Review Anarse Samosewale - Pune

Dinesh Mahajan
Went here on Monday afternoon to have a hot smoking Samosa’s for which they are famous for. I went here by 3:30PM and found there was no rush at the shop so I thought I might miss getting hot Samosa’s but I was wrong, I got sizzling hot Samosa’s with their expertised chutney and yellow small shev was cherry on the top. Also tried cheese bites they were also too good like 10/10

Such a different experience with their Samosas! Indeed they are famous for a reason. This was one of the best samosa I have ever had in my life. Not at all exaggerating.. We reached just around the time they opened so luckily got served piping hot samosa. Chutney and barik sev that they sprinkle on top is a game changer. Masala inside is simple and delicious. Not like the typical brown ones. Also tried Cheese Bites. Unique item one must try if you have the capacity for spicy items. For me it was too chilly so I had to share. Taste was great. You can top it up with a cold coffee which I missed. They have a limited assorted of items which is why the quality is so good I think. Keep it up! One of a kind, memories attached with #Anarse samosewale. It was near the telephone shope initially later they shifted near nimbalkar talim. Samosa is stuffed with mashed potatoes and it has a unique taste. Good for small parties. Parking is there P1 & P2. SBI atm is nearby. The owner is very keen and also passionate about the business. Samosa rate is a bit high 23/- each.

Loved the samosa! A completely unique filling in their Samosas! We ordered both; A samosa and A Vada Pav. The Vada Pav was not as great as the samosa. The size is good also the stuffing is not the typical Yellow filling we see in any road side Samosa. Also the location is right in the heart of Sadashiv Peth. Also the road is a one way road and a small one. You may not be able to park your 4-wheelers in front of the shop. A good place for a quick samosa. Also the owner was very cheerful and welcoming in the morning hours when we had visited. Go try the samosa!

Indeed the samosa is different It’s very crispy and the filling tastes good. Rs.25/- Cold coffee is delicious. Cheese bites are yumm

Its must visit place for us for quick bites in city area since decade. One must try there signature Samosas and Cheese balls. Samosas were filled with mild spicy mashed potato with thin and crispy crust outside. Served with Imli (tamarind) and mint chutney and chillies which makes it very tempting. They also have Vada pav option but never tried and cold coffee as well. All options are for quick bites so you can have them standing only as no place for sitting.

Great crispy and tasty samosa. A very old chain. They also serve vada pav. We ordered both and it was piping hot and tasted nice.

I have been eating Anarse Samosa since 18 odd years. It was one of the best Samosa that I have had till date. Today I got a chance to visit them after about 3 years. Now they have shifted to a more organised place just diagonally opposite to its earlier place. The tase remains the same, the chutney too tasted the same. Only thing missing is the wait for ‘garam-garam’ samosa. Its like pay and you get the super tasty samosa. Other than Samosas, they have various other items on the menu.

Not too much of spices in the filling. Enjoyed the tasty yet simple samosa. The tamarind chutney and sev enhance taste. Loved it!

Very well known for their samosas whereas I was craving for vada pav so I gave it a try. Not disappointed I must say. In fact it was unexpectedly tasty and the service was quick. It's a bit expensive but totally worth it. They need to work on their seating or at least cover up the outdoor passage in rainy days for people to stand and eat without getting wet. No washroom facility. Delicious food though. Must try.

Very crunchy testy Samosa, white patato filling inside, green and sweet chutney is the best.👍
Raghav Bisht
Delicious samosas served with tamarind sweet chutney and green chutney. Samosas look and tastes way different from traditional samosas.

It's a really great place to have a samosa. I am a great fan of this place. Cheese bites is also a must try

Best place to have awesome samosa........with a best chutney.........and besides to it there is a cafe where you will get the best cold coffee........and CAD M & CAD B........one should surely visit it once and give it a try.... It's just located behind Apte road...which is near Laxmi road.......🔥🔥🔥

Very good quality samosa & cheese bites.

