Review Punjabi Chulha - Pune

Rubal Jabbal
Really good food truck with yummy food. The service is little slow, given the number of people they serve in the evening. The preparation seems hygienic. Must try the Rada chicken and the other tikkas.
Sujay Mahamuni
Authentic Punjabi food. Lemon chicken, butter chicken and chur chur naan was too good and chutney was best.
Gunish Sukhija
Food quality and taste is superb (just like Dilli/ UP North India touch) And because its a food truck so dont expect proper dining, best will be if you go by your own car they serve in car. The place is little dark amd food prices are little on higher side. Having mentioned that worth a visit just to try different type of items they have.
KRISHNA KUNAL
Great taste of food. Also the location is good. Must visit place
harjot khurana
Lip smacking punjabi food. Butter Chicken and Lemon Chicken are must try
chetan gaikwad
Awesome food Chur Chur Naan Kulcha Rada Chicken Chandni Kabaab Tandoori Chandni kabab
Mayura Kasote
We always visit this place.... delicious staters and quantity is good
Alim Parkar
Located road side in the symbiosis lane. 0 for ambience but 5 stars for the food. Chandni kabab is must try if you visit this place
Vladimirs S
Great street food chicken. Quick and easy. Welcoming owner and great staff. Recommend.
pratyush Pr
Nice authentic tandoori items. Chandni and pahari kebabs are a must try. Also they serve good butter chicken.
vaishali parmar
Deliciously delicious non veg they serve. I go there once in a week. Chandani kebab and rada chicken with chur chur naan is the best.
prakrut Mehta
It is a dhaba on the street but it is simply awesome... not for the budget conscious though... if you like having good quality stuff and know the difference between price and Value... it is a must visit.... 👌...
sagar nair
Amaazing food! The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food.

Night out in Pune with some amazing Street food at this street side joint Punjabi Chulha at Viman Nagar. Had some amazing Chicken starters like the Chandni Kebab with a dash of cream and Cream chicken with lots of cream on it. The Tangdi Kebabs was one of the best kebabs had in a long time. Tried something new called ChurChur paratha which had patoto stuffing inside and chilli on the outside along with a red tomato based Chicken gravy called Chicken Rada. The Dal makhani was a big let down. Need to be early here as it runs out of stock pretty soon. Definitely a must try.
Neeyat Mathur
It's the best place when you are at top of your hunger. Chicken Achari Tikka and Murg Mussalam are my all time favourite order. Apart from this, they serve very tasty Daal. A bit overpiced.<br/>P.S.: Don't order from zomato, swiggy etc. If you really want to enjoy tha taste, go to the truck and eat it.
Ravina Singla
Taste is ok for malai Chaap...but quantity is too less for single person for the price.. Better to go for next to it the tandoori Singh... at least that has reasonable rates...
Taranjot Singh
What kebabs!!!!!! Yummy, lip smacking and delicious. Loved the marination of chandni kebab as well as their tangaddi's. Sardarji their is too polite and humble. I don't think the place is overpriced. Especially the kebabs are worth the money. I guess even the 5 star hotels are not serving their food up to the mark. This sardarji brings in totally the north indian flavours in Pune. Loved the way he talks and serves the food. I can visit like everyday for their kebabs. Idk how much to write yaar. Yum yum yum!!!!!!<br/>

Prices are relatively high compared to quantity. Quality is awesome. 300 for 2 is not possible. You can only finish your breakfast in 300 here.
AS The Foodie
Worst paneers I ever had in my life... Spices were not at all fry... Too bad in taste... Highly disappointing... however the delivery was good but food was below expectation.
Shaks 4u
Kebabs are tasty... Bt costlier than your local restaurant... 200 bucks for 6 pieces only.. low on quantity... Cashing in on symbi students :(<br/><br/>Ur area’s local restaurant would provide 8-9 pieces at least for the same price.
Shubhankar Bokil
Not a value for money! Quantity is very less, not enough even for a single person. Taste is nothing extraordinary and not upto the mark, compared to the price.
