor. The addition of pepper gave that perfect amount of pungency. #HIGHLYRECOMMENDED

Chiken tikka : One of the most basic and loved indian starter. Finely cut chicken pieces marinated with byadgi powder and assorted indian spices which was cookedin clay oven. Also its smoky aroma tempted me to have more. #HIGHLYRECOMMENDED

MAINS :

Paneer tikka masala : Cottage cheese finely cut into small cubicle pieces and is grilled in a marination of assorted spices and then cooked in a gravy of onion, tomato, and green peppers. This can be counted as an ideal dish for vegetarians!

Kumbh makai paneer : It was a combination of mushroom, sweet corn, and diced cottage cheese which was engraved in a mixture of bell peppers, green chillies and fusion spices. The sweet corn added sweetness to it whereas the bell peppers and green chillies helped to make it spicy enough. #HIGHLYRECOMMENDED

Chicken biryani : The main course never ends without this dish. The addicting aroma of basmati cooked in assorted spices along with finely cut pieces of chicken and topped with golden fried onion and coriander will take anyone's heart for sure. The preparation was enough to make me fall in love with it and no one could be so inhuman to not love a biryani!

DESSERTS :

Gajar ka halwa : What else could i ask more after such an amazing food ? It was a cherry on the cake! The amount if khoya used was so perfect that it made me crave for more! And how could i forget that every spoonfull had dry fruits ♥️

INTRODUCTION

Metromix a little place at Kumar Parisar in Kothrud Pune. This was a café kind of place which used to serve European Cuisine before and now they have shifted the Café to Prabhat road and started Indian restaurant Here. So, this place serves Indian Food. This place a Decade old place and run Sachin Joshi Sir who was Executive chef at Taj Group of Hotel.

AMBIENCE

As this place was a café the ambience is reminiscent to the café. Small lamps hanging down. The wall is full of graffiti and some hand written letter frames. The ambience is simple not to jazzy.

APPETIZERS

Banjara Kebab

This was one succulent kebab to start the lunch. The chicken was marinated with ginger garlic along with some coriander and green chilli paste in hung curd. Then charred in tandoor. The spice level and marination of the kebab was perfect.

Chicken Malai Tikka

Another Chicken appetizer dish having the perfect taste which it should have. The Malai tikka was marinated in Hung curd and some prominent taste of the black pepper. Black pepper gave that need spice to it. This was charred in tandoori. This tikka was mild as per the spice. This was also tender and melt in mouth tikka.

Chicken Tikka

One classic dish we all like. The chicken tikka was marinated with hung curd some red chilli powder and ginger garlic paste. The tikka was not at all added with food colour which many places do. It had the colour from the Kashmiri chilli. There was that spice to from the chilli which made it more flavourful to eat. This was also a succulent tikka.

MAINS

Paneer tikka masala

This was one well prepared veg mains dish. The paneer was marinated with spices charred in tandoor and then were added into the gravy. The thing I notice about the gravy was it was not thickened at all had the consistency which it gets naturally. The gravy was red graving having bold flavour of red chilli and some ginger garlic. This was onion tomato based gravy. It was having a good amount of spice to it.

Kumbh Makai Paneer

This gravy was sometime out of the box one. It was having some paneer along with mushroom and sweet corn. This gravy was having onion base to it along with some green chilli. The combination of paneer mushroom and corn was just amazing. The corn elevated the flavours more with its subtle sweetness. This was a good fusion of flavours

Chicken Maratha

Maratha gravy is basically a thin and spicy gravy. The chicken of this gravy was cooked properly. The gravy was onion based with lots of spices going into it. And it was given a tadka of Red chilli. It had a prominent flavour of the garam masala and red chilli powder. The masala used in this was definely freshly made as you got feel the difference in the taste of the gravy

Chicken Biryani

One of the good biryanis, this was made as we make it at home. It was having lots of onion to it and having the taste of garam masala. The chicken was perfectly coated with masala. Then layered with rice and cooked. This was topped with boiled egg and fried onions. The biryani had the perfect moistness to it. I felt if it they would make it more spicy then it would taste more good.