After a long time I was excited to eat Samosa from Anarse. I parceled (to-go) it got it home and when i ate the first bite, I regretted that i bought it at the first place. The oil in which samosa was fried was stinking and was stale. The original taste is lost, completely lost. I was shocked to see this quality degraded over all these years. On top of that if you eat the Samosa there it will cost you 22 INR and if parcel it will be 24, in covid situation if you are pushing entire cost of parcel to customer at-least be true to your original taste and cook in fresh oil. Overall - I do not recommend this place from now on.

Yesterday I visited this place ....They searve good quality and quantity of food .<br/>Pocket friendly<br/>Polite staff<br/>Awesome taste

At first, you're expecting a normal elongated cutlet with cheese inside when you order Cheesy bites, but then you will be surprised for the zingiest, cheesy and crispy treat you're in for! Two people sharing the cheesy bites and the big samosa? that's a perfectly priced quick meal for me :)

I heard lot of good things about this place.. So i went for samosa as this place is famous for samosa... But Next day I fell sick with bad stomach.. But I think it is okay and reason may be something else.. but It happen 2 3 times.. whenever i ate samosa at this place i fell sick with bad stomach.. I think they serve stale samosa.. Back in 2000s it might be good but nowadays it is worst.. But you can give it a try but remember to take medicine along with.. Best of Luck!!!

Best Samosa in Pune-<br/><br/>As we were wandering in the city on Friendship day, we ended up here. We saw a huge crowd in front of a small shop named Anarse Samosewale, having Indian snacks.<br/>We ordered a samosa which was big, cost us INR 22. Initially, we thought it was very costly, but after eating we came to know it was totally worth.<br/>A very different kind of recipe was used to make potato stuffings inside samosa. Yummy samosa was served with chutney, which made my day.
NAHID T
They serves best cheese bites ..they are really cheesy stuffed with potato and cheese and serves with green and red chutney . Samosas also taste best!!<br/>Best place middle of the city and worth price and quality.
Mangesh Kachba
Anarase is the oldest place located in sadashive peth ..I have been visiting this place for so many years ..and the samosas where always pipping hot and delicious...a must try place for sure...

To much of the hype this joint has, the samosa is just not that good and the cost of samosa totally makes it unworthy. Apart from imli chutni nothing was good.
Abhijeet
very old place near nyan probhodini i bought samosas they gave me piping hot samosas but when i reached home it became cold. In samosa only green chillie paste filling nothing else like green peas etc.. chutney was nice but outer cover at the end was too hard to chew .

#DownTheMemoryLane<br/><br/>Twenty years ago, when I was a student, due to tight pocket money, I would visit a samosewala near Dnyan Prabodhini who would be selling piping hot samosas for Rs. 2 a plate on his bicycle carrying a big cane basket. Soon he moved into a shack and now after twenty years he has a nice shop along with various outlets in the city.<br/><br/>Apparently much has changed over the time. What? Let's see..<br/><br/>【AMBIENCE】 - ⭐️⭐️<br/>Just two tables to eat standing and go. So not much of an ambience to say.<br/><br/>【FOOD ORDERED】 - ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️<br/><br/>[SAMOSA] - Piping hot. Trademark extra large crispy edges with their special fully mashed potato filling served with Sev, green chutney, sweet chutney and chilli. Liked it but somehow it didn't match to the taste of the samosas sold 20 years ago.<br/><br/>[CHEESE BITES] - Didn't impress me much. A mozzarella stick coated with the same samosa potato filling covered with bread crumbs then deep fried.<br/><br/>【VALUE FOR MONEY】 - ⭐️⭐️<br/>One samosa for ₹ 25 and cheese bites for ₹ 50 was tad on the expensive side.<br/><br/>【OVERALL EXPERIENCE】 - ⭐️⭐⭐<br/>Looks like after 20 years it's time to accept that things change. So may be this is the last visit to one of the nostalgic places which I had seen growing up. Would rate 3 instead of 2 just for old time's sake.<br/><br/>

We tried this place near dyan prabodhini pune.It is situated in area with lot of hustle bustle and usually crowded. They serve tasty crispy samosa and nice chutneys.Samosa is bit on a spicy side but you will love it.It has crispy crust and is a must try .<br/>Amazing samosas<br/><br/>

It”s only street food which was dominated at top list in india................the ambience of taste which irresistibly make me more and more hunger towards anything....why ? Becoz the mixtures of the several spices , the complementary chutney are there and the last ...as much as it hot as much you find the endeavoured taste............IT”S NOT THE EXISTING STREETFOOD ........