Arunima Raina
Every time I crave good and spicy punjabi food, the only place I can think of is punjabi chulha. Specialising in tandoori items, their veg and non-veg are both tasty. Do not miss the chicken Achari tikka. It tastes the best with butter naan. The only disadvantage is that as far as the viman Nagar outlet is concerned is that it’s a food truck, and for the menu they have it becomes difficult to stand and eat, even though they do provide 3-4 stools, they are usually occupied. It is a wee bit overpriced for students but it’s totally worth it.
Subhasish Ghosh
I had soya chap here and the food was real good. I think the rating are low just because of the price. I rated 4 because of the quality of the food. And I didn't pay for the food as we are neighbor. If ur veg and want to know how chicken taste then try Malai soya chap.
Harshita Bathija
I had ordered Chandni chicken and after having it I felt that I was cheated. It was actually momos which was put in tandoor and was garnished with cream.<br/>They charged 240 for 6 pieces.<br/>They didn’t even inform us that it would be momos and not kebabs. If I wana eat momos, I would eat the original ones which costs 70 and not these tandoored momos. What a waste of money. It’s definitely an overpriced place. The rates are like that of restaurants. Would never ever visit this place.
Gurpreet Sidhu
As already specified by one of the customer...price is too high when compared with the quality and the quantity...took butter chicken which didn’t taste like butter chicken at all ...quantity too less ...i believe one can get much better quality and quantity from other restaurants at viman nagar ...đŸ˜”đŸ˜”
Anu C
They have really de-graded the quality. Started compromising in quantity. Paneer tikka was not fresh.. sincere advise to management that your taste is good .. don’t de-grade ur quality . You guys already have selected menu.. please maintain taste and quality.. many competitors in market
Akshat Singh Bais
Dry food items are really tasty . Chicken served was very tender and soft .<br/>Chur Chur naan suited good with these starters .<br/>Price is a bit on a higher side because the quantity they serve has no relation with it ( which is less ) .<br/>
Rahul Joshi
A pure visual delight when you pass by the symbiosis college road post your hectic day at office. This rating is because of the price VS quantity. Taste- nothing extra ordinary and quite available these days in any kabab/grill based restaurant in much reasonable rates. Sardarji (owner) is humble, you may surely want to order as per his recommendation , Service is fast.<br/>FOOD- Chicken chandani kabab was good, veg achari chaap- okiesh, chicken Afghani kabab has three decent leg pieces marinated in curd & good masalas- not bad. The Hari chatni is highlight-non spicy and goes well with onion rings salad. Got chicken bhuna curry parceled- which I dint liked.<br/><br/>I think real fun of eating Chaap/Kabab is on the spot and if you home deliver it, even after reheating it the real taste is lost and one should eat these dishes then and there when it is out of tandoor. Also if the management think on working out on competitive rates this joint will do much better.<br/><br/>
Sanket M
Its a road side joint, I tried chicken tandoori and paneer kadhai , The taste was good. But the price is on higher side. Does not match with what a street food should be.
Palak Arora
Bringing the amazing taste and flavours of North to Pune, this place has become my favorite. Such mouth melting kebabs and tikkas at this place! Totally loved this food truck! Do try!! The only reason why am I rating it a 3 is because it is a little expensive for the quantity since it is really less.
Anand Patil
Too expensive for street food. I mean who charges 500 for a plate on footpath?? Worst quantity to price ratio. <br/>AND THIS GUY DOESN’T EVEN PAY TAXESđŸ€Ź
Sankyilicious
Visited these place twice already ,Tried veg and nonveg kebabs both were yummy .Quality and quantity is good for a food truck ,the only thing I took away one star is coz I find it too pricy for a food truck with no good sitting area .The owner is a fantastic guy ,knows his business very well and most importantly is passionate about his work .<br/>Veerji thoda pricing pe dhyaan de ,baki Sab Chak de phatte .all the best .waiting for mutton & fish on the menu .