DESSERTS

Gulab Jam

Gulab Jam is one of the loved Indian sweet. The main thing in a gulab jam most be that it should be fried nice and crisp but at the same time as its dipped in sugar syrup it should absorb the syrup and should become nice moist. And they did this perfectly. On top of this they served it piping hot. The sweetness was just spot on and I was happy kid after having it.

Gajar ka Halwa

Nice shredded carrots mixed with some khava and cooked in desi ghee with ample amount of sugar. One spoon of pipping hot halwa in mouth your lost in the world of the halwa. This was a proper home made halwa. Prefect balance between sugar and khava. And a point to be told is that they were not miser in putting lots of pistachios on the top.

VERDICT

As this place has just started with Indian food it is doing well were. As shift from European mild flavour to the Bold spicy Indian flavours is difficult. They have kept authentic taste of each and every dish. Even if you don’t get some extraordinary dishes here, they have made the ordinary dishes taste so well that you will be happy having it. Their service is also fast and the waiters are polite. The prices are less as compared to other places. Overall a great place when it come to food.

The restaurant has simple ambience but the food is really good. Had the saufiyana paneer tikka which was bang on flavours. The chicken Kebabs were succulent and the quality of chicken used was excellent, they were easy to bite in and not chewy at all. For the main course chicken rara was amazing which had minced meat and chicken pieces in a flavourful gravy. Had it with naan which complemented it very well. Overall a good place to visit in kothrud for Indian food.

Visited Metromix some days back with some friends to review there north Indian menu. The place is located in Kothrud and is easy to find. They have recently modified there menu and from world wide cuisine they have moved on to specialising in North Indian cuisine. The place is run by an industry veteran who has been in the hotel Industry for past 30 years and is very humble and always open to give you some knowledge about different kinds of food.

The place has a calm and easy decor which is good for hanging out with friends also good for taking your family for dinner.

Now, talking about the food we ordered masala Papad which came very soggy and the Papad was burnt and it didn't tasted good. In starters we had 2 different styles of paneer and both were really good. In main course we ordered paneer tikka masala and tawa veg both the gravies were just ok in taste nothing fancy. Also, the mushrooms used in the gravy was stale and didn't tasted good. On the other hand the naan and roti were good in taste.
The service is super slow and needs to be improved.
Good place with affordable prices , but for sure needs some improvement.

It is a small place located in Kothrud. The ambience is nice. Service is good. Food is very good. Price is also reasonable. Zomato Gold benefits are available here.

There's a lot to say about my experience with this place. I hope that management reads this review thoroughly.
Let's start with accessibility & appearance. Well the area (Kumar Parisar) is perfect but the place should be more visible. Wooden furniture and yellow lights everywhere in the restaurant might be the reason that it's not visible from outside. Walls are covered with Mario Miranda arts.
The service is terrible!!! Literally worst!! Cautiousness and lack of confidence indicated that the staff is new and not trained properly. Starter took half hour to arrive at our table. After finishing with it plates weren't cleared then & there. Waited 20-25 mins after that (although the order was placed one stroke) for main course. Then they made mistake of serving the wrong order & naans which were not at all warm. Well naturally employees had to face my as well as other co-customers' anger.
Now the food part. We had paneer chatpata and subz tandoori. Both the dishes were exceptionally good in terms of taste & quantity. Subz tandoori had lip smacking gravy which is very different than the identical subjis you get everywhere.
Yes I am angry for the service which made me feel humiliated. I talked to the staff after dinner and they genuinely apologised for the extreme inconvenience.
I liked the taste and hence I will definitely give them another chance to change my opinion about this place. I wish to change my star rating just that I am expecting really quality service and trained staff the next time I visit.
Rama Joglekar
Kabab was good but main course was pathetic. Roti were very thick and raw. Food presentation was bad Planner tawa kitchen was spilling out of tawa. Cream was put on top like some has just thrown on it without care They have major staffing issue. Service is very bad and slow.
Metromix, a small indian restaurant located on the quiet lane near new DP road. They serve some classic North Indian dishes.
It's a small and cosy place. They have done the interior pretty well. The graffiti on the wall is catchy.