Samosa is a feeling that no Vada Pav lovers will understand ... It's pure love 😍 and this is favourite place of samosa lovers. Anarase Samose their samose was my snack once upon time and it was one of the best samosa in Pune but now I felt that their taste of samosa has camed down as compared to earlier one.<br/>And wadapav was spicy as it should be and with emli chatni.<br/>I tried their new smack "CHEESE BITE" loved it but somehow the taste of cheese was less compare to potato. It was bland.<br/><br/>Follow Me On Instagram-@Kautuk.girl_alisha<br/>•Happy Eating,Happy Fatting.

This being a samosa place I never thought of trying anything other than Samosas, but my friend suggested me to try these Cheese Bites and believe me it’s the best Cheese bites I have ever had.<br/>Covering is very crispy and crunchy, batter is a mixture of mashed Potatoes, Perfect quantity of cheese and some chilli flakes! <br/>A must try! ❤️

I used to visit Anarse Samose when I was a school kid. At that time they were serving Samosa's in a shack near Jana Prabhidhini. Their Samosa used to be one of the best Samosa in pune.<br/> Any ways now they have a proper outlet but the taste of their Samosa has declined. Its crispy but doesn't have that charm.<br/>Today I tried their Cheese Bite. After reading this ehat came into my mind was a cheesy snack. But it was like a veg roll having potato as its outer cover and littile amount of cheese. No taste of cheese I found. It was bland and taste of potato was over powering taste of Cheese. Rather there was no flavour of cheese. Its price is 50 rs. But, I dont think its worth it. Its overall taste is good but it should have the taste of cheese as name suggests. Otherwise there are many places where you get nice veg rolls or cutlets.

worst!worst! samosa i have ever had. Why did i even go there? because it was good place 2-3 years back. If u like just a boiled potato inside fried maida then go for it. The only thing which was good was green chillies. Definately not a place for foodies. good options are available nearby so go for them.<br/>Just an Overpriced food stall..<br/>
BHUSHAN DABHADE
Worst samosa I ever had, charging 20 rs but not even 5 rs quality don't waste ur money nd time.. u can go for chitale swets samosa which is near naagnath par .
Kedar Barve
I used to visit this place when I was in school & that time, it was priced for 2.5 RS per samosa so we would eat 2 samosa in 5 RS & a buttermilk in neighboring shop (that had only lassi & buttermilk on the menu with no emergence of cadB cadM Cold coffee Cooka etc.)<br/><br/>I used to like this place in older times a lot..! Now the owner has managed to build a shop instead of thela that it used to be..but things have changed unfavorable for the old customers :-(<br/>Price has gone up almost 6 times & taste has degraded.<br/><br/>On one occasion, we bought parcel from this place & when samosa was cold by the time we reached home, it was too chewy!! I mean I understand that it's not supposed to be eaten cold but this was just to point out quality of ingredients they use. Cold samosa from other outlets still tastes better.<br/><br/>Also recently tried eating this hot in the shop itself. But won't do it again as it disturbed my memories of good old Anarase samosa & I don't want to do that :)<br/><br/>The serving guys & owner have grown attitude problems & they do not care for customer service.<br/><br/>Overall I would be happy to recommend it in the past, but won't recommend it now!
Babal Samant
customer would be shocked to see the place & the way these so called Zamosa made, kind of water storage facility & utensil cleaning being carried out ; not hygienic at all.
Shivani Karandkar
Very nice place. There are less options to eat but very tasty options. Service is good. Pocket Friendly. Amazing for samosa lovers. We had one samosa and one vadapav. Overall experience is Good.
Naresh Ramchandani
A small outlet near Jnana Prabhodani, serves piping hot samosas with shev and chutney.<br/>Samosa are quite crispy and well stuffed.<br/>The vada pav at this outlet is also quite tasty<br/>They also have cheese bites which are decent and are served with green and imli chutney<br/><br/>A great snack place in this area!<br/><br/>
Iamafoodie
Why do ppl like this place..the samosa qaulity is substandard and no wer close to a real fully stuffed samosa. Its jts fafda made out of samosas outer covering. The filling is next to nothing. Y do the call it a samosa?
Sukhad Pathak
'Anarse samosewale' is a small and old place in the khaugalli right in front of dnyanprabhodhini.<br/>It is famous for their samosa as well as their special 'cheese bites' in desi style. <br/>There is no seating arrangement. It's a good option for a quick snack.<br/>The samosa here is nice and crispy with a good tasting stuffing.<br/>The cheese bites are crispy and and really cheesy. Both the dishes are severed with green chutney & imli ki chutney.<br/>The masala papad is also quite tasty.<br/>Price : Rs.20 for samosa and 40 for cheese bites.<br/>P.S. - I sometimes do feel that this place is quite overrated.<br/><br/>
PitStopPune
A small shop in khau galli .Opp. Jnana Prabodhini .<br/>Their speciality is Samosa..they serve hot piping Samosa with shev and chatni.<br/>Their cheese bites are also very tasty.<br/>Their serving is fast .<br/>They even have parcel service . <br/>A good experience I had ever <br/>