Vivek Jadhav
Food quantity too less, pieces also too small. The rates are as equal to a good restaurant but very disappointed with taste and quantity. <br/>The masala was not even cooked properly and chicken had become soggy and tasteless.<br/>Would never recommend any body. <br/>I also doubt the hygiene of the food, as they park exactly beside a public toilet which keeps smelling killing your appetite.
Amol K.
This food venture located next to CCD vimanagar, I thought to give a try so i ordered panner achari tikka, <br/>Firstly i found the quantity which they offer is very very less... If you look at the price it's never match with quantity...taste and quality was so so... packing also not up to the mark....lot lot improvement needed. Will not try again for sure....😕😕
Shravan Ganjoo
Ordered yday a couple of starters from here. Not up to the mark at all. Quantity is also something which you need to keep in mind. The good and bad about is that it is located on the road more or less like a food truck but lacks punch. A bare pass in my view.
Abhishek Mavi
Never read reviews before visiting. Each person can have a different experience.<br/><br/>Just saw this while passing by with friends and tried it.<br/><br/>6 chicken tikkas in different suaces.<br/><br/>Very good taste. No questions asked. They charge high but they have the food quality.<br/><br/>It's a road side vendor so nothing on ambience but please don't expect it to be like others. The owner is sweet and sardarji was very friendly. What you can call it a "Premium" Food Truck<br/><br/>The only thing that bothered me is its location. The place was not hygienic. They kept their area clean but just 10 mtrs down there's a Public Toilet.
CS Rohit Nair
Very close to symbiosis college, this food truck should be an outlet which everyone plying through this area must've seen. Well don't go by the looks, this place is not that cheap when it comes to the food! Its priced heavy compared to what a food truck rate should be. <br/><br/>The tikkas and chaaps looked amazing before ordering and was bit dicey when it came to selection when one of the food truck owners stepped in to help with menu selection. We went on<br/> With their suggestion and ordered chicken achari tikkka with soya chaap and chur chur naan. <br/><br/>Nevertheless they tasted really well and was a good preparation, however to our dissappointment, the quantity served was so damn less as compared to the rate charged. <br/><br/>The chicken tikka was for 200, veg soya chaap for 200! Chur chur naan for 50 each! Wooaah! <br/><br/>You check their menu and will be astonished to see even Normal Rajma gravy being priced at 200!<br/><br/>Well even after spending almost 600 bucks i was still hungry and my mind started searching for alternatives and so i stopped and went somewhere else without wasting much money. <br/><br/>Trust me the taste was good, but when it comes to money, it was not worth and quantity too was an issue. <br/><br/>You may still try this outlet once to taste something different.
Rubal Jabbal
Tried the chandni kabab. Tasted like grilled chicken dipped in lots of mayo. The chicken was moist. If you are a mayo fan, this dish is for you. The chicken curry was below average. The food is not bad, the environment is not healthy. We would have enjoyed eating if we were not constantly eyed by the stray dogs -_-
It&#039;s All About Taste - Happy Singh
Shame on u Sardarji<br/><br/>Unethical and liar foodcart owner<br/><br/>Charged much higher to what is mentioned in the list price and then forcing his argument<br/><br/>Returned the delivery, Spoilt the evening completely...<br/><br/>On phone also overheard, other guests complaining on some issues..<br/><br/>
Harsh Shah
Butter Chickn was sour, felt like whole lime was squeezed in it, and priced at 280 a dish(too much for a Road side venture). If you cant get butter chicken right then its a disgrace to start a Punjabi food place. <br/><br/>Afghani kabab was priced around Rs 190; 190 for five small pieces of chicken roadside. Are you kidding me! <br/><br/>The place is a total let down. Avoid it, if you can.
Vanshaj Vig
Great food. Although I would suggest to rent a shop for hygiene concerns. Overall, the home delivery and the food was nice. Adding more contents to your menu card is also important.
Biswarup Gupta
Overpriced, small portions, not impressed.. sorry!!<br/>Food taste was not flavourful and tasted lke quick fix stuff...<br/><br/>Too overpriced for a food truck.. which is unexpected but, then taste is nothing too overwhelming.<br/><br/>You can get much better value for money elsewhere i feel..<br/><br/>Cheers!!