Now, coming towards food, we tried :

> Starters

1. Corn Seek Kebab (Rs.180) : As the name suggests, it's a corn kebab and so has a dominant taste of the corns. The kebabs were mildly spiced and then cooked properly in tandoor. If you like corn, you can go for this. I wish the kebabs were a bit succulent from inside.

2. Paneer Sofiyan (Rs.210) : It was basically, a paneer tikka with marination of curd, fennel seeds and some spices. For me, it lacked that prominent taste of saunf but other wise it was going well with the chutney. A special mention to 'mint green chutney' which was really good and wasn't watery at all.

> Main Course

3. Kumbh Makai Paneer (Rs.230) : For the uninitiated, it had basic 3 components: mushrooms, corn and paneer which was cooked in a medium spicy, yellow gravy. The gravy was really well made, it was nice and creamy. Loved this dish.

4. Paneer Tikka Masala (Rs.240) : A dish which is favorite amongst all the paneer lovers. This dish was also really good. Tandoori paneer along with diced onions and capsicums was cooked in a spicy red gravy.

> Desserts

5. Gulab Jamun (Rs.120) : Small gulab jamuns were served nice and hot with nuts on top. The gulab jamuns were extremely soft and the sweetness level was also on point. Overall, it was nice.

6. Gajar Halwa (Rs.120) : Loved this desert! Consistency wise it was very good and the khoya which was added in the halwa was giving a rich taste to it. Also, a subtle flavor of cardamom was too good.

7. Moong Dal Halwa (Rs.130) : Well, I didn't like this much. I wish it could have cooked for some more time and in some more ghee. Also, I felt the sugar was less in it.

Overall, it's a nice option in kothrud to have some tasty north indian dishes.

Metromix kothrud has delicious Indian menu, they have their second branch on Prabhat road as well!
Was invited here for tasting and we tried some of their signature dishes!

Starters -
Paneer sofiyan - Soft paneer chunks with smokey flavours bursting in your mouth, tasty start to your meal! Six pieces per plate!

Paneer tikka - Paneer marinated in spices and grilled in tandoor, was soft and tasty, the chunks I had were a bit over grilled hence I chucked the side portion. The taste is amazing! vegetarians, go for this!

Chicken moghlai - a treat for non spicy food lovers, chicken chunks were juicy and fresh, the marination was done right, topped with cheese and loaded with mild and tasty flavours, this malai tikka will satisfy your tastebuds!

Chicken banjara - again a milder version of chicken starters, topped with cheese and marinated in their special banjara style, this fills your tummy, enough in quantity!

Mains -
Rara chicken - chicken gravy loaded with chicken pieces, non spicy, this tasty dish goes well with your choice of bread! We had butter rotis with our main sabjis and it tasted amazing.
Also rotis come loaded with butter which I personally loved!

Murgh handi - Less spicy yet tasty, chicken pieces with a creamy gravy, tasted simply delicious!

Tawa paneer - served in a flat decorative plate, this paneer main dish was tasty, a little bit spicy, it's a thick gravy with paneer chunks decorated with salad and veggies.

Sabji tandoori masala - another veg main with thick gravy, loaded with different types of veggies including mushrooms.

Overall it was a tasty and filling meal at Metromix! The quantity is sufficient and the food quality is good too. The ambience is nice, seating is limited.

It seems the hotel has moved. After going there realized that it’s a different restaurant now but the name is still same.
Stars are mandatory so giving 1star. Looking for the new address.
Chaitanyah
The name nd ownership has changed and still they have kept the old name and denied gold membership while having the same name on the restaurant! Who does that? When you change the name least you can do is update zomato people and put a new name on the restaurant right??? How pathetic