One joint having typical puneri attitude, who do not provide tissues just bcoz the number of people visiting this joint are more. As if people visit their joint to wipe their hands using their free tissues. Serving food items which are deep fried and saying no to tissues just coz they have to give tissues to everyone is the cheapest thing i'v ever come across in Pune. Upon arguing, when they try closing the conversation saying, "people should carry handkerchief." Really? I mean seriously? Oily fingers/hands to be wiped using handkerchieves??? Point here is, we give u money for food and service. Use a sweet gesture. <br/><br/>1) Samosa - good<br/>2) Cheese Bytes - overhyped and oily (plus they do not provide tissues, do not order)
Kirtisagar Krishnamurthy
Except for those sweet shops where you would get a samosa with the marwadi flavor attached to it, in case you want to try something different, this is surely the best. It's been almost 6 years now that I've been visiting this place. The samosas here are crispy, the chutney is amazing and In all it has a good flavor to it. There is really no ambience as such, but its a snack break centre. Be careful with your vehicle parking.
Amruta
I have been having this Samosa since ages or to be specific since he sold it on a pkastic table in cane basket for 2 rs each(no not KRK's). Its was so reasonable and tasty. But in recent visit i have been missing that taste and also think it is a bit over priced but still i definitely pay a visit everytime i go to JP
Hardik
Really the best Samosa you can have in pune. The chutneys add to the flavour very well. Ambience wise the place is not so good, but fine to hang out with friends. The wada pav is also very tasty. Just one suggestion, please open more branches across pune so that accessibility increases.
Mugdha K
Best samosa. It is crispy mainly bcoz I think it is made from wheat flour. And the tamarind & chili chutney wit shev on top just makes the samosa amazing. I never thought I wud pay 20 Rs. for a single samosa. But it is totally worth it.
Amit Gaikwad
I am having these samosas when the outlet started some where back in 2000. When they started the cost was Rs 2 and today the same is Rs 20. Yesterday there was a function at my home and took a delivery of 30 samosa from them. The quality has degraded a lot. The samosa was fried twice. This was the first time I saw the samosa getting fried at there outlet ( previously the used to get a fried crate of Samosas from there kitchen unit and it used to get vanished immediately as it used to come.  But all in all everything was missing. Thought of giving owner a feedback but when I interacted with him at the time taking the delivery he was still very confident  about his product and I felt he may not take in a positive way. Anyways I will really try to avoid this place in future with a heavy heart as it had lot my memories attached from my college days.