Asmita
A great example of a food truck or 'Meal on Wheels'.. They give a tough competition and run for money to all the other Punjabi restaurants in Viman Nagar.. I can say it is slightly priced higher for food truck; but they don't compromise on the taste. <br/>Dil bole Hadippa đŸ•șđŸŒ.. <br/>Few items which I have tried from their menu: <br/>- Chicken Tikka: Succulent chicken pieces marinated and perfectly cooked in tandoor. Authentic!<br/>- Chandani Kabab: Speciality; Mince mutton filled inside succulent chicken pieces, flavoured with spices. A MUST TRY! Tip: Eat the kabab there, rather than parceling it home. The flavour and taste is when you have it immediately out of tandoor. <br/>- Dal Makhani: The best in menu. Dal makhani lovers please don't miss. <br/>- Chicken Handi: Moderately spiced Chicken Gravy. <br/><br/>
Suraj Naram
This is a food truck so ambience is out of the door..<br/>Tried their aachari soya chaap tikka and butter chicken roll...the tikka was brilliant and the roll was sub average..we like the aachari chaap so much that we ordered another round of reshmi soya chaap. To be dissapointed again.<br/><br/>The prices are also steep and the above cost us 500 bucks and thats high for a food truck.<br/><br/>Overall if you want a quick bite can pay visit once a while
Mrinal Kumar
My personal experience says if you want to test the authenticity of a punjabi cuisine serving place, try their dal makhni. Being an ardent dal makhni fan that's what I did here. Not overly great but was not bad either. Though the portion size is meager but the taste qualifies it to be better than a lot of dine in restaurants. Price definitely high for a food truck as it equals to a dine in restaurant which keeps increased rate because of higher logistical cost. Food trucks are meant to be pocket friendly. I bet if there are lower prices n same portion the return rate of their customers would be more frequent. And the price disappointing part qualifies it for a lesser rating. However friendly owner n open to suggestions.
Rohit Bhole
Been here thrice in the past 4 days, the owner is helpful n suggests good stuff<br/>Superb starters, Afhani kabab n tandoori chicken must try. The Paneer Tikka is the best I've had till date, softest paneer ever !!<br/>Tried maincourse in veg, paneer makhanwala n mushroom Kadhai, did not like them, the gravy was sad of both<br/>I feel this is a place for starters
Prakash Prince
its good place but not a comfortable an choice of food found... ww upset for going <br/>we might for again visit next time we hope<br/><br/><br/>...........
Stelida Fernandes
This place has been good since long long I used to have a lot here noticed the price increasing as days passing by which is a little much.but the the quality of the food hasn't decreased even a bit which is a good thing.my most fav dish here is chandini kababs, if u r visiting this place it is a must have.
KrantiKrishna (krantiawelltravelledgourmand)
If you are in and around Viman nagar and wanna taste good punjabi food this is the place to be<br/>I am glad my friend showed me this place and had introduced me to their fingerlicking food!<br/>Ambiance - road side thela  :)<br/>Service - they take time - as their staff is less<br/>But they have the warmth and do their best<br/>Food - 5/5 for taste<br/>Dil bole waaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh <br/>Chandini kabab special - is a must try here<br/>Then coming to main course its lacha parantha and buna chicken or butter chicken<br/>And remind you folks this is not a place fr some one looking for ambiance and posh eatery !<br/>roadside food but one keen on palatable desi khana :)<br/>dil jarorrrr khush hojayega kakeeeee :)

Most delicious and sumptuous kebab , tikka one can have in Pune. They have also started in Kalyani Nagar . amazing food amazing taste. Must try for Punjabi food lover.
Carol
The best kebabs ever..nyc roadside joint.. can hop on a stool and have amazing kebabs at a small cost.staff is friendly and the surroundings are clean..so you dont get dat icky feeling wen u eat on d street.. Good place fe an evening snack or late nyt dinner..Simply loved it..
Lea Lerato
It's located next to the public urinal on the symbiosis college road. I don't even want to mention anything else apart from the smell of the food enhanced by the aroma of the urinal.