Was really disappointed to visit this place near Prabhat Road, only to find that they don't have Zomato Gold, contrary to what is mentioned on their Zomato Page. Their excuse was not having updated their information/address, which is really lame and misleading. Poor service guys.
Neelay Mehendale
The Metromix had one outlet near mahatma Society, which served food from all cuisines. I went there today, on my family's suggestion, only to realize that they served only Indian... All the other cuisines are now being served at a new outlet near Prabhat road. Metromix is serving far less items as opposed to the menu displayed on zomato, sadly that has not been updated from the older menu. Considering that the outlet is over a month old, these things should be taken care of. The food however was not a disappointment. I ordered the onion soup (it is listed among other popular dishes in Metromix on zomato, however it was not mentioned on the menu), which was very tasty. The other dishes we ordered were good as well; the chicken pesto, chicken lasagne margarita, the lemon garlic chicken, the blueberry cheesecake and the chocolate mousse. The lasagne was cold, a shame... for it would have been great piping hot.
The ambience is cozy and warm and has a homely feel, but the place looks like it might turn chaotic if it reaches full capacity. The staff was courteous and the food was served on time.
3 stars for menu (only because the number of items have been reduced from the previous menu)
4 stars for staff
3.5 stars for ambience
3.5 stars for food
= A conservative 3*

Place is nice. Small and cozy. Ambiance is nice. All the graffiti on the wall steals your attention.
Talking about the food it was totally disappointing.
Service is slow.
The Vegan Foodie
The place is small but nicely decorated. Not much crowded but food is really great. We had all veg food so don’t have much idea about non veg.The lasagna was too good ,nicely presented and perfectly presented. Not a big fan of Sizzlers but the Mexican Sizzler was also good.Crispy fried vegetables and Hakka noodles were fine.In deserts we had Chocolate Mint mouse,Sizzling brownie,Caramel custard and blueberry cheesecake.Blueberry cheese cake was not at all fresh and waiter innocently said it’s been just 3 days it’s been refrigerated😂 but than he replaced it.All deserts were amazing but there was nothing different in presentation.
Overall
Crowd 3/5
Food 5/5
Ambience 4/5
Cost 3/5(zomato gold is savage)

The quality of food has become worse. It is not like it used to be. Sorry to say but they need to get their quality and taste back. I think the Chef has changed.

The ambience is average, the service is alright. We ordered a Ravioli and quesadillas.
The Ravioli was good, but the quesadillas were terrible.
The bread used for them was basically a roasted paratha and they kept falling apart as we tried to eat them. Also we were made to wait about 30 mins for the quesadillas so the disappointment was penultimate.
We would most likely only visit this place again to avail the gold benefits and because the Ravioli made the rest of the menu seem promising.

We visited this place on a Saturday afternoon. Reading the reviews and ratings from Zomato we expected the place to be great but it was average. The food was average, the peach iced tea wasn't good. The service was slow but the staff was polite.
ShineTheFoodie
The food was tasty and not so costly which was good

The order took more time than expected
Ambience was also great

The experience was good and relaxing 👍🏻👍🏻

This is a small restaurant with a very limited menu to offer but my family loves to visit it.
They have taken efforts to have a cosy friendly ambience with wall arts and testimonials from famous personalities (hand written ) and newspaper cuttings related to metromix..
The food tastes good and the staff is friendly..
Also I appreciate the music that is played there!
I just wish the food is served sooner and the waiting time is cut down!
Good luck Metromix!
Soma Pradhan
Love the small joint near Mahatma Society. Warm cozy place neatly done aesthetically.. The wall is filled with reviews from few very renounced personalities.. I had roasted garlic chicken soup, sizzler bothe veg and non veg and sizzling brownie. also had mushroom pasta which was creamy and perfect. A dinner well do e with family and friends

We went there to celebrate something special and trust me this place didn't disappoint. Nice and cozy. If you're looking out for sizzlers, this is the place to be. The service is a bit slower but the food is worth waiting for.

I read a few days ago that this place serves excellent Sizzlers. Being close to where I live, I decided to give it a try since Metromix is also a Zomato Gold partner.

Metromix is tucked away opposite Kumar Parisar, in a very peaceful locality in Kothrud. The restaurant is small and cozy, and the ambience too is peaceful. The staff is polite and courteous.

Coming to the food, we ordered two vegetarian sizzlers:

Mexican Sizzler:

Liked the taste of the Mexican sizzler. It wasn't excessively spicy. The rice and the veggies were cooked to perfection and overall it went together very well.