If u r on Tilak road..then yaha jana Banta Hai boss.. This place is amazing, well known for samosa's but other things r also good.. Cheese bite is one of d speciality.. And not at all expensive, best stall on "khaugalli"
DEEPTI PUNDLÉ
Ambience is not really their forte but when there's a crispy samosā on your plate waiting to be devoured, who cares for what surroundings look like? 😀<br/><br/>Tried their cheese bites too.. They're value for money (₹40 a pair) but would like it more if they put in more cheese per piece and make it a bit spicy..
Christine
Fantastic the samosa is outstanding favourite mind blowing one of its kind in Pune had cheese buster that's also good the chutneys is super the style they give is also nice
The Platter Pune
Over hyped place samosa is not so good you can get 100times better samosa in pune and cheaper also with good service the owner is so rude never visiting here again
Onkar Mandlik
FLAVOURSOME.....<br/>One word description for their samosas.<br/>They truely serve piping hot, mouthwatering samosas.<br/>To add on taste is their super fantastic chutney.<br/>Light on pocket.<br/>A must must visit place.<br/>Even the cheese bites are good.<br/>👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Extra points for the nostalgic touch.... Been here so many time I cant even remember... I loved these samosas when I was not able to afford anything else... I really love the samosa.. I wait for the samosa to actually come out directly out of the kadai... Love it...