Zulfikar Shaikh
It has the worst butter chicken I ever had. First time I have tasted a spicy butter chicken. Worst and waste of my money. Kebab are fine but overpriced.
Nigel Simoes
I stopped by this place hoping to be surprised by the food they had to offer.. Can't say I was surprised.. The quality of the food that I had wasn't all that great, neither was it bad.. The quantity didn't make me happy at all.. Overall it's an okayish place.. Nothing fancy or out of this world..
Hiten Gulati
The food was palatable. The kulcha was good but the black dal was very spicy.<br/><br/>Not impressed with the people taking the order. <br/><br/>May not be in a position to recommend this place.
Chittaranjan Dhanpal
It is located on the street side of viman nagar road .The food was good especially the chicken kebab and the quality of panner was soft and milky ,the main thing I personally think that it's pretty expensive as 300-400 for a plate of kebab and that to on the road side environment or else if you are rich and can afford its a pretty decent place to hang out.
Chetan Ingle
Firdosi Aaloo.starters.Deep fried potatoes stuffed with paneer and perfectly flavoured punjabi ishtyle masalas.Good option in veg starters..Tasty...
Micky Joe Thomas
Amazing food have been there many a times alone and with famiky and also have takdn delivery never have had any issue. Good Food must try especially chandi kabab..
Adil Merchant
Typical north Indian taste - excellent, fresh, juicy chicken - cooked in home made spices - no artificial colouring - very addictive food - I indulge 5 times a week - highly recommended : )<br/>
Tuhin Widhani
Park your car, switch on the AC and pump up the music, food will be served to you. Really soft chicken tikka and malai tikka along with butter naan. Good stuff, maintain the freshness. Nothing great about the 'special' chandani kabab. average stuff.<br/>Would have given 4 stars, but half star cut for being a bit pricey for street food standards.
Rageshree Tungar
Hi I have written about this place in the past also. The reason of writing again is that there are some new additions in the menu which is a must try.The fish Tikka and the soya bean chaap are the new additions and I guess a must try.You would have to binge on this street side food in your car as they do not have any seating. The black dal, chandni kebab and the chicken tikka is also great.
Snigdha Kotnala
When I visited this food truck a month ago, I thought I had never tasted something as good as their Tanduri Soya Chaap. The Dal Makhani too tasted good. Also, I have heard their non veg dishes are far better than the vegetarian ones. Though they have highly over rated their food that they serve in really small quantities. Yet somehow I hired them for an event and saw their true colors. Their mass cooking is bull crap. Our guests were really pissed with the quality and taste of the food that Punjabi Chulha was serving. Not at all happy with their service.
Abhijeet Kamble
If you like chicken with authentic punjabi flavours then you muat try this mini food truck in viman nagar. For starters i would like to recommend chandni kababs n chicken achari tikkas.
Kanchan Chandna
Very Expensive!<br/><br/>Tangdi kabab: Not well cooked. It was raw inside<br/>Veg Tawa: Ahh.. spicy, yummy! We loved it.<br/>Lacha paranta: I liked it.<br/><br/>Overall, very expensive, decent taste, decent quantity but but but... its on the busy road with construction things going on on the road... Dust is in the air and may be on the food. They need to think on that for sure!
Ajinkya Phalke
One of the most sumptous kebabs. Very perfectly cooked. The special chandni kebabs and the tangdi are a must try. Beautiflly garnished with fresh malai, the kebabs are mouth watering. Very satisfied<br/>
Asmi K
After listening to lot of good review from friends i decided to try this place out. I have to say none of what i heard did justice to the food. Meal on wheels concept is good. Mouth watering, appetising, tasty!! Must try the Achari chicken tikka. Pick anything the menu and it will definitely exceed expectations. Loved the place. Not exactly priced at street food rates but the quality and taste too is not street like either. Worth it!!
Devendra Yadav
Well this place has got this one dish which has made me eat non veg. Chandani kebab is a treat to your taste buds. If you go there, do order that. There are other good veg options too. Dal makhni is not out of the world, but its pretty good. The breads they prepare remain fresh after quite a long time (if you want to opt for takeaway). People who manage this place are friendly too. All in all, street food (not exactly) at its best.