Indian Sizzler:

This seemed something different than the usual sizzlers, which is why we decided to try it. It had a paneer-tikka style gravy to go with jeera rice and the steamed veggies. Loved the taste of this one, and as instructed, the sizzler was prepared a bit less spicy, but without compromising on the deliciousness of it.

The fries served with the sizzlers were also good, not too oily and in decent quantity.

Overall, taste-wise, really loved both the sizzlers. The only negative was the service time, it took quite long to serve, but apart from that, absolutely no complains. With Zomato Gold especially, the visit was totally worth it!

Metromix is a cozy place for dining with friends and family. I'm still a little unsure about the world cuisine part but the food was decent. The preparations were good but I feel could have been better. The soup was excellent and I enjoyed it the most. The quesadillas feel could have had better filling. The wheat quesadilla was ok and I need to try the corn one next. The sizzlers were a pleasant surprise - both good and not so good. With the servers description, I thought it would be spicy but wasn't and felt it could have been better. Overall, this is a cozy place with good food options. I'll be coming back to try some other items and probably rescore based on that experience.

This is our first time visit to the restaurant ,we found it from zomato.we Went there to celebrate some special occasion and I must say that we enjoyed the ambiance and the food very much.Food preparation is different and they come out really tasty ... I m looking forward to taste more items from the chef .

We happened to order a dish from the restaurant, it was delivered pretty late that I had to send it back. The restaurant apologize for the delay and assured a complimentary dish for the delay, we also got our refund from Zomato. I happen to visit the restaurant post few days, the staff recognized me and offered a complimentary desert which we politely declined as we thought it to be unethical to get the dish complimentary as we had received the refund. The staff insisted but we declined stating we would come later and have our complimentary dish. I happen to order something from them today and to our utter surprise the delivery had a complimentary desert. This is astonishing to see a restaurant go to to this limits to please their customer. Mr. Sachin, I want to take a moment to appreciate your level of service and commitment towards the customer. The food at your restaurant has always been good and we look forward to get the warmth from your hospitality.

The food I ordered was awesome.

Sadly, isn't what it used to be. Watered down Tom kha soup,(with shredded carrots and cabbage!!!!) lazagne had no taste. Lemon cheesecake was just jam and bad cream cheese.

Small cozy place to have a nice quiet dinner/lunch.

It's in the heart of Kothrud and although small the interiors are lively and welcoming, also the lighting is nice which makes you feel warm and cozy. But we don't go to a restaurant to feel cozy...do we now????

So coming to the point, FOOD...!!! It was good....I have visited this place at least thrice. And we have liked wahtever we have ordered.

Red Thai curry seems to be their speciality and a very popular dish but I am yet to try that.

We had mushroom soup, bbq chicken wings and Caujon sizzler.

All the dishes were nice/palatable. The chicken was soft, juicy and delicious. Only thing lacking was it was not marinated properly in the sauce but the way it was cooked soft and tender more than made up for that. The BBQ sauce was freshly cooked and was nice...a big thumbs up for that. It was almost the perfect amount of spicy and sweet.

The Caujon sizzler was also good, the sauce it self was tasty, a but cheesy and a bit spicy..white coloured sauce. Rice was very bland and should carry more flavour so that it can add some more flavour to the sizzler.

Overall a good experience, nice food with good quality and comfortable seating.

And you get mints with your bill :)))
Rahul Avachat
A nice cozy place to spend your time peacefully with your loved once. Decor is simple but tasteful. Little goan, mario miranda style painting all over the walls and pure wood seating makes this place cozy and relaxing.

Food is just awesome, you pick any dish from the menu and you will cherish the taste. Every prep is carefully crafted by the chef Mr. Sachin.

Fresh ingredients, particularly salads and veggies. Gourmet sauces and accompaniments give the fresh taste of everything we eat. Almost had every dish from the menu excluding fish. But I am sure the food here will tickle your taste buds.

I highly recommend this place.