Visiting this place from past many years for evening snacks and they never disappoint you with good crispy samosa and cheese dip rolls. This place is always crowded but you just need 5 min to get your order ready. Try this !!!!!
Prithviraj J
Anarse samosewale, a place which makes me feel nostaligic, is a place where Samosa is now highly overrated. All factors like its taste, the size of Samosa, the taste of tamarind sweet Chutney and Green one remains same i.e. delicious. But the price of Samose w.r.t all the mentioned aspects is much high. Infact, we can get samosa of same level of taste now at many parts of city with low price of course. That's the negative and critical side of it, though many people still make a crowd, the quantity of crowd gathering for samosa is reduced considerably. But every Punekar and Non punekar has to try Anarase samosa if he/she is fond of street food of Pune.
Sanmit Karandikar
The corner of the road, I still remember that tapri which read jeevala kha.. The guy used to bring fresh samosas from the house to the tapri in a basket.. One of the finest samosa I have ever eaten!!
Devour
I have been a regular visitor to this place since it was like small Tapri n now they hv a good outlet. Samosas are as usual the best. They hv added many new items to d menu card. But I like samosa d most. It's always crowded n there's no sitting arrangement but it hardly matters for dos who wanna have quick bite (like me) service is prompt. Its over all hygienic, reasonable n nice place to hv hot samosas!!
Abhay Khaladkar
I have been visiting this place since the samosa was priced below Rs. 10. It was very near to my school in Sadashiv Peth. It was small tapari like place 15 years back and now the owner brought nice shop just to sell samosa. There are few other items but they are just average but samosa. Oh my god, undoubtedly THE BEST SAMOSA in Pune. Absolutely no competition for this samosa and i have tried 100s of samosa on different places in Pune and nothing even comes close to this. The Aloo subji inside is white(not traditional yellow). The absence of turmeric is actually a plus point. Potatoes are nicely mashed and mixed with ginger, garlic, chill's and special masala. Its just yummm. Chutney and shev nicely compliments the samosa. The only reason i am giving 3.5 rating is the cost. There is no samosa in the world i would pay 20 bucks for. Just too costly for samosa. But i do love this place and must visit for a samosa lover.<br/><br/>Update: Also tried cheese bites and they are so yummm. Its a mixture of Aloo and mozzarella cheese. They simply deep try this mixture and serve you along with a tangy samosa chutney and some chilies. I loved it and will be visiting again for the same.
Ajay Supekar
Great samosa. Great taste. Anarase's samosa is the best in the city. Located in khau galli it is a single shop with no seating arrangement and serves samosa, vadapav and other light snacks. The samosa tastes extremely good. The prices are quite high as compared to other samosa shops. A single samosa for 20 rupees!!! Even for the amazing taste, the prices are a tad bit higher. Must try samosa atleast once.
Ishan Sadwelkar
Hands down the batata/aloo samosa I've had in Pune. <br/>Such an unique treatment to what is a versatile, encompassing dish. The inner steaming hot white mashed potato filling (mashed really smoothly), punctuated by sparse spices is wrapped in a crispy white covering. This samosa is not brown, the covering is not fluffy and airy, it is dense and crisp. Obviously the ingredients used are top class. But what's even better are the impeccable chutneys - sweet and tangly imli/chinchachi chutney and hot green coconut chutney. Both are a burst of contrasting flavours! Coupled with the always-hot-and-fresh samosa, this combo is an instant hit.<br/><br/>Anarse has been around since a while now, at first selling Samosas in the same chowk but from the roadside, I remember there used to be someone standing with a cane topli, constantly handing out samosas hectically. Now they've taken up a space in the same chowk and gone indoors. Wish them all the best. <br/>PS. There have been times when I delayed my Mumbai appointments to go have this samosa.
Vishal Aradhye
Obviously one of the best samosa places in Pune. Though they are Goons .. Owner is very rude and he doesn't care about customers . He acts like pirate and Keep updating price almost every 2 months. Quality has not gone up with that proportion. Above that they recommend you their other dishes like Cheesy bite which is around 50 GM and priced above samosa. I heard it was very famous place back then. Declining to rock bottom unless they make some changes.
Priyanka Nagdev
I was around this place to have pani puri one evening & I finally thougt of giving samosa here a shot! No doubt the samosa was yummy like better than most places in pune. I liked it soo much that I packed another 5 for my family. Anyway the price is 20 rupees per piece which is too much for one samosa & also the owners of the place are extremely extremely rude. Not going back ever! <br/>My friend was saying this place had big queues on street a decade back when they priced it Rs.3 and now not a single person. I wont say that pricing was the reason for this it might be one of the reaons but if owners are so not welcoming and unfriendly nobody will likely visit such a place right.<br/>Would not recommend unless you wanna spoil your day jus coz of a damn samosa !!<br/>
Aditi Patil
You cannot miss Anarse Samosewale when in Pune. Out of the best samosas I've ever had, the samosas here definitely top my list, the crust is nice and crisp and the filling inside is delicious, a bit costly for one samosa to be of 20 Rs, but you ought to try it once atleast!!!
Ankur Singh
20 for a samosa would seem unreasonable to most, but the taste of the product kind of justifies it's price. Nice crispy layer outside with a soft spicy filling inside. One of the yummiest samosas I've eaten in Pune. The shop also serves other things which I've never bothered to try because they don't really look appealing.
Tanvi Awati
The first time I got to eat this place's samosa was when it was brought at my workplace during the weekend. At that time I thought that its little bit spicy but later I realised that it was indeed tasty. Afterwards when I came here I had its vadapav. It was just yummy.A must have for all the vadapav lovers.Overall both the food items are really good in taste, just that the samosa is a little spicy but the imli sauce & shev makes up for that.
Akshat Solanki
I have been here several times to eat Samosa and Vada Pao.<br/>Last Sunday morning, I was here with my brother and we ordered just 2 samosas.<br/>I think they should provide a place to sit so that we can enjoy spicy, hot samosas. They have introduced Cheese Bite, I haven't checked that yet but will do that next time.<br/>I like Kachoris, but unfortunately, they don't serve that.<br/>I think they should.
Samir Kulkarni
I took parcel of samose, vadapav and cheese sticks today, sev and chatni was served along with the parcel. I found the samosa a little costly.
Harshad Deshpande
This place used to cause major Traffic Jams near Telephone Shopiee some years ago. Now forget traffic jam not a single customer was there in the shop this afternoon which caught me by surprise. <br/><br/>Soon things unfolded. The last time I ate a Samosa was some 3-4 years back when I was in college. Today I bought a parcel of 4 samosa's at 80 rupees. 20 rupees for a samosa is nowhere worth it. <br/><br/>The samosa is tasteless remove the chutney out of the samosa and it will taste like a cardboard. <br/><br/>Avoid this place unless you want to eat 20 rupees tasteless samosa
Kapil Ganbote
It used to be good when it was small. Samosa at 20 rs doesn't sound right? There are many better places where you get good samosa. Ucha makaan fikaa pakwan!
Piyush Purwat
After 1-2 years, I had this anarse ka samosa. Before that, I had been eating it since my school days. It was of Rs.14 in 2011. Now it's of Rs.20! At that time, all people used to crowd over there. The taste of their samosa was unique & superb. They used to serve Hot crispy samosas with 2 chutney, shev & mirchi!<br/>But now, the taste was quite good as per previous but the quality is not maintained, samosa was uncooked at corners! Apart, those cheese bites are somewhat good for tp !
Ajinkya Kale
Tucked away in a small lane in Sadashiv Peth near Dnyan Prabodhini school is this shop which serves the best Samosas in the city. Brilliantly fried Samosas with a lot of chutney, you can't have just one. Aside from Samosas, they also serve other items such as Wada pav, and "Cheesy Bites" which their owner recommended to us. Will try that next time, as was too full with the Samosas today.
Anuja Kalantri
This is a "quick grab a snack " kind of eatery. Since on street full of youngsters it is always crowded. Parking is a problem here. The samosa are good. Not the usual ones these are a bit spicy.
Ankush Lawange
😋 want to visit this place again ... Had 3 samosas here with chatni ... Different taste yum .... It's in khau Galli on Tilak road ... Go and have samosas ... Stay hungry..
Pradyumna Chaware
Extremely over hyped and over rated place. The staff is very rude to customers.<br/>They are not at all offering anything special for the price they have put up. <br/>Day by day they have also reduced the amount of filling going in the Samosa.
Akkshey Chaudary
They were simply you can call them PIRATES OF FOOD LINE they are selling one samosa for ₹20 wich is double of others in Pune they are giving different taste and for that they charge double is not good........😠