Khata Rahe Mera Pet
The most stupid Punjabi food for main course.<br/>Starters might be good..I didn't tried it, so no comments on that.<br/><br/>I tried main course, so here is my review.<br/><br/>Value for Money: Zero (0)..Dal makhani priced at 190..served in small portion..road side food..no ambience..no cutlery..no quality.. Half cooked.. Bullshit. Money wasted.<br/>Same with roti/naan.. Ultra small size with jumbo size price. It's better to go for a fine dine.<br/>Kadhai paneer: 4 rubber pieces of so called paneer in tomato gravy with just few raw onion and capsicum. Again money wasted 190/rs.<br/>Jeera rice..quality which is served in govt mid day meal would be better.. It even had stone pieces... Rs 120 wasted.<br/><br/>Complete wastage of money.<br/>And above all owner claims to be in business for 10 years.. LoL.<br/><br/>Not a Punjabi main course for sure.
Grishma Pandit
Having heard a lot about this particular "food truck", I decided to indulge my taste buds. <br/>Viman nagar in my opinion is turning out to be a place that has eateries for all! From fine dining to quick meals, this locality is self sufficient. Punjabi chulha tries to fit in with their Punjabi dishes. However, this particular one is not on my favourite list. <br/>Please keep in mind this review is specifically for their vegetarian dishes. (I hear their non veg bit is better). <br/>My order here included:<br/>Paneer achari tandoori, <br/>Paneer kadhai, <br/>Daal makhani, <br/>Amritsari kulcha and Laccha paratha. <br/><br/>The paneer achari tandoori was well flavoured and swore to the likes of regular orangey paneer tikkas. Not extraordinarily, melt in the mouth kind but decent. <br/>The paneer kadhai and dal makhni certainly had a tantalising aroma. The amritsari kulchas and laccha paratha complimented the two well. <br/>While the food is average, the price is certainly not justified for the quality and flavours they serve.
Utsav Dutta
They serve good Punjabi food. <br/><br/>Had dal makhani and butter tandoori naan. It was tasty exactly like Punjabi food should be. <br/><br/>Its street food. Hygiene might be in question. But its tasty so one would end up saying " oh what the hell, lets just have it". <br/><br/>The quantity for the price is unfair. Highly overpriced. We paid â‚č 310 for our meal where â‚č 190 was only for the dal makhani and rest for five tandoori naan.<br/><br/>Overall experience - Paid for more than what I ate. One will feel that.
Pragnya Seth
Can I give more than 5.0? Excellent quality. Lip smacking taste. It is a roadside eatery but clean and run by a polite sardarji. That's it. Will take you to food heaven.
Abhishek Mohanty
It's outdoor joint owned by a Punjabi guy. Staffs are courteous. While visiting this place, don't expect you will get a chair to sit in. Fortunately I got one. <br/><br/>Now coming to food, We ordered a Afghani kebab. Kebabs are well cooked and tender. Looks good. But as a foodie what I feel aroma of Afghani kebab was missing. Still it is good. <br/>We ordered roti and murgh musullam . They served a big portion to us. It was good and even liked it.
Aditya Gokhale
Worth trying once in a while.<br/><br/>Food: Be it mutton, chicken or paneer kebabs the taste is nice. Tandoori chicken was well marinated, tender and perfectly cooked. So were the mutton kebabs. But the rotis were small and too dry. Butter chicken gravy was not according to what is served in other restaurants in Pune. The owner claims that ‘butter chicken gravy should be spicy and not sweet. Everywhere on Delhi side, butter chicken served is always spicy.’ But still, I did not find the gravy very impressive.<br/><br/>Service: he owner himself looks after the order taking and speed of cooking. While he is chitchatting with the people waiting for their food, he would also ensure that the food is not delayed and given on First-in-first-out basis. Very impressive. Full marks here.<br/><br/>Ambience: It is just a big car converted in a cooking line with tandoor just outside of it. If you want to eat there, food will be served in disposable paper plates on a plastic tray. You can lay the tray on onwer’s car’s bonnet if is not occupied already. Take-away seems to be a good idea here.<br/><br/>Value for Money: 50-50. For a roadside take-away food joint, food is priced at par to the restaurants in the vicinity. You might think to dine in a restaurant nearby.