I ordered the Veg Caesar Salad from here via online partner.. And the quantity was very disappointing. I ended up paying 289/- (with delivery) for a half EMPTY container. It is an UNFAIR PRICE for the SMALL PORTIONS offered by the restaurant. No value for money!

I urge others to confirm portion size before ordering... Don't be duped like I was.

Pathetic service
Food is not hot as person took too much time to deliver the food

We had ordered following
Starters:
Paneer Satay
Garlic Cheese Mushroom Balls
Nachos
Garlic Bread

Main Course
Penne Pasta white sauce
Spiral Pasta pink sause
Mexican Sizzler
Vegetable Doria

In all the starters were amazing, Panner Satay was the star. Vegetable Doria was nice. Mexican Sizzler was yummy. However the pasta were not tasting that good.

Ambience amazing..
Staff is humble..
Dish rates affordable..
I had placed an order and after 25 minutes of placing the order they call me telling that they are full and doesn't have delivery boys to deliver the order. Could i come and pick up the order was their question. Bad 1st experience anyway.

Special Mention to the ambience right from the caricature style paintings to hanging hats certainly add to mood of the place.
Fairly a quaint place to have a nice dinner with family and friends.
I ordered the herb roasted chicken after much deliberation. The service was slow but totally worth the wait. The chicken was perfectly cooked with a very delicious and wholesome quantity of sauce with an assortment of veggies and mashed potatoes.
Quantity is enough for two people.
PS : It's on the main DP road but can be easily missed due to wrongly placed high raised plants. The owners should really move them somewhere else.

Wonderful restaurant... The menu is well crafted... Food is delicious... The decor is unique and amazing... Good for parties, good for intimate dinner... It's the best!!!

It was one of my GF's Farwell at office and we decided to celebrate it here with lunch... 5-6kms away from office. And ot was not worth it😢We ordered garlic bread & corn fritters for the starters. Garlic bread was good but corn fritters lacked any taste. I could taste corn flour in it... No other flavors😕
In mains we had past al pesto and grilled fish with sambal. Fish was disastrous so much so that we couldn't even taste it beyond first bite. And it was not grilled by any means.
Relaying on the zomato reviews & it's location in Kothrud, i didn't have any doubts about this place. But seems Zomato is no more to be trusted... 😥😰
Great place for Thai food and Sizzlers. They have their own style of cooking which makes metromix stand out. Ambience wise the place is supercool. You feel you are eating some handpicked food.

Great place...
Food quality very good and portions correct
Service takes a bit longer as it looks the Restaurant in understaffed and operates with only 1 Chef...
But nonetheless worth waiting......

This is my all time fav place.
I luv thai curry , nachos , garlic bread , soups n most of the things they serve.
Desert I would advice to go for sizzling brownie n nothing else.

Cool calm place.

They will take time to serve but surely would serve the best....

Love u metromix

Total chaos.. ordered online.. ordered non veg Laska and got Alfredo pasta.. suprisingly Laska and pasta rhymed and could have been the reason got the other part of this chaotic Melody.. sorting out the confusion not only ate up an hr of our hungry time but below avg quality of the food integrated it to the other level.. bread delivered with keema was no good..infact it smelt.while keema lacked on the part of taste. It was too mild and less on the flavours than one would expect.. pasta ..wasn't too great either .. we could not make out whether it was the food or packing that spoilt the food ...but overall thumbs down ...
Pranali Khanolkar
Below average food quality ..nacho and chips was worst I ever had.Pizza was packed in Aluminium foil which was messy to unwrap and eat. over all not a good experience
@Sachin - Today it was very disappointing . I love this place like anything so I had write it.
Looks like chef has changed . Entire food taste was mediocre. I had tom kha soup ,Chilly chicken and Alfredo chicken pasta . Not happy with any of the food item today.
I come here to enjoy authentic food . Loved it always .
Also while eating food, your manger requested me to shift to some other table to accommodate bigger group . He was polite but it wasn't professional.

If your wish to have some quiet time with your friends and family with Mexican food options, metromix one option in kothrud. It is a small place though with decent food options. No drinks served. Decent balance in veg-non veg food options.