Went to this place to try out their famous samosa. The samosas were very spicy. If you enjoy spicy food then you can try this joint once. Nothing memorable about their samosas though. Am sure their must be other places in Pune offering better samosas.Don't think I will be coming back to this place.

Tasteless samosa...! high price..,<br/>Totally disappointed...!<br/>all menus are not so tasty...<br/>seating not available...<br/>Doubted about hygiene....

Over hyped and overpriced samosas !! Nothing special really ! This place has been in sadashiv peth for really long time. There was a time when they dished out samosa for 4 Rs each ! But over the years quality has deteriorated and the price has gone up !

They had nice samosas which are spicy and tasty! Also the cheese bites and masala papad were good ! The outlet is next to Rohit cold coffee and the excellent chat corner of pune Pandurang Bhel! They also have one outlet at swargate, overall it was a pleasant experience:)

They serve outstanding samosa. Other food items are not that great. Comparatively price of samosa is too high here. It is located on the road and there is no space available to seat.

Enjoy hot and mouthwatering samosas on tilak road here, and nowhere else. this is the best samosa joint i have ever found in this city. you may have to wait for sometime, but i bet the wait will be worth it. <br/>one word of caution: there are lots of no-parking zones and one-ways so make sure you drive right and park the vehicle in right place.

Huge lip smacking samosas. They are very old in the city. Started from a small thella to a big shop now. They have grown big by the love of punekars for their samosas. As you'll visit here don't forget to taste the jyotis cold coffee/thick coffee very next to this place. Anarse samsose and jyotis thick coffee are excellent combo that we enjoy.

"Jivala kha jivala"....with such a gr8 catchy n unique tagline...I headed up for this place few years back...dat time it was just small tapri...but with constant quality, taste n good service n reasonable rate...this place has became a big shop now in sadashiv peth...which is really commendable thing...since then i have been trying the samosa over here whenever I pass through this area.If anyone not tried the samosa over here ...then one must try.

Been eating samosas here since Rs. 5 per samosa.<br/>Last bought for Rs. 12 per samosa. Rs. 20 is too much for one samosa.<br/><br/>Nevertheless, the quality of the samosa is unmatched.<br/>Try eating the samosa without any chutney or shev and dry. (Ask the vendor not to puncture the samosa to put any king of chutney or shev)<br/><br/>My low rating is only due to the price. Quality was 5/5 when the price was Rs.12 per samosa. Not had samosa since Rs.17 per samosa. <br/><br/>Samosa buffs should definitely try at least once. Many times if the cost is not a constraint for you. :)

Got to know about the place from an article in pune times. The place was hard to find. But the effort totally worth it. Tried samosas with chutneys. The stuffing was different from the normal samosas which i had at other places. The place reminded me of chandni chowk, delhi.