Anand Kumar
Just had a Chandni kebab. This is a fusion of momos and kebab. they have done it well. Good street food you can try if you around viman nagar.

This is my second review for the place and I'm changing my rating . I had given it a 4.5 based on my first 2 experiences and im sure Piyush Agarwal would agree with my earlier ratings .The food quality has gone down to the dogs , my butter chicken gravy was thinner than my buttermilk would be. The chandni kebab which was brilliant a month back was served with too much of everything. The rates have increased and the quantity and quality has decreased . I was really disappointed because I had recommended this place to a lot of guys and I hope to God they don't visit the place on my recommendation . There were also 2 drunk men who were misbehaving with a young guy waiting to take his parcel home when the owner joined in on the fun , now I do not know if the men were politically connected but it did seem so. Thankfully there were no women around . The least the owner could do was ensure men do not misbehave with his customers but he ended up joining in on the bullying. My order took 45 minutes and they also got confused twice and gave me the wrong order again and again ,thank God I had checked. The rates have skyrocketed and I do not know why because they do not really offer an ambience or any kind of service and now they don't even offer good food or safety or good behaviour. Never going back there ever again.
Shweta
****************************** Updating the rating (from 4.5 to 3.5) owing to some indifferent experiences in terms of consistency, the promise they had shown initially seems to be fading away, however still the food is good. The foremost thing they have to improve is their consistency in preparations and ensuring that customers receive value for their bucks by either improving the quantity or reducing the price of their rather overpriced items.***********************<br/>I am humming this song Chandani O Meri Chandani for the past hour or so and instead of visualizing Sreedevi I am getting multiple close up shots of the Chandani Kebabs on offer at this place ;) To sum up these kebabs are mind blowing and nothing like any kebab I have eaten before :)<br/><br/>Six pieces of chicken kebabs for 240 bucks at a road side Food Van was not exactly a bargain I was looking forward to, but I just happened to bump into this place as I was passing by to have some flavorful Mastani at Viman Nagar.<br/><br/>Talking about the Chandani Kebabs, (as recommended by the owner, a warm and passionate Sikh Gentleman) these were one of the most succulent kebab variants I have ever had. These kebabs have a smooth and melt in the mouth covering of chicken with a stuffing of minced chicken, topped by their special masala and cream along with a nicely prepared green chutney.<br/><br/>As I had my first bite I got up from the chair shook hands with the owner and quickly jumped back at my seat to have one of the most flavorful servings triggering a gastronomical delight that is still vivid as I write this review. I tried eating the six pieces as slow as I could to savor the taste and aroma but still ended up galloping everything within two minutes as it was outright delicious and absolutely delectable.<br/><br/>Next recommendation on the list was achari kebab but I thought of having Butter Chicken as Parcel so that I could still have some space for Mastani.<br/><br/>Back home as I tasted the Butter Chicken, it was one of the better butter chicken preparations that I came across in Pune in recent times. Just for the record it wasn't extra sweet as is the norm in so many places but had a subtle sweetness about it which was quite rewarding to the taste buds.<br/><br/>For the ratings in short:<br/><br/>Food 4.5/5<br/><br/>VFM 4/5 (it's not cheap and the quantity is not the greatest but the taste will definitely surpass your expectations)<br/><br/>If you happen to live in Viman Nagar and like good spicy Punjabi Food I would seriously wonder how you wouldn't land up at this place at-least once. And if you land up here once I even more wonder why you wouldn't come back here over and over again, I am definitely coming back as I am in love with Chandani (Kebabs) !<br/><br/>Folks who can't locate this and happen to wander around in search, take the easier route and call the owner at 7028015571 if in doubt, happy eating :)