Food: (2/5)
Visited this place after reading bunch of reviews in Zomato, we wanted to try something new. Menu is interesting but unfortunately the dishes we ordered were not good. We ordered Alfredo pasta veg which had burnt mushroom and Nachos (the crispness of nachos died in river of cheese and half cooked salsa). Another big let down was drinking water. We saw the attendant coming from bathroom area with filled water bottle so we decided to get mineral water instead. But they charged Rs 45 for a bottle with MRP 20. When we asked about this the staff arrogantly said the price is mentioned in menu.

Ambiance: (4/5)
Ambiance is quite good.

Service: (3/5)
The service was quick as we were the only customer :) .

Must Have's and Don't Haves:
Alfredo pasta is a don't have because they have burnt mushrooms in it.

Verdict:
(2/5)We visited this place reading its menu which was interesting, however the dishes were not as good as it looks. Also they should work on the hygiene not only where it is visible to customers but also inside the kitchen and else where. It is also very highly priced.

Suggestions:
Please maintain some hygiene and the Overall prices are high which was not at all worthy !!

Metromix, the place which never disappointed me. Small -cozy place with a look of a cafe but serves fine continental dishes. I am in madly love with their "Grilled Fish with Herb Butter Sauce", the preparation is fabulous. Imaging that dish is just mouthwatering. Besides that any starter/appetizer is just amazing. I rarely get great garlic-cheez bread, Metromix is one of the place where you'll get great garlic-cheez breads. Don't forget to order spicy one if you love spicy n hot garlic bread. I loved their Thai food as well.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you love continental food.

Great food with some slips and misses; not kind on the wallet!

This place has been around for really long. It is eye-catching even from a distance, and has entertaining and tastefully done interiors. This is where you would like to bring a witty and smart date, for instance.

The menu is interesting too, and not just in word, but also in spirit. Our meal crossed a lot of cultural borders and we weren't depressed, but there were some small lapses. For one, the Tom Kha soup (veg) was very, very spicy - it isn't meant to be so - and wouldn't have gone do so well if it weren't for the winter cold and our hungry stomachs. The fried mushrooms starter was perfect in taste and texture, but the mushrooms were so piping hot in temperature that I scalded my lip badly and carried around the scar for a week later. We ordered pastas for the main course - Chicken Pesto and Ravioli Arrabiata, and both were great save for the fact that the Pesto had more capsicum and barely any traces of chicken, and the Arrabiata needed salt. But the pesto and ravioli were beautifully done, and that saved the day. We did end up paying a princely sum, but it wasn't a heartburn.

Overall, a nice place to try new stuff if you don't go into details, and don't mind splurging once in a while.
AN
It was a home delivery order and it was delivered half an hour late from the expected delivery time, that was disappointing. I ordered the spicy garlic bread and Thai green curry. The spicy garlic bread was really nice in flavor. But, the Thai green curry was completely different story. It was missing flavors that define it, I could not taste any Thai basil or lemongrass flavors and it was too creamy, rich and thick but very less of coconut milk. Overall not that good of a first impression.
Aishwarya
We had ordered Veg Lemon Coriander Soup which was hot and comforting. The Ravioli was made up of just spinach which wasn't blanched and so tasted very funny. The white sauce provided with the Ravioli was slimy and hence the dish proved to not be such a good choice.

The Veg Lasagne was ok. Better than the last time I had eaten it there but please stop putting whole peppercorns in your continental dishes as it ruins the taste if one accidentally bites into one.
Bageshree Umarani
Extremely slow service with arrogant staff. After making us wait for a good 10 minutes, we were finally offered some water, which took an additional 10 minutes to reach our table. By this time, the tables around us had filled up. The manager/ person-in-charge went around taking orders from all tables except ours inspite of requesting him 3-4 times. Finally we lost our cool and decided to leave. He did not even bother to ask us what the issue was. This is definitely not the way to treat guests.