Anarse Samosewale does not need an introduction, if one lives in this part of the city. Its always crowded. Well for the taste of the Samosa I just love it n can have at least 3 at a time. These are always fresh n hot. Definetly worth a visit several times. Some think its too costly for a single samosa, well I would say all good things come with a price tag.

Their 'samosas' are very popular in old pune areas. The joint located in Sadashiv peth. Very good in taste and they serve with the authentic chutneys. I bet you won't stop at one and ask for more😊😊. Nowadays they also started other items too alongwith samosas. Must visit place for quality snacks👍👍.

Rs 2.. 2.5.. 3.. 5... 7.. 8.. 10.. 12.. .....17.. 20. For a samosa. Do you think it is worth paying that much for just 1 samosa? Certainly not. Not a good thing on their part to increase the price so rapidly to so high amount. Nevertheless one should try this out.

Anarse - a small joint / stall in Sadashiv peth, opposite to Dyan Prabodhini School that specialises in Samosa. This place is very very old. It is since the time when i was in MMEMPS. Tht time it was for 4 Ru. Then i went to Polytechnic, by the time i finished my diploma it was for 10 Ruppees. Then till the end of my education of B.E., the price incresed to 15. And here I review it and today it is upto 17 :D. Dont know y for a single samosa 17-20 Ruppes! They were earlier at the corner and due to some anti-encroachment issues they shifted 80-100 meters ahead, next to Rohit Coffee Shop / Pandurang Bhel House. They started cheese bites and it is more delecious than the samosa they offer and pocket friendly tooo! Taste them! Its good. Perhaps there are 3-4 ppl camouflauged under Anarse's Name only! :v be aware.

Anarse is a small joint in Sadashivpeth area opposite to Dyan Prabodhini School that specialises in Samosas. It has a good fan following in its circles. I have been here when I was a kid in school and you could get a samosa only for Rs. 3. Nearly a decade later it costs Rs. 20 and frankly I wasn't a fan back then and considering my resent visit, I still have not changed my opinion.<br/><br/>Samosa here is an crisp affair and a bit stingy on potato filling inside. Its given with or drowned under two chutneys tamarind (sweet) and coriander (also sweet) and some shev. It is served so hot that you end up burning your tongue and hand holding the plate. There's nothing else on the menu worth considering. You can try out the place and tell me why people like it. That has been a mystery for me!

I'm loving it... Probably best samosa in pune with hatke chutney. Only problem with place is you need to deal with parking problem. Others wise good over all.

Had heard about this place hell lots of times from my team lead so was very much excited to visit this place at-least once. Finally got a chance to visit there on a rainy evening. I really enjoyed their hot and tasty samosa with the perfect atmosphere. Everyone might had tried different samosa at multiple places, but this place is having samosa with thin cover and spicy potatos inside. Found this as one of the best place for samosa..!!
Omkar Nibandhe
Taste ok ok. No place to sit comfortably. Another problem of parking. Though its over hyped about the taste and quality, other factors bring down the glory. For the snacks you buy not enough value in terms of taste is refunded.

As name suggested it place famous for Samosa. Frankly speaking though there are huge fans for this food joint I personally didn't liked it at all. Samosa is not price worthy and too oily. Recommended if you ate willing to do experiments.

Well finally I was at this place.. Honestly speaking samosa's taste was not that great as much as it is hype in the market.. Also not that worth for 17rs.. If you are die heart fan then give it a try..

Thanks to Mr Anarase for keeping the taste constant for such a long period. The jouerny from a small 'tupari' to one nice shop is all time appreciable. But I would like to point the jump in price, in recent period. A bit correction can help more college crowd to enjoy the tasty n crunchy samosas :-)
Rajeev
I know this place from 10 yrs. He was selling samosa for rs 2.5 in 2002.. and now he is selling at rs 17 ... but quality maintained. Hygiene poor. Good among street food...