The place is so highly rated and so we walked in with our friends and family - a group of 6 adults and 5 kids. We ordered for
pasta napoletano - only veggies and sauce, tasteless. My boys love pasta and they left it on the plate.
cream of mushroom soup - it was a creamy velouté with no taste of mushroom
Creamy mushroom crostini - extremely salty
Thai Yellow and Green curry - thickened with cornflour, no basic ingredients like basil, galangal, cafir lime leaves or lemon grass. Both curries tasted the same.
Pad Thai Noodles - BIG DISASTER. Pad Thai mixed with yellow curry. No lime, peanuts, bean sprouts or scallions.
Place is extremely unhygienic- no place to wash hands, someone was talking a bath in the only washroom available!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A BIG LET DOWN Mr. Joshi!!!!!
Lippy Gogoi
We ordered the chicken and pineapple salad, chicken lasagna, herb roasted chicken and chocolate & mint mousse for dessert. Undoubtedly all the dishes were delectable. Hats off to the chef!I have never finished my veggies in my plate before and the herb chicken dish compelled me to do so. You can smell the herbs without even taking a bite. I just have one request though, if the salad leaf used for dressing can be served fresh instead of the soggy worn of leaf served with every dish. It will enhance the presentation even more.

We have been visiting this place since last 3-4 years. Starters they offer are amazing.Sometimes soup n starters is enough for us. But....They have variety of dishes in main course too.But desserts they offer are very very unique in taste..so indulgence for (sweet) desserts continues. Its must visit place when you feel to enjoy the food to its fullest

A small but sweet place. Right from the ambiance to the food, every single thing was perfect. They have made perfect use of crunched space to convert it into amazing food station. We have been to this place so many times but never disappointed with the food. It is an amazing restaurant. Very good ambience. Food is too good and totally worth the money.
We ordered tomato bruchetta, grilled fish in butter sauce, rosemary chicken & Thai red curry... It was very delicious n tasty..
I must say that Chef Sachin is an amazing host n looks into every order n table personally.

I can't comment on the dine in experience but their delivery system is miserable. They have the flimsiest containers that leak or break open on delivery. Even with Swiggy, I received food that was more in the bag the containers came in, than the containers themselves.

I also would like to question the concept of adding a service charge for delivery, especially when they aren't even involved in it.

Food is mediocre compared to their prices. I could accept the quality at half the rate, maybe.

cozy ambience, nice wall art which gave me memories of my Goa... felt nostalgic...and food was toooo good!! we ordered nachos, bruschetta (which was customised for us), yummy onion soup and doria.. all dishes were finger licking good!! punekars!! do try out this great place...

ADEQUATE PLACE. PALATABLE FOOD.
No one would expect this kind of restaurant to be sitting amidst Kothrud. Serving world cuisine, this is a hidden gem. I have been visiting the place frequently and have not been disappointed a single time.
Even though the place is very small, ambiance is unique. The walls are filled with art made by some local artist. The chef is very famous and many illustrious people have visited and wrote about this place.

The service is where they should improve on. It is as slow as it gets. They take 45 minutes or more to serve.(You can spend this time staring at walls filled with art.) So I recommend reaching early.

Coming to the food,
It is mouth watering. The restaurant serves world cuisine so there is something for everyone. Hallelujah.
From starters I recommend FROSTY CHICKEN which is basically crispy succulent chicken with honey sauce. This is my all time favourite.
For vegans, BRUSCHETTA is a good option.
From soups section, ROASTED CORN AND GARLIC SOUP Is one of the best soups one can have here. It is jam packed with flavour and is well seasoned.
I have had numerous dishes from mains but HERB ROASTED CHICKEN is just delicious. Basically it is american style stack of chicken which is served with veggies and mashed potato. It comes with a brown sauce which is really pungent. SICHUAN CHICKEN is decent. Thai food is also adequate. I would recommend not to order sizzlers as there are better places where they serve way better sizzlers.
To end it all, TIRAMISU would be the best bet. The coffee flavoured Italian dessert is made to perfection.

So overall, One who wants to eat World cuisine without burning the pocket and has a bit extra time on their hands, this seems perfect. If you are anywhere in Kothrud, Metromix is a must try! So go ahead and give it a crack.

***RATINGS***
Service -: 2/5
Ambiance -: 3/5
Food -: 4/5
Value for money 3.5/5
